You Are Forgiven
God is willing to not only forgive us our sins but also to forget they have even existed. We must follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and do the same. When we repent of our sins God forgives us and sees us as righteous, through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross. We are not only forgiven but our sins and trespasses are forgotten. All who repent have their name recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. We have become one of God's children, inheriting His eternal life. God forgives us so we must also be willing to forgive the careless and even premeditated sins against us, by other people.
Satan Tries to Dominate God's People
We learn from Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 to 11 that Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. The first temptation was to turn stones into bread, because Jesus was hungry, having fasted for forty days and forty nights. Jesus rebuked Satan by reminding him, that it was God's word by which man was to live rather than by food, alone. Jesus then allowed Himself to be taken into a high mountain where the Lord was shown all the power and pomp of the world's kingdoms in a moment of time. They could be the Lord's if Jesus would bow down and worship Satan. Satan then tried to tempt Jesus by desiring Him to throw Himself down from the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem. The Lord reminded Satan that he was not to tempt the Lord His God. Satan then left Jesus alone for a season. Jesus repeatedly rebuked Satan for his temptations. We are to follow the Lord's example and do the same. Satan will put thoughts into your mind and try and convince you, by even manipulating your emotions, to do what is wrong. He will also remind you of past failures and mistakes. You also have the power to rebuke Satan as he endeavours to convince you, to think evil thoughts, say critical words and even perform violent and foolish acts.
You Must Rebuke Satan
It s important for you to be humble and allow God to be in charge of your life. This is an important lesson that we must learn from 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 5 to 9. Satan is very persistent and will attack your soul, even many times in one day and then may leave for a season of time. He always wants to attack you on your past or when you are feeling depressed. When your health maybe not so good or you are tired or pressed for time, are times to be aware of his attacks. Humble yourself and always be ready to resist him, with the whole armour of God. Use God's word to destroy his wicked barbs. Remind him that your sins are forgiven and that you are a child of God.
God Forgives and Forgets
From passages of God's word in both the Old and New Testaments we learn that God forgives and forgets our sins. In Isaiah chapter 43 verse 25 God tells us that He is the 'I AM who blots out mankind's transgressions, for His own sake and will not remember our sins.' From the New Testament in Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12, we are told: ' For I will be merciful towards their iniquities and I will remember their sins, no more.' If almighty God, our Father, is willing to forgive and forget our trespasses and sins, how much we must learn to practice forgiving other people their sins and our own self as well. Forget your forgiven past. Satan wants to consistently deprive us of our freedom, in Christ, so that we live weak and depressed lives. When he does this, then you tell him he has only a picture or reminder of them. After all you are now a child of God and all your past sins have been cleansed away, by Christ's shed blood. They are no longer held against you by God. Every Christian is absolutely free before the Father, forever.
Satan Has No Authority Over You
James chapter 4 verse 7 is very clear about what we need to do when Satan harasses our minds, our emotions and even our spirits. This constant barrage is about our mistakes and our failures and even our premeditated sins, from our past life. First of all we must repent and submit our whole life to the lord and serve Him as our Lord and Saviour. Then we must stand our ground, based on God's word and command him to flee. If he tries to keep standing against us then keep on opposing him in a greater measure. One of your greatest weapons is Christ's shed blood. He must and he will flee because all the power of God is behind the authority God has given us. He will flee, in terror, because he recognises that you know God's authority and power, which has been delegated to you.
Your God Given Authority
God has given, to His children, His power to rule and to reign. Adam conceded to Satan, his God given authority, to rule the earth and God's children through Jesus Christ, have been given the right, to regain that dominion, over the works of God's hands. This we learn from Psalm 8 verse 5 in the Old Testament and from Romans chapter 5 verse 17 in the New Testament. Each individual Christian, through the Lord's saving grace, is given the right to reign as kings. We are no longer under Satan's dominion, like all who are unsaved, but we have been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son. Rebuke Satan in every situation and particularly in the battle of the mind. God has given you His authority; now use it in His anointing!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Our Authority in Him - 27th September 2022]]>Tue, 27 Sep 2022 04:39:36 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/our-authority-in-him-27th-september-2022Picture
                                   All Authority Comes from God
It is important for everyone, to realise that God is the Creator of all things. He is therefore the final authority over the lives of all that live in heaven, earth and under the earth , There is no true authority of power apart from the Father, Jesus Christ, Gods Son and the Holy Spirit. The Triune God- three in One- is the final arbiter of all creation. When our spirits and our souls know that this is the real truth of our existence, then we are able, through our will to make a righteous decision or otherwise, to obey God or not to do so.
Jesus Gave His Authority to Believers
When Jesus arose from the dead He gave His children resurrection power, to carry out His plans and purposes, on planet Earth. We read about this vital information in Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 and 19. Therefore Jesus delegated His power and authority to the church. He knew how much they needed to do His work, in His authority, in order to overcome the god of this world, Satan. This diabolical fallen angel has blinded the eyes of most people including many of God's elected children, for periods of time, over many centuries. Thank God, there are those of His children, in the church, that know and practise that Satan's power is broken over their own lives and circumstances.
Man Given Dominion by God
We read in Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28 that God made mankind in His own image or likeness and gave Adam- the first man – dominion or authority, over all of God's creation. Man was made in God's spiritual likeness so that both male and female, could live forever. They were told to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth with people. The dominion given them was to rule over all of creation. However, Satan entered the scene and told Adam and Eve that they would have knowledge like God if they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, in the Garden of Eden. They were beguiled by Satan and saw that the tree grew lovely fruit that could be eaten. Eve was deceived by the Serpent, Satan, and Adam disobeyed God. Both went and ate from the fruit and from its knowledge. They were then enlightened, to the fact, that they were naked. When they disobeyed God they lost their dominion or authority so that Satan became the ruler of the world. They were now also afraid of God and hid themselves from Him. Only those who give their lives to the Lord are able to escape Satan's dominion and are enabled to be spiritually born again. They then regain God's promise of dominion and authority through salvation in Him.
Authority of the Church
Jesus is the head and His children are the body. The true believers are the true body or the real church. We read about the authority of God's children in Acts chapter 1 verse 8. This wonderful power was given to the church, on the Day of Pentecost. This authority came upon the believers who were seated in the upper room. The Holy Spirit empowered the people gathered from many nations near Israel. This anointing enabled them to become witnesses for the transforming power of the Lord's resurrection, throughout Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. Such anointing has transformed the lives of people for nearly two thousand years and is continuing so this very day and forwards until the Lord's return.
The Purpose of God's Authority
We learn from reading Romans chapter 1 verse 16, the purpose of God's empowerment for His children. Paul was not ashamed of the gospel which brought salvation to those who believed, who were dying and were lost. God's power enabled people to be rescued from God's wrath and punishment and to be saved and to inherit eternal life. When they repented they were also cleansed of their guilt and shame. This open door was available to all who genuinely repented of their sins and were willing to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Salvation was now no longer available only to the Jew but also to all the Gentiles.
We Have Authority Over Satan
Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 informs each Christian of their titanic battle over Satan and all His cohorts and evil compliant people on earth. No one has their real earthly struggle against other people. The true battle is against rulers, and world powers as well as satanic forces in this present, evil, darkness. It is mainly against Satan and demons living upon earth and in the heavenlies. To battle such we put on the whole armour of God in order to overcome and stand against their evil powers. Our armour consists firstly, of the band of truth- our personal integrity- worn around our waist. Secondly is the breastplate of righteousness; this is an upright spirit. On our feet we wear the gospel of peace. Across our body is the protective shield of faith that is able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one. Upon our head, covering our mind, will and emotions, is the helmet of salvation. In our hands we use our offensive weapon, with which we attack; namely, the sword of the Spirit; which is the word of God. Above all we use all kinds of prayer.
You Must Use God's Authority
God's authority for each of us is revealed in 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8 and 9. To enjoy the Christian walk we need to be well balanced and disciplined, alert and cautious. Our enemy, Satan, prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking to destroy people's lives. However, we are to resist him with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the faith which comes by hearing God's word, over and over again. We do not suffer or overcome alone. But are rather like all our brothers and sisters, throughout the world. We must all stand steadfast in overcoming faith. In so doing we stand our ground against Satan's onslaughts. We are and will be completely victorious in the authority delegated to us, individually and to the church corporately. The church is the true body of believers! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Find the Key -20th September 2022]]>Tue, 20 Sep 2022 04:44:05 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/find-the-key-20th-september-2022Picture
You Must Have the Right Key
Throughout their life people are constantly trying to enter new doorways or paths. It may be to overcome a bad habit or it could be trying to enter a higher level of learning or desiring to learn more about a new interest or skill. Perhaps it is in pursuing a better career or getting married or overcoming an illness or a lack of financial wealth. In every instance, there is a key that will unlock the lock to open a new door or pathway in life. It is vitally important to find the right key. God's keys are by far the most important to know about or have in your possession.
The Key of Eternal Life
We learn from Matthew chapter 16 verse 19 that Jesus told His children that they had been given the keys, to the Kingdom of Heaven. Remember, there is a right key, to open every door. The majority of people put their trust in finding an elixir of life; an eternal fountain of life. The key to open the door to eternal life is found in Matthew chapter 3 verse 2 and Acts chapter 2 verse 38. Repent of your sins and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. John chapter 3 verse 16 states that whoever believes in Jesus should not perish but have eternal life.
The Keys to Living
The keys to living a peaceful, godly life are found in Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 and 23. Here we learn about the fruits of the Holy Spirit. First of all there is love. This is followed by joy, peace, long suffering or patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. These fruits are to be developed throughout one's life, so that we are enabled to live in and through the Spirit of God and the Word of God, empowering our spirit or inner person.
The Greatest Key
The most important fact to know and appreciate is that our Father God, who is the Creator of the universe, is the God of love. We learn about this greatest of all keys from 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13. To put this wonderful fruit into practice we must also be willing to emphasise the measure of God's love that we learn about from Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 to 39. It is also absolutely important to know that in order to really love, we must love the Lord, our God, with all our heart or our spirit, all our soul and all our mind. Then we will also be able to love other people, as much as we love ourselves. We are warned about lack of love in 1 John chapter 3 verse 15. If we don't love other people, particularly our fellow Christians, we are murderers and there is no eternal life in us. It is so imperative that we love God and all who are created in His likeness.
Find the Key to Lasting Health
For many people living healthily and walking daily in health, is a major issue. Whether you are in hospital or sick at home, or whether it is long term or has just happened, it is important to know God's key to having divine health. We learn from Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 that with the cutting blows or stripes that were laid on the back of Jesus, while He was on the Cross at Calvary, we were healed. Further more in Matthew chapter 4 verse 24 we read that Jesus healed people of many different diseases and ailments. By calling on His name and also meditating and confessing healing verses from God's word, every day, you will be healed.
Key to Finances
Through God's grace and provision, the key that unlocks the door to sufficient finances is for you to be a giver and believe God will enable you to escape poverty. We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 8, that through God's grace abounding towards you, He will enable you and your family, to have sufficient for all your needs. You must trust in Him, confess His word as well as work and give to others as much as you are able to. Then your poverty will be turned into His blessings. Matthew chapter 6 verses 31 to 34 tells us that God will provide us with all our daily needs, which includes paying your bills. Keep being obedient; keep doing your part and keep trusting Him. In so doing, the key to His provision for you, will open the doors to successful living. Always put God's kingdom first and everything else will be added to you.
