Our Real Enemy
Every person on planet earth has only one real enemy. This enemy is an evil scheming and sadistic creature called Satan, who is accompanied by many thousands of wicked demons. In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 2 he is entitled the Prince of the Power of the Air. Satan is an evil spirit that controls all people and situations that have not been submitted to Christ. He exists in the realm of darkness but also impacts the world we live in.
Satan Cast Out of Heaven
This evil being, who once was the archangel and extraordinarily beautiful, because he wanted to be God has been cast out of heaven, along with a further one third of the angels who also rebelled. We read of his first contact with people, way back in the Garden of Eden. He caused Adam and Eve, the first humans created by God, to sin and also rebel against God. We read about this in Genesis chapter 3. When Jesus rose from the dead, He destroyed Satan's dominating control of mankind and took him captive. All who believe on Jesus Christ, for their redemption through His shed blood, have escaped his dominion of darkness and are now able to live in God's kingdom of love and light.
Cast Satan Out of Your Life
From Matthew chapter 4 verse 10 we read that Jesus, after His temptation by Satan in the wilderness, gave Christians His importance premise, for defeating any satanic bondage in a person's life. Satan tried to beguile Jesus as he is always trying to beguile and intimidate God's people. Jesus told Satan to flee from Him. We must do the same! Jesus then said that everyone was to worship God and Him only were they to serve. All who don't worship God remain under the deceit and bondage of Satan and his evil works.
Effects of Sin
Ephesians chapter 4 verses 25 to 29 tells us about the effects of sin on the human race. What is often lost among people, is speaking the truth. Another is being angry and staying angry. When we sin we actually give place to the devil. This gives Satan ample space to cause bad relationships to develop between married partners and between family members. This can further escalate to friends and workmates. Christians, particularly, must not allow corrupt words to proceed from their mouths. When we destroy bad thoughts, then our speech and our deeds become wholesome and godly. In this manner we are destroying Satan's work, in our lives and its effects on those we know and love.
Further Wrecking Satan's Work
We are given the rules that those, who are God's children ,should obey. This we read about in 2 Timothy chapter 2 verses 24 to 26. God's servants must not quarrel. They must be gentle and able to teach God's truth, as well as being patient. When correcting others they must be humble. Those who listen to the truth of God's word will be able to come to their senses and escape the snares of the devil. In doing so, those people will do great damage to Satan's evil works.
Always Listen to the Holy Spirit
The most important thing that any Christian can learn to do, is to listen to the Holy Spirit and be obedient. To learn to walk by faith we must daily read God's word and meditate upon it, as well as confessing and applying God's word, over all your circumstances and needs. James chapter 4 verse 7 encourages us to submit to God and His ways. In so doing, you are able to resist the devil and cast him and his works far from you. The devil recognises your authority in Christ and must leave. You are powerfully involved in destroying Satan's work, and you and others around you, will walk in greater freedom and joy.
Rules for Christian Leaders
Mature Christians and those who are in the five fold ministry, need to abide by a stricter rule of conduct. We learn about this from 1 Timothy chapter 3 verses 2 to 13.Leaders are in the forefront of the battle against evil. These people need to be blameless with only one wife; be of good behaviour and able to teach. They must not be addicted to strong drink or greedy for money. They must rule their own house well so that they can take care of God's children. These people must not be young but mature in the faith, so that they do not fall into the devil' s schemes, and as a result, drag others with them. Leaders must be able, whether as bishops or pastors or as deacons or elders, to be able to rightly divide God's word in truth. All those who do so, obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith of Jesus Christ and His word,
Humble Yourselves Under God
1 Peter chapter 5 verses 6 to 9 informs us how important it is to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God for He will exalt us in His right time. We are to be sober and vigilant because our only real adversary, the devil, roams through the earth, as a roaring lion. What does he seek to do? He seeks to devour and destroy all the unwary. To those in Christ, he is no roaring lion but only appears to be one. We must resist him just like Jesus did in the wilderness. He tries to bring sufferings to all mankind and Christians are not immune. They, however, can bind him .and cast him out of their life circumstances.
How You Defeat Satan
First off, remember, you are constantly in warfare with Satan and his demons. There is no relaxing on the beach, as such. You defeat his schemes and his violence, every day, by praising and worshipping the Lord. Every Christian must also listen to their inner voice or spirit so they can hear the Holy Spirit and know that whatever comes their way, they can handle, in God's anointing and His will and purposes for them. You read and confess God's word over your circumstances. Always, as opportunity presents itself, witness to others about the love of God, in your own life. As you do, God's will and purposes, you are indeed overcoming, and wrecking Satan's schemes and devices for your own life; your family and relatives; your friends and also your church and workplace. Keep on in the anointing and empowering of the Holy Spirit and constant, daily victory is assured!

<![CDATA[You Believe For Your Own Healing]]>Mon, 19 Jul 2021 02:35:54 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-believe-for-your-own-healingPicture
The Best Method of Healing
There are many times in life when our spirit, soul and body require rest and healing. The greatest comfort and restoration comes not through medicine alone, or even a vocational break but through reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word, as our foundation, wonderful relief and healing takes place. It may be over some time period but God's word always works.
The Healing Problem
The biggest problem that many people have is whether God wants to heal. We all know Jesus did heal and even sometimes, He heals a few people, today. However, is it His intention to heal everyone or just a selected few? Particularly, does He want to heal me?
What Did Jesus Do?
We read in Psalm 103 verse 3 that Jesus has forgiven the iniquities or sins, of everyone, who is willing to repent. It also says that He heals all our diseases. Surely, Jesus wants to heal you as much as He desires to forgive you your sins?
Jesus Heals All Who Believe
In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 we learn that we are forgiven our iniquities and by the stripes or blows, that cut into His flesh, we are healed. He took the punishment for our sins as well as the healing of our spirit, soul and body upon Himself. The salvation package covers all our needs for now and for eternity.
Jesus Healed All Who Were Sick
Matthew chapter 4 verses 23 and 24 tells us that Jesus went about all of Galilee, teaching and preaching the good news of the gospel. He told the people about the Kingdom of God and healed all kinds of diseases among the people. These people were affected by various physical and emotional torments and various diseases. People were delivered from demon possession, as well as epilepsy, and paralytic conditions. We also read in Luke chapter 4 verse 40 and Luke chapter 5 verse 17b about those who were healed. They were brought to Jesus and He laid His hands on them to heal them. Everyone was healed by God's power that was present, in the Lord, to heal them.
Goodness and Healing Is For All
We read on further in acts 10 verse 38 that God the Father anointed Jesus of Nazareth, with power. He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. After all, every bit of sickness and disease is caused by satanic oppression.
No Doubt About God's Will
It is clear from God's word, that it is certainly God's will to heal all, and particularly, all who believe. There is no doubt that God wants to heal. This healing can take place when a fellow Christian prays for you. It can occur in healing conventions and church services and even as a sovereign act of God, anytime or anywhere.
The Best Kind of Healing
Our personal faith for healing comes from our own willingness to read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our situations in life, including our own healing. As we build up our faith, through God's word, we are well able to believe God for our own healing and the healing of other people.
Her Faith Made This Woman Whole
In Matthew chapter 9 verse 20 to 22 we read about the woman who had the issue of blood for twelve years. She came behind Jesus and said to herself, that if she could just touch the hem of His garment or cloak, she would be healed. When she did so, Jesus knew immediately that healing power had gone out of Him. Jesus turned around and said to her to be of good cheer because your faith has made you well. The woman was healed from that very moment of contact. It was her faith in Jesus and corresponding action of faith, that had healed her.
You Lay Hands On the Sick
You can use the power that God has given you, as a born again Christian, to heal the sick. This we read in Mark chapter 16 verses 17 and 18. Mighty signs will follow all who believe on the name of Jesus. In His name they will cast out demons and speak with new tongues. You will be able to take up serpents in your hands and even drink poison, but not on purpose, and it will not affect you. Importantly, you will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
The Crippled Man's Faith
Paul was preaching in Lystra and a crippled man, lame from his mother's womb, was listening, very intently. This man had never walked. Paul observed him and knew that he had faith to be healed. We read about this in Acts chapter 14 verses 8 to 10. Paul then spoke to him in a loud voice, to stand up. The man then stood straight up and also walked and leaped. It was the man's faith, in what Paul had preached, that enabled him to be healed.
We Are To Pray For One Another
James chapter 5 verse 16 directs Christians to confess their trespasses to one another. And pray for each other to be healed. All Christians can do this as well as for themselves. We are told the effective, fervent supplication of a righteous person, avails much. You must be fervently full of God's kind of faith.
You Are Empowered To Pray
You are empowered by the Holy Spirit, to pray for the healing of other Christians and particularly for yourself. Pray for your own healing based on God's word; please do it consistently, day in and day out. As your faith increases so will your anointing to heal for yourself and your family and other people, increase. It is all by faith in God's word. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[The Cleansing Power]]>Mon, 12 Jul 2021 04:11:30 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-cleansing-powerPicture
Everyone Must Be Cleansed
Everyone must be cleansed and purified if they are to enter the Kingdom of God. Nothing that is imperfect or unclean can ever enter the presence of God. We know that even in our every day experiences, there is a need for cleanliness, because of the likely contamination, from germs and viruses, of the possibility of severe sicknesses and even death. Cleanliness is such and important thing in this world, particularly for Christians. Unfortunately, this world is a very dirty and unclean place.
Cleansing From Secret Faults.
Often we are not aware how much cleansing we need, especially in a spiritual way. We must be cleansed in our thoughts; in our speech and in our actions. Psalm 19 verse 12 gives specific instructions to young people. We often don't know or realise, our mistakes. The word of God and the Holy Spirit can cleanse each person from the secret faults that only God knows about. We can fool other people but God knows everything. There are times we must be prepared to change.
David Desired to Be Thoroughly Cleansed
In Psalm 51 verse 2, David, the Psalmist, was so convicted by the Holy Spirit of uncleanness that he desired God to wash him thoroughly, from all his iniquity. His goal was to be cleansed from sin, which so easily besieges the human soul.
Obey God's Word
A further confirmation of how young people can be cleansed, comes from Psalm 119 verse 9 The answer is quite simple but requires ongoing diligence. Day by day, time must be made to learn the word, then continue reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word to your life's circumstances. Whatever you learn from the word of God, the Bible and hear the Holy Spirit telling you, we must be obedient to do. In this way you are taking heed to God's word and you are placed in a strong position to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.
God Was Willing to Cleanse Judah
We read in Jeremiah chapter 33 verse 8 that the Lord was willing to cleanse Judah from all their iniquity, when they returned from their captivity in Babylon. Judah had continued to sin constantly against the Lord. However, God is patient and gracious and was still willing to forgive and pardon all the sins they had committed against the Lord and against His commandments.
We Must Also Cleanse Ourselves
Christians must be clean people. They must make an effort by listening to the Holy Spirit and obeying God's word, to constantly cleanse themselves. This we read about in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 1. God has given us great and precious promises, which all obedient Christians will inherit. Any taint or sin or filthy habit of the flesh and unclean thought in both our spirit and mind, must be cleansed away. We are to desire our whole being to be made perfect in holiness, for our God is a holy God. We must worship Him and fear Him, because He is our God. Allow the cleansing power of the blood of the Lamb to make your whole spirit, soul and body, pure before your God.
The Lord Cleanses His Church
Ephesians chapter 5 verse 26 informs us that our Lord Jesus Christ, cleanses His church through the washing of the word of God. She becomes sanctified or set apart, from the filth and foolishness of the world. Each Christian must be diligent in their faith walk, by consistently adhering to God's word and applying it. It must be a daily, diligent effort to do so. For works of the flesh, the world and the devil are constantly bombarding our spirit and mind, with the deceit and iniquities of the world as Satan promotes his kingdom of darkness.
