The Chief Cornerstone
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the King of kings and Lord of lords, is the chief cornerstone of all creation. He is the One who has created the universe and all that is in it as well as the One who holds it together and enables it to keep going. Without Him, nothing that was made, came into existence. To Him, alone, as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit, the other two persons of the blessed Trinity, make all life to be able to come into existence and also to make it keep growing and becoming greater. Jesus is the wonderful Creator and Sustainer of every living creature.
What Is a Cornerstone?
Although often just a decorative or memorial stone, in modern architecture, a cornerstone is still a very important part of building a house or edifice, of any description. When laid it is usually the first stone that determines the orientation of the house and often the building block that determines where the rest of the blocks are laid, so as to complete the structure. In the church of God, Jesus Christ, as the first born Son of God, is the chief cornerstone upon which the church has its sure foundation, both as the body of Christ and every born again individual member. Without this foundation of the Lord the whole structure, not only of the church but also of the entire universe, would collapse and completely disintegrate.
The Cornerstone Is Rejected
Most people, even today, as well as the Jews of Jesus' time, rejected Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone, of their lives and their spiritual beliefs and understanding. We learn about this when reading Psalm 118 verses 22 and 23. Jesus was rejected by the majority of people, in Israel, from the time of King David and later when He dwelt on the earth, performing miracles throughout the land of Israel. However, a most marvellous event, was taking place. The very person, who was the chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, was rejected by the leaders of Israel and also by the so called church throughout the subsequent two thousand years of church history. Many of the common folk accepted Him as Lord and Saviour, even as many are doing so, today. The church leaders, in the main, rejected His authority and righteousness, just as they are doing so, today.
The Resting Stone for Zion
Isaiah chapter 28 verse 16 informs us that Jesus was the resting stone for Zion, hundreds of years before His manifestation to Israel, during His earthly life in their midst. He was then and is now and forever will be the cornerstone for all who are willing to believe in Him and His word and follow Him. Those people, who do follow Him, will find their eternal rest and peace, in Him and will not be disturbed by any circumstances or earthly situations, that come their way.
He Was Rejected but Still Became the Cornerstone
The Lord has been, throughout the ages, rejected by the majority of mankind. He, the great sustainer of life, has become and always will be the chief cornerstone. The leaders of Israel had rejected God and they lost their spiritual authority and the whole nation was punished for their unbelief. This we read from Luke chapter 20 verses 16 and 17. Deception by the flesh, the world and the devil has led all those who, as yet, do not know Him or have rejected Him, to live broken, corrupt and unfulfilled lives. People, who reject His Lordship, continue to live in a world of broken marriages, undisciplined children, crime waves, constant friction and warfare between individuals and nations, shortened lives full of disease and injuries, as well as drug and drink related despair and often abject poverty and lack. Only, in Jesus Christ, the true cornerstone of all existence, can there be true righteousness, love, peace, joy and victory.
Jesus Is the Cornerstone of Salvation
Peter and John had been put on trial before the Jewish court or Sanhedrin for the supposed crime of preaching, in the name, of Jesus of Nazareth. We learn about the importance of this information, concerning mankind's salvation, from Acts chapter 4 verses 10 to 12. These apostles were before the court of the high priest, Caiaphas and other members of the high priest's family. The accusation was that they had preached about Jesus Christ of Nazareth and that He had been crucified but had also risen again. In that name, of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and not the apostles, had the crippled man been healed. It was however, true, that those who believed in Christ's resurrection, as well as other bystanders had witnessed this man walking and leaping and praising God. Jesus was the stone of salvation rejected by the Jewish leaders. He has now, before their very eyes, become the chief cornerstone. Their is no salvation or healing or even proper relationships between people except through the name of Jesus. He, alone, enables people to be saved and healed.
Be Like Jesus
Many people, in Israel, at the time when Jesus lived in Israel, became offended at His gospel. This is no different to many people, today. We read about this from Romans chapter 9 verses 32 and 33. Jesus Christ was and is the cornerstone of truth and righteousness. God's standards often offend the unbelievers and as a result, those who love the Lord will also face offence and ridicule. However, all genuine blood bought Christians, will endeavour to follow the example set by their master, Jesus Christ. In doing so, they will often have to swim upstream but wonderfully they will never be put to eternal shame. These are those who are eternally victorious through Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone. Always keep going onwards in prayerful fellowship with the Father, in Jesus' name. Always obey the Holy Spirit's directions and gloriously enter into the supernatural sphere, from the earthly one. Keep on learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to your daily circumstances.
Our Secure Foundation
All who love the Lord and obey Him have their lives built upon the secure foundation of God's word. This foundation was written on hearts or spirits of the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles of the New Testament by the finger of God, the Holy Spirit, in complete conjunction with Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone .This we learn from reading Ephesians chapter 2 verses 20 to 22. The whole structure of the church, the body of Christ, is and must be built upon and continue to grow into a holy temple, set apart and dedicated through the presence and fellowship of the Lord. Each person, who has fellowship with Him and each other, are all being built together, as a dwelling place of God, through the Holy Spirit.
Never Be Offended
We realise how important it is that our redeemed spirit will never be put to shame when we read 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 6 to 8. Jesus came to Zion or Jerusalem, a chosen stone, a precious or honoured cornerstone. He was and is the cornerstone for mankind's eternal salvation. Those who believe and trust and rely on Him will never be disappointed in His marvellous provisions for them. This is the reality for all who truly believe. However, for those who are not willing to believe, the chief cornerstone, they have already rejected has become a stone of stumbling and offence. Unfortunately, most of mankind, have decided to make Jesus Christ of Nazareth, their stumbling block and a rock of offence. As Christians we must rejoice in the fact that Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone for all eternity. For those who are offended by His grace and truth there remains a dreadful darkness of eternal damnation in hell. Those who believe are to look upwards and keep rejoicing, for their salvation is secure for all eternity, in Him! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

The Source of Power
Every born again Christian is able to access the throne of God through the Holy Spirit, God's power, available to all believers. We obtain this through the revelation knowledge and understanding that the Holy Spirit brings forth from God's word, the Holy Bible. This wonderful information and its specific application enables all believers to have complete confidence in God's ability to see them come through successfully, over all the deceptions, obstacles and needs of their daily life. You are an eternal child of God in the hands of His marvellous oversight and power. As long as we trust in Him, alone, He is well able to give, each of us, His victory.
God Supplies All Our Needs
As we learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our circumstances, our hope and confidence and trust, in Him, increases. Our faith in Him and His word grows, as we trust in Him, for everything He desires us to do, according to His will and purposes. God promises us in Philippians chapter 4 verse 19 that He will supply all our needs according to His glorious riches, available through Christ Jesus. This includes our need for sufficient food and clothing and all the requirements of our daily circumstances. Included in the needs are the funds to pay our bills and financial commitments. This also includes being able to live a healthy and healed life as well as the ability to have excellent family relationships and personal companionship. However, we must be willing to love others and also be willing to forgive other people, including family members and friends. Always obey the Holy Spirit's directions and the ways of God, revealed in His word, the Holy Bible.
Your Adversary the Devil
Everyone has a cruel adversary who always endeavours to defeat them. His name is Satan, the devil. We learn about his divisive and deceitful tactics from James chapter 4 verse 7. So that we can have complete victory in our life we must recognise who is our enemy. He will try at all times to take over our thinking processes. Satan brings up things from our past and then endeavours to influence us with fear, doubt and unbelief. God, however, has given us His word with its power and authority enabling us to resist the devil. To be fully effective we must be obedient to God's will and purposes for our life and we must never give the devil a place, in our life. Those who are obedient to God will enjoy victory over Satan and his demonic hordes. This will free you from the terror that he desires to inflict upon you and he himself will have to flee from you in terror. When you act upon God's word Satan becomes aware that you know that the Lord defeated him when Jesus rose victoriously, in resurrection power. This power belongs to all who truly love the Lord.
Your Right to the Lord's Healing Power
Every true born again believer has a God given right, to the healing power of God. This healing is part of their salvation package. Jesus secured this marvellous, eternal salvation, on your behalf, when He went to the Cross at Calvary and died for your penalty of sins and then arose triumphantly from the grave. By accepting the supreme gift of salvation which includes the wonderful result of eternal life, we have also inherited his healing power, while on earth. We read about the Lord's healing on our behalf, from Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5. He was bruised for our iniquities or sins and crushed for our wickedness. He secured our freedom from our sin nature and with the stripes laid upon His body, everyone who believes in Him, can be healed. Furthermore, we learn from Acts chapter 10 verse 38 that God the Father anointed Jesus through the great power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by Satan, the devil, for God the Father was with Him. Satan's bondage of sicknesses was broken by the anointed power of the Holy Spirit. Everyone, who believes, can be healed from their sicknesses caused by Satan's oppression. However, this is a daily earthly endeavour that must be constantly practised, based on God's word.
Satan Is a Defeated Foe
We read and learn from Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 to15 about the complete destruction of Satan's power, in a believer's life. Like all unbelievers, before they repented of their sins and made a quality decision, to follow the Lord, we were spiritually dead, in our sins, because of our sin nature. However, when we repented, we gained forgiveness of sins and eternal life. When Jesus arose from the grave, He cancelled out the legal certificate of death, with its righteous, legal demands against us. He completely annihilated their demands by nailing them to the Cross. He then completely disabled all the supernatural authorities and their powers. This includes Satan and his demonic hordes and at that very moment, He made a public spectacle of their defeat. They all became captives of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and of all who were willing to believe, in Him. This was a great triumphant procession of righteousness wrought through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord. God the Father, raised Jesus to be the Lord and ruler over all the universe for evermore.
Your Armour Gives You Victory
Christians learn how to be strong and how to be able to have God's victory in their lives, as they read and apply Ephesians chapter 6 verses 10 to 18. We first learn about how we are to be strong, both in personal endeavours, in our relationships and in our prayers. Always be willing to be strong in the Lord and His might and never in our own failing, fleshly strength. It must always be in the Lord's strength, as revealed to us, through the Holy Spirit and His revelation knowledge of the word of God, the Holy Bible. Just like any soldier, preparing for battle in a war zone, we must put on our full battle armour. Every born again believer must put on their spiritual armour, in order to successfully combat their enemy, the devil. Our battle armour must be worn not just for a day, but also, throughout our whole lifetime, on earth. We must follow God's instructions and never give up. It must be a continual daily obedience to God's will and purposes. We must not promote lies and deceit but live truthful lives, according to God's word, the Holy Bible. Each day we must be ready to share the gospel, of God's kingdom, with all who are willing to receive it. By diligently applying God's word by faith,we are able to oppose and overcome all the lies and deceits of Satan and his demonic host. Every day we acknowledge and walk in the wonderful security, as God's changing children. This security covers us like a soldier's helmet of protection. We wield the sword of the Holy Spirit through God's word. This is the knowledge and application of God's word, to all our daily circumstances. We must always keep on interceding in prayer, for ourselves, our family and friends and for whatever situation the Holy Spirit directs us to pray for.
Always Keep Praising the Lord
Our greatest weapon is our willingness to constantly keep on praising the lord. We must acknowledge His goodness and wonderful provision for us as well as our eternal salvation. We read about the wonder of the praises of God's people in Psalm 22 verse 3. The Lord, our God, is a Holy God, a God of absolute perfection. As His children we must respond to our marvellous God by consistently offering our praises to Him, for who He is and what He has done for us. It is also for what He is doing for us now and what He will do for us in the future. Israel, of old, who were God's chosen people then, were encouraged to keep praising the Lord just as God's children, all His born again believers, from every nation under heaven, must spontaneously do, in this day and age. This must be despite the wicked unregenerate world around us. Keep on praising His holy name! This is your wonderful song of victory! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Are You Willing to Receive? Blog 331- June 22nd 2024]]>Sat, 22 Jun 2024 04:30:04 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/are-you-willing-to-receive-blog-331-june-22nd-2024Picture
Your Free Will
Every person has been given a free will by their Creator God. Our will determines what we will do. It is potentially the most powerful part of our being. With it we determine whether we will like or dislike a particular food, person, activity or way of life. We also make a decision as to what we are going to do, specifically, with our time, our energy, our interests and our gifts or talents. Our most important decisions are made by our will. God has given us freedom to choose. The most important decision we will ever make is whether we are going to either accept Jesus' pardon for our sins and inherit eternal life or whether we will reject His marvellous gift and then travel on our own path way to eternal damnation.
Be Willing to Receive Your Healing
This information is so important for every born again Christian, indeed, for everyone to know. This wonderful fact is that God's healing power is a vital part of His salvation package for mankind. We read about this wonderful healing power of the Lord in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5. The stripes that were laid on Jesus' back, when He went to the Cross at Calvary, were the very blows that identified His healing powers. This was for the sake of all who were, are and will be willing to believe. Further confirmation of the Lord's healing power is demonstrated in Matthew chapter 4 verses 23 and 24. Jesus healed multitudes of people, of every type of sickness and pain as well as casting out demons who were causing much of their sickness. Healing is available to all who are willing to believe and receive the Lord's healing power for their sicknesses and diseases.
Receive the Blessing of Forgiveness
Satan has bound up the minds and spirits of so many people, even Christians. This is often because of their unwillingness to forgive other people their lies and deceits and even their unintended mistakes against them. Forgiving others is such an important part of the salvation package. We can become bitter and spiritually stunted in our growth, as mature Christians, if we are not willing to forgive. We learn from Matthew chapter 18 verses 21 and 22 how vital it is to forgive! Peter asked Jesus how many times should a person forgive someone else. The Lord replied that they should be willing to forgive seventy times seven. This amazing answer equals four hundred and ninety times. In reality forgiveness has no limits. Always be willing to forgive. Unforgiveness will impede your healing, affect your personality, your character and certainly your own ability to forgive. The question is: are you willing to forgive?
Believe You Will Receive
We do not understand the miraculous work of our complete redemption, no our complete healing but we are not told to understand everything about God and what He has done for us. However, we are told to believe His word, the Holy Bible and believe all He has done for us. All we must do is believe it and receive it! It is mandatory that we are willing to believe God's word if we are going to receive His spiritual and material blessings. We learn, by reading Mark chapter 11 verses 23 and 24, that if we are willing to believe, we will receive. No doubt about it! It is imperative to believe that God's word is true and infallible. However, if you will believe and not doubt then everything that is God's will and purposes, will come to pass. Jesus teaches His children that everyone who constantly has faith in Him and His word will receive the best possible blessings from God. Whoever believes and says to the mountains or seeming insoluble problems in their life, when they believe, these problems will be thrown into the proverbial sea. You must not doubt in your spirit and you must earnestly believe that what you say will come to pass. As you keep believing, in line with God's word, it always will do so. In all situations it must be according to God's will and purposes for your life, not someone else's. It will come to pass, because, as you believe, you have God's confidence in you to receive His blessings. Always remember, you must be expectant and be willing to receive.
Receive Your Empowerment for Service
The early church, in obedience to the Lord's instructions, met together to receive the special endowment of the Holy Spirit, upon their lives. This was in order to be able to carry out God's will and purposes. Then came the glorious day of Pentecost. When the church of the Living God, was founded through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, each person, gathered together, received this amazing endowment. We read about this mighty happening from Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 12. From Pentecost onwards came the birth of the New Testament church. It came with its overcoming and miraculous power through the Holy Spirit and has continued down throughout almost 2,000 years. Today, on earth, there are hundreds of millions of Christian living on the six continents and many islands of the world. These people are receiving revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible and they are enabled to overcome the evil actions of the world, the flesh and the devil. Tens of millions speak in angelic tongues and many of them are given interpretation and understanding of prophecies and tongues. Many of these people are gifted to interpret by direct revelation of meanings given to their recreated spirit. These people attend churches of many Christian denominations. They are willing to listen to what the Lord tells them and are able to be a blessing to many other Christians. Sometimes these messages are given in their native tongues as well as in heavenly languages. This outpouring of the Holy Spirit is for all born again people who are willing to accept this wonderful impartation from God's throne.