Always Forgive
Next to love, forgiveness is the greatest key, for unlocking God's grace and mercy. We find out when reading Matthew chapter 6 verses 14 and 15, just how important forgiveness is. If we forgive other people their unkind words and actions, even those of malicious intent, then our Father in heaven, will forgive us our sins. However, if we don't forgive others, then neither will God forgive us our sins. That means hell becomes our destiny rather than heaven. Our pattern for forgiveness is found in Colossians chapter 3 verse 13. We are to forgive others, just as Christ has forgiven us, all our sins.
Key to Spiritual Enlightenment
Spiritual discernment is vital to knowing the reality of the world that we live in, as well as understanding what the Lord requires of us. Discernment enables God's children to walk tn His light and not be overwhelmed by the deceit and lies that abound in the kingdom of darkness, which is under the control of Satan and his fallen angels. We read about discernment in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 14 to 16.
Find God's Keys for Your Life
As you read, meditate upon, confess, apply and study God's word, consistently and listen to and obey the instructions of the Holy Spirit, you will find many wonderful keys in scripture, for your life. No problem or situation or circumstance in your life will be too hard to solve. God's children must diligently follow what God has outlined in His word. You will overcome the flesh, the world and the devil and reign victoriously through God's grace. His keys open the door to eternal life. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[In His Righteousness -13th September 2022]]>Tue, 13 Sep 2022 03:22:24 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/in-his-righteousness-13th-september-2022Picture
What Is Righteousness?
Our righteousness means our right standing before the throne of God the Father. We can only have right standing before the Father through the righteousness that Jesus purchased for His children by His shed blood. When we repented of our sins and acknowledged Jesus Christ, God's Son, as our personal Saviour and Lord, of our life, then we became a child of God. This means we are now, one of God's children and have inherited eternal life. We have been made righteous in Him. No longer are we sinners destined for hell but we are redeemed to live with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for evermore.
Rescued from Eternal Death
Through God's great grace and His redemptive plan for His creation, we have been rescued from everlasting damnation and can now enjoy eternal salvation. We have escaped the fires of hell and we can live forever with the Lord, in the marvellous light of His heavenly kingdom. We learn about this from Proverbs chapter 10 verse 2. As we live our daily walk, in the Christian faith, step by step, day by day, listening to the Holy Spirit and reading God's word, we have not only been justified but also we are becoming sanctified or made holy through Him.
The Effect of Righteousness
The righteousness of God is extremely effective in the lives of millions of Christians, now and down through the centuries. We read about this in Isaiah chapter 32 verse 17. First of all it brings peace between marriage partners; between family members and relatives; between friends and acquaintances and even between communities and countries. Secondly, it has brought the result of bringing quietness into our differing opinions and helps to bring confidence in people and things, that are righteous. Peaceful relationships promote peaceful situations.
The Lord Is Our Righteousness
All Christians are fully protected by the armour of the Lord. This we learn from Isaiah chapter 59 verse 17. This armour of righteousness enables our salvation to be eternally secured. Salvation is like a helmet that protects our head and therefore our spirit, our will, our mind and our emotions. The Lord has a garment of vengeance arrayed against the evil of Satan, the world and our flesh. His endless zeal is like a cloak that He wears because of His great love, for His children.
Follow Daniel's Advice
Important information is given to us in Daniel chapter 4 verse 27. Daniel was an upright person and was therefore able to give righteous advice, to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Later on the king having been brought low and made to realise that it is God, who rules the lives of mankind. Daniel had advised the king to break off his sinful past and show forth repentance in doing what was right and be merciful to those who were poor. As Christians, we must do the same and in so doing, promote righteousness in all we do, particularly as the Holy Spirit convicts our spirit. We then can think, say and do what is right, and know it is because of His righteousness.
Abraham's Recorded Righteousness
According to Romans chapter 4 verse 22, Abraham's faith in God and what He did and would do, is credited to Abraham as his righteousness. Abraham was given right standing with God as also with all those, who are saved for eternal life. All God's children we were credited with Christ's own righteousness when Jesus rose triumphantly from the grave. All those who are saved from their iniquities and sins, have them blotted out by the precious blood, shed by Christ, on the Cross of Calvary.
Our Justification and Sanctification
We learn from 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30 that God's children are given wisdom from God, through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Bible. He has revealed His plan of salvation and righteousness which makes us justified and accepted by God. Over our life, He sanctifies us and makes us holy and sets our lives apart unto God. We know that Christ's shed blood has ransomed us and has paid the penalty, for our sins.
Christ Is Our Sin Bearer
Such important understanding is given to us, in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21. Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, in taking away the penalty of our sins, became sin for us, on our behalf. This was so that we could become the righteousness of God in and through Him. We then were enabled to become acceptable to God the Father and to be placed in a righteous relationship with Him.
Put on Your Breastplate of Righteousness
In Ephesians chapter 6 verse 14 we are instructed to wear our breastplate of righteousness. This spiritual breastplate protects us from all the doubts and delusions that Satan sends against our spirit and our mind. Those who wear the breastplate of righteousness, consistently, are able to maintain an upright spirit and mind. Everyone is able to do this, by reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, to every circumstance that comes upon them. You must also listen and obey the Holy Spirit, diligently, as well as praying earnestly in your spirit and in your native language, as the Holy Spirit directs you.
Our Fruit Is Righteousness in Him
We learn from James chapter 3 verse 18 that the seed of who God is and who He is in our lives, will produce the fruit of righteousness. This comes from spiritual maturity that enables us to desire peace and goodwill in our life, as well as in our family and in other people. We deliberately make an effort to be peaceful towards every situation we encounter. God's righteousness, indwelling us, enables us to create, this marvellous response. Keep on walking in His righteous ways. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

God must be worshipped in spirit and in truth as God's word informs us in John chapter 4 verse 24.To worship the Lord it is essential that the anointing is used in both voice and through instruments, to glorify the Lord. Only God's empowerment will make it possible to see the glory of God, demonstrated in the lives of His children. It is not sufficient to have the greatest abilities or talents in order to worship and praise the Lord. The glory of the Lord will only be revealed when His people are obedient to His will and purposes. We must be willing to worship Him, in reverence and awe, for who He really is, from our hearts and not just their minds!
We Need the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Continually.
So many times Christian endeavour is like dry bones, without the vital life of the Holy Spirit involved. It is at these times we must desire to be filled again, with His anointing. This is a desire that must be continually fulfilled, in our life, on earth. It is essential that all Christians keep on drinking from the fountain of life - the outpouring of the Holy Spirit empowering and giving us revelation knowledge, from God's word. Every Christian will benefit immensely in whatever work or position the Lord has appointed them. We read from Luke chapter 4 verses 17 to 19 that the Holy Spirit was upon Jesus to do His Father's work. How much all Christians are required to have the same anointing! We need to tell others of the gospel of salvation; to heal those who are brokenhearted; to set people free from Satan's kingdom of darkness; to teach others to walk in the light of God's word and to tell them that today, is the acceptable time of God's love and mercy.
The Anointed Lord is Our Example
We read about the anointing, by the Holy Spirit, upon Jesus, to do His Father's work in Acts chapter 10 verse 38.This meant that the Lord had great power, to accomplish the task because He was empowered by God, Himself. Jesus went around daily doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. We all need God's anointing, upon our lives, to do the works God has given us and particularly to be able to crush the devil's power, in our lives, our family, our church and in the community, as well as in the nation in which we live. Our puny strength by itself, will never get the job done!
We Must Be Anointed by God
In 1 John chapter 2 verse 20 we learn about our anointing. It must come from God and not from the natural display of mankind. This empowering has been sent, to set us apart, from other people, even other Christians. We are especially gifted with God's abilities for the work. During our life, we are prepared by Him, to specifically handle the task before us; it is not by mere accident or personal choice. Our very beings are flooded with His truth and our spirits and minds, are illuminated to know what God requires of us. The Lord will teach us and guard us, from spiritual errors.
His Anointing Remains in Us
1 John chapter 2 verse 27 informs us, that His anointing remains in us. It is important to realise when your spiritual tank is measuring low, you need to get a refilling from the Lord. To do this keep praying earnestly to the Father, in Jesus' name. As well keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, consistently. Always listen to and be obedient to the instructions of the Holy Spirit and heed the preaching from and inspired sermon from the pulpit, CD or DVD. Of course it can be all of the above. The anointing from the Holy Spirit teaches your inner person or spirit, everything you need to know. The Holy Spirit reveals to you God's truth and keeps you from being deceived. We need to learn from the Holy Spirit who is our teacher. Through His anointing in us, we become rooted and grounded in the eternal things of God as well as being knit together with the Lord.
Keep the Anointing Flowing
From the time that you became a child of God and inherited God's blessings upon your life, you were enabled to become an anointed person. Over time we can tend to lose some of our anointing. This can happen as a result of trials and temptations, tiredness and sickness and also listening to false or indifferent teaching. We begin to lose the fire that once was alive in our belly. We must constantly be obedient and think upon the things in God's word and be refreshed by the Holy Spirit. In this way we can become alive again and empowered by God, Himself. You must have a constant awareness of being filled, over and over again.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[You Need Fresh Anointing -Part 1- 6th September]]>Tue, 06 Sep 2022 03:14:31 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-need-fresh-anointing-part-1-6th-septemberPicture
What Is the Anointing?
All who carry out God's will and purposes in their lives, must be appointed with anointing power by the Spirit of God. With the anointing, God's children are enabled to break off the entanglements and deceits of sin and set themselves and others free, from the shackles and bondage of Satan and his demonic hordes. True spiritual freedom can only come to those, who are set free, by the anointing that comes through the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Bible. Seek the anointing daily and be refreshed in your inner person or spirit. Then your mind, will and emotions can also be free as well as a refreshing for your body.
The Anointing Breaks the Yoke
When things are tough and times are hard, the Lord intervenes in the lives of those, who call upon Him. Israel was, in the time of old, being threatened by the Assyrians. The Lord told them not to be afraid for the Lord would deliver them, from their yoke of bondage. In Isaiah chapter 10 verse 27 we learn how God would deliver them, from slavery to freedom. The burdens that they lived under would be removed and the yoke of control, would also be taken away. How would this happen? The anointing or power of the Lord would prevail against the Assyrian host. The oil of the Holy Spirit would cause the anointing to flow. This same anointing is available to all who willingly give their lives to the Lord and obey His commandments. The yoke of lack, poor health, insufficient finances and bad relationships will be broken off, when you obey God and His word. You will be released to enjoy and live in spiritual, physical and material freedom!
David Was Anointed As King
We learn about the anointing of David, as king of Israel, in 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse 13. In Israel of the Old Testament, only the high priest, the prophet and the king were anointed. Today, all born again children of God, are anointed, to carry out God's will and purposes. Samuel, the prophet, anointed David king over Israel, in place of Saul, who had disobeyed God's commandments. David was anointed, with a horn of oil, in the presence of his brothers. The Spirit of the Lord mightily came upon him, from that time onwards. You and I, as children of the most high God, are anointed to do what God has commanded us to do.
God Gives His Anointed One Victory!
David was a warrior king who fought many battles, in the name of the Lord and for the preservation of Israel. In Psalm 45 verse 7 we read that David came to a powerful realisation of how much God, preserved His anointed leaders. He provides for and answers their requests, from His throne in heaven. He answers with the saving power of His right hand. He answers and provides for us, every day of our life, if we are willing to ask and then listen to His response. It is a wonderful thing for each of us, to know and appreciate that His anointed power, provides for us, in every situation we encounter in life.