Always Confess Your Sins
1 John verses 7 and 9 provide us with vital information regarding the cleansing of our being. No Christian can truly have fellowship with the Lord, if they walk in darkness and do the works of the flesh and the world. If we walk by faith in God's word and the direction of the Holy Spirit, we will have clean godlike fellowship, with one another. All Christians can be constantly, everyday, cleansed from their sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. No Christian should ever practise sin but they can, sometimes, fall by the wayside, by way of Satan's traps or their own foolish lapses. However, we must be willing to confess our sins and also make it a practice to abstain from iniquity. The Lord is faithful and just. He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, when we repent. We must be genuine in our desire not to sin, so that we can continue in His righteousness.
Always Be Cleansed By Christ's Blood
Always remember to be cleansed by the precious blood of the Lord and make it a genuine practice not to sin in thought, speech of deed. If you are willing to do so Jesus is always ready to forgive, when you repent and cleanse you from all sin, guilt and shame.
<![CDATA[Are You Hearing]]>Tue, 06 Jul 2021 06:29:57 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/are-you-hearingPicture

Hear the Lord
It is imperative that all who are called by the Lord and are His blood bought elected children, constantly listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Hearing requires not only just listening but hearing sufficiently so that you understand and desire to do God's will. You must be obedient to what the lord is telling you regarding what and how to do His will in your life.
Israel Heard Moses
In Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 4 we learn that Moses spoke to the people so that they could hear, what God was saying. The Lord told hem that there is only one God. Jehovah God is the only God of all the universe. He is the Holy Trinity of three beings manifest as one God. They are God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
God Is Always in Charge
Isaiah chapter 40 verse 21 to 23 informs us about our amazing Creator. He sits above the earth and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. The Lord stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them out like a tent, as His dwelling place. He makes all their rulers and judges, who walk in their own ways, to be but baseless and useless in their understanding. Verse 26 informs us that He alone has created all things. So much for the foolish assumptions of atheists and evolutionists.
Build Your Life Upon God and His Word
Many people say they are Christians and even their actions appear to be like believers. We read about this in Matthew chapter 7 verses 21 to 28. These verses tell us that not everyone, who seems to be calling on the Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and are obedient to do the will of God, will do so. Many will say they did many mighty works and even prophesied in His name and they even cast out demons in His name. Hear what God has to say about them! The Lord says emphatically; I never knew you! Depart from me; you who practise lawlessness! Wise men hear the Lord telling them what to do and where to build their house and ministry. When the rains and winds of life come upon their dwelling place or their work it doesn't fall, but stands firm. Those people who don't hear and obey God's word and the voice of the Holy Spirit are like those who build their lives and their ministry upon their own whims and the ideas of man. When the storms of life rage, their whole ministry or life's work or even their own lives and sometimes their family, are destroyed!
Who Are God's Just People?
We learn about those who are God's adopted children from Romans chapter 2 verse 13. When we hear the Holy Spirit talking to us and God's word is mightily revealed to us, we must be obedient to do His will. Those who just listen but do not obey God, will not be justified by the Lord. If you are not justified you are not going to heaven. Only the just are given eternal life with God. According to the light given to us, so we must obey. The just are justified by the shed blood of the Cross of Calvary, shed on our behalf, by Jesus Christ.
Israel Did Not listen
Isaiah, the prophet, more than 700 years before the Lord came to earth, bewailed the fact that Israel was not hearing what God was saying. This we read in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 1 and is repeated by Paul, in Romans chapter 10 verse 16. In verse 21 of the same chapter, the Lord tells Israel, that He stretched out His hands all day long, to a disobedient and rebellious people. They did not hear Him or His words.
Keep Hearing and Hearing God's Word
Romans chapter 10 verse 17 informs us that our faith only comes and develops as we discipline our spirits and our minds, day by day. It is essential to learn, read, meditate, confess and apply God's word, to every situation we face in our life. We must hear and understand what the word shows us and what the Holy Spirit tells us and reveals to us, from God's word, the Bible.
Heaven Is Above Our Human Understanding
We read in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9 about an incredible future, for all believers. Our eyes have not seen nor our ears heard; nor has even entered into our thoughts or even our spirits; the things that God has prepared for those that love Him. You must keep hearing what the Lord is preparing for you, right now!
Hear From God's Word
Paul writing in Galatians chapter 3 verse 2 tells the foolish Galatians that they were listening to what the law said, rather than living by faith through God's word as revealed to them by the Holy Spirit to their spirit. Always listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling your spirit. Remember, hearing comes by the word of God and increases your faith along with the revelation that the Holy Spirit brings to your spirit.
Hearers Then Doers
We are not just to be hearers only. James chapter 1 verse 22 makes this very clear. Yes, you must hear what God is telling you, so you know what to do. However, you must also obey and do what and how the Holy Spirit directs you. This will never be in conflict with God's word.
Keep Hearing
As you walk along life's journey, hand in hand with the lord, you will listen and hear and learn all that God requires of you. What you have been created for will be clearly revealed and you will walk in great joy and peace, as you inherit His promises in your life.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[A New Commandment]]>Mon, 28 Jun 2021 04:12:14 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/a-new-commandmentPicture
God's Kingdom Is One of Love
Love is the overriding and basic framework upon which the Kingdom of God is founded and moves forward in ever increasing beauty. This is the love of God for all His creation and particularly for His born again blood bought children. Because of God's love for His children we are empowered to spread abroad, through our spirits, His love towards every one we know, whether in our family; at our work or at our church; at the market place or wherever we might be. We draw from the well spring of God's love, revealed through His word and through His Holy Spirit.
Old Testament Commandment
Way back in the Old Testament we read, in Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5, that Israel was to love God with all their heart and all their soul and with all their strength.
The Great Commandment
Jesus was asked by a lawyer, what was the great commandment in the law? Jesus replied in Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 to 40, almost the identical words He had told Israel, through Moses, nearly 1,500 years, previously. God's children are to love the Lord their God with all their heart or spirit, with all their soul and with all their mind. This was the first and great commandment which was to be complemented by the second. This was to love other people as ourselves. On these two laws are based all of God's laws and commandments.
A New Commandment of Love
John chapter 13 verses 34 and 35 again informs us of Jesus' new commandment. This was the Lord's commandment to love one another. If we make the effort to love other people by speaking kindly to them and thinking good thoughts about them and helping them, where we are able to, then we are on the true path of demonstrating God's love, to others, in a wicked, deceitful, and vicious world. This world is dominated by the flesh, the world and the devil. In so doing other people, whether Christians or even rank unbelievers, will know that we are God's disciples. We must love one another as God commands us to do.
Only God's Love will Prevail
We find a most wonderful love chapter in 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Even though we may have all the most amazing spiritual gifts; even though we have faith to remove mountains of doubt and unbelief; even though we may give our substance away to feed the poor; even though we may give our very life away for other people, if we don't have God's love in us, it is to no avail. All these gifts and our own sacrifices, become absolutely useless. The closing verses of this love chapter, namely verses 12 and 13, inform us of the priority that love must have in our life. At this moment we see the future and have a knowledge of the present, through a dimly lit mirror. One day we will see God face to face and be known as He already knows us. Three important qualities of life must be part of our being. These are faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love.
We Must Love One Another
1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 9 and 10 tells us to continue in brotherly love one towards another. To love one another is a mandate from God, for all mankind and particularly for His elected children. In this Bible case, their love was to be toward all the fellow Christians in Macedonia, of Paul's time. Their love towards each other was to abound more and more.
Those Who Don't Love Are Murderers
All Christians know that they have passed from eternal death to eternal life, because they love one another. We learn this from 1 John chapter 3 verses 14 to 17. All who do not love others abide in eternal death. Whoever hates another person is classified as a murderer and no murderer has eternal life, unless they repent. Our example of God's love is Jesus, who laid down His life so that we all may be saved. We also should lay down our own lives, all our wants or desires, for another person. If people are in need of this world's goods, we need to give towards the supply of their needs by showing and giving our support, as much as we are able to. In this way God's love is poured out upon them.
We Can Only Truly Love Through Jesus
We read about God's great commandment for us in 1 John chapter 3 verse 23. Every one should believe on the name of Jesus Christ, God's Son and love one another. All should repent and be saved through the forgiveness of their sins and then love God with all their heart and their mind and all their strength and then love other people as themselves.
Perfect Love Casts Out Fear
1 John chapter 4 verses 7 to 21 is a wonderful love passage that all need to read and know. Because love is of God we must love one another. Every one who is Gods child must be a lover. Those who do not love do not know God. Why is this so? The very being of God is love. God sent Jesus into the world, as His only begotten Son, that we might have eternal life through Him. We didn't at first love God, but He first loved us and sent Jesus to be the mercy seat for our sins. If we love God then His love is made perfect in us. The Holy Spirit is the down payment of God's love in us. All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, abide in God's love. As God is, so are we in this world and because of His love, we will have His boldness, not only in this world but also in the day of judgement. There is no fear in love. Those who are made perfect in love have no fear. We love Him because He first loved us. No one can hate his fellow person and also love God. He who says so, is a liar. If we don't love those we know and see, how can we love God, who we have not seen? All who truly love God must also love other people.

<![CDATA[~~~~Get Ready!~~~~]]>Mon, 21 Jun 2021 03:15:57 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/get-readyPicture
Always Be Ready
So many times in life, we have to be prepared. We get ready for school or work. We get ready to go out. We get ready to go away on a holiday or vacation break. We get ready to go to church. We get ready for sport or outdoor activities. However, the most important aspect of getting ready in our life, is to be ready for the coming of the Lord. All who have repented and given their lives to Jesus are ready to meet Him when He comes.
The Shortness of Earthly Life
Have you ever thought or known about the fact, that at least 70 million people die each year or about 200 thousand people a day on planet earth. How many are ready to meet their Maker, with their sins washed away through His precious blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary? The important thing for each of us is that we are ready and prepared. No one knows how long they will live. Some people die in their teens or before; while others may reach over a hundred years of age. This planet is a dangerous place, because of Satan! It has diseases, accidents, and natural occurrences such as floods and earthquakes, that can take the lives of a few or even thousands of people at one time.
Jesus' Coming Will Be As Fast As Lightning.
Matthew chapter 24 verse 27 informs us that the coming of Jesus will be as fast as a lightning flash. There will be no time to pack your bags and get ready. You must be ready now for when He returns; either for you on a certain day or on the great Last Day of planet earth.
No Time To Get Ready ,Then
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 52 we read the Lord's coming will be as just in a moment of time, in the twinkling of as eye. On the Last Day the trumpet will sound and all those who have loved the Lord, will be raised incorruptible and will be changed forever.
Just Like Noah's Time
Important news is ours in Matthew chapter 24 verses 37 and 38. Everyone was just going about their daily routine and giving little thought to the fact that Noah had built an ark to save his family from the flood that was coming. No one, except Noah and his family were ready. Today, only a few people, perhaps far less than ten percent of the world's population, are ready to meet their Maker. With great swiftness, will the coming of Jesus, be! People in Noah's time were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, just as they are today. Those people had no concern for the deluge which would destroy their world forever. Unfortunately, most people today have no interest or knowledge or concern, about the Lord's soon return.
Falling Away From God
We learn from 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 3 and 4, that the great and final day of the Lord's return, will not come before a great number of people, will have fallen away from the truth and faith in God's word. At this point the Antichrist or Son of destruction will be destroyed. This evil person will try to exalt himself above God and all that is God's. There is much Antichrist behaviour in the world and even in some of the so called churches of God, this very day.
Be Ready For His Return
Hebrews chapter 10 verse 37 tells us that at God's right time, the Lord will return and wait no longer. All that believe need to get ready by doing His will and purposes in their lives, right now!
It Could Be Much Sooner
You must be ready! The Lord is returning at a time when you least expect it. This we read in Luke chapter 12 verse 40. It may not be on the Great Day of the Lord's return. For many people, it could well be much earlier, particularly if you are an aged person.