Always Be Willing to Receive God's Blessings
God's word gives us wonderful insight into receiving the bountiful blessings as recorded in James chapter 1 verse 5. If anyone lacks wisdom to be able to make a wise decision, in whatever circumstance, they are to ask their benevolent God what is the right thing to do. All who are willing to do so, will receive from God, who gives generously to all who ask Him. They also believe that not only is He able to do so but that He is also willing to provide graciously and mightily for them. Don't blame God for not receiving. He is always willing to help all His children, who ask Him, believing they will receive God's perfect provision.
Believers Will Receive/ Not Doubters.
Further on in James chapter 1 verses 6 and 7 we read about those who doubt that God will be able to provide for them. For all who receive they must believe that God will always help all who believe in Him and His word. These people live by faith, not in themselves but in the faith of God. Those who don't really believe are likened to a billowing wave or a surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed in any direction by the wind or current circumstances. These people will not receive from God because their faith is not in God and His word but is rather in themselves or other people or their current circumstances. Rather than believing by faith their prayers or petitions are based upon groundless fluctuations of their mind.
How to Receive
To always be able to receive you must be willing to develop a strong fellowship with the Lord. You must also be willing to love and forgive other people. Keep on praying to the Father in Jesus' name, by interceding for the lost, by praying for specific people in the body of Christ and seeking God's will and purposes for your own life. When you follow God's will for your life always be willing to be obedient to the directions of the Holy Spirit, which are always in agreement with God's word, the Holy Bible. Be willing to study and learn from God's word, on a daily basis. Have regular fellowship with fellow believers. Learn the word, read and meditate upon the word, confess and apply the word to all your life situations. Are you really ready to receive from the Lord? If you are a diligent worshipper of the Lord, I believe you are ready to receive! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Seek the Lord
How important it is to seek after or look towards the Lord? This we learn from Deuteronomy chapter 4 verse 29. Israel were to seek the Lord, only. In doing so they would soon find Him for He is not very far away from every human being. Christians are especially blessed because the Lord lives in their inner being, their real spiritual self. Those who search for Him will find Him. We are to long after and search for Him and His ways, with all our spirit and soul. Those who are already born again can find the Lord and His ways through learning verses from His word, the Holy Bible and by reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying His word, everyday.
Our Hiding Place and Strength
How important it is for us to realise that our God is an ever present source of shelter and our strength. This we read from Psalm 46 verse 1. His wisdom is gained from reading His word and from obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit. He is always ready to help us in our type of trouble or distress and is the greatest asset to any Christian's life. Always He can give us revelation knowledge of God's word and aid us to overcome in any kind of trouble or turmoil that the devil and his demons as well as the flesh and the world, try to enslave us with.
Keeping On Seeking His Help
We are encouraged to seek the Lord and His help from Amos chapter 5 verses 4 to 6, 14 and 15. Always diligently seek the Lord, with a consistent effort, on a daily basis. It is more important to seek the lord than even your daily food requirements. This enables a person to thrive and really live. We must long for His presence of peace and righteousness. It is not only necessary but vital for your spiritual well being and survival. The idolatrous flames of Bethel can only be quenched by the Lord. How much the church, today, needs His constant revival! We must seek the Lord so that we can keep on overcoming evil with His goodness. Christians must abhor all forms of evil and embrace His wonderful goodness and establish justice, not only in the church but also in godly families and civil institutions such as government, the court systems of our land and also educational establishments. We are to seek the fulfilment of God's grace upon our life, all the time! Interceding in prayer and speaking in tongues will help the job to get completed.
Serve Your Real Master
Each one of us must be willing to serve our own true master, the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew chapter 6 verse 24 makes an emphatic call, for all true Christians, to serve the Lord: Him only are we to serve! Those who are not born again often dislike those who are in control of their work situation or other circumstances not realising that Christians receive their directions from the Lord. Those who love the Lord must always make an effort to serve and care about others. It is paramount that Christians obey the Lord and do what He requires them to do. However, Christians can never serve Satan and his evil ways and also, at the same time, obey and serve the Lord and world directions, where they are contrary to God's word. We cannot follow the world's ways or even the ways of our own mind and truly serve the Lord. Christians must not follow that which is evil but that which is good. Always serve God and never be caught in the crossfire of those situations which destroy your Christian conduct or God's power working in you, as a child of God.
Christians Will Be Persecuted
Those that love the Lord will be persecuted for their beliefs. John chapter 15 verses 20 and 21 tells us why this is so. As they persecuted Jesus they will also persecute His born again followers. Servants of the Lord are not greater than their Master, the Lord Jesus Christ. They will say and do hurtful things to you because they don't know how much Jesus loves them, even those who reject Him. Because we bear the wonderful name of Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we will be rejected or insulted as a result of our devotion to Him and His righteous word, the Holy Bible. These people do not acknowledge Jesus as being the only Son of God. They are blinded to who Jesus is because of the lies and deceptions of Satan, which they have falsely believed. They live in the kingdom of Satan's eternal darkness!
Seek God's Victory
The Holy Spirit will help when we do not know what to pray for or how to pray. We learn about seeking the Holy Spirit's help from Romans chapter 8 verse 26. The Holy Spirit knows our need and also how we are to pray about that need. He knows the best way for us to pray in interceding for others or when we need personal or family breakthroughs or even when we require mighty breakthroughs for the spiritual welfare for our city, state or nation. The Lord intercedes with sighs and groanings which are much deeper than our words can convey. If we are patient and wait on the Lord He will always give us His marvellous victory.
Jesus Humbled Himself
We learn about the greatness of Jesus' great humility from Philippians chapter 2 verses 6 to 11. He obeyed His Father's will and purposes becoming obedient to His death on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus Christ so humbled Himself that God the Father highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name. Every knee that is in heaven or in hell or on earth must bow before His name in total submission. Many have already bowed the knee to Him but most have not, as yet, done so. However, every created human, angelic and demonic being, will have to, one day, bow, acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ is the sovereign God, to the honour and glory of the Father. Every true Christian has already humbled himself before the Lord Jesus Christ and will continue to do so, because that is their heart's desire.
Focus Your Life on Jesus
Every person that has made it their goal, in their earthly life, to focus on Jesus and His word, has surely tried to put first the Lord, in their life. We read about these faithful people, who have done so, from Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 to 8. They have been willing to discard unnecessary weights and sins that so easily and craftily, beset the entire human race. This has happened as the result of the deceptions to the human spirit and soul, caused by the flesh, the world and the devil. Through consistent learning and reading of God's word, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word they have become victors through Christ in them, and are pursuing the eternal hope of glory. They eagerly participate in the righteous race set before them. These people are also mightily aided by consistent obedience to the Holy Spirit's directions and are full of constant praise to their Creator and Redeemer. Their attention is focused on Jesus who is the almighty Author and Perfecter, through faith, of their eternal victory. Jesus disregarded the shame and pain of the Cross for the joy that was set before Him. We must do the same by following in His footsteps and be willing to endure the bitter hostility against us as a result of most of mankind's rejection of Jesus, as their Lord and Saviour. Those who diligently follow Him and His word, the Holy Bible, will suffer earthly rejection. We must not grow weary or lose heart. The end result is far greater than the insults and depredations, along the way. Remember, always seek God's will and purposes for the end result in heaven is so much more worth it than losing out through damnation in hell! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

Redemption from the Curse
Everyone who is not born again through repentance of their sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is under the curse of God's wrath which is against sin and disobedience. Those who are repentant are baptised by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ and become God's own chosen children. All who keep on abiding in God's word, the Holy Bible and also keep on obeying the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit, remain His sons and daughters for eternity. These people are no longer under the curse. All who are unwilling to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, remain under God's judgement and therefore, under His curse.
Under the Curse
Everyone who does not fulfil the law of Moses, keeping them as their rule for life, are under the curse. This we learn from Deuteronomy chapter 27 verse 26. It wasn't that the laws of Moses, given by God on Mount Sinai, were bad. However, it was too hard for people, to keep. For the Jews the law remained like a schoolmaster, to bring them back to God. It always reminded them that they were sinners because they, having a sinful nature, were constantly convicted of being sinners. They remained captive to sin and their sins were only covered and were never forgiven. Their sins were covered from God's sight by animal sacrifices and temple rituals, carried out by the current High Priest of the time.
Job Knew His Redeemer
Job was a wonderful worshipper of God Jehovah, possibly alive even before Abraham. We read from Job chapter 19 verse 25 that Job worshipped his Vindicator and Redeemer. He knew that the Lord lived and heard and answered his prayers. Even though Job lost his whole family and his great possessions, he believed that God would see him through his great disaster and grief and would enable him to be vindicated and raised to a place of God's honour, once again. Not only that, but that he would witness his Redeemer, Jesus Christ, stand upon the earth, along with all who were born again by the Holy Spirit of God. He, as well as those, who believe in God and His mighty works, know that God is the mighty I Am, the First and the Last.
Our Redeemer Is Victorious
We read and learn how wonderfully victorious is our Redeemer from Jeremiah chapter 50 verse 34. Our God is the Lord of Hosts well able to destroy all the wicked and evil plots of the flesh, the world and the devil. He pleads our case before God's throne, along with all of His children, who willingly love and serve Him. He will bring rest to their land and to wherever they dwell. This rest, in Him, will include freedom from warfare, plagues, fires, pestilences, famine, drought and all forms of want and need, for those who believe. His children, who honour Him and his ways and walk in His word, will also be free from fear, doubt and unbelief and will be able to overcome Satan and his demons and all their evil schemes and tactics.
Your Redemption Is Near
As we live and walk out our Christian life, down here on earth, we are told to look up for our redemption is very near. This we are encouraged to do when we read Luke chapter 21 verse 28. The world today is in constant turmoil and upheaval. There are many major climactic natural events taking place on an unprecedented scale. Frequent heavy rains and floods are now occurring in the most unlikely places. Earthquakes are more common and disastrous droughts and bushfires devastate food supplies as well as the natural environment. Society is in a constant state of flux and in many cities of the world it is fraught with increasing violent crime. What has been the normal status quo of life is now threatened. People are turning away from God's truth and even querying the natural order of the male and female genders. As these increasing and ungodly events more and more shape the lives of many people, Christians are encouraged to look to Jesus, in a greater measure, for their redemption from the wickedness caused by the flesh, the world and the devil. This redemption is becoming closer for everyone who is a born again child of God.
We Must Live by Faith
As we read Galatians chapter 3 verse 13 we learn just how important it is that we learn to live by faith through God's word, the Holy Bible, rather than through our knowledge, gained through past experiences. We must never just rely on our own emotions or feelings or even the faith of another Christian. Living by faith in Jesus Christ, redeems us from our lack, our poor health and the low level of material prosperity, that comes to those that try to live only by law and their own ideas. We must be willing to prosper in the abundance of God's grace. Everyone who does not live by faith in Jesus Christ and the word of God remain under the curse that comes through trying to make your own way through your own prescribed rules or rules of other people who do not live under God's great grace. We all need help to live out our life on earth and that help is only available to us through faith in Jesus Christ, as our own personal Lord and Saviour.
Live in Your New Redemption
If you have truly accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then you are truly freed, through Christ's blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary. We learn this vital fact from Titus chapter 2 verse 14. The Lord willingly gave up His life for our eternal redemption. He purchased our redemption from all the wickedness and darkness of this world so that He could purify and enable His chosen people to be cleansed. These people would acknowledge that they were sinners, in need of redemption. These people willingly surrendered their lives to God's will and purposes for them so that they could accept forgiveness of their sins and gain the incredible but most precious gift of eternal life.
Live in Empowered Redemption
All of God's children can, throughout their life on earth, live in His resurrection and redemptive power. Each day set aside time to have fellowship with Him through prayer and through His word. Spend quality time, not necessarily excessive minutes and hours but the time that God has given you to make available for Him. Each day, try to rise early so that you give God the best and freshest time of your day. Listen to the Holy Spirit and obey His instructions for your life as well as the revelation knowledge as He unfolds the word of God to you. Intercede in prayer, as the Holy Spirit leads you to pray for your own personal circumstances or for a marriage partner or family, relatives, friends, your work place situations and even local, national and international events. Try to learn one verse of scripture a day or as time permits. Keep on reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to your circumstances. Never give up but keep on prevailing for your victory is assured! You have been redeemed from the curse unto everlasting life! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Judge Yourself - blog 328 - June 1st 2024]]>Sat, 01 Jun 2024 04:47:55 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/judge-yourself-blog-328-june-1st-2024Picture
First Judge Yourself
Everyone and particularly born again children of God, must be willing to judge themselves before they judge their fellow brothers and sisters. This means judge your thoughts, your speech and your actions. Is what you are thinking or saying or doing according to God's plan and purposes for your life as revealed by the Holy Spirit to your spirit and also according to God's word, the Holy Bible? If not, then be willing to obey the directions of the Holy Spirit and begin changing your lifestyle, in line with God's plan for your life. In some cases it may require a turn of 180 degrees or an about turn and with others only a slight adjustment needs to be made. You must let your redeemed spirit rule your life rather than your mind with its often emotional fluctuations and never your body with all its fleshly issues.
Don't Judge Others
It is so important not to criticise or judge other people, unfairly. Only God knows all and therefore only He can make an accurate and holy judgement of a person. We read how vital this is from Matthew chapter 7 verses 1 to 5. We are not to make unrighteous decisions or judgements. No human being wants to be judged unfairly. If any unrepentant person judges another person they will also be judged unfairly, by other people. Often people are guilty of judging another person upon insignificant details such as what they wear, how their hair is cut or wherever they go or spend their time or money. Don't try to remove the speck in your understanding of others, while you regard important moral or social issues in your own life, as not being very important. When you do so you become a hypocrite or at least an actor. Get your own self right before correcting another's attitudes or behaviour. If you are willing to live a life according to the Holy Spirit's directions and the word of God, the Holy Bible, you will become more able to help others to get their lives in line with God's will and purposes for them.
Don't Judge Another Person's Faith
Usually, young Christians are weak in faith because it takes time to read, learn, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to your every day life situations. The more diligent people are, on a daily basis and the more soundly they are taught, the stronger their faith will become. We must accept younger and weaker Christians into a personal and church relationship, as speedily as is possible. This we learn when reading Romans chapter 14 verses 1 to 12. In our eating habits some may regard not eating certain foods as very important while another person's conscience may allow them to eat anything that they desire. We are not to quarrel with them over such matters nor look down upon them. All who truly love the Lord will be able to live securely in the Lord's ways for themselves. Some people regard one day as being more spiritually important than another day while others regard all days to be spiritually important and others not even particularly important at all. Any day that we regard as being spiritually important must be one that we highly regard, as an opportunity, for worshipping the Lord. None of us lives for our own benefit but rather to please the Lord and to help other people. Whether we live or lie down our life for others, it must always be to honour the Lord. Never regard a believing brother or sister with contempt, because Christ died for all who believe in Him, as their Lord and Saviour. One day, everyone will stand before the Judge of the whole earth. Always live to obey and please the Lord and to honour other people. Each one will have to give an account of himself before the Lord.
We Have the Mind of Christ
All born again blood bought children of God have been given upon giving their life to the Lord and gaining eternal life, have the understanding and discernment, of the mind of Christ. In order to be able to do so they must be diligent in reading God's word and obeying the Holy Spirit's directions. We learn this when we read 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 15. The spiritually mature Christian is able to judge all situations and circumstances because the Holy Spirit is able to reveal, to every diligent believer, the true details of the situation at hand. However, all unbelievers, cannot judge the true knowledge of God nor understand the believer's spiritual nature. Why? They are blinded by the deceit and darkness of Satan's lies and they cannot understand the things of God for they are only spiritually discerned.
You Must Judge Yourself
In 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verses 30 to 32 we read about the necessity of Christians evaluating their own spiritual condition including their understanding and their real motives. We must not be careless or act unworthily in our Christian life and in particular, when partaking of communion, in our own home or with fellow believers, during a church service. If we participate, without a true realisation of Christ's death and resurrection and a real understanding of its significance for ourselves and the body of Christ, we can allow judgement to come upon our lives. If we are willing to correctly evaluate our thoughts, speech and actions, which includes our shortcomings and our behaviour, we will not be judged. When we are judged and disciplined by the Lord and accept His righteous corrections, we will not be condemned to eternal punishment, along with all the unsaved of the world.
