His Mighty Work
Christians are to be empowered by the holy Spirit and by the word of God, the Bible, to carry out God's will and purposes in their life. We all need to live the life that God alone has created us to live. We find out about this mighty work in Matthew chapter 28 verses 19 and 20. All Christians are anointed by God to share God's word and make disciples of people from all ethnic backgrounds ,as the Holy Spirit leads and guides them. These people are to be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They are also to be taught God's ways and keep on observing whatever God has commanded in His word, the Bible. Each Christian must be reminded of the fact that God's power lives within them on every occasion or circumstance, they encounter in their life. This power is available to them in the mighty name of Jesus.
Our Empowering in Christ's Name
In Mark chapter 16 verses 16 to 19 we read that those persons who believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and are baptised will be saved from God's wrath and judgement. Those who don't believe will be condemned. The true believers will be accompanied by mighty signs, of God's power operating, in their lives. In the name of Jesus they will cast out and destroy the power of demons in the lives of other people. They will speak with new heavenly tongues. Deadly serpents and poisonous creatures will not be able to harm them and they will not be destroyed by poisonous drinks. A most important sign will be that they will lay hands on the sick and in the name of Jesus, those that are sick, will be made well again. These signs are to confirm the validity of who Jesus is and the power of God demonstrating the righteousness of the true preaching of God's word.
Ask in Jesus' Name
We learn about praying in the power of the name of Jesus from John chapter 14 verses 13 to 15. Whatever God's children ask God, in the name of Jesus, He will do it because all power and authority is in the mighty name of Jesus. You must be willing to obey the Lord and His word to be able to know that the name of Jesus will work with the empowerment that it has. Jesus is your healer and your provider, as well as your Saviour. Trusting in His name the power and blessings of God become yours now and throughout eternity.
God's Witnesses
Acts chapter 1 verse 8 tells us that through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and God's word, the power and ability of the name of Jesus will be available for Christians to witness to people of all different ethnic and religious backgrounds. Never attempt to carry out God's work in your own power. It just won't work! You must be earnest in prayer, early in the morning, seeking the Lord's directions and His will and purposes for your life. It must be wholehearted prayer, dedicated to winning the lost. Your spirit must be earnestly feeding on the word of God, the Bible. Each day you must read and meditate upon the word. Each day you must confess and apply God's word so that your prayers and endeavours are wrought in faith filled thoughts, speech and actions. Your prayers are received and answered from the throne of God, in heaven.
Healed in Jesus' Name
Every Christian needs to learn about using the name of Jesus to be an effective labourer, in the Lord's harvest. Peter and John went into the temple possessing only and needing only, the name of Jesus. The account of the healing, of the lame man, s recorded in Acts chapter 3 verses 1 to 13. Peter and John went into the temple, in Jerusalem, at 3.00 pm, the hour of prayer. A lame man was begging for alms at the Beautiful Gate. He asked Peter and John for money. Peter told him to look on them. The man looked at them eager for a gold or silver donation. Peter told the man that they had no silver or gold but they did have the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Peter seized the man's right hand and commanded him to stand up, in the name of Jesus. Immediately his feet and ankles became strong and he stood up and went into the temple, leaping and praising God. People saw him and recognised him as the lame man that had for a long time, been begging alms. They were filled with wonder and amazement at the miracle. Peter told them that it wasn't them that had performed this miracle. Who or what was it then? It was faith in the name of Jesus that had enabled this man to rise up and walk. This miraculous feat, was not just for the apostles of old but it is always available to all of God's blood bought born again children who are willing to believe and act upon the faith that comes to those who truly believe in the mighty name of Jesus.
No Other Name
We learn from Acts chapter 4 verse 12 that there is no other name by which a person can be saved. This is the name we must use in every situation, whether healing, finances, family situations or personal circumstances or whenever or whatever. It is faith in the almighty name of Jesus that rewards us with His wonderful victory. No other name has been given to people to use. By it the Father is glorified through His only begotten Son, Jesus. There is no other name so wonderful or as powerful, in all the universe, as the name of Jesus. Go out and use that name in your life, today, knowing it will achieve marvellous results!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[What Is Your Destiny? -January 23rd -2023]]>Mon, 23 Jan 2023 02:39:50 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/what-is-your-destiny-january-23rd-2023Picture
Where Are You Going
At the moment you may be walking the dog or be huddled by a fireside or heater or driving your car to work or to visit friends or relatives. Everyone is always involved in some activity much of the time. However, there will one day, come a final cessation to all earthly endeavour. No one knows exactly when this will occur. The important aspect of each person's life is where is their destiny, what is their final goal, what each person is really trying to achieve with the life that God the Father, has given them? He, alone, is the Creator of all we know and see and hear. After life is finished on earth there are only two possible destinations- heaven or hell.
Only Boast in the Lord
We learn about the ruler of the universe from Jeremiah chapter 9 verses 23 and 24. People are not to boast before the lord about how great they are or even the great possessions they have. Those who are wise and skilful, are not to boast in their prowess, nor the mighty and powerful in their strength, nor the rich in their temporal wealth and satisfaction. Whoever boasts should only boast in the Lord, who has made their abundant lives possible. They need to acknowledge God, the Creator, who practices loving kindness, justice and righteousness. For these are the things they should boast about.
Jesus Is the Only Saviour
Every person, alive on planet earth, whether they are a president or prime minister or a king or whether they are a child, teenager or unskilled worker, needs a Saviour. The only person who can save mankind from their sins, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of God. We read about our wonderful Saviour from John chapter 3 verses 15 to 17. If you are willing to believe in Jesus and repent of your sins, you will be saved for eternal life, from God's everlasting judgement in hell. Everyone dies physically at some time but your spirit lives forever, either in heaven or in hell. God loves you and every person who has ever lived. This is because you and everyone else was or is or will be His creation. Everyone, except Jesus Himself, who is the Son of God, are sinners in need of repentance. The Lord does not want to condemn you but rather to save you so that you can live with him, eternally, in His love, joy, peace and righteousness. God is a holy and righteous God who hates sin but He loves every person who repents and is willing to trust and obey Him.
All Authority Is in Jesus
We learn from Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 and 19 that Jesus has been given all authority and power and absolute rule in the universe. God the Father gave His Son this power when Jesus arose triumphantly from the grave and defeated Satan and his demonic hordes. He then immediately gave this authority and power to all His children, who repent and believe in Him. They are sent to everyone, in all the nations of the earth and are enabled through the Holy Spirit and the word of God. As well they are to aid others to become His children and to proclaim His gospel of salvation.
Jesus Proved His Love for Us.
Jesus Christ proves His love for us, on our behalf, long before we repented, while we were still sinners. Romans chapter 5 verse 8 informs us of this amazing fact. It is important for us to stop a moment and check where we are going in life. After all our life will not always continue on earth. We have an eternal destiny or deadline to meet. Are we living a life that is pleasing to God or are we wasting our lives with foolish living. Do we have no real regard for God and His plan for our life? No one knows how long they will live. We know that some people live to more than a hundred years while others don't even reach twenty years. It is high time each person repents and is willing to follow the Lord by being obedient to what Jesus has clearly outlined in His holy word, the Bible.
Being Led by God's Spirit
To be able to be effective Christians we must be willing to be led, by the Holy Spirit. We read about this in Romans 8 verses 14 to 17. As born again, blood bought children of God we must follow the Holy Spirit and each day read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, to our daily situations. In so doing we are well able to overcome our own flesh, worldly circumstances and the devil's plots to confuse and bind us. We are no longer slaves but we are to walk in the freedom that God gives to those who trust and obey Him. We know we are believers because the Holy Spirit confirms with our spirit, that we, indeed, are God's own children. As a result, we are inheritors with Christ, of our God's riches and mercy. Daily we also share His sufferings but also partake of His glory. When we leave this earth we have His eternal freedom and blessings in Him, forevermore. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. <![CDATA[Becoming a New Person -January 16th 2023]]>Mon, 16 Jan 2023 02:52:27 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/becoming-a-new-person-january-16th-2023Picture
The Desire to Become Like Jesus
Everyone who repents of their sins and has a genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, becomes a child of God and their renewed spirit has become an entirely recreated person. This new person desires to follow Jesus and to be obedient to Him. It wants to cultivate and grow their new person, in relationship with the Lord, by daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying His word to all of life's situations and circumstances. This new person also wants to pray and believe by faith that God is and will answer their prayers. Their desire is to become someone willing to learn more about God and His word and also learn to become, day by day, more like Jesus.
Forget Past Sins and Mistakes
All those who become God's children must learn to forget their past hindrances, mistakes and even wilful sins. We learn from Isaiah chapter 43 verse 18 not to keep thinking about former things or our old lifestyle. Sure we all did wrong but we must not keep thinking about the former things for they will not help us one bit. In fact these things will prevent us from growing into mature Christians in Christ. The flesh, the world and the devil have a bad habit of keeping people chained to their past. Jesus has freed us and given all who believe, a new life of liberty, in Him. All our past mistakes were washed away through Jesus' shed blood on the Cross, when we repented of them.
Thinking Good Things
In Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 we learn how to have victory over our mind and our emotions. Every believer is to think about things that are true. Don't take on board the opinions of other people, unless it is based on God's word, the Bible. We are to think about things which are honourable and respectful about other people. If something is honest we are to think about it. Only think pure and wholesome thoughts that edify and are not sexually orientated. Think about beautiful objects in nature or in art or in music and particularly that are part of God's creation. Think about good reports that are well worthy and desirable to be part of our godly lifestyle. Anything that is worthy of praise and has spiritual value must be our guide to having a clean and honourable mind.
Christians Must be Lovers
Christians are exhorted to love. Matthew chapter 22 verses 32 to 40 tells us to first love the Lord our God with all our heart or spirit, all our soul or mind and all our strength or body and to love everyone else as we would love ourselves. All God's words and commandments are founded on these premises. We don't just love those who love us such as family, relatives and friends but everyone we know and meet. We must have a loving attitude. It is imperative for Christians to love other people not just with human fleshly love but with the love of God, which surpasses all earthly understanding.
You Are a New Creature
We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 that when we repent of our sins and ask Jesus to become our Lord and Saviour, our spirit person is recreated by God to become an entirely new creature. We are now a child of God and henceforth a citizen of heaven- reborn of the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Our old ideas, both spiritual and temporal, have passed away. Instead of only serving ourselves we now have a growing desire to do God's will and purposes and to be genuinely involved in helping others. In particular, we desire to share the gospel with them so they also can live a life of fullness and wisdom, in Christ.
Living Life in the Spirit of God
Reading Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 to 25 we are informed of how to live according to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. For every Christian it is so important to develop the fruits of the Holy Spirit, in our own spirit. All the fruits represent living an unselfish life towards God and other people. The fruit of greatest importance, is love. Everyone needs and responds to genuine unselfish love. The next fruit is joy. This is not just happiness because of good things and good circumstances but rather an inner bubbling up of thankfulness towards God and His life in us. We want to be good and to be faithful in all that God and others give us to do. Gentleness towards others is how we learn to live. Over time we become more self controlled concerning our thoughts, speech and actions. We are beginning to mature in God's way of living. Our sinful nature is being crucified so that we can more readily serve the Lord and other people. Rather than just living our life by our former passions and desires.
Passing from Death to Life
Our new life in Christ is enabling each one of us to walk the eternal pathway of life. This we learn from 1 John chapter 3 verses 14 and 15. All God's children have passed from eternal death to everlasting life. Their future is love, joy and peace, through Jesus Christ, to the honour and glory of the Father. Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil and has given us His authority, over the devil, to do the same. Those who do not love God and His word live in eternal spiritual death. How do we know that we have passed from death to life? It is because we love all our fellow brothers and sisters with the assurance of God's kind of love. Those that hate other people are murderers and God's love is not in them. No unrepentant murderer has eternal life abiding in them. Keep on walking on the eternal way through faith in God and His word. God, as the Creator of the world, guarantees His pathway for all His children, for evermore. Always trust and obey Him. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. <![CDATA[You Are True Royalty -9th January 2023]]>Mon, 09 Jan 2023 02:27:28 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-true-royalty-9th-january-2023Picture
Royalty Is Special
There is something about royalty that is very satisfying to the human being. Perhaps it is being in charge or seeming to give stability. It may be having others wait upon you or having all your physical needs met. What ever is the real reason, most people would be delighted to be considered for a royal blue blood position or inherit royalty by birth. As Christians you have now arrived and are now positioned into the greatest royal family in the universe, the family of God. You are sons and daughters of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. For those who are blood bought heirs He is worshipped and obeyed. His royal rule is not for just a few years but forever. The same applies for all those who are His believing children. They all have eternal life and are now part of His eternal kingdom.