Jesus Will Return In Like Manner
We are told in Acts chapter 1 verses 9 to 11 that while the apostles were gathered together with the Lord, that Jesus was taken up into a cloud and disappeared from their sight. As they looked up steadfastly into heaven, as He went up, two angels appeared unto them. They said to the apostles: Why are you standing, gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up into heaven, will come back in the same manner as you saw Him Go.” Nearly two thousand years have come and gone and during this time He has returned for millions of people throughout the ages of time and even for many people, this very day.
The Crown Of Righteousness
What a wonderful prize awaits all, who truly believe, on the day when Jesus, returns! We learn about this from 2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 8. We will be enthroned with the Lord with our Crown of righteousness, in Him, for all eternity. The righteous Judge, Jesus, will give this crown on that day to all who have longed for and await His wonderful return.
Our Redemption Draws Nigh
1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 16 and 17 informs us that on that Great Day of His return, Jesus will descend from Heaven with the shout of an archangel and the Last Trumpet will sound. All who have died, will rise with a new eternal body in Christ and them all those who are still on earth will then also rise to meet the Lord in the air and remain with Him, for evermore. Your spirit goes to be with the Lord as soon as your earthly body, dies. Be ready, for the Lord will come in the twinkling of an eye, for you and all who await His return!
                                                              Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[~~~~Your Sins Are blotted Out !~~~~]]>Mon, 14 Jun 2021 03:41:18 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-sins-are-blotted-outPicture
The Greatest Comfort
The greatest comfort and relief that can occur to anyone on earth, is to know that your sins are forgiven. When you gave your life to the Lord and repented of your sins, they were cleansed away, by His precious blood. From time to time Satan will try to remind you of them, but you then must tell him to get lost as they are not only forgiven, but also forgotten, by God, for all eternity.
We Are Forgiven and Healed
In Psalm 103 verse 3 we learn that Jesus has forgiven us all our iniquities, as well as healing us of all our diseases. When you are forgiven, you are also healed. It is God's provision, in His salvation package, for all believers.
Jesus Was Chastised For Our Sins
Furthermore we learn about God's wonderful forgiveness for us, in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5. Jesus was wounded or pierced through for our transgressions. He was bruised or crushed for our iniquities. Because He was chastised for our sins, we were forgiven and were also given His eternal peace. As a result, we have been healed by the crushing blows to His body that He received, on our behalf.
All Will Know the Lord
What marvellous information is ours in Jeremiah chapter 31 verse 34. No longer will we have to say to relatives, neighbours or friends, that they need to know the Lord for all those who have given their lives to the lord, will indeed know the Lord, from the least or youngest person to the oldest or most mature child of God. Now comes the best news of all! Not only are their sins forgiven, but God will never remember those sins, anymore!
Sin Has Been Dealt With
Romans chapter 6 verses 10 and 11 tells us that sin has been dealt with, for all time. Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary. The death that He died once and for all, was indeed, for all mankind. So our sins became dead in Him and we became alive in Him, as He is alive to God. Because he died and rose again, so did our former self die and we were raised, to newness of life, in Him.
Your Sins Are Forgiven and Forgotten
Further information on the topic comes from Hebrews chapter 10 verses 16 to 18. All those who are elected, children of God, have an eternal blood covenant, through Jesus Christ, with the Father. God's laws or His word, He has put into their hearts or spirits, as well as being recorded in their minds. From the time that we were forgiven and gave our lives to the Lord, our sins have not been counted against us, anymore. We learn that all our lawless thoughts and deeds God will remember, no more. Jesus Christ made the one and only required forgiveness of sins, when He died and rose again on behalf of all His children. Our sins have been forgiven and remitted and forgotten. There is no further requirement on our part.
Confess Your Sins
As we still live in a mortal body, we do at times think the wrong things, say the wrong things and do the wrong things; What do we do about it? We have our advocate with the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 John chapter 1 verses 6 to 9 tells us what we need to do. First of all, we must admit that we have sinned and not walked in God's light, at that time. We must be truthful and confess our sins to the lord and He will forgive us.
Sin's Power Is Broken Forever
When we confess our wrong doing, often being prompted by the Holy Spirit, convicting our spirit, we are then able to return to God's light. We are also enabled to fellowship, one with another, again. When we confess our wrong then Jesus will faithfully forgive us our sin. His precious blood will then cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Unfortunately, many Christians carry a burden of guilt, throughout their lives, because they are unwilling to repent or forgive others. We must repent and forgive! It is such a vital aspect of a surrendered Christian life.
Forgiven and Recreated
Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 and 14 tells us that Jesus Christ has forgiven you all your trespasses and wiped out the handwriting of requirements against you. He took them and nailed them to the Cross, so that the breaking of sin's power over us was made complete, forever. You are forgiven and as a child of God, you have a recreated spirit that is able to listen to and obey the Holy Spirit. Always, daily, have a sound prayer fellowship with the Lord. Always keep learning God's word. Keep on reading the Bible and meditating upon it. Keep confessing and applying its truth to all your circumstances and situations in life. Remember, you are cleansed through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ! Your sins are blotted out, for evermore.
                                                          Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Give Thanks]]>Mon, 07 Jun 2021 03:30:14 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/give-thanksPicture
How Thankful We Must Be!
As human beings we often give thanks to other people for information received or for just having happy fellowship in church gatherings or even over the side or back fence. It is appropriate and normal as part of our enjoyment of life. How much more should we give daily thanks to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? We are forgiven of our sins and redeemed from this old world, to eternal life with Him, forever. Every Christian should be so thankful for their life; for their lovely family; for their fellow Christians and friends. We can be thankful for the beautiful area, in which we live and even for a spot in the winter's sun. Early, yes, first thing in the morning and throughout the day we must give thanks to our God, with a grateful heart!
Thank the Lord Constantly
We read in Psalm 95 verse 2 that God's children are to come into God's presence with thanksgiving. We are to sing unto Him joyfully with Psalms, even shouting out His glorious name and His goodness towards us. We are to be full of thankful appreciation to our wonderful God and His wonderful provision for us.
We Are to Be thrilled With God's Goodness
God's children are to enter His presence with thanksgiving. We are told in Psalm 100 verse 4 that we are to come before Him in joyous praise. Our very beings are to be thrilled with His gifts and merciful acts of kindness. In our thanks we bow before our God and worship Him for He is truly majestic in wonderful ways and His love for His begotten children in Christ.
Daniel Praised the God of His Fathers
We read about Daniel praising and thanking God in Daniel 2 verse 23. Daniel thanked God and praised Him and acknowledged that the Lord was the God of his fathers. Daniel praised God for giving him wisdom and might. If Daniel praised God how much more must we of the new birth? God made known to Daniel what Daniel had asked the Lord. So will God do for us as we listen through our inner voice. God had shown the answer to the king's demand. How much more is God willing to show His children the things that only God knows.
Capernaum Did Not Acknowledge Jesus As Lord
Important words are given by Jesus in Matthew 11 verses 23 to 25. Capernaum had exalted itself to Heaven but would be brought down to Hades. Mighty works had been done in Capernaum, that if they had been done in Sodom, it would have repented a long time ago. Jesus prayed to His Father, the Lord of Heaven and earth and thanked His Father that He had hidden the mighty doings of God from the wise and prudent and revealed them to those that were young or relatively uneducated; even those who were spiritually immature.
Mankind Has Rejected Their God
The world, in great numbers throughout the centuries, has ignored the wonderful works of God and has tried to replace this knowledge with man's false understanding, including evolution. Romans chapter 1 verses 21 and 22 tells us that man knew about God but refused to glorify Him as their Creator. They were not thankful for their own lives or His provision for them, nor His mighty works upon the earth or in the heavens. These people became futile in their understanding and their spirits became darkened. As a result they thought they were wise but in reality they became fools. Such is the great darkness in this world, today. They have forgotten to thank their Maker.
We Must Always Be Thankful
We read in Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 that we are not to be anxious or worried about anything. However, by contrast, God's children are to give thanksgiving for everything. Constantly we are to pray and make supplications to God. We are to rejoice in His presence and be truly thankful for His amazing mercy and provision for us and our family as well as relatives, friends and fellow Christians. Our requests must be made based on His word. They are to be made in faith, fully believing that Jesus is answering and providing for us, to the honour and glory of the Father.
Keep Giving Thanks!
Each day keep rejoicing in the Lord, particularly, first thing in the morning. Keep praying and interceding for others. Always read and learn the word of God and keep meditating upon it, as well as confessing and applying God's word to every situation we confront. Always give thanks with a grateful heart! Remember, in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18 we are instructed to always give thanks to God, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for each of us. What a joyous Christian you will be as you live a faith filled life of God's rich blessings!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[Seek the Inner Voice -by John Macdonald]]>Mon, 31 May 2021 03:33:12 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/seek-the-inner-voice-by-john-macdonaldPicture
God Contacts You Through Your Inner voice
As a child of God or as any human being, you are a tripartite person: spirit, soul and body. You can only contact God through your inner person or voice, never through your mind. Your spirit then contacts your mind, with the will and purposes of God. Your will, as part of your soul, then decides to obey God or be disobedient and do your own things.
God and All Humanity Are Spirit Beings
An exceptionally important piece of information is found in John chapter 4 verse 24. Our Father and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, are spirit beings. Jesus took on human form only while on earth. If you really want to worship God through prayer or spiritual hymns or songs, you can and must worship God through your spirit. To try to truly worship God, with only your mind, is complete foolishness. You worship God through the truth found in His word, the Bible. No wonder so many Christian sermons and songs, fall so flat! Men and women are trying to worship God with their intellect, which is absolutely impossible. Let the Spirit of God communicate with your spirit and the blessings and gifts of the spirit of God will flow, abundantly.
Elijah and the Still Small Voice
In 1 Kings chapter 19 verses 9 to 15 we read about Elijah hearing the voice of the Lord. This great prophet had fled in fear from Jezebel the evil queen of King Ahab of Israel, in fear Elijah was hiding in a cave when he heard the voice of the Lord. The Lord said to him, “ What are you doing here, Elijah? “ The prophet explained how diligent he had been and how all the prophets, except himself, had been killed. The Lord told Elijah that He had preserved 7,000 followers to Himself. As Elijah stood out on the mountain, the Lord passed by. A great strong wind tore the rocks into pieces. The Lord was not in the wind or the ensuing earthquake nor a fire that broke out. Then came the still small voice of the Lord. The Lord asked Elijah the same question again? “What are you doing here, Elijah? “ Elijah responded to the voice of the Lord. As the Lord commanded him he then went and anointed two kings and also anointed Elisha, to take his place as a prophet. How important it is that we listen to the still, small voice and be obedient to what the Holy Spirit tells us to do.
Your Spirit Is the Candle of the Lord
Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27 is such an important verse for all born again Christians. Our spirit is the lamp or light of the Lord. The Holy Spirit speaks to our spirit and not to our mind. The Holy Spirit searches all our inner parts or understanding and reveals what the Lord is saying to us. Only our spirit, which lives forever, is able to connect, through the Holy Spirit, to the things of God.
Incline your Ear To God's Word
How important it is to listen to the voice of the Lord. How can we do this? Isaiah chapter 55 verse 3 tells us to incline our ear to God's word. It is so necessary for us to know what the Holy Spirit is revealing to us, from God's word, the Bible. The important issue is to know and then be obedient to carry out God's will and purposes. If we hear then our whole being will live forever, because God will make His everlasting covenant with all who listen and obey.
We Live By the Spirit of God
How wonderful that the Lord contacts our inner person; our spirit. We read about this in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verses 11 to 16 Our spirit truly knows what we think. Only the Spirit of God knows the things of God. We don't live by the fleshly spirit of the world. The Holy Spirit contacts our spirit, that we may know what the Lord desires for our life. We speak not the wisdom that man's wisdom teaches but we speak the wisdom of God. The Lord enables us to compare spiritual things with His Spiritual understanding. Those who are not born again cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to the natural mind. They do not know spiritual things because only the regenerated spirit can know the things of God. All born again children are blessed to know the mind of God. The Holy Spirit shows our spirit, the things that belong to God.
