To Be Like Jesus
To desire to be like Jesus means that the world, the flesh and the devil, must be put to the spiritual sword. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of God, must be our goal and guide in life. No one can ever be like Jesus unless they repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They must be a born again child of God, their Father, through the shed blood of the Lord, on the Cross of Calvary. Only those who truly aspire to walk in God's ways, as revealed in God's word, the Holy Bible, can ever become like Jesus.
You Must Love Others
To become like Jesus you must be willing to love other people. This is absolutely mandatory. Everyone; parents, siblings, friends, relatives, acquaintances and in fact anyone that we know, despite who they are, whether good or bad, or whatever they have done. We read about God's love in John chapter 15 verse 12. All genuine Christians must love other people with an unselfish love. They must seek what is best for others rather than just for themselves. Why is this so? It is because the Lord loves us and we are to learn to love as He loves us. We must allow our redeemed spirit and then our being redeemed mind to love others, as God loves us.
You Must Love God
We learn that our first and foremost love must always be for our God. Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5 informs us that we are to love the Lord, our God, with all our heart or spirit and with our soul; our mind, will and emotions and with all our bodily strength and actions. To do so it is imperative not to do our own thing but to listen and obey the Holy Spirit's directions and also to be willing to obey the counsels and wisdom contained in God's word, the Holy Bible.
We Must Obey God
Obedience to God's will and purposes, for God's children, is absolutely necessary. If laws are enacted by the state, which oppose God's word, then Christians have no other choice than to obey God rather than man. We learn of Peter's example in Acts chapter 5 verse 29. Having said that we must always obey the laws and regulations of the land, which do not oppose God's word, the Holy Bible. At the moment, in the majority of cases, these laws are for the good of people living in their own specific land.
Always Be Forgiving
Those people who truly love the Lord, must always be ready and willing to forgive others, as well as forgiving themselves, for mistakes and intended trespasses. Regarding this we are given clear instructions in Colossians chapter 3 verse 13. We must bear graciously with others and particularly our family members and our Christian brothers and sisters. It is important to willingly forgive each other no matter what the issue or complaint. Why? Because God has forgiven everyone, who is willing to receive the gift of eternal life. As God forgives us so must we forgive other people. Forgiveness is essential if a person desires to be like Jesus.
You Must Pray
There are many times, even daily, when we need to pray. Unfortunately, there can be many times when we become anxious and forget to pray. We need to make an important decision, as the occasion arises, to pray for our finances or for our failing health issues. What shall we always do? 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 17 gives us God's answer. Christians should always pray without ceasing. As they pray they should use God's word to guide them. Always learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to your prayers. God's word always gives confidence and assurance to the prayers that we offer. We will, undoubtedly, have God's wonderful answers to our prayers when we are obedient and strengthened through God's word.
Always Be Faithful
There is no person so persistent in faithfulness as a child of God who is committed to be like Jesus. We learn about faithful children of God from Hebrews chapter 11. Without walking by faith it is impossible to please God; to bring honour and glory to His holy name. In chapter 11 verse 6 we are informed that whoever comes to God and desires to be like their Lord and Saviour, must believe that the Lord is the only true God and that all things were created by and for Him. Those people who follow Him, believe that He rewards their faithfulness by being diligent, in the things that the Lord has given them to do.
Don't Be a Slacker!
God desires that we will all keep on His chosen way so that after we have completed our earthly walk, we will enter His eternal rest. Diligent people will appreciate the profound importance of Hebrews chapter 4 verses 9 to 11. Always find out what God desires for your life and He will then show you the way to achieve His goals. Everyone who obeys God and His word will be able to enter into His rest. At the end of their earthly days they will be able to rest from their fleshly stresses and torments. They then become like their Father in heaven, who has already entered His rest. Christians must make every effort to enter the Lord's rest. All who obey Him are well able to enter His rest when they only labour following His plans and purposes for them. Those who don't enter His rest keep on struggling to do their own thing! They become just like those Hebrews who disobeyed God and subsequently died in the wilderness. Never be a slacker but a diligent worker always obeying and doing what God has planned for your earthly life.
Look for the Coming of the Lord
Every Christian should look forward, with joy, to the coming of the Lord. This day has come, already, for millions of God's children, over the past two thousand years. Every day many saints go up to meet the Lord from countries all around the globe and they are able to abide with Him, in His rest, for evermore. Saints, those chosen children of the Lord for eternal righteousness, must learn to develop and keep developing holy and purified lives. The importance of having a pure life, in Christ, is told to us when we read 1 John chapter 3 verses 2 and 3. We are already children of God and when He appears we will be like Him. All who confidently have this hope in Him desire and willingly work towards living a purified life, holy and blameless in Him. We continually read the word and as the Holy Spirit directs us, we allow God to purify our life styles, so that our very being will be to conform to His will and purposes. This is a lifetime ambition and effort, in Him, but it can not just be through our own efforts.
Real Christians Are Overcomers
You are an overcomer in Christ. Everyone who is truly born of the Holy Spirit, is an overcomer. In our life we overcome our fleshly desires, the worthlessness of the world around us and the subtle deceptive practices of Satan and his demonic hordes. We read and acknowledge His overcoming power, in us, when we read 1 John chapter 5 verse 4. Our overcoming power is through the revelation knowledge of God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit. Keep on desiring to be like Jesus and be ready, in Him, for His triumphal return for you, as one of His chosen saints! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

The Greatest Name
Without any shadow of doubt by far the greatest person who has ever lived on earth, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God the Father's only Son. He alone created all the stars and planets and all the natural creation upon earth. This includes all land and oceans and all animals, birds and fish. His greatest creation was and is the creation of every human baby that has ever been born. He has guided mankind through His great inventions and above all shown His great love for all people. This He did by redeeming them from their fallen state and giving them the opportunity of eternal life in heaven.
Our Strong Tower
All that are saved, born again children of God, have his wonderful protection from the violence and deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. We read about this complete protection from Proverbs chapter 18 verse 10. The name of Jesus is a strong tower of wisdom and overcoming power. Only those who love and serve Jesus are His righteous ones. These people run to the Lord and His word. In an evil, confused and deceitful world the Lord is their safe hiding place from all that belongs to Satan and his demons. In this world, safety in the Lord, is the only sure protection for mankind.
Christians Have God Given Rights
We read about the mighty privilege of being a child of God from John chapter 1 verse 12. Jesus Christ died on the Cross at Calvary so that every single person who has ever lived could be redeemed, from the penalty of their sins. This was through the Lord's shed blood, on their behalf. Jesus gave all believers the right to become children of God. Every believer becomes an elected person and immediately they accept and follow Jesus Christ. At that point they have become inheritors of eternal life and all of God's wonderful blessings.
Faith in His Name
No one can be saved unless they are willing to accept, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their own personal Lord and Saviour. It must be by faith in His name and in His word, alone. This we read from Acts chapter 3 verse 16. When you ask the Lord to take care of your life it is so essential to know that He answers your requests. When we need healing or finances or any personal breakthroughs we simply ask and believe that He answers our prayers. It is always faith in His mighty name that always brings us His results. Listen to Him, that is believe in Him and His word. This enables us to know we have the answer that is His will and that is perfect and complete. The man at the temple gate walked as a result of believing, by faith, in the name of Jesus, that the Lord would heal him.
Assurance of Salvation
Our full assurance of eternal salvation is found when we read and accept the truth of Acts chapter 4 verse 12. Salvation for forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life can only be found in and through Jesus Christ. No other religion or cult can really teach us or know about eternal life. No other name is given to mankind except Jesus Christ. As we read God's word, the Holy Bible and personally accept its truth for our life, we are able to be saved. There is no alternative salvation. People must become born again Christians no matter which country they live or eventually, they will go to hell, forever!
Everyone Will Be Subject to Jesus Christ.
We read about the awesome and complete power, that God the Father, has given to His Son, Jesus over all of mankind. We read this important information from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 19 to 23. The Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead and gave Him supreme authority over all creation. God the Father then seated Jesus Christ at His right hand: this is the real source of all power and authority. Jesus was given this rule not only in this world but also in that which is to come. He was also given supreme authority over all His born again children. His children are the body of Christ, the only true and faithful church on earth.
Be Established in the Lord
Reading and meditating upon Colossians chapter 2 verses 6 to 8, we realise how essential it is to call upon and rely on the name of the Lord. We are to daily walk with Him confessing and applying the revelation knowledge of God's word, revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. In so doing we become established in His faith. We promote the characteristics of His life in our daily walk with Him. As we choose to do so we avoid being taken captive by the deceits and vain philosophy promoted by Satan and worldly knowledge and activities. We are not to be caught up in the fleshly deceptions of Satan and those who do not know Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour.
Suffering for Christ
We gloriously overcome the slanders of those who do not acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We read about this from 1 Peter chapter 4 verses 14 to 17. Those who are insulted and reviled for the name of Jesus, are blessed people. They have the glory of God resting upon their spirit and soul. However, we must never suffer for being a murderer or a thief or being troublesome to other people, for in these matters we do not bring any honour, to God's holy name but rather we suffer that which we deserve. We should suffer for wrong doing. However, we are not to be ashamed when we suffer for proclaiming God's word or being obedient to His will and purposes. Rather we are to rejoice for the opportunity to share in Christ's sufferings and to bring honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. The Lord judges and cleanses His own children so that they will learn to walk in His pure and holy ways. If God judges His children, for their iniquity, what will be the disastrous end for those who willingly and abusively reject God and His word?
Ever Listen and Obey the Lord
Those who are born again, blood bought, children of God must determine to always walk in His ways. They must honour the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Listen to and obey everything that the holy Spirit reveals to your spirit, to do. This will agree with His word, the Holy Bible. Keep calling on the Lord and He will always answer you!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

<![CDATA[All Are Sinners - Blog 320 - April 6th 2024]]>Sat, 06 Apr 2024 05:27:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/all-are-sinners-blog-320-april-6th-2024Picture

Why You Are a Sinner
Every human being begins life after contraception in the mother's womb. After about or just before nine months everyone enters this world corrupted by sin and Satan's lies and deceitful ways. The only sinless being who lived His life on earth, was Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Adam and Eve, the first created beings, were also perfect and god like, in the beginning. Adam was given his authority, as ruler of this earth, by God. However, in the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Eve into eating fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which was in the centre of the Garden. God had allowed them to eat fruit from every other tree, but not this one. Adam also ate of the fruit. Immediately, their inner being or spirit, became corrupted. They disobeyed God so sin then entered the world through them. They had inherited a sin nature and its effects spread abroad throughout all of God's perfect creation so that all creation had now departed from God's original plan and it was now a fallen world subject to decay and death. Every child that has been born from Cain and Abel onwards, the offspring of Adam and Eve, now possessed this fallen, sinful nature. People become sinners as soon as they are born and as a result, all mankind needs redemption.
Only Sinners Can Repent
We learn when reading Matthew chapter 9 verse 12 and 13 the reason why Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth. Firstly, He came down to give compassion to all who were in distress and lost. Secondly, He came to save those sinners, who knew they were lost and were willing to repent. Any unbeliever who does not recognise that they are also lost and that they are also sinners, in need of repentance, can never be saved. They do not realise their need of salvation nor do they recognise that their foolish unrighteous ways are at enmity with God's holiness and righteousness. Blessed are all those who know that they are truly sinners and are lost, for they are the ones who will truly be saved and inherit eternal life.
The Lost Sheep
Jesus answered the self righteous Pharisees through the parable of The Lost Sheep. We read about this from Luke chapter 15 verses 4 to 7. A shepherd had a hundred sheep and one became lost. When he found the lost sheep he put the lamb on his shoulders and carried it back home and called his friends together and they had a great party rejoicing together, because the shepherd had found the one that was lost. In heaven there is greater rejoicing over one sinner that is born again than over the ninety nine who are already saved. How highly the Lord regards the salvation of those who are lost! We, too, must have the same regard for all those we know, even daily, who are lost at this moment, to eternal salvation.
Jesus Died for All
What a mighty verse of scripture we find in John chapter 3 verse 16. The Father so loved all of His creation, that are made in His image, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die as a sacrifice for their sins. This sacrifice enabled all of mankind, every single person, to be redeemed and forgiven through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus, on the Cross at Calvary, on their behalf. Whoever believes on Him and His word, the Holy Bible, will never perish but will have eternal life.
No One is Righteous
No one, in themselves, whether they be king, president, prime minister, archbishop, apostle, prophet or even an evangelist, is righteous in themselves. We learn about this all embracing fact from Romans chapter 3 verses 10 and 11. No one can meet God's righteous standard until they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and are willing to repent of their sins. When they do so they obtain not only forgiveness of their sins but also the free gift of eternal life. Their spirit is recreated and made holy and becomes god like and is able to communicate with God, through the Holy Spirit, the third member of the godhead or Trinity. In ourselves, not matter what seemingly wonderful deeds that we may perform, they do not really help us to understand God and His ways nor even know about or want to know God's ways. If we yield to the Holy Spirit's promptings, to our spirit to repent, we will truly know God and be saved.
Everyone Is a Sinner
Without giving your life to Jesus Christ you remain a sinner. Everyone who does not repent of their sins can not be forgiven and therefore they remain a sinner, before God. This we are told in Romans chapter 3 verse 23. All who have sinned, since the fall, in the Garden of Eden and have not repented, remain sinners. Their destination, sooner or later, is damnation in hell, with Satan, rather than eternal life, with God, in heaven.
Are You the Greatest Sinner?
We read about those who are the greatest sinners, from the information supplied in 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 15. Jesus Christ came to save sinners and give them eternal life. All who truly repent, become like Paul the apostle. They are sorry for their sins, which are primarily against God and His word. The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, righteousness and judgement and when they realise that they themselves, are just as much, the chief of sinners, and are really in God's eyes, just as bad as the worst criminals that ever lived, they begin to realise the enormity of their sins. After all sin is ultimately against God and God's righteousness rather than against anyone or anything else.
Walk in His Truth
Every Christian must live and practice the truth that is found in 1 John chapter 1 verses 6 to 10. We cannot have real fellowship with the Lord if we constantly live in the lies and deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. To be able to constantly walk in the truth of God's word and have real fellowship with the Lord we must be obedient to His will and purposes for our life. If we sin then quickly repent; the blood shed by Jesus Christ will cleanse us from all our sin, ever erasing the very guilt and stain of every iniquity we have ever committed. However, if we refuse to acknowledge, that we have sinned, then God's truth is not in us and we allow our latest sin to remain. If we freely confess our sins Jesus is always faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Not to admit our sin makes Jesus to appear as a liar and His word, the Holy Bible, is not working in us.
No Longer a Sinner
The wonderful good news or gospel, for all who know they are sinners, is that once they genuinely repent of their sins and keep on walking in God's ways, they have become at that very moment, a child of the living God. They are redeemed forever and are no longer just an old sinner. Always keep reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying the knowledge of God's word to your on going circumstances. Keep on praying and continually communicating with your Father in heaven. Keep on thanking Him for your deliverance from the paths and guilt of sin with words of praise!

<![CDATA[Walk In the Light - blog 319 -March 30th 2024]]>Sat, 30 Mar 2024 03:51:21 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/walk-in-the-light-blog-319-march-30th-2024Picture
Light Overcomes Darkness
Sometimes we find ourselves in a literal dark place in life. At night we sometimes have to get up when all outside and inside is dark with little or no light. It is important not to stumble or fall. The world we live in is full of darkness and often hard to find the right way to go. There appears to be no light switch to lighten our way and show us what is the right thing to do. An electrical switch will make little or no difference to our pathway in life. However, there is a great light that can change our circumstances forever. This switch is available to us through the light of God's ways as revealed through His word, the Holy Bible. This knowledge is revealed by the Holy Spirit and brings the light to our spirit, our inner person.
Let There Be Light
God, Himself, brought His light into a dark world of chaos. God said: ”Let there be light and there was light.” This is recorded in Genesis chapter 1 verses 3 to 5. God willed and then spoke forth His creation into existence. God saw that the light was good and pleasing to Him. He sustained the light and separated it from darkness. This same great light happens to His children when they are born again. They are separated from the darkness of Satan's kingdom and immediately transferred into the light of the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. As His children become baptised by the Holy Spirit and keep feeding on His word they become filled with His light and the darkness of Satan's kingdom becomes dispelled.
The Lord Is Our Light
The Lord is our light and salvation according to Psalm 27 verse 1. God's light, through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible, produces eternal salvation, in all who are willing to believe. Those who know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour know they are God's chosen children and also know that they are inheritors of God's eternal life and His eternal blessings. They have, at their disposal, God's immeasurable power to lead them through their earthly life. Why should they be afraid of doubt, unbelief, sickness, poverty or personal relationships? In every situation they can obey the Holy Spirit's perfect instructions and have God's mighty victory through confessing and applying His word over every circumstance they confront.