What Is the Kingdom of God?
We learn about the kingdom of God in Romans chapter 14 verse 17. It is not, like many earthly kingdoms, consisting of mainly eating and drinking and doing what each one of us wants to do. God's kingdom is a place of righteousness, peace and joy through the empowering of the Holy Spirit. It is a place where each individual Christian is built up by the word of God, the Bible, by daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, for the good of their spiritual growth. By doing so the understanding of God's revelation knowledge, in all our life's circumstances, is exponentially increased.
Only a Kingdom for Righteous People
God's children learn about the nature of God's kingdom when they read 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 and 10. Righteous does mean their spirit is perfect but having said that, everyone called by God the Father, can become righteous through the repenting of their sins and then being cleansed by Christ's shed blood. All unrighteous people have no share in the kingdom of God. This includes sexually immoral, those who are idolatrous and worship other gods, those who are adulterous or effeminate ( not following the true created pathway of being either male or female ) and all those who practise homosexuality or lesbianism. It also includes those who practise thieving; those who abuse other people with vile words, including intimidating humiliation and use insulting and slanderous words about other people, as well as swindlers. None who participate in these evils, without repenting, will inherit any part of the kingdom of God.
No Longer a Slave
Galatians chapter 5 verses 4 to 7 tells us that when it was God's right time, Jesus was sent to redeem us from being slaves under the law and we became His adopted sons and daughters. All those who are born again, blood bought Christians, have received the Holy Spirit into their hearts. They now have God's Spirit within them so that they have become His legitimate heirs in Christ, inheriting eternal life and the privileges of the kingdom. We have become His own royal children; princes and princesses of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His children cry out to Him recognising that the lord is their true Father. In Aramaic language we call Him : 'Abba', our Father. No longer are we slaves of the world, the flesh and the devil but we are His true sons and daughters and therefore His royal children.
We Are Chosen Royalty
In 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9 and 10 we learn that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and have become His holy, righteous people. No more are we outsiders looking in but we are His people acknowledged as such by the ruler of the universe. Christians are connected to the Lord, as His own chosen ones, so that we may proclaim His word through His wonderful deeds and perfections to all who are called out of darkness into His marvellous light. At one time we were like most people- far away from God's kingdom of light. We are now God's own people, chosen by God as His royalty, to serve Him forever. Those who have repented have received His everlasting mercy through his gracious gift of eternal life.
The Only Everlasting Kingdom
Those who love the Lord read in Revelation chapter 11 verse 15 that when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet, all the kingdoms of the earth become the kingdoms of our God. The dominion that Satan deceptively took from Adam, in the Garden of Eden, has been fully restored to God and His royal children. This dominion only rightfully belongs to our Father God and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. We, as fellow heirs with Christ, are also fully partakers of His kingdom and its eternal provisions and blessings.
God's Righteous Judgements
The Lord rules and judges the nations in His perfect righteousness. God will strike down all rebellion, witchcraft and evil, created by diabolical thoughts, speech and actions of Satan and is demonic cohorts and then perpetrated through the mind, will, emotions and unredeemed spirits of mankind. These people have rejected the Holy Spirit's revelation of who Jesus is, as revealed through God's word, the Bible. They have deliberately had their minds or souls blinded by Satan and have believed the cancerous lies that have been given to them and have lived lives of wantonness and evil. In short, they have rejected God and His word and have delighted themselves in deceptions. God's children, as loyal and royal subjects of God, have instead delighted the Lord by accepting God's word and His eternal rule. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[From Glory to Glory --2nd January 2023]]>Mon, 02 Jan 2023 03:07:33 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/from-glory-to-glory-2nd-january-2023Picture
Growing in Glory
Everyone should be growing in God's glory and every true believer in Jesus must be growing into the glory of His likeness. Each one must make a quality, wholehearted decision, to follow the Lord, daily. Make time to read a portion of God's word, the Bible and then meditate upon the wealth of understanding found there. Confess God's word over your circumstances and apply to all the situations of your life. Always keep praying for the breaking off of Satan's power and always keep praising and thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family. You must be obedient to the Holy Spirit's instructions as you grow each day into a greater anointing of His glory.
God Dwells With His People
We read about God dwelling with His people from Ezekiel chapter 37 verses 26 to 28. The Lord has made an everlasting covenant of peace with His children. His sanctuary is and will be in and among His people. Everyone, from every nation, both believer and unbeliever will know that the Lord is, without doubt, the leader of His people and the Creator of all things. God's people are sanctified and set apart, from the unbelievers, as His special chosen ones.
Our Temple Has the Greater Glory
We learn about this in Haggai chapter 2 verse 9. The latter temple has far greater glory than the temple in Jerusalem. As beautiful as it was it does not compare with the millions of temples, of the Holy Spirit, found in every continent and country in the world. Those who are born again, of the Spirit of God, are the real everlasting temples of God. We are the latter temples where God dwells. God declares that in His chosen temples He will place His Spirit with its ultimate peace, joy and prosperity.
His Real Temples
In Acts chapter 7 verse 48 we read that God, the Holy One, does not live in temples made by man's hands. As beautiful as thousands of Christian cathedrals are, from all around the globe, many of them hundreds of years old, they are not the real temples of God. God's born again children are the true temples of God, constructed and consecrated by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
Understanding the True Temple
Christians, instead of admiring man made edifices, need to realise that they are the real temples of God. This information is revealed to us in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16 and 17. The church, individually and corporately, is the true body of Christ, His eternal temples. The Holy Spirit dwells permanently in His people. We must allow Him to build His glory into our temple. It is our responsibility to allow Him to do so. If we have corrupt thoughts and speak hateful words and carry out dishonourable acts against ourselves and other people, we are destroying our temple and diminishing its glory. If we repent we are forgiven. We must repent because God cannot allow people to destroy His holy temple that He has created for us to live in. He has no alternative but to allow our house or body to be destroyed if we keep on disobeying Him and His word.
We See His Greater Glory
In 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 18 the plan of His greater glory is revealed. We are to flee deceptions and falsehoods and see more clearly who Jesus is and His glory. Doing so we become more willing to make a firm decision to obey and follow Him. We are progressively being transformed into His glory by partaking of who He really is. Each moment of our life we can be transformed from one degree of glory to another greater degree. This glory radiates from our association and willing obedience to the Lord. This brings honour and glory to the Father and increases the glory of who we are in Him.
Becoming His Dwelling Place
Ephesians chapter 2 verses 19 to 22 informs us of God's dwelling place with His children. We are no longer strangers or outsiders of God's kingdom but we have become fellow citizens and heirs of the household of God. The foundation of our faith is the teaching of the apostles and prophets found in the Old and the New Testaments of the Bible. This marvellous eternal structure continues to enable us to grow into a holy temple in the Lord of which we are an individual and corporate part. All true Christians are set apart and made sacred in the presence of the Lord. We all must have fellowship with Him and with others so that we are being daily built up into a dwelling place with God. This occurs through the Holy Spirit, in communion with our spirit and with all those who love and serve the Lord.
Greater Glory Only in Christ
We learn from Colossians chapter 2 verses 8 to 10 that our greater glory only develops in Christ and never through the vain deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. It never comes from man made credos such as philosophical understandings. Nor does it come through intellectual babble nor through tradition or experiences but only through the teachings of Jesus Christ and His word, the Bible. In the Lord dwells the fullness of God expressing the complete essence of His divinity. In Him we are made complete for He is the head over all rule and authority, whether in heaven or on earth. Our complete glory only comes to our spirit and being through Him and not through ourselves or other people or worldly institutions. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Your Complete Freedom - 28th November 2022]]>Mon, 28 Nov 2022 03:21:42 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-complete-freedom-28th-november-2022Picture
Only in Jesus Is There Complete Freedom
It is so important to realise, that only in Jesus will any person have complete freedom. This freedom is for everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. When they repented of their sins their very thoughts, speech and actions became eternally cleansed and washed away, by the Lord's shed blood, on the Cross. Any time each person genuinely repents of a wrong thought, word or action, they are completely cleansed and made whole. Satan and his demons are constantly endeavouring to remind people of former sins, but thank God when a person repents, they are made completely free. God not only forgives but their iniquities are also forgotten. Repentance brings absolute freedom to all who are willing to believe.
Life Is in the Blood
Leviticus chapter 17 verse 11 informs us that the life of all people is in their blood. Christ's life was in the blood that He shed for all of humanity. It was the blood of Jesus Christ that secured our atonement or our complete redemption. Upon repentance we became God's children. Our spirit was renewed as we were remade into God's image. We were transferred from the kingdom of Satan's darkness and into the Kingdom of God and His complete life.
Freedom for People and Their Country
All who love the Lord have been made free and so, as they pray and intercede, for others, the more their country will be freed from the degradation that occurs because of the evil forces of Satan and his demonic hordes. We are told about this freedom in I Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14. If all of God's children humble themselves and pray and genuinely seek God and then turn from their wicked ways, God will hear their petitions from heaven. He will not only hear them but also answer their requests. The Lord will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land from all kinds of corruptive activities; from all forms of crime and financial disaster and all forms of sickness and disease. God's people can control the activities of Satan and bind up the effect of his lies and deceit.
We Are Completely Forgiven
Every person needs to read, meditate and absorb the truths contained in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and for our sins of injustice and wrong doing. Our deserved punishment and that of everyone else, fell completely on Him. As well the need for healing for our spirit, soul and body, was completely accomplished by Him for all who repent and believe.
Everyone Can Have Complete Freedom
John chapter 8 verse 36 makes the realisation of our freedom completely clear, to all who believe. Jesus, as the second person of the Trinity, is God's only begotten Son. Because He obeyed His Father and went and died for our sins and went to hell, and was then resurrected on our behalf, He became the sin bearer for us. He also became the eternal Saviour for all mankind, who believe in Him. As a result, He alone, has made it possible for all people to have complete freedom and be able to inherit His incredible gift of eternal life.
Blessed and Free Children of God
We are free because God's word tells us that we are free. This we read in Romans chapter 5 verse 9 that all believers are justified people; they are free from all forms of sins' guilt and shame. How was this possible? Only possible because the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth was shed to redeem mankind from their sins. In so doing, all believers have been freed from God's wrath and the penalty of their sins, and the torments of everlasting hell.
Christ Has Given Us Freedom
In Galatians chapter 5 verse 1 we read that Christ has made us free from the law. His grace has given us freedom through Christ's shed blood on the Cross of Calvary. All who repent and turn to Christ have been made free from the entanglements and deceits of Satan and His demonic hordes. No Christian should ever become enticed again with His lies. We are all bought with the price of God's own blood and we have liberty from the flesh, he world and the devil. As God's children we must exercise our liberty daily, by reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to our situations and obeying the instructions of the Holy Spirit.
Our Eternal Freedom
In Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12 and chapter 10 verse 17 God promises all born again believers, that all the sinful thoughts, speech and sinful actions committed by us He has forgiven and will never remember them. Why is this so? It is because our eternal Lord and Saviour has not only forgiven us but has, on purpose, forgotten our iniquities. Everyone who believes is forever forgiven and their sins forgotten. You are forever free from all condemnation and shame in Christ.
When We Sin As His Children
All who sin unconsciously or even deliberately, can have a continuing everlasting forgiveness, when they repent. We read about this in 1 John chapter 1 verses 6 and 7. Always we must live in the light as revealed by the Holy Spirit. We must repent and never walk in darkness. When we walk in the light, because He is the light, we are able to have continuing fellowship with Him and with all who love the Lord. The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Keep on thanking Him for the cleansing power of His precious blood which gives you and I continual freedom, from sin, for evermore!

<![CDATA[You Are Redeemed -21st November 2022]]>Mon, 21 Nov 2022 03:15:26 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-redeemed-21st-november-2022Picture
Redeemed to Serve God
What does redeemed mean? It means that you have been purchased or bought back by the Lord. You have been taken out of the Kingdom of darkness and have been placed in the Kingdom of light because you repented from your sins and have had them cleansed and washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now you are a child of God and belong to the family of God and have been given the gift of eternal life. Your old sinful nature has been replaced by your redeemed spirit, which enables you to live a new life in Christ.