Our Spirit Must Determine Our Life
Further understanding concerning seeking the things of the Spirit, comes from 1 Peter chapter 3 verses 1 to 5. It is so important that everyone and in particular ladies, make it a special goal to win their unsaved husbands, by their willingness to assist them and through their conduct, to become Christians. It is important that the outward adornment of hair arrangements, precious jewellery and wearing fine clothes, is not the major conduct or goal of their lives. What is most important for all Christians, is the revelation, through word and deed, of the regenerated beauty of the inner person.. This is the revelation of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Seek God's Will Only Through Your Spirit.
Seek the understanding and knowledge, of the will and purposes of God, through your inner person. Out of Your belly or inward parts, will flow rivers of living water, from the Throne of God. Always follow the Holy Spirit's directions, as He reveals God's truth to your spirit and as you read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's wisdom, to your every day life. Remember, you are an everlasting spirit, destined for great things in the Lord.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[~~~~~Have the Faith of God ~~~~~]]>Mon, 24 May 2021 03:05:42 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/have-the-faith-of-godPicture
We Must Walk By Faith
Every born again blood bought child of God is saved by faith in Christ's shed blood. They have repented of their sins and have been forgiven. In order to please the Father, in Jesus' they must walk or live by faith, which works through God's love. They must be obedient to the Holy Spirit's directions and be ready to fulfil God's will and purposes, rather than their own.
We Are Just and Righteous
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4 informs us that the just, that is those who are the true children of God, shall live by their faith. This faith is given to each Christian, through God's unmerited favour. It is through God's grace, alone. All those who are too proud to repent of their sins and give their lives to the Lord, have spirits which are not upright, nor indeed want to be. We must be thankful to the Lord for His mercy upon us and never live like the unrepentant world.
Our Words Must Speak Faith
We read in Mark chapter 11 verses 23 and 24 that we are to have the God kind of faith or the faith of God. God created the world by faith statements. He desires His children to walk in His ways and also to make faith statements based on His word. We have God's assurance that if we say to the mountains of doubt and unbelief if our life, be removed and cast into the sea, it will happen. However, there is one extremely important condition. There must be no doubt in the integrity of God's word We must believe what God's word says. If we truly believe, then those things which we say, will come to pass. God's word says so. Therefore whatever things you ask for when you pray, believe that you receive them and it will come to pass. Don't give up on any situation, where the answer is firmly based on God's word!
**The Source Of Our Faith**
**How do you get faith? Does it come from experiencing tragic circumstances? Does it come from being very ill? Does it come from losing your possessions or your family or going through terrible natural disasters or warfare? None of these things! According to Romans chapter 10 verse 12 it only comes from reading God's word over and over again, on a constant daily basis and applying God's word to your current situations.**
Don't Doubt God and His Word
Romans chapter 14 verse 23 tells us that if we doubt God and His Word, we become condemned. Even whatever we eat, must be by faith. If we do anything that is out of God's will and purposes, then we sin. A Christian's life must be full of faith; full of God's word.
We Are Redeemed Through Faith
Every Christian is saved through the faith of God. Every Christian must walk in this same faith, based on God's word. Every Christian should and can be healed of any illness, through faith in Jesus and His word. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7 makes this abundantly clear. We are to walk by faith, believing God is well able to enable each of us to overcome in every situation that confronts us, through the flesh, the world and the devil.
God's Faith Works Through His Grace
All Christian's have been saved through God's grace. We inherit our salvation, through God's faith, working by love. This we are told in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8. Salvation is God's free gift, to all who are willing to believe. Our redemption is achieved by our believing in the truth of God's word.
The Shield of Faith
We can win life's battles through holding up the shield of faith, which is God's word, against all the fiery darts of the wicked one. We are told about this in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 16. Whenever the life walk becomes tough, our shield of faith, destroys the power of the enemy, Satan.
What Is Faith?
Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 sets up the foundation for our understanding, of what faith really is. It is the substance or material for everything we hope for. It becomes the evidence of things not seen at the time our faith words are spoken. The once wild habits of a teenage boy or girl have now become realised through OUR faith filled words as they have now become faithful Christian parents. The need for a new church building is now fully realised by faith filled words spoken often years ago. As a result, a fine new building, is now a reality for all to see.
Always Base Your Faith On God's Word
To be a true Christian, able to inherit Gods promises, you must be a faith filled, word of God, person. This fact we learn from Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6. It is absolutely impossible to please God and obey His will and purposes, for your life, if you don't consistently speak out, faith filled words from the Bible. Everyone that comes to God, must believe that He exists. There is no such thing as a Christian atheist. As well as believing that there is a God we must also believe, by faith in His word, that what we ask for, He will do. It must always be good things, in line with His word. We must diligently seek Him by listening to the Holy Spirit and being obedient to Him. We must keep praying to and praising the Lord. It is absolutely imperative that we daily read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's words. over our circumstances, to be able to truly walk by faith. Always rely on the Lord and His word and you will live by the faith of God!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[~~~It Is Better To Obey Than Sacrifice~~~]]>Mon, 17 May 2021 03:08:54 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/it-is-better-to-obey-than-sacrificePicture
Obedience Is Better Than Sacrifices
God requires His children to be obedient to Him, rather than trying to do their own works. You can perform in as many deeds and services as you like, but if they are not according to God's will and purposes, it is all to no avail. It is honestly, useless. 1 Samuel chapter 15 verses 22 and 23, shows us why this is so.
Sacrifices Can Often Be Just Rituals
God does not delight Himself in all our activities and sacrifices that we make, but rather in our willingness to be obedient and do things God's way. It is far better to obey God than to do all the work we want to do or our church fellowship, desires us to do. We must first inquire of God and then do what the Holy Spirit instructs us to do. Not to be obedient to God is to become rebellious, like Israel of old and many in the church today. It is essentially twisting God's word and His will and purposes to suit their own and is basically a form of witchcraft. If we are stubborn, it causes us to become idolatrous. Not to obey God's word, really means that we have rejected God's word and we have put our spiritual lives in great danger. What are the true sacrifices of God? These are the ones that delight His heart, rather than doing our own thing.
Laying Aside Our Pride
Psalm 51 verse 17 makes it very plain. God desires people who have a broken spirit. Their pride is laid aside to embrace God's will and purposes. Life may have been very hard and circumstances have not gone their way. Finally, they realise they cannot make it on their own and they are willing to accept God's will and purposes, for their life. A heart that is broken and seeks repentance and God's forgiveness, will never be despised by God. So many of us need to step back from trying to do our best and be willing to pursue God's best.
We Must Listen and Obey God
We are told in Acts chapter 4 verse 19 that it is imperative to listen to God rather than to other people. Peter and John had been told not to preach the gospel. A helpless, crippled man had been healed. The two apostles were threatened with punishment, as a result. Every Christian must obey government rules but never should they obey laws that make it impossible to preach God's word. Some countries, governed by false religious ideology, make it a punishable offence, even decreeing the death sentence, to those who preach the gospel and make God's power, known. In every circumstance, we must obey God, rather than men.
Love God With Your Whole Being
Mark chapter 12 verse 33 informs us about what is far more important than sacrifices and doing our own thing. We are to love God with our whole heart and our understanding. We are to love God with all our soul and with all our strength. We are also to love our neighbour as ourselves. If we truly love God we will do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do. If we truly love other people we will tell them the gospel and try to help them in their daily situations, as much as we can. Our heart will be to pursue God's will and purposes and not our own. Doing God's will and being obedient to Him, is far greater than anything, we want to do.
Submit to Godly Authority
According to Hebrews chapter 13 verse 17 we are to submit to the authority that God has placed over us. This particularly applies to those in the church and for all of those who truly love the Lord. They are there to instruct our spirits and help us to stay out of harms way. Help them to help us with joy and not sadness. We must be obedient to those God has placed over us, in our walk, in following the path to eternal life. They also must also give and account of their conduct to God, who will correct them, if they do not care, in love, for the Lord's flock. Everyone of us must submit to and be obedient to God's will and purposes for our life.
God's Privileges and Blessings Can be Ours
The privileges and blessings, upon all who submit to God's will, are immense. These people are able to live in great peace and wisdom. Their families are blessed as well as their crops and gardens. Their finances and their homes and possessions, are blessed. They will be wonderful overcomers through the word of their testimony and the blood of their covenant, in the Lord. These people spend quality time each day reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's words, to all their life's situations. In so doing they also pray and intercede on behalf of others. They begin their day by praising the Lord and so on throughout their day. They give honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. In so doing they are well able to defeat the flesh, the world and the devil.
                                                                            Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[~~~~~~Witnessing To Others~~~~~~]]>Mon, 10 May 2021 03:52:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/witnessing-to-othersPicture
Our Most Important Task
It is absolutely essential that all born again Christians are willing to reach out to those who are unsaved. Christians are given the mandate to witness or reach out to all those who are perishing; who do not know that they can be forgiven of their sins and obtain God's gracious gift of eternal life. God's children were commissioned by the Lord to do so, in Matthew chapter 28 verse 19. This is a command to share the gospel with family members, relatives, friends; those of our workplace and even casual acquaintances. It can happen in our home; in our street; at the bus stop; in the market place and even at our church services. It is the most important activity of any born again believer.
How Do We Share the Gospel?
The easy way is in conversation, with someone else, when the opportunity arises. Don't force the issue! Wait upon the Holy Spirit's guidance to know the best time to share. It may be when you are talking about a family incident. Another occasion could arise, when you invite them to come along to a church social gathering or a special outreach service. It can easily happen when people have an accident or are quite sick. You can pray for their healing or quick recovery. You may also be able to leave them a bible tract or a New Testament to read. It can also be an opportunity to help them around the house or doing some gardening. Witnessing should become part of our normal conversation and never a forced effort where you or another person become embarrassed. Seize every God given opportunity that comes your way. Be patient! God's timing is always perfect.
Witness God's Way
It is important that at the beginning of the day, or during your quiet time, to ask the Lord to open up His opportunities, to witness to other people, that very day or in the very near future. God will lay a burden upon you to reach out to other people and show you how to do it. To be truly effective, it must be done as the Holy Spirit gives you wisdom and at the Lord's right time. Seeking His face first will make the task of witnessing so much easier.
We Are His Witnesses
Isaiah chapter 43 verse 10 tells us that God's children are His witnesses. Jesus was the chief witness of God His Father, when He came to earth. When they had seen Jesus they had also seen the Father. Jesus was chosen as God's chief witness of who God really is and we are to follow in His footsteps in obedience to the Lord's will and purposes. There is no God but our God; whom we worship; and there will never be any other God.
God So Loves His Creation
For many people who witness to others, a key and well known verse is John chapter 3 verse 16. God so loves all His creation with a love which is far greater than any human being can know on earth. Jesus was sent to tell everyone, that there was a way out, of the bondage of sin and that each person had the opportunity to receive sins forgiven and healing of spirit, soul and body. Jesus promises in His word and through His chosen children, that if they accept God's gracious invitation, they will never perish, but have everlasting life.
We Fight the Fight of Faith
As born again believers, we can daily fight the good fight of faith. We read about this in 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 12. In so doing we lay hold of God's promise, of eternal life. We are to confess God's wonderful goodness to us, before many witnesses. These witnesses include our family, friends, and those we come in contact with. We are able to do this by building up our faith constantly, by reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word. We must always live by faith and not by sight.
We Are Surrounded by Witnesses
Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1 informs us that we are continually surrounded by a vast number of witnesses, both in heaven and on earth. We are to set aside every weight or hindrance of the flesh, the world and the devil which can so easily trap Christians in their earthly walk of faith. We are to run with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, and not in our own strength. In this way we will always be victorious in the Lord.
Witnesses Shine As Lights, Forever
Always, make sharing the wondrous gospel of salvation, as your major task in life. Those that do so will shine as lights, forever. We learn about this from Daniel chapter 12 verse 3. these people will shine like the brightness of the heavens, particularly those witnesses that turn many to righteousness; they will sparkle as the stars, forever and ever. God rewards all those children, who are His faithful witnesses.