Christians Have Become God's Light
Every born again blood bought Christian is able to become a powerful shining light in this fallen world of darkness and decay. We obtain this wonderful understanding from Matthew chapter 5 verses 14 to 16. Our lives, lived through the directions of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Holy Bible, are able to become beacons of light in a world tossed and turned, by the intrigues of the flesh, the world and the devil. We are to pray for others and witness to the unsaved and tell them about God's great mercy and love. Jesus is the true light of the world and we, as His children, must radiate who He is to all who are downtrodden and dying spiritually, emotionally and physically. We must shine out God's gospel of truth in the darkness, to all who are willing to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Those who are willing to believe and repent become children of the living God.
A New Life of Light
John chapter 1 verses 4 to 9 emphatically informs us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is our source of light and life. Without His life in us, we are spiritually dead. Not only that but everyone who lives their life without His life in them lives in perpetual darkness. In Him, alone, in the Godhead, is the only source of spiritual light. The light of God dispels the darkness of the world. Unfortunately most people, even when they have come to know the light of God's truth and righteousness, prefer to walk in the darkness of Satan's lies and deceit. John, the apostle, lived on into the revelations of the New Testament and was commissioned by God, as an ambassador of God's grace and light. He was a witness of God's light of salvation so that all who believed on the Light, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, might be saved.
We Are in the Kingdom of God
Every person, from every nation, who is willing to believe and give their lives to Jesus Christ of Nazareth and repent of their sins, immediately, becomes a child of God and is transferred from the kingdom of darkness and begins walking as a transformed person, into the kingdom of light. We read about this transformation from Colossians chapter 1 verses 13 and 14. All born again people are released from living in the kingdom of Satan and his kingdom that rules over our flesh and the world system. Those, who believe, are redeemed through Christ's sacrifice of Himself: this was for the entire world, on the Cross of Calvary. As we keep on praying, listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit and also by reading and confessing God's word, on a daily basis, we become sanctified and are changed, spiritually, from glory to glory. We have escaped the penalty for our sins and have been given, as a free gift, eternal life.
We Are a Chosen Race of People
1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9 has wonderful everlasting news for everyone who truly loves the Lord. God's children are a chosen race of royal priests. They are a consecrated nation of special people, unto the Lord, His children are God's own special possession, for eternity. His people have been chosen to represent God and as a witness to the world of His wonderful grace and love. God has called us out of the darkness of this world into His glorious light. Through His word, the Holy Bible, He has shared His redemptive plans and purposes, with His children. They no longer stumble in the darkness but have become possessors of His eternal life and light! Keep on walking in His marvellous light in the midst of a crooked and perverse world. You have become like Him, a light to the world! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Our Communication with God
In order to maintain a vibrant life channel with God, all Christians must spend quality time, in prayer. It is the very oxygen, our real life blood and connection with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Prayer needs to be consistent and based on God's word, the Holy Bible. Prayer must be a daily practice. It must also be a two way meeting place where we pray to God and our spirit hears from God. To be really effective, every Christian must be obedient and put into practice that which the Holy Spirit directs them to do. A true prayer channel must have the willingness of the participant to bring every plan or need before God's throne. Answers from the Lord will always be consistent with the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible.
Always Pray
No matter what the circumstance in life is, whether great or apparently small, always pray; always get divine advice. Jesus encourages us always to pray. This exhortation we read from Luke chapter 18 verses 1 to 5. Jesus told His disciples the parable of the unrighteous judge. He was a person who did not fear God nor respect his fellow man. However, there was a woman in desperate circumstances, who kept on coming to him to make a favourable decision, for her case. She desired justice and legal protection from her adversary. At first, the judge ignored the woman's pleas for help. However, because of her constant bothering him, for his help, he had to do something for her continual demand for justice. She was continually annoying him and in time, she would wear him out. She then asked for justice on her behalf. As we continue in prayer, our faithful God will also act on the righteous petitions, of His children. He will not delay in bringing His justice to your circumstances.
Keep on Asking and You Will Receive
Our petitions, before the Father's throne, are extremely important to our Father in heaven. This we read from Luke chapter 11 verses 5 to 13. Persistence in prayer is vital. As we persist we are showing our Father, in heaven, how much we really need His answer. It is a form of humbling ourselves and a recognition that we can't solve the problem by ourselves. Jesus told His disciples, in a parable, the story about a visitor who arrived unexpectedly at midnight, at his friend's place. The man then went to his neighbour and asked for three loaves of bread. The neighbour then replied “ Don't trouble me! The door is shut and my children are with me in bed. I cannot rise and give it to you!” However though he wouldn't rise he did give him the three loaves because of the persistence of his neighbour. In fact he will give him as many as he needs. We must keep on asking and our Father will give us what we need. We must keep on seeking and keep on knocking until the door is opened that supplies our need. Everyone that does so will receive whatever they require. If we know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will our Father in heaven, supply what we need!
Pray to the Father in Jesus' Name
We learn about praying to the Father in Jesus' name from John 14 verses 13 and 14. Whatever we ask in Jesus' name the Lord will answer us. Every prayer request must always be in line with God's word. When we pray in this manner, God the Father becomes glorified when we acknowledge His Son, Jesus Christ. Everything that is very worthy, in Jesus' name, God the Father, will do it.
Make Your Prayer Requests with Thanksgiving
We are encouraged to always make our supplications, or our prayers to God, in faith and we are not to be anxious or fearful. We learn this from Philippians chapter 4 verse 6. All doubt and unbelief comes from Satan. We must be careful of wrong thoughts, speech or actions, that they will be broken off and resolved when we pray. God will always answer our requests and fulfil his righteousness by doing so. Everything we have in life, must be full of thanksgiving to God for His goodness towards us. You can always pray silently or openly for yourself, family members, people at church or people at the shopping centre or on the train or any means of travel. God always hears and answers our prayers.
Prayer Must Be Continual and in the Spirit
We learn from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18 the importance of continual prayer. How many wonderful deeds have been wrought because people learned to pray regularly. We are encouraged to pray for all God's saints with whom we fellowship and know about. Not only do we pray in our native language but it is also very important to pray in heavenly tongues. Praying in the Holy Spirit from our spirit enables our prayers not to be understood by Satan or his demonic hordes. God's answers come directly to our spirit which then informs our mind of God's will and purposes.
Effectiveness of Our Prayers
James chapter 5 verses 15 to 17 informs us about the wonderful effectiveness of the prayers of faith filled children of God. We can all pray the prayer of faith, based on God's word, for ourselves and for other people. We must believe, when we pray, that God's word, the Holy Bible, is the real source of divine healing. All Christians have been made righteous through the cleansing power of Christ's shed blood and the Cross of Calvary. We have Elijah, from the Old Testament, as an example of amazing prayer results. Elijah was a man with a like human nature to ours. He prayed that it would not rain for three and a half years. He then prayed that it would rain after which the drought ceased and the rain fell.
Keep Faithfully Praying
Every born again child of God is able to partake of the God given blessing of prayer. Learn verses of scripture that enable you to pray with greater power and assurance. Be always constant and vigilant in prayer. Confess and apply the word of God to your prayers. This will enable you to have greater faith, in believing God will answer your prayers and that what you pray for is truly through faith in God and His word. His faith combined with the answers to your prayers will result in powerful and complete resolutions to your prayers. Please, keep on praying with faith filled prayers and always expect God's mighty answers! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are Seated - blog 317 - March 16th 2024]]>Sat, 16 Mar 2024 03:56:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-seated-blog-317-march-16th-2024Picture
Be Seated
To be seated is to be ready, not to be anxious, but also to be prepared and to know and to be confident that you are in the right place, at the right time. Christians have their total confidence in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Right now and into the eternal future, their peace is secure. They are not worried or concerned by the strife occurring in the darkness in the world around them. God's children have escaped the snares of the flesh, the world and the devil. Their lives are full of God's transcending peace. They desire to do God's will and purposes and nothing else.
Christ's Spirit Dwells in You
According to Romans chapter 8 verse 11 the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, lives in our born again spirit. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead, and as a result, the spirits of His blood bought children, were born again. At the moment that we accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we were also raised with Him, from the dead. Our spirit was made alive, forever. The Holy Spirit that dwells in our spirit, enables us to have God's eternal life.
Have an Enlightened Spirit
Our inner person needed to be enlightened by the power of the Holy Spirit, according to Ephesians chapter 1 verses 18 to 23. Our cherished hope is our divine guarantee giving us our confident expectation of the rich and glorious inheritance we have, in Christ. As we realise the unlimited and surpassing greatness of His spiritual power we are enabled, through Him, to appropriate part of His wonderful powers, while on earth. Always be devoted to dedicated prayers for all situations, as the Holy Spirit supplies His revelation knowledge, to your spirit. Each day keep on obeying the Holy Spirit's directions, to your spirit and then your spirit to your soul. Continually keep on learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to all your circumstances. God's resurrection power was exhibited, in Jesus Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and then through all His believing children, throughout the past 2,000 years. Jesus Christ has all power and dominion. He is the head of the church and we are His body. This dominion is over the world age of this day as well as the world to come. Everything is subject to Christ's dominion. This empowerment is also given to His body, the church, as they are willing to receive and apply it. He is the fullness, as the head of the church and His children of believers, the church, is His body, who always need to follow their head.
Raised and Seated with Christ.
When Christ arose from the dead so did every born again blood bought child of God. We read about this from Ephesians chapter 2 verses 6 to 8. Not only were we resurrected to eternal life with Jesus Christ, but we are now already seated, with the Lord, in the heavens. We are already seated at the right hand of the Father. In the ages to come all of God's children will be shown as the trophies of the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His great grace. This grace, at the moment, only resides in earthly vessels but then we will be the eternal beings of God's righteousness. It is through His grace that our redemption is already complete. His grace has enabled us to be delivered from the fury and righteous judgement of God's wrath. We have been saved through His faith working through our spirit, so that we have gained eternal life. None of it is through our own righteousness nor our own effort. It is only through our willingness to accept the gracious gift of God's eternal redemption, on our behalf.
Your Past Is Forgotten
You were saved when you were in the complete deadness of your sins. When you believed and repented you became a new creature in Christ. You were made eternally alive and freely forgiven of all your sins. It is a gift. You did not have to work for it. This we read about in Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 to 15. All your sins, including all your evil thoughts, your bad speech and foolish actions, were cancelled out, by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, on the Cross of Calvary. Your certificate of spiritual death, with its legal demands, which were hostile against you, were set aside and its power broken off and nailed to the Cross at Calvary. As well as our sins being paid for Christ disarmed and defeated Satan and all the supernatural forces that had ruled over us and kept us all in bondage. Jesus made a public example of them, parading them as spiritual captives, for all to see. They became captives of His triumphal procession before all in heaven and in hell and to those on earth, willing to believe. His triumph on the Cross was complete, for all eternity.
No Longer Remembered
We read from Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12 about the complete forgiveness of our sin. God has been so merciful to all His creation, to all who will accept His marvellous gift of redemption. This is His great gift of grace to you. Every wickedness that you or I have committed has been completely forgiven and forgotten. In fact, every intended and foolishly committed sin, in all the time mankind has lived on earth, has been forgiven. God is so merciful and gracious! He has given each person complete authority, in Him, to destroy the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. Even more remarkable is the eternal fact that our heavenly Father, indeed the entire Godhead, has not only forgiven us our sins but also forgotten them. They will not be remembered against us, those that believe, forevermore! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Be My Disciple
To follow someone means that you accept what they stand for and who they are and you are willing to put it into action. You desire to be like them and put into daily practice what they believe and what they do. They and their way of living becomes the role model for your life. In every day life there are people who are often leaders in their field of endeavour who become role models of society. Often they are considered people worthy enough to be imitated for their integrity and performance. For all born again blood bought Christians our role model must always be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We learn to become disciples and follow Him and His word, the Holy Bible.
Matthew Becomes a Disciple
Every working day, Matthew, sometimes referred to as Levi, sat in the tax office responsible in some manner for the collection of tax money, on behalf of the ruling authorities. We read in the scriptures, that Jesus of Nazareth, had just healed a man of paralysis. He was now able to walk and the people were marvelling at the miracle and were giving glory to God. About this time Jesus called Matthew, from his daily occupation, to follow Him and become one of His personal chosen apostles. We read about this incident from Matthew chapter 9 verse 9. Immediately, Matthew obeyed and left his former task behind and followed Jesus. All Christians must learn to do the same and be obedient to whatever the Lord calls them to do.
Follow the Lord, Today
Those who wish to be genuine followers of Jesus must be willing to leave their own plans and goals behind and learn to follow in the footsteps of their Lord. They must be willing to leave behind the deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil and take up their cross or their burden or the special work God has given them to perform. We learn about this from Mark chapter 8 verses 34 to 38. We may be as young as eighteen years of age or as old as seventy years or more when the Lord calls us to a specific service. Whatever the task we must be willing to follow with all His strength and the ability He provides for us. If we are not obedient we can lose out big time! We must follow His commands so that the gospel can be preached to others. There is no substitute for not obediently following the Lord. If we are ashamed of following Him and His work in this sinful world then He will be ashamed of us, when He returns for all His chosen disciples, in His heavenly glory.
His Real Disciples
By reading Luke chapter 14 verses 26 and 27 we learn about the important qualities that are required of those, who follow Jesus Christ. In the above passage God does not tell us to really hate our family members but we must learn to put the Lord before our families or anyone else. This also includes our own life desires and ambitions. Our God must have the foremost place in our lives. In so doing we become His true disciples. We willingly carry out the things that the Lord has created us to do. Our ministry is not only our cross or reason for being but also our greatest blessing. We must always believe that the Holy Spirit and Jesus, the Living Word of God, always know what is best for us and we must conform our life consistently to God's will and purposes.
Always Obey God
We learn from Acts chapter 5 verses 27 to 32 that Peter and John had been brought before the Sanhedrin or Jewish High Court to be tried for preaching and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. They had been previously instructed not to preach in this name and had been locked up in prison for doing so. Peter replied, in his defence, that they must obey God rather than men. This understanding must be applied by all Christians that only when rulers, try to place themselves above the authority of God, should they resist the governing authorities. In recent times, this has happened to Christians, in Communist controlled regimes. The Lord's apostles have become His witnesses and servants of who He is. Revelation knowledge and special healing anointing have been given to them so that the truth of God's righteousness could become known to all who are willing to believe.
Keep Following in God's Ways
If we prefer our own life and way then we will end up in spiritual death and eternal damnation in hell. This is important information revealed to us from reading John chapter 12 verses 25 and 26. Those people who regard their true life as being in Christ and walk obediently in His ways, gain life everlasting. We must faithfully follow the Lord for His way is righteous and He enables us to live a sanctified life, well pleasing to God! Christians must follow, without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Him and His word, the Holy Bible. They will suffer and may even die for His name's sake. Those who follow in His footsteps will live with Him, forever. On life's way we must be willing to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our circumstances and listen and be obedient to do what the Holy Spirit reveals to our spirit, our real inner person.
Put to Death the Old Self
We are instructed in Colossians chapter 3 verses 1 to 10 to put to death the things of the flesh that hinder our spiritual growth and to put on the new person, in Christ. All born again believers have been resurrected, when Christ was resurrected, to eternal life in Him. We are to habitually keep our lives focused on Jesus and on heavenly things. We must not have our aims set only on earthly things but chiefly on the eternal. We are to deprive Satan and his demons of the evil desires of the flesh, the world and the devil. It is because of unrighteousness that the wrath of God is coming upon every evil person and every evil activity. We once walked in the ways of the world but now we live our life in Christ. We have forsaken and must keep forsaking the things of the flesh such as anger, rage, malice and slander as well as obscene and vulgar language. We must put on and keep putting on His likeness and His ways. To death with the old self – our mind, will and emotions and bad bodily practices! We are to put on the new person created in the very likeness of Christ and His revealed word. Every day follow in His ways, putting on His love, His joy, His peace and His righteousness. We do this through the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the revelation of the word of God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Be Conformed to God's Will
Mankind is a tripartite being composed of a spirit, soul and a body. His spirit is the only part of his being that can be recreated, after repentance of sins and acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They thereby become capable of communicating with God, through the Holy Spirit. The soul of a person consists of their mind for thinking, their emotions for expressing their feelings and their will for decision making, and of course their body, their exterior house. Our will is the part of our soul that chooses and determines our pathway in life. It chooses what we will say and what we will do. The will enables everyone to make decisions, particularly, whether they will follow God's will and His purposes or do their own thing in life! Will they be willing to follow God's will and purposes or else follow the way of their flesh, the world and the devil? God has given every person their own free will to choose or reject His will and purposes.
Pray for God's Kingdom to Come
Part of the Lord's Prayer includes the words that Jesus desired that the Father's will be done. These words are in Matthew chapter 6 verse 10. This desire is that His kingdom in heaven be also fully accomplished on earth, as well. His will and purposes can be done right now in the obedient lives of those who are His born again children, on earth.
Jesus Willingly Went to the Cross
In Luke chapter 22 verse 42 we read about the great cup of anguish and pain, filled with all the sin and iniquity of all mankind, that had been given to Jesus by His Father. Jesus asked that the incredible suffering that He was about to endure, would be taken from Him. It was the terrible cup of God's wrath that had been filled with the sin of man's rebellion against God. Whatever the tremendous cost, Jesus accepted the cup in order to do His Father's will and achieve God the Father's divine purpose. Jesus' final decision was not that His will be done but that the will of His Father would be accomplished. Doing God's will must be the decision that all who love the Lord, must make, in life. It must be God's will before our own will.