The Only True Redeemer
In Job chapter 19 verse 25 we learn that Job knew who his Redeemer and Vindicator was. Job would be raised up on the Last Day, as a redeemed person. He would be vindicated or shown to be righteous before his Creator, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was his Redeemer and although he lived thousands of years ago, he would be resurrected with all of God's true saints, from both the Old and New Testaments. Job's Redeemer is our Redeemer, this very day, as we all, that are still alive, wait patiently and expectantly, for His triumphant return.
Redeemed from Oppression
Life without hope can be a meaningless life. It can be fraught with unbelief, doubt, depression and oppression of all kinds. From Psalm 72 verse 14 we learn that God desires to and can deliver us, from all our anxieties and satanic deceits. We can be kept from and freed from oppression by our enemy, Satan and from evil fraudulent schemes of mankind, if we hand our life over to the lord. To do so we must first repent of our sins and then daily remember to read God's word, the Bible and then meditate upon it, confess it over our lives and apply it to our current circumstances. As well we must heed the Holy Spirit's instructions and obey them.
Our Redeemer Is the Lord of Hosts
Jeremiah chapter 50 verse 34 informs us that our Redeemer is strong. He is the only true God of the universe. He is the Lord of Hosts who lives eternally in heaven and overseas the plans of all who call upon His name. Jesus and the Holy Spirit plead our case and our needs before the throne of God, our Father, in heaven. He always answers those who have repentant hearts and minds so that He can bring peace and joy to their lives. God is always able to lead us and provide for us, no matter the need, if we allow Him to do so.
The Imminent Return of Our Redeemer.
From Luke chapter 21 verse 28 we are told that our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, is ever awaiting His return to rescue His children. As people turn to the lord He is able to comfort His children. As the world, in large numbers, are turning away from the Lord, He stands aside, because He is not welcomed by the unfaithful. As He does so, Satan takes advantage of the situation to steal, kill and destroy the unbelievers. Great famines and diseases as well as mighty earthquakes and disasters, are coming upon the world's people, from Satan and various demonic sources. People are oppressed by the lack of finances or lower wages and lies and deceit become the order of the day. As more and more devilish behaviour and denial of God's word becomes rampant, so the world develops into a more and more evil place, for all who do not believe God's word. This results in greater evil, in the last days, as people become lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. The Lord's return is imminent in order to cut short the evil and rescue His children from a dying world.
His Ransomed Children
We learn that God revealed to His children, His plan of their redemption. This is revealed in 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30. By repenting from our sins we were made righteous and acceptable to God, through Christ's shed blood. We then were sanctified unto God. This made us holy and set apart for God's work. Now we are redeemed for His service and we are thankful and full of praise for what He has achieved in our lives. The Lord provided Himself as the ransom for the penalty of our sins.
Redeemed from the Curse
All of God's children are redeemed from the curse that comes through the law. Our redemption has been purchased by the Lord and has given us complete freedom in Him, to do His will and purposes. We read about this in Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. No person can fully fulfil the demands of the law and the perfection required by the law that condemned us to spiritual oblivion and damnation. Christ was crucified on the Cross of Calvary for everyone who would believe in Him. Dying on the Cross was a curse. The Lord became a curse for us and He took away the penalty for our sins, which we rightly deserved. Jesus Christ became our eternal Redeemer. We have overcome the flesh, the world and the devil, in and through Jesus.
Redemption Through his Grace
Christians are not redeemed through their own effort but completely by God's grace. This revelation can become ours by reading Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7. We have been delivered for salvation by the acceptance of His death and resurrection on our behalf and through His shed blood. This has given us eternal forgiveness and a complete pardon for all our sins. When we do sin, at any time, we can be pardoned of any further sin by our willingness to repent.
Redeemed As His Special People
From Titus chapter 2 verse 14 we learn that we have been cleansed from all wickedness. He has chosen us and purified us to be a special people; His own possession. We no longer can do our own thing for we are His children. Every Christian must be joyful and enthusiastic to do His will and purposes. We must be eager to spread the gospel among those who are spiritually, dying. Redeemed people must be full of His Spirit enlightening their spirit and be willing to live a life of goodness that is well pleasing to God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. <![CDATA[God's Discipline Is Righteous - 14th November 2022]]>Mon, 14 Nov 2022 03:57:22 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-discipline-is-righteous-14th-november-2022Picture
Discipline Is Important
Whether we are aware of it or not, discipline is an important part of most peoples' everyday life. We need to be disciplined in order to get up and catch our bus or train to work or to make sure that when we drive our car, we can get there on time for our job situation or doctor's appointment. Children are trained from an early age to get to school on time and back home after school. We really cannot live our life properly, if we do not practise, at least, some type of discipline. Our everyday work demands that we are disciplined in the use of skills required to carry out our work procedures. This may be in a hospital or factory or in any commercial enterprise and even in artistic performances. The world God has created requires people to be disciplined and not live in a haphazard manner.
The Lord Disciplines His People
We read in Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 5 that God disciplines His children. Christians know, in their heart or inner person, that God disciplines and teaches His children. He also gives instruction to parents how to discipline or correct their children. We are to read God's word and listen to the Holy Spirit's instructions in the way we are to raise our children in His way and not the ways of the flesh, the world and the devil. Children, who are not disciplined, according to God's ways, can end up on intoxicating drink and drugs and then be prevented from fulfilling the gifts, God has given them. Their lives can become fruitless, wayward and often useless.
Be Thankful for God's Discipline
How thankful we must be for the wonderful way God leads and guides and disciplines us so that we learn to follow His ways and not our own! God's children must not reject or despise His instructions. Listen carefully to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to His prompting. Sometimes, things that would hinder our spiritual progress, are blocked by the lord. To keep following false ideas or advice can cause up much suffering and sorrow. The Lord warns us in Job chapter 5 verse 17, to be happy and content in Him.
Love and Discipline Go Together
In Proverbs chapter 3 verse 12 we learn that God loves all His children and proves it by correcting them. He leads His children in His loving care. All diligent parents, who truly love the Lord, must be willing to do the same. Parents love will be best shown by correcting in love, so that their child or children learn to keep away from harm and danger. If we really love our children, we will correct and discipline them so that they can enjoy their life and glorify the Father, in Jesus' name.
Train Your Child
Every child needs to be trained properly, according to God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit. How important this is? We are instructed from Proverbs chapter 22 verse 6 just how important this task, really is! Parents need to teach their children about God and His wisdom, from an early age. It is never to soon to start! The child needs to know that they have been gifted by God with specific abilities and talents. These skills are to be used not only to help other people but also to bring honour and glory to God the Father. They need to be correctly trained using God's word as a foundation. Each day, children need to learn to read, confess and apply God's word to the home and school situations and in all their relationships with other people. The crunch time for this instruction is that when they grow older they will not depart from using the wisdom of God.
God's Method of Discipline
In Proverbs chapter 22 verse 15 we learn about God's understanding and God's method of discipline. Because of the fallen nature of mankind, children are born with foolishness in their spirit and soul. Their inclination, when young, is to do foolish things, without knowledge and understanding, of consequences. God directs parents to use the rod of correction upon a young child's body so that they will not keep continuing in their foolish ways and end up harming themselves, as well as other people. It must be administered in love, for the child and for their protection. When applied consistently, with godly wisdom, the child will be deterred from thinking, saying and doing violent and foolish things. Satan fights the right of parents and guardians to use corporal punishment, to chastise children because he knows it will turn children away from following his evil and foolish ways.
Undisciplined Children Bring Shame
Christians learn from Proverbs chapter 29 verse 15 that the use of the rod of correction and reproof brings godly wisdom into the heart or spirit of the child. Children who get their own way rather than obeying the godly teaching of their parents, bring themselves and their family into disrepute or shame. Young people must learn to be obedient and not answer back, nor learn to steal or lie or to have contempt for those in authority and ultimately for God and His word. The evil root of disobedience in homes, schools and society, can be attributed to wrong or poorly administered discipline in a child's formative years.
God Disciplines for Our Own Good
We find out why God disciplines us when reading 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 32. When we wander off His chosen way, the Lord disciplines us with His own correction, so that we will not be condemned, along with the world to eternal punishment. God's correction enables us to walk in His way while on earth and also enables us to have the delights of everlasting life rather than the torments of hell.
Father's Love Your Children
In Malachi chapter 4 verse 6 we learn that God will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children's hearts to their fathers. Fathers have to love their children by disciplining them. Don't place upon them resentment to the point of exasperation, over trivial, unreasonable or abusive demands. Don't show favouritism but rather teach them the word of God with loving kindness, according to the instructions contained in God's word, the Bible.
God's Discipline Produces Righteousness
Hebrews chapter 12 verse 11 sheds true light on the why of discipline. During our childhood years our parents disciplined us. At the time, it was painful, physically and emotionally. As we learnt from our foolish or deliberate mistakes we became inheritors of God's peace and His fruit of righteousness. This enabled us to come into a right standing of God's will and purposes and a lifestyle that was pleasing to the lord. Our disciplining enabled us to become more willing to accept God's gifts of salvation and eternal life.
God Disciplines Us in His Love
All who God loves He tenderly rebukes and disciplines. He shows them their faults and false ideas and instructs them in His righteousness so that they will be willing to repent. In so doing our inner person or spirit is renewed in the image of God. We are willing, then, to forsake our old sinful thinking and ways and seek God's will and purposes and follow Him and His ways. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Stand Fast - 7th November 2022]]>Mon, 07 Nov 2022 03:57:03 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/stand-fast-7th-november-2022Picture
Stand Your Ground
What does stand fast mean? It means to stand firm on the foundations that you believe. In this case, whatever is proclaimed in God's word, the Bible. Throughout our life, particularly as we become adults, we learn to stand for various issues that affect our personal lives, the lives of family members and close friends. Often taking one side of a problem or against the tyranny of evil people or just plain obstinate relationships, is a part of everyone's life. When we go to the election booth to vote, we learn to take a stand for the things, we regard, as being important. As Christians, we must learn to stand our ground against all the evil that comes our way, through the flesh, the world and the devil. When we take our stand for God's truth, it must be based on God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit.
Don't Be Intimidated
Joshua was warned by God, not to be intimidated by the evil that abounded in the land of Canaan. We read about this warning in Joshua chapter 1 verse 9. God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous. Every Christian must do likewise, against the evil of the world they live in. Like Joshua, we must not be terrified by threats or dismayed when not everything goes as well, as we planned. Always remember that God and His power, lives within you and from God's throne in heaven, emanates all real authority, over the lives of all God's creation.
Be Strong in the Lord
No Christian can defeat and overcome the evils of the flesh, the world and the devil, in their own strength, alone. However we can be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We are told this in Ephesians chapter 6 verses 10 and 11. We are to be strong and empowered through our union with Christ. Christians must draw their strength from the Lord and through His boundless power and might. This we can do by putting on the whole armour of God. His precepts from His word, the Bible, enable us to become His warriors through His might. In so doing, we will secure complete victory, over all the schemes and strategies and the deceits of Satan and his demonic hordes.
Just Keep Standing
By reading Galatians chapter 5 verse 1, we are instructed to stand firmly so that the freedom that was brought about for everyone, by Christ's resurrection, will prevail in our lives and in the lives of other Christians. All born again people must stand strong and keep standing, against oppressions of all kinds, remembering that our fight is not against other people but rather against the Prince of the Power of the Air, Satan. Importantly, we must keep standing, as long as it takes. We can, in the Lord's power, keep standing. Always keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to your circumstances. In doing this you are guaranteed God's victory, against all kinds of evil and oppression.
Know How to Stand
It is so important for us to distinguish what and who we are standing against. Don't just follow the crowd, even those who claim to be doing God's will and purposes. Always listen to and know what the Holy Spirit is telling you and obey His revelation knowledge. We learn about true discernment from Hebrews chapter 5 verse 14. All Christians need to train their spiritual senses, through the word of God, in order to properly comprehend the realities of good and evil and not just what other people or the media inform us. We must be able to discern what is morally and spiritually evil and what is right according to God's word.