We Are Being Constantly Cleansed
Not judging others is a constant, daily, process. When reading 1 John chapter 1 verse 9 we are made aware of the necessity of the constant cleansing power of Christ's blood, for all who believe. As the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgement, we must, of our own volition, be willing to admit to God's righteousness and confess our sins. Sometimes it is what we would call our little sins that can often stand in the way of leading on to greater works, in the Lord. He is always faithful and just to forgive us our sins when we willingly repent and turn away from those things that are causing us to stumble and fall. Everything that is not in conformity with His will and purposes for our life, must be surrendered to Him, so that we are able to live purified lives in Christ, to the honour and glory of our Father, in heaven.
Always Be Willing to Change
When we obey the Holy Spirit's directions, in line with God's word, the Holy Bible, we are truly making adjustments to our life so that we are becoming the sanctified child of God that the Lord desires us to be. It may be changes to our thoughts so that they are purified by the blood of Jesus Christ. It could also well be changes to our speech so that instead of offending or humiliating other people we seek to uplift their spirit and their mind. There is no doubt that we may have to further rid ourselves of poor body habits including those that relate to our eating too much or drinking liquids that are harmful to our well being. It could well be making a determined effort to humble ourselves before the Lord and before our fellow Christians or even our neighbours. In being willing to make these changes we are putting to death the desires of the flesh, the world and the devil. Our choice, in life, is to portray, to others, that we are going to live Christ like lives! Keep on judging yourself and you won't be under God's judgement but rather His righteousness and commendation, will reign! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. There Is a Resurrection

Many people in the world, today, do not believe in the resurrection of the dead. Their belief is like the Jewish sect of the Sadducees, of old. We read about their lack of belief in Acts chapter 23 verse 8a. However, there is a mighty resurrection that will take place for all. The spirit or real person of a Christian, who has died, physically, has already been resurrected.
Spiritually, all true Christians, were resurrected when Christ arose from the dead and they are already seated with Him, at the right hand of God the Father. For those Christians who are alive, at this moment, on earth, this will be a future event but their spirit person has already been resurrected when they repented of their sins and made Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lord and Saviour of their life.

Two Resurrections
There is a future time coming when every Christian who has died or is still alive will hear God's voice and will live. This we read from John chapter 5 verses 25 to 29. God the Father and Jesus, God the Son, are always self existent for they have eternal life in themselves. God the Father has given authority to God the Son, to execute judgement over all of mankind. Those whose bodies are in graves will hear the Lord's voice. His children, those who have done righteous things, will be raised unto new eternal life. Those who have done evil things will be sentenced to eternal damnation, in hell. The resurrection of eternal life is for those who have repented of their sins and have accepted their salvation and the gift of eternal life. All who have rejected will also be resurrected but only to be judged and to suffer for their sins, eternally, in hell.
Raised to Eternal Life
It is God the Father's purpose that everyone who comes to know about Jesus and believes in Him, will gain the gracious gift of eternal life. Those that repent from their sins and truly believe in Him, will be raised from the dead on the last day and will gain eternal life. This we read in John chapter 6 verse 40. However, no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws him. The Father knows the spirit or heart of everyone who has a desire to come to Jesus. These are the people who are raised up from the dead, on the last day. We learn about this from John chapter 6 verse 44.
Die to Self to Rise in Christ.
Believers learn about dying to the old self in order to live in Christ when they read Romans chapter 6 verses 5 to 11. As we are willing to die more to selfish desires and ambitions, we become more like Jesus. We die to self and are then raised, with Him and we then are resurrected, to live, like Him. Our old human nature, our real person or self, has been nailed to the Cross. This is in order that our body, of sinful flesh, will decrease and that our inner person becomes more godlike and no longer a slave to our passions and desires. Everyone, who is truly surrendered to the Lord, no longer remains a slave of sin. We have died with Christ and we also know and believe that we will be raised with Him. Those who are raised with Christ will no longer die spiritually, because eternal death, as the penalty of sin, will have no more dominion over us. Jesus conquered sin and those who have died with Him will no longer have a sinner's debt because they have been raised to new life, in Him. Consider yourself to be dead to sin and alive, in Him, to eternal righteousness.
The Order of Resurrection
We read about the order of resurrection from 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 20 to 26. Jesus Christ is raised in resurrection power as the first fruit of resurrection. He is raised with an immortal, incorruptible body, as will all true believers, also be raised. Death came into the world, in the Garden of Eden, through Adam, the first human. In Christ, all true believers, will be made alive. All these blood bought believers will be raised with immortal, incorruptible bodies, when Christ returns. Jesus will then hand over His body of believers, to His Father, when He has abolished every earthly ruler, authority and power. When He has put all His enemies, under His feet, He will then reign as King, over all, under His Father. Jesus Christ will have abolished death, forever.
Knowing the Resurrection Power
Christians will attain to His resurrection by living as Christ lived, on earth. This we read from Philippians chapter 3 verses 10 to 12. We are to have daily fellowship with the Lord through our constant prayer life and through the directions of the Holy Spirit. It is also so important to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to all our life situations. Paul pressed onwards to attain the things and the blessings that God had created for his every day life. The Lord had laid His hands upon Paul's life just as He does the same, for every born again child of His. How much we must appreciate His glorious power, in our life, as we triumphantly overcome the flesh, the world and the devil through His mighty resurrection power, in us.
Seek the Eternal Things
Each one of us must long for and reach out for the things of God such as love, hope, faith, truth, joy and righteousness, which are to make us desire that which is above our ordinary, earthly, lifestyle. This information becomes prominent to our spirit when we read and meditate upon Colossians chapter 3 verses 1 to 5.When we were first born again we were resurrected or raised up, into a new life with Christ. We are to seek the things from above where Christ is seated with God the Father and we are also seated with Him. Everyday we must focus upon God and His eternal things as we are directed by the Holy Spirit and by God's word, the Holy Bible. Don't concentrate on earthly things which have no eternal value. Each born again Christian has died to earthly and worldly values because their life is now hidden, with Christ, in God. The Lord is our very life source and we shall be like Him when He comes for each one of us. Put to death and deprive the evil lusts of the flesh with its sensual, self centred instincts. You have died to immorality and sinful passions and greed. Such things are a form of selfish idolatry which endeavours to replace your devotion to God and His word.
We Are Now Possessors of Resurrection Power
When we read and meditate upon 1 John chapter 5 verses 11 to 13 we begin to realise that we are already risen and are possessors of His resurrection power. The resurrection life of Jesus and all that this power implies is right now part of our eternal blessings. We have spiritual completeness and companionship, in Him. Everyone who has Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit, have the Trinity living in them, right now. Those who do not have the personal understanding and faith of Jesus, in their lives, remain spiritually, dead. John, the Apostle, wrote to God's children that they would know for certain, that they would have the absolute knowledge that they have eternal, resurrected life in Him, right now. It is so important that every born again believer has this same understanding in their spirit and also in their soul, right now!

Listen to the Holy Spirit
Every born again Christian must train their spirit to listen to the wisdom and instructions of their teacher and guide, the Holy Spirit. The person of the Holy Spirit has been sent by the Lord to train and help God's children, to avoid the pitfalls of the fallen world in which every human being physically lives. We are to learn to avoid and overcome the relentless obstacles and lies promoted by the flesh, the world and the devil. In themselves no person is smart enough or knowledgeable enough, to conquer evil. Remember, the Holy Spirit, is your most important helper, as well as your Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener and Standby. He is the greatest aid you will ever know.
Our Born Again Spirit
No person can change their sinful nature without repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour. The prophet Ezekiel prophesied of the need of the change, of our spirit. We read about this from Ezekiel chapter 18 verses 30 and 31. First we must repent and be willing to change our old ways of thinking and furthermore turn away from our old sinful past. We must not let our old sinful ways remain a stumbling block, that interferes with our new life, in Christ. When we repent our spirit or inner person, is recreated by the Holy Spirit. However, our soul, that is our will, our mind and emotions are to be fed by the word of God, the Holy Bible. Those who do so will rejoice and prosper in the new life the Lord has given them. They are and have become eternal God centred children, who have inherited His eternal life.
The Holy Spirit Contacts Our Spirit
In Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27 we are told that our recreated spirit is the lamp or the light of the Lord. The Holy Spirit searches through all the inner depths of our very being. Through the Holy Spirit's recreation of our spirit God dwells in our spirit. He is able to inform us of the truth of things, spiritual, as well as about people and anything that we need to know, in our earthly realm. Our very own conscience can hear the voice of our spirit. Always listen carefully and obey what your spirit tells you, for it is the real truth that God knows that we need to know.
The Baptism of Jesus
We read in Mark chapter 1 verses 9 to 11 that Jesus was baptised by John the Evangelist or Baptist, in the Jordan River. He was then empowered for God the Father's service by the Holy Spirit, who descended upon Him like a dove, from His Father's throne in heaven. Then came the mighty enthroning for Jesus' earthly service. The Father from heaven stated, that Jesus was His beloved Son and that He was well pleased and delighted with His obedience to God's will and purposes. So must we be, likewise, a similar delight and bring pleasure for the service God has created and commissioned us to do.
Our Mighty Helper
Jesus tells each of us about our mighty Helper and how He guides and protects us. This we learn from John chapter 14 verses 16 and 17. The Lord asked His Father to send the wonderful Holy Spirit, the real Spirit of Truth, to live in the spirit of all born again children, that were being made perfect. He would first help them in every situation in life including where they were to live, who they were to marry and what ministry unto the Lord and His people, they were to fulfil. As our Helper the Holy Spirit, would also be our Comforter, who would be well able to sustain us in every situation we confront in our life. He would also be our Advocate, well able to plead our righteous case before the Father's throne. The Holy Spirit would also intercede for others, as our Intercessor, on our behalf. He would not only intercede before God's throne in heaven but also in any situation that threatened to overwhelm us, while living on earth. When Christians lack proper or incorrect understanding of their health or finances or personal relationships, the Holy Spirit would give their spirit the wisdom of God, so that they would know exactly what to do. He will also be your Strengthener, in order to strengthen your spirit and so would be well able to help you to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. When we need that extra anointing or understanding of the mighty power of God, in our affairs, He is always available, as our Standby, to help us to victoriously overcome. We must diligently consult with the Holy Spirit in every circumstance and in every time of need. Don's just go ahead and do your own thing but rather always be obedient, to the directions of the Holy Spirit. Always listen to Him For He always knows the right answer.
The Holy Spirit Is Your Teacher
The Holy Spirit also known as the Parakletos, is the true teacher of God's word, the Holy Bible. If we are willing to have His help He will teach us concerning everything we need to know, particularly, about God and His ways. We can gain this information from John chapter 14 verse 26. He not only will teach us but will also bring to our remembrance the things we have learnt but have often forgotten. He will also give you new information or understanding about any new passage that you read or have read in the past. Note this very well: the Holy Spirit is not just an influence but He is the third person of the Holy Trinity of God.
They Also Spoke in Heavenly Tongues
From Acts chapter 19 verses 1 to 6 we read about another twelve disciples who had previously repented of their sins, under the ministry of John the Baptist. However, they subsequently, have never heard of the baptism or infilling of the Holy Spirit. These faithful disciples, evidently, did not know about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost but they were willing to listen to Paul's preaching. When Paul had finished instructing them, concerning the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they received it and were baptised again, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul laid his hands on them and the Holy Spirit came down upon them and they began speaking in unknown heavenly tongues and also began to prophesy.
Keep on Being Guided by the Holy Spirit
Every day keep seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance, particularly, when you know you need help. In listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit's instructions you prove to yourself and others, that you are a chosen child of God. Always, in conjunction with the Holy Spirit's leading; keep learning, keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to every aspect of your daily life. Keep on praying in tongues and in your native language, listening to the Holy Spirit as He gives you utterance and His wisdom. Make it a daily habit to keep praising the Lord for His goodness. There is no real understanding like that which comes from the throne of God!

It Must Be Death
It is so important for all born again blood bought believers to put to death the fears and anxieties and disastrous thoughts as well as the deceitful speech of the old person. The sins of our fleshly past must not remain alive to hold us in bondage. After all we are free from the chains of the flesh, the world and the devil. We have our freedom through the resurrection power of Christ, working mightily through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible. It is imperative that we put to death everything that chains us to our past and embrace the fullness of Christ in us and His power available to us through His wonderful glory!
Raised in Newness of Life
We learn from Romans chapter 6 verses 1 to 7 about our wonderful newness of life, in Christ. Each Christian must put to death their old wilful thoughts and evil practices. Born again people have been baptised with Christ into His death and raised with Him to new resurrection life, by the Father. As His children we are to habitually live in His newness of life in us. We have become one with Christ in His glory and power. Our old nature, has been transformed through the recreation of the Holy Spirit and it has been nailed to the Cross of Calvary in order that our old body of sin can be destroyed. Christians are no longer slaves of sin but are partakers of Christ's righteousness. Children of God have been completely freed from the power of sin. Because Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and we were also raised when He was raised, sin has no more power over a child of God.
Your Old Crucified Self
Galatians chapter 2 verse 20 tells us that our old self, with all its carnal thoughts and practices, has been crucified with Christ. As born again believers our old self is no longer alive. This is our old inner person or our spirit. We no longer live only as a flesh being because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lives in our spirit. Remember, God is a spirit. As children of God we live completely trusting in Him and His wonderful love for us.
Declared Free of Guilt
Every born again Christian has been declared free of the penalty of their sins, according to Galatians chapter 3 verses 24 to 26. We now have been justified as righteous through the blood shed, by Christ, on the Cross. All true believers have been declared righteous before the throne of God, the Father, in heaven. In our new life we now live by faith in and through God's word and are completely free from the law of Moses because it has been fulfilled in Christ's resurrection. God's children are all renewed from above. They are spiritually set apart for God's plans and purposes, with full rights and privileges, for evermore, in Christ.
Put Off Your Old Nature
In order to put off the old nature we need great and vital help. This occurs through daily communicating through the Holy Spirit, with the Lord, in prayer. We must learn and recite God's word, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all your daily situations. We learn about putting off the old person from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 22 to 24. Discard your former way of living – your old thoughts and ideas – your old vulgar speech and your deceitful actions. Over the years you were corrupted through Satan's lies and deceptions. The purposes of God and His word, the Holy Bible, must take precedence over the old way. Our spirit has already been renewed by the Holy Spirit. However we must renew our mind, our will and our emotions, through a diligent study and acceptance of the things of God, rather than continuing to live in the realm of the flesh, the world and the devil.
Put On the New Self
We learn about the importance of putting on and daily walking in the new self from Colossians chapter 3 verses 1 to 10. As children of God we all have thoughts, speech or actions, including poor fleshly habits that when put under the light of God's word, are not very helpful or can even be quite bad for us to continue with. In order for us to be able to do so it is important for us to habitually, that is every day, focus on the things of God's word. These are the things and the ways of God and instruct us in the manner that we are to carry out God's will and purposes, in our life. Those who follow God's plan fulfil the goals that they were created for. We must exclude concentrating on the things of our flesh and the world. Our life is now hidden in Christ's life for we have crucified our old life and must be dead to self. When the Lord appears to take us home to glory, we shall be like Him. We put to death the sensual cravings which includes immorality, impurity, evil desire and greed. These things are idolatry because we often put our fleshly and worldly life before our desire to obey and worship the Lord. God's wrath comes upon all those who do their own thing and are children of disobedience. These people routinely disobey God's way and even try to change His natural laws. Every born again person once lived in these evil ways. You must rid yourself of the wicked emotions of anger, rage, malice, hate, slander and no longer continue in abusive and vulgar language. Every Christian must not lie or be deceitful for we are to strip off the old person who practised these evil ways. It is now time for us to put on the new recreated person who allows themselves to be continually renewed by the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible. In doing so we enable ourselves to be entirely renewed in the likeness of God, Himself.