God's Will Enables You
Because God's will for our life, is perfect, His will makes it possible for our life to be a righteous life well pleasing to God the Father. This is what Jesus did, so must we. We read the words of the Lord from John chapter 5 verse 30. Jesus did nothing on His own initiative and we must do likewise if we desire to please the Lord. What Jesus heard is the same as what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit to do. Jesus did what was wise and just because He obeyed the will of His Father and did not do His own will. The Father had sent Jesus into the world just as He sends us out into the world. To be successful we must do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do. This will always align with God's word, the Holy Bible.
God Works in Us
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are able to do a mighty everlasting work, in our lives, as we are obedient and allow God to perform His will and purposes. This we learn from Philippians chapter 2 verse 13. Our will and purposes and our physical strength, by themselves, are highly ineffective. It is God, in us, who is able to completely achieve His will and purposes in our life. He is constantly strengthening and energising that which is His will and purposes. Allowing the Lord to do His mighty works, in our life, not only fulfils who we are but above all, gives great pleasure to the Father.
God's Goodness in His Son
The fullness of the eternal majesty of the Father, is fulfilled in the goodness and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are informed of these wonderful facts in Colossians chapter 1 verses 19 and 20. Jesus has the sum total of the Father's divine essence, residing in Him. No wonder He could say with great authority to Thomas, “ Those who have seen Me have also seen the Father.” All of the Father's attributes, perfection and powers, are found in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Learn to Do God's Will
We learn the foundational reason why Jesus was willing to carry our His Father's will. We read this from Hebrews chapter 10 verse 9. He was obedient to His Father, so must we also be willing. In so doing He completed the Old Covenant or Testament and through His death and resurrection, initiated the New Covenant or Testament, that was ratified through His shed blood. In so doing He atoned and cleansed away the handwriting of God's laws and nailed them to the Cross at Calvary. We are now able, by repenting and accepting Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Saviour, to be cleansed and freed, from our burden of sin. Those who believe and accept are able to be fully reconciled to God. We have become His eternal children, forever. We are now partakers of the New Covenant and are no longer under the bondage of the Old Covenant.
Rewards for Doing God's Will
Look! This world and all its glamour and awards are quickly passing away. 1 John chapter 2 verse 17 informs us that all the shameful pursuits and ungodly acts, in this world, are coming to a crashing and fearful end. However, those who do the will of God and carry out His purposes, live on, forever. There is no real 'gravy train' in doing the things of this world. Do God's will and the whole of your life will begin to make sense! Your whole being will become completely fulfilled in the Lord.
Listen, Read and Be Fulfilled
Every Christian must read and where possible learn a portion or verse of God's word, the Holy Bible, every day. Keep doing it each morning before you get into the day's chores and also at night, before settling down to sleep. Listen carefully to the Holy Spirit, confirming to your spirit, God's will and purposes for each day. Share together with your marriage partner or a friend so that others can also have confirmation of what the Holy Spirit is proclaiming. Always be obedient to what the Holy Spirit tells you to do. Each morning ask the Lord for a new infilling of the Holy Spirit. This will give you extra strength and guidance for the new day. Whatever you learn from the Holy Spirit it will never be in disagreement with God's word. Rather it will always confirm it. Keep praising the Lord constantly, each day. Rejoice in His goodness towards you and your family, friends and other people. Read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word on a daily basis to your current circumstances. Always be willing to follow God's will for your life and you will become a fully successful Christian, in the Lord! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

You Are More Than a Conqueror
All born again, blood bought Christians, inherit, through the Holy Spirit, their recreated spirit, which is enabled to become, in Christ, more than a conqueror. We are well able to conquer the flesh, the world and the devil. This also includes the ability, of our spirit, to subdue bad thoughts, uncouth speech and harmful and violent actions. Our body, as well as our mind, our will and our emotions, need to become subservient to our recreated spirit. In order to do so our spirit must remain obedient to the Holy Spirit's revelation and knowledge that reveals the word of God, the Holy Bible. This needs to become a continual victorious practice. If you sometimes fail, repent and then keep on prevailing.
The Foundation for Victory
The overcomer's victory is founded firmly on God's word, notably such as Roman's chapter 8 verses 35 to 39. Christians, who are doing God's will, are daily confronted with the devil's problems and insults; They are like sheep going to the slaughter. However, we can win overwhelming victory over all of Satan's onslaughts through Christ, who loves us. This victory is so great and marvellous that neither death or demons, nor earthly rulers, nor anything present nor threatening nor things nor powers present that can come, as well as no amount of created space or creature will be able to separate us from God's love, in Christ.
You Live by Faith
A true Christian must base their faith not on their life experiences but only by faith, in the name of Jesus, who is the word of God. This important information occurs in Acts chapter 3 verse 16. It is the name of Jesus which gives us our strength and power to believe in His word. His faith then comes through the Holy Spirit to our spirit and then our spirit relays this faith to our mind so that we can truly believe and understand. This faith is so important for all our daily circumstances. It includes our health, our necessary needs as well as our well being towards all who are willing to believe.
Your Eternal Life
To gain entry to eternal life you must first repent of your sins and then truly believe on Jesus and his word. John chapter 3 verse 16 informs us about God's great love for everyone and His wonderful creation. The Father sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that all who genuinely repent and believe in Him, should be saved. Those who trust in Him, as their Lord and Saviour, will never die spiritually but have eternal life. There is a stern warning in John chapter 3 verse 18. We read that those who reject Him are already judged. They will not be saved but will have eternal damnation in hell.
Believers Can Be Healed
Everyone that is a child of God is well able to be healed: spirit, soul and body. It is always God's will for all people and particularly, His children, to be healed. This means spirit, soul and body. We read about how Jesus dealt with healing from Acts chapter 10 verse 38. The Father God anointed His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, with the Holy Spirit and power. Jesus went about teaching and doing good. He healed all who were sick and were oppressed by the devil and demonic activity. In like manner, God's children are anointed to heal and help others.
Christians Must Be Lovers
We learn about God's greatest commandment from John chapter 15 verses 12 to 14. Christians are to love one another and unselfishly seek the best for others just as God has loved them. Those that have great love for others are willing to lay down their lives for others, that means they willingly put others before themselves. If we obey God's commands, particularly concerning love, we are indeed God's friends.
Love Begets Forgiveness
As God's children we take on the bond of perfection which is available through God's love. This we learn from Luke chapter 7 verse 47. We are told that those who are forgiven much love much. They realise how much they have been forgiven. This bond of perfection enables us to have unity with our fellow brothers and sisters. In doing so we seek the best for others rather than just ourselves. We learn to graciously carry the burdens of others. Every time we fail in word or deed we are to quickly and willingly forgive each other. This may be among our family members, relatives, friends, church members or our school or work mates. Any complaint we must readily forgive. Why is that so? Because just as Christ has forgiven us, in the same manner we are to forgive other people.
Christians Must Be Diligent Workers
To be an effective Christian you need to be diligent, every day. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 informs us that without faith you cannot please God. However, our faith must always be joined together with diligent effort. We must believe that God is and that He truly rewards all who diligently seek Him. We must be diligent in our prayer life as well as listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit. Each day learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all of your everyday situations.
Our Inner Strength
Each day our spirit is eternally strengthened as we seek God's will and purposes for our life. We read about this wonderful news from Romans chapter 8 verses 26 and 34. Our inner person or spirit connects with the Holy Spirit, and gives us the knowledge and wisdom of God the Father and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit helps us in our fleshly weaknesses to overcome any earthly problem. Often we don't know how to pray but the Holy Spirit reveals the reality of our problems and how to effectively find the perfect, God honouring, solutions. The Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groaning to deep for our human understanding or words. Jesus Christ, our eternal Lord and Saviour, through whose precious blood we are saved, also intercedes for us, at the right hand of God the Father.
Wonderful Blessings Through the Lord
Every Christian, who loves Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, is born again to everlasting life and blessings. They, because of repentance from their sins, are cleansed and made holy to serve the living God. Their spirit is recreated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit and they have become people capable of not only loving God but also being able to love other people. Like their master, Jesus Christ, they are fully capable of forgiving others of all their unkind or malicious words against them. What marvellous and wonderful blessings these attributes are for each born again Christian!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Cleansed and Empowered Through His Blood-2nd edition-Feb 19th 2024]]>Mon, 19 Feb 2024 02:24:28 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/cleansed-and-empowered-through-his-blood-2nd-edition-feb-19th-2024Picture
The Blood of Eternal Life
We read about the complete efficacy of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hebrews chapter 9 verses 12 to 14. Under the covenant of the Old Testament, the blood of goats and calves was used by the High Priest to merely cover the sins of the people. When Christ died on the Cross He shed His own perfect divine blood to cleanse away, not just cover our sins. He entered the Most Holy Place, one time only for the sins of all people obtaining eternal redemption for all who were willing to believe. If the blood of bulls and the ashes of an heifer, was sprinkled over all that was unclean, sanctifying and purifying the flesh, how much more shall Christ's pure divine blood purge and cleanse our consciences enabling us to serve the living God. When Satan brings a reminder of past sins to your conscience, then show Him that your sins are washed away by Christ's precious blood and remembered no more. The power of the blood of Jesus Christ destroys any power that Satan may try to bring against your mind or spirit.
The New Covenant
We learn about the New Covenant from Hebrews chapter 10 verses 16 to 18. God has made a new covenant or testament with His people. The new covenant contains His law of love written by the Holy Spirit upon the spirit and minds of His children. Through His redemptive covenant the Lord's precious blood has washed away all of mankind's sins and lawless deeds, even their premeditated evil and He remembers them no more. You are a pure and cleansed being before the throne of God. Yours and my sins have been remitted forever. This is a perfect and complete forgiveness and there is therefore no need for any further action on the part of mankind other than for their acceptance of His redemptive pardon on their behalf.
Never Have Contempt for the Blood
In Hebrews chapter 10 verse 29 we learn that must think very carefully about our acceptance or denial of Christ's pardon for our sins as a means of eternal redemption. Those who count the efficacy of the shed blood of Jesus Christ as a worthless thing and deliberately insult the Spirit of Grace will be denied forgiveness of sins and the entrance to eternal life in the presence of a gracious loving Father in Heaven. Those that do deny the power of the blood will be damned for all eternity.
The Blood Cleanses the Guilty Conscience
We must constantly walk in the light of God's word. This we learn from 1 John chapter 1 verse 7. To walk in the light is to constantly walk in the light as Jesus does. This means following carefully and obeying the Holy Spirit's directions through our spirit in light of God's word. In so doing we are able to have fellowship with all our born again brothers and sisters in the Lord. We live as Jesus lives and His shed blood cleanses our conscience from all sins which we often commit against other people, even our born again brothers and sisters. We are truly able to walk in His light because Jesus is the true light of the world.
Brought Near by His Blood
In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 13 we read that we are brought near by the blood of Christ. We once lived far off in darkness according to the course of this world. Satan and his demons were our masters in the kingdom of darkness. However, we have been translated by the wonderful grace of God, out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. Here we can abide safely as a branch of the Vine, while on earth and into eternity. The precious blood of the Lord has translated us from darkness to light and from evil to righteousness.
We Are Overcomers Through His Precious Blood
Revelation chapter 12 verse 11 informs us about our eternal victory through the Blood of the Lamb and our consistent daily confession of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. His blood along with our confession demonstrates the power of His blood which enables our victory and causes Satan and every demon to be put to flight in terror for now and what awaits them in Hell. When a sinner sincerely repents of their sins the blood of Jesus cleanses their guilty conscience and they no longer have a guilt filled spirit. We are free forever more. Our inner person has become completely renewed and we are children of God forever. There is great power in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for all who accept and believe. We have overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Christian's are Cleansed by Christ's Blood
Our enemy, Satan, is always trying to convince God's children, that they are not good enough to really be children of Almighty God. This is done by planting false thoughts in their minds and bringing back situations concerning things that were wrong in the past. The good news is that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins and for everyone in the entire world. All who have repented of their sins have had their past iniquities washed away by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit then came to reside in their inner person or spirit and from that very moment, they became a child of God, by faith in Jesus, destined for eternal life and everlasting glory.
The Cleansing Power
The Lord invites us in Isaiah chapter 1 verse 18 to come to God and reason with Him. Your sins may appear so great that you cannot overcome them and by ourselves we cannot do so. Those dreadful thoughts we've had and those ugly words we have spoken and even acts of evil which we have committed can be made white as snow through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on our behalf on the Cross of Calvary. Those thoughts, speech and actions that are too bad even to be discussed will be made as white as wool.
Our New Covenant
We learn from Luke chapter 22 verse 20 that all born again Christians have a new covenant that replaced the Old Testament covenant. This new covenant was and is sealed eternally, by the precious blood shed by the Lord. It is this covenant that has given us eternal redemption and is for all of God's children, who have repented. They have become one of God's beloved children. All Christians must realise that the Lord's blood was shed specifically for them and everyone who is willing to believe.
The Real Church Is Purchased with Christ's Blood
All church leaders must fully recognise that the Holy Spirit is the real overseer or bishop of God's people and not men. This we read about in Acts chapter 20 verse 28. God's people are to be shepherded or pastored by wise men appointed by the Holy Spirit, who understand the important position the Lord has given them and not be involved with the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. The true church of God has been purchased and redeemed by the blood shed on the Cross and not by the edicts and mandates of mankind.
We Are Now Righteous Before God
Romans chapter 5 verses 9 and 10 informs us that we are justified or placed in right standing before God's throne by the acceptance of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Our salvation originates through Christ's precious blood and never by our own means. All who are estranged from Christ are His enemies. They neither know Him nor desire to accept Him. We have been reconciled to our Father in Heaven through the death and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are no longer enemies but have become His children. You and I are saved for eternal life and are now partakers of His eternal life.
Everything Is Reconciled by His Shed Blood
In Colossians chapter 1 verse 20 we learn that everything, in both heaven and earth, is reconciled to God by Christ's shed blood. This reconciliation through His shed blood, is available to make His perfect peace abound to all creation. No matter, where people, angels or demons reside, God is in control of the situation. Our task is to truly believe God's word when we read, meditate and confess it and apply God's word in obedient action, to the Holy Spirit's direction. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, are the peacemakers and Satan, and his demons and evil mankind, are the violent disturbers of the peace. Peace was announced by the angels at Christ's nativity and secured by the blood of Jesus when He rose triumphantly from the grave, over all His wicked enemies. He then gave those who would accept it His reconciliation of peace. These people were willing to walk in His word.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Satan Rules by Deception - February 10th 2024]]>Sat, 10 Feb 2024 04:31:41 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/satan-rules-by-deception-february-10th-2024Picture
Satan Is a Deceiver
Satan is an inveterate liar and all he does is done in deception. All who do not worship Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour live in his kingdom of darkness. This kingdom is founded on lies and is full of his deceptive ways. Those who follow him, without consideration for God and His ways, remain in spiritual darkness. They are deceived into either believing that there is no hell and eternal punishment and if there is a heaven, they will get there on their own merits. This means believing whatever they like as long as it agrees with their unregenerate spirit. God's word has no relevance in their thinking or their way of life.
First Deception of Mankind
We read about Satan's first effort in deceiving mankind from Genesis chapter 3 verses 1 to 7. Satan came into the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve, God's first created human beings, were living. He came into the Garden, in the physical form of a serpent, to deceive and seduce God's most wonderful creation, mankind. Coming in the deceptive guise of a serpent, Satan questioned Eve, the first lady, as to whether God had really told her that they should not eat fruit from any tree in the Garden. Eve replied that they could eat of the fruit of any tree except of the one in the centre of the Garden. If they ate fruit from that specific tree they would die spiritually and physically. Satan then lied to Eve that she would not die. However, he did inform her that she and Adam would become like God; knowing both good and evil. Eve looked again at the fruit on the tree and decided that it was good to eat. It would also give them greater wisdom. She then ate and shared the fruit with her husband, Adam. They became aware that they were now naked. Both of them then covered themselves with fig leaves, to cover their nakedness. The days of their innocence were over. They had deliberately disobeyed God. Sin had entered creation so that everything that God had created, was now in a fallen state. Only as people give their lives to Jesus Christ, can each individual's fallen nature be reclaimed through Christ's shed blood on the Cross at Calvary and the renewing of their spirit by the Holy Spirit.
Satan Incited David to Sin
Like Eve of earlier years David listened to his adversary, the devil, named Satan and gave the command to count the people of Israel. The account of this deception is found in 1 Chronicles chapter 21 verses 1 to 8. Joab, the leader of Israel's army, asked David to reconsider his decision. David overruled Joab's advice and as a result went ahead and counted his available men for battle, as well as the entire population of Israel. David listened to Satan's deceit rather than obeying God's command, not to count the people. As a result of David's disobedience God allowed a plague to come upon the men of Israel and seventy thousand of them, died. God then allowed an angel to destroy Jerusalem. David and his elders repented of their sin and covered their faces in sackcloth. David then acknowledged his sin before God, as he alone was the one, who really disobeyed the Lord's command and the people of Israel were regarded as innocent, of David's decision, to count the people. David then asked God if the Lord's hand could be against himself and that the people should be spared. Satan comes against everyone, particularly God's people, to try and destroy them. Always listen to what the Lord tells you and so be obedient and Satan's plans for your destruction and those of your family, will be thwarted.