Use God's Armour to Stand
We learn about God's armour from Ephesians chapter 6 verses 13 to 18. In order to resist and overcome our enemy we must be fully armoured, just like a soldier going to battle. We are fighting a very cruel and crafty enemy, called Satan and his band of demons. Using God's armour we can successfully win the battle, in the evil day. When we put on the whole armour, we must not just stand for a moment but we also must keep standing for as long as it takes. Our mighty spiritual weapons, in our arsenal, include the band of truth, which is our personal integrity. We must also wear the breastplate of righteousness, which is a cleansed and upright heart. The gospel of God's peace must be strapped to our feet. Next we lift up the protective covering of the shield of faith. Upon our head is the helmet of salvation and in our hand we wield, the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Over our armour we raise the weaponry of all kinds of prayer, believing that the Lord has answered us.
Hold Fast in Your Resolution
We learn from 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 6 to 9 to resist Satan's onslaughts and temptations. First of all we humble ourselves, under the hand of God so that God can exalt us. Secondly, we must learn to cast all our cares upon Him, that is all our worries and concerns. Each Christian must remain sober and alert in the battle. Satan prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking to devour the unwary. We must remain rooted and established on the word of God and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian, around the world, is constantly in this battle of lies and deception, that is Satan's means of attack. When we have battled in God's power for awhile, often a long while we always overcome the devil's wicked devices. Our firm resolution must be to serve the Lord, at all costs.
Keep Going!
Always hold fast to the Lord and His word. All born again believers must spend time in God's word, daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to their own circumstances. It is imperative that they obey the Holy Spirit's directions in order to live a peaceful life. As each one of us keep standing faithfully, against the enemy, consistently and confidently, we will win the earthly battle, against the flesh, the world and the devil. Your victory is guaranteed by Christ, Himself.

You Need Help
Everyone on planet earth needs help; some more than others. The important issue is that you cannot do many things by yourself. What is even more important is an ability to recognise when you really need help. Mankind has been created to worship their Creator. Without God's help, you plainly will never really make it. Salvation can be had by every person who is willing to repent from their sins and accept, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour. Those who are willing to hear and obey the Holy Spirit's promptings to their spirit, are the blessed people who will receive the help they so desperately, need.
Listen Carefully
Listen carefully to what the Holy Spirit is telling you so you can obtain good godly help. Don't listen to your own thoughts and act upon them but rather listen to what God is telling your spirit; for this is the best plan for your life.
Your Refuge and Your Help
Psalm 46 verse 1 informs us that God is our real helper. He is our strength. Any trouble can be easily and correctly, sorted out by the Lord. Having trouble paying your bills? Ask the Lord for His help. Having relationship problems? Don't worry! God has got your perfect answer. Need to know the best place to find your healing, then seek counsel and comfort from God's word? The Lord always knows what is best for you and He is the ultimate help, for all His children.
Be Refreshed by the Lord
Real help and refreshment for our spirit, soul and body, comes from our fellowship with the lord. We read about this wonderful blessing in Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 to 30. Everyone who is bowed down, by the world's thoughts; by fear and mistrust and depression, are to come to Jesus and He will give them rest. This rest can be permanent and free from the burdens of religious and worldly rituals, that provide no real rest. Learn to do God's will and purposes and be obedient to the Lord. Jesus who is gentle and humble in heart and you will find the wonderful help and rest you have been longing for. The Lord's instructions and His burdens are easy and designed for mankind to bear.
Your True Helpers
We are informed by God the Holy Spirit, about our true helpers, for our life, in John chapter 14 verses 14 to 18. If we are willing to ask the Father, in Jesus' name, for anything, He will hear us and answer us. No matter what the need, whether financial, for our health, our family, our work or relationship situations, our Father will answer us with the perfect solution, for our problem. The Father has also sent us the Holy Spirit, to guide us in our daily walk. The Holy Spirit will not only be our Helper but also our Comforter, our Advocate or lawyer, our Intercessor and our Counsellor, as well as our Strengthener and Standby. We can always call on the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and to be our standby, in times of need. He knows everything and is also known as the Spirit of Truth, who will always give us discernment and understanding, in every aspect of our life.
Listen to the Spirit of Truth
We read about the Spirit of Truth, who is the Holy Spirit, in John chapter 16 verses 13 and 14. He will guide every born again person into revelation of God's knowledge and His truth. Whatever is a problem in our lives or in the world, we will no longer be held in bondage by the deceit of the flesh, the world and the devil. Only Christians can access God's truth because they are willing to ask and then believe, what the Holy Spirit tells them. Even the valuable truths of God's word will no longer be clouded by unbelief or by men's evil practices in life. You will have access to every aspect of life and will not keep living under unbelief and lies.
The Holy Spirit Gives Wisdom and Strength
The Paraclete or the Holy Spirit is such a wonderful helper. We learn this from Romans chapter 8 verse 26. The Holy Spirit comes to help us any time we ask but especially, in our times of weakness. Often we are not sure of what to pray for or how to pray for our own situations or when interceding for other people or circumstances. Without any hesitation, the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and shows us what to pray for and how to pray. The Lord knows our needs and comes to help us, at the right time. He intercedes before the throne of the Father, on our behalf, with sighs and groanings to deep for words or human understanding.
The Lord Helps With All Our Requests
The Holy Spirit, as well as Jesus Christ our Saviour, both dwell in the lives of every born again Christian. They are our helpers who enable us to overcome in every situation or circumstance, we face in life. This can be human or spiritual and can be in our mind, emotions or our body. We learn from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18 that we are to pray for help at all times and upon every occasion and every season. We pray through our spirit to the Lord. God enables us to focus on the answers to our prayers and to keep on persevering in His strength until God's answer is made manifest. This is particularly important when interceding for other people as well as our own circumstances. Always be patient and persevering and never give up.
Get Your Help from the Lord
We must always seek our help from the Lord if we are to be successful in life. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10 tells us how to do it. Each of us must be strong in the Lord and the power or His might. We can do this by daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to our life's situations and listening and carefully obeying the instructions of the Holy Spirit. In doing this consistently we gain wonderful help and guaranteed success in life. Keep on getting God's help! It will work for you! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Where Is Your Heart -24th October 2022]]>Mon, 24 Oct 2022 03:09:05 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/where-is-your-heart-24th-october-2022Picture
                                         Let Your Heart Rule
Where your heart or inner person is will determine where your treasure is. If your heart is foremost on your circumstances or your income or your possessions or a particular talent or skill, then that's where your heart is. If your heart is inclined to God and to righteousness and truth, that's where your heart and treasure is. Listening to the Holy Spirit, as He gives you instructions from God's word, is a very important factor, in determining how well your life will be and how much you will overcome, the flesh, the world and the devil. Being obedient to the Lord, will allow your heart to rule and be fully satisfied.
God Knows Your Heart
We learn a very important fact about God in 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse 7. The Lord looks at our heart or inner person and not as we often do, at the appearance of things. Samuel was looking upon the brothers of David but they were rejected by God because the lord knew their hearts, were not faithful, towards Him. Every Christian is required to have spiritual discernment, to know what is the real situation, in our circumstances. Never just look at the outward appearance of things. Make your decision on what the Holy Spirit is telling your spirit today. Don't base your decisions on previous knowledge.
Your Heart's Desire
Psalm 84 verse 2 informs us that God must be the desire of our hearts. We are to long for the courts or presence, of the Lord. This means His goodness and wisdom and His presence in all our life's decisions and our attitudes. Our very beings must long to be in the presence of God; acknowledging His directions and listening to His voice, within us. Not only our hearts or spirits but also our will, our mind, our emotions and our bodies must be in accordance with His will and purposes for us.
Be a Diligent Person
Diligence in all we do, must be our standard in life. In Proverbs 4 verse 23 we learn that everything we do, must be attuned, to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. It will always be in accordance with God's word. Out of your inner person, flow the issues of life, which will affect your faith walk, your relationships, your health, your finances and everything that God desires you to do.
Check Your Conscience
It is important to realise that your conscience, is the voice of your person, the real you. This we learn from reading Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27. Our spirit is the lamp or light, by which we hear, what the Holy Spirit desires us to know about God's will for our life. The Holy Spirit searches out and examines all our desires and motives: our very thoughts are known to God. Remember, every part of our being is known to God.
Have An Upright Heart
Only God knows the true condition of your heart. According to Proverbs chapter 23 verse 7a it is essential to have an upright heart, with good intentions and desires. As we think in our heart and our mind, so will we be. Our thoughts determine our outward behaviour and our actions towards other people. Are we joyful, able to assist others or are we mean hearted always grasping for number one? Our hearts will show us, whether we are maturing as Christians, or whether we still have a lot of growing up, to do.
Don't Have a Deceitful Heart
Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9 informs us of the deceitfulness of our hearts and our minds. Only in repentance and seeking forgiveness from our sins, can our inner person be healed. No one, but God, fully knows just how sick the human persona can be. Jesus Christ is the only One, who can truly heal, the deceptions and evil of the human being. A cleansed heart, enables people to live, a righteous, wholesome life. To keep it so, everyone needs to keep repenting, daily, of mistakes and failures and listen to and be obedient to, the Holy Spirits promptings.
Be Sure in Your Heart
Those who are clean in their inner persons, will see God and live with Him, eternally. This we read in Matthew chapter 5 verse 8. Each person, that desires to live in a godly way must daily; read the word, meditate on the word, confess and apply the word to their lives. These people are mature Christians and know they will see their God.
Rivers of Living Water
John chapter 7 verse 38 tells us that out of our hearts or inner persons will flow, rivers of living waters. These living waters flow from the throne of God, through the Holy Spirit, to our spirit and then to our soul. All who repent of their sins and are washed in Christ's shed blood, have a continual flow of living water. This water must be the mainstream of our thoughts, speech and actions from God. This constant stream, enables us, to overcome our flesh, the world and the devil.
Listen to God's Voice
God's children are to wholeheartedly listen, to what the Holy Spirit is telling their spirit and let it flow thoroughly from their spirit, into their soul, their will, their mind and their emotions. Don't let your spirit be troubled about anything. Concentrate on reading and hearing God's word and not on your current situations or circumstances. We learn about this when reading. John chapter 14 verse 1. Just keep believing God's word and what the Holy Spirit has revealed to your spirit. By faith hold onto God's word and be obedient to the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge and you will be confident in Him and not afraid or doubting.
Having Thankful Hearts
We learn from Colossians chapter 3 verses 15 and 16, to let the Holy Spirit of God, calm our spirits. As we daily walk, communicating with God the Father and Jesus His Son, through the Holy Spirit, the will and purposes of God, become the controlling factors of our life. As we do so, we and all other true believers, become continuously thankful, to God. The word of God is now building in our hearts and minds, permeating every aspect of our life. We learn to appropriate God's wisdom, as we teach and admonish younger Christians. Each day we sing from our hearts, not just our minds, thankful songs and hymns of praise. Our hearts are listening carefully and implementing God's directions. Our hearts are in obedience to God's will and purposes!
Let Your Spirit Man Hear
It is so important that each child of God allows the ears of the inner person or their spirit to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling them to do. The Holy Spirit connects with your inner person and the inner person then relays God's wisdom to your mind or intellect. So many people are only listening to information from the pulpit or television programs or DVDs with their outer person or mind. Remember, it is always important to hear what God is saying through your inner voice or person to truly understand God's will and purposes for your life.
Listen for Your Quick Deliverance
Many people, even Christians, spend much time and effort in trying to be delivered from stress, long term grief, depression, fear and other emotions. Psalm 21 verse 2 tells us how to be quickly and fully delivered from the emotional turmoil of our lives. First of all we must be willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and apply God's word, daily. We must read appropriate verses and then meditate upon them and be willing to confess and apply God's word, to all our daily circumstances. If we incline our inner ear and listen carefully to the Holy Spirit, then we will be delivered completely, by the power of God. After all, for all born again Christians, God is our refuge and our strong fortress. He will deliver and save us if we allow Him to do so.
God Will Hear Your Prayer
The psalmists of old, longed for God to hear and answer their prayers. We learn about this from Psalm 84 verse 9. Their desire was to hear from God. In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit is living in us and we are quite able to hear what God is telling us. The important issue for us is to be ready and willing to hear what God has to say to us. Then we must be obedient and truly hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. God always answers with His truth and it is important for us to have ears that are willing to hear and to be obedient to what He tells us. Our conscience is the voice of our spirit and our spirit will always tell us what is God's will and purpose, for our life.