                                                            Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[---------------- The Great Deception-------------------]]>Thu, 06 May 2021 02:30:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/-the-great-deceptionPicture
Are You Deceived?
This world, lives day by day, under the great deception or lies of Satan. The only way this deception can be broken is by people submitting, individually, to God’s will and purposes for their lives. If people are willing to recognise that they are sinners, in need of salvation and are willing to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and ask for His forgiveness, then the snare of sin can be broken. Salvation brings forgiveness and only the precious blood, shed by Jesus, on the Cross of Calvary, is sufficient for anyone to obtain forgiveness of sins and their eternal salvation.

There Is Only One Way to Heaven
Many people, from many walks of life, throughout nearly two thousand years, have claimed that they were going to Heaven. The big deception is that Satan has deceived people into believing that they were going to Heaven by whatever means, or leader, or religious organisation, they decided or accepted as their proposed way to Heaven. However, God’s Word is very specific. It tells us in Acts chapter 4 verse 12 that there is no other name through which man can be saved except through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This is the only name, under Heaven, whereby man can be saved.

The Great Problem
One of the great problems for all mankind is the great deception that Satan has woven into man’s thinking. Man, himself , has cooperated to a large degree with Satan. Mankind has wrongly believed that they can be their own saviour. Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 and 14 tells us to “ enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” According to this verse, the majority of mankind has not gone to Heaven but to Hell, as their final destination.

Man's Heart Is Deceitful
Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9 tells us that the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. By itself ,it is incurably sick. Only Jesus and His shed blood can destroy the effects of sin, in a person’s life. They must recognise that they are sinners requiring a saviour. Only Jesus, is their appointed redeemer to the honour and glory of the Father.

Pride Is the Root Problem
Man is a very proud creature and usually believes that he or she is good enough to go to Heaven without outside redemption. They strive to live a moral life even helping their fellow man in many situations. They have even gone to church regularly and performed many civic functions and services and given money to church and charitable projects and have been willing to give liberally to organisations that benefit people and even work to help others in his or her community. They even help out in foreign countries. They do consider their works to be righteous or at least worthy of brownie points in their endeavour to reach the eternal heavenly goal. However, all our attempts at our own righteousness are as filthy rags in God’s sight
God Is Holy and Righteous.
Isaiah proclaimed this to an unrepentant Israel, in Isaiah chapter 50 verse 6.The God of the Universe is a Holy and Righteous God and no amount of even selfless acts by mankind ,will ever equate to the standard of righteousness required by God to enter His presence for eternity.

We Are to Be Holy, Also
In Isaiah chapter 6 verse 3 we read that God is holy, holy, holy. There is no unrighteousness in Him. In 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 16 we are told to be holy as He is holy. How can we be holy like God? We can be by being washed in His shed blood so that our sins are taken away and by desiring to live a holy life with commitment to God and His ways and thereby being a blessing to all our brothers and sisters in Christ. They also can be a great blessing to those that deny the Lord or as yet have not received Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[God's Wonderful Love -Part 2]]>Mon, 03 May 2021 02:55:15 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-wonderful-love-part-2Picture
Only God's Love Can Keep God's Laws
From John chapter 14 verse 15 we read how important it is to keep God's commandments. God's commandments embrace everything that is righteous and holy. We are to love the Lord with all our heart, our mind and our strength We are to be willing to do whatever the Lord commands us to do . We are to love other people. It is important not to hurt people in word or deed. It is important not to belittle other people. We should also care for their needs. Never should we tell lies about them or in any manner, steal from them. Never should we desire to pay them back for evil words or actions that they do against us.
God's Love Must Be a Continual Flow
Romans chapter 5 verse 5 informs us that we have a continual flow of God's love available to us. God's love has been poured out upon us, through the Holy Spirit. When we think that we should say or do something in payback to others, the love of God constrains our emotional impulses. If we are obedient to the Holy Spirit and know what God says in His word, we won't go ahead and stir up strife, towards other people. This is particularly important in family relationships, in work place activities and very much towards members of the body of Christ. We must always obey the yearnings of the Holy Spirit, and not go ahead maliciously, to do our own things of the flesh and thereby cause strife.
Give Without Expecting a Return
Romans chapter 12 verses 9 and 10 tells us that we are to love others, not because of what we can gain from our relationship, but rather what we can give. We are to abhor all kinds of evil and welcome and desire all that is good. Always have kind affections for each other. Love others with a brotherly or sisterly love. Give honour or preferential treatment to each other.
Love Must Not Be Puffed Up
1 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 1b shows us that if we have a great deal of knowledge and we parade it in front of others, to show our supposed intellect, our personal being becomes puffed up. Those who truly love, only use their knowledge to help others and help build up their understanding.
Love Never Fails
In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 8 we read that love never fails. Love always attracts the best in other people, as well as in ourselves. Even great prophecies will fail. Speaking in tongues will one day cease, as its purpose to edify, will be finished. Even all the marvellous knowledge of modern technology and medical science will also be finished superseded by the wonderful everlasting knowledge of God.
The Greatest Gift
1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13 informs us that only three great gifts of God, will last. They are faith, hope and love. By far the greatest of these is love. This is the wonderful love of God which was demonstrated when Jesus went to the Cross. God, Himself, died and shed His precious blood for the redemption of mankind and thus gave the opportunity for everyone to be able to enjoy the God kind of life and love for eternity.
Our Love Is Established Through Christ
How can we be established in God's great love? Ephesians chapter 3 verse 17 gives us the answer. Christ is able, through the Holy Spirit, to dwell in our regenerated spirit, or inner person. You know His love in you because it is rooted and grounded in you. In order to build up your inner person and your soul, we must spend time daily in God's word, reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word, to all aspects of your life.
We Must Love Others As Ourselves
Ephesians chapter 5 verse 25 tells us that in the marriage relationship, husbands are to love their wives, in the same way that Christ loves the church. Both partners must be willing to love each other and husbands are to make a whole hearted effort, to sustain the relationship, being the stronger vessel.
Faith Works By Love
Galatians chapter 5 verse 6 informs us that even our faith in God and for life itself, will only work by love. The more you love the greater the effort you will be enabled to make in your walk by faith.
We Overcome Through God's Love
God's commandments are not burdensome. One of the reasons is that being obedient to God's laws, make the obstacles of life so more easier to navigate. We read about this in 1 John chapter 5 verse 3. God's love is demonstrated to a sick and dying world, as you pursue your love walk in every aspect of your life.
Be Compassionate To the Needy
1 John chapter 3 verse 17 tells us to be compassionate and loving to those in need. If you see a fellow Christian or even another human being in need, it is your responsibility to try and help them, if you can. This may be in finance or the wherewithal to help them. If you personally don't have the ability to help, then direct them to your church or a charitable organisation that can help them. If you don't make an effort, how can the love of God be shown to others? We must always make an effort to help, particularly as the Holy Spirit prompts us.
God's Children Must Walk In Love
The Christian life must be founded on faith, that works through God's love. The love of God is that which enables us, to become children of God. We must pursue His love in all our circumstances of life. In doing so we will put to flight the wickedness of the flesh, the world and the devil. Christians must be obedient lovers, just as God is the great lover of mankind, Keep on walking in God's love for you are an inheritor of eternal life and love!

<![CDATA[God's Wonderful Love -Part 1]]>Thu, 29 Apr 2021 03:17:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-wonderful-love-part-1Picture
We Are Inheritors
All those who love the Lord have His love spread abroad by the Holy Spirit, in their hearts or inner persons. This love is for the twofold purpose of worshipping God in sincerity and truth, as well as having the God given ability to love other people, of any racial or ethnic background. This love seeks the best in others and does not hold any grudges against fellow human beings. This love enables God's children, to walk by faith, in God's word and to instantly forgive others their wicked and intended deeds or mistakes. It is the love of God which surpasses all earthly understandings. This kind of love can only emanate from Jesus, by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for the honour and glory of the Father.
God's Love Is Full of His Goodness
Psalm 63 verse 3 tells us of the outworking of God's love to His children and the opportunity for all humanity. His loving kindness is better than life. His great love and protection for all His children who will heed His voice, is manifest every day, in His mighty provision for them. It is also manifest in His great healing power and in His goodness. Particularly, is His loving kindness manifest, to all who will believe His word and live by faith, in obedience to His will and purposes. All who make the effort to read his word, the Bible and meditate on its wise counsel and confess His word over their circumstances, experience His great love towards them.
God's True Love
We learn about an important fact of love, in Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12. Evil thoughts, divisive words and malicious acts are all forms of hatred, towards other people. However true love, God's love, covers a multitude, in fact, all kinds of sins. When we repent and ask for God's forgiveness, we set the love of God free in our spirits and then our souls, to all our family and relatives; other fellow Christians and everyone that we meet.
King Solomon's Romance
In Song of Solomon chapter 2 verse 4, we learn about the beautiful romance between the Shulamite and her beloved, King Solomon. In this instance, the Shulamite, is talking to all the daughters of Jerusalem. Solomon, the great lover, has brought his beloved to the banqueting house. His banner, over his beloved, is love. It is a description of God and in particular our Lord Jesus and His great love for His children and His bride, the church.
We Show God's Love To Other People
We learn about our duty, as the body of Christ, regarding our relationship with other people, from Matthew chapter 5 verses 43 and 44. In earlier times, in the Old Testament, it had been stated that we were to love our neighbour, or those whom we liked and hate our enemies. However, Jesus turned this idea on its head. God's children, the church, are to love their enemies as well. We also are to bless those who curse us and are vindictive towards us. We are to do good to all who wrongfully treat us and intercede, in prayer before God's throne, for all who hate us and persecute us. The more we do so, the more we will see the enemy defeated, as well as the naughty antics of our own flesh and the corrupt activity of the world.
Only Two Laws to Keep
Mark chapter 12 verses 30 and 31 informs us concerning the two laws that all true Christians must keep. The first commandment or law, is to love the lord your God with all your heart; your inner person or spirit; with all your soul; that is your will, or point of direction for your soul or spirit your mind or intellect and your emotions or feelings and with all the strength and the power of your body. The second commandment is to love your neighbour, that is your family; your relatives; your friends or even your acquaintances. You are to love them as much as you love yourself. Jesus said that there are no greater commandments than these two. You allow your spirit to direct your will, to enable you, to love the most downcast beggar along with the proudest ruler.
We Must Love Our Enemies
From Luke chapter 6 verses 27 to 36 we read how far reaching, our love walk needs to be. It is no where good enough just to love those who love us. As Christians, we are to love our enemies, as well. Not only love them in word, but also love them by providing for them and doing good deeds, unto them. We are to bless those who actively curse us in word and in deed. Those who are spiteful to us and desire to do harm to us, we are to actively love.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Keep Your Healing]]>Mon, 26 Apr 2021 04:13:22 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/keep-your-healingPicture
Healing Is Most Important
Healing of spirit, soul and body is of upmost importance to all human beings. How often have we seen, either in person or on a television screen, mass healing meetings by televangelists, of many people being saved or healed. At times we have witnessed healing taking place, in our small local church and even in our homes. Healing is still fairly prevalent in some Pentecostal and faith- filled churches. The important question arises; how long do these people keep their healing? Is it for the full time of life's journey or does it last for only a few years or even months or weeks or perhaps, only a few days? Like most issues regarding healing; even if you are in a natural state, you have to live a healthy, lifestyle to maintain your healing. This means cleanliness, nourishing food and exercise.
God Is Our True Healer
We know from psalm 103 verse 3, that God not only forgives us our sins, but also heals us from our diseases. God is truly the healer of all who are willing to believe, in Him and His word.
Healing Is Our Born Again Right
In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 we learn that by the stripes or the blows that cut into Jesus' back, we are healed. Our healing is part of the Lord's salvation package, for all who truly believe.
Turn to the Lord
All of God's children can be forgiven, healed. and restored However, repentance is a vital aspect of our restoration. This we read in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14. We must be willing to pray and call upon His name. We must humble ourselves and seek His face. We must turn from our own wicked ways. If we do so, God will hear from Heaven and will forgive our sins, Not only will we be healed but also others who do so, will be healed..