Only Worship God
We learn, when reading Matthew chapter 4 verse 10, that we must only worship the Lord. Satan desires mankind to worship him, instead of God. Very few people directly worship Satan, yet because of man's inherent evil nature, so many practice his fallen ways. Jesus commanded Satan to leave when Satan tempted Him. Satan desired Jesus to worship him but when Jesus commanded Satan to leave, he had to go. Jesus, alone, is the supreme ruler of the universe, but at this moment, on earth, only His born again, blood bought children, acknowledge and worship Him as such.
Don't Try to Win in Your Own Strength!
Satan consistently endeavours to stop people listening to and obeying, the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals who Jesus is to mankind's spirit. He also convicts people of sin, righteousness and judgement. We read about his kingdom and about people's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit from Mark chapter three verses 28 and 29. We learn that Satan always promotes his deceitful and evil ways. No kingdom, earthly or spiritual, can be split into rebellious, warring factions and survive. Families can not survive turmoil if they fight each other. If Satan also is divided his power will be destroyed. In order to over power Satan and his evil plots in this world, no one can win unless it is through the word of God, the Holy Bible, and the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. When they do this they over power Satan and hi demons and all their evil works. We are far too weak to attempt to win such a battle, in our own strength, alone.
Don't Reject the Holy Spirit
All sins can and will be forgiven except the sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit and His power. Those people who do will be guilty of an everlasting, never to be forgiven, sin. Never attribute the power of God to Satan. If we do and keep on doing so we will end up in everlasting, inescapable hell.
The God of This World
The planet earth is part of the deceptive kingdom of darkness, ruled by Satan, the god of this world. We read about his deception over everyone who has yet, not heard about Jesus Christ and His kingdom of light. Others have rejected His saving grace and therefore miss out on heaven, big time! We are informed about Satan's kingdom of darkness and its effect on mankind's behaviour from 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 3 and 4. because of Satan's deceptive practices of blinding people's spiritual understanding, the preaching of the gospel often becomes hidden and not understood, by those who are perishing. Satan is called the god of this world who was
originally an archangel in heaven. He has deceived most people, for almost six thousand years, concerning the truth of worshipping and serving, the only true God. The minds and spirits of those who are perishing remain blinded by the fallen and spiritual world, controlled by Satan. They are blinded to the illuminating light of the glory of the gospel, of Christ's salvation.
Never Hold a Grudge
If we are hurt by a comment or action of another person always be ready to forgive, straight away. Never hold on to unforgiveness for it will always hurt you and others either immediately and certainly in the long haul. Unforgiveness hurts everyone concerned. We are instructed from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 26 and 27 never to give the devil an opportunity to block God's work or mess up our lives. We must never feed on resentment or be angry by thought, speech or action. Get rid of Satan's platform to hurt you and others by always seeking their forgiveness. Don't be proud but be godlike in your willingness to forgive.
Our Real Enemy
Satan has deceived every person, whoever lived, since the Garden of Eden. We read about our real enemy from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 11 and 12. Our real struggle is not against other people but it is against the rulers, against the powers and the world forces of the spiritual darkness of Satan and his demons. We are not to be engulfed by satanic deceit, corruption and the greed of this present age. We are also involved in combating the spiritual forces of darkness in the heavenly places. These powers are not only physical but also supernatural powers. Only, as we are strong in the Lord and His mighty power, can we really overcome the supernatural forces of the world, the flesh and the devil. Anything less than obedience to God and His victorious powers will only end up in our outright defeat.
Resist Satan in God's Almighty Power
Christians learn how to resist and overcome Satan's tactics when they apply God's word, as revealed to them, by the Holy Spirit, from 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8 and 9. Living in this world of Satan's dominion, with its deceit and corruption, Christians need to be well balanced and disciplined. Always be cautious and alert to Satan's schemes and plots. Our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. To Christians he only appears as a roaring lion. We are always to resist his deceptive approaches. All Christians are to be firm in their faith, rooted and established on the word of God, the Holy Bible and to be energised by the Holy Spirit's power. We must always be ready for his premeditated attacks but also realise that the same tactics, are not only being used against us but also against all our fellow brothers and sisters, around the world. We don't suffer alone but we can, in the name of Jesus, bind up Satan singly or together, when he tries to attack. Always be ready and armed and you'll not be surprised but you will confidently beat him and destroy his deceitful efforts in God's power, alone. Listen to and obey whatever the Holy Spirit directs you to do because Satan will always try to deceive you into disobeying God's best for you. This was just as he deceived Eve, thousands of years ago . Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[His Unshakeable Faith - February 2nd 2024]]>Fri, 02 Feb 2024 04:03:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/his-unshakeable-faith-february-2nd-2024Picture
His Faith Rules the Universe
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the almighty Trinity of God. Who together as one Holy Being, rule the universe from the eternal heavenly throne. They are in charge of all the affairs of mankind that are currently placed in their hands. As well, all circumstances, are overseen by Him. This situation continues on for yet a little while until all people and beings are judged at the white throne judgement. On this occasion the devil and his demonic beings and all of mankind who reject God's grace and love and His forgiveness, will be eternally judged. Because the names of these people are not found written, in the Lamb's Book of eternal life, they will be sent to everlasting hell in the never ending, lake of fire.
God Is the Creator
Our God has supreme faith so that when He foretells that something is about to happen it will be so, no matter what! Right at the beginning of the Bible, in the Old Testament, we read that the God, whom we worship, brought the whole universe into being, through the words that He spoke. This we read from Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 to 5. The amazing fact is that God, in the very beginning, created this world from nothing tangible except His faith, framed by His words. All this world and the heavens above were created through faith, by God's own creative words. All the world, had no form and was empty. It was absolutely dark, without light. The Spirit of God moved over this dark mass of land and waters. God's everlasting light shone upon this world and burst upon the newly created scene.
Having God like Faith
Our faith must be God like. How can it be God like? It is only possible when we base our faith on what it says in His word. This must be in accordance of revelation knowledge that the Holy Spirit gives our spirit and then our spirit gives our mind. This faith is completely unshakeable. Our faith can become so as we are willing to obey and learn from the Lord and His word. In scripture, we read that Jesus rebuked the demon that possessed the lunatic boy. His disciples were not able, at that time, to do so. The disciples asked Jesus why? Jesus told them His reply in Matthew chapter 17 verses 20 and 21. They only needed to have faith as a small mustard seed. This living faith is made alive by the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Those who say and pray are those whose faith grows, exceedingly. They are empowered to say to every mountain of fear, doubt, unbelief or need that it is to move and no longer be a hindrance and will be replaced by God' faith working in them. At all times it must be according to God's will and purposes. If you truly believe God's word any mountain in your life must move and be gone because you are replicating faith through His word. Accordingly, nothing will be impossible for you to do. Every demon, including Satan himself, will become subject to God's word, working through you. This kind of faith will be enabled to glorify the Father through the name of Jesus. This faith result will become manifest as His unshakeable faith.
True Faith Depends on God
We come to realise that all true faith must work in tandem with God and His will and purposes. It must come from the Father by the Holy Spirit revealing to our spirit, the dynamics of God's word. This we read from Matthew chapter 19 verse 26. As long as our faith depends on our mind, our will and our emotions, as well as our physical condition, not much of any real consequence is going to happen. The things which are of our spirit, by the Holy Spirit will always be possible. For those who are willing to believe God and His word, the impossible will become possible.
Many Scientists Are Wrong
Unfortunately many people in the scientific world have got creation understanding, quite wrong. Despite the fact that God emphatically states in His word, the Holy Bible, that God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son, created all things. They are quite wrong to believe the man made and devilish inspired foolish and unproved assumptions that evolution is true. After all everything may have begun with a big bang from gases that created themselves or even some evolutionary goo. It is assumed the gases in the big bang theory evidently came into existence of their own accord. We read in John chapter 1 verse 3 that Jesus Christ created all material things as well as the land and the seas. Nothing was created without the will and purposes of God's unshakeable faith. Man has fashioned and made all that he has designed from that which God has already created. Everything that man has came into being because man has used the raw material that God had already created. All was made from the very atoms and molecules that God had created. God's creation enabled man to shape many of the objects that he uses, where he lives. Everything was created by our all knowing, all seeing and all powerful God.
We Need God
By reading Acts chapter 17 verses 24 to 28 we learn that our God sustains all the universe and that we only live because He breathed into our lives and made us living beings. Our God has created the entire universe and allows us to be in partnership with Him. He created Adam and Eve as the first human beings. They were created in the image or the likeness of God and to be the start of the earthly family. Forget Neanderthal Man and all the silly figments of mankind's imagination. These man made creations are supposed to be part of the human evolutionary chain! Every person of every nation who has ever lived, is living now and will ever live upon planet earth, are descended from Adam and Eve. God knows and determines the appointed time and places of every empire that has ever existed as well as every nation and race of people that has ever existed or is sovereign, today. It is still true that the majority of Asian people live in Asia. The majority of white people live in Europe or countries colonised by Europeans and the majority of dark skinned people live in or come from Africa. These boundaries were set by God. Each person must seek the Father through Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour according to the working of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, in their lives. Everyone can only live and move and exist in God. They are to live and desire the Father as their God. In reality, if we believe God's word, He is never very far from everyone of us.
His Faith in Us
God's faith can and will begin to develop in us as we willingly, day by day, read, learn, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to every aspect of our life and particularly, our family. This we learn when reading Romans chapter 10 verse 17. Our faith can build like a muscle that enables us to be strong in the Lord and to become overcomers through all kinds of adversities and trials. We keep on growing and maturing as we willingly follow in the footpaths of the Lord. This message needs to be heard and applied through our confession and through godly preaching and teaching. His unshakeable faith becomes a vital part of everyone who is a born again spirit filled Christian.
Keep Pleasing Your God
We successfully learn how to please our Father God as we diligently read and apply Hebrews chapter 11 verses 3 and 6 to all our life's situations. Our faith anchors us through the word of God and gives us inherent and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God. Christians can understand how the universe, with its ages, was created by an everlasting, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient God. The world was made to suit God's plan and purposes and was not created from visible material. However, to truly understand this world, a person must be born again by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Without His everlasting, unshakeable faith, it is impossible to please Him. Everyone who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He, alone, is the eternal rewarder of all those who obey and diligently seek Him. Keep on walking by His eternal unshakeable faith towards His everlasting goals and you will always be richly rewarded. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Saying Brings Possession - January 27th 2024]]>Sat, 27 Jan 2024 04:06:27 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/saying-brings-possession-january-27th-2024Picture
                                  Confess Your Faith
Whatever you are believing for confess God's word over the required object or event that you desire. You must believe that what you say will come to pass. Make sure that when you say God's word over the situation, that it is what God desires for your life. When you know that it is God's will and purpose then earnestly confess His word over what you desire. As you keep on confessing God's word your faith level will rise to the point that you will know with certainty that what you are praying for, will come to pass. If you keep thinking and confessing bad things to happen, that's what you will get! It is important to always praise and thank God for His continual goodness towards you. When we trust in God and His word, we already know that it has come to pass, in the spiritual realm. We know that our faith in God's word will bring the desired result and make it manifest in our daily life.
Hide God's Word in Your Spirit
It is important to feed and build up your heart which is your spirit. Your spirit is your inner self or your real eternal life. We learn the importance of building up our spirit correctly, when we learn to follow the instructions found in Psalm 119 verse 11. As we keep confessing God's word over our life and those of other people, it is important not to sin but to have pure desires and intentions. Be convicted by the word of God and the Holy Spirit not to have wrong thoughts and not to speak out foolish words nor be involved in things of no real spiritual value.
His Word Gives Us Light
God's word, the Holy Bible, gives light to our pathway, in life. This we read from Psalm 119 verse 105. We will never go astray if we are willing to obey God's instructions and listen to the Holy Spirit revealing what God desires us to do. We need to realise that our ways, in themselves, are not God's ways and will never allow us to fulfil God's will and purposes, in the things that God, specially, created us to do. The Spirit and the Word reveal the way the Lord desires us to go rather than what our thoughts tell us or what people advise us to do. Yes, godly people can give us greater wisdom but the best they can do is confirm what God is already telling us. Prophets are not necessary for a Christian walking in the New Testament way, through the Holy Spirit. Godly prophets are important to encourage us to walk in the righteousness of God's word. After all the Holy Spirit, as well as Jesus Christ and the Father, are living in the spirit of every born again Christian, everyday.
Build On the Rock
Children of God must build their lives on a sure, secure foundation. They must obey God's word and the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge. When they do so they build upon their acceptance and their understanding of who Jesus Christ is. He is the ruler of the universe, the Rock of Ages. From Matthew chapter 7 verses 24 to 27 we read about the wise builder and the foolish one. Every person who hears and obeys God's word will be like a wise, far sighted, practical person who built their house and their life upon the sure foundation of the Lord. Flooding rains and troublesome circumstances came their way in life. Strong winds of doubt and sometimes lack impacted them but because their house and life, was built on God and His word. Their very being stood strong and did not fall. However, the foolish man ignored God and disobeyed the instructions of God's word, the Holy Bible. Instead this foolish or stupid man built his house and his life on the shifting sands of his own thoughts and worldly advice. When the storms of life descended on that house the shifting sands of the flesh, the world and the devil did not hold up. The result was that this house and all it stood for, came crashing to the ground. It's fall was great and very complete.
God's Faith Brings Perfect Results
God's faith in His children, brings great confidence in God and His word. We read about our saying and having from Mark chapter 11 verses 22 to 24. Whoever says to any mountain in their life that is to be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart or spirit, they will see that it will come to pass. They actively know that what they say will happen. They also know that their words will bring about God's desired results. Is this a physical mountain? Usually these mountains consist of sickness, financial lack, family relationships, upsets in church communities, doubt, all types of fear and distress, as well as personal emotional problems or whatever the devil tries to bring upon them. You can always overcome these mountains by the power that comes from God when we read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all the situations at hand. When we pray according to God's will and purposes our faith will confidently rise through Him and His word. These people will receive what they have asked for and often, much more. It might take a little time to manifest, but always keep on believing and thanking God for His promised result. Faith based on God's word will enable you to possess those things that you have prayed for.
Listeners Need Bible Teachers
It is so vital that churches have good Bible teachers who are able to rightly divide the truth of God's word. We learn of their important role from Romans chapter 10 verses 14 to 17. How can people know how to call on the name of the Lord if they are only entertained with stories of other people's deeds rather than a knowledge of calling out, in their need, to the Creator of the universe? All people need to be able to listen to an anointed messenger of the Lord, so that they can rightly know and divide the truth of God's word. These teachers must be commissioned by the Lord rather than only authorised by a church board or denominational organisation. Like Jesus, those who preach God's truth, are those who are empowered to bring God's news of good things. From the teaching of these people, God's changes will occur in people's lives. Not all will listen to the truth but unfortunately quite happy to hear religious fables. True righteousness and deliverance only comes through consistent preaching and teaching of God's word, the Holy Bible. Everyone who hears the word and consistently confesses God's truth are well able to walk by faith and obtain the godly results that they desire.
Speak and Believe God's Word
We read about the great faith of the Roman centurion in Luke chapter 7 verses 6 to 10. Jesus was going to the centurion's home, where his slave was very ill. The centurion considered himself not worthy enough for Jesus to enter his house. He recognised Jesus' great authority for he, himself, commanded one hundred soldiers, who instantly obeyed him. He believed that if Jesus just spoke the word his slave would be healed. Jesus was amazed at the centurion's great faith. He told the people listening, that this was the greatest act of faith He had found in all of Israel. The Lord spoke the word of healing and when messengers returned to the centurion's house, they found his slave was healed, that very same hour. What had happened? It was the centurion's faith is Jesus and His great authority over sickness that enabled the slave to be healed. By saying the word of God from your spirit person, God's great healing will flow forth.
The Power of God's Word
When you pray for healing, salvation, finances or family or personal relationships, it is vitally essential to speak God's word over the circumstances, involved. We learn about the complete effectiveness or the power of God's word when reading Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12. God's word is living and active and is able to energise any flagging spirit. It's power is sharper than any two edged sword, well able to penetrate our whole being. It can even divide the division of our spirit and soul which is our mind, will and emotions. It is also able to heal every part of our body. It exposes the very thoughts and the desires and intentions of our inner being. Nothing is left veiled or hidden from the word of God, the Holy Bible.