Open Your Ears to God's Sayings
Wisdom for opening our ears is given to us in Proverbs chapter 4 verses 20 to 23. God calls attention to His children to take notice of His word and be willing to learn from it. Our own thoughts about the matter, must be given little attention; it is what God, through the Holy Spirit and His word, the Bible, is telling us that really matters. His word must be kept constantly before us and other ideas of our own, must be put aside. God's words are life, eternal life, to everyone who finds them. They are wonderful healing for the spirit, the soul and the body. Their power is able to heal and give us long term health. They can enable all born again people, to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. We must be diligent in our constant hearing what the Holy Spirit tells us and what the word of God shows us. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are always in agreement. From the words that we hear and read, confess and apply, flow the very springs for our life and for our eternal existence.
God's Word Is Marvellous and Eternal
God's future for His children is far more glorious than we can even think or understand. We learn about this amazing fact from Isaiah chapter 64 verse 4. A major reason for our lack of understanding is that we, as human beings, have never seen or even thought of how marvellous are the creations of God. We have seen a little in such wonderful displays of nature such as the starry heavens at night, the colours of the rainbow and even the aurora borealis or aurora australis. In our personal circumstances the future is so more splendid than we can even perceive with our limited, earthly intellect and emotions. Those who wait patiently for the revelation of His abounding glory, will be fully satisfied beyond measure.
The Glory We Will Behold
Christians get a glimpse of future glory when reading 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9. We have become used to the marvels of man's technical revolution, over the past two hundred years. But what is that compared with the things which God will reveal to us, throughout the never ending space of eternity? We have not even touched the magnificence and splendour of the future, that Christians as God's children, will behold! God has and is preparing this sublime future for all who repent and love Him. We worship the Lord in affectionate reverence and obey Him now and forever. They are thankful for the mighty benefits He has bestowed upon each one of them and will bestow upon all who call upon His name.
Be Careful What You Hear
A stern warning is given to all believers and church attendees in 2 Timothy chapter 4 verses 3 and 4. There will come a time and it has already come, over the past two hundred years, when many Christian pulpits do not preach the whole word of God. Not only that but where the word is preached, many people have closed their spiritual ears and will not listen to the truth of God's word. Instead they only want to listen to preachers that preach words that agree with their own thoughts, rather than the truth, contained in God's word, the Bible, and also revealed by the Holy Spirit. They turn their ears away from hearing God's truths and listen to speakers who promote bogus teaching and error. These people turn their listeners away from the truth and these listeners wander off believing man made fictions, of which evolution is a prime example.
Jesus Warns the Churches
In Revelation chapters 2 and 3 the Lord repeatedly warns each of the then churches in Asia Minor, to listen carefully and hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Let us be diligent in reading God's word and listening to the Holy Spirit's revelation to us of the word individually and to each church, this very day!

<![CDATA[You Must Be Faithful - 11th October 2022]]>Tue, 11 Oct 2022 04:12:32 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-must-be-faithful-11th-october-2022Picture
God Requires Us to be Faithful
We have recently witnessed the faithfulness to duty of Queen Elizabeth 11 of the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth. She was faithful for more than seventy years to her loyal subjects and her innumerable duties. She had committed herself to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. In each individual person, who has given their life to the Lord, God requires each one to be faithful to Him and His word. In order to be really faithful, we must be truly obedient to Him.
We Are to Live By Our Faith In Him
We read in Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4, that all who are righteous, are to live by faith, in the only true God. This faith is further revealed n Romans chapter 1 verse 17. Our true faith emanates from God who enables us to live in lasting faith. Those who constantly read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all their circumstances, are able to live by faith. Galatians chapter 3 verse 7 echoes our dependence upon God, for His kind of faith. We live by faith, having our confidence in the power and the goodness of God. As a result, we are true sons and daughters of faithful Abraham because our lives are hidden in Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
Our Lack of Faithfulness
We learn from Matthew chapter 17 verse 20 the reason for our lack of faithfulness. A person's lack of faith usually comes through a lack of trust and confidence in God's power and His word. If your faith is as great as the size of a mustard seed; the smallest of all seeds; you will be able to say to every mountain of doubt or unbelief or any physical need, according to God's will and purposes, to be removed and it will have to move. Nothing that is according to God's will and purposes, as revealed in God's word and confirmed b the Holy Spirit to your spirit, will be impossible for you, to do.
Acquiring and Building Up Your Faith
Romans chapter 19 verse 17 tells us how to acquire and constantly build up our faith. Faith comes by hearing over and over again and meditating and confessing and applying God's word to our life's situations, over and over again. It also arises from faithful preaching, by godly people, from church pulpits. The more we read, study, meditate and confess the word, the greater becomes our walk of faith.
Our Daily Life Must Be a Faithful Life
Each day we must practise our faith walk. We are told about this in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7. Whatever the Holy Spirit has for you to do, make sure you do it. Whether this is in your personal life, your family, your workplace, or any other relationships with other people. Each step of faith counts. Don't try to figure things out just by your knowledge or experience or intelligence. Always do things by the word of God and the direction of the Holy Spirit. We must be diligent and live our life in consistent obedience to God's will and purposes.
Saved People Must Be Faithful
No one is saved unless they are convicted by the Holy Spirit and enlightened by the word of God, the Bible. In Ephesians chapter 5 verse 8 we learn that once we, like everyone who is unsaved, lived in the kingdom of darkness, under the domination of Satan. When we are saved, by God's faith in us, we are transferred into the Lord's kingdom of light. We are then to walk as children of light under the leadership of Jesus Christ, God's Son. The realms of the world, the flesh and the devil, must be left behind and not re-entered even for a moment. We are to live as faithful children of God.
Faithful People Have Assurance
God's children learn the importance of faith from Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1. Faith in God and His word is our assurance or confirmation of things hoped for. These things are divinely guaranteed for our health, finance, family or career requirements. They become the evidence of things not experienced merely by our mind or our physical senses. Our faith, in His word brings the things of God into focus and enables us to appropriate that which God desires in our life. Faith becomes the evidence of things not as yet, seen. We become faithful believers in God and His word Our faith now understands, as reality, God's will and purposes in our life.
Faithful Children Please God
We learn from Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 how we, as His children, can please Him. There are two important facts that we must know, in order, to please God. Firstly our faith in God and obedience to His word, makes our lives pleasing to God. Secondly, all who come to God must believe that He exists. There is no room for atheists and their ideas. As well we must believe that He is a re-warder of all those who obey Him, throughout their life on earth.
God Is Faithful to Forgive Us
1 John chapter 1 verse 9 tells us about God's faithfulness to His children. When we, even as Christians, admit our sins and repent from them, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. He cleanses us, through His shed blood, on a continual basis throughout our life, as soon as we repent. We learn about our need of forgiveness through His word and as the Holy Spirit prompts our spirit and we then obey Him.
God's Constant Faithfulness
From the old testament book of Lamentations chapter 3 verse 20 to 23 we learn of God's faithfulness towards us. Jeremiah, continually remembered God's mercies and always brought them to His mind. We, also must have constant regard to God's never ending compassion for our lives. His mercy never fails and when we arise, confidently on every new day, we are aware of His great faithfulness towards each one of us. What a wonderful and amazing God is our Father, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Forget Your Past - 3rd October 2022]]>Mon, 03 Oct 2022 03:32:34 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/forget-your-past-3rd-october-2022Picture
You Are Forgiven
God is willing to not only forgive us our sins but also to forget they have even existed. We must follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and do the same. When we repent of our sins God forgives us and sees us as righteous, through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross. We are not only forgiven but our sins and trespasses are forgotten. All who repent have their name recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. We have become one of God's children, inheriting His eternal life. God forgives us so we must also be willing to forgive the careless and even premeditated sins against us, by other people.
Satan Tries to Dominate God's People
We learn from Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 to 11 that Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. The first temptation was to turn stones into bread, because Jesus was hungry, having fasted for forty days and forty nights. Jesus rebuked Satan by reminding him, that it was God's word by which man was to live rather than by food, alone. Jesus then allowed Himself to be taken into a high mountain where the Lord was shown all the power and pomp of the world's kingdoms in a moment of time. They could be the Lord's if Jesus would bow down and worship Satan. Satan then tried to tempt Jesus by desiring Him to throw Himself down from the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem. The Lord reminded Satan that he was not to tempt the Lord His God. Satan then left Jesus alone for a season. Jesus repeatedly rebuked Satan for his temptations. We are to follow the Lord's example and do the same. Satan will put thoughts into your mind and try and convince you, by even manipulating your emotions, to do what is wrong. He will also remind you of past failures and mistakes. You also have the power to rebuke Satan as he endeavours to convince you, to think evil thoughts, say critical words and even perform violent and foolish acts.
You Must Rebuke Satan
It s important for you to be humble and allow God to be in charge of your life. This is an important lesson that we must learn from 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 5 to 9. Satan is very persistent and will attack your soul, even many times in one day and then may leave for a season of time. He always wants to attack you on your past or when you are feeling depressed. When your health maybe not so good or you are tired or pressed for time, are times to be aware of his attacks. Humble yourself and always be ready to resist him, with the whole armour of God. Use God's word to destroy his wicked barbs. Remind him that your sins are forgiven and that you are a child of God.
God Forgives and Forgets
From passages of God's word in both the Old and New Testaments we learn that God forgives and forgets our sins. In Isaiah chapter 43 verse 25 God tells us that He is the 'I AM who blots out mankind's transgressions, for His own sake and will not remember our sins.' From the New Testament in Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12, we are told: ' For I will be merciful towards their iniquities and I will remember their sins, no more.' If almighty God, our Father, is willing to forgive and forget our trespasses and sins, how much we must learn to practice forgiving other people their sins and our own self as well. Forget your forgiven past. Satan wants to consistently deprive us of our freedom, in Christ, so that we live weak and depressed lives. When he does this, then you tell him he has only a picture or reminder of them. After all you are now a child of God and all your past sins have been cleansed away, by Christ's shed blood. They are no longer held against you by God. Every Christian is absolutely free before the Father, forever.
Satan Has No Authority Over You
James chapter 4 verse 7 is very clear about what we need to do when Satan harasses our minds, our emotions and even our spirits. This constant barrage is about our mistakes and our failures and even our premeditated sins, from our past life. First of all we must repent and submit our whole life to the lord and serve Him as our Lord and Saviour. Then we must stand our ground, based on God's word and command him to flee. If he tries to keep standing against us then keep on opposing him in a greater measure. One of your greatest weapons is Christ's shed blood. He must and he will flee because all the power of God is behind the authority God has given us. He will flee, in terror, because he recognises that you know God's authority and power, which has been delegated to you.
Your God Given Authority
God has given, to His children, His power to rule and to reign. Adam conceded to Satan, his God given authority, to rule the earth and God's children through Jesus Christ, have been given the right, to regain that dominion, over the works of God's hands. This we learn from Psalm 8 verse 5 in the Old Testament and from Romans chapter 5 verse 17 in the New Testament. Each individual Christian, through the Lord's saving grace, is given the right to reign as kings. We are no longer under Satan's dominion, like all who are unsaved, but we have been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son. Rebuke Satan in every situation and particularly in the battle of the mind. God has given you His authority; now use it in His anointing!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Our Authority in Him - 27th September 2022]]>Tue, 27 Sep 2022 04:39:36 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/our-authority-in-him-27th-september-2022Picture
                                   All Authority Comes from God
It is important for everyone, to realise that God is the Creator of all things. He is therefore the final authority over the lives of all that live in heaven, earth and under the earth , There is no true authority of power apart from the Father, Jesus Christ, Gods Son and the Holy Spirit. The Triune God- three in One- is the final arbiter of all creation. When our spirits and our souls know that this is the real truth of our existence, then we are able, through our will to make a righteous decision or otherwise, to obey God or not to do so.
Jesus Gave His Authority to Believers
When Jesus arose from the dead He gave His children resurrection power, to carry out His plans and purposes, on planet Earth. We read about this vital information in Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 and 19. Therefore Jesus delegated His power and authority to the church. He knew how much they needed to do His work, in His authority, in order to overcome the god of this world, Satan. This diabolical fallen angel has blinded the eyes of most people including many of God's elected children, for periods of time, over many centuries. Thank God, there are those of His children, in the church, that know and practise that Satan's power is broken over their own lives and circumstances.