It Is God's Will to Heal You
Is it God's will to heal me? The answer is found in Matthew chapter 4 verse 23. First of all, Jesus taught the people and preached the gospel of the Kingdom to them. Then He healed them of all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. This same work needs to be faithfully carried out by the body of Christ, in the very age in which we live. God certainly desires to heal or else Jesus would have been working against God's will and purposes.
Disciples Were Sent to Heal
We read in Matthew chapter 10 verses 7 and 8 that Jesus' disciples were sent out to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons so that the people would be free, indeed. All church leaders should tell their congregations that the Kingdom of heaven, is already at hand, this very day.
You Can Strengthen or Lose Your Healing
According to Romans chapter 10 verse 17 we are told that faith comes by hearing and hearing, over and over again, the word of God. Our faith rises as we daily, read the word, confess the word and apply the word to all our circumstances. As we pay attention to what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit or our inner voice, our spirit then tells our mind, will, and our body to be obedient to God's will and purposes. As a result our faith increases and so does our bodily health. Just because you were healed in a wonderful way, weeks or months ago, you must also maintain your healing by faith, daily, on God's word, If not you can gradually lose your healing and soon be back on your medicines. Perhaps you will be much worse than before, or even be faced with many other healing problems, down the line. You will not lose your healing, if you are diligent and listen and are obedient to the Holy Spirit and are consistent with your reading and application of God's word to your health and other circumstances.
You Must Live By Faith
2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7 informs all Christians that we are to live by faith and not by our sight or circumstances. Take your eyes off your situations and problems and put them squarely on the Lord and His word, as a consistent practice. Then you will be able to maintain your healing; spirit, soul and body.
Keep Maintaining Your Health
Your first task in life, is to keep praising and worshipping the Lord. You are to read, meditate and confess His word, each day. Always keep praying and interceding for others and as you pray for your family and friends, before God's throne, and obey the Holy Spirit's directions, you will surely keep your healing. There will be an increase in your spiritual and natural abilities as a result. You will have divine victory each day and be able to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Remember, it is truly God's will for you to walk in His divine healing and have good health but you must also do your part, in obedience to God's word and His directions, for your life. Place your life securely under the cleansing power of Christ's blood and live in His resurrection power. His resurrection and healing power will become stronger in you, as you abide in Jesus Christ, your Lord and Saviour. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[The Kingdom of God -Part 2]]>Thu, 22 Apr 2021 02:57:39 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-kingdom-of-god-part-2Picture
True Citizens of the Kingdom
From Luke chapter 9 verse 62 we learn about a very important characteristic of those who inherit the Kingdom of God. They learn the word and keep on doing what the word says. They read the word, meditate on the word, confess the word and apply the word to all their daily situations and circumstances. They don't stop doing God's will and purposes when things get difficult, but keep on going forward in God's victory. They don't look back at previous failures or at the mistakes of others, but rather keep pressing forwards by faith, that keeps coming daily from God's word, the Bible. They keep praising and worshipping the Lord and have determined to allow the Holy Spirit, to give them overcoming power, every day.
It Is An Everlasting Kingdom
The Kingdom of God is a mighty, everlasting Kingdom. Romans chapter 14 verses 17 and 18 tells us what the Kingdom is not and what it is really all about. The Kingdom of God does not consist of eating and drinking. It is not modelled on the aspects of an earthly kingdom. It is a Kingdom of righteousness where there are no lies or deceit. It is a Kingdom of great peace. All the battles are over for Satan and his demons are bound and every one can live and dwell, in perfect safety. It is also a Kingdom of wonderful joy, where everyone is full of the goodness of God and where the Holy Spirit flows through all of its citizens, in a fullness experienced forever and rarely, experienced on planet earth. This Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom where the flesh is dead and where the things of a Holy God, prevail.
No Unrighteous People in the Kingdom.
A very stern warning is given to all who are unredeemed. In 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 to 11. Every unrighteous person will not inherit the Kingdom of God. People must not be deceived about this. The list of unbelievers is almost endless. No adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, covetous persons, extortioners or drunkards will inherit the Kingdom of God. All who remain unrighteous will perish from God's influence and receive damnation in hell. Many Christians were like this before they repented and sought God's forgiveness for their sins. All who are washed by the blood of the Lamb and the water of God's word, become sanctified or made holy. They are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God.
Get Rid of Your Fleshly Works
Galatians chapter 5 verses 19 to 21 confirms that all who continue in the works of the flesh, will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Folks you can't just keep doing your own evil thing and get away with it! The works of the flesh include adultery, fornication, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, as well as becoming contentious and jealous. It also includes outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, believing wicked heresies, being envious, having murderous thoughts, speech and actions and being full of revelry and drunkenness, among other sins. Those people who do these things and don't repent, will be excluded from God's eternal Kingdom and from the eternal life of God's love, peace, righteousness and joy.
We Have Been Delivered From Satan's Kingdom.
All those who love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and have repented of their sins, are able to gain entrance to God's Kingdom. We are told about this in Colossians chapter 1 verses 13 and 14. The Lord has delivered us from the power of darkness, which is Satan's kingdom and has transferred us into the Kingdom of God's dear Son, Jesus Christ. We have been redeemed by acceptance of God's gracious gift of sins forgiven and eternal life, as a result of Christ's shed blood on the Cross of Calvary.
God's Kingdom Conquers All Other Kingdoms
This most wonderful fact is given to us, in Revelation chapter 11 verse 15. At the end of time, all the kingdoms of the earth, whether political, financial, or even false religions, will be conquered by the Kingdom of God, and His dear Son. They will become God's kingdoms as Satan is deprived of all his earthly influence and power and thrown into the Lake of Fire, with all his demons. The Kingdom of God will have no equal and will reign forever in God's power. Unfortunately, those who ignored God's righteous call of repentance and forgiveness will also be thrown into the Lake of Fire forever, as well as the Devil and his angels. Those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, while on earth, will remain with God, victoriously, throughout eternity.
We Are Righteous Citizens of God's Kingdom.
All God's children are released from eternal damnation as soon as they repent and have their sins forgiven. They, at that point become righteous citizens of the Kingdom of God. If you are one of those blessed people, then keep on worshipping and praising the Lord. Keep on reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word to all your situations and circumstances in life. Keep praying and bringing your petitions and intercessions before God's Throne, in Jesus name. Complete victory is yours right now and for all who are children of God, for these are the true citizens of the Kingdom of God.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Kingdom of God -Part 1]]>Mon, 19 Apr 2021 05:57:39 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-kingdom-of-god-part-1Picture
The Earthly Kingdom of God
All who are born again Christians are already living in the earthly portion of the Kingdom of God. Those who willingly hand over control of their lives to Jesus and repent of their sins, have now become citizens of the Kingdom of God. They are, through Jesus' shed blood on the Cross of Calvary, able to inherit God's wonderful riches, through His free gift of grace, His eternal blessings, forever. It is possible to backslide for a season and even make your faith walk almost, a complete shipwreck. However, there is always a way back through repentance and then being obedient to God's will and purposes, for your life.
Daniel's Prophecy of God's Kingdom
In Daniel chapter 2 verses 43 and 44 in the Old Testament, the prophet Daniel, prophesies of the beginning of the Kingdom of God upon earth, during the time of the Roman Empire. This Empire was like many earthly kingdoms, iron mixed with clay. This is an extraordinarily poor combination of strength of military arms and worldly wisdom. There is no way that true strength can mix with the futility of the world, and be successful. God the Father Himself, has set up His kingdom which will never be destroyed. Christians are citizens of this everlasting kingdom. This kingdom is empowered by the Holy Spirit of God and His word and will never be left in the hands of mankind or Satan, to be destroyed and broken in pieces.
John the Baptist Was the Forerunner
We read in Matthew chapter 3 verses 1 to 6 about John the Baptist, the forerunner of our Lord Jesus Christ. He went out to the wilderness of Judea, preaching to those who would hear, that they were to repent of their sins, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. This event was prophesied by the Prophet Isaiah, more than 700 years previously. John was to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. He was humbly clothed in a skin of camel's hair and a leathern belt. His food consisted of locusts and wild honey. All the people from Judea and Jerusalem went out to hear his message of repentance. They confessed their sins and were baptised by John in the Jordan River near Bethabara. All who repent and confess their sins are washed in the blood of the Lamb and at their repentance and forgiveness, have become citizens of the Kingdom of God.
Gateway to the Kingdom
We learn in Matthew chapter 4 verse 17 that the King of Glory, Jesus, Himself, is now preaching and teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus emphasises that the gateway is repentance and eternal forgiveness is given, by Him, to all who believe and obey. There is really only one key to the entrance, to the Kingdom of God. It is repentance and nothing less. Our God, our Redeemer, is a holy God. Nothing but full surrender to His will and purposes will do. You must never be half hearted about your confession and walk of faith. It must be all or it amounts to nothing. In life, we have a battle to win over the world, the flesh and the devil. Our freedom was made complete on the Cross of Calvary and our full assurance of eternal salvation and life is completed in our obedience to God.
Jesus Preached About the Kingdom of God
The location emphasis on preaching about the Kingdom of God, has now shifted to northern Israel and in particular, the region of Galilee. We read about this in Mark chapter 1 verses 14 and 15. Jesus is now preaching about the Kingdom of God, because Herod has put John the Baptist in prison. The time for the beginning of the Kingdom of God, was now being fulfilled in Jesus' ministry. The people were instructed to repent and believe in the gospel. This same statement must be preached in the churches of our city, state and nation, this very day. God's message regarding His Kingdom and repentance must be the same message, preached in Israel nearly 2000 years ago. The Kingdom of God is everlasting. The key to citizenship in that Kingdom, is repentance. The blessings and benefits of this Kingdom are immeasurable and enable a person to become a child of God and live in His presence in everlasting love, joy and peace, forever.
The Blessings of God's Kingdom
Mark chapter 12 verses 32 to 34 informs us of the wonderful blessings, that are ours, in the Kingdom of God. All those people who love the Lord with all their soul and with all their strength and love their neighbours as themselves, have become the true citizens of the Kingdom of God. Love is the fulfilling of God's laws and is far greater than all our good practices and diligent work efforts. Jesus had just been talking to a scribe, who had answered Jesus' question about the fulfilment of God's laws. All of God's laws are fulfilled in our love for God and other people. Jesus told the man that he, at that stage, in his answer to the Lord's question, was not far from the Kingdom of God. All Christians must also be lovers of God, of other people and particularly, fellow Christians. They also must love truth and all that is just and noble. Those who repent and practise these things, are truly citizens of the Kingdom of God.

<![CDATA[You Must Forgive- Part 2]]>Thu, 15 Apr 2021 04:59:19 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-must-forgive-part-2Picture
Freedom Comes to Those Who Forgive
Always forgive others their sins or mistakes against you. John chapter 20 verse 23 tells us about unforgiveness towards other people. If we forgive the sins of those that sin against us, then both us and they are free from the shame of those sins. If we don't forgive people their sins or mistakes, those sins remain unforgiven and often cause us to have a separation point of guilt. It is so important to forgive others. We certainly obtain our freedom in the situation concerned and hopefully they will also appreciate the wonderful condition, of sins forgiven.
Don't Try to Payback Others
Ephesians chapter 4 verse 32 informs us that we are to be tender hearted and forgiving towards each other. If someone tries to upstage us or put us down we are not to try and outsmart them but to be patient with them and pray for them. If they are our fellow Christian brother or sister, in the Lord, it is imperative. The major reason we are to do this is to be like Christ. After all we are all made in the image of God. We are commanded to forgive just as God, in Christ, has forgiven us. Forgiveness is akin to love and we are to make a big effort to love every person that we meet.