Teach God's Truth
Christians learn how to recognise the voice of the Holy Spirit when they read 1 John chapter 4 verses 2 to 6. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and that He is God/man has their source of knowledge from God, the Father. Every spirit that denies that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, is not of God but is the spirit of antichrist. This lack of spiritual knowledge is very present in this end time, sinful age. All believers belong to God and are able, through God's spirit abiding in them, to overcome the flesh, the world, the devil and his evil agents, such as demons and wicked people. Many evil or misguided people, teach the twisted doctrine of devils, even from some so called Christian pulpits. Their knowledge is founded on immoral freedom and baseless fleshly theories. They ridicule the values of the upright and unfortunately the gullible world listens and pays attention to their foolish understanding. The believers still teach God's truth through the energising power of the Holy Spirit. Those who know their God listen and are in agreement with what is preached and taught about God's righteousness. In this way believers know the Spirit of Truth, motivated by God and the spirit of error motivated, by Satan.
Be Continually Clothed in His Righteousness
Every day put on the new person, very early in the day, as soon as you awaken. Learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all your daily situations. Keep praying and interceding of behalf of yourself, your family and other people. Always listen to and obey the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Now is your time to put on the new person and to keep on continually doing so! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[What Is the New Birth?- Blog 324 -May 4th 2024]]>Sat, 04 May 2024 06:01:40 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/what-is-the-new-birth-blog-324-may-4th-2024Picture
Are You Born Again
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and have repented of your sins then you are born again as a new creature. You are now a believer and a saint of Almighty God. You have become a new creation who has already inherited eternal life. You are no longer, spiritually, the same person who was born from a human womb, as a baby, birthed with a sinful nature. Upon accepting Jesus Christ you have become born again and now your old Adamic nature, had been born again. You have been recreated as a new spiritual being that has, from that moment on, been justified to live with God the Father, for eternity.
Born Again from Above
Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin, the ruling body of the Jewish council. He came to Jesus in the night time and asked how a person could be born again. He acknowledged that Jesus was a special rabbi or teacher, sent by God. Only someone that was obeying God could perform the marvellous signs and wonders, that Jesus did. This we read about from John chapter 3 verses 1 to 7. Jesus assured Nicodemus that a person must be born again; that is spiritually transformed by God, to be able to experience entry to the kingdom of heaven. Nicodemus then inquired of Jesus, how a person could be born again when they were old. They certainly could not reenter their mother's womb! People have to be reborn through the Holy Spirit and cleansed by Christ's shed blood, in order to enter God's kingdom. To be born again means that your inner person or spirit, your real person, has been recreated. Everything is born physically, remains physical. Only those, whose spirit is born again, are recreated a spiritual being, able to enter God's presence.
Everyone Can Be Born Again
We learn such a wonderful truth, about all of God's human creation, when we read John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17. God, the Creator of everything and particularly every person, sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, into this fallen, sinful world to save all who are willing to believe in Him. They were then saved from their sins and were given eternal life. Although everyone deserved to be condemned to death, that is not the purpose for which Jesus came down to earth. His sole purpose was to save people from their sins and to give each one the incomparable gift of eternal life, in Him.
Believers Live In and Through Christ
Believers life in and through Jesus Christ. This becomes clear to our spirits and then it is realised by our mind ,when we read John chapter 17 verses 20 to 23. Jesus intercedes for His own children, before His Father's throne and also for those who will come to Him and believe His message of forgiveness. The Lord prays that all who follow Him and His word will become like Him and become as one with Him and our Father God. Jesus has given His children the glory and honour which the Father bestowed on His Son. The relationship is us as one in Christ, just as Christ is One, with His Father. God's children are becoming perfected and completed in the Lord. As we learn to live and love as Jesus lives and loves, the world will know that the Father, truly, has sent Jesus to save us and that the Father loves His children as much as He loves Jesus.
All Christians Are New Creations
How wonderful to learn from 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 that everyone who is born again, is a new creation! You are a brand new creature in Christ. Old things are gone, behold all things are now completely new. Your old thoughts and doubts have now passed away. Your thinking, your speech and what you do have been changed from doing Satan's mess and you now are in God's kingdom of love and light. Your desires are now to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling you and to be instructed from the word of God, the Holy Bible. This replaces your participating in the evil things of the flesh, the world and the devil. You have been delivered from darkness to light and from spiritual death in hell, with Satan, unto eternal life in heaven, with the Lord.
The New Birth Is a Transformation
A child of God is no longer a poor old self! They have become new creations in Christ; They are transformed from flesh centred beings to Christ centred beings. We learn this from reading Galatians chapter 6 verse 15. Circumcision was only for the Hebrews or Jews, under the Mosaic law. Any ritual by a Christian church, outside of the revelation knowledge, of God's word, is unnecessary and does not add nor detract from a person's salvation. Being born again was obtained by the acceptance of Christ's blood as the penalty for your sins and nothing else, other than your own personal repentance, is necessary for your eternal salvation. We become a new creation as a result of the new birth We are transformed new creatures in Christ.
You Are Set Apart
Every born again believer is set apart, through Jesus Christ, to carry out God's will and purposes in their life. This we read from 1 Peter chapter 1 verses 23 to 25. Our new life comes through the eternal, imperishable seed of Christ, Himself. We are no longer born of the perishable seed of the flesh, the world and the devil. God's children have become immortal beings indwelt by the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ, the everlasting word of God. All flesh is like grass which withers but those born of the word of God, endure forever. This is the word of salvation to those who were formerly lost.
Our Flesh Is Still Human
It is wonderfully true that our spirit has been renewed from above and that our real self, our inner person or spirit, has eternal life. However, our mind, will, emotions and our body can only be transformed from glory to glory, by the diligent application of God's word. It is so absolutely crucial that we learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our earthly circumstances. In our flesh we can and sometimes we do sin. However, we have a wonderful way to overcome. We learn about this from 1 John chapter 1 verses 7 and 8. Every believer must walk in the light of God's word, each and every day. Jesus is our light and if we follow in His footsteps, He with us and we with Him, we have unbroken fellowship with the Lord. When we repent of known sins we then have our fellowship restored with Him. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all our sins whether wilful or unintended. This must be an ongoing daily practice by us, individually. If we say we have no sin or mistakes in our life then that sin and its stain, remains to spoil our life. We can become deluded and even lie about our need of forgiveness. God's word, at that moment, is not living in our lives, as it should. We do not pray to become born again over and over again but rather that we can continue to live pure and sanctified lives. It is important that we keep living in Him and enjoying our new birth.

Worship the Lord
Mankind has been created by God to worship the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Everyone has a spiritual void that needs to be filled by the Holy Spirit and restored to true worship of the Lord with the revelation knowledge that is given by the Holy Spirit. We are able to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, as a true worshipper, by obeying God in every situation we face in life. We must make a special commitment to worship the Lord, according to His plan and purposes as we obey Him through our thoughts, our speech and our actions. To truly worship God we must develop our loving relationship with the Lord and with other people. This relationship must be in whatever situation or circumstance comes our way.
Worship Him As the Creator
We read the need about worshipping the Lord as our Creator from John chapter 1 verse 3. The Lord has created every person and every kind of land creature including all birds and all sea creatures. He formed all the mountains, rivers and valleys and all the plants that exist in every climate upon earth. He created all the chemical elements from which all things that exist are made. Jesus also created the sun, moon, planets, stars and heavenly constellations. Our God is the complete source and Creator of all things from which man shapes the materials and into the things, he makes for his earthly use. We are to bow down and worship the Lord for who He really is, in reverent and thankful praise and worship.
Lip Service Is Not Worship
Our worship must not be just from our lips but it must be from our heart, our spirit, our inner person. We read about the requirements for true worship from Isaiah chapter 29 verse 13. The real problem with most of the Israelites of old and with many so called Christians, today, is that they only give the Lord lip service and often don't obey His word. Our true worship must proceed from out hearts as well as our minds instead of what we just say or sing. Our reverence for the Lord is not based on family ties, church environment or our personal or social ideas. It must be real worship that desires to bring honour and glory to the Lord through Jesus' name. It must never be through a learned or a traditional form of worship. That is at best lip service or church procedural ideas.
Temptation in the Wilderness
Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness praying, fasting and seeking God's will and purposes. At the end of this period of fasting, Satan tried to take advantage of the Lord's hunger to try and deceive the Lord, into worshipping Him. We read about this in Matthew chapter 4 verse 9. Jesus told Satan that God alone was to be worshipped with reverence and profound respect. No person was allowed to bow down to Satan or any man made gods.
How and Where to Worship
Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and have truly repented of their sins are given the wonderful information of how and where they are to worship. We learn about this important information from John chapter 4 verses 20 to 24. The Samaritan lady recognised Jesus, as a true prophet, because Jesus was able to inform her about the marital details of her life, without any previous knowledge. He then proceeded to tell her that people from Samaria worshipped in their holy mountain. However, the Jews in Jerusalem, considered Mount Zion as the true place of worship. Jesus then told the woman that neither place would be the true place to worship God. It would no longer be just a geographical location, where people would worship, but all true worshippers of God would worship from their hearts, or inner persons, their real self. These people would worship in and through the work of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Holy Bible. Only those people, who are His true children, would worship God in spirit and in truth. They would be true worshippers of God.
Worshipping with Thanksgiving
Hebrews chapter 13 verse 15 tells us to worship the Lord with thanksgiving for all His great mercy and provision for ourselves and for all who worship Him in spirit and in truth. Christians need to develop a constant daily practice of worshipping the Lord for His wonderful goodness to them and to their family and fellow Christians It is important to give true worship and thankfulness from our hearts. Never should it be just a half hearted effort that we only exert through singing our favourite songs at our Sunday morning worship service. We need to make it our sacrifice of praise when things are going well as well as when things look tougher than normal. Constantly acknowledge the glory of who He really is and the truth of His mighty name!
God and His Glory
From Revelation chapter 4 verses 5 to 11 the Lord, through His word, reveals to His children on earth, just a glimpse of His wonderful heavenly glory. Before His throne were flashes of lightning and rumbling sounds of thunder. Seven lamps of God, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning before His throne. In front of the throne was a sea of crystal and in the centre were four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind. They resembled a lion, a calf, the face of a man and a flying eagle. Constantly they keep praising God. They repeat “holy, holy, holy, the Lord God omnipotent (all powerful!) the ruler eternally reigns”. He was, He is and forevermore, will be. The twenty four elders worship Him and throw down their crowns before Him. They give Him all glory, saying: “Worthy are you, Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things and because of your will they exist and were created and were brought into being!” How much must His children also acknowledge Him and worship Him as His true worshippers on earth.
Keep Worshipping the Lord
All true believers must worship Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, through their spirits, acknowledging that His word and the Holy Spirit, alone, reveal the truth of who He is. They can do this in their home with their marriage partner and with their family and with groups of other believers and with fellow Christians in their local church. They can do it by praying regularly and by learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to all their life situations and circumstances. Of course they can also witness and share God's word with other people as well as singing songs of praise and worship from the heart. All true believers must worship the Lord not only from their mind but primarily from their heart or inner spirit. Keep worshipping the Lord for this is the eternal purpose for which you were created!

<![CDATA[Be Like Jesus -Blog 322- April 20th 2024]]>Sat, 20 Apr 2024 04:50:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/be-like-jesus-blog-322-april-20th-2024Picture
To Be Like Jesus
To desire to be like Jesus means that the world, the flesh and the devil, must be put to the spiritual sword. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of God, must be our goal and guide in life. No one can ever be like Jesus unless they repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They must be a born again child of God, their Father, through the shed blood of the Lord, on the Cross of Calvary. Only those who truly aspire to walk in God's ways, as revealed in God's word, the Holy Bible, can ever become like Jesus.
You Must Love Others
To become like Jesus you must be willing to love other people. This is absolutely mandatory. Everyone; parents, siblings, friends, relatives, acquaintances and in fact anyone that we know, despite who they are, whether good or bad, or whatever they have done. We read about God's love in John chapter 15 verse 12. All genuine Christians must love other people with an unselfish love. They must seek what is best for others rather than just for themselves. Why is this so? It is because the Lord loves us and we are to learn to love as He loves us. We must allow our redeemed spirit and then our being redeemed mind to love others, as God loves us.
You Must Love God
We learn that our first and foremost love must always be for our God. Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5 informs us that we are to love the Lord, our God, with all our heart or spirit and with our soul; our mind, will and emotions and with all our bodily strength and actions. To do so it is imperative not to do our own thing but to listen and obey the Holy Spirit's directions and also to be willing to obey the counsels and wisdom contained in God's word, the Holy Bible.
We Must Obey God
Obedience to God's will and purposes, for God's children, is absolutely necessary. If laws are enacted by the state, which oppose God's word, then Christians have no other choice than to obey God rather than man. We learn of Peter's example in Acts chapter 5 verse 29. Having said that we must always obey the laws and regulations of the land, which do not oppose God's word, the Holy Bible. At the moment, in the majority of cases, these laws are for the good of people living in their own specific land.
Always Be Forgiving
Those people who truly love the Lord, must always be ready and willing to forgive others, as well as forgiving themselves, for mistakes and intended trespasses. Regarding this we are given clear instructions in Colossians chapter 3 verse 13. We must bear graciously with others and particularly our family members and our Christian brothers and sisters. It is important to willingly forgive each other no matter what the issue or complaint. Why? Because God has forgiven everyone, who is willing to receive the gift of eternal life. As God forgives us so must we forgive other people. Forgiveness is essential if a person desires to be like Jesus.
You Must Pray
There are many times, even daily, when we need to pray. Unfortunately, there can be many times when we become anxious and forget to pray. We need to make an important decision, as the occasion arises, to pray for our finances or for our failing health issues. What shall we always do? 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 17 gives us God's answer. Christians should always pray without ceasing. As they pray they should use God's word to guide them. Always learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to your prayers. God's word always gives confidence and assurance to the prayers that we offer. We will, undoubtedly, have God's wonderful answers to our prayers when we are obedient and strengthened through God's word.
Always Be Faithful
There is no person so persistent in faithfulness as a child of God who is committed to be like Jesus. We learn about faithful children of God from Hebrews chapter 11. Without walking by faith it is impossible to please God; to bring honour and glory to His holy name. In chapter 11 verse 6 we are informed that whoever comes to God and desires to be like their Lord and Saviour, must believe that the Lord is the only true God and that all things were created by and for Him. Those people who follow Him, believe that He rewards their faithfulness by being diligent, in the things that the Lord has given them to do.
Don't Be a Slacker!
God desires that we will all keep on His chosen way so that after we have completed our earthly walk, we will enter His eternal rest. Diligent people will appreciate the profound importance of Hebrews chapter 4 verses 9 to 11. Always find out what God desires for your life and He will then show you the way to achieve His goals. Everyone who obeys God and His word will be able to enter into His rest. At the end of their earthly days they will be able to rest from their fleshly stresses and torments. They then become like their Father in heaven, who has already entered His rest. Christians must make every effort to enter the Lord's rest. All who obey Him are well able to enter His rest when they only labour following His plans and purposes for them. Those who don't enter His rest keep on struggling to do their own thing! They become just like those Hebrews who disobeyed God and subsequently died in the wilderness. Never be a slacker but a diligent worker always obeying and doing what God has planned for your earthly life.
Look for the Coming of the Lord
Every Christian should look forward, with joy, to the coming of the Lord. This day has come, already, for millions of God's children, over the past two thousand years. Every day many saints go up to meet the Lord from countries all around the globe and they are able to abide with Him, in His rest, for evermore. Saints, those chosen children of the Lord for eternal righteousness, must learn to develop and keep developing holy and purified lives. The importance of having a pure life, in Christ, is told to us when we read 1 John chapter 3 verses 2 and 3. We are already children of God and when He appears we will be like Him. All who confidently have this hope in Him desire and willingly work towards living a purified life, holy and blameless in Him. We continually read the word and as the Holy Spirit directs us, we allow God to purify our life styles, so that our very being will be to conform to His will and purposes. This is a lifetime ambition and effort, in Him, but it can not just be through our own efforts.