God's Anointing Upon His Children
The Lord has poured out His anointing, on all His children, providing an empowerment to carry out His will and purposes, on the earth. This wonderful anointing, was prophesied by the prophet Joel, in Joel chapter 2 verses 28 and 29. When the Holy Spirit is poured out upon God's children, they will prophesy, telling of future events, as well as warning others, and speaking blessings upon the Church. The old men will dream about the Lord's will and purposes, while the young men will see visions of His glory. God's Holy Spirit will anoint and therefore empower, all who are willing to receive. The dry bones of churchianity will believe and then live as powerful gems unto the Lord.
Follow the Pattern of the Early Church
We read about circumstances, from the early church, that should shake us out of our complacency, today. This information is given to us in Mark chapter 6 verses 12 and 13. The twelve apostles went out under the same anointing, as Jesus had. They preached to the people, to repent from their sins and turn away from and live changed lives. They also cast out demons that were causing their problems. Then they anointed those who were sick, with oil, and many were healed. Repentance of sins, casting out demonic powers and healing the sick, were all vital parts of their ministry and so must it be also, of our ministry, today. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Jesus Overcame Satan in the Wilderness
Satan endeavours to tempt and keep people in the wilderness. We read about this epic temptation of Jesus from Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 to 11. The Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. He was tempted by Satan for forty days and Jesus ate nothing and was hungry. Satan tempted Jesus to prove He was the Son of God and asked Him to turn the stones on the ground, into bread. Jesus answered Satan and told him that man doesn't just live by bread, alone. The second time Satan took Jesus to a high mountain and in a moment of time, showed Him the great splendours of the world and their kingdoms. These kingdoms had been given to Satan, by Adam, when Adam committed high treason by handing over his God given dominion and authority, to Satan. At this point, Satan wanted Jesus to bow down and worship him. These were real temptations for the Lord but Jesus counted Satan and answered that He was only to worship the one true God. In the third temptation Satan took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem. He then commanded Jesus to throw Himself down. Satan then quoted scripture, 'that God's angels would guard and protect Him and lift Him up so that Jesus would not even strike His foot against a stone'. Jesus replied from Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 16 that no one should tempt the Lord their God. Satan then left Jesus alone for a later opportunity to tempt the Lord. All born again Christians have been delegated power, by the Lord, to bind up Satan and cast him out of their lives. When we do so he recognises God's power in us and he must flee, as in terror. Every Christian must bind up Satan, in the name of Jesus, to effectively escape from his guile and lies in the wilderness.
Don't Harden Your Heart
We learn about the plight of Israel in the wilderness, in Hebrews chapter 3 and 4. From verses 7 and 8 of chapter 3 we are told to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. All who hear, are not to harden their hearts, as the children of Israel did, in the wilderness. God became angry with that generation because they tried to do things their own way, instead of God's way. Because of disobedience, God swore an oath that they would not enter God's rest. We also need to listen as the old hymn enjoins us, to 'Trust ans Obey', while it is still called today. This day is our time of opportunity to obey. Those people and those in the world today, who are full of unbelief and disobedience, will not be able to enter God's eternal rest. Nor will we have His secure rest while living here on earth. From chapter 4 we read that God's grace and mercy is still available to all who call upon the name of the Lord, this very day. God's message of salvation must be united with faith in God's word, the Bible, if we are ever to obtain our promised, eternal rest in Him. His rest in us gives our spirit and our mind, inner rest. God entered His rest when He completed His works, from the foundation of the world. All Christians are able to do the same with their works, by being willing to obey His voice. We all must make every effort to enter His rest. Keep on reading, meditating upon, confessing, applying the word and above all obeying the instructions of the Holy Spirit, who confirms the word of God. In doing so we can boldly approach the throne of God's grace to receive His mercy and compassion through His confidence.
Get Out of the Wilderness, Now?
Every person that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is well able to leave the wilderness behind, this very day. Learn to listen and obey. Forsake doing your own thing and obey His will and purposes, for He alone knows what is best, for all His creation. Don't harden your heart but be willing to trust and obey and walk by faith, which comes from hearing and hearing, over and over again, His word. If you listen then trust and obey, you will, without doubt, get our of the wilderness of the flesh, the world and the devil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

What Is a Wilderness ?
A physical wilderness is a deserted place where wild animals may live, where there is stunted vegetation, where crops of commercial value do not grow or are planted. The soil can be very poor and water supplies can be scarce. It is a place where it is difficult for people to live and is consequently almost uninhabited by humans.
A Spiritual Wilderness
Many people live, even in large cities, that for all intents and purposes, can be a spiritual wilderness, devoid of hope and full of deception and elusive ideas and values. It is a place of great spiritual darkness where Satan and his demonic hordes have people bound up by spiritual bondages. They live enslaving lifestyles that can chain people's lives through drugs and strong drink and immoral relationships. They are places where the name of Jesus and faith in His name is hardly known, where in some places the word of God, the Bible, is spoken about but rarely gives freedom to the hopeless spirits and souls of mankind. These people have often lived through lifestyle failures, relationship breakdowns or poorly made decisions in earlier life situations. They may have also had a careless attitude or been disobedient to God. Whatever the reason, people remain chained to a useless and depressing life.
Israel's Disobedience
We read about how God delivered Israel from the clutches of Pharoah, King of Egypt. God told Moses the people's freedom was only a few short weeks away, if they took God's obedient route to the land of Canaan. Moses sent out twelve spies, one from each tribe, from the Wilderness of Paran. We learn about this in Numbers chapter 13. The twelve spies went into the land of Canaan and found that it was so fruitful, that they had to carry out a cluster of grapes carried on a pole, slung between two of the men. Ten of the spies reported back to Moses and said that it was indeed a beautiful land, with plenty of crops, but the inhabitants were too strong for the Hebrews to overcome them. They had forgotten so quickly, that it was the God who had created the universe and brought them out of slavery in Egypt, that could help them and would help them, conquer the land. However, two of the spies, namely Joshua and Caleb, remained loyal to God. They both said that they were well able to take the land. Both knew who there God was and what He would do for them. Only Joshua and Caleb were rewarded for their faithfulness and were allowed to enter the promised land, forty years later. Sadly, Moses and Aaron and the other leaders missed God. They disobeyed and they wandered aimlessly for forty years, in the Wilderness of Sinai. All of those, over twenty years of age, never entered the promised land of Canaan.
Hear God's Voice of Freedom
We read and can learn from Isaiah chapter 40 verse 3 that God has prepared a way for everyone to escape from the sin, deceit and depression of Satan, which is part of the wilderness of life on earth. Hearing and obeying God's voice is essential, if you truly desire to escape the wilderness of the flesh, the world and the devil. It is equally important to spend quality time with the Lord reading, meditating upon confessing and applying God's word, the Bible, to all your everyday circumstances. We are told to prepare for God's way in our life. We are to become a righteous person, living and walking according to God's gift of grace. Never are we to allow ourselves to be overcome by sad tidings of grief or adverse situations that arise but rather to bind up and cast out Satan's efforts to deceive us. Keep on thanking God for His goodness and provision and keep praising His holy name and give honour and glory to the Father.
Your Life Will Become Like Streams in the Desert
Isaiah chapter 35 verses 6 and 7 tells us that those who are physically or spiritually lame will leap like a deer. Those that could not speak, because they are spiritually bound up, will shout for joy. Waters that give life to the spirit soul and body, will break forth in the wilderness, enabling people and places to become streams of living water. Their drought is over! The mirage of the world's dry places and worldly understanding, will become pools of refreshing water to the spirit, soul and body. Where thirst was found there will be thirst quenching springs of water. The land and its people, that once were thirsty, will become an everlasting stream of living water. No longer are they bound up, in the desert of meaningless life,ut are free forever, living with the eternal source of living water. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

The Righteous Labourers
In Matthew chapter 13 verse 43 we read about the true and righteous workers of the Kingdom of God. These people obey the will of God and shine forth, radiating the new life of redemption. They will shine like the sun in God's Kingdom. Those who are ready and willing to do the will of God are His children who hear and obey God's will and purposes for their lives. Let us all be obedient servants, able to work and shine for the souls of those who are lost.
The Harvest Is White
The harvest is white means that it is ready to be reaped. The harvest of souls is never ending until the Lord calls time. We read about the readiness of the harvest from John chapter 4 verses 35 to 38. Often Christians have a poor habit of putting off the need for evangelism. Jesus says to His disciples, 'You say there are four months to the harvest'. We must look carefully and see that the fields of human souls, is already white for harvest. It may be where you live locally or in another part of your country or even in many overseas countries. Millions are waiting for the light of the gospel to lead them out of the darkness of Satan's kingdom. There are already those who are labouring in the fields of lost souls and are receiving and will receive their just rewards, for the work God has given them to do. Those people that have gone on before have already planted the seed of the gospel and are rejoicing with those who are reaping the harvest. One person sows, another waters, just like Paul, a sower and Apollos, a reaper. In every soul saved God has given the spiritual increase.
Whoever Believes Will Not be Ashamed
Believing on the name of Jesus and having a preacher to tell you the good news of salvation, are vital ingredients of being saved from eternal damnation. This we read from Romans chapter 8 verses 10 to 15. With our heart or spirit, those who are being saved, believe in Christ as Saviour, for their justification. They then become freed from the guilt of their sin. They confess with their mouth resulting in confirmation of their faith, in the Lord. Those that do so will not be disappointed in Him. Everyone, their ethnic, cultural or previous religious or non religious background, can believe in Jesus and inherit His rich blessings upon them. All who genuinely believe on the name of Jesus and repent of their sins, will be saved. However, those who preach the gospel, need to be commissioned by the Holy Spirit and sent out for the purpose of preaching salvation to the lost. How wonderful is the message that God's believing servants bring! We must pray for those who are commissioned and sent out, so all those in darkness, who are selected by the Father, will be saved in the Father's time.
Wait Patiently for God's Crop
We read in James chapter 5 verse 7 that God's children are to wait patiently, for the crop of redeemed spirits of the earth. It has been two millennia or more, if we consider the Old Testament saints as well, but the time of Christ's return is rapidly approaching. From the earthly standpoint the farmer waits expectantly for his abundant crop to be harvested. In the same manner, our Father in heaven, is waiting patiently for His crop of redeemed people, from every tribe and nation on earth, for their eternal redemption. The Holy Spirit, particularly over the past one to two centuries, has empowered God's children to be born again and grow spiritually. This has occurred through the early and latter rains or the outpouring of God's Spirit and grace upon many people in many countries. The final harvest is coming up to be reaped. Make sure that you are included in the patient waiting of God, for His redeemed children.
Keep Praying and Interceding
According to 2 Thessalonians chapter 3 verse 1 we are to pray and intercede continually, that the word of God, the Bible, both spoken and read, will have free reign in the hearts of mankind. That is, through the unction of the Holy Spirit, who will enable people everywhere, to be willing to receive and obey, just as we have also done, to the honour and glory of Jesus' name. All who do not accept Jesus Saviour as their Lord and Saviour will not be saved.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

Now Is the Day of Salvation
We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 2, that with the Lord, there is an acceptable time or day of salvation. This occurs when a person's spirit is touched by the Lord to surrender their life to the Lord. It maybe a word from a televangelist, or a stirring sermon from the pulpit, or an imploring talk with a family member or trusted friend. You knew at this time that the Lord was reaching out to you, to be saved. There was a conviction of your spirit, to repent of your sins and be saved. You were so convicted that you willingly gave your life to the Lord. Eternal life was knocking on your heart's door. It was the now day for you to be saved. Unfortunately, some people often think about it for a while but then decide that there is plenty of time left to make a Christian decision. After all, my friends, would think that I am crazy or some other foolish reason you give your mind. They declined the Lord's gentle invitation to a later or worse a never returning time.