Be Active Sayers of God's Word
How important, for your possession of God's blessings, is the active participation of saying God's word which enables you to possess His answers in your life. James chapter 1 verse 22 emphasises that we must be active doers of God's word in order to inherit His power, in our lives. We must be obedient doers and not just listeners. If we fail to rely upon and understand God's word we become deluded and often have a misunderstanding or unsound interpretation of God's word. Learn to live in the truth and power of God's word, consistently, saying it over and over, in order to possess its profound truth. It will happen if you keep on saying it! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Only One Way

Whoever desires to know the true path of life must live and walk according to the revelation knowledge of God. This knowledge of His precepts and commands can only be found in God's word, the Holy Bible. No wisdom or understanding given by mankind, alone, can reveal the path to everlasting life. Not only does God's word show you the path of eternal life but also how you are to live your life, on earth. To gain this most wonderful gift of eternal life we must first acknowledge Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Saviour. Then you must be willing to repent of your sins and seek His forgiveness. Always be willing to be obedient and walk in His ways. You will be given the amazing gift, of eternal life if you sincerely believe what God has said in His word. You will become a child of the living, eternal God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The Word Sets Before Us Life or Death.
If we accept God's word as being truth and righteousness, for our life, we can have what we say. Our life must always be a faith walk. If we don't accept God's word we begin to travel the path of unrighteousness and eventually, spiritual death. The word of God gives us spiritual life and the denial of God's word brings spiritual death. We learn this from reading Deuteronomy chapter 30 verses 14 to 20. As we read and meditate upon the word of God, it becomes part of our being; our spirit. Confessing and applying the word enables us to obey the word and this will bring forth God's righteousness in our lives. We are to love the Lord and obediently follow His commands and precepts. Those who turn away from God's word, perish in the wilderness of the flesh, the world and the devil. God sets His pathway of life before all who are willing to believe and follow Him. Choose God's ways and His blessings will flow upon you and your family and your descendants. Following the Lord will enable each person to be abundantly blessed and to live a long life, while on earth.
Listen and Obey the Holy Spirit
We read about the importance of listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit, when we read Isaiah chapter 30 verse 21. We must be prepared to listen with our inner voice or spirit. We really need to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. He will always tell us the right way to live our life. Whenever we turn to the left hand or whenever we turn to the right the Lord will show us what He knows we need to do. It is always a matter of being prepared to listen and most importantly to obey. When we do so we will always stay on the right track and live the way God desires us to live.
Eternal Life Can Be Difficult for the Rich.
In Matthew chapter 19 verses 16 to 25 we learn about those who trust in their riches and possessions, even in their fame or position. It can be very difficult for those people to obtain eternal life. It is important to learn to keep God's commandments, particularly of love. For those who are born again there are only two commandments we must keep. Firstly, we must love God with all our heart or spirit, with our mind and all our strength and the willingness of our whole being. Secondly, we must love everyone else as much as we love ourselves. The young man who came to Jesus had willingly kept all the ten commandments of Moses. Jesus told Him that to obtain spiritual maturity he had to be willing to give away his wealth to all those who were needy. Really, he had to learn to do God's will and follow what God had created him to do. The young man had much property and possessions which he treasured more than his fellowship with God. He regarded his wealth as a greater security than the eternal blessings of the kingdom of God. At this revelation, the disciples then wondered, who could be saved? They, like many people, even Christians, regard their wealth and possessions, in life, as more important than obeying and following the Lord.
God's Kingdom Is Only for the Born Again

We learn, as Nicodemus did, that the kingdom of heaven which is the kingdom of God, is only for the redeemed or born again people. John chapter 3 verses 3 to 8 informs us of this wonderful fact. Nicodemus came to Jesus at night realising God's anointing power upon Jesus, as a teacher. Jesus replied to Nicodemus's query about being born again, that unless a person was reborn from above – that is spiritually transformed and sanctified – they would never know or experience the kingdom of God. Nicodemus questioned Jesus as to whether a person had to re-enter their mother's womb, to be born again. Jesus answered him that a person needed to be born again, not in a fleshly manner but through baptism by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ; to be born again, as one of God's children. Only then would they be able to gain entry into the kingdom of God. Everything and every person is born of the flesh and only exists in a physical way but those who are born again, of the Spirit of God, become spiritually transformed in their spirit and are then able to enter God's kingdom.
The Difference Between Earthly and Heavenly Things
We read about Nicodemus and his lack of understanding of the difference between earthly and heavenly things. This is found in John chapter 3 verses 8 to 18. People hear the sound of the wind but where it really comes from and goes, is a mystery. However, people who are born again are spiritually united with God and their relationship cannot be explained by merely natural or physical understanding. Nicodemus, even though he was an honoured teacher of Israel, did not understand these differences. Jesus, had taught the people and performed amazing miracles, yet the spiritual leaders of that time, in Israel, did not understand and rejected the testimonies of many witnesses. This same tragedy occurs in many churches, today, as it did then. Jesus told the leaders about earthly things yet they did not believe the truth. In like manner, because they did not understand earthly things, they could not understand heavenly things.
Only Those Who Believe Inherit Eternal Life
People have not been resurrected yet, however, Jesus had come down from heaven, as God's only Son, to reveal the Father to mankind and His marvellous plan of redemption. This we read from John chapter 3 verses 13 to 15. Jesus foretold His death by crucifixion, on the Cross, at Calvary. Even as Moses lifted up the bronze serpent, in the wilderness, of Sinai, Jesus, in like manner, would be crucified on the Cross at Calvary. In the desert of Sinai, those who looked upon the serpent, lived. This was symbolical of the crucifixion of Jesus that occurred fourteen hundred years, later. Those who repented then and those who repent today from their sins and seek forgiveness, through Christ's shed blood on the Cross, will be saved. Only these people will inherit eternal life and become God's children, forever.
Everyone Can Inherit Eternal Life
We learn about all those who can inherit eternal life from John chapter 3 verses 16 to 18. It is so important that every person, everywhere, realises and understands that Jesus died for everyone who has ever lived. That means that he also died for them that so that they could repent and be forgiven and obtain the privilege of everlasting life, in heaven, with God. The Christian life is one of believing, service and trusting the Lord through all of life's changing circumstances. God did not send Jesus into this lost world to just condemn everyone and initiate His final judgement. Rather He came to save the lost; all who were willing, in His redemption of mankind, to be saved. He came as our Saviour. He came so that all who truly believe in Him, could be saved.
Who Misses Out On His Redemption?
It is sad to realise who really misses out. This we are told in John chapter 3 verses 18 to 21. Those who have already rejected Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, have already missed out. Thank God for those in the future, who are willing to repent and accept the Lord. It is still not too late for many to be forgiven but it is becoming obvious day by day, that the door leading to eternal life, is already closing. Judgement has already come upon all non believers because they have rejected the light of God's word. Why could this be so? These people loved sinning and their own ways rather than God's righteousness. Every evil doer who won't repent hates the light of God, and the Holy Bible. They shrink in fear from doing God's will because they delight in their own evil activities. All who love and practice truth come to God's light. They delight to do good works that please God and help other people. They desire to do this because they are now born again children of God. Their good deeds are done to honour and obey God and are performed with His help.
Keep On God's Righteous Path
Each day keep praising the Lord and learn to be obedient to His will and purposes. Keep on praying over your circumstances and keep interceding for your family, your friends and others that the Holy Spirit lays on your spirit, to pray for. Each day keep on learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to your own circumstances. Listen o he Holy Spirit and obey what He tells you to do. As you become more mature as a Christian the things mentioned above will enable you to successfully overcome the flesh, the world and the devil! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Our Eternal Reconciliation -January 13th 2024]]>Sat, 13 Jan 2024 07:59:10 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/our-eternal-reconciliation-january-13th-2024Picture
You Are Redeemed
Every person who has ever lived or is living now or will be born in the future was is and will be able to be redeemed. There are no exceptions to God's mercy and grace. You and everyone else is included in God's wonderful plan to reconcile His fallen creation to Himself. This has been made available through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross, at Calvary, nearly two thousand years ago. This is an everlasting reconciliation for all who are willing to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. These people have already or will become inheritors of His eternal life and blessings, for all eternity.
Redeemed from Oppression
So many people in the circumstances of life, feel oppressed, as if they are living in a cage or a prison. Fear and doubt and lack of basic needs and of real opportunities, keep oppressing them, day by day. We learn about our redemption from these life threatening situations and our rescue, by our God, when we read Psalm 72 verse 14. Everyone has been and can be redeemed from oppression, fraud and violent situations. The blood of those who receive God's love and compassion is precious in God's sight. He is only waiting for those who will obey His will and purposes, to come to Him for His mighty reconciliation. Without a full reconciliation with the Lord, your Creator, there can be no real reconciliation between marriage partners, family members, church organisations or fellow citizens of your city or country.
Reconciled for Salvation
As Christians, we are to rejoice because we have perfect reconciliation with God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This we learn by reading Romans chapter 5 verse 11. Continuing, day by day, we can be joyful for what God has done, is doing and will do, on our behalf. We can enjoy learning, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to the life God has given us to live. It is so wonderful to keep rejoicing in His love. We have the confidence that real reconciliation. brings His children closer to Him and we can abide in His forgiveness and His blessings throughout eternity. We also know we have overcome the flesh, the world and the devil through His righteousness, abiding in us.
Our Ministry of Reconciliation
Recently our country had a referendum regarding the reconciliation of indigenous people to be recognised in the constitution as a means of reconciliation of the original inhabitants of the land. The majority of citizens, by a large margin, voted against the governments proposal. Many voters did not accept the notion because of inherent mistrust of financial involvements that would most likely follow a yes vote. We read from 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 18 that we have a sure message of reconciliation, not just for an earthly ideal but for an eternal forgiveness and eternal life with our Creator God. Every Christian should be involved in reconciling their fellow members of mankind, in the wonderful ministry of reconciliation, through Jesus Christ, to the honour of God the Father.
True Reconciliation
True reconciliation for everyone, can only be fully realised through the amazing resurrection power of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This important information we can also read from 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 18. God reconciles us to Himself by forgiving us from all our sins and allowing us to inherit eternal life and making each one of us one of His chosen children. He also provides for and endows us with His wonderful blessings. Our repentance has enabled us to be completely reconciled to our Creator. We have become His helpers enabled to administer new life and healing power towards our fellow human being. Our lives can be lived, through Him, as examples of who He is and what He is like.
Time and Space Is Reconciled in Christ
We read about the absolute reconciliation, of all things in the universe, from Ephesians chapter 1 verse 10. This momentous event occurs at the end of this age when the fulfilment of history, takes place. At this time all of creations activities will be brought to a climactic conclusion, in Christ. Not only will all earthly activity, as we know it, be completed but also that which is in heaven will take a dynamic shift. All pain and strife, sickness and warfare, will cease. Those people still living on earth will have been resurrected to eternal life in heaven or else be damned in hell, forever.
All One in Christ
Complete reconciliation for all who obey the Holy Spirit and believe God's word, will occur. This we learn from reading Ephesians chapter 2 verse 16. Jesus has reconciled every person, from every nation on earth, if they are willing to listen and to obey God's word. No one should miss out. There is now no great rift between those who are Jews and those who are Gentiles. In Christ, they have become one people. God has established His peace between Israel and Palestine is for all will who believe His word and act upon it. Unfortunately, there are sheep, who are true believers and there are goats who don't know or stubbornly won't believe. Despite this, no one need miss out on eternal life. Everyone has the choice to believe or not to believe. Don't make the wrong choice!
Redemption Means Freedom
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. We can be free from every religious law or practice, in Him. The only law we need to follow now is God's law of love for Him and every other person we meet. This redemptive freedom is ours according to Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. Jesus died in great agony on the Cross at Calvary to give all who believe, His eternal life and their freedom. He also took upon Himself the penalty and the curse of everyone's sin. He became sin for us that we might be free and escape the condemnation that comes upon all those who refuse to accept His pardon for their sins. He was crucified for us and He took our penalty so that we could inherit eternal freedom from the moment we repented and first believed.
Reconciliation through His Blood
It was through His shed blood that total reconciliation was made for mankind. This we learn from reading Colossians chapter 1 verse 20. The peace of God, which surpasses all human understanding, is made available to all mankind. This was made available when Jesus rose victoriously from the grave and conquered Satan and sin and all its earthly woes. We were now free and could see the light of God and walk and live in it forever. No more fear, no more strife, no more sickness or warfare was the portion of all who would believe. Dear ones, this is the real life of all true Christians. We have escaped out of the snares of the fowler; out of the traps of Satan and his demonic hordes.
Complete Redemption
Titus chapter 2 verse 14 informs us about complete redemption, in Jesus Christ. God loved His children so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, to redeem all living in the world of Satan's violence, deceit and unlawful deeds. He came and died and rose again to save us from our wickedness. The Lord redeemed us and reconciled us to Himself. He has made our spirit reborn from above and we have become a special people able and desirous of carrying out His good works. No more are we sloppy Joe or silly Jess but we are born again to live in His wonderful presence, for all eternity. We are and others can be recreated beings, in Him. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Where Is Your Eternal Destination? January 6th 2024]]>Sat, 06 Jan 2024 05:09:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/where-is-your-eternal-destination-january-6th-2024Picture
Heaven or Hell
Everyone who lives on planet earth has been created by God and have one of two possible eternal destinations. These two destinations are either heaven or hell. There is no in between . It is either one or the other. Heaven is full of goodness and eternal peace and hell is full of the devil's treachery and pain. Both places are the final destination of the real you – your eternal spirit. Your old body is only for your habitation upon earth. The choice of where you live forever, belongs to you. If you repent of your sins then you inherit eternal life, through Jesus Christ. If you don't repent then you will go to hell forever, with Satan and his demons and every evil twisted unrepentant person, who ever lived on earth.
Destination: Heaven
God's heaven is situated above all our atmosphere and far above the planets and stars. It is the most wonderful place of God's abode. It is the hope of most people that they will at the end of their life, finally arrive in heaven. We learn from Colossians chapter 1 verse 5 that it is the blessed hope of all Christians. It is where all true believers will dwell. It is the home of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It is also the home of countless angels who constantly do God's bidding. Heaven and God's throne in heaven, is the centre of the universe, which is controlled by God. It is the place where God is preparing a special eternal home for all His children. All who obey God are the citizens of heaven. There will be no more crying or disappointments there. Heaven is a place of continual worship to the Lord. It is a place of God's perfection and holiness. It is a place of eternal peace and joy. There is no night there but continual light shining from God, Himself.
Destination: Hell
While heaven is way above the galaxies of the universe hell is situated way down, in the fiery centre of the earth. We read about its location from Psalm 55 verse 15. The spirits of people go down alive into Sheol which is eternal hell. Hell is a place of eternal torment. It is a lake of fire. From Mark chapter 9 verses 43 and 44 we read about the terrible place that forever is hell. If your hand causes you to sin it is better for you to enter into eternal life with one hand than to enter hell with both hands. Hell is a place of everlasting fire where your spirit does not die and the eternal flames never cease. It is a destination to be avoided at all cost. Heaven is to be gained and hell needs to be avoided.
Guaranteed Entry into Heaven
Matthew chapter 3 verse 2 gives us the information we need to have regarding our entry to heaven. There is no other entry ticket given or required. First of all we must acknowledge that we are a sinner, in need of salvation. Our entry ticket has already been purchased for us through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, shed on our behalf, on the Cross of Calvary. Our need is to repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our own personal Lord and Saviour. All who truly accept the Lord are at that moment born again and their spirit becomes recreated as a child of God. They not only are forgiven but also inherit all of God's blessings including the incredible gift of eternal life. True repentance, from our sins, gives us our only entry ticket to heaven. It is the one and only way to get to heaven, no matter what your former religious or non- religious views were. God's entry to heaven is available to all who are willing to believe and are willing to keep following the Holy Spirit and the divine directions given in God's word, the Holy Bible. We become partakers of God's truth and our entry to heaven is guaranteed through Jesus Christ and His shed blood, alone.
Guaranteed Entry to Hell
Everyone who is not willing to accept Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, is guaranteed entry to hell. Unfortunately, we read from John chapter 3 verse 19 the reason why people go to hell. Their condemnation is that when they were confronted with the light of the gospel of God's kingdom, they wilfully would not accept the light. Why can this be so? It has been and always will be because people love darkness and evil rather than the light of God's goodness and grace. They love darkness because they delighted in darkness and their own thoughts, speech and actions were continuously evil. The light revealed their inner secret desires to be evil. Repentance was far from their intentions. They were not willing to repent and accept God's gift of righteousness and eternal life. Everyone who comes to the knowledge of the truth and then willingly shuts the door on God ignore His goodness and His eternal life. Thereby they willingly allow themselves to be eternally damned in hell.
It Is Your Decision
Remember, it is your decision, alone, that determines your final destination. It is not whether you go to church, for this can aid or detract from your decision to change your direction. If you do not accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Saviour, there is no other way. He is the ONLY WAY to gain eternal life. John chapter 14 verse 6 is very emphatic regarding the only way to go to heaven. Thomas had asked Jesus where He was going. This message in the official Latin language of the Roman Empire could have read: “ Quo Vadis, Domini? “ which translated in English means where are you going Lord? Jesus replied that He was going back to His Father, in heaven. He then told Thomas that through accepting Jesus, people could be saved and come to heaven. Jesus, the resurrected Son of God, was the only Way, the Truth and the Light. No one could come to the Father, in heaven, except, through Jesus Christ.