Real Christians Are Overcomers
You are an overcomer in Christ. Everyone who is truly born of the Holy Spirit, is an overcomer. In our life we overcome our fleshly desires, the worthlessness of the world around us and the subtle deceptive practices of Satan and his demonic hordes. We read and acknowledge His overcoming power, in us, when we read 1 John chapter 5 verse 4. Our overcoming power is through the revelation knowledge of God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit. Keep on desiring to be like Jesus and be ready, in Him, for His triumphal return for you, as one of His chosen saints! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Call Upon His Name -blog 321 - April 13th 2024]]>Sat, 13 Apr 2024 05:05:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/call-upon-his-name-blog-321-april-13th-2024Picture
The Greatest Name
Without any shadow of doubt by far the greatest person who has ever lived on earth, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God the Father's only Son. He alone created all the stars and planets and all the natural creation upon earth. This includes all land and oceans and all animals, birds and fish. His greatest creation was and is the creation of every human baby that has ever been born. He has guided mankind through His great inventions and above all shown His great love for all people. This He did by redeeming them from their fallen state and giving them the opportunity of eternal life in heaven.
Our Strong Tower
All that are saved, born again children of God, have his wonderful protection from the violence and deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. We read about this complete protection from Proverbs chapter 18 verse 10. The name of Jesus is a strong tower of wisdom and overcoming power. Only those who love and serve Jesus are His righteous ones. These people run to the Lord and His word. In an evil, confused and deceitful world the Lord is their safe hiding place from all that belongs to Satan and his demons. In this world, safety in the Lord, is the only sure protection for mankind.
Christians Have God Given Rights
We read about the mighty privilege of being a child of God from John chapter 1 verse 12. Jesus Christ died on the Cross at Calvary so that every single person who has ever lived could be redeemed, from the penalty of their sins. This was through the Lord's shed blood, on their behalf. Jesus gave all believers the right to become children of God. Every believer becomes an elected person and immediately they accept and follow Jesus Christ. At that point they have become inheritors of eternal life and all of God's wonderful blessings.
Faith in His Name
No one can be saved unless they are willing to accept, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their own personal Lord and Saviour. It must be by faith in His name and in His word, alone. This we read from Acts chapter 3 verse 16. When you ask the Lord to take care of your life it is so essential to know that He answers your requests. When we need healing or finances or any personal breakthroughs we simply ask and believe that He answers our prayers. It is always faith in His mighty name that always brings us His results. Listen to Him, that is believe in Him and His word. This enables us to know we have the answer that is His will and that is perfect and complete. The man at the temple gate walked as a result of believing, by faith, in the name of Jesus, that the Lord would heal him.
Assurance of Salvation
Our full assurance of eternal salvation is found when we read and accept the truth of Acts chapter 4 verse 12. Salvation for forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life can only be found in and through Jesus Christ. No other religion or cult can really teach us or know about eternal life. No other name is given to mankind except Jesus Christ. As we read God's word, the Holy Bible and personally accept its truth for our life, we are able to be saved. There is no alternative salvation. People must become born again Christians no matter which country they live or eventually, they will go to hell, forever!
Everyone Will Be Subject to Jesus Christ.
We read about the awesome and complete power, that God the Father, has given to His Son, Jesus over all of mankind. We read this important information from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 19 to 23. The Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead and gave Him supreme authority over all creation. God the Father then seated Jesus Christ at His right hand: this is the real source of all power and authority. Jesus was given this rule not only in this world but also in that which is to come. He was also given supreme authority over all His born again children. His children are the body of Christ, the only true and faithful church on earth.
Be Established in the Lord
Reading and meditating upon Colossians chapter 2 verses 6 to 8, we realise how essential it is to call upon and rely on the name of the Lord. We are to daily walk with Him confessing and applying the revelation knowledge of God's word, revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. In so doing we become established in His faith. We promote the characteristics of His life in our daily walk with Him. As we choose to do so we avoid being taken captive by the deceits and vain philosophy promoted by Satan and worldly knowledge and activities. We are not to be caught up in the fleshly deceptions of Satan and those who do not know Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour.
Suffering for Christ
We gloriously overcome the slanders of those who do not acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We read about this from 1 Peter chapter 4 verses 14 to 17. Those who are insulted and reviled for the name of Jesus, are blessed people. They have the glory of God resting upon their spirit and soul. However, we must never suffer for being a murderer or a thief or being troublesome to other people, for in these matters we do not bring any honour, to God's holy name but rather we suffer that which we deserve. We should suffer for wrong doing. However, we are not to be ashamed when we suffer for proclaiming God's word or being obedient to His will and purposes. Rather we are to rejoice for the opportunity to share in Christ's sufferings and to bring honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. The Lord judges and cleanses His own children so that they will learn to walk in His pure and holy ways. If God judges His children, for their iniquity, what will be the disastrous end for those who willingly and abusively reject God and His word?
Ever Listen and Obey the Lord
Those who are born again, blood bought, children of God must determine to always walk in His ways. They must honour the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Listen to and obey everything that the holy Spirit reveals to your spirit, to do. This will agree with His word, the Holy Bible. Keep calling on the Lord and He will always answer you!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

<![CDATA[All Are Sinners - Blog 320 - April 6th 2024]]>Sat, 06 Apr 2024 05:27:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/all-are-sinners-blog-320-april-6th-2024Picture

Why You Are a Sinner
Every human being begins life after contraception in the mother's womb. After about or just before nine months everyone enters this world corrupted by sin and Satan's lies and deceitful ways. The only sinless being who lived His life on earth, was Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Adam and Eve, the first created beings, were also perfect and god like, in the beginning. Adam was given his authority, as ruler of this earth, by God. However, in the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Eve into eating fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which was in the centre of the Garden. God had allowed them to eat fruit from every other tree, but not this one. Adam also ate of the fruit. Immediately, their inner being or spirit, became corrupted. They disobeyed God so sin then entered the world through them. They had inherited a sin nature and its effects spread abroad throughout all of God's perfect creation so that all creation had now departed from God's original plan and it was now a fallen world subject to decay and death. Every child that has been born from Cain and Abel onwards, the offspring of Adam and Eve, now possessed this fallen, sinful nature. People become sinners as soon as they are born and as a result, all mankind needs redemption.
Only Sinners Can Repent
We learn when reading Matthew chapter 9 verse 12 and 13 the reason why Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth. Firstly, He came down to give compassion to all who were in distress and lost. Secondly, He came to save those sinners, who knew they were lost and were willing to repent. Any unbeliever who does not recognise that they are also lost and that they are also sinners, in need of repentance, can never be saved. They do not realise their need of salvation nor do they recognise that their foolish unrighteous ways are at enmity with God's holiness and righteousness. Blessed are all those who know that they are truly sinners and are lost, for they are the ones who will truly be saved and inherit eternal life.
The Lost Sheep
Jesus answered the self righteous Pharisees through the parable of The Lost Sheep. We read about this from Luke chapter 15 verses 4 to 7. A shepherd had a hundred sheep and one became lost. When he found the lost sheep he put the lamb on his shoulders and carried it back home and called his friends together and they had a great party rejoicing together, because the shepherd had found the one that was lost. In heaven there is greater rejoicing over one sinner that is born again than over the ninety nine who are already saved. How highly the Lord regards the salvation of those who are lost! We, too, must have the same regard for all those we know, even daily, who are lost at this moment, to eternal salvation.
Jesus Died for All
What a mighty verse of scripture we find in John chapter 3 verse 16. The Father so loved all of His creation, that are made in His image, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die as a sacrifice for their sins. This sacrifice enabled all of mankind, every single person, to be redeemed and forgiven through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus, on the Cross at Calvary, on their behalf. Whoever believes on Him and His word, the Holy Bible, will never perish but will have eternal life.
No One is Righteous
No one, in themselves, whether they be king, president, prime minister, archbishop, apostle, prophet or even an evangelist, is righteous in themselves. We learn about this all embracing fact from Romans chapter 3 verses 10 and 11. No one can meet God's righteous standard until they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and are willing to repent of their sins. When they do so they obtain not only forgiveness of their sins but also the free gift of eternal life. Their spirit is recreated and made holy and becomes god like and is able to communicate with God, through the Holy Spirit, the third member of the godhead or Trinity. In ourselves, not matter what seemingly wonderful deeds that we may perform, they do not really help us to understand God and His ways nor even know about or want to know God's ways. If we yield to the Holy Spirit's promptings, to our spirit to repent, we will truly know God and be saved.
Everyone Is a Sinner
Without giving your life to Jesus Christ you remain a sinner. Everyone who does not repent of their sins can not be forgiven and therefore they remain a sinner, before God. This we are told in Romans chapter 3 verse 23. All who have sinned, since the fall, in the Garden of Eden and have not repented, remain sinners. Their destination, sooner or later, is damnation in hell, with Satan, rather than eternal life, with God, in heaven.
Are You the Greatest Sinner?
We read about those who are the greatest sinners, from the information supplied in 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 15. Jesus Christ came to save sinners and give them eternal life. All who truly repent, become like Paul the apostle. They are sorry for their sins, which are primarily against God and His word. The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, righteousness and judgement and when they realise that they themselves, are just as much, the chief of sinners, and are really in God's eyes, just as bad as the worst criminals that ever lived, they begin to realise the enormity of their sins. After all sin is ultimately against God and God's righteousness rather than against anyone or anything else.
Walk in His Truth
Every Christian must live and practice the truth that is found in 1 John chapter 1 verses 6 to 10. We cannot have real fellowship with the Lord if we constantly live in the lies and deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. To be able to constantly walk in the truth of God's word and have real fellowship with the Lord we must be obedient to His will and purposes for our life. If we sin then quickly repent; the blood shed by Jesus Christ will cleanse us from all our sin, ever erasing the very guilt and stain of every iniquity we have ever committed. However, if we refuse to acknowledge, that we have sinned, then God's truth is not in us and we allow our latest sin to remain. If we freely confess our sins Jesus is always faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Not to admit our sin makes Jesus to appear as a liar and His word, the Holy Bible, is not working in us.
No Longer a Sinner
The wonderful good news or gospel, for all who know they are sinners, is that once they genuinely repent of their sins and keep on walking in God's ways, they have become at that very moment, a child of the living God. They are redeemed forever and are no longer just an old sinner. Always keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying the knowledge of God's word to your on going circumstances. Keep on praying and continually communicating with your Father in heaven. Keep on thanking Him for your deliverance from the paths and guilt of sin with words of praise!

Light Overcomes Darkness
Sometimes we find ourselves in a literal dark place in life. At night we sometimes have to get up when all outside and inside is dark with little or no light. It is important not to stumble or fall. The world we live in is full of darkness and often hard to find the right way to go. There appears to be no light switch to lighten our way and show us what is the right thing to do. An electrical switch will make little or no difference to our pathway in life. However, there is a great light that can change our circumstances forever. This switch is available to us through the light of God's ways as revealed through His word, the Holy Bible. This knowledge is revealed by the Holy Spirit and brings the light to our spirit, our inner person.
Let There Be Light
God, Himself, brought His light into a dark world of chaos. God said: ”Let there be light and there was light.” This is recorded in Genesis chapter 1 verses 3 to 5. God willed and then spoke forth His creation into existence. God saw that the light was good and pleasing to Him. He sustained the light and separated it from darkness. This same great light happens to His children when they are born again. They are separated from the darkness of Satan's kingdom and immediately transferred into the light of the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. As His children become baptised by the Holy Spirit and keep feeding on His word they become filled with His light and the darkness of Satan's kingdom becomes dispelled.
The Lord Is Our Light
The Lord is our light and salvation according to Psalm 27 verse 1. God's light, through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible, produces eternal salvation, in all who are willing to believe. Those who know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour know they are God's chosen children and also know that they are inheritors of God's eternal life and His eternal blessings. They have, at their disposal, God's immeasurable power to lead them through their earthly life. Why should they be afraid of doubt, unbelief, sickness, poverty or personal relationships? In every situation they can obey the Holy Spirit's perfect instructions and have God's mighty victory through confessing and applying His word over every circumstance they confront.
Christians Have Become God's Light
Every born again blood bought Christian is able to become a powerful shining light in this fallen world of darkness and decay. We obtain this wonderful understanding from Matthew chapter 5 verses 14 to 16. Our lives, lived through the directions of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Holy Bible, are able to become beacons of light in a world tossed and turned, by the intrigues of the flesh, the world and the devil. We are to pray for others and witness to the unsaved and tell them about God's great mercy and love. Jesus is the true light of the world and we, as His children, must radiate who He is to all who are downtrodden and dying spiritually, emotionally and physically. We must shine out God's gospel of truth in the darkness, to all who are willing to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Those who are willing to believe and repent become children of the living God.
A New Life of Light
John chapter 1 verses 4 to 9 emphatically informs us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is our source of light and life. Without His life in us, we are spiritually dead. Not only that but everyone who lives their life without His life in them lives in perpetual darkness. In Him, alone, in the Godhead, is the only source of spiritual light. The light of God dispels the darkness of the world. Unfortunately most people, even when they have come to know the light of God's truth and righteousness, prefer to walk in the darkness of Satan's lies and deceit. John, the apostle, lived on into the revelations of the New Testament and was commissioned by God, as an ambassador of God's grace and light. He was a witness of God's light of salvation so that all who believed on the Light, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, might be saved.
We Are in the Kingdom of God
Every person, from every nation, who is willing to believe and give their lives to Jesus Christ of Nazareth and repent of their sins, immediately, becomes a child of God and is transferred from the kingdom of darkness and begins walking as a transformed person, into the kingdom of light. We read about this transformation from Colossians chapter 1 verses 13 and 14. All born again people are released from living in the kingdom of Satan and his kingdom that rules over our flesh and the world system. Those, who believe, are redeemed through Christ's sacrifice of Himself: this was for the entire world, on the Cross of Calvary. As we keep on praying, listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit and also by reading and confessing God's word, on a daily basis, we become sanctified and are changed, spiritually, from glory to glory. We have escaped the penalty for our sins and have been given, as a free gift, eternal life.
We Are a Chosen Race of People
1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9 has wonderful everlasting news for everyone who truly loves the Lord. God's children are a chosen race of royal priests. They are a consecrated nation of special people, unto the Lord, His children are God's own special possession, for eternity. His people have been chosen to represent God and as a witness to the world of His wonderful grace and love. God has called us out of the darkness of this world into His glorious light. Through His word, the Holy Bible, He has shared His redemptive plans and purposes, with His children. They no longer stumble in the darkness but have become possessors of His eternal life and light! Keep on walking in His marvellous light in the midst of a crooked and perverse world. You have become like Him, a light to the world! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Our Communication with God
In order to maintain a vibrant life channel with God, all Christians must spend quality time, in prayer. It is the very oxygen, our real life blood and connection with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Prayer needs to be consistent and based on God's word, the Holy Bible. Prayer must be a daily practice. It must also be a two way meeting place where we pray to God and our spirit hears from God. To be really effective, every Christian must be obedient and put into practice that which the Holy Spirit directs them to do. A true prayer channel must have the willingness of the participant to bring every plan or need before God's throne. Answers from the Lord will always be consistent with the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible.
Always Pray
No matter what the circumstance in life is, whether great or apparently small, always pray; always get divine advice. Jesus encourages us always to pray. This exhortation we read from Luke chapter 18 verses 1 to 5. Jesus told His disciples the parable of the unrighteous judge. He was a person who did not fear God nor respect his fellow man. However, there was a woman in desperate circumstances, who kept on coming to him to make a favourable decision, for her case. She desired justice and legal protection from her adversary. At first, the judge ignored the woman's pleas for help. However, because of her constant bothering him, for his help, he had to do something for her continual demand for justice. She was continually annoying him and in time, she would wear him out. She then asked for justice on her behalf. As we continue in prayer, our faithful God will also act on the righteous petitions, of His children. He will not delay in bringing His justice to your circumstances.