It Can be Too Late
Jeremiah, the Hebrew prophet of the Old Testament, was a broken hearted man. We learn about this when we read Jeremiah chapter 8 verses 20 to 22. The harvest of crops was past. Summer had ended and the people had not listened to Jeremiah's prophecy from God. Their spiritual harvest time had passed them by. They had not received his message and they were not saved. Fear had taken hold of them like that which takes hold of hundreds of millions of people in the world, today. They were lost. These people enquired as to whether there was healing in their land. Their spiritual and often their physical health was broken. If people do not listen to and obey God's word, they also will lead broken lives. Everyone must be willing to accept the healing balm of God's love. They also must be willing to live by faith in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
God's Shining Servants
All Christians have a responsibility to tell the unsaved about their need for Jesus Christ, God's son. Only Jesus can save them from their sins, and enable them to become God's children and obtain the promise of eternal life. There are many waiting, that need to hear the gospel, in many, often obscure places in the world. Some servants of the Lord are especially called to this wonderful task. We read about the work of these servants of God in Daniel chapter 12 verse 3.These are spiritually wise people, who respond to the call on their lives, to be missionaries. These people, often carry the Word of God, the Bible, into spiritually dark and even physically dangerous places; risking their lives and often living in deprived conditions. There reward is to see many people saved. They will live, eternally, like bright shining stars, who have led many people out of darkness, into God's path of righteousness.
Wandering in Satan's Darkness
In Zechariah chapter 10 verse 2b we read about the plight of people living in spiritual darkness, blinded by Satan's plots and demonic webs of deceit. They wander about like sheep because they have no shepherd to lead them. These people live afflicted and oppressed lives and are often kept captive by the lies of other people who are dominated by Satan, the god of this world, through his vicious and futile schemes. They need Jesus to redeem them from the kingdom of darkness. Only the Lord can help those who are lost, through the witness of His children.
Pray for Labourers for the Harvest.
Instead of just praying that people will be saved, rather pray for blood bought, spirit filled and anointed workers to be sent into the lives of those that are lost. God requires chosen children to follow the pathway that Jesus walked as found in Matthew chapter 9 verses 35 to 38. Jesus went around the cities and villages of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and proclaiming the good news or gospel of the Kingdom of God. He also healed all who were sick. Jesus had compassion on the crowds and was moved with pity for them. They, like many people in the world today, were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd. The harvest of souls was great then and how much more is it so in this day and age. The problem was that there were few labourers, willing or available to gather in the harvest. Our responsibility, as Christians, is to either respond to the Holy Spirit, telling us to go or else to pray to the lord of the harvest, which is Jesus, to send out blood bought, Holy Spirit anointed workers, into His harvest of souls. Don't just pray for the lost but rather pray that those people, anointed by the Spirit of God, will be willing to go forth and labour amongst those who are lost. It may be you, who God is calling? Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat this prayer
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[The Importance of communion - Part 2 - 18th August 2022]]>Thu, 18 Aug 2022 03:33:10 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-importance-of-communion-part-2-18th-august-2022Picture
Jesus Is the Mediator of the New and Better covenant
Christians learn about their new and better covenant or testament in Hebrews chapter 9 verses 13 to 18. The significance of communion becomes much greater when we realise that not only is it a remembrance feast but a reminder of our covenant with God. In the Old Testament those who were defiled as sinners, were sprinkled with the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a burnt heifer. How much more, under the new testament or covenant, will the blood of Christ, through the eternal Holy Spirit, offered Himself as a sacrifice to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God! Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant between man and God, the created and the Creator. Those who have been called by God can receive the promise of their eternal inheritance. The death and resurrection of Christ, has redeemed man from the penalty of mankind's sins, committed under the now obsolete old covenant or testament. The new will or testament became effective with Christ's death and resurrection. Both covenants were ratified by blood
Our Redeemed Life
In 1 Peter chapter 1 verses 18 and 19 we read that we were redeemed from a useless way of life, inherited from our forefathers way of life. This was from even things considered worthwhile such as silver and gold. Our redemption was purchased through the precious blood of Christ, who was foreordained before the foundations of the world, to redeem man, from their wanton existence to a life of everlasting fulfilment.
Our Faith Must Be in Christ
We learn more about our Christian walk from 1 John chapter 5 verses 4 to 8. Everyone born of God is victorious and can overcome the world, as well as their own flesh and the devil. This will happen when Christians walk by faith based on God's word, the Bible. Those that believe that Jesus is the Son of God, are the overcomers. Jesus overcame through water and the blood, His baptism and His death. There are three who bare witness. They are the Holy Spirit of truth and the water and the blood. The entire Godhead and their testimony is absolutely consistent.
Sharing Communion Demonstrates Those Who Are Overcomers
All blood bought children are overcomers. They share their love for Jesus, their Saviour and for their fellow brothers and sisters, in the Lord, We read about this from Revelation chapter 12 verse 11. God's children overcome the devil and his demonic cohorts. They were conquered because of the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Often they were faced with death but in spite of this, they did not renounce their faith in Jesus Christ, their Lord and Saviour.
Take Communion Regularly
Every Christian is well able to take communion regularly, even every day. You can share communion with your spouse, with a physical or spiritual brother or sister, with your family or if you live alone, with the Lord. The important thing is to have communion, as often as is possible. Some churches share communion as often as every week; others may be as little as every two or three months. By sharing communion more often you become more able, at church or elsewhere, to have a greater depth of commitment regarding the significance of celebrating communion. In order to do so all you require is a bottle of unfermented grape juice and a small piece of bread or cracker biscuit. Always accompany the communion time with worship by praising, adoring and thanking the Lord for His wonderful sacrifice on your behalf. Where there are more than two people celebrating communion, allow each other to share their thoughts with those present. It is important to read together, portions of scripture pertaining to communion. Suggested passages include Matthew chapter 26, verses 26 to 29;Mark chapter 14, verses 22 to 25; Luke chapter 22, verses 15 to 20 and John chapter 6, verses 53 to 58. Taking communion regularly is of vital importance to all who desire to worship the Lord ,to show their thanks for His marvellous redemption. Always meditate on the word, confess the word and apply the word to your daily circumstances. Developing your whole person into a mature being is essential for your everyday life and your faith journey throughout your sojourn on earth. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

Why I Take Communion
Taking communion together is an extraordinary part of our communion in worship as a church and individually. Christians share the breaking of bread and the drinking of the cup as symbolic of Christ's body being broken, for our redemption, on the Cross of Calvary. We share our common bond of sharing and fellowship to honour our Lord Jesus Christ. Communion can be taken as often, as it is agreed upon, in remembrance of His sacrifice, for the penalty of our sins. It is a time of adoration and of showing our heartfelt gratefulness, for His sacrifice on our behalf.
The Last Supper
The apostles shared the last supper with Jesus, before He was betrayed by Judas and was then nailed to the Cross. Christians read about this from Matthew chapter 26 verses 26 to 30. Jesus blessed the bread, representing His body, broken for us then shared it with the apostles. He took the cup, symbolising His shed blood and they all drank the cup, together. Jesus told them that it represented His shed blood, shed for many, for the remission of their sins. He then told the apostles that He would not partake of the cup, again until the day that He would drink it anew in Heaven, before His Father's Throne. They all then sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.
Partaking Spiritually of Christ
We learn about the importance of sharing communion, from John chapter 6 verses 53 to 58. Jesus states that unless Christians partake and become involved with the Lord's death and resurrection through sharing the bread, representing His broken body and the cup representing His shed blood, they have very little spiritual understanding of what He has done for them. They did not understand that they now had the life of God flowing through their spirit. Those that understand the significance of the bread and the cup possess eternal life and after their earthly life is finished, Jesus will raise them up at the Last Day. His body is true spiritual food and His blood is true spiritual drink. Those that partake spiritually of His flesh and blood believe in Him and remain in Him. He also remains in them, as their Lord and Saviour. Jesus was sent by the Father and lives by the Father and all who accept Jesus will also live because of the Lord. The bread, representing His body, came down from heaven and is not like the manna, that ancient Israel received. They ate the manna and eventually died but whoever fully partakes of Christ, the Living Bread, will live, forever.
When We Were Sinners We Were Saved
Romans chapter 5 verses 8 to 11 informs us that while we were still sinners, we were saved from the penalty of our sins. We were willing to repent and we were washed in His shed blood and became a child of God, for all eternity. All Christians are now justified and their spirits or inner persons are made righteous and freed from guilt. We have been saved from God's wrath and have been reconciled to God, our Creator. We are saved from the consequences of our sins by Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross. Each Christian can now rejoice in His love and perfection. Jesus Christ has ransomed and reconciled our lives to God the Father.
The Communion Table
We are informed about the proper procedures and outcomes of taking communion in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verses 23 to 27. Paul received from the Lord instructions regarding the manner of carrying out the Lord's Supper. At the Last Supper, on the night He was betrayed, Jesus took bread, gave thanks to the Father and broke it. He then said that the bread was broken to symbolise His broken body, broken as a sacrifice for each true believer. His children were to do the same in remembrance of Him. In the same way He took the cup, as an emblem of the shed blood, which ratified His new covenant or testament, with all believers. As often as they broke the bread and drank the cup, they were to do it in remembrance of His sacrifice, for their redemption. They were symbolising the fact of the Lord's death until He came back again. No one must eat the bread or drink the cup, in and unworthy manner. If they did so they were profaning and sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.
We Must Examine Our Own Response
In verses 28 to 31 of 1 Corinthians chapter 11 we need to examine our own response to the celebration of taking communion. Each Christian must prayerfully think about their relationship with Christ and then when they have done so, eat the bread and drink the cup. Too many communion services in churches have hasty renditions of what people have heard what others say, rather than spending time with the Lord and then being obedient in repentance and understanding what the Holy Spirit is telling them. All who do so, without feeling grateful thanks to the Lord for His sacrifice, can eat and drink judgement on themselves, if they do not recognise the reality of the Lord's sacrifice on their behalf. Unworthy oR careless participation in the Lord's Supper can be a major reason why many people are weak and sick and have even died and untimely death. If we thoughtfully and prayerfully evaluate and judge ourselves, then we would not be judged. The communion table must be a place where the presence of the Lord is a marvellous reality! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[There Is No Earthly End]]>Mon, 08 Aug 2022 02:23:52 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/there-is-no-earthly-endPicture
How Many times
We know we should always forgive. We are taught to do so in many homes, most schools and a variety of life's situations. But how many times should we forgive? After all once should be sufficient in most circumstances. However, forgiving others should be an ongoing experience throughout our life. Matthew chapter 18 informs us how many times that we should forgive a person that sinned against us. Peter was bold enough to propose seven times as sufficient. Jesus then replied to Peter that he should forgive, his brother or friend, seventy times seven. On a mathematical basis that would be four hundred and ninety times. Really Jesus was telling Peter he should always forgive someone no matter how many times it takes. Forgiveness is mandatory for all desiring eternal life.