Man Given Dominion by God
We read in Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28 that God made mankind in His own image or likeness and gave Adam- the first man – dominion or authority, over all of God's creation. Man was made in God's spiritual likeness so that both male and female, could live forever. They were told to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth with people. The dominion given them was to rule over all of creation. However, Satan entered the scene and told Adam and Eve that they would have knowledge like God if they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, in the Garden of Eden. They were beguiled by Satan and saw that the tree grew lovely fruit that could be eaten. Eve was deceived by the Serpent, Satan, and Adam disobeyed God. Both went and ate from the fruit and from its knowledge. They were then enlightened, to the fact, that they were naked. When they disobeyed God they lost their dominion or authority so that Satan became the ruler of the world. They were now also afraid of God and hid themselves from Him. Only those who give their lives to the Lord are able to escape Satan's dominion and are enabled to be spiritually born again. They then regain God's promise of dominion and authority through salvation in Him.
Authority of the Church
Jesus is the head and His children are the body. The true believers are the true body or the real church. We read about the authority of God's children in Acts chapter 1 verse 8. This wonderful power was given to the church, on the Day of Pentecost. This authority came upon the believers who were seated in the upper room. The Holy Spirit empowered the people gathered from many nations near Israel. This anointing enabled them to become witnesses for the transforming power of the Lord's resurrection, throughout Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. Such anointing has transformed the lives of people for nearly two thousand years and is continuing so this very day and forwards until the Lord's return.
The Purpose of God's Authority
We learn from reading Romans chapter 1 verse 16, the purpose of God's empowerment for His children. Paul was not ashamed of the gospel which brought salvation to those who believed, who were dying and were lost. God's power enabled people to be rescued from God's wrath and punishment and to be saved and to inherit eternal life. When they repented they were also cleansed of their guilt and shame. This open door was available to all who genuinely repented of their sins and were willing to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Salvation was now no longer available only to the Jew but also to all the Gentiles.
We Have Authority Over Satan
Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 informs each Christian of their titanic battle over Satan and all His cohorts and evil compliant people on earth. No one has their real earthly struggle against other people. The true battle is against rulers, and world powers as well as satanic forces in this present, evil, darkness. It is mainly against Satan and demons living upon earth and in the heavenlies. To battle such we put on the whole armour of God in order to overcome and stand against their evil powers. Our armour consists firstly, of the band of truth- our personal integrity- worn around our waist. Secondly is the breastplate of righteousness; this is an upright spirit. On our feet we wear the gospel of peace. Across our body is the protective shield of faith that is able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one. Upon our head, covering our mind, will and emotions, is the helmet of salvation. In our hands we use our offensive weapon, with which we attack; namely, the sword of the Spirit; which is the word of God. Above all we use all kinds of prayer.
You Must Use God's Authority
God's authority for each of us is revealed in 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8 and 9. To enjoy the Christian walk we need to be well balanced and disciplined, alert and cautious. Our enemy, Satan, prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking to destroy people's lives. However, we are to resist him with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the faith which comes by hearing God's word, over and over again. We do not suffer or overcome alone. But are rather like all our brothers and sisters, throughout the world. We must all stand steadfast in overcoming faith. In so doing we stand our ground against Satan's onslaughts. We are and will be completely victorious in the authority delegated to us, individually and to the church corporately. The church is the true body of believers! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Find the Key -20th September 2022]]>Tue, 20 Sep 2022 04:44:05 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/find-the-key-20th-september-2022Picture
You Must Have the Right Key
Throughout their life people are constantly trying to enter new doorways or paths. It may be to overcome a bad habit or it could be trying to enter a higher level of learning or desiring to learn more about a new interest or skill. Perhaps it is in pursuing a better career or getting married or overcoming an illness or a lack of financial wealth. In every instance, there is a key that will unlock the lock to open a new door or pathway in life. It is vitally important to find the right key. God's keys are by far the most important to know about or have in your possession.
The Key of Eternal Life
We learn from Matthew chapter 16 verse 19 that Jesus told His children that they had been given the keys, to the Kingdom of Heaven. Remember, there is a right key, to open every door. The majority of people put their trust in finding an elixir of life; an eternal fountain of life. The key to open the door to eternal life is found in Matthew chapter 3 verse 2 and Acts chapter 2 verse 38. Repent of your sins and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. John chapter 3 verse 16 states that whoever believes in Jesus should not perish but have eternal life.
The Keys to Living
The keys to living a peaceful, godly life are found in Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 and 23. Here we learn about the fruits of the Holy Spirit. First of all there is love. This is followed by joy, peace, long suffering or patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. These fruits are to be developed throughout one's life, so that we are enabled to live in and through the Spirit of God and the Word of God, empowering our spirit or inner person.
The Greatest Key
The most important fact to know and appreciate is that our Father God, who is the Creator of the universe, is the God of love. We learn about this greatest of all keys from 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13. To put this wonderful fruit into practice we must also be willing to emphasise the measure of God's love that we learn about from Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 to 39. It is also absolutely important to know that in order to really love, we must love the Lord, our God, with all our heart or our spirit, all our soul and all our mind. Then we will also be able to love other people, as much as we love ourselves. We are warned about lack of love in 1 John chapter 3 verse 15. If we don't love other people, particularly our fellow Christians, we are murderers and there is no eternal life in us. It is so imperative that we love God and all who are created in His likeness.
Find the Key to Lasting Health
For many people living healthily and walking daily in health, is a major issue. Whether you are in hospital or sick at home, or whether it is long term or has just happened, it is important to know God's key to having divine health. We learn from Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 that with the cutting blows or stripes that were laid on the back of Jesus, while He was on the Cross at Calvary, we were healed. Further more in Matthew chapter 4 verse 24 we read that Jesus healed people of many different diseases and ailments. By calling on His name and also meditating and confessing healing verses from God's word, every day, you will be healed.
Key to Finances
Through God's grace and provision, the key that unlocks the door to sufficient finances is for you to be a giver and believe God will enable you to escape poverty. We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 8, that through God's grace abounding towards you, He will enable you and your family, to have sufficient for all your needs. You must trust in Him, confess His word as well as work and give to others as much as you are able to. Then your poverty will be turned into His blessings. Matthew chapter 6 verses 31 to 34 tells us that God will provide us with all our daily needs, which includes paying your bills. Keep being obedient; keep doing your part and keep trusting Him. In so doing, the key to His provision for you, will open the doors to successful living. Always put God's kingdom first and everything else will be added to you.
Always Forgive
Next to love, forgiveness is the greatest key, for unlocking God's grace and mercy. We find out when reading Matthew chapter 6 verses 14 and 15, just how important forgiveness is. If we forgive other people their unkind words and actions, even those of malicious intent, then our Father in heaven, will forgive us our sins. However, if we don't forgive others, then neither will God forgive us our sins. That means hell becomes our destiny rather than heaven. Our pattern for forgiveness is found in Colossians chapter 3 verse 13. We are to forgive others, just as Christ has forgiven us, all our sins.
Key to Spiritual Enlightenment
Spiritual discernment is vital to knowing the reality of the world that we live in, as well as understanding what the Lord requires of us. Discernment enables God's children to walk tn His light and not be overwhelmed by the deceit and lies that abound in the kingdom of darkness, which is under the control of Satan and his fallen angels. We read about discernment in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 14 to 16.
Find God's Keys for Your Life
As you read, meditate upon, confess, apply and study God's word, consistently and listen to and obey the instructions of the Holy Spirit, you will find many wonderful keys in scripture, for your life. No problem or situation or circumstance in your life will be too hard to solve. God's children must diligently follow what God has outlined in His word. You will overcome the flesh, the world and the devil and reign victoriously through God's grace. His keys open the door to eternal life.

<![CDATA[In His Righteousness -13th September 2022]]>Tue, 13 Sep 2022 03:22:24 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/in-his-righteousness-13th-september-2022Picture
What Is Righteousness?
Our righteousness means our right standing before the throne of God the Father. We can only have right standing before the Father through the righteousness that Jesus purchased for His children by His shed blood. When we repented of our sins and acknowledged Jesus Christ, God's Son, as our personal Saviour and Lord, of our life, then we became a child of God. This means we are now, one of God's children and have inherited eternal life. We have been made righteous in Him. No longer are we sinners destined for hell but we are redeemed to live with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for evermore.
Rescued from Eternal Death
Through God's great grace and His redemptive plan for His creation, we have been rescued from everlasting damnation and can now enjoy eternal salvation. We have escaped the fires of hell and we can live forever with the Lord, in the marvellous light of His heavenly kingdom. We learn about this from Proverbs chapter 10 verse 2. As we live our daily walk, in the Christian faith, step by step, day by day, listening to the Holy Spirit and reading God's word, we have not only been justified but also we are becoming sanctified or made holy through Him.
The Effect of Righteousness
The righteousness of God is extremely effective in the lives of millions of Christians, now and down through the centuries. We read about this in Isaiah chapter 32 verse 17. First of all it brings peace between marriage partners; between family members and relatives; between friends and acquaintances and even between communities and countries. Secondly, it has brought the result of bringing quietness into our differing opinions and helps to bring confidence in people and things, that are righteous. Peaceful relationships promote peaceful situations.
The Lord Is Our Righteousness
All Christians are fully protected by the armour of the Lord. This we learn from Isaiah chapter 59 verse 17. This armour of righteousness enables our salvation to be eternally secured. Salvation is like a helmet that protects our head and therefore our spirit, our will, our mind and our emotions. The Lord has a garment of vengeance arrayed against the evil of Satan, the world and our flesh. His endless zeal is like a cloak that He wears because of His great love, for His children.
Follow Daniel's Advice
Important information is given to us in Daniel chapter 4 verse 27. Daniel was an upright person and was therefore able to give righteous advice, to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Later on the king having been brought low and made to realise that it is God, who rules the lives of mankind. Daniel had advised the king to break off his sinful past and show forth repentance in doing what was right and be merciful to those who were poor. As Christians, we must do the same and in so doing, promote righteousness in all we do, particularly as the Holy Spirit convicts our spirit. We then can think, say and do what is right, and know it is because of His righteousness.
Abraham's Recorded Righteousness
According to Romans chapter 4 verse 22, Abraham's faith in God and what He did and would do, is credited to Abraham as his righteousness. Abraham was given right standing with God as also with all those, who are saved for eternal life. All God's children we were credited with Christ's own righteousness when Jesus rose triumphantly from the grave. All those who are saved from their iniquities and sins, have them blotted out by the precious blood, shed by Christ, on the Cross of Calvary.
Our Justification and Sanctification
We learn from 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30 that God's children are given wisdom from God, through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Bible. He has revealed His plan of salvation and righteousness which makes us justified and accepted by God. Over our life, He sanctifies us and makes us holy and sets our lives apart unto God. We know that Christ's shed blood has ransomed us and has paid the penalty, for our sins.
Christ Is Our Sin Bearer
Such important understanding is given to us, in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21. Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, in taking away the penalty of our sins, became sin for us, on our behalf. This was so that we could become the righteousness of God in and through Him. We then were enabled to become acceptable to God the Father and to be placed in a righteous relationship with Him.
Put on Your Breastplate of Righteousness
In Ephesians chapter 6 verse 14 we are instructed to wear our breastplate of righteousness. This spiritual breastplate protects us from all the doubts and delusions that Satan sends against our spirit and our mind. Those who wear the breastplate of righteousness, consistently, are able to maintain an upright spirit and mind. Everyone is able to do this, by reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, to every circumstance that comes upon them. You must also listen and obey the Holy Spirit, diligently, as well as praying earnestly in your spirit and in your native language, as the Holy Spirit directs you.
Our Fruit Is Righteousness in Him
We learn from James chapter 3 verse 18 that the seed of who God is and who He is in our lives, will produce the fruit of righteousness. This comes from spiritual maturity that enables us to desire peace and goodwill in our life, as well as in our family and in other people. We deliberately make an effort to be peaceful towards every situation we encounter. God's righteousness, indwelling us, enables us to create, this marvellous response. Keep on walking in His righteous ways. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Need Fresh Anointing - Part 2 - 8th September 2022]]>Thu, 08 Sep 2022 02:57:20 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-need-fresh-anointing-part-2-8th-september-2022Picture
Anointing Upon Praise and Worship
God must be worshipped in spirit and in truth as God's word informs us in John chapter 4 verse 24.To worship the Lord it is essential that the anointing is used in both voice and through instruments, to glorify the Lord. Only God's empowerment will make it possible to see the glory of God, demonstrated in the lives of His children. It is not sufficient to have the greatest abilities or talents in order to worship and praise the Lord. The glory of the Lord will only be revealed when His people are obedient to His will and purposes. We must be willing to worship Him, in reverence and awe, for who He really is, from our hearts and not just their minds!