Keep on Asking and You Will Receive
Our petitions, before the Father's throne, are extremely important to our Father in heaven. This we read from Luke chapter 11 verses 5 to 13. Persistence in prayer is vital. As we persist we are showing our Father, in heaven, how much we really need His answer. It is a form of humbling ourselves and a recognition that we can't solve the problem by ourselves. Jesus told His disciples, in a parable, the story about a visitor who arrived unexpectedly at midnight, at his friend's place. The man then went to his neighbour and asked for three loaves of bread. The neighbour then replied “ Don't trouble me! The door is shut and my children are with me in bed. I cannot rise and give it to you!” However though he wouldn't rise he did give him the three loaves because of the persistence of his neighbour. In fact he will give him as many as he needs. We must keep on asking and our Father will give us what we need. We must keep on seeking and keep on knocking until the door is opened that supplies our need. Everyone that does so will receive whatever they require. If we know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will our Father in heaven, supply what we need!
Pray to the Father in Jesus' Name
We learn about praying to the Father in Jesus' name from John 14 verses 13 and 14. Whatever we ask in Jesus' name the Lord will answer us. Every prayer request must always be in line with God's word. When we pray in this manner, God the Father becomes glorified when we acknowledge His Son, Jesus Christ. Everything that is very worthy, in Jesus' name, God the Father, will do it.
Make Your Prayer Requests with Thanksgiving
We are encouraged to always make our supplications, or our prayers to God, in faith and we are not to be anxious or fearful. We learn this from Philippians chapter 4 verse 6. All doubt and unbelief comes from Satan. We must be careful of wrong thoughts, speech or actions, that they will be broken off and resolved when we pray. God will always answer our requests and fulfil his righteousness by doing so. Everything we have in life, must be full of thanksgiving to God for His goodness towards us. You can always pray silently or openly for yourself, family members, people at church or people at the shopping centre or on the train or any means of travel. God always hears and answers our prayers.
Prayer Must Be Continual and in the Spirit
We learn from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18 the importance of continual prayer. How many wonderful deeds have been wrought because people learned to pray regularly. We are encouraged to pray for all God's saints with whom we fellowship and know about. Not only do we pray in our native language but it is also very important to pray in heavenly tongues. Praying in the Holy Spirit from our spirit enables our prayers not to be understood by Satan or his demonic hordes. God's answers come directly to our spirit which then informs our mind of God's will and purposes.
Effectiveness of Our Prayers
James chapter 5 verses 15 to 17 informs us about the wonderful effectiveness of the prayers of faith filled children of God. We can all pray the prayer of faith, based on God's word, for ourselves and for other people. We must believe, when we pray, that God's word, the Holy Bible, is the real source of divine healing. All Christians have been made righteous through the cleansing power of Christ's shed blood and the Cross of Calvary. We have Elijah, from the Old Testament, as an example of amazing prayer results. Elijah was a man with a like human nature to ours. He prayed that it would not rain for three and a half years. He then prayed that it would rain after which the drought ceased and the rain fell.
Keep Faithfully Praying
Every born again child of God is able to partake of the God given blessing of prayer. Learn verses of scripture that enable you to pray with greater power and assurance. Be always constant and vigilant in prayer. Confess and apply the word of God to your prayers. This will enable you to have greater faith, in believing God will answer your prayers and that what you pray for is truly through faith in God and His word. His faith combined with the answers to your prayers will result in powerful and complete resolutions to your prayers. Please, keep on praying with faith filled prayers and always expect God's mighty answers! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are Seated - blog 317 - March 16th 2024]]>Sat, 16 Mar 2024 03:56:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-seated-blog-317-march-16th-2024Picture
Be Seated
To be seated is to be ready, not to be anxious, but also to be prepared and to know and to be confident that you are in the right place, at the right time. Christians have their total confidence in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Right now and into the eternal future, their peace is secure. They are not worried or concerned by the strife occurring in the darkness in the world around them. God's children have escaped the snares of the flesh, the world and the devil. Their lives are full of God's transcending peace. They desire to do God's will and purposes and nothing else.
Christ's Spirit Dwells in You
According to Romans chapter 8 verse 11 the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, lives in our born again spirit. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead, and as a result, the spirits of His blood bought children, were born again. At the moment that we accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we were also raised with Him, from the dead. Our spirit was made alive, forever. The Holy Spirit that dwells in our spirit, enables us to have God's eternal life.
Have an Enlightened Spirit
Our inner person needed to be enlightened by the power of the Holy Spirit, according to Ephesians chapter 1 verses 18 to 23. Our cherished hope is our divine guarantee giving us our confident expectation of the rich and glorious inheritance we have, in Christ. As we realise the unlimited and surpassing greatness of His spiritual power we are enabled, through Him, to appropriate part of His wonderful powers, while on earth. Always be devoted to dedicated prayers for all situations, as the Holy Spirit supplies His revelation knowledge, to your spirit. Each day keep on obeying the Holy Spirit's directions, to your spirit and then your spirit to your soul. Continually keep on learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to all your circumstances. God's resurrection power was exhibited, in Jesus Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and then through all His believing children, throughout the past 2,000 years. Jesus Christ has all power and dominion. He is the head of the church and we are His body. This dominion is over the world age of this day as well as the world to come. Everything is subject to Christ's dominion. This empowerment is also given to His body, the church, as they are willing to receive and apply it. He is the fullness, as the head of the church and His children of believers, the church, is His body, who always need to follow their head.
Raised and Seated with Christ.
When Christ arose from the dead so did every born again blood bought child of God. We read about this from Ephesians chapter 2 verses 6 to 8. Not only were we resurrected to eternal life with Jesus Christ, but we are now already seated, with the Lord, in the heavens. We are already seated at the right hand of the Father. In the ages to come all of God's children will be shown as the trophies of the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His great grace. This grace, at the moment, only resides in earthly vessels but then we will be the eternal beings of God's righteousness. It is through His grace that our redemption is already complete. His grace has enabled us to be delivered from the fury and righteous judgement of God's wrath. We have been saved through His faith working through our spirit, so that we have gained eternal life. None of it is through our own righteousness nor our own effort. It is only through our willingness to accept the gracious gift of God's eternal redemption, on our behalf.
Your Past Is Forgotten
You were saved when you were in the complete deadness of your sins. When you believed and repented you became a new creature in Christ. You were made eternally alive and freely forgiven of all your sins. It is a gift. You did not have to work for it. This we read about in Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 to 15. All your sins, including all your evil thoughts, your bad speech and foolish actions, were cancelled out, by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, on the Cross of Calvary. Your certificate of spiritual death, with its legal demands, which were hostile against you, were set aside and its power broken off and nailed to the Cross at Calvary. As well as our sins being paid for Christ disarmed and defeated Satan and all the supernatural forces that had ruled over us and kept us all in bondage. Jesus made a public example of them, parading them as spiritual captives, for all to see. They became captives of His triumphal procession before all in heaven and in hell and to those on earth, willing to believe. His triumph on the Cross was complete, for all eternity.
No Longer Remembered
We read from Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12 about the complete forgiveness of our sin. God has been so merciful to all His creation, to all who will accept His marvellous gift of redemption. This is His great gift of grace to you. Every wickedness that you or I have committed has been completely forgiven and forgotten. In fact, every intended and foolishly committed sin, in all the time mankind has lived on earth, has been forgiven. God is so merciful and gracious! He has given each person complete authority, in Him, to destroy the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. Even more remarkable is the eternal fact that our heavenly Father, indeed the entire Godhead, has not only forgiven us our sins but also forgotten them. They will not be remembered against us, those that believe, forevermore! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Be My Disciple
To follow someone means that you accept what they stand for and who they are and you are willing to put it into action. You desire to be like them and put into daily practice what they believe and what they do. They and their way of living becomes the role model for your life. In every day life there are people who are often leaders in their field of endeavour who become role models of society. Often they are considered people worthy enough to be imitated for their integrity and performance. For all born again blood bought Christians our role model must always be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We learn to become disciples and follow Him and His word, the Holy Bible.
Matthew Becomes a Disciple
Every working day, Matthew, sometimes referred to as Levi, sat in the tax office responsible in some manner for the collection of tax money, on behalf of the ruling authorities. We read in the scriptures, that Jesus of Nazareth, had just healed a man of paralysis. He was now able to walk and the people were marvelling at the miracle and were giving glory to God. About this time Jesus called Matthew, from his daily occupation, to follow Him and become one of His personal chosen apostles. We read about this incident from Matthew chapter 9 verse 9. Immediately, Matthew obeyed and left his former task behind and followed Jesus. All Christians must learn to do the same and be obedient to whatever the Lord calls them to do.
Follow the Lord, Today
Those who wish to be genuine followers of Jesus must be willing to leave their own plans and goals behind and learn to follow in the footsteps of their Lord. They must be willing to leave behind the deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil and take up their cross or their burden or the special work God has given them to perform. We learn about this from Mark chapter 8 verses 34 to 38. We may be as young as eighteen years of age or as old as seventy years or more when the Lord calls us to a specific service. Whatever the task we must be willing to follow with all His strength and the ability He provides for us. If we are not obedient we can lose out big time! We must follow His commands so that the gospel can be preached to others. There is no substitute for not obediently following the Lord. If we are ashamed of following Him and His work in this sinful world then He will be ashamed of us, when He returns for all His chosen disciples, in His heavenly glory.
His Real Disciples
By reading Luke chapter 14 verses 26 and 27 we learn about the important qualities that are required of those, who follow Jesus Christ. In the above passage God does not tell us to really hate our family members but we must learn to put the Lord before our families or anyone else. This also includes our own life desires and ambitions. Our God must have the foremost place in our lives. In so doing we become His true disciples. We willingly carry out the things that the Lord has created us to do. Our ministry is not only our cross or reason for being but also our greatest blessing. We must always believe that the Holy Spirit and Jesus, the Living Word of God, always know what is best for us and we must conform our life consistently to God's will and purposes.
Always Obey God
We learn from Acts chapter 5 verses 27 to 32 that Peter and John had been brought before the Sanhedrin or Jewish High Court to be tried for preaching and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. They had been previously instructed not to preach in this name and had been locked up in prison for doing so. Peter replied, in his defence, that they must obey God rather than men. This understanding must be applied by all Christians that only when rulers, try to place themselves above the authority of God, should they resist the governing authorities. In recent times, this has happened to Christians, in Communist controlled regimes. The Lord's apostles have become His witnesses and servants of who He is. Revelation knowledge and special healing anointing have been given to them so that the truth of God's righteousness could become known to all who are willing to believe.
Keep Following in God's Ways
If we prefer our own life and way then we will end up in spiritual death and eternal damnation in hell. This is important information revealed to us from reading John chapter 12 verses 25 and 26. Those people who regard their true life as being in Christ and walk obediently in His ways, gain life everlasting. We must faithfully follow the Lord for His way is righteous and He enables us to live a sanctified life, well pleasing to God! Christians must follow, without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Him and His word, the Holy Bible. They will suffer and may even die for His name's sake. Those who follow in His footsteps will live with Him, forever. On life's way we must be willing to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our circumstances and listen and be obedient to do what the Holy Spirit reveals to our spirit, our real inner person.
Put to Death the Old Self
We are instructed in Colossians chapter 3 verses 1 to 10 to put to death the things of the flesh that hinder our spiritual growth and to put on the new person, in Christ. All born again believers have been resurrected, when Christ was resurrected, to eternal life in Him. We are to habitually keep our lives focused on Jesus and on heavenly things. We must not have our aims set only on earthly things but chiefly on the eternal. We are to deprive Satan and his demons of the evil desires of the flesh, the world and the devil. It is because of unrighteousness that the wrath of God is coming upon every evil person and every evil activity. We once walked in the ways of the world but now we live our life in Christ. We have forsaken and must keep forsaking the things of the flesh such as anger, rage, malice and slander as well as obscene and vulgar language. We must put on and keep putting on His likeness and His ways. To death with the old self – our mind, will and emotions and bad bodily practices! We are to put on the new person created in the very likeness of Christ and His revealed word. Every day follow in His ways, putting on His love, His joy, His peace and His righteousness. We do this through the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the revelation of the word of God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Be Conformed to God's Will
Mankind is a tripartite being composed of a spirit, soul and a body. His spirit is the only part of his being that can be recreated, after repentance of sins and acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They thereby become capable of communicating with God, through the Holy Spirit. The soul of a person consists of their mind for thinking, their emotions for expressing their feelings and their will for decision making, and of course their body, their exterior house. Our will is the part of our soul that chooses and determines our pathway in life. It chooses what we will say and what we will do. The will enables everyone to make decisions, particularly, whether they will follow God's will and His purposes or do their own thing in life! Will they be willing to follow God's will and purposes or else follow the way of their flesh, the world and the devil? God has given every person their own free will to choose or reject His will and purposes.
Pray for God's Kingdom to Come
Part of the Lord's Prayer includes the words that Jesus desired that the Father's will be done. These words are in Matthew chapter 6 verse 10. This desire is that His kingdom in heaven be also fully accomplished on earth, as well. His will and purposes can be done right now in the obedient lives of those who are His born again children, on earth.
Jesus Willingly Went to the Cross
In Luke chapter 22 verse 42 we read about the great cup of anguish and pain, filled with all the sin and iniquity of all mankind, that had been given to Jesus by His Father. Jesus asked that the incredible suffering that He was about to endure, would be taken from Him. It was the terrible cup of God's wrath that had been filled with the sin of man's rebellion against God. Whatever the tremendous cost, Jesus accepted the cup in order to do His Father's will and achieve God the Father's divine purpose. Jesus' final decision was not that His will be done but that the will of His Father would be accomplished. Doing God's will must be the decision that all who love the Lord, must make, in life. It must be God's will before our own will.
God's Will Enables You
Because God's will for our life, is perfect, His will makes it possible for our life to be a righteous life well pleasing to God the Father. This is what Jesus did, so must we. We read the words of the Lord from John chapter 5 verse 30. Jesus did nothing on His own initiative and we must do likewise if we desire to please the Lord. What Jesus heard is the same as what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit to do. Jesus did what was wise and just because He obeyed the will of His Father and did not do His own will. The Father had sent Jesus into the world just as He sends us out into the world. To be successful we must do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do. This will always align with God's word, the Holy Bible.
God Works in Us
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are able to do a mighty everlasting work, in our lives, as we are obedient and allow God to perform His will and purposes. This we learn from Philippians chapter 2 verse 13. Our will and purposes and our physical strength, by themselves, are highly ineffective. It is God, in us, who is able to completely achieve His will and purposes in our life. He is constantly strengthening and energising that which is His will and purposes. Allowing the Lord to do His mighty works, in our life, not only fulfils who we are but above all, gives great pleasure to the Father.
God's Goodness in His Son
The fullness of the eternal majesty of the Father, is fulfilled in the goodness and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are informed of these wonderful facts in Colossians chapter 1 verses 19 and 20. Jesus has the sum total of the Father's divine essence, residing in Him. No wonder He could say with great authority to Thomas, “ Those who have seen Me have also seen the Father.” All of the Father's attributes, perfection and powers, are found in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Learn to Do God's Will
We learn the foundational reason why Jesus was willing to carry our His Father's will. We read this from Hebrews chapter 10 verse 9. He was obedient to His Father, so must we also be willing. In so doing He completed the Old Covenant or Testament and through His death and resurrection, initiated the New Covenant or Testament, that was ratified through His shed blood. In so doing He atoned and cleansed away the handwriting of God's laws and nailed them to the Cross at Calvary. We are now able, by repenting and accepting Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Saviour, to be cleansed and freed, from our burden of sin. Those who believe and accept are able to be fully reconciled to God. We have become His eternal children, forever. We are now partakers of the New Covenant and are no longer under the bondage of the Old Covenant.