Earth Is Our Battleground
The battleground for our mind, our will and our emotions as well as our spirit, begins immediately when we are born on earth. We are instantly involved in warfare and if we war according to our own plans and desires, we will lose out big time. If we submit to the Lord and then allow Him to do battle for us then we in His strength will win our earthly battles, big time. Only overcomers, in Christ, are guaranteed complete victory. We learn how to achieve eternal victory from 1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 47. The Lord does not save with sword or spear or any of man's modern warfare equipment. God helps us to win our spiritual battle. The real battle is against Satan and his demons and not against other people or countries. We hand our battles into the hands of the Lord. His weapons are intercessory prayer and our willingness to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply His words regularly to our own lives and all the situations we face in life. This daily practice is combined with obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit. In doing so we are able to win, in the Lord, and be prepared for our eternal life and His eternal blessings, for evermore.
Today is the day of Salvation
We learn by reading Hebrews chapter 2 verse 3 that we are not to neglect our great salvation. Today is the day of salvation, tomorrow could well be far too late. Daily we are fighting the stupidity, the deceit and the lies of the flesh, the world and the devil. For some people the victory has already been won and heaven has become their heavenly home. For the tremendous bulk of mankind it is already too late for they have unthinkingly chosen eternal death and hell. For all those who still remain alive the heavenly door of eternal life, remains open. How important that you take advantage of the situation and give your life to the Lord before it is TOO LATE. Then the door of eternal life is shut forever. Remember, no one knows how long they will live. Some people may have time to make their eternal decision. Please repent and give your life to the Lord, this very day and become a citizen of heaven and an inheritor of eternal life. Don't leave your decision any longer! Accept the Lord Jesus Christ and live forever!
Solution to a Problem
So many sermons that are preached from the pulpit and are even taught in small groups of believers, identify problems in people's lives that need solutions. The real problem is that few preachers or teachers who present their message outlining the problem rarely give a sound biblical solution. Without an effective bible based solution or understanding many listeners are left with no workable solutions for their problems. Their life's problems can only be successfully solved when a true spiritual solution is promoted from God's word and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Why People Lose Out - Dec 18th 2023]]>Mon, 18 Dec 2023 10:18:01 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/why-people-lose-out-dec-18th-2023Picture
You Must Remain Steadfast
Christians lose out because they fail to keep their eyes on the Lord and His word, the Holy Bible. This means they fail to remain steadfast in their love for the Lord and their desire to obey his will and purposes for their life. It really matters to be obedient and diligent in intercessory prayer and in your daily learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all the situations you are involved in. Always find out what God requires and then obey and hold fast to all that the Lord desires you to do. Don't look at other people or situations but keep holding on to what ever the Lord has told your spirit to do, and do it His way, only.
Solution to a Common Problem
So many sermons in so many churches, that are preached from the pulpit or taught in small groups of believers, identify problems in people's lives which their listeners readily identify with. The real problem for those who hear the message is that many listeners are waiting for a resolution to the problem, which sadly, rarely comes. Without an effective bible based understanding, many are left with no workable solutions to resolve their problems. Just like in mathematics there has to be a correct solution in order for the problems to be resolved. This can only occur when a true spiritual understanding is revealed as the Holy Spirit enables the word of God to provide the real answer.
Peter Looked Elsewhere
We read about Peter walking on the water of Lake Galilee from Matthew chapter 14 verses 25 to 32. Jesus came walking on the water and the disciples were terrified at the sight. They thought it was a ghost and cried out in fear. Jesus then said to them to be courageous and not to be afraid. Each day Jesus tells His children to do the same. Peter, initially, took courage and asked the Lord to command him to be able to walk on the water. Peter obeyed the Lord and walked on the water for a while. Peter became frightened and took his eyes off the Lord and looked at the effects of the boisterous wind, whipping up the waves. He began to sink. He called out to the Lord to save him. Immediately, the Lord extended His hand and caught Peter and thereby saved him. What was the problem? Peter had become intimidated by the surrounding circumstances. Like so many of God's children Peter temporarily lost his faith in the Lord who alone was able to help him. Jesus told Peter that his faith was small and that he had begun to doubt that he could do what Jesus had commanded him to do. The primary reason for our doubt and unbelief is a lack of faith in Jesus and His ability to bring us through our current circumstances. Our faith can be and often is very weak if we don't spend quality time building it up on God's word.
Faith Comes By Hearing
If we truly want to be enabled to hold on and not lose out then our daily life must be a walk of faith. How do we truly acquire faith which enables us to be victorious? The God kind of faith will only come through God's word, the Holy Bible. Romans chapter 10 verse 17 gives us the true answer. We must pay attention and be willing to obey what God the Holy Spirit, tells our spirit to do. We must learn, read and confess God's word over and over again until it becomes part of our inner spirit or being. We not only know what God requires of us but it also becomes the one thing we want to do. Our hope develops into our treasured faith. It is our faith in God and His word that enables us to carry out His will and purposes in our life, so that we don't lose out!
Don't Lose Your Healing
So many people, even Christians, either don't know or recognise God's healing power in their lives and forget to keep thanking God for their healing and forget to give thanks for being partners with God in their long term healing process. Acts chapter 14 verses 9 and 10 tells us about the man that Paul healed as a result of Paul's teaching. This man had gained faith to be healed; he trusted in God and in the word of God, which Paul had preached. This man had been lame from his birth and had never walked. Paul commanded him to stand up on his feet. He jumped up and immediately began walking. He could have ignored Paul's command but he obeyed. Often people are healed by those who have been specially endowed, by the Holy Spirit, with God's healing power. Many thousands of people, over many years, have been healed in this way. However, few people know that they need to maintain their healing by receiving their faith medicine regularly, from God's word. They don't realise that faith for healing is a constant part or should be, of every Christians life. As a result, many people lose out either in a particular past healing or in a new phase of bodily healing. This is very much so when people begin to age. Learn to keep walking by faith, in your younger years and you won't lose out in the future!
Only Trust in the Lord
To overcome in our earthly life we must not trust in the flesh, the world and never in the devil. Don't trust in yourself to get you through. It just won't work! Your trust must be secure in God and His word, the Holy Bible. We learn about where our trust must always be when we read Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 to 8. Every Christian, really every person, needs to learn to trust, confidently, in the Lord. If we lean onto our own understanding we will lose out, heavily. It's comparable to a young child's knowledge of life to a very mature, well educated Christian university professor; even more so. God knows the best way for you in not just some aspects of your life but in all aspects. If we acknowledge God and His ways we are well on our way to victory. He will show every person, who gives their life to Him, the straight and smoother paths of life. Always fear and reverence the Lord and always be in great awe of who He really is: the Creator of all people as well as the entire universe. In so doing you will inherit health for your spirit, soul and body. Your entire nervous system, your muscular and skeletal systems will also be refreshed. You will be an entire new creation in Him.
Satan hates You
All who believe that God's kingdom, with His authority and power, has already come and trust in His saving grace have become targets of Satan. This we read from Revelation chapter 12 verses 10 to 13. Satan is the accuser of God's children, about circumstances in their former situations and the situations in their current lives and endlessly tries to destroy their confidence in God and His goodness. Satan's power was broken when Jesus Christ rose again and destroyed his power and authority over all of mankind, who were willing to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. Remember, as a Christian, the Lord has made you an overcomer in all aspects of your life. Satan is very angry at his loss of control of many in the human race. He only keeps control over the lives of those who do not know about Christ's saving grace or have already rejected it. Since the resurrection Satan has been booted out of the heavenlies and resides in the earthly realm. He creates as much havoc as he can to endless geographic disasters, diseases and accidents. He knows that he is headed for hell and his time, in controlling people's lives, is short. He carries on relentless persecution and has for nearly two thousand years, particularly against God's people, the Lord's body of true believers. Sometimes it is in direct persecution and at other times he tries to infiltrate by corrupting the teaching of God's word through false Christian leaders and false Christian churches. He creates cults and spurious offshoots in order to bring about confusion and deception to the world and also upon God's people. Always hold true to the word of God, the Holy Bible and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit and you'll not lose out but you will be a victorious overcomer.
Be a Faithful Disciple
The major task of every Christian is to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Never doubt God's word or be double minded about what it tells you. This we learn when we faithfully read and accept what we read from James chapter 1 verses 6 to 8. Each person must ask in faith and never doubt God and His word which will enable then to overcome doubt and unbelief. If a person doubts or is double minded they become like a wave of the sea tossed back and forth. Those who doubt or deviate, for and then against, will not receive anything worthwhile from the Lord. You must believe to receive. Be confidently founded on the word of God and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. As you do so you will not lose out!
Do Not Fear
You have not been called to fear, anything. Do not fear about your relationships with your family members or friends. Don't be fearful about attacks to your spirit or mind by Satan or demons. Why you should not fear? God has not given you a spirit of fear. All fear comes from Satan and his demons. This we read from 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. We are to be free from the fear of lack of money, physical or mental problems, people's crude or insensitive words or even your seeming lack of workplace skills. Remember you have been created for good works by God. Daily, you will overcome. Never stop reading or applying God's word to your life rather than reading about, listening to and discussing how bad a shape you and the world appear to be in. Keep praising and worshipping the Lord for His great provision and blessings upon you. All who put the Lord first in their life, will be overcomers. Everyone and that includes you, will not lose out but will be Christians who win and inherit eternal life and its blessings! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Faith Comes by Hearing

Every Christian must learn to live and walk by faith. Where do Christians get their faith? All Christians can obtain and develop their faith by learning from God's word, the Holy Bible. They then need to, on a daily basis, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all their circumstances and situations in life. There is no other way to obtain and develop your faith except through God's word. No amount of victorious situations or overcoming life's battles will give you sustaining God like faith. Your faith for what God has done for you must have a secure, sound foundation. That foundation comes through God's word, alone. We read about how your faith develops by reading from Romans chapter 10 verse 17.
Show Me Your Signs
Like the Pharisees of old, many people desire to see signs, that prove that Christianity is for real. One of the greatest signs is that they love one another and have compassion for all people. A number of very pertinent signs, of a real born again believer, are given to us in Mark chapter 16 verses 15 to 18. Jesus first commanded His children to go into all the world and preach the gospel. This would include your family, your neighbours, your friends and possibly to other parts of your state or your country or even, to an overseas destination. You are to tell others about the Lord's good news of their salvation. All who believe should be baptised by immersion and will be baptised, into the body of Christ, by the Holy Spirit. In doing so they will be saved from the penalty of God's wrath and judgement. Those who don't believe will be condemned. Other important signs will follow all who are true believers. They will have the Lord's power to cast out demons in Jesus' name and they will be able to speak in new heavenly tongues. Any deadly animal, such as a serpent, will not harm them. They will drink poison and it will not hurt them. Importantly, they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover, whether this be themselves, family members, friends or relatives or even those who do not believe. Keep on showing the world that you truly are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Importance of Prayer
It has been said that every failure of Christian endeavour or work is often a failure of Christians to pray. What is Prayer? Prayer is frequent communication with God the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Answers to real supplications and petitions must be based on the word of God, the Holy Bible as well as activated and anointed, by the Holy Spirit. Prayer can be very diverse in operation. It must be, by every believer, singularly or in groups or prayer meetings or by congregations at set times. It can occur when praise and worship and instruction, at church meetings takes place. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18 gives us foundational understanding regarding the constant use of prayer. We are to intercede on behalf of others and raise our special petitions or requests at all times and on all occasions and in every season. It needs to be through the unction of the Holy Spirit. We are to stay alert and always persevere until the answer comes through. We must particularly pray for God's children and pray very specifically, for current needs. Keep on binding up Satan and his demons and breaking off their evil work against mankind.
Always Be Obedient
Every child must obey their parents, in what is good and righteous just as every child of God must obey their heavenly Father. We learn just how important obedience is from 1 Samuel chapter 15 verses 22 and 23. Christians must learn to be obedient to God and His word, the Holy Bible, teaching about the need to know about God's will and purposes. Listening to and obeying what the Holy Spirit reveals to our spirit, is absolutely vital. In order to grow more like Christ and to become more able to inherit God's blessings upon ourselves and our families, we must obey. If we keep doing our own thing instead of obeying God, we give Satan and His demons opportunity to bring lies and deceit into our lives. Instead of pleasing God we become disobedient children, open to all forms of devilish ways in the form of doubt, disease and even financial poverty. How important it is to be obedient to our wonderful Creator God. He always knows the best way for us to live so that we can enjoy His freedom and prosperity.
Baptisms of God's Word
In the Holy Bible we read that John the Baptist baptised many people of Israel in the Jordan River. This was to signify their repentance from their sins. This meant they were willing to change their old way of thinking and living, their very inner self. We read about this in Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. Later on Jesus would baptise His followers with the Holy Spirit. When we follow Jesus and His example of being baptised we are symbolically showing that we have repented of our sins and desire to follow in His ways. When we are baptised by the Holy Spirit, into the body of Christ, we are then baptised in the name of Jesus, as our Lord. When Paul came to Ephesus he encountered disciples, who had been baptised by John the Baptist, but had not even heard of the Holy Spirit. This we read about in Acts chapter 19 verses 1 to 7. After hearing Paul preaching, about the Holy Spirit, they were baptised into the body of Christ in the name of Jesus. This happened when Paul laid his hands upon them. After these twelve people were baptised by the Holy Spirit they began to speak in unknown and heavenly languages.
God's Great Grace
Every Christian needs God's unmerited grace or favour, in their life, but only born again Christians are willing to receive His grace. We learn about God's mercy and grace in 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9. His wonderful grace is completely sufficient or even more than enough for all our earthly circumstances or situations. When we are weak or overburdened His grace will sustain us. Those who have not given their lives to the Lord will find that either now or in the future, they will become full of doubt and fear which often renders them only capable of making poor life decisions. Paul gladly boasted in his personal weaknesses because when he was weak, in himself, the Lord mightily empowered him to overcome the situations he often faced in his life.
Overcoming Fear
The Lord enables us to live a life without fear. We know that fear causes turmoil. God has not given us a spirit of fear but rather a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Fear is engendered by the flesh, the world and the devil. We read that fear should never be a part of our life. We overcome by knowing God's great power in our life as revealed in 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. To love God and to fear only Him are important assets in defeating Satan and demons, attempts to attack us. According to 1 John chapter 4 verse 18 there is no fear in the God kind of love. When our love is perfected and complete in Him we have this perfect confidence and assurance. We are becoming to live like Him so that we can be as He is in the world. Always spend time listening to the Holy Spirit and being obedient. Keep on reading the word and absorbing it and applying His word to your daily circumstances and fear will lose its grip on your life.
Which Is It! Heaven or Hell?
Christians are those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They are already heaven bound and have already inherited eternal life. We read about heaven from 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 4. In heaven we have an imperishable inheritance reserved for all who love and obey the Lord. There are references, that Jesus made about hell, in the book of Matthew, particularly, Matthew chapter 10 verse 28. People should never be afraid of those who can only kill the body. These people cannot kill the soul. However, be afraid of Him, speaking of God, who can kill or destroy both soul and body in hell. According to Mark chapter 9 verses 43 to 48 we learn that just like heaven, there is no ending to hell. It is everlasting! In heaven there is God's love and his joy and peace for evermore. In hell there is endless pain and torment. Please make the right choice! May your name be found, forever, in the Lamb's Book of Life! Always teach and preach God's word, just as Jesus did! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Teach and Preach the True Gospel of Jesus - Part 1-Dec 4th 2023]]>Mon, 04 Dec 2023 04:28:49 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/teach-and-preach-the-true-gospel-of-jesus-part-1-dec-4th-2023Picture
Preach God's Word
In order to tell other people about the wonders of God's salvation, we must be willing to preach and teach God's word. Without teaching the word of God, the Holy Bible, you'll never get the major benefits that God intends you to have. The Lord's example is so practical and also so necessary. Jesus knew what was so important. It was to show people the reality of God's great mercy and demonstrate His almighty power. Many people of Israel, just as many people in our world today, were sick and weary of life. Jesus came to give them new hope and a new life. Those that know and practice God's compassion and grace must also preach and teach this same knowledge to others. People's needs are still the same and sometimes, even greater.
Repentance
The Lord requires that every person, who hears the gospel, the good news of God's salvation, must repent. We learn about the importance of repentance from Matthew chapter 3 verse 2. When the Holy Spirit convicts a person of sin, righteousness and judgement, then they are to respond, in repenting of their sins so that the Holy Spirit can enable them to change by renewing their inner person, their spirit. Many so called evangelists, ask people to just accept Jesus. In order to become a born again child of God, a person's inner person must be changed according to a willingness to change and a desire to become like God. In doing so, we are to forsake the world, the flesh and the devil. There must be a whole hearted change, by us, from walking as an ungodly person and becoming a person willing to embrace God's ways. After we have repented of our sins we must keep on a pathway of repentance knowing that we are now a member of the kingdom of heaven. Being a citizen of heaven we must be willing to carry out God's will and purposes in His way.
Forgiveness
To be enabled to walk God's way we must have a willingness to forgive others. First of all, know in your spirit, then your mind, that Jesus has fully forgiven you and as an everlasting result we must be willing to forgive ourselves as well as others. This means forgiving people their mistakes and even their intended wrongs against us. Colossians chapter 3 verse 14 informs us that we are graciously to forgive each other. Whatever is the real problem between our marriage partner and ourself or between family members or fellow Christians or between ourselves and friends or workmates, we are to wholeheartedly forgive them. Why should we do so? We are to forgive each other just as the Lord has forgiven us. When you have completed your part of forgiving others, leave the matter in the hands of your Father God He is the Righteous Judge of the whole Earth and He will always do what is right!