A Servant Is Forgiven Much
From verses 23 to 27 of Matthew chapter 18, we read that a servant of the king owed the king ten thousand talents. This was a huge amount of money to repay. The king at first, finding that his servant could not repay the debt, commanded that this man, his wife and children were to be sold into slavery until full restitution of the debt had been made. The servant fell down before the king and begged him for mercy for a period of time until he was able to completely settle his debt. The king at the servants request, was moved with compassion and completely forgave the servant all of his debt.
The Merciless Servant
In Matthew chapter 18 verses 28 to 31 we find that the same servant, who had been forgiven much, was not willing to forgive a fellow servant his debt of only one hundred denarii. He took hold of this fellow servant by laying his hands around his throat and told him to pay him all that he owed. His fellow servant fell down before him and begged him to give him time and he would pay back all that he owed. The merciless servant would not listen to him but threw him into the debtor's prison until such time as he payed back all that he owed. His fellow servants were greatly distressed when they heard and went and told their master all that the merciless servant had done to his fellow servant.
Result of Unforgiveness
In Matthew chapter 18 verses 32 to 34 we read about the reaction of the king to the unjust servant, he had recently pardoned. He called the unjust servant before him and upbraided him for his wicked actions towards his fellow servant. He called him a wicked servant and reminded him that he had pardoned all his debt, after he had begged the king to do so. He then told the wicked servant that he should have had compassion on his fellow servant and done likewise. The king then delivered the ungrateful servant to the torturers until he had paid back all that he owed.
Forgive From the Heart
By reading Matthew chapter 18 verse 35 we learn about the result of the lack of forgiveness on the part of the unjust servant. From an eternally spiritual perspective the same will happen to all those who refuse to forgive their fellow person their debts. It must be far more than just lip service. It needs to be a deep forgiveness from the heart or their inner being, towards that other person.
The Gratefulness of Those Forgiven Much
In Luke chapter 7 verses 41 and 43 we read about a creditor who had two debtors, both owing him money. One owed him five hundred denarii and the other fifty denarii. Neither were able to repay their debts. The first debt was considerable and the other was relatively small. The creditor freely forgave them both. Simon was then posed the question: which one of the two debtors would be more grateful? Simon answered that he thought the one who had been forgiven much. Jesus replied that he had rightly judged.
Always Forgive
Luke chapter 17 verse 4 makes it very plain that we must always forgive others their sins against us and be willing to so so many times over. If a person sins against you seven times in a day and then repents seven times in a day then you are to forgive them.
Repentance and Forgiveness Brings Eternal Life.
Matthew chapter 6 verses 13 and 14 teaches us about the seriousness of unforgiveness. If we are willing to forgive other people their trespasses then our heavenly Father will also forgive us our trespasses. However, if we are not willing to forgive others their trespasses, even intended wrong speech and actions, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive you your sins and trespasses. Not to forgive and particularly your fellow Christians, is a very serious offence. It is so serious that if you do not make the effort and keep on with your unforgiveness, your final destiny will be hell rather than heaven. Keep forgiving throughout your life, even as Jesus through His shed Blood, has forgiven you, your sins, to the honour and glory of the Father.
Forgiveness and love of God and His Word are the entry points to eternal life for all who love the Father in Jesus' name. How many times should you forgive? Keep forgiving over and over again and never stop. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[Submission -1st August -2022]]>Mon, 01 Aug 2022 03:41:13 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/submission-1st-august-2022Picture
What Is Submission?
Submission basically means to be willing to allow someone else to have a dominant position in a conversation or a given situation. We are all familiar with being willing to obey a government law or regulation. When talking to others, it often means having a willingness to listen to their opinion. Submission is to put your volition aside and to willingly embrace and obey another person's will or governmental ruling.
Marital Submission
We read about husband and wife submission in Ephesians chapter 5 verses 21 to 25. In general Christians should be subject to each other because of reverence for Christ and His submission to the Father. Wives are to be subject to their own husbands for the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church and its Saviour. As the church is subject to Christ so wives should be subject to their husbands, in all things, because they respect their husbands position as protector and their responsibility, as head of the house. Husbands are to love their wives and take their highest care for them. This is to be an example, similar to Christ's love, for His body, the church.
Obligations of the husband
A husband's obligation to his wife must be the same as Christ's love for the church. This we read in Ephesians chapter 5 verses 28 and 29. Husbands are morally obligated to love and care for their wives as much as they would love and care for themselves. Husbands and wives do in a sense, become one body. No one hates their own body but they nourish, protect and cherish it just as Christ nourishes, protects and cherishes His body, the church.
Children Obey Your Parents.
We learn about the importance of children, obeying their parents and the rich rewards that will follow them in Ephesians chapter 6 verses 1 to 3. Children are to accept godly guidance and discipline from their parents and those in charge of them. In doing so children learn wisdom and self discipline. They are to honour and esteem their parents. Being respectful to them will bring the results of the commandment with a promise. This commandment tells us that it will go well with the children and that they also may live a long life on earth.
Fathers Are to Care for Their Children
We read about the solemn responsibilities of fathers in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 4. Fathers are not to exasperate their children to a point of resentment, with trivial or even abusive demands. They may never show favouritism or lack of interest or care, to each child. Children are to be first of all, raised in an atmosphere where there is genuine belief and acknowledgement of the veracity of God's word. They are to be tenderly raised in gentleness but also a discipline that produces godly results, based firmly on instruction from God's word.
Look after Employees
In the Roman Empire many people were employed as slaves. Today the majority of people are employees in the government, corporations and smaller companies. We read about the correct relationship and attitude to those working for others in Ephesians chapter 6 verses 5 to 8. Christian employees should be obedient and abide by their employment regulations and respect the authority of those in charge. It should not be just a matter of pleasing men with their diligence but rather doing the will of God with a proper heart attitude. Their service should be rendered with good will. They should understand that what ever good service they do, they will receive a reward from God.
Attitude of Those in Charge
In Ephesians chapter 6 verse 9 we learn that those who are responsible for others, should show good will and not be threatening or use abusive words to those in their charge. They should know that their true Master, in heaven, is watching .and that He rewards those in charge with righteous blessings. With God there is no special spiritual status regarding a person's earthly position in life.
Relationship With Authority
It is important to obey all government laws and mandates that care for the betterment of their citizens and do not oppose God's word. This we learn from 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 13 to 15. We are to submit to authorities in order to honour the name of the Lord. They may be a president or prime minister or laws passed by parliament that do not reject the principles of God's word and the authority of God. Those who do not obey righteous laws, will be punished. Those who do obey will receive honour and encouragement, to keep doing the right thing. In this way Christians muzzle those who are ignorant of obeying God.
Christians Are Free People
According to 1 Peter chapter 3 verses 16 and 17 Christians are to live as free people in the Lord. However, we must never use our freedom as a pretext or cover for doing wrong deeds. We are bond servants of our most high God. It is imperative that our relationship with other people, shows respect for them in thoughts, words and deeds. Each person that you meet, is made in the image of God. We must particularly honour all those who profess to be blood bought, children of Jesus. We must fear God and honour all those, in positions of authority. After all we may also be in a position of authority, one day and would expect to receive honour from those we lead and guide.
God Demands Honour and Respect
If we truly love the Lord we will live as faith filled Christians. We will be reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all of our life's situations. As well we will be listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit, praising and worshipping the Lord and giving Him thanks. In doing so we will be creating our own willingness to have proper relationships with the Lord and therefore with other people.

We Are Made Alive in Him
Christians learn important information about their new life, in Christ, from Ephesians chapter 2 verses 1 to 3. When we came to the Lord, we were spiritually made alive in Christ. Previously we had been dead in sins, because of our sin separating us from God's grace and mercy. We were following the ways of the world according to the deceitful leadership of Satan, the prince of the power of the air. His influence was and is now at work in all those who are unbelieving and disobedient. They live in enmity against God's will and purposes. We also once lived like the rest of the world, indulging and governed by our human sinful human natures, rather than through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We, like all unbelievers, without repenting of their sins, remained under God's wrath and existed under the bondage of spiritual death.
We Are Raised Together With Christ.
In Ephesians chapter 2 verses 6 and 7 we learn of our new spiritual position, in Christ. When we first believed we were raised up spiritually, to dwell with Christ in heavenly places. The Lord did this so that He could show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in providing for our eternal redemption. Satan and his hordes are openly seated in the air but we are seated above them, in heavenly places in Christ. Satan and his evil plots are well below us and we are in a superior position in Christ. We can defeat him, as long as we remember, we are seated far above him, in the power of Christ.
Give Satan No Opportunity
We must be careful not to give the devil and opportunity to harass or defeat us. We learn this from Ephesians chapter 4 verse 27. Christians must not allow Satan to put evil thoughts in their minds, wrong swear words on their tongues or even be part of bad actions against other people. We can sin by holding a grudge against someone in our family, a relative or even a friend. If we do sin in such a manner by harbouring resentment or nurturing anger or by remaining bitter against others, we must take the only godly course available to us. This means we must repent of these things. God forgives all who are willing to repent. He also. as we must do, forgets the incident of sin.
The Source of Spiritual Warfare
The body of Christ and all individual members, must be willing to put on the whole armour of God, in order to defeat the devil and his demonic hordes. Ephesians chapter 6 verses 11 and 12 informs us about the way we overcome our enemies. We are to successfully to oppose their wicked schemes, strategies and deceits. Often we think we are fighting other people but in reality we are fighting against the rulers and powers and the world forces of this age of darkness. Always use spiritual weapons, especially the word of God, obeying the Holy Spirit and praying to and praising the Lord for our victory, in Him. Each Christian and the body of Christ as a whole is fighting against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places.
The Defeated Foes
All of us must follow the example of Christ. This we learn from Colossians chapter 2 verse 15. When Christ rose from the dead and we rose with Him, the Lord disarmed all principalities and powers, operating as natural and supernatural forces of evil. He took them publicly captive and made them powerless against His overcoming power. Jesus triumphed over them through His death and resurrection on the Cross. We are part of that triumphal procession with Jesus.
The Snare of Death Is Broken
In Hebrews chapter 2 verses 14 and 15 we are informed that we can also make powerless in our lives, the fallen angel called Satan. He once had the power of eternal death. Jesus made free all who would believe in Him and follow and obey Him All people, everywhere, had the haunting spectre of death hanging over their lives until the glorious day, that Jesus rose from the dead. Everyone was held as a slave, but Jesus gave them the opportunity to be free from the fear of death and inherit eternal life.
You Must Resist the Devil
If we are willing to submit to the authority of God, then Satan is a 'goner'. We are told this in James chapter 4 verse 7. Next step is to resist the devil, personally. It is not sufficient for you to just pray to God to resist the devil on your behalf. Nor can you leave it to the prayers of other people, even pastors or friends. You, yourself, must resist Satan and he then must flee. Flee means to run off quickly, in terror. You Must resist the devil and because you are God's child, he will leave and take his deceit and evil with him. You are responsible, through Christ, to resist the devil.
Submit to God and You Will Have Victory.