We Need the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Continually.
So many times Christian endeavour is like dry bones, without the vital life of the Holy Spirit involved. It is at these times we must desire to be filled again, with His anointing. This is a desire that must be continually fulfilled, in our life, on earth. It is essential that all Christians keep on drinking from the fountain of life - the outpouring of the Holy Spirit empowering and giving us revelation knowledge, from God's word. Every Christian will benefit immensely in whatever work or position the Lord has appointed them. We read from Luke chapter 4 verses 17 to 19 that the Holy Spirit was upon Jesus to do His Father's work. How much all Christians are required to have the same anointing! We need to tell others of the gospel of salvation; to heal those who are brokenhearted; to set people free from Satan's kingdom of darkness; to teach others to walk in the light of God's word and to tell them that today, is the acceptable time of God's love and mercy.
The Anointed Lord is Our Example
We read about the anointing, by the Holy Spirit, upon Jesus, to do His Father's work in Acts chapter 10 verse 38.This meant that the Lord had great power, to accomplish the task because He was empowered by God, Himself. Jesus went around daily doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. We all need God's anointing, upon our lives, to do the works God has given us and particularly to be able to crush the devil's power, in our lives, our family, our church and in the community, as well as in the nation in which we live. Our puny strength by itself, will never get the job done!
We Must Be Anointed by God
In 1 John chapter 2 verse 20 we learn about our anointing. It must come from God and not from the natural display of mankind. This empowering has been sent, to set us apart, from other people, even other Christians. We are especially gifted with God's abilities for the work. During our life, we are prepared by Him, to specifically handle the task before us; it is not by mere accident or personal choice. Our very beings are flooded with His truth and our spirits and minds, are illuminated to know what God requires of us. The Lord will teach us and guard us, from spiritual errors.
His Anointing Remains in Us
1 John chapter 2 verse 27 informs us, that His anointing remains in us. It is important to realise when your spiritual tank is measuring low, you need to get a refilling from the Lord. To do this keep praying earnestly to the Father, in Jesus' name. As well keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, consistently. Always listen to and be obedient to the instructions of the Holy Spirit and heed the preaching from and inspired sermon from the pulpit, CD or DVD. Of course it can be all of the above. The anointing from the Holy Spirit teaches your inner person or spirit, everything you need to know. The Holy Spirit reveals to you God's truth and keeps you from being deceived. We need to learn from the Holy Spirit who is our teacher. Through His anointing in us, we become rooted and grounded in the eternal things of God as well as being knit together with the Lord.
Keep the Anointing Flowing
From the time that you became a child of God and inherited God's blessings upon your life, you were enabled to become an anointed person. Over time we can tend to lose some of our anointing. This can happen as a result of trials and temptations, tiredness and sickness and also listening to false or indifferent teaching. We begin to lose the fire that once was alive in our belly. We must constantly be obedient and think upon the things in God's word and be refreshed by the Holy Spirit. In this way we can become alive again and empowered by God, Himself. You must have a constant awareness of being filled, over and over again.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. <![CDATA[You Need Fresh Anointing -Part 1- 6th September]]>Tue, 06 Sep 2022 03:14:31 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-need-fresh-anointing-part-1-6th-septemberPicture
What Is the Anointing?
All who carry out God's will and purposes in their lives, must be appointed with anointing power by the Spirit of God. With the anointing, God's children are enabled to break off the entanglements and deceits of sin and set themselves and others free, from the shackles and bondage of Satan and his demonic hordes. True spiritual freedom can only come to those, who are set free, by the anointing that comes through the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Bible. Seek the anointing daily and be refreshed in your inner person or spirit. Then your mind, will and emotions can also be free as well as a refreshing for your body.
The Anointing Breaks the Yoke
When things are tough and times are hard, the Lord intervenes in the lives of those, who call upon Him. Israel was, in the time of old, being threatened by the Assyrians. The Lord told them not to be afraid for the Lord would deliver them, from their yoke of bondage. In Isaiah chapter 10 verse 27 we learn how God would deliver them, from slavery to freedom. The burdens that they lived under would be removed and the yoke of control, would also be taken away. How would this happen? The anointing or power of the Lord would prevail against the Assyrian host. The oil of the Holy Spirit would cause the anointing to flow. This same anointing is available to all who willingly give their lives to the Lord and obey His commandments. The yoke of lack, poor health, insufficient finances and bad relationships will be broken off, when you obey God and His word. You will be released to enjoy and live in spiritual, physical and material freedom!
David Was Anointed As King
We learn about the anointing of David, as king of Israel, in 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse 13. In Israel of the Old Testament, only the high priest, the prophet and the king were anointed. Today, all born again children of God, are anointed, to carry out God's will and purposes. Samuel, the prophet, anointed David king over Israel, in place of Saul, who had disobeyed God's commandments. David was anointed, with a horn of oil, in the presence of his brothers. The Spirit of the Lord mightily came upon him, from that time onwards. You and I, as children of the most high God, are anointed to do what God has commanded us to do.
God Gives His Anointed One Victory!
David was a warrior king who fought many battles, in the name of the Lord and for the preservation of Israel. In Psalm 45 verse 7 we read that David came to a powerful realisation of how much God, preserved His anointed leaders. He provides for and answers their requests, from His throne in heaven. He answers with the saving power of His right hand. He answers and provides for us, every day of our life, if we are willing to ask and then listen to His response. It is a wonderful thing for each of us, to know and appreciate that His anointed power, provides for us, in every situation we encounter in life.
God's Anointing Upon His Children
The Lord has poured out His anointing, on all His children, providing an empowerment to carry out His will and purposes, on the earth. This wonderful anointing, was prophesied by the prophet Joel, in Joel chapter 2 verses 28 and 29. When the Holy Spirit is poured out upon God's children, they will prophesy, telling of future events, as well as warning others, and speaking blessings upon the Church. The old men will dream about the Lord's will and purposes, while the young men will see visions of His glory. God's Holy Spirit will anoint and therefore empower, all who are willing to receive. The dry bones of churchianity will believe and then live as powerful gems unto the Lord.
Follow the Pattern of the Early Church
We read about circumstances, from the early church, that should shake us out of our complacency, today. This information is given to us in Mark chapter 6 verses 12 and 13. The twelve apostles went out under the same anointing, as Jesus had. They preached to the people, to repent from their sins and turn away from and live changed lives. They also cast out demons that were causing their problems. Then they anointed those who were sick, with oil, and many were healed. Repentance of sins, casting out demonic powers and healing the sick, were all vital parts of their ministry and so must it be also, of our ministry, today.
<![CDATA[Get Out of the Wilderness- Part 2-1st September 2022]]>Thu, 01 Sep 2022 03:08:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/get-out-of-the-wilderness-part-2-1st-september-2022Picture
Jesus Overcame Satan in the Wilderness
Satan endeavours to tempt and keep people in the wilderness. We read about this epic temptation of Jesus from Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 to 11. The Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. He was tempted by Satan for forty days and Jesus ate nothing and was hungry. Satan tempted Jesus to prove He was the Son of God and asked Him to turn the stones on the ground, into bread. Jesus answered Satan and told him that man doesn't just live by bread, alone. The second time Satan took Jesus to a high mountain and in a moment of time, showed Him the great splendours of the world and their kingdoms. These kingdoms had been given to Satan, by Adam, when Adam committed high treason by handing over his God given dominion and authority, to Satan. At this point, Satan wanted Jesus to bow down and worship him. These were real temptations for the Lord but Jesus counted Satan and answered that He was only to worship the one true God. In the third temptation Satan took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem. He then commanded Jesus to throw Himself down. Satan then quoted scripture, 'that God's angels would guard and protect Him and lift Him up so that Jesus would not even strike His foot against a stone'. Jesus replied from Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 16 that no one should tempt the Lord their God. Satan then left Jesus alone for a later opportunity to tempt the Lord. All born again Christians have been delegated power, by the Lord, to bind up Satan and cast him out of their lives. When we do so he recognises God's power in us and he must flee, as in terror. Every Christian must bind up Satan, in the name of Jesus, to effectively escape from his guile and lies in the wilderness.
Don't Harden Your Heart
We learn about the plight of Israel in the wilderness, in Hebrews chapter 3 and 4. From verses 7 and 8 of chapter 3 we are told to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. All who hear, are not to harden their hearts, as the children of Israel did, in the wilderness. God became angry with that generation because they tried to do things their own way, instead of God's way. Because of disobedience, God swore an oath that they would not enter God's rest. We also need to listen as the old hymn enjoins us, to 'Trust ans Obey', while it is still called today. This day is our time of opportunity to obey. Those people and those in the world today, who are full of unbelief and disobedience, will not be able to enter God's eternal rest. Nor will we have His secure rest while living here on earth. From chapter 4 we read that God's grace and mercy is still available to all who call upon the name of the Lord, this very day. God's message of salvation must be united with faith in God's word, the Bible, if we are ever to obtain our promised, eternal rest in Him. His rest in us gives our spirit and our mind, inner rest. God entered His rest when He completed His works, from the foundation of the world. All Christians are able to do the same with their works, by being willing to obey His voice. We all must make every effort to enter His rest. Keep on reading, meditating upon, confessing, applying the word and above all obeying the instructions of the Holy Spirit, who confirms the word of God. In doing so we can boldly approach the throne of God's grace to receive His mercy and compassion through His confidence.
Get Out of the Wilderness, Now?
Every person that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is well able to leave the wilderness behind, this very day. Learn to listen and obey. Forsake doing your own thing and obey His will and purposes, for He alone knows what is best, for all His creation. Don't harden your heart but be willing to trust and obey and walk by faith, which comes from hearing and hearing, over and over again, His word. If you listen then trust and obey, you will, without doubt, get our of the wilderness of the flesh, the world and the devil.

<![CDATA[Get Out of the Wilderness- Part 1 -30th August 2022]]>Tue, 30 Aug 2022 03:33:37 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/get-out-of-the-wilderness-part-1-30th-august-2022Picture
What Is a Wilderness ?
A physical wilderness is a deserted place where wild animals may live, where there is stunted vegetation, where crops of commercial value do not grow or are planted. The soil can be very poor and water supplies can be scarce. It is a place where it is difficult for people to live and is consequently almost uninhabited by humans.
A Spiritual Wilderness
Many people live, even in large cities, that for all intents and purposes, can be a spiritual wilderness, devoid of hope and full of deception and elusive ideas and values. It is a place of great spiritual darkness where Satan and his demonic hordes have people bound up by spiritual bondages. They live enslaving lifestyles that can chain people's lives through drugs and strong drink and immoral relationships. They are places where the name of Jesus and faith in His name is hardly known, where in some places the word of God, the Bible, is spoken about but rarely gives freedom to the hopeless spirits and souls of mankind. These people have often lived through lifestyle failures, relationship breakdowns or poorly made decisions in earlier life situations. They may have also had a careless attitude or been disobedient to God. Whatever the reason, people remain chained to a useless and depressing life.
Israel's Disobedience
We read about how God delivered Israel from the clutches of Pharoah, King of Egypt. God told Moses the people's freedom was only a few short weeks away, if they took God's obedient route to the land of Canaan. Moses sent out twelve spies, one from each tribe, from the Wilderness of Paran. We learn about this in Numbers chapter 13. The twelve spies went into the land of Canaan and found that it was so fruitful, that they had to carry out a cluster of grapes carried on a pole, slung between two of the men. Ten of the spies reported back to Moses and said that it was indeed a beautiful land, with plenty of crops, but the inhabitants were too strong for the Hebrews to overcome them. They had forgotten so quickly, that it was the God who had created the universe and brought them out of slavery in Egypt, that could help them and would help them, conquer the land. However, two of the spies, namely Joshua and Caleb, remained loyal to God. They both said that they were well able to take the land. Both knew who there God was and what He would do for them. Only Joshua and Caleb were rewarded for their faithfulness and were allowed to enter the promised land, forty years later. Sadly, Moses and Aaron and the other leaders missed God. They disobeyed and they wandered aimlessly for forty years, in the Wilderness of Sinai. All of those, over twenty years of age, never entered the promised land of Canaan.