Healing
Every Christian is able to minister healing to other people, when they are sick. They are enabled to do so by believing God's word and allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through them. We read from Acts chapter 10 verse 38 how Jesus of Nazareth was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with great power by God the Father. This appears to be the main method that God used to draw people to Himself. Firstly, He taught the people about healing and then through God's power He healed them. He demonstrated to the people that God's power was far greater than the oppression of Satan, the devil. The people were made free in spirit, soul and body.
The Love of God
We read and learn about the real love of God from 1 John chapter 3 verses 14 to 16. As God's children we know that we have passed from death to life because we love our fellow Christian. If we don't love those whom we see and know how can we love God who as yet, we have not seen? If we don't love with the God kind of love we remain, like most people in the world, in spiritual death. If we don't love others as God loves us we become spiritual murderers. No one who retains hatred and wrong intentions towards others, has eternal life abiding in them. Each Christian, as they listen to the Holy Spirit and pursue learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to their life and circumstances can remain in a state of hatred towards others. Daily, we are learning about God's precious love for us, and His willingness to lay down His life for all humanity. We likewise must also, learn to put others before ourselves. In doing so we become willing to lay or put down our life in deference to other people.
Be Filled with Compassion
Jesus was moved with compassion and pity for the crowd. This we read from Matthew chapter 9 verse 36. Why was this so? These people were dispirited and distressed. Many people, today, also require compassionate help in dire circumstances. Leaders of churches and all in authority over Christian groups and organisations, must show those in need, the same compassion that Jesus showed. This same compassion is necessary to flow between every born again child of God. As we do so the world will then know that we really are the children of our loving God. Compassion ,working by faith , moves God to action.
Overcomers of the World and Satan
Every Christian ,who truly loves God, is an overcomer of the flesh, the world and the devil. In Christ we have overcome the wickedness that opposes God and His will and purposes. We read about this in 1 John chapter 5 verses 4 and 5. Every born again believer is victorious. If they consistently obey the Holy Spirit and diligently read, confess and apply God's word, daily, they will be victorious. Victory is guaranteed to all those who are obedient. They become conquerors, through consistent faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, as well as the diligent application of the revelation knowledge contained in His word, the Holy Bible. Teach and preach that everyone, who is a genuine believer, can become a wonderful overcomer.
The Cleansing Power of Christ's Blood
If Christians, at any time, think, say or do something which is against God and His law of love, they are to quickly repent of these things. They claim the cleansing power of His shed blood that it does completely wash away the effects, including the guilt and shame of their sin. This we learn when we read 1 John 1 verse 7. We must always keep on walking, in the light of God's word, the Holy Bible. Every Christian can continue living in beautiful fellowship with one another if they earnestly desire the power of Christ's blood, to avail on their behalf. The blood of Jesus Christ is well able to cleanse away the effects of all our sin no matter what we have done or how bad we have been.
Our Better Covenant
We learn from Hebrews chapter 8 verses 6 and 13 that our New Testament covenant with God, is far better, for our eternal redemption, than the Old Testament covenant that God had made with Israel of old. It is far better than the Levitical covenant that God had made with Israel through Moses. Why is this so? It is so because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the mediator. God, Himself, is the arbiter of the new and better covenant between God the Father and mankind. This covenant unites man with God the Father, through Jesus Christ, God's Son. It has been enacted or carried out and indeed has its foundation, resting upon better promises. When God speaks of a new covenant He makes the first one, obsolete. That which was becoming obsolete has now been completely replaced by the new covenant. As a covenant it has been annulled and now is mainly used as a record of God's mighty dealings and faithfulness, with mankind, through the nation of Israel, of old. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Healed Spirit, Soul and Body -November 27th 2023]]>Mon, 27 Nov 2023 03:34:30 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/healed-spirit-soul-and-body-november-27th-2023Picture
Praise God for His Healing Power
We read in Psalm 103 verses 2 to 4 that we should always praise the Lord lovingly, for all His daily blessings upon us. He pardons us from all our sins so that we do not have to fret or fume about wrong thoughts, speech or actions from our present or even our past situations or circumstances. We are completely healed because He heals our spirit, our soul and our body. It is a simple but remarkable result of our repentance and His forgiveness that allows His mercy and compassion to flow to us. All our diseases, physical or mental, can be healed. This means not just some but all. Our very life is redeemed from lack and disease and from eternal damnation in hell.
Jesus Has Done It for Us
From Isaiah chapter 53 verses 4 and 5 we learn that we need not grieve about any circumstance that comes our way in life. Our children may be rebelling; family relationships can be fractured; finances may be down; health can be poor. So what! Jesus' death and resurrection and forgiveness, through His shed blood, has covered it all and given each member of the body of Christ, His resurrection power to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. The Lord was crushed for our wickedness. He took our place and the punishment that our sin required so that with His stripes and wounds we are healed spirit, soul and body. We are free and we can remain that way, forevermore.
Go With His Message
As His born again blood bought children we must preach and teach His message, not our own. Our task is to show others God's plan of redemption and His method of healing. From Matthew chapter 10 verses 7 to 15 we learn about the Lord's method and ways of ordaining His chosen messengers. His message was that the kingdom of heaven was then available then and is just as much, today. No one knows how long they will live upon planet earth. Get ready, now. Another time may be too late! Our job is to tell others, even other Christians, that Jesus Christ heals their mind, their emotions, their body, indeed every part of their being. Every disease can be healed. Often people are oppressed by demons and if they are non Christians, they can even be possessed. In the name of Jesus bind up the oppression of demons and cast out, in Jesus' name, their possession of people, as required. Don't be worried but let the Lord provide for you out of His abundant resources. Whereever you go stay with believers who are willing to aid God's work. Pray a blessing of peace on all who receive God's word. However, those who are not willing to receive you and God's message of repentance and forgiveness of sins, shake off the dust of your feet against them. This is a reminder of their rejection of God's truth and righteousness. Those who have heard and do not want to believe will find it will be more favourable, in the days of God's judgement, for Sodom and Gomorrah, than for them.
The Broken Hearted Are Healed
Most people in the world and sad to say, some in God's body, the church, are broken hearted. They are broken in their heart or spirit by what people have said or done to them. Often very demeaning personal situations and the result of poor health and their involvement in tragic accidents and the consequent loss of a loved one, has enabled these broken situations to occur. The Lord can heal all who are broken hearted. We read about God's healing power from Psalm 147 verse 3. Jesus is well able to heal everyone from being dispirited or downcast and also bind up the wounds of the past or current circumstances. Healing demands that a person forgives other people who have been involved in hurting them. Wonderful spiritual medicine is available, to all who are willing to believe. They must be daily willing to learn, read, meditate or think upon, confess and apply God's word to their circumstances, whatever they may be. Begin taking and keep on taking your spiritual medicine and you will experience God's healing hand changing your situations and healing your spirit, soul and body.
Peter's Ministry to Aeneas
Aeneas had been bed ridden for eight years. We read about the apostle Peter's ministry to him in Acts chapter 9 verses 33 to 35. Peter simply said to Aeneas that Jesus, the Christ, has healed you. In reality this is what Jesus is saying to all who are sick and bed ridden or anxious or depressed, this very day. It wasn't Peter, the apostle, who healed Aeneas but it was Jesus, the Son of God. He is the One who heals people, this very day. Jesus heals through all His faithful messengers who believe in His word and power right now, in 2023. What did Aeneas do? He used the faith God had given him to believe that what was preached to him by Peter, was true. Aeneas got up, immediately, in obedience, rolled up his bed and went forth a healed and blessed disciple of Jesus Christ, of Nazareth. All in Lydda, who witnessed the miracle , turned their hearts to the Lord. Healing was Jesus' and should be our greatest proof of the wonderful salvation and healing that comes from faith in His name.
Jesus Heals Spirit, Soul and Body
When reading and meditating upon God's word as recorded in Psalm 103 verses 2 and 3 we learn that the Lord's healing is absolutely complete. Every part of our being can be healed; spirit, soul and body. As we praise the Lord we become enthusiastic and thankful for His mighty blessings upon us. When we repent of our sins He not only forgives us but also heals all our diseases, even the so called, incurable ones. Even more He redeems our lives from hell and eternal damnation and lavishes upon us His loving kindness and tender mercies. He also satisfies our earthly lives with good things. The most blessed being our redemption from all our wickedness. He has made us inheritors of His eternal life.
Sanctified Children of God
We read in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 that our God of peace is constantly sanctifying us, that is making us more holy, so that we can be more like Him. As we read and apply God's word and listen to and obey the Holy Spirit we are being changed, by Him, from glory to glory. Each day he is separating us from the profane things of the flesh, the world and the devil. He is making us a consecrated people in our thoughts, in our speech and in our actions. Our whole spirit, soul and body is being set apart to do His will and purposes. This is so we can become complete and blameless, in Him, when He comes to take us home to glory, in heaven. This has been, so far, for most Christians, one or two believers at a time. However, one day, at the conclusion at this age of mankind, He will come and take home the whole of the remaining church. The church is the real body of all true believers. Keep looking upward for His mighty return for all His born again children. In the meantime remain believing in Him and His word and being lavished with His wonderful blessings. Above all believe that His power, that is delivered to you through the work of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Holy Bible, is real and alive in you. You are, without doubt, as you keep believing, healed in your spirit, your soul and your body! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Keep On being Filled - November 23rd 2023]]>Thu, 23 Nov 2023 03:30:43 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/keep-on-being-filled-november-23rd-2023Picture
Quenching Spiritual Thirst
The human body requires consistent drinking of water if it is to remain healthy. The brain needs consistent thinking through and gaining solutions to every day problems to remain highly functional. The spirit of a person also requires stimulation in order for a person's interest to be fostered by listening to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. When the spirit of a person is reborn from above it is filled with the wonder of the Holy Spirit. To keep charged with the desire to fulfil God's will and purposes it very much needs a constant infilling of the anointing and empowering of God, based on His word.
The Infilling of the Holy Spirit
On the day of Pentecost, fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, His disciples and those believers, gathered in the upper room at Jerusalem, were filled with the Holy Spirit. We read about this amazing event from Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 4. Suddenly, there came a sound, from heaven, as of a rushing violent wind that filled all the house where they were sitting. There appeared tongues as of fire resting upon each person, as they received the Holy Spirit. The whole beings of these people were filled and they all began speaking in different tongues or languages. They were given this ability to speak in unknown languages, through the unction of the Holy Spirit.
Joel's Prophecy
In the Old Testament in Joel chapter 2 verses 29 to 30 there is a great promise of the Holy Spirit, coming upon God's people. The Holy Spirit will be poured out and would become available to all mankind; that is, all who were willing to believe and receive. The young men and women would prophesy. The old men would have dreams and the young men would see visions. Even servants, both male and female, would have the Holy Spirit poured out upon their recreated spirits.
Paul Is Baptised for Ministry
We read about the apostle Paul, after his vision on the road to Damascus, being filled with the Holy Spirit. This is recorded in Acts chapter 9 verses 17 and 18. Ananias, a servant of the Lord, entered the house where Paul was residing on Straight Street, Damascus. Ananias laid his hands on Paul and told him that the Lord Jesus, who had appeared to Paul, had now sent him to heal his physical blindness. He also was sent so that Paul would be filled with the Holy Spirit. This empowerment was to be given to Paul so that he could teach about Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to both Jews and Gentiles.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit for All believers
We find in Acts chapter 19 verses 1 to 7 that all believers need to be baptised with the Holy Spirit. There is really only one Lord, one faith and one baptism for all believers. Paul travelled from Corinth to Ephesus. There he found people who had believed in Jesus Christ, as their Messiah or Lord and Saviour, but did not know about the need for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This unfortunate situation often occurs in many groups of believers around the world, even to this very day. These people had been baptised by immersion, by John the Baptist, but did not know about being infilled by the Holy Spirit. They had believed and repented but, as yet, were not anointed for God's service. Paul now baptised them again in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He then laid hands on them so that they might receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came upon them and then they began speaking in unknown tongues and prophesying. All together there were twelve men who were then baptised into the body of Christ, the real church, by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit Is in All Believers.
We read in John chapter 14 verses 16 and17 that the Holy Spirit is continually in them and abiding with all believers. He is the Spirit of Truth and has the amazing characteristics of being our Teacher, Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener and Stand By. He lives in and resides with His children, forever. The world, all those who are not born again, including a majority of so called Christians, are not indwelt by the Holy Spirit. All these people, even so called Christians, are not really part of the body of Christ, the Church. Unfortunately they do not know Him nor understand His word. However, His blood bought born again Christians, know Him. They desire constant renewing of the Holy Spirit's power in their lives, day by day. The Holy Spirit magnifies the Lord Jesus and gives each true Christian His anointing, for the empowerment they require for their daily lives.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us Life
The Holy Spirit of God gives us our real spiritual life. We read about this vital information from 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 6. All believers are qualified by the Holy Spirit, to be ministers or spiritual exponents of God's new covenant with mankind contained in the New Testament. We are empowered to inform other people about their need for salvation in Jesus Christ. It is not just an explanation of the written code but it is according to the Holy Spirit's revelation of God's word. The depth and depravity of sin and the necessity of obeying God's word and purposes, is revealed. As we give heed to the Holy Spirit, on a daily basis, the things of God are revealed to our spirit and then by our spirit to our mind.
Keep Sowing to the Spirit.
All who earnestly desire to obey God and fulfil what the Holy Spirit tells them to do will learn to sow things of eternal value into their daily circumstances. This we learn from Galatians chapter 6 verse 8. If we indulge in a major way into the things of the flesh, the world and the devil then we are sowing corruption and deceit into our lives. This is a life that is founded upon sinful and worldly impulses and disgraces. Eventually, the end is ruin and destruction in our earthly life and finally damnation and eternal existence in hell. If we sow into the things of the spirit we gain forgiveness of our sins including God's wonderful blessings and above all, eternal life in heaven with Him. Keep on, daily, listening and obeying the Holy Spirit and learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word so that we are enabled to overcome in our current and future situations.
Be Continually Filled with God's Spirit
We learn from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 23 and 24 how important it is for every born again Christian, to be continuously refilled, each day, with the anointing and the knowledge of the Holy Spirit. Every morning, early in the day, it is so important for your spirit and then your mind to be renewed by the Holy Spirit. An infilling of God's will and purposes are so vital to living a vibrant Christian life. Each day our very being requires a renewed fresh, untarnished attitude to everything that we think or say or do. Eventually we keep putting on the new self free from the effects of the previous day. We are living with a renewed and empowered spirit and mind. Christians are created to live a god like life and are able to do so because the nature of God lives in them. We walk in righteousness and the holiness of God's truth and not the deceptions and lies of the world around us. We are to live with an attitude of thankfulness that expresses our gratitude for our eternal salvation.
The Effectiveness of God's Word
Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 demonstrates, to us, the complete effectiveness of God's word for our whole being. The word of God, the Holy Bible, through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, is a living word of God's righteousness and truth. It is full of God's power, well able to energise our flagging spirit. It is more effective than a doctor's scalpel and even sharper in separating and penetrating our spirit and soul. Even the deeper parts of our nature; our whole being; are laid bare. It is able to reveal, expose, and judge our innermost thoughts and intentions. Every day and every moment it reveals where we are really at in our life and what we need to do to fulfil God's will and purposes. Keep on obeying the Holy Spirit. Keep on desiring a new infilling of the Holy Spirit. Always stay firmly founded on the Holy Bible, the living word of God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Don't Be Stubborn! - October 27th 2023]]>Fri, 27 Oct 2023 04:13:16 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/dont-be-stubborn-october-27th-2023Picture
Pharaoh Was Stubborn
A stubborn attitude towards God and His word, the Holy Bible, is a very dangerous stand to take. Those who keep pursuing this rebellious pathway and never repent, become like Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. We read from Exodus chapter 13 verse 15 that Pharaoh the king of Egypt, became stubborn and would not let the children of Israel, leave the land of Goshen. God allowed all the first born males of man and beast, in Egypt, to be killed. God had told Pharaoh through Moses, to let His people go. Pharaoh, however, hardened his heart and would not let God's people go. The result for Egypt was disastrous. Every person who is not born again must realise their own disastrous position, today. It is imperative that everyone repents of their sin and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and are thereby able to inherit eternal life. Everyone who is stubborn and won't repent, will be damned and go to eternal hell. Always remember the real you, your spirit, lives forever. The choice is yours. Your final destination is either heaven or hell.
Israel Was Stubborn
We read in Judges chapter 2 verses 19 to 21 that Israel was disobedient to God. God set judges in the land of Israel to guide and deliver the people from their enemies. When a judge died there was often a period of time before the next judge was appointed, to take their place. During this period the people reverted to their old ways. They acted more corruptly than previous generations and worshipped false gods instead of the one true God, Yahweh. They behaved so badly that they stirred up the anger of the Lord. They kept on disobeying God and continued in their own stubborn ways. The Israelites transgressed against God and broke their covenant with Him. God promised not to drive out their enemies before them because of their wickedness. As a nation they stubbornly opposed God and His law.