Forgiveness Requires Helping Others
Colossians chapter 3 verse 13 tells us not only to forgive but also to bear with one another. We are to be willing to help others at all times, but particularly in their times of grief and distress. Sometimes this will require us to get in and physically assist them. We are also to try and help the other person to see things, like we do. This may mean, on our part, that we change our attitude also, to see where they are coming from. We make this effort because the Lord made His amazing sacrifice, on the Cross for us. He not only forgave us our sins but also adopted us as His children. The Lord also helps us constantly, in our daily circumstances. Above all He has given us eternal life. Jesus will always be willing to help us to forgive others and to even forgive ourselves for our sinful acts, wrong attitudes and even our mistakes.
God Will Never Remember Your Sins, If You Repent
What a wonderful fact we learn about in Hebrews chapter 10 verses 17 and 18. Jesus has not only forgiven us but He will also never remind us of our lawless deeds or sins, anymore. We have absolute freedom in Christ. Jesus' sacrifice was the final offering for sins, for all mankind, for evermore. Just as Jesus forgave us our sins and no longer remembers them, we must also forgive others their lawless deeds and sins against us or our family. Not only must we forgive, but as much as is humanly possible, never remind them of their sins and mistakes but forgive and forget them and put them under the blood shed by Jesus on the Cross, on our behalf and theirs.
We Must Seek Forgiveness and Repent
If we sin after becoming a Christian, what do we do about it? 1 John chapter 1 verse 9 gives us the perfect answer. First thing to do is to confess our sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Jesus always forgives those who repent, because He is a just and holy God, who understands our human frame. Jesus, then will cleanse us from all our unrighteousness, every time that we sin, if we are truly sorry. He knows our heart attitude. Never be afraid to repent and also, if possible, tell other people that you are sorry for what you thought, said or did to them. Forgiveness is possible, in the Lord, for every sin or mistake.
Keep Forgiving and Forgetting
God has forgiven us so we must also be willing to forgive and even forget. What a difference this would make, if only this was practised more often and sincerely, in the Christian world.! It would surely make many people sit up and take notice of God's gracious claims, upon their lives. Those who spend time praying for others, as well as reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all their life circumstances, as well as worshipping and praising the Lord, are well placed to become great forgivers. They truly are learning to appreciate God's great forgiveness for all their sins and wrong attitudes. Forgiveness and love must be the hallmarks of every blood bought, born again, child of God. Their are no real excuses for a child of God to behave, otherwise. Don't ever give Satan, the world or the flesh any platform, to hurt you through unforgiveness. Always forgive! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Must Forgive - Part 1]]>Mon, 12 Apr 2021 05:05:09 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-must-forgive-part-1Picture
Christians Must Be Forgiving
Christians must be a forgiving people. Christ, their Lord and Saviour, has forgiven each one of us, all our sins and iniquities. He forgave us our wrong thoughts and intentions, our wrong words and our wrong actions. As His blood bought children, we are to forgive other people, not only their intended wrong actions and speech, but also their mistakes. Christ's love is daily shown to the world through the kind words and actions of His children. Particularly important, in all aspects of our life, is our willingness to forgive and not only forgive but like Jesus, put aside the cruel and wicked speech and actions of those who do not know God. We must also forgive members of our own family; our friends and relatives; workmates, as well as our fellow church members.
God's People Must Be Humble
In 2 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 14 we read about God's requirements for His people. God requires His people to be humble before Him. It is important, particularly, in these days of rabid and violent satanic activity that people pray to the Lord, on a regular and consistent basis. Furthermore, they are to seek the Lord in all their circumstances and turn away from all their evil and ungodly ways. If they do so, God will hear from heaven, because His people are now serious about doing His will and purposes in their lives. The wonderful result of seeking God's face, in earnest prayer, is that He will forgive their sins and then will be able to heal their land. God's people are often the hindrance to His will being performed. This means healing in our souls, in our family relationships, in our health, in our finances and even witnessing a change in the laws and prosperity of the city or country in which we live.
We Must Not Cover Up Our Sins
We are to confess and turn away from our sins. Proverbs chapter 28 verse 13 informs us what to do. If you cover up sins, so that others do not know about them and keep continuing in them, you will have no freedom or real success in life. Those who repent and confess their sins to the Lord and do not continue in them, will be forgiven and obtain, through God's mercy, God's gracious pardon. The sins of God's children must be repented of, before God is able to heal their circumstances and heal them and others involved.
When We Forgive Others, God Forgives Us
The Lord's prayer gives us wonderful information on forgiveness. This is found in Matthew chapter 6 verses 12, 14 and 15. We must ask the Lord to forgive us our debts or what we owe to Him and other people. This may be financial but it will include a lack of love for others, or a lack of diligence, or a lack of deeming others better than ourselves. We must also be willing to forgive others when they default on payments or agreements or have a hostile or unforgiving attitude. The most crucial aspect of our wanting to forgive, is that when we willingly forgive others, their sins and mistakes towards us, then our Father in heaven, is able to forgive us our sins or debts. If we don't forgive, it is a very serious matter. How often have we heard people say, that they will never forgive someone, for what they have done to them. We cannot afford to be like that! The Bible tells us that if we don't forgive others, from our heart, then our Father will not forgive us our sins towards Him. If we carry this attitude of unforgiveness, throughout our lives, then our eternal destination is no longer heaven but eternal damnation in hell. Every Christian must be like their Father in heaven and be willing to forgive others, just as He has forgiven us.
Before Praying Always Forgive
Mark chapter 11 verse 25 gives us and important point, for our prayers. When we are praying, wherever we are, if we have anything against someone else, we are to forgive them. Then we are able to pray in spiritual freedom. We also learn that, if we do so, we will have our prayers heard and answered, by our Father in heaven. Many prayer answers are hindered by lack of forgiveness, on the part of those who are praying.
Those Who Are Forgiven Much Are Very Grateful
Some people appear to have so much more freedom, in their Christian walk. We read about the woman, with the alabaster box of fragrant oil, who was a sinner, in Luke chapter 7. In verse 47 we learn why she was so grateful, for Jesus' forgiveness of her sins. The relief to her soul was so great. Jesus told Simon, the Pharisee, that she was so grateful to be forgiven and so are all those sinners who have repented and know they are now, forgiven. Those who are forgiven little are not as thankful as those who are forgiven much. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being -Part 4]]>Thu, 08 Apr 2021 04:27:28 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-4Picture
We Are All Spirit Beings
Every person is a spirit being. The major difference is if you are born again and have a regenerated spirit or whether you remain in sin as an unregenerate spirit. The regenerated spirit is heaven bound, with sins forgiven, while the unregenerate spirit is hell bound, with sins unforgiven.
We Are Convicted by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is always convicting our spirit and desiring our spirit, to walk in God's ways. James chapter 4 verses 5 to 8 tells us of the yearning of the Holy Spirit in us. Pride is often the reason we don't achieve what God has planned for our lives. We try to do things our way and it doesn't work for us or else it is just a great flop. God will always resist the proud but He will give grace to those who are humble and willing to do things His way. Always submit to God and do His work in His way. In so doing you will also resist the devil and His ways. Satan will have to flee from you, for He recognises God's resurrection power and authority being made available in your life. This is because of your obedience to God's will and purposes. If we are willing to draw near to God, He will then dray near to us. He will cleanse us through His shed blood and purify our spirits.
We Are God Like Beings.
Every human being is created in the image of God as a spirit being. Why? Well God, our Creator, is also a spirit being. This we learn from John chapter 4 verse 24. God is a spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and truth. What an important understanding, is taught through these words. Everyone who truly desires to worship God, must worship Him through their inner person or spirit. It is only your spirit which is able to connect with the Holy Spirit. Our minds may have marvellous intentions but they can never worship God, in spirit and truth. Our inner person or spirit alone, can truly worship God.
Resurrected As Heavenly Beings
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 42 to 49. We are instructed as to how we are resurrected from merely living as an earthly being to being translated into a heavenly being. Your earthly being is first of all fallen and sinful, but in Christ, we are raised in glory and made alive. Our earthly being is weak and foolish, but in Christ's resurrected power is raised in strength and glory. We are at first a natural being, but through Christ, we become a spiritual, heavenly body. All who remain in an unregenerate state, bear the image or being of the earthly. Those who are born again bear the image of the heavenly, which is Christ. In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 50 we learn that flesh and blood or our unregenerate state, cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
God Resists Proud People
God resists the proud and His grace abides upon all who submit themselves to the Lord. We read about this in 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 5 to 9. We must also learn to submit ourselves, one to another. It is imperative that we all humble ourselves before God's mighty hand. This allows God to exalt us, at His appointed time. We must cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us. At all times we must be vigilant and sober, because our adversary, the devil, goes about like a roaring lion. I repeat, he acts like a roaring lion. He seeks those whom he may devour. We must resist him and he must flee. How do we do this? We do this by walking by faith in God's word and by listening and applying the Holy Spirit's directions and by steadfastly proclaiming God's victory in our lives, in every situation. Remember, Satan only appears to be a roaring lion. He is no threat to a genuine believer.
Our Wonderful Victory in Jesus
1 John chapter 4 verse 4 informs us of our wonderful victory. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are both giving us their victory. Our spirit connects with God the Holy Spirit. God in us, has enabled us to overcome Satan and all his diabolic schemes in our life because greater is God in us than Satan operating in the world. We have God's victory over Satan, continually available to us, right now, so that we can always overcome. After all we have been raised with Christ and are seated in heavenly places, with Him, far above Satan's power.
Our Wonderful Conclusion
Always, every day, give your spirit as well as your body, three square meals of God's word so that you can truly walk by faith and overcome every plot of the flesh, the world and the devil. Remember you are, above all else, a regenerated spiritual being where your spirit is supreme to every aspect of your soul and your body. You are no longer just a doubt filled, unregenerate spirit being, but an overcoming regenerated spirit being, no longer destined for damnation but for everlasting life. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being - Part 3]]>Mon, 05 Apr 2021 03:13:24 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-3Picture
Speaking In Tongues
Speaking in tongues is a vital aspect of our Christian walk. Often we are not sure of God's will and purposes in any given situation. Praying in tongues can enable our spirit to have divine wisdom and understanding. We are not just conversing with ourselves or other people, but with the Holy Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians chapter 14 verse 2 informs us that ordinary human understanding is not possible when we speak in unknown spiritual or heavenly tongues, because in reality, in the spirit, we are speaking great mysteries in which God Himself is involved.
Pray in the Spirit and in Your Mind
Application of the gift of speaking in tongues is so important. We read about this in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 verses 13 to 19. To be of the greatest blessing, it is important that we desire to interpret the meaning of the tongues, particularly in the church situation. If there is no interpretation then the understanding or our mind does not have knowledge of what we pray. To be effective we must not only pray with our tongues but also with our mind or understanding. We can sing in the spirit but we also need to interpret with our understanding. Those who have no interpretation of the tongues, do not understand what is being prayed so they cannot even know when to approve of it, by saying: amen. Paul spoke in tongues more than everyone else of his time. In the church he would rather speak five words in his native tongue, so that he could teach others God's ways, rather than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue without interpretation.
God Will Preserve Our Whole Spirit, Soul and Body
1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 tells us how important our tripartite human being really is. The God of peace will Himself, sanctify or set us apart, completely. The Lord will preserve our whole being; spirit, soul and body. He alone, will keep us blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, when our earthly task is finished. The Holy Spirit will enlighten our regenerated spirit. We must also do our part by daily reading, meditating, confessing His word and the revelation to our spirit, by the Holy Spirit, of what is required on our part. In this way we will always be able to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.
Satan Is Our Greatest Enemy
In these often treacherous, last days, we must be vigilant in our spiritual awareness of Satan and his demonic hordes and their evil schemes. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 1 and 2 gives us a timely warning, by the Spirit of God, of the evil plans of the devil. Many preachers will not teach righteousness, from God's word, but their own fleshly, off the track, understandings. Many people and even Christians, will leave the ways of faith in God's word. They will listen, not to the Holy Spirit, with their spirit, but will listen to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. These people, of whom are and will be so called Christian leaders, speak lies in hypocrisy. Their own conscience or spirit will be allowed by themselves, to become seared, as with a hot iron and no longer believe God's truth. They will even forbid some people to marry and command people not to eat certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving, by all those who know God's truth.