We read in 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8 and 9 that our enemy, the devil, is constantly prowling around, pretending to be a roaring lion, seeking whom he may upset or cause to fall from God's way. He is doing this to all our brothers and sisters in the faith, around the world. Those who resist him, by walking by faith, overcome him Remember, faith comes by hearing the word of God, over and over again, as well as by learning from and being obedient to the Holy Spirit. Always, in Christ, you are an overcomer! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Satan's Power Is Broken]]>Mon, 25 Jul 2022 03:36:36 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/satans-power-is-brokenPicture
Jesus Rebukes Satan
We read about the passage where Jesus was tempted by Satan, in the Wilderness, in Matthew chapter 4 verse 10. Jesus rebuked Satan for his temptations and told him to flee. God's written word tells us that every being, in both heaven and earth, were only to worship the One true God. He alone was to be honoured and obeyed. We have the Lord's command that we must obey and serve God and no one else. How much the majority of mankind have not obeyed God's word, but rather gone their own way.
Jesus Has All Authority
We learn from reading Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20, that Jesus has been given all power and authority in heaven and earth, by God the Father. This occurred when He rose again from the dead. Jesus then immediately, delegated His authority to His blood bought children and told them to go and make disciples of all nations, in the name of the blessed Trinity-the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These people were to be taught the truths and commands contained in God's word, the Bible. The Lord was with and is with and will be with all His chosen children, as they tell forth the glorious words of the gospel, until He returns on the Last Day.
You Have Authority Over Demons
We must do God's work in His empowering, as recorded in Mark chapter 16 verses 17 and 18. The Lord told His servants that there would be signs following the anointing, that He gave them. In the name of Jesus they would cast out demons and speak in new tongues. They would take up serpents and be able to drink poisons, as it would not affect them. Demons, under the control of Satan, must be bound up and cast out, in the name of Jesus. This must be before they are allowed to wreak havoc in families, health, finances, relationships, workplace situations or in any circumstance that you confront in life. It is demonic power that blinds the eyes of the wicked, that controls governments and worldly institutions and sometimes the leadership and working of churches and church organisations. Always, Christians must be extremely sensitive, spiritually, to the leading of the Holy Spirit and bind up and cast out the devilish powers determined to cause evil to prevail.
Rebuke Satan's Attempt to Enslave You.
Satan will always attempt to bring to our minds our failures and mistakes of the past. This is an effort by Satan, to try and enslave us to our past and make us believe that those things of the past are still an active problem , today. If we have repented then they are forgiven and forgotten by God. We are to walk by faith in God's word, never doubting. When doubting occurs, bind up Satan and his evil devices and cast him out of your mind. According to James chapter 1 verses 6 and 8, we must live never doubting. Those that allow Satan to keep them, bound to their past, are like waves of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. They become double minded and will never receive blessings from God, while they remain doubters.
Our Empowerment Over Satan
Luke chapter 10 verses 18 and 19 informs us that Jesus witnessed Satan, being cast out of heaven and his fall was like lightning. Jesus, in His resurrection power, gave His children authority to trample on scorpions and serpents. These dangerous creatures are given to illustrate types representing the wickedness of Satan and demons. We have been given authority over all the scheming plots and plans of the enemy, the devil. As we abide in Christ and His power, nothing that Satan throws against us will hurt us, in our spiritual walk upon this earth. Our authority is through the power of the blood that Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary.
Satan's Judgement Day
The judgement day for Satan, the ruler of this evil world and its nefarious systems, was at hand. Jesus mentions this in John chapter 12 verse 31. Jesus was about to go to the Cross at Calvary for the sins and iniquities of all of mankind. The crucifixion looked like God had lost out but Jesus' resurrection proved that Satan was now doomed for eternity and was then judged for his deceit and imprisonment of mankind.
Jesus Reigns Above All Other Authority
When you gave your life to Jesus, were forgiven of your sins, you became a new creation; one of His very own children. We learn about the Lord's great and mighty power and rule from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 19 to 23. God the Father exhibited His mighty power when He raised Jesus from the dead and then seated Him at His own right hand, in Heaven. The moment you gave your life to the Lord, you were also raised, with Christ and your spirit became recreated and you also were then seated with Jesus, in heavenly places. Jesus' position is now one of dominion over all rule and authority, both in heaven and on earth. This was granted to the Lord, by the Father. This authority is not only in this world but also in all the ages to come. Everything was put in subjection under Christ's feet. Jesus is the head over His body, the church. He fills and completes all things, in the lives of all believers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Temple of the Holy Spirit-Part 2 -20th July 2022]]>Wed, 20 Jul 2022 03:17:08 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-temple-of-the-holy-spirit-part-2-20th-july-2022Picture
God's Temple in Us Is Holy
Collectively, the church of believers is the temple of God on earth. The Holy Spirit indwells God's people as a whole and individually. This we read about in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16 and 17. If we destroy our temple with vain thoughts, foolish and vile speech and thoughtless and violent acts then God will allow our temple to be destroyed. We must not let false doctrine or teaching lead us astray, from the truth of God' s word. God will destroy the source of the false teaching and the false teacher, as well as ourselves, if we don't repent. The temple of God in us is holy and sacred and must be kept washed by the word of God and the cleansing power of Christ's shed blood.
Flee from All Forms of Impurity.
We learn from 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 16 to 18 that if we join oneself to a prostitute we become one body with that prostitute. The two people become one flesh. Born again believers are united with the Lord; we become one spirit with Him. Every Christian must flee sexual immorality in thoughts, speech and actions. We are to regard sexual impurity as if it was the plague. Those that commit sexual immorality do so against their own body. Every other sin people commit outside their body.
Your Body Belongs to God
In 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 19 and 20 we learn that our physical body, including our will, thoughts and emotions of our soul, are also the temple of the Holy Spirit. Our temple is a special gift from God. We belong wholly to God and we are not our own property, once we repent and we gave our lives to the Lord. You were bought with the price of Christ's shed blood on the Cross at Calvary and became His very own possession. We must honour and glorify God with our body. Remember, your body, along with all born again believers, is individually and corporately the temple of the Holy Spirit. This is not made by mankind but specially crafted by the hand of God, Himself. Keep it pure and holy at all times and when you do forget, quickly repent!
Growing Into the Eternal Temple
We read how God is building and consolidating our earthly temples into His eternal temple. This we learn in Ephesians chapter 2 verses 19 to 22. All believers are no longer aliens but rather citizens with God and the angelic host, along with all our earthly brothers and sisters. We are an everlasting part of God's household. The foundation of this temple are the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ, Himself, being the chief cornerstone. In Jesus the whole structure is not only held together but also growing into the eternal holy temple of God. This temple is holy and is dedicated to the Lord. We are in fellowship with one another and are being built together, as a dwelling place for God, through the Holy Spirit and God's word.
The Anointing Breaks the Yoke
Our temple requires cleansing and new empowering throughout our earthly life. We learn of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, upon our lives, from Isaiah chapter 10 verse 27. The Assyrians were coming to destroy Israel but the Lord broke forth on behalf of His people. The prophet, Isaiah, was speaking to God's people in ancient Israel but God's anointing is readily available to His body, the church, right now. This anointing is for every individual temple as well as the corporate anointing of His temple, the church. The burdens of doubt and unbelief will be taken off our shoulders and the yoke of unforgiveness and lack of faith from each temple's neck. The bondages that come into the lives of those in the temple of God will be destroyed by the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit being poured out by faith, upon all who are ready and prepared to receive God's refreshing oil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. Solomon's Temple
Three thousand years ago the Lord gave David, as King of Israel, the vision of building the Temple in Jerusalem. David, because he had been involved in so much warfare against his enemies, God forbade him to build His Temple. This marvellous work was placed in the hands of David's son, Solomon. The Temple in Jerusalem was one of the most magnificent and costly structures, built by man, in the ancient world.
Destruction of the Temple
Many years later, God allowed Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, to destroy the Temple and much of the city of Jerusalem in 586 BC. The people had wandered away from God and defied His laws and commandments. Many of the people were taken captive and transported to Babylon, where they and their descendants remained in captivity, for 70 years. When they returned, the people, under Nehemiah, rebuilt the Temple and repaired the city walls. This second Temple was enlarged, with public support, by Herod the Great, in 37 BC. The enlarged second temple was there in Jerusalem, when Jesus and the apostles had their earthly ministry, before the final destruction of the Temple in 70 AD by the Roman army, led by Titus.
The New Temple of God
God no longer lives in temples made by men's hands. Each born again, blood bought child of God is a new temple of the Holy Spirit. This we are told in 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19. Every true believer has their inner person or spirit renewed in the image of God. Their whole being becomes the new temple of God. The Holy Spirit within us replaces the carnal nature of the flesh. The Holy Spirit has been received as a gift from God and we have become the property of God with the Holy Spirit indwelling us.
Israel Sought Their Own Welfare, First.
When Israel returned from Babylon, about 520 BC, they concentrated on building their own louses before giving prominence to rebuilding the Temple of God. We read about this in Haggai chapter 2 verse 3. Few Israelites, that returned from Babylon, had seen Solomon's Temple in all its' former glory. Those who could remember it were very few. The Temple was now a broken down, decrepit structure compared with its' former glory.
The New Temple Is Greater Than the Former
We read about the new temple and its' glory in Haggai chapter 2 verse 7. God declared that the glory of His house in the latter days, would be far greater than its' glory in the former days. In the spirit of those who believe, God promises that He would put His ultimate peace and prosperity. Those who are heaven bound can inherit the fullness of God's glory in the Temple that God has provided for them. Remember, you are that temple of the Spirit of God!
You Are Set Apart
We learn about our separation from the world and its' evil and uncleanness in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 14 to 18. We are warned not to be unequally bound to unbelievers. This would undoubtedly include marriage relationships and could include business partnerships and making agreement with unbelievers. There can be no real fellowship between darkness and light nor between Christ and Satan. There is no common ground for fellowship. We are the temples of the living God and can have nothing in common with idolatry. God dwells in us through the Holy Spirit in our spirit. God is our God and we are His children. We are to come out from among unbelievers and be separate from their evil practices. We must not be partakers or their vulgar speech or acts. Our God is our Father and we are His eternal sons and daughters. We are to live as faith filled, hope endowed and love motivated, temples of the living God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[Let the Spirit Lead You--Part 2]]>Mon, 11 Jul 2022 02:47:17 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/let-the-spirit-lead-you-part-2Picture

Purpose of Spiritual Gifts
According to 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 12 to 15 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink [g]into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? We learn that those who speak in tongues are not speaking to other people but unto God. It is a direct line from you to God's throne which Satan cannot understand. However to be of value to other people the tongues need to be interpreted in a common earthly language. In the realm of God's Spirit the person is speaking mysteries. When people prophesy they can bring both edification, exaltation and comfort to other people. Those who speak in tongues are built up themselves, however, prophecy edifies the entire church. Paul wished that all the people spoke in tongues and even more so that they prophesied. Speaking in tongues requires interpretation so that a greater measure of in depth spiritual teaching can take place. Interpretation is so important or else how can others know what is being said? Therefore there is no spiritual understanding for others in the church. When a person prays in a tongue their spirit prays but their understanding is unfruitful. The conclusion is that if we pray with the spirit we must also pray with our understanding. This also applies when we sing in the spirit.
The Day of Pentecost
We read in Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 5 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them [b]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. The apostles and other disciples were all gathered together in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost. This was fifty days after Jesus' resurrection. Suddenly there came a sound of a rushing mighty wind which filled the whole house. Divided tongues of fire sat on all who were present. All of them were then filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit empowered them to speak. People from many different nations and cultures had come together to hear God speaking to them in their own native language. This was the beginning of the church age.