Rewards for Doing God's Will
Look! This world and all its glamour and awards are quickly passing away. 1 John chapter 2 verse 17 informs us that all the shameful pursuits and ungodly acts, in this world, are coming to a crashing and fearful end. However, those who do the will of God and carry out His purposes, live on, forever. There is no real 'gravy train' in doing the things of this world. Do God's will and the whole of your life will begin to make sense! Your whole being will become completely fulfilled in the Lord.
Listen, Read and Be Fulfilled
Every Christian must read and where possible learn a portion or verse of God's word, the Holy Bible, every day. Keep doing it each morning before you get into the day's chores and also at night, before settling down to sleep. Listen carefully to the Holy Spirit, confirming to your spirit, God's will and purposes for each day. Share together with your marriage partner or a friend so that others can also have confirmation of what the Holy Spirit is proclaiming. Always be obedient to what the Holy Spirit tells you to do. Each morning ask the Lord for a new infilling of the Holy Spirit. This will give you extra strength and guidance for the new day. Whatever you learn from the Holy Spirit it will never be in disagreement with God's word. Rather it will always confirm it. Keep praising the Lord constantly, each day. Rejoice in His goodness towards you and your family, friends and other people. Read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word on a daily basis to your current circumstances. Always be willing to follow God's will for your life and you will become a fully successful Christian, in the Lord! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

You Are More Than a Conqueror
All born again, blood bought Christians, inherit, through the Holy Spirit, their recreated spirit, which is enabled to become, in Christ, more than a conqueror. We are well able to conquer the flesh, the world and the devil. This also includes the ability, of our spirit, to subdue bad thoughts, uncouth speech and harmful and violent actions. Our body, as well as our mind, our will and our emotions, need to become subservient to our recreated spirit. In order to do so our spirit must remain obedient to the Holy Spirit's revelation and knowledge that reveals the word of God, the Holy Bible. This needs to become a continual victorious practice. If you sometimes fail, repent and then keep on prevailing.
The Foundation for Victory
The overcomer's victory is founded firmly on God's word, notably such as Roman's chapter 8 verses 35 to 39. Christians, who are doing God's will, are daily confronted with the devil's problems and insults; They are like sheep going to the slaughter. However, we can win overwhelming victory over all of Satan's onslaughts through Christ, who loves us. This victory is so great and marvellous that neither death or demons, nor earthly rulers, nor anything present nor threatening nor things nor powers present that can come, as well as no amount of created space or creature will be able to separate us from God's love, in Christ.
You Live by Faith
A true Christian must base their faith not on their life experiences but only by faith, in the name of Jesus, who is the word of God. This important information occurs in Acts chapter 3 verse 16. It is the name of Jesus which gives us our strength and power to believe in His word. His faith then comes through the Holy Spirit to our spirit and then our spirit relays this faith to our mind so that we can truly believe and understand. This faith is so important for all our daily circumstances. It includes our health, our necessary needs as well as our well being towards all who are willing to believe.
Your Eternal Life
To gain entry to eternal life you must first repent of your sins and then truly believe on Jesus and his word. John chapter 3 verse 16 informs us about God's great love for everyone and His wonderful creation. The Father sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that all who genuinely repent and believe in Him, should be saved. Those who trust in Him, as their Lord and Saviour, will never die spiritually but have eternal life. There is a stern warning in John chapter 3 verse 18. We read that those who reject Him are already judged. They will not be saved but will have eternal damnation in hell.
Believers Can Be Healed
Everyone that is a child of God is well able to be healed: spirit, soul and body. It is always God's will for all people and particularly, His children, to be healed. This means spirit, soul and body. We read about how Jesus dealt with healing from Acts chapter 10 verse 38. The Father God anointed His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, with the Holy Spirit and power. Jesus went about teaching and doing good. He healed all who were sick and were oppressed by the devil and demonic activity. In like manner, God's children are anointed to heal and help others.
Christians Must Be Lovers
We learn about God's greatest commandment from John chapter 15 verses 12 to 14. Christians are to love one another and unselfishly seek the best for others just as God has loved them. Those that have great love for others are willing to lay down their lives for others, that means they willingly put others before themselves. If we obey God's commands, particularly concerning love, we are indeed God's friends.
Love Begets Forgiveness
As God's children we take on the bond of perfection which is available through God's love. This we learn from Luke chapter 7 verse 47. We are told that those who are forgiven much love much. They realise how much they have been forgiven. This bond of perfection enables us to have unity with our fellow brothers and sisters. In doing so we seek the best for others rather than just ourselves. We learn to graciously carry the burdens of others. Every time we fail in word or deed we are to quickly and willingly forgive each other. This may be among our family members, relatives, friends, church members or our school or work mates. Any complaint we must readily forgive. Why is that so? Because just as Christ has forgiven us, in the same manner we are to forgive other people.
Christians Must Be Diligent Workers
To be an effective Christian you need to be diligent, every day. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 informs us that without faith you cannot please God. However, our faith must always be joined together with diligent effort. We must believe that God is and that He truly rewards all who diligently seek Him. We must be diligent in our prayer life as well as listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit. Each day learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all of your everyday situations.
Our Inner Strength
Each day our spirit is eternally strengthened as we seek God's will and purposes for our life. We read about this wonderful news from Romans chapter 8 verses 26 and 34. Our inner person or spirit connects with the Holy Spirit, and gives us the knowledge and wisdom of God the Father and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit helps us in our fleshly weaknesses to overcome any earthly problem. Often we don't know how to pray but the Holy Spirit reveals the reality of our problems and how to effectively find the perfect, God honouring, solutions. The Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groaning to deep for our human understanding or words. Jesus Christ, our eternal Lord and Saviour, through whose precious blood we are saved, also intercedes for us, at the right hand of God the Father.
Wonderful Blessings Through the Lord
Every Christian, who loves Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, is born again to everlasting life and blessings. They, because of repentance from their sins, are cleansed and made holy to serve the living God. Their spirit is recreated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit and they have become people capable of not only loving God but also being able to love other people. Like their master, Jesus Christ, they are fully capable of forgiving others of all their unkind or malicious words against them. What marvellous and wonderful blessings these attributes are for each born again Christian!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Cleansed and Empowered Through His Blood-2nd edition-Feb 19th 2024]]>Mon, 19 Feb 2024 02:24:28 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/cleansed-and-empowered-through-his-blood-2nd-edition-feb-19th-2024Picture
The Blood of Eternal Life
We read about the complete efficacy of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hebrews chapter 9 verses 12 to 14. Under the covenant of the Old Testament, the blood of goats and calves was used by the High Priest to merely cover the sins of the people. When Christ died on the Cross He shed His own perfect divine blood to cleanse away, not just cover our sins. He entered the Most Holy Place, one time only for the sins of all people obtaining eternal redemption for all who were willing to believe. If the blood of bulls and the ashes of an heifer, was sprinkled over all that was unclean, sanctifying and purifying the flesh, how much more shall Christ's pure divine blood purge and cleanse our consciences enabling us to serve the living God. When Satan brings a reminder of past sins to your conscience, then show Him that your sins are washed away by Christ's precious blood and remembered no more. The power of the blood of Jesus Christ destroys any power that Satan may try to bring against your mind or spirit.
The New Covenant
We learn about the New Covenant from Hebrews chapter 10 verses 16 to 18. God has made a new covenant or testament with His people. The new covenant contains His law of love written by the Holy Spirit upon the spirit and minds of His children. Through His redemptive covenant the Lord's precious blood has washed away all of mankind's sins and lawless deeds, even their premeditated evil and He remembers them no more. You are a pure and cleansed being before the throne of God. Yours and my sins have been remitted forever. This is a perfect and complete forgiveness and there is therefore no need for any further action on the part of mankind other than for their acceptance of His redemptive pardon on their behalf.
Never Have Contempt for the Blood
In Hebrews chapter 10 verse 29 we learn that must think very carefully about our acceptance or denial of Christ's pardon for our sins as a means of eternal redemption. Those who count the efficacy of the shed blood of Jesus Christ as a worthless thing and deliberately insult the Spirit of Grace will be denied forgiveness of sins and the entrance to eternal life in the presence of a gracious loving Father in Heaven. Those that do deny the power of the blood will be damned for all eternity.
The Blood Cleanses the Guilty Conscience
We must constantly walk in the light of God's word. This we learn from 1 John chapter 1 verse 7. To walk in the light is to constantly walk in the light as Jesus does. This means following carefully and obeying the Holy Spirit's directions through our spirit in light of God's word. In so doing we are able to have fellowship with all our born again brothers and sisters in the Lord. We live as Jesus lives and His shed blood cleanses our conscience from all sins which we often commit against other people, even our born again brothers and sisters. We are truly able to walk in His light because Jesus is the true light of the world.
Brought Near by His Blood
In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 13 we read that we are brought near by the blood of Christ. We once lived far off in darkness according to the course of this world. Satan and his demons were our masters in the kingdom of darkness. However, we have been translated by the wonderful grace of God, out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. Here we can abide safely as a branch of the Vine, while on earth and into eternity. The precious blood of the Lord has translated us from darkness to light and from evil to righteousness.
We Are Overcomers Through His Precious Blood
Revelation chapter 12 verse 11 informs us about our eternal victory through the Blood of the Lamb and our consistent daily confession of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. His blood along with our confession demonstrates the power of His blood which enables our victory and causes Satan and every demon to be put to flight in terror for now and what awaits them in Hell. When a sinner sincerely repents of their sins the blood of Jesus cleanses their guilty conscience and they no longer have a guilt filled spirit. We are free forever more. Our inner person has become completely renewed and we are children of God forever. There is great power in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for all who accept and believe. We have overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Christian's are Cleansed by Christ's Blood
Our enemy, Satan, is always trying to convince God's children, that they are not good enough to really be children of Almighty God. This is done by planting false thoughts in their minds and bringing back situations concerning things that were wrong in the past. The good news is that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins and for everyone in the entire world. All who have repented of their sins have had their past iniquities washed away by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit then came to reside in their inner person or spirit and from that very moment, they became a child of God, by faith in Jesus, destined for eternal life and everlasting glory.
The Cleansing Power
The Lord invites us in Isaiah chapter 1 verse 18 to come to God and reason with Him. Your sins may appear so great that you cannot overcome them and by ourselves we cannot do so. Those dreadful thoughts we've had and those ugly words we have spoken and even acts of evil which we have committed can be made white as snow through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on our behalf on the Cross of Calvary. Those thoughts, speech and actions that are too bad even to be discussed will be made as white as wool.
Our New Covenant
We learn from Luke chapter 22 verse 20 that all born again Christians have a new covenant that replaced the Old Testament covenant. This new covenant was and is sealed eternally, by the precious blood shed by the Lord. It is this covenant that has given us eternal redemption and is for all of God's children, who have repented. They have become one of God's beloved children. All Christians must realise that the Lord's blood was shed specifically for them and everyone who is willing to believe.
The Real Church Is Purchased with Christ's Blood
All church leaders must fully recognise that the Holy Spirit is the real overseer or bishop of God's people and not men. This we read about in Acts chapter 20 verse 28. God's people are to be shepherded or pastored by wise men appointed by the Holy Spirit, who understand the important position the Lord has given them and not be involved with the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. The true church of God has been purchased and redeemed by the blood shed on the Cross and not by the edicts and mandates of mankind.
We Are Now Righteous Before God
Romans chapter 5 verses 9 and 10 informs us that we are justified or placed in right standing before God's throne by the acceptance of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Our salvation originates through Christ's precious blood and never by our own means. All who are estranged from Christ are His enemies. They neither know Him nor desire to accept Him. We have been reconciled to our Father in Heaven through the death and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are no longer enemies but have become His children. You and I are saved for eternal life and are now partakers of His eternal life.
Everything Is Reconciled by His Shed Blood
In Colossians chapter 1 verse 20 we learn that everything, in both heaven and earth, is reconciled to God by Christ's shed blood. This reconciliation through His shed blood, is available to make His perfect peace abound to all creation. No matter, where people, angels or demons reside, God is in control of the situation. Our task is to truly believe God's word when we read, meditate and confess it and apply God's word in obedient action, to the Holy Spirit's direction. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, are the peacemakers and Satan, and his demons and evil mankind, are the violent disturbers of the peace. Peace was announced by the angels at Christ's nativity and secured by the blood of Jesus when He rose triumphantly from the grave, over all His wicked enemies. He then gave those who would accept it His reconciliation of peace. These people were willing to walk in His word.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Satan Rules by Deception - February 10th 2024]]>Sat, 10 Feb 2024 04:31:41 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/satan-rules-by-deception-february-10th-2024Picture
Satan Is a Deceiver
Satan is an inveterate liar and all he does is done in deception. All who do not worship Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour live in his kingdom of darkness. This kingdom is founded on lies and is full of his deceptive ways. Those who follow him, without consideration for God and His ways, remain in spiritual darkness. They are deceived into either believing that there is no hell and eternal punishment and if there is a heaven, they will get there on their own merits. This means believing whatever they like as long as it agrees with their unregenerate spirit. God's word has no relevance in their thinking or their way of life.
First Deception of Mankind
We read about Satan's first effort in deceiving mankind from Genesis chapter 3 verses 1 to 7. Satan came into the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve, God's first created human beings, were living. He came into the Garden, in the physical form of a serpent, to deceive and seduce God's most wonderful creation, mankind. Coming in the deceptive guise of a serpent, Satan questioned Eve, the first lady, as to whether God had really told her that they should not eat fruit from any tree in the Garden. Eve replied that they could eat of the fruit of any tree except of the one in the centre of the Garden. If they ate fruit from that specific tree they would die spiritually and physically. Satan then lied to Eve that she would not die. However, he did inform her that she and Adam would become like God; knowing both good and evil. Eve looked again at the fruit on the tree and decided that it was good to eat. It would also give them greater wisdom. She then ate and shared the fruit with her husband, Adam. They became aware that they were now naked. Both of them then covered themselves with fig leaves, to cover their nakedness. The days of their innocence were over. They had deliberately disobeyed God. Sin had entered creation so that everything that God had created, was now in a fallen state. Only as people give their lives to Jesus Christ, can each individual's fallen nature be reclaimed through Christ's shed blood on the Cross at Calvary and the renewing of their spirit by the Holy Spirit.
Satan Incited David to Sin
Like Eve of earlier years David listened to his adversary, the devil, named Satan and gave the command to count the people of Israel. The account of this deception is found in 1 Chronicles chapter 21 verses 1 to 8. Joab, the leader of Israel's army, asked David to reconsider his decision. David overruled Joab's advice and as a result went ahead and counted his available men for battle, as well as the entire population of Israel. David listened to Satan's deceit rather than obeying God's command, not to count the people. As a result of David's disobedience God allowed a plague to come upon the men of Israel and seventy thousand of them, died. God then allowed an angel to destroy Jerusalem. David and his elders repented of their sin and covered their faces in sackcloth. David then acknowledged his sin before God, as he alone was the one, who really disobeyed the Lord's command and the people of Israel were regarded as innocent, of David's decision, to count the people. David then asked God if the Lord's hand could be against himself and that the people should be spared. Satan comes against everyone, particularly God's people, to try and destroy them. Always listen to what the Lord tells you and so be obedient and Satan's plans for your destruction and those of your family, will be thwarted.
Only Worship God
We learn, when reading Matthew chapter 4 verse 10, that we must only worship the Lord. Satan desires mankind to worship him, instead of God. Very few people directly worship Satan, yet because of man's inherent evil nature, so many practice his fallen ways. Jesus commanded Satan to leave when Satan tempted Him. Satan desired Jesus to worship him but when Jesus commanded Satan to leave, he had to go. Jesus, alone, is the supreme ruler of the universe, but at this moment, on earth, only His born again, blood bought children, acknowledge and worship Him as such.
Don't Try to Win in Your Own Strength!