Saul Was a Stubborn King
King Saul was a rebellious and stubborn king of Israel. We learn about his rejection of God and his word in 1 Samuel chapter 15 verses 22 and 23. The people of Israel sacrificed animals to God to fulfil the provisions of the law but they were disobedient, as was their king. They rebelled and did not do what God desired. Their behaviour was likened to witchcraft. Witchcraft means that they were twisted in their beliefs just like many people, even some Christians, are today. These people under the leadership of King Saul, had rejected what Samuel and other godly people had shown them, was God's truth. Therefore, because of his ungodly behaviour, Saul was rejected by God. After a forty year reign he was replaced by King David, a man after God's own heart.
Don't Remain Stubborn
Even if you are stubborn and most people are, at some time in their life, if you repent from your heart, God will forgive you. Unfortunately, the Israelites of old would not listen to God and change their way of life. We read about Israel's stubbornness in Psalm 81 verses 11 and 12. God's people would not listen to His prophets. Why was this so? The same reason, that people who are unrepentant, follow, this very day. They reject God's way and walk after the counsels of their own minds and those of other people, rather than the ways of God's wisdom. Many people are often too proud to say they were wrong and then to be willing to change and follow God's ways. In order to follow God's ways you need to daily learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to all your circumstances.
Hard Hearts Will Not Listen
Zechariah chapter 7 verses 9 to12 records further details concerning Israel's continued stubbornness. They had forgotten true justice. Many showed little compassion and mercy to their fellow brothers and sisters. There was active oppression against widows and the fatherless. They were also against helping others and were also against those who were aliens and against those who helped their own poor. These people would not listen to God's messengers, His prophets. They shrugged their shoulders in defiance of God's word and stopped their ears so they could not hear. The world, their flesh and particularly Satan and his demons were setting the nation up, for a disastrous downfall. Disobedience to God and an unwillingness to obey His will and purposes will set anyone up for disaster. The Holy Spirit spoke through the lips of God's prophets then, as He also does through His godly leaders, today. Setting their hearts like flint, they opposed God and His word and eventually lost their whole country.
Stubborn and Stiff Necked
We learn from Acts chapter 7 verses 51 and 52 that those who reject God and His word end up in big trouble. Only those who repent of their sins will find forgiveness and eternal life. Paul, here, reiterated the plight of his own people. They still kept on resisting the Holy Spirit's pleading with them, to change. We likewise must not be stubborn in spirit and in our mind in resisting the Lord's pleas for us to change. Like their ancestors they kept on resisting God's will and kept persecuting the very ones who were trying to help them. Many times they killed God's messengers even as they finally killed the Just One, Jesus Christ. All who deliberately go against the will and purposes of God become betrayers and murderers of His love, His righteousness and His truth.
Stubbornness and Blindness
Disobedient people have only themselves to blame. They are the only person responsible for taking themselves to damnation in hell. The only One who can give them forgiveness and eternal life is Jesus Christ, the only Son of God. We read about mans' hardness of heart called his spirit or inner person, from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 17 and 18. It is so important not to keep on walking in the futility of our mind or in the ways of our flesh, the world around us and the foolishness of the devil. All who do live in the realm of darkness are blinded because of the ignorance of their hearts. Don't keep on the same path of blindness but repent of your evil ways and gain entry into God's Kingdom of Light. No matter what is your problem, don't be stubborn but be willing to change.
Resisting the Truth
The time of rejecting God's truth has already come for many people. We read about this from 2 Timothy chapter 4 verses 3 and 4. These people will reject the truth of God's word and will endeavour to pursue a Christianity of their own desires and will and not according to the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. They have itching ears and will only attend churches that basically follow the lies of the flesh and the current world circumstances. Teachers of the word who either don't know or only know incorrectly and then only for material benefit and financial gain, will be their mentors. Their attention will be concentrated on listening to fables and fascinating stories. Often this will deliberately veer away from the truth of God's word. If they repent from their useless understanding they will be rescued from their wanton backsliding. Many will forsake God's ways and their end will be disastrous. They can change and then follow God's righteous path but most, because of their stubborn hearts or spirits, will never return to the truth. We must pray for a softening of their spirit and understanding and their attitudes before it is too late. Keep to the narrow way of God's truth and His righteousness and eternal life will be your destiny! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

You Are a Saint
Every born again Christian is an eternal saint of the Lord. A saint is a human being that has been saved and has been sorry for their sins and has repented of them. God has forgiven them and their sins have been washed away through Christ's blood shed on the Cross, at Calvary. As a result the Holy Spirit has renewed their spirit or inner person and in the name of Jesus Christ and to the honour and glory of the Father, they have been granted everlasting life, from that time onwards. Throughout their life on earth they may make serious mistakes or have even wilfully sinned but whenever they repent they are restored to full fellowship rights, with the Father because of Jesus' sacrifice, on their behalf. It is important that every Christian truly repents of their sins and endeavours to live a sanctified life and not to keep on, habitually sinning, as a way of life.
Righteousness Gives Us Life
We are delivered from eternal death or separation from God and His goodness. This we learn from Proverbs chapter 10 verse 2. Many people are investing their lives in making millions of dollars, sometimes ethically and legally but oftentimes, under the table and deceitfully making big money to secure their future. This is in order to live and possess or desire this kind of life. This is the trademark of the 20th and 21st centuries. However, wickedness ultimately ends in disaster on earth and without repentance, results in damnation in hell. Righteousness is a Christian's right standing with God. By allowing God to direct you and provide for you and your life, you are laying a foundation for eternal life. It is mandatory that every Christian must obey the Holy Spirit's directions as well as consistently learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to all their current and future circumstances. In so doing they inherit righteousness through Christ and are consistently maintaining a life's journey from spiritual death to everlasting life.
Righteous People Are Bold
In Proverbs chapter 28 verse 1 we read that the wicked are very fearful of whatever new pandemic or warfare the enemy can promote. Why is this so? Those who trust in the Lord and believe His word and obey the Holy Spirit's directions, they have God's favour and His truth working in them. Those who are not being led by the Holy Spirit will be full of doubt and unbelief. As a result, Satan and his demons will play havoc with their mind and their emotions. Everyone must keep building up their spirit on the word of God. They only become strong in the Lord and His might as they do so and are enabled to overcome fear and depression. Doing this will enable you to know your God and to know you have God's victory in your life and that you can overcome your flesh, the world around you and the unseen demonic host.
Jesus Calls for Sinners
In Matthew chapter 9 verse 13 we learn that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees concerning their spiritual condition. They were self righteous and really needed to learn about God's mercy to all sinners, particularly to those who knew they were sinners. The Pharisees did not understand God's laws or deliberately flouted them. Jesus did not come to call to repentance the self proclaimed righteous who see no need to change or repent but He did come for those who knew they were sinners. These people recognised that their sin required forgiveness. No matter how many sins you have committed in your life or how badly they are rated, if you repent, they will be forgiven you and you will inherit eternal life. In God's sight, your sins are now under Christ's blood, and your spirit, your real person, is now justified and made righteous.
Righteousness Brings Peace
We read about the wonderful effect of being clothed in His righteousness from Isaiah chapter 32 verse 17. Righteousness brings the fulfilling result of peace. It also quietens our spirit and therefore quietens our mind, will and emotions. No longer will our personality be constantly wavering and unsettled. We will enjoy the confidence of knowing the security of living in Christ and having His righteousness, forever.
Knowing God Reveals Righteousness
Jeremiah chapter 9 verses 23 and 24 implores us not to be proud or boastful about the understanding of our life. Those who are truly strong in the Lord will only boast of the righteousness that can only be found in the Lord. The rich man is not to boast in his temporal satisfactions and the abundance of his wealth. However, we are to boast in the righteousness of God and His ways. Christians must honour God for who He is, without doubt. He is our eternal provider. The Lord practises loving kindness, justice and righteousness. These are the attributes that God delights in.
The Lord Is Our Righteousness
Judah and Israel, who willingly served the Lord, will have a new name. They also will be saved and dwell in safety. This we learn when reading Jeremiah chapter 23 verse 6. These are those that believe and are born again, through Christ's shed blood. These folk are all clothed in God's righteousness. They will honour their new name which will be the Lord Our Righteousness.
Abraham's Right Standing with God
Paul tells us about Abraham's faith in God, being credited to him for righteousness or right standing with God. These facts are recorded in Romans chapter 4 verses 17 to 24. The Lord promised Abraham – who had no heir at this time – that he would be the father of many nations. God gives life to all, who are spiritually dead, when they are willing to walk by faith and believe, what He has promised them, in His word. From hope to believing hope Abraham believed God that he, indeed, would become the father of many nations and have generations of countless descendants. When he considered his age and the weakness of his body, as good as dead – for he was a hundred years old – also that his wife, Sarah, was barren he kept on believing. He believed concerning His promise of a son. He grew even stronger in faith, giving glory to God. He was convinced that God was well able to do, what He had promised him. God's children must keep on walking by faith, in God's word, fully believing and trusting that God will do what He has promised them, in His word. The crediting of faith for righteousness was not only credited to Abraham but also his children, down through the ages. These people have been and are still believing that God's promises are true and amen. All who are faithful are clothed with the righteousness of their God.

Christ Makes Us Acceptable
We are told in 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30 and 31, that through Christ Jesus, we are made acceptable to the Father. It is from God the Father, through Jesus Christ, His son, that we have become righteous. We are also sanctified or made holy by obeying the Holy Spirit as we read and apply God's word to our daily lives. Christians are set apart, from the rest of humanity, by living a diligent life of faith in and through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We have been ransomed and made righteous and have full redemption, in Him, from the penalty of sin. Our boasting of our salvation and the gift of eternal life must never be on ourselves. Each born again believer must only boast in the Lord and all the glory must go to the Father through our acceptance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, for us, alone.
Jesus Was Made Sin, for Us
From 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21 we learn that Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, was made sin for us so that we could be made righteous in Him. Our spirit has inherited, through acceptance of His sacrifice for sins, on our behalf and subsequently, as a result of faith in Him and His word, the Holy Bible, we have been forgiven and redeemed for everlasting life. Each born again Christian has been placed in a right relationship with the Father, through Christ Jesus, alone. God the father, who is full of loving kindness, has clothed us with His righteousness!

Intercessory Prayer
When we board a train in London or Perth, and most likely other cities as well an announcement is made to mind the gap. For all mature Christians it is very important that they are involved in intercessory prayer. What do you mean? I mean prayer where the Holy Spirit lays a burden upon your spirit to intercede on behalf of another person or situation, that you may know about. It may be for a marriage partner or a child or children in your family. This burden could be also for another family, for a church, for a work mate or even for the government or your own city or country. You will have a deep groaning in your spirit to pray unceasingly for the person or situation involved. A burden from the Lord will keep you standing in the gap, in intercessory prayer, until the victory is won.
Intercessory Victory
To get an understanding of mighty intercession we turn to Isaiah chapter 53 verse 12. Here we learn about the prophecy of Jesus pouring out His divine soul on behalf of the sins and transgressions, of all mankind. He, who was sinless, became numbered with the transgressors and then made intercession for them. He was not only crucified physically but also His whole being was poured out, in obedience, to His Father's will and purposes; the eternal salvation upon all, who were willing to believe and receive His mighty intercession on their behalf. We must follow suit and do what the Father requires, in intercession, for others while here on earth.
Stand on the Word
When interceding for others for salvation or for any specific needs, always base your prayers on the word of God, the Holy Bible. A valuable verse for intercessory prayer is found in Psalm 119 verse 11. God's word hidden in our heart, nourishes our spirit and enables us to be established in God's wisdom and His ways. The word gives us a willingness to pray according to the directions of the Holy Spirit. Each day we become more able and established to use God's word to bring greater comfort and understanding as we pray. In learning the word, meditating upon it, confessing and applying the word our prayers become more effective in breaking Satan's and the demonic strongholds, over individual lives and situations.
Having Faith to Believe
The faith of a Christian increases exponentially when it is based on God's word. We learn about this from reading Romans chapter 10 verse 17. Every day, keep repeating and concentrating upon the word of faith which will empower you to be stronger in God's word and to be more ready and armed to stand in the gap. Faith in God's word doesn't just come from overcoming adverse circumstances or from even seeing miracles occur but it comes from knowing God's word and using it to give you greater resurrection power, in Christ Jesus. Standing on the veracity of God's word makes you far more able to want to keep believing and to keep standing, despite the circumstances and see God's will and purposes come to full fruition.
God Seeks Those Who Will Stand
In the Old Testament we read about a great tragedy involving the Israelites. We are informed of this tragedy in Ezekiel chapter 22 verse 30. The Lord searched for a man to stand in the gap for the nation of Israel but there was no one willing to do so. This person was to stand in the gap between the broken walls of Jerusalem. We are often requested, by the Holy Spirit, to stand in the gaps of other people's lives, which have been broken down by family disagreements or grief or by drink or drugs, even by loneliness or a backsliding from a knowledge of God's blessings upon them. As the Holy Spirit directs let us be willing to stand in the gap and see broken lives restored, often for eternity.
Our Overcoming Victory
There are times when we have to stand steadfast in the gaps in our own lives when the devil attacks our weaknesses and tries to undermine our faith in God and particularly, in God's word, the Holy Bible. However, all who are born of God, are able to obtain His wonderful victory. This marvellous news is revealed to our spirit from 1 John chapter 5 verse 4. Our victory is in overcoming our own fleshly desires and the lust of the world and the lies of the devil. How do we obtain this wonderful victory? It is obtained through consistent faith in Jesus and the power of His word, anointed and revealed to us, by the Holy Spirit.
Overcome Evil with Good
We often, as Christians, are assailed with evil. We do know who is the progenitor of all evil and deceit. It is always Satan and demons trying to work through ourselves or other people. We learn about an extremely important piece of overcoming power, as we willingly stand, in the gap, for good against evil. This important word we learn when reading Romans chapter 12 verse 21. We must not be overcome and conquered by evil but we are able to overcome evil with good. This includes good thoughts, good speech and good actions. When Satan puts evil thoughts in our mind about previous misdeeds we must reject them because we have repented of them and they have been washed away by Jesus' precious blood. Even more important is that these wrongs have been already forgotten by God. When we are slandered by lies and bad language we are to ignore it and in God's power, we stand in the gap by praying for our enemies. Evil actions against us we forgive and do not try to repay them in kind but rather we speak words of love and particularly words and actions that the word of God and the Holy Spirit, enable us to say and do. Our lives must be full of God's love so that we don't give the devil a place to cripple our spiritual life and that of other people, particularly fellow Christians.
Stand in the Gap for Healing
It is so important to stand in the gap for healing. We are to follow Jesus and be diligent in the use of God's healing power, given to all who truly believe. This healing is for ourselves, our marriage partner, our children and grandchildren, our workmates, our friends, those who attend our church, neighbours and whoever needs God's healing power in their lives. 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24 tells us that we have been delivered from the penalty of our sins and the power of sin and also granted His righteousness because of the stripes laid upon Him; this means we are healed. Healing from all kinds of diseases and accidents can take time, often many months or even years. We must be in agreement, with those who are afflicted, based on God's word. As born again Christians we intercede and believe that those being prayed for are being healed. To keep praying through we must realise, that like Jesus, we have been anointed by the Holy Spirit with God's healing power, to heal the sick.
Stand in the Gap for Finances
Stand in the gap for God's sufficient finances and provision. God's word informs us in Philippians chapter 4 verse 19, that God will supply all our needs according to His endless riches in heaven. You might be without a job or preferred type of work but know that your God will supply your need. There could well be a need for finances, even urgently. I well remember when I was much younger and with a wife and a burgeoning young family that I needed finance for my then current needs. The following Sunday, at the end of the service, someone handed me an envelope which I opened when we got home. It contained five hundred dollars or the equivalent of about two thousand dollars in today's currency. This met our needs and although we were still really short we kept praying and kept putting money into our church. In one of our direst financial moments, God supplied our needs. Always ask the Lord for His abundant provision. He will answer if we are willing to believe and importantly to be obedient to what He tells you to do. Whatever your financial needs ask the Lord for help and be obedient to follow through in whatever He tells you to do. You will get out of your financial mess and often very quickly, if you obey.
Bind Up Satan's Power
In Acts chapter 10 verse 38 we learn that many people have their lives bound up and blinded by the deceits of Satan. We are to stand steadfast in the resurrection power of the lord so that people can be delivered from Satanic oppression. This is often the basis for mental illnesses and deceptive understandings. We can stand in the gap for people to know, that through God's word, they can be set free. What a difference comes into the lives of those who accept Christ's pardon for their sins! Wherever we live we meet those who are slaves of the devil and live in bondage, in the kingdom of darkness. Keep praying earnestly, as the word of God and the Holy Spirit, give your spirit divine wisdom, as to a person's spiritual condition. Don't give up but keep on interceding until the Holy Spirit shows your spirit, that the battle is won! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