How the Holy Spirit Contacts Us
We hear the Holy Spirit speaking to us through our own inner person or spirit and never through our rational mind. All born again Christians are capable of being filled or baptised with the Holy Spirit. A number don't receive because of unbelief; lack of teaching or a lack of yielding themselves wholly to God. If you truly believe then ask in faith and then believe that you will receive. To be able to hear God's voice we must learn to listen to our inner voice or else we will make mental decisions instead of spiritual ones. Beware that Satan will try to prevent people speaking in tongues because this amounts to having a reduced spiritual empowerment or understanding.
God Appoints His Workers
In Acts chapter 13 verses 1 to 4 we read: Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. We read that at the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers. As they ministered and fasted the Holy Spirit told them to separate Saul and Barnabas for the work the Lord had appointed them to do. They further prayed and fasted, laid their hands on them and sent them away. So they were commissioned by the Holy Spirit and not by man and them sailed from Seleucia to Cyprus. It is so important that all Christian endeavour and workers are chosen by God and commissioned by the Holy Spirit and not by mental agreement and not by a counsel of people or even a church voting as a body.
Not Every One Is Baptised in the Holy Spirit
Further spiritual wisdom is learned from Acts chapter 19 verses 1 to 6 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism.”Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Paul left Apollos at Corinth and then travelled to Ephesus. Paul enquired of the disciples at Ephesus if they had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit when they first believed. These people had not understood that there was such a person as the Holy Spirit. Paul asked them what they had been baptised into? They replied that they had been baptised into John' baptism. John's baptism in immersion was for repentance and sins forgiven. They received Paul's instruction and were then baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. When Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
Conclusion
Every Christian, in order to be able to worship the Lord with greater abounding praises, should be baptised in the Holy Spirit. Further more, no matter your Christian persuasion, it is absolutely vital that you learn to listen to your inner person and know what the Holy Spirit is telling you. This will save you much time, disappointment, bad health outcomes and even financial distress. God desires to pour upon us all His marvellous blessings for our life. When you hear that inner voice you will know if it is the Holy Spirit or Satan because the information will always be in line with God's Word, the Bible. Always remember that the inner voice is the most important way that the Holy Spirit communicates with God's children. Keep seeking only God's blessings in your life and you will walk in His fulfilment and abundance. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Let the Holy Spirit Lead You - 6th July 2022]]>Wed, 06 Jul 2022 02:31:15 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/let-the-holy-spirit-lead-you-6th-july-2022Picture
Introduction
For those who desire to serve the Lord it is absolutely essential not to make spiritual decisions with head knowledge. It is vital that Christians listen to their inner voice or spirit. The inner voice hears directly from the Holy Spirit the things that God desires you to know. These are those things that glorify the Father in Jesus' name. They are important decisions that enable us to inherit the best possible outcomes for our lives. These decisions can be obtained by diligently reading and confessing God's Word and by obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit. All who are led by the Spirit of God will be full of praise and thanksgiving to their almighty Father in Jesus' name. Their very lips will show forth His wonder and glory.

We Must Live in the Spirit of God
Romans chapter 8 verses 9 to 14 gives us an excellent understanding of being led by the Spirit. If we are Christs' we are not to live by the flesh but by the Spirit. Only those who are born again through the forgiveness of their sins, can have the Holy Spirit indwelling them. As Christ abides in us our flesh, which once served sin, is now dead to unrighteousness. The Holy Spirit has given us life so that we now are able to live in God's righteousness. The Spirit of God, who now lives in us, is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. We now are enabled to live the God kind of life, through the Holy Spirit indwelling us. No longer do we live according to the flesh. Even as Christians, we can slide back into the world and will begin to die spiritually, if we don't repent. We must put to death the deeds of the flesh so that we can spiritually live as God intends us to do. All those people who are led by the Spirit of God , the Holy Spirit; are the children of God. We will not again receive the spirit of bondage of living in fear of Satan's kingdom, unless we disobey God. We have been adopted by the Holy Spirit and God is now, our Father. The Holy Spirit constantly bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. We are also are heirs of God's righteousness and eternal life. We are now heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

The Holy Spirit Exalts Jesus
1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 3 to 11 informs us of how the Spirit of God communicates with our spirit. First of all no one speaking by the Holy Spirit of God can call Jesus accursed nor can they call Jesus, Lord, except by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit speaks through God's children by a diversity of gifts and ministries. However it is the same God that works in all these activities. Whatever the gift or manifestation of the Holy Spirit it, is given for the profit of all people.

Various Manifestations
One person may have a word of wisdom, that gives understanding or confirmation to those needing to know God's will in a given situation. The word of knowledge is given by the Holy Spirit for understanding of what is the real situation and why and even where. This enables people to avoid dangerous pitfalls in life. The Holy Spirit gives healing, understanding and empowerment to those who are sick in body, soul or spirit. There are also workings of miracles so that God, outside human understanding, miraculously intervenes in circumstances. Another person may receive a prophecy regarding things to come or a greater wisdom of how to understand God's Word. There is a gift of speaking in tongues, which is different in language, yet common to all baptised in the Holy Spirit. There is an interpretation gift of discerning of tongues for the edification of one or all concerned. There is also an understanding of discerning of spirits, whether they are from God or Satan. Satan counterfeits or tries to counterfeit the gifts and distract people from God's ways. All the gifts of the Spirit are distributed to each Christian, as the Holy Spirit determines.

Conclusion
Never receive a word from someone if it conflicts with God's Word, the Bible. Always keep your mind still so that you can hear clearly what the Holy Spirit is telling you.

<![CDATA[A Better Covenant - Part 2 - 30th June 2022]]>Thu, 30 Jun 2022 03:14:24 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/a-better-covenant-part-2-30th-june-2022Picture
Covenants Demand Obedience
If a covenant is ever going to be successful it demands obedience from its participants. Jesus was obedient to His death on the Cross and earned the right to become the Mediator of a better covenant. We must also learn to be obedient to the Lord in order to walk in His ways. We read about obedience to the covenant in Exodus chapter 24 verses 7 and 8. Moses read from the Book of the Covenant in the presence of the people. They all heard and agreed to be obedient to the understanding and requirements of the covenant. Moses then took the blood of sacrificed animals and sprinkled the blood on the people. The blood represented the covenant which the lord had made with the people of Israel, according to all the words they had heard.
Regular Partaking of Communion
It is so important that born again children of God regularly remember His death and resurrection. This we read about in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 26. As often as we take communion we are reminded of Christ's amazing death and resurrection, on behalf of all who were, and are willing to believe. We have died to self with Him and were raised to eternal life in Him. Remembering His death and resurrection gives us a greater understanding of what He has done on our behalf and what it really means to be His child.
It Really Is a Better Covenant!
It is only through Christ and His shed blood that we inherit this better covenant. We learn about this in Hebrews chapter 8 verses 6 to 11. Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry and became the Mediator between God the Father and mankind of a better covenant established upon better promises. If the first covenant had been faultless there would not have been a need for a better covenant. Jesus Himself foretold of a better covenant between Himself and the Houses of Israel and Jacob. It was far greater than the covenant that He made with His people Israel, when He brought them out of Egypt. His children broke the covenant and the Lord then disregarded His covenant with them. In His new covenant, with His born again, blood bought children, the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, has written His laws on their spirits. He now is the God of all who believe and they are truly His children.
God Remembers Our Sins No More
In reading Hebrews chapter 8 verses 12 and 13 we learn of God's great mercy towards mans' unrighteousness. All who repent have their sins forgiven and forgotten. All their sins and iniquities He will remember no more. As we now have a new covenant with God this means that all previous covenants are annulled and have become obsolete by the new and better New Testament covenant in Christ. This old covenant was already passing away between the time of Christ's resurrection and the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD.This was the forty years when the intertestamental period when the new covenant in Christ's blood, was inspired by the Holy Spirit and written down. It became the foundation stone of the church of God then and down through the ages.
Enjoy the Blessings of the Covenant!
For all believers this is indeed a better covenant built upon greater promises. Jesus has opened the doorway of repentance and reconciliation, as well as the doorway to total healing, to enjoy, forever. One of the greatest blessings that each saint or Christian believer inherits, is to be a minister of the New Testament covenant of the reconciliation of mankind to their Father God, through their Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Lord has qualified us as ministers of the new covenant. We read about this in 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 6. This is salvation through Christ, not just by means of a written code, but by the Holy Spirit interacting with our spirit person. It is the Spirit of God which gives life to the new testament or covenant and we have been given the task, by God, of being ambassadors of this covenant. As we listen to the Holy Spirit we learn more and become more able to reach others about the gospel. We are also more willing to understand the meaning of God's word, for both ourselves and other people. Daily keep on reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word to your life's situations. Keep on obeying the Lord and your earthly mission will be wonderfully fulfilled in Jesus!
<![CDATA[A Better Covenant - Part 1-27th June 2022]]>Mon, 27 Jun 2022 03:19:55 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/a-better-covenant-part-1-27th-june-2022Picture
What Is a Covenant?
A covenant is a solemn agreement between God and mankind or between one group of people and another group of people, of like mind or intentions. Everything that is mine can be shared with another person and everything that is theirs can be shared with me. Everything that is God's can become part of my life and everything that I possess is willingly given to the Lord. Christian covenant partners are sharers of God's great goodness and mercy.
Old Testament Covenants
In the Old Testament the Lord made a number of covenants with different, chosen people. The first covenant was one concerning a covenant with Adam. Next God made a covenant with Noah in Genesis chapter 6 verse 8. This covenant was confirmed by a rainbow. After the flood the Lord made a covenant with Abraham. The Abrahamic covenant concerned circumcision. Following on we come to the Mosaic covenant concerning the sabbath. This covenant was made between God and Moses. We read about this covenant in Exodus chapter 31 verse 18. This covenant vitally involved helping Israel to keep the sabbath and the ten commandments. All of these above mentioned covenants were fulfilled and replaced when Jesus, the Messiah, rose again from the dead.
The Messenger of the New Covenant
We learn about the messenger of the New Covenant in Malachi chapter 3 verse 1. This foretold messenger was John the Baptist, the forerunner of the Lord. He went before the Lord and was used mightily to bring many people, in Israel, to repentance. Then began Jesus' earthly ministry. Many in Israel were seeking the long awaited Messiah. Jesus was the bringer of the new and better covenant. He was the One in whom God's people would delight. He was and is the Redeemer and Saviour of the world.
Sharing Communion
In Matthew chapter 26 verses 26 to 29 we learn about Jesus sharing communion, with His disciples. This same pattern has been followed by the church, down through the ages. We demonstrate this procedure in church, varying its frequency from once a week to as little as once every three months. Christians can also share communion with one another and with the Lord, regularly, even daily. First of all we partake of the bread, which represents His broken body, broken for our spiritual, emotional and bodily healing. With His stripes we are healed. We then drink from the cup representing our salvation. The wine in the cup is a symbol of His shed blood, shed for the remission and forgiveness of our sin. As we share we are confirming our eternal covenant with the Lord. Jesus will hold communion with His church again, when we partake of the cup anew, in His Father's Kingdom.