Satan consistently endeavours to stop people listening to and obeying, the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals who Jesus is to mankind's spirit. He also convicts people of sin, righteousness and judgement. We read about his kingdom and about people's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit from Mark chapter three verses 28 and 29. We learn that Satan always promotes his deceitful and evil ways. No kingdom, earthly or spiritual, can be split into rebellious, warring factions and survive. Families can not survive turmoil if they fight each other. If Satan also is divided his power will be destroyed. In order to over power Satan and his evil plots in this world, no one can win unless it is through the word of God, the Holy Bible, and the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. When they do this they over power Satan and hi demons and all their evil works. We are far too weak to attempt to win such a battle, in our own strength, alone.
Don't Reject the Holy Spirit
All sins can and will be forgiven except the sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit and His power. Those people who do will be guilty of an everlasting, never to be forgiven, sin. Never attribute the power of God to Satan. If we do and keep on doing so we will end up in everlasting, inescapable hell.
The God of This World
The planet earth is part of the deceptive kingdom of darkness, ruled by Satan, the god of this world. We read about his deception over everyone who has yet, not heard about Jesus Christ and His kingdom of light. Others have rejected His saving grace and therefore miss out on heaven, big time! We are informed about Satan's kingdom of darkness and its effect on mankind's behaviour from 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 3 and 4. because of Satan's deceptive practices of blinding people's spiritual understanding, the preaching of the gospel often becomes hidden and not understood, by those who are perishing. Satan is called the god of this world who was
originally an archangel in heaven. He has deceived most people, for almost six thousand years, concerning the truth of worshipping and serving, the only true God. The minds and spirits of those who are perishing remain blinded by the fallen and spiritual world, controlled by Satan. They are blinded to the illuminating light of the glory of the gospel, of Christ's salvation.
Never Hold a Grudge
If we are hurt by a comment or action of another person always be ready to forgive, straight away. Never hold on to unforgiveness for it will always hurt you and others either immediately and certainly in the long haul. Unforgiveness hurts everyone concerned. We are instructed from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 26 and 27 never to give the devil an opportunity to block God's work or mess up our lives. We must never feed on resentment or be angry by thought, speech or action. Get rid of Satan's platform to hurt you and others by always seeking their forgiveness. Don't be proud but be godlike in your willingness to forgive.
Our Real Enemy
Satan has deceived every person, whoever lived, since the Garden of Eden. We read about our real enemy from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 11 and 12. Our real struggle is not against other people but it is against the rulers, against the powers and the world forces of the spiritual darkness of Satan and his demons. We are not to be engulfed by satanic deceit, corruption and the greed of this present age. We are also involved in combating the spiritual forces of darkness in the heavenly places. These powers are not only physical but also supernatural powers. Only, as we are strong in the Lord and His mighty power, can we really overcome the supernatural forces of the world, the flesh and the devil. Anything less than obedience to God and His victorious powers will only end up in our outright defeat.
Resist Satan in God's Almighty Power
Christians learn how to resist and overcome Satan's tactics when they apply God's word, as revealed to them, by the Holy Spirit, from 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8 and 9. Living in this world of Satan's dominion, with its deceit and corruption, Christians need to be well balanced and disciplined. Always be cautious and alert to Satan's schemes and plots. Our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. To Christians he only appears as a roaring lion. We are always to resist his deceptive approaches. All Christians are to be firm in their faith, rooted and established on the word of God, the Holy Bible and to be energised by the Holy Spirit's power. We must always be ready for his premeditated attacks but also realise that the same tactics, are not only being used against us but also against all our fellow brothers and sisters, around the world. We don't suffer alone but we can, in the name of Jesus, bind up Satan singly or together, when he tries to attack. Always be ready and armed and you'll not be surprised but you will confidently beat him and destroy his deceitful efforts in God's power, alone. Listen to and obey whatever the Holy Spirit directs you to do because Satan will always try to deceive you into disobeying God's best for you. This was just as he deceived Eve, thousands of years ago . Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[His Unshakeable Faith - February 2nd 2024]]>Fri, 02 Feb 2024 04:03:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/his-unshakeable-faith-february-2nd-2024Picture
His Faith Rules the Universe
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the almighty Trinity of God. Who together as one Holy Being, rule the universe from the eternal heavenly throne. They are in charge of all the affairs of mankind that are currently placed in their hands. As well, all circumstances, are overseen by Him. This situation continues on for yet a little while until all people and beings are judged at the white throne judgement. On this occasion the devil and his demonic beings and all of mankind who reject God's grace and love and His forgiveness, will be eternally judged. Because the names of these people are not found written, in the Lamb's Book of eternal life, they will be sent to everlasting hell in the never ending, lake of fire.
God Is the Creator
Our God has supreme faith so that when He foretells that something is about to happen it will be so, no matter what! Right at the beginning of the Bible, in the Old Testament, we read that the God, whom we worship, brought the whole universe into being, through the words that He spoke. This we read from Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 to 5. The amazing fact is that God, in the very beginning, created this world from nothing tangible except His faith, framed by His words. All this world and the heavens above were created through faith, by God's own creative words. All the world, had no form and was empty. It was absolutely dark, without light. The Spirit of God moved over this dark mass of land and waters. God's everlasting light shone upon this world and burst upon the newly created scene.
Having God like Faith
Our faith must be God like. How can it be God like? It is only possible when we base our faith on what it says in His word. This must be in accordance of revelation knowledge that the Holy Spirit gives our spirit and then our spirit gives our mind. This faith is completely unshakeable. Our faith can become so as we are willing to obey and learn from the Lord and His word. In scripture, we read that Jesus rebuked the demon that possessed the lunatic boy. His disciples were not able, at that time, to do so. The disciples asked Jesus why? Jesus told them His reply in Matthew chapter 17 verses 20 and 21. They only needed to have faith as a small mustard seed. This living faith is made alive by the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Those who say and pray are those whose faith grows, exceedingly. They are empowered to say to every mountain of fear, doubt, unbelief or need that it is to move and no longer be a hindrance and will be replaced by God' faith working in them. At all times it must be according to God's will and purposes. If you truly believe God's word any mountain in your life must move and be gone because you are replicating faith through His word. Accordingly, nothing will be impossible for you to do. Every demon, including Satan himself, will become subject to God's word, working through you. This kind of faith will be enabled to glorify the Father through the name of Jesus. This faith result will become manifest as His unshakeable faith.
True Faith Depends on God
We come to realise that all true faith must work in tandem with God and His will and purposes. It must come from the Father by the Holy Spirit revealing to our spirit, the dynamics of God's word. This we read from Matthew chapter 19 verse 26. As long as our faith depends on our mind, our will and our emotions, as well as our physical condition, not much of any real consequence is going to happen. The things which are of our spirit, by the Holy Spirit will always be possible. For those who are willing to believe God and His word, the impossible will become possible.
Many Scientists Are Wrong
Unfortunately many people in the scientific world have got creation understanding, quite wrong. Despite the fact that God emphatically states in His word, the Holy Bible, that God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son, created all things. They are quite wrong to believe the man made and devilish inspired foolish and unproved assumptions that evolution is true. After all everything may have begun with a big bang from gases that created themselves or even some evolutionary goo. It is assumed the gases in the big bang theory evidently came into existence of their own accord. We read in John chapter 1 verse 3 that Jesus Christ created all material things as well as the land and the seas. Nothing was created without the will and purposes of God's unshakeable faith. Man has fashioned and made all that he has designed from that which God has already created. Everything that man has came into being because man has used the raw material that God had already created. All was made from the very atoms and molecules that God had created. God's creation enabled man to shape many of the objects that he uses, where he lives. Everything was created by our all knowing, all seeing and all powerful God.
We Need God
By reading Acts chapter 17 verses 24 to 28 we learn that our God sustains all the universe and that we only live because He breathed into our lives and made us living beings. Our God has created the entire universe and allows us to be in partnership with Him. He created Adam and Eve as the first human beings. They were created in the image or the likeness of God and to be the start of the earthly family. Forget Neanderthal Man and all the silly figments of mankind's imagination. These man made creations are supposed to be part of the human evolutionary chain! Every person of every nation who has ever lived, is living now and will ever live upon planet earth, are descended from Adam and Eve. God knows and determines the appointed time and places of every empire that has ever existed as well as every nation and race of people that has ever existed or is sovereign, today. It is still true that the majority of Asian people live in Asia. The majority of white people live in Europe or countries colonised by Europeans and the majority of dark skinned people live in or come from Africa. These boundaries were set by God. Each person must seek the Father through Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour according to the working of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, in their lives. Everyone can only live and move and exist in God. They are to live and desire the Father as their God. In reality, if we believe God's word, He is never very far from everyone of us.
His Faith in Us
God's faith can and will begin to develop in us as we willingly, day by day, read, learn, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to every aspect of our life and particularly, our family. This we learn when reading Romans chapter 10 verse 17. Our faith can build like a muscle that enables us to be strong in the Lord and to become overcomers through all kinds of adversities and trials. We keep on growing and maturing as we willingly follow in the footpaths of the Lord. This message needs to be heard and applied through our confession and through godly preaching and teaching. His unshakeable faith becomes a vital part of everyone who is a born again spirit filled Christian.
Keep Pleasing Your God
We successfully learn how to please our Father God as we diligently read and apply Hebrews chapter 11 verses 3 and 6 to all our life's situations. Our faith anchors us through the word of God and gives us inherent and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God. Christians can understand how the universe, with its ages, was created by an everlasting, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient God. The world was made to suit God's plan and purposes and was not created from visible material. However, to truly understand this world, a person must be born again by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Without His everlasting, unshakeable faith, it is impossible to please Him. Everyone who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He, alone, is the eternal rewarder of all those who obey and diligently seek Him. Keep on walking by His eternal unshakeable faith towards His everlasting goals and you will always be richly rewarded. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Saying Brings Possession - January 27th 2024]]>Sat, 27 Jan 2024 04:06:27 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/saying-brings-possession-january-27th-2024Picture
                                  Confess Your Faith
Whatever you are believing for confess God's word over the required object or event that you desire. You must believe that what you say will come to pass. Make sure that when you say God's word over the situation, that it is what God desires for your life. When you know that it is God's will and purpose then earnestly confess His word over what you desire. As you keep on confessing God's word your faith level will rise to the point that you will know with certainty that what you are praying for, will come to pass. If you keep thinking and confessing bad things to happen, that's what you will get! It is important to always praise and thank God for His continual goodness towards you. When we trust in God and His word, we already know that it has come to pass, in the spiritual realm. We know that our faith in God's word will bring the desired result and make it manifest in our daily life.
Hide God's Word in Your Spirit
It is important to feed and build up your heart which is your spirit. Your spirit is your inner self or your real eternal life. We learn the importance of building up our spirit correctly, when we learn to follow the instructions found in Psalm 119 verse 11. As we keep confessing God's word over our life and those of other people, it is important not to sin but to have pure desires and intentions. Be convicted by the word of God and the Holy Spirit not to have wrong thoughts and not to speak out foolish words nor be involved in things of no real spiritual value.
His Word Gives Us Light
God's word, the Holy Bible, gives light to our pathway, in life. This we read from Psalm 119 verse 105. We will never go astray if we are willing to obey God's instructions and listen to the Holy Spirit revealing what God desires us to do. We need to realise that our ways, in themselves, are not God's ways and will never allow us to fulfil God's will and purposes, in the things that God, specially, created us to do. The Spirit and the Word reveal the way the Lord desires us to go rather than what our thoughts tell us or what people advise us to do. Yes, godly people can give us greater wisdom but the best they can do is confirm what God is already telling us. Prophets are not necessary for a Christian walking in the New Testament way, through the Holy Spirit. Godly prophets are important to encourage us to walk in the righteousness of God's word. After all the Holy Spirit, as well as Jesus Christ and the Father, are living in the spirit of every born again Christian, everyday.
Build On the Rock
Children of God must build their lives on a sure, secure foundation. They must obey God's word and the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge. When they do so they build upon their acceptance and their understanding of who Jesus Christ is. He is the ruler of the universe, the Rock of Ages. From Matthew chapter 7 verses 24 to 27 we read about the wise builder and the foolish one. Every person who hears and obeys God's word will be like a wise, far sighted, practical person who built their house and their life upon the sure foundation of the Lord. Flooding rains and troublesome circumstances came their way in life. Strong winds of doubt and sometimes lack impacted them but because their house and life, was built on God and His word. Their very being stood strong and did not fall. However, the foolish man ignored God and disobeyed the instructions of God's word, the Holy Bible. Instead this foolish or stupid man built his house and his life on the shifting sands of his own thoughts and worldly advice. When the storms of life descended on that house the shifting sands of the flesh, the world and the devil did not hold up. The result was that this house and all it stood for, came crashing to the ground. It's fall was great and very complete.
God's Faith Brings Perfect Results
God's faith in His children, brings great confidence in God and His word. We read about our saying and having from Mark chapter 11 verses 22 to 24. Whoever says to any mountain in their life that is to be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart or spirit, they will see that it will come to pass. They actively know that what they say will happen. They also know that their words will bring about God's desired results. Is this a physical mountain? Usually these mountains consist of sickness, financial lack, family relationships, upsets in church communities, doubt, all types of fear and distress, as well as personal emotional problems or whatever the devil tries to bring upon them. You can always overcome these mountains by the power that comes from God when we read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all the situations at hand. When we pray according to God's will and purposes our faith will confidently rise through Him and His word. These people will receive what they have asked for and often, much more. It might take a little time to manifest, but always keep on believing and thanking God for His promised result. Faith based on God's word will enable you to possess those things that you have prayed for.
Listeners Need Bible Teachers
It is so vital that churches have good Bible teachers who are able to rightly divide the truth of God's word. We learn of their important role from Romans chapter 10 verses 14 to 17. How can people know how to call on the name of the Lord if they are only entertained with stories of other people's deeds rather than a knowledge of calling out, in their need, to the Creator of the universe? All people need to be able to listen to an anointed messenger of the Lord, so that they can rightly know and divide the truth of God's word. These teachers must be commissioned by the Lord rather than only authorised by a church board or denominational organisation. Like Jesus, those who preach God's truth, are those who are empowered to bring God's news of good things. From the teaching of these people, God's changes will occur in people's lives. Not all will listen to the truth but unfortunately quite happy to hear religious fables. True righteousness and deliverance only comes through consistent preaching and teaching of God's word, the Holy Bible. Everyone who hears the word and consistently confesses God's truth are well able to walk by faith and obtain the godly results that they desire.
Speak and Believe God's Word
We read about the great faith of the Roman centurion in Luke chapter 7 verses 6 to 10. Jesus was going to the centurion's home, where his slave was very ill. The centurion considered himself not worthy enough for Jesus to enter his house. He recognised Jesus' great authority for he, himself, commanded one hundred soldiers, who instantly obeyed him. He believed that if Jesus just spoke the word his slave would be healed. Jesus was amazed at the centurion's great faith. He told the people listening, that this was the greatest act of faith He had found in all of Israel. The Lord spoke the word of healing and when messengers returned to the centurion's house, they found his slave was healed, that very same hour. What had happened? It was the centurion's faith is Jesus and His great authority over sickness that enabled the slave to be healed. By saying the word of God from your spirit person, God's great healing will flow forth.
The Power of God's Word
When you pray for healing, salvation, finances or family or personal relationships, it is vitally essential to speak God's word over the circumstances, involved. We learn about the complete effectiveness or the power of God's word when reading Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12. God's word is living and active and is able to energise any flagging spirit. It's power is sharper than any two edged sword, well able to penetrate our whole being. It can even divide the division of our spirit and soul which is our mind, will and emotions. It is also able to heal every part of our body. It exposes the very thoughts and the desires and intentions of our inner being. Nothing is left veiled or hidden from the word of God, the Holy Bible.
Be Active Sayers of God's Word
How important, for your possession of God's blessings, is the active participation of saying God's word which enables you to possess His answers in your life. James chapter 1 verse 22 emphasises that we must be active doers of God's word in order to inherit His power, in our lives. We must be obedient doers and not just listeners. If we fail to rely upon and understand God's word we become deluded and often have a misunderstanding or unsound interpretation of God's word. Learn to live in the truth and power of God's word, consistently, saying it over and over, in order to possess its profound truth. It will happen if you keep on saying it! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