God's Word Divides Spirit From Soul
God's word is living and powerful. This we read about and learn from Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12. The Lord's word is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of even soul and spirit and of joints and marrow. It is well able to divide our spirit from our soul and even our soul from our body. God's word also is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of our spirit. We must listen to and be obedient to what our spirit tells our mind, will and emotions, what to do. In so doing we will be able to understand and overcome the traps and snares of Satan, the evil one.
God's Covenant With His Children
This is such a wonderful thing that God has a holy covenant with His children. We read about this in Hebrews chapter 10 verses 16 and 17. The Lord has put His laws into our hearts which is our inner person. These laws are in the heart of every born again believer.. He also writes them upon our minds as we listen to and read His word. The laws of our loving God, we are to obey with all our heart and with all our mind and with all our strength, as well as loving our neighbours or fellow humans as ourselves. This understanding must become supreme in our life. Then comes a most remarkable fact for all born again Christians to remember deep in their spirits and appropriate to their minds. All our sins and lawless deeds He will blot out and the Lord remember them no more forever. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are a Spirit Being -Part 2]]>Thu, 01 Apr 2021 04:41:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-2Picture

Paul' Spirit Convicted Him of Man's Idolatry
Acts 17 verses 16 and 17 informs us about Paul waiting for Timothy and Silas in Athens. While he was waiting, Paul's spirit provoked him concerning the idolatry of the city. Often our spirit will also show us the truth of a given situation, so that we can act in accordance with God's will and purposes. Paul reasoned with both Jews and Gentiles in the synagogue in Athens. These were worshippers, who did not know what they worshipped. Paul also daily contacted people, with the gospel, in the market places. We also need to allow our spirit to show us how to witness to people at work, in the shopping mall or even at the park or while we are walking along the footpath or pavement. They may even be willing to take and read a track, outlining the glorious gospel of repentance. Always listen to your spirit, as the Holy Spirit prompts your spirit. Never barge into the deal, without a quickening of your spirit. However, be obedient and ask the Lord how and where and when, to reach out to others.
The Holy Spirit Regenerates Our Spirit
Romans chapter 5 verse 5 tells us how we learn to love our God. When we become born again, the Holy Spirit regenerates our inner person or spirit. As a result we once more are able to become like God and become one of His children. We now can worship God in spirit and in truth. Because God is love, we also become God-like in our spirit. The love of God has now been poured out, in our hearts or spirits, by the Holy Spirit indwelling us. It is the most wonderful gift of not only being able to love God but also to love our neighbours, our friends and relatives, those in the workplace, those at church and everyone we know and meet. It is God's wonderful love that regenerates our spirit and sustains us through all of life's circumstances. We are now the love children of God
God's Spirit Raised Jesus From the Dead
Romans chapter 8 verse 11 shows us how we are empowered by the Lord. The very Spirit of God the Father, that raised Jesus from the dead ,also raised us from the dead ,in Christ. This made it possible for all of mankind to have the opportunity, if they were willing to repent, to have their sins forgiven and be given through God's grace, the gift of eternal life. This revelation understanding, from God's word informs us that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and anoints and enables us, to live like God. This is God's own life living in our mortal or death prone, human bodies. God's own spirit lives in us and gives our spirit the life of God that then flows, as well to our soul and body. We are absolutely heaven-scented vessels being made ready for the Master's use, each and every day.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us a Regenerated Spirit
How do we truly know that we are God's children? We learn about this from Romans chapter 8 verses 15 to 17.God has taken the spirit of bondage and fear, from all His blood bought children and given them the spirit of adoption. Because His children have a new spirit within them, the Holy Spirit acknowledges God the Father, entitled in Aramaic, Abba; as their true Father, for eternity. Because we now are God's children, we have also become heirs of all God's goodness and joint heirs with His Son, Jesus Christ, forever. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirt, that we are indeed, the children of God. Those who are truly born again, have no doubt in their spirt, that God is their heavenly Father.
Always Follow Your Inner Witness
All God's children have the inner witness of their spirit, that they are God's children. When their life on earth is complete, they know that their spirit, the real person, goes straight to heaven to live with their Father, for evermore. In the meantime, while on earth, every true Christian needs to listen to their spirit, who alone is in contact with God's Spirit, regarding how they are to live and what God has created them to do. Obedience to the Holy Spirit is essential for a successful Christian life.
Daily Spend Time With the Lord
You need to daily spend time with the Lord, worshipping Him and praising His Holy name, as well as praying as the Holy Spirit directs you. Most importantly you need to spend time, even two or three times a day, reading God's word, meditating upon God's word and confessing and applying God's Word to all your different life situations and circumstances. Each day you will grow in faith and in trust of God's ways and purposes. No one can grow spiritually, except by constant diligent application, of God's word, to their lives. In this way, a Christian will overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. A Christian has a regenerated spirit and must learn to walk by faith based on God's word. Your soul and body must obediently follow the lead of your spirit person. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being -Part 1]]>Mon, 29 Mar 2021 04:38:23 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-1Picture
Every Person Is Tripartite
Every human being has been created by God. Each person has a spirit, a soul and a body. The spirit is our inner person which we cannot see. It is often referred to as our conscience. That is the part of man that connects us, with God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, living in us. It is your real person, that will live forever. Our second part, that is partly observable through our eyes, is called our soul and consists of our will, our mind or intellect and our emotions or feelings. Our third part is the body or tent we live in. When we give our lives to the Lord, our spirit becomes regenerated according to the likeness of God. We are to renew our minds or our soul with the word of God, the Bible, and command our body to follow our spirit and our soul.
Our Inner Spirit Contacts God
How do we, our inner voice or our spirit, our real person, contact God? We learn this vital secret from Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27. Here we read that the spirit of man is the candle or lamp of the Lord. The Holy Spirit connects with our spirit and searches all the inner depths of our heart or spirit. When we need to seek the Lord, our mind or intellect reads the word of God but our spirit receives revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit into the inner depths of God's wisdom. Don't try to plumb the things of the spirit, with your mind. It just won't work. It is our inner person, the real you, who receives revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit, for God's will and purposes for your life.
God Informs Israel of a New Heart
In Ezekiel chapter 18 verse 31 the Lord informs Israel of a new heart or spirit. They were to turn from their rebellion against the Lord and their consequent iniquities. They had transgressed God's laws and gone their own way, just like many of God's children and their churches, are doing, today. The children of Israel were instructed by God to get themselves a new heart and a new way. They were to turn back to God and obey His commandments. The Lord did not want His people to destroy themselves and die, particularly spiritually. God has a great heart for His people. He longs for them to turn to Him so that they will not destroy themselves.
A Spirit Does Not Have Flesh and Bones
Luke chapter 24 verse 39, tells us that Jesus, when He had risen from the dead, was still in His fleshly body. He told His disciples to examine His body. A spirit does not have flesh and bones. The disciples, after examining Jesus body, knew it was the Lord. Our spirit lives in a body but is not flesh and bones. However, our real person, lives in our body of flesh called a tent or a covering.
Our Spirit Worships God
John chapter 4 verse 24 is very clear concerning how we are to worship God. In fact, there is no other way a person can worship God, except through their spirit or inner person. Why is this so? It is because God, Himself, is a Spirit. The Holy Spirit contacts our minds through our inner spirit. We worship God only through our spirit person and not our intellect. To try to worship God only through our mind, will or emotions is not true worship, but is only an emotional feeling or experience. We are spirit beings in reality and only spirit beings can truly contact God.
The Holy Spirit Is Our Comforter
John chapter 14 verses 16 and 17 talks about our relationship with the Holy Spirit or our comforter. At this point Jesus was about to leave His disciples on earth. He was now praying to His Father in heaven, to ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to empower and comfort God's people. The Holy Spirit is the One who is able to bring God's truth to people's spirits so that they can work and live in His truth. The Holy Spirit lives in every born again believer and gives wisdom to their regenerated spirit. He is in each one and abides in them and is able to comfort and direct each of His children. We know the Holy Spirit lives in us, as well as Jesus, but the world cannot receive directions from the Holy Spirit because they neither see Him nor know about Him.
The Holy Spirit Is Our Helper
Furthermore, we learn more about the Holy Spirit, in John chapter 14 verse 26. The Holy Spirit is our daily helper. Often we don't know what to do or where to go for help. All Christians have the wonderful comfort and help of the Holy Spirit, at their disposal. This is where they should always go, yes always go for help. Go to God's throne and ask the Holy Spirit for His perfect understanding. Listen very carefully, for He will always show you what to do. He is also our teacher. He shows God's children the things they need to learn and to do. He also gives us revelation knowledge of the meaning of God's word and how we are to apply God's wisdom in our daily life situations. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.!

<![CDATA[Your Wonderful Authority In Christ -Part 2]]>Fri, 26 Mar 2021 04:44:54 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-wonderful-authority-in-christ-part-2Picture

God's Power Enables People to Be Born Again
We must never be ashamed of God and His Word. This is important information we read in Romans chapter 1 verses 16 and 17. Why should we never be ashamed? Firstly, we are God's children. Secondly, the gospel contains the power of God which enables everyone who receives it and believes it, to be born again. The message of God's gracious gift of redemption, was first given to the Jews and shortly afterwards, to the Gentiles. It is through the gospel of redemption that God's love and forgiveness is revealed to mankind. It is revealed through revelation after revelation, of God's great faithfulness. This enables us to learn and grow in faith by partaking of God's word and confessing it, on a daily basis.
The Church Is to Demonstrate God's Authority.
1 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 18 to 20 informs us of how the church is to demonstrate Christ's authority and power. Unfortunately, some of the people in the church, at Corinth, were puffed up with pride at what they knew. Their actions did not correspond to their words. This happens in many churches, today. Paul was coming to Corinth to check out the proud ones and to see where they were regarding the power of God, at work, in their lives. It is so important to realise that the church should be a powerful place of healing and worship. After all many churches are filled with born again people, who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. Why are churches often so powerless, when God, Himself, is the very source of His people? He is in them to teach and provide for them and enable them to reach out to other people, in His love. Some may speak in tongues and even have words of wisdom and knowledge. However, many live haughty and even disobedient lifestyles and are ignoring the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Many pastors are often lazy or neglectful, in carrying out their spiritual duties. God's kingdom is not just in pretentious words or flowery sermons or well decorated churches, but rather, it is and must continue to be, a place of God's power, able to save the wicked to the uttermost.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us Revelation Knowledge
As we spend time with the Lord and His word the Bible, the Holy Spirit will give us greater wisdom and revelation knowledge. This is revealed to us in Ephesians chapter 1 verses 17 to 20. We will be enabled to understand wonderful things that no one, by just using their natural intellect, can know. This is revelation knowledge from God the Father, in Jesus name. We now are able to understand, not only for our own life, but also for family members and relatives that we reach out to, by faith, both in the church and in the community. We now know the hope of our eternal calling in Christ. We are now becoming fully aware of the incredible riches of His glory and our wonderful inheritance, along with all those who are His saints. Now we are learning about the mighty greatness of His power, which is available to us, to carry out God's work. We are well able to be victorious in all our earthly circumstances and are empowered to bind up Satan's plans and command him to flee. He must obey our authority in Christ. After all Satan and his demonic forces are now banished to the air and planet Earth. We have been given our authority by God and are seated in heavenly places, with the Lord, at the right hand of God the Father, with Jesus.
Remember Your Authority In Christ
Remember, your earthly battle is not with flesh and blood but with Satan and his demonic hordes. Keep using your authority, based on the word of God. This foundation is found in Ephesians chapter 6 and obedience to the Holy Spirit. In this way we will defeat him every time. It is a daily battle won by diligently reading, meditating, and applying God's word to all your situations in life. In this way you constantly demonstrate to the enemy and to other people, the authority and power that God has given you and every born again Christian, over the flesh, the world and the devil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