Communion at the Last Supper
We read in Luke chapter 22 verse 20 where Jesus partakes of communion with His twelve Apostles in what is traditionally called The Last Supper. This occurred with all twelve present before Judas went and betrayed the Lord. This supper, particularly the taking of the cup of wine, celebrated the bringing in of the New Covenant ratified by Christ's shed blood at the Cross of Calvary.
Jeremiah Prophesies About the New Covenant
In Jeremiah chapter 31 verses 31 to 34, hundreds of years before, the Old Testament prophet foretells of a new and better covenant. The day was coming when the lord would make a new covenant with the houses of Israel and Judah. It would not be like the covenant that the Lord made, with His people, when He led them out of bondage from Egypt. They broke this covenant and the Lord disregarded this covenant with them. In this new covenant the Lord would put His laws in their minds and write them on their hearts or inner person or spirit. They would then be God's children and He would be their God. No more should people have to teach their neighbour who God is, for all of them had God's laws written on their minds and in their spirits. They would know who God is, from the least of them to the greatest of them. In this wonderful covenant God would forgive sinners and all their lawless sins. He would remember them no more.
We are Partakers of a New Covenant
Today every Christian, indeed every person, has the opportunity to embrace and live in a wonderful new covenant, full of God's mercy and love. Our unrighteousness thoughts, words and actions are eternally forgiven and forgotten. What a wonderful and amazing God we serve! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[You Are Crucified With Christ - Part 2]]>Mon, 20 Jun 2022 03:41:50 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-crucified-with-christ-part-2Picture
The Hidden Mystery of the Cross
Paul wrote about God's wisdom as a hidden mystery, concerning the Cross. Had any of the rulers of that time, particularly the Roman and Jewish leaders, known the incredible ramifications of nailing our Lord to the Cross, they would not have crucified Jesus.
The Supreme Wisdom of God
1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 26 and 27 tells us that the perceived foolishness of God by man is much wiser than the greatest wisdom of man. Any perceived weakness of God is much stronger than mans' paltry strength. Their are very few people who are called wise by the world, even mighty or noble, that are chosen by God for eternal life because their pride gets in the way. God has chosen the foolish things and people, to make the proud look shameful and truly foolish. He has also chosen that which is weak to put to shame the things which the flesh and the world call mighty. No one will be able to boast about their goodness before God.
God's Recovery Mission
1 Corinthians 2 verses 7 and 8 gives us an insight of God's majestic plan to redeem fallen mankind. This amazing recovery mission was ordained by God before the ages of earth began. That is for all those who are willing to receive God's gracious gift of sins, forgiven. Satan was now defeated, and did not realise, at the time, the real implications of the destruction of his works by those who rely on Jesus to carry out His mighty plan of redemption. Every Christian must rejoice that they are saved because of Jesus' obedience to the Father, in going to the Cross. His death and resurrection must be an uppermost thought in their life of God's wondrous grace.
We Must Crucify the Old Person
In Galatians chapter 2 verse 20 we read that we have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer we who dominate our being but Christ living in us. The old person with its horrible thoughts and attitudes and its hatred and cruelty must now be crucified with Christ. Instead we must now be filled with His love, faith, hope and forgiveness for ourselves and those in our family and all whom we meet. Christ lives in each Christian by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us and this is what we also must do if we desire to be like Christ. To do so we daily read and confess His Word over our life situations. We keep praising His Holy Name and listen to and obey the Holy Spirit's directions and guidance for our life.
Walking In the Spirit.
In Galatians 5 verses 24 and 25 we read that those who are Christ's have already crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Whenever they have a wrong thought they immediately dismiss it from their mind. When they say something that is hurtful or even a lie, they repent straight away. If possible they apologise to those to whom they may have spoken an unkind word or done an unkind act. Constantly they desire to be like Christ. These people are enabled to do so by walking in the Spirit. They live daily according to the directions of their inner voice relaying the wisdom and instructions of the Holy Spirit. The works of the flesh, the world and the Devil are put behind them.
Boast of the Cross
We should always boast only in the Cross of Christ and not just what we desire to speak about. All fleshly boasting is vain and useless. Because of the Cross we are able to crucify our flesh through abiding in the Lord. Galatians chapter 6 verse 14 informs us of this very important understanding. It is now no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me to the honour and glory of the Father. Putting off the old person through the crucifixion of the flesh is no mean task. It is a godly thing that takes time to do and a consistent daily effort. Put Satan and the Flesh to the Sword
The new resurrected person must keep God's commandments of loving God and other people. If we get angry or say or do the wrong thing we must repent of it as quickly as possible. Each Christian must not let Satan have a place in their life under any circumstance. They must not speak corruptly but only words that build up. Never grieve the Holy Spirit. None of us should be bitter or hold grudges. We must be kind and always forgive each other, as Christ has forgiven us.
We are Crucified With Christ
When He was crucified we were crucified with Him and when He rose again we rose again in Him. Now we are seated, spiritually, in heavenly places in Him. It is no longer we that live as people bound by foolish, selfish, fleshly ways. We now live a life in Christ of love, joy, peace and forgiveness. The old person has been crucified forever and the new resurrected person has taken its place.
                                                          Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily: I am a child of God. <![CDATA[You Are Crucified With Christ -Part 1-15th June 20222]]>Wed, 15 Jun 2022 03:09:20 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-crucified-with-christ-part-1Picture
We all follow Our Own Way

All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one, to his own way. This we read in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 6b. Christians are required by God to turn to God's ways and to become crucified with Christ. No longer are they to do their own thing but are required to crucify their flesh and its lusts. It is important to conform their lives according to the way Jesus lived on earth and obey His Word, the Bible. They must be obedient to what the Holy Spirit teaches them to do. Daily they must crucify their flesh and walk in the abundance of goodness that God has provided for them. The old man or person must be crucified with Christ.
Daily Live a Crucified Life
We read in Romans chapter 6 verses 6 to 14 that our old person was crucified with Christ. This enabled us, in Christ, to put away the body of sin, which so plagued our lives, sometimes even doing things we knew were wrong. In Christ, all who have died to themselves, become free from sin. Because we died with Christ, we spiritually, are raised and able to live with Him. Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Likewise we being raised from the dead, die no more. We live eternally. Death no longer has dominion over the Lord and therefore death no longer has dominion over us. Jesus died to sin and lives forever more. We are able to be alive to God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. We must not let sinful speech or actions take place in our daily living. We are now dead to self and alive to righteousness in Christ. Now we are alive from the dead and all our being and senses are alive to live righteously in Christ. Sin shall not have dominion over us because we once lived in bondage in Satan's kingdom of darkness. Once we were under law, which we could not fulfil, but now we live in God's great grace which He fulfils for all who believe.
Problem For Both Greeks And Jews
In 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 23 and 24 we are told that Paul preached Christ crucified. This posed a problem for the intellectual reasoning of both the Jews and the Gentiles or Greeks. It was a stumbling block to the Jews who regarded crucifixion as being only for criminals under the Roman military culture. The Greeks, who liked to reason things out, regarded crucifixion as rank foolishness. However, all who are called by the Father to be saints, no matter what their race or background, know, that through the Cross, Christ has given to God's people their inheritance. It revealed the redeeming power of God and the wisdom of God.
Understanding The Cross
Paul had an incredible understanding of the Cross such as few Christians, comprehend today. We learn about this in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 2. The apostle Paul determined to preach the message of forgiveness available through the Lord's sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary above everything else. It was, after all, the dividing point in history between spiritual death and everlasting life. The flesh mattered little but the availability of sins forgiven, through Christ's precious blood and the gift of eternal life, was far superior to anything that had happened and has happened on planet Earth.
The Wisdom Of God
In 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 26 and 27 we read about the wisdom of God. The perceived foolishness of God is much wiser than the greatest wisdom of man. Any perceived weakness of God is much stronger than man's paltry strength. There are a few people who are called wise by the world, even mighty or noble, that are chosen by God for eternal life because their pride gets in the way. God has chosen the foolish things and people of the world, to make the proud look shameful. He has also chosen that which is weak to put to shame the things which the flesh and the world call mighty.

<![CDATA[Your New Nature and Your Inheritance -8th June 2022]]>Wed, 08 Jun 2022 03:30:08 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-new-nature-and-your-inheritance-8th-june-2022Picture
Being Baptised Into Christ's Body
All born again believers have been baptised into the body of Christ, which is the church. We were baptised into Christ's death when He died on the Cross and were raised to newness of life with Christ, when He was raised from death and we inherited our new born again spirit or nature. Our old spirit or nature was crucified with Christ and our new spirit person has been raised with Christ for eternal salvation. This enables us to have the ability to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. All who have repented and have accepted Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, have a new recreated spirit.
Christians Must Be Dead to Sin
We read about our attitude to sin from Romans chapter 6 verses 11 to 14. we must be dead to sin and our spirits alive to God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. We must not let sin reign or rule over our minds, will or emotions nor our mortal body. We must not obey the lusts of the flesh through our thoughts, speech or actions. Our whole being must be presented to God as being alive from the deadness of sin and alive to righteousness in Christ. We've been bought with the price of the Lord's precious shed blood. Our life has been built upon reading, confessing, meditating and applying God's word to our lifestyle through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Born again people must not allow sin to have dominion over them, for they are no longer under law, but under the blessings of God's bountiful grace.
You Are Free From Sin
What a wonderful fact we learn from Romans chapter 6 verses 23 and 24! When Christ rose from the dead we also rose with Him and we were made free from sin. Once we were in bondage to all forms of sin's, slavery and deceits, but now we are children of God. No longer under chains to Satan and sin's wicked ways. Those who repent have their sins forgiven and become holy, redeemed children of God. The result is that they are able to inherit eternal life. We once were slaves to sin and our wages were eternal death and separation from God's goodness. We are now those who live forever as children of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Our Guaranteed Inheritance
All those who love the Lord have a guaranteed eternal inheritance. We learn about our inheritance from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 17 to 23. God gives His children a spirit of wisdom and revelation concerning the knowledge of who He is. Our spirits became enlightened by the Holy Spirit, enabling us to know what is the hope of His calling and the glory of the inheritance that He shall give to each of His children. We come to know, because we believe Him and His word according to the revelation given to us, through the mighty interaction of the Holy Spirit with our spirit. This knowledge became ours when the Father raised Christ from the dead when we were also raised with Him. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father and we are seated with Him in heavenly places. We are seated with Christ, far above Satan and his demonic hordes and far above all earthly principalities and every name that is named or will be named. All things are under the authority of Jesus and we are reigning above with Him, right now. This authority God has given to His church, which is His body and Jesus is the head. The Lord is the supreme authority that fills all in all.
Living Free From Sin
Romans chapter 8 verse 2 to 4 tells us that all God's born again children, can live free from Satan's lies and deceits. This is because the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made His children, free from the laws of sin and death. The law could not make us free, nor can any edict or mandate of mankind, set people free. The law and every dictate, without the anointing of the Holy Spirit, empowering the word of God, is weak through the inability of man's flesh to live righteously, by their own power. The Father sent Jesus Christ into the world in the likeness of sinful man. The purity of God, as revealed in Jesus Christ, condemns sin in the flesh. Only the repentant sinner, who is forgiven and then reborn according to the Holy Spirit, is able to be like God and inherit the promises of God.
True Children of God
Romans chapter 8 verse 14 informs us that only those people who are born again, with recreated spirits by the Holy Spirit, can become children of God and partake of God's inheritance. These people are willing to live according to God's word and the revelation knowledge imparted by the Spirit of God. All who do so are the children of God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