Hear God's Voice of Freedom
We read and can learn from Isaiah chapter 40 verse 3 that God has prepared a way for everyone to escape from the sin, deceit and depression of Satan, which is part of the wilderness of life on earth. Hearing and obeying God's voice is essential, if you truly desire to escape the wilderness of the flesh, the world and the devil. It is equally important to spend quality time with the Lord reading, meditating upon confessing and applying God's word, the Bible, to all your everyday circumstances. We are told to prepare for God's way in our life. We are to become a righteous person, living and walking according to God's gift of grace. Never are we to allow ourselves to be overcome by sad tidings of grief or adverse situations that arise but rather to bind up and cast out Satan's efforts to deceive us. Keep on thanking God for His goodness and provision and keep praising His holy name and give honour and glory to the Father.
Your Life Will Become Like Streams in the Desert
Isaiah chapter 35 verses 6 and 7 tells us that those who are physically or spiritually lame will leap like a deer. Those that could not speak, because they are spiritually bound up, will shout for joy. Waters that give life to the spirit soul and body, will break forth in the wilderness, enabling people and places to become streams of living water. Their drought is over! The mirage of the world's dry places and worldly understanding, will become pools of refreshing water to the spirit, soul and body. Where thirst was found there will be thirst quenching springs of water. The land and its people, that once were thirsty, will become an everlasting stream of living water. No longer are they bound up, in the desert of meaningless life,ut are free forever, living with the eternal source of living water. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Pray to the Lord of the Harvest - Part 2- 25th August 2022]]>Thu, 25 Aug 2022 02:25:52 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/pray-to-the-lord-of-the-harvest-part-2-25th-august-2022Picture
The Righteous Labourers
In Matthew chapter 13 verse 43 we read about the true and righteous workers of the Kingdom of God. These people obey the will of God and shine forth, radiating the new life of redemption. They will shine like the sun in God's Kingdom. Those who are ready and willing to do the will of God are His children who hear and obey God's will and purposes for their lives. Let us all be obedient servants, able to work and shine for the souls of those who are lost.
The Harvest Is White
The harvest is white means that it is ready to be reaped. The harvest of souls is never ending until the Lord calls time. We read about the readiness of the harvest from John chapter 4 verses 35 to 38. Often Christians have a poor habit of putting off the need for evangelism. Jesus says to His disciples, 'You say there are four months to the harvest'. We must look carefully and see that the fields of human souls, is already white for harvest. It may be where you live locally or in another part of your country or even in many overseas countries. Millions are waiting for the light of the gospel to lead them out of the darkness of Satan's kingdom. There are already those who are labouring in the fields of lost souls and are receiving and will receive their just rewards, for the work God has given them to do. Those people that have gone on before have already planted the seed of the gospel and are rejoicing with those who are reaping the harvest. One person sows, another waters, just like Paul, a sower and Apollos, a reaper. In every soul saved God has given the spiritual increase.
Whoever Believes Will Not be Ashamed
Believing on the name of Jesus and having a preacher to tell you the good news of salvation, are vital ingredients of being saved from eternal damnation. This we read from Romans chapter 8 verses 10 to 15. With our heart or spirit, those who are being saved, believe in Christ as Saviour, for their justification. They then become freed from the guilt of their sin. They confess with their mouth resulting in confirmation of their faith, in the Lord. Those that do so will not be disappointed in Him. Everyone, their ethnic, cultural or previous religious or non religious background, can believe in Jesus and inherit His rich blessings upon them. All who genuinely believe on the name of Jesus and repent of their sins, will be saved. However, those who preach the gospel, need to be commissioned by the Holy Spirit and sent out for the purpose of preaching salvation to the lost. How wonderful is the message that God's believing servants bring! We must pray for those who are commissioned and sent out, so all those in darkness, who are selected by the Father, will be saved in the Father's time.
Wait Patiently for God's Crop
We read in James chapter 5 verse 7 that God's children are to wait patiently, for the crop of redeemed spirits of the earth. It has been two millennia or more, if we consider the Old Testament saints as well, but the time of Christ's return is rapidly approaching. From the earthly standpoint the farmer waits expectantly for his abundant crop to be harvested. In the same manner, our Father in heaven, is waiting patiently for His crop of redeemed people, from every tribe and nation on earth, for their eternal redemption. The Holy Spirit, particularly over the past one to two centuries, has empowered God's children to be born again and grow spiritually. This has occurred through the early and latter rains or the outpouring of God's Spirit and grace upon many people in many countries. The final harvest is coming up to be reaped. Make sure that you are included in the patient waiting of God, for His redeemed children.
Keep Praying and Interceding
According to 2 Thessalonians chapter 3 verse 1 we are to pray and intercede continually, that the word of God, the Bible, both spoken and read, will have free reign in the hearts of mankind. That is, through the unction of the Holy Spirit, who will enable people everywhere, to be willing to receive and obey, just as we have also done, to the honour and glory of Jesus' name. All who do not accept Jesus Saviour as their Lord and Saviour will not be saved.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. <![CDATA[Pray to the Lord of the Harvest - 24th August 2022]]>Wed, 24 Aug 2022 03:03:16 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/pray-to-the-lord-of-the-harvest-24th-august-2022Picture

Now Is the Day of Salvation
We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 2, that with the Lord, there is an acceptable time or day of salvation. This occurs when a person's spirit is touched by the Lord to surrender their life to the Lord. It maybe a word from a televangelist, or a stirring sermon from the pulpit, or an imploring talk with a family member or trusted friend. You knew at this time that the Lord was reaching out to you, to be saved. There was a conviction of your spirit, to repent of your sins and be saved. You were so convicted that you willingly gave your life to the Lord. Eternal life was knocking on your heart's door. It was the now day for you to be saved. Unfortunately, some people often think about it for a while but then decide that there is plenty of time left to make a Christian decision. After all, my friends, would think that I am crazy or some other foolish reason you give your mind. They declined the Lord's gentle invitation to a later or worse a never returning time.
It Can be Too Late
Jeremiah, the Hebrew prophet of the Old Testament, was a broken hearted man. We learn about this when we read Jeremiah chapter 8 verses 20 to 22. The harvest of crops was past. Summer had ended and the people had not listened to Jeremiah's prophecy from God. Their spiritual harvest time had passed them by. They had not received his message and they were not saved. Fear had taken hold of them like that which takes hold of hundreds of millions of people in the world, today. They were lost. These people enquired as to whether there was healing in their land. Their spiritual and often their physical health was broken. If people do not listen to and obey God's word, they also will lead broken lives. Everyone must be willing to accept the healing balm of God's love. They also must be willing to live by faith in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
God's Shining Servants
All Christians have a responsibility to tell the unsaved about their need for Jesus Christ, God's son. Only Jesus can save them from their sins, and enable them to become God's children and obtain the promise of eternal life. There are many waiting, that need to hear the gospel, in many, often obscure places in the world. Some servants of the Lord are especially called to this wonderful task. We read about the work of these servants of God in Daniel chapter 12 verse 3.These are spiritually wise people, who respond to the call on their lives, to be missionaries. These people, often carry the Word of God, the Bible, into spiritually dark and even physically dangerous places; risking their lives and often living in deprived conditions. There reward is to see many people saved. They will live, eternally, like bright shining stars, who have led many people out of darkness, into God's path of righteousness.
Wandering in Satan's Darkness
In Zechariah chapter 10 verse 2b we read about the plight of people living in spiritual darkness, blinded by Satan's plots and demonic webs of deceit. They wander about like sheep because they have no shepherd to lead them. These people live afflicted and oppressed lives and are often kept captive by the lies of other people who are dominated by Satan, the god of this world, through his vicious and futile schemes. They need Jesus to redeem them from the kingdom of darkness. Only the Lord can help those who are lost, through the witness of His children.
Pray for Labourers for the Harvest.
Instead of just praying that people will be saved, rather pray for blood bought, spirit filled and anointed workers to be sent into the lives of those that are lost. God requires chosen children to follow the pathway that Jesus walked as found in Matthew chapter 9 verses 35 to 38. Jesus went around the cities and villages of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and proclaiming the good news or gospel of the Kingdom of God. He also healed all who were sick. Jesus had compassion on the crowds and was moved with pity for them. They, like many people in the world today, were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd. The harvest of souls was great then and how much more is it so in this day and age. The problem was that there were few labourers, willing or available to gather in the harvest. Our responsibility, as Christians, is to either respond to the Holy Spirit, telling us to go or else to pray to the lord of the harvest, which is Jesus, to send out blood bought, Holy Spirit anointed workers, into His harvest of souls. Don't just pray for the lost but rather pray that those people, anointed by the Spirit of God, will be willing to go forth and labour amongst those who are lost. It may be you, who God is calling? Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat this prayer
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[The Importance of communion - Part 2 - 18th August 2022]]>Thu, 18 Aug 2022 03:33:10 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-importance-of-communion-part-2-18th-august-2022Picture
Jesus Is the Mediator of the New and Better covenant
Christians learn about their new and better covenant or testament in Hebrews chapter 9 verses 13 to 18. The significance of communion becomes much greater when we realise that not only is it a remembrance feast but a reminder of our covenant with God. In the Old Testament those who were defiled as sinners, were sprinkled with the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a burnt heifer. How much more, under the new testament or covenant, will the blood of Christ, through the eternal Holy Spirit, offered Himself as a sacrifice to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God! Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant between man and God, the created and the Creator. Those who have been called by God can receive the promise of their eternal inheritance. The death and resurrection of Christ, has redeemed man from the penalty of mankind's sins, committed under the now obsolete old covenant or testament. The new will or testament became effective with Christ's death and resurrection. Both covenants were ratified by blood
Our Redeemed Life
In 1 Peter chapter 1 verses 18 and 19 we read that we were redeemed from a useless way of life, inherited from our forefathers way of life. This was from even things considered worthwhile such as silver and gold. Our redemption was purchased through the precious blood of Christ, who was foreordained before the foundations of the world, to redeem man, from their wanton existence to a life of everlasting fulfilment.
Our Faith Must Be in Christ
We learn more about our Christian walk from 1 John chapter 5 verses 4 to 8. Everyone born of God is victorious and can overcome the world, as well as their own flesh and the devil. This will happen when Christians walk by faith based on God's word, the Bible. Those that believe that Jesus is the Son of God, are the overcomers. Jesus overcame through water and the blood, His baptism and His death. There are three who bare witness. They are the Holy Spirit of truth and the water and the blood. The entire Godhead and their testimony is absolutely consistent.
Sharing Communion Demonstrates Those Who Are Overcomers
All blood bought children are overcomers. They share their love for Jesus, their Saviour and for their fellow brothers and sisters, in the Lord, We read about this from Revelation chapter 12 verse 11. God's children overcome the devil and his demonic cohorts. They were conquered because of the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Often they were faced with death but in spite of this, they did not renounce their faith in Jesus Christ, their Lord and Saviour.
Take Communion Regularly
Every Christian is well able to take communion regularly, even every day. You can share communion with your spouse, with a physical or spiritual brother or sister, with your family or if you live alone, with the Lord. The important thing is to have communion, as often as is possible. Some churches share communion as often as every week; others may be as little as every two or three months. By sharing communion more often you become more able, at church or elsewhere, to have a greater depth of commitment regarding the significance of celebrating communion. In order to do so all you require is a bottle of unfermented grape juice and a small piece of bread or cracker biscuit. Always accompany the communion time with worship by praising, adoring and thanking the Lord for His wonderful sacrifice on your behalf. Where there are more than two people celebrating communion, allow each other to share their thoughts with those present. It is important to read together, portions of scripture pertaining to communion. Suggested passages include Matthew chapter 26, verses 26 to 29;Mark chapter 14, verses 22 to 25; Luke chapter 22, verses 15 to 20 and John chapter 6, verses 53 to 58. Taking communion regularly is of vital importance to all who desire to worship the Lord ,to show their thanks for His marvellous redemption. Always meditate on the word, confess the word and apply the word to your daily circumstances. Developing your whole person into a mature being is essential for your everyday life and your faith journey throughout your sojourn on earth.
