Preach God's Word
In order to tell other people about the wonders of God's salvation, we must be willing to preach and teach God's word. Without teaching the word of God, the Holy Bible, you'll never get the major benefits that God intends you to have. The Lord's example is so practical and also so necessary. Jesus knew what was so important. It was to show people the reality of God's great mercy and demonstrate His almighty power. Many people of Israel, just as many people in our world today, were sick and weary of life. Jesus came to give them new hope and a new life. Those that know and practice God's compassion and grace must also preach and teach this same knowledge to others. People's needs are still the same and sometimes, even greater.
Repentance
The Lord requires that every person, who hears the gospel, the good news of God's salvation, must repent. We learn about the importance of repentance from Matthew chapter 3 verse 2. When the Holy Spirit convicts a person of sin, righteousness and judgement, then they are to respond, in repenting of their sins so that the Holy Spirit can enable them to change by renewing their inner person, their spirit. Many so called evangelists, ask people to just accept Jesus. In order to become a born again child of God, a person's inner person must be changed according to a willingness to change and a desire to become like God. In doing so, we are to forsake the world, the flesh and the devil. There must be a whole hearted change, by us, from walking as an ungodly person and becoming a person willing to embrace God's ways. After we have repented of our sins we must keep on a pathway of repentance knowing that we are now a member of the kingdom of heaven. Being a citizen of heaven we must be willing to carry out God's will and purposes in His way.
Forgiveness
To be enabled to walk God's way we must have a willingness to forgive others. First of all, know in your spirit, then your mind, that Jesus has fully forgiven you and as an everlasting result we must be willing to forgive ourselves as well as others. This means forgiving people their mistakes and even their intended wrongs against us. Colossians chapter 3 verse 14 informs us that we are graciously to forgive each other. Whatever is the real problem between our marriage partner and ourself or between family members or fellow Christians or between ourselves and friends or workmates, we are to wholeheartedly forgive them. Why should we do so? We are to forgive each other just as the Lord has forgiven us. When you have completed your part of forgiving others, leave the matter in the hands of your Father God He is the Righteous Judge of the whole Earth and He will always do what is right!
Healing
Every Christian is able to minister healing to other people, when they are sick. They are enabled to do so by believing God's word and allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through them. We read from Acts chapter 10 verse 38 how Jesus of Nazareth was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with great power by God the Father. This appears to be the main method that God used to draw people to Himself. Firstly, He taught the people about healing and then through God's power He healed them. He demonstrated to the people that God's power was far greater than the oppression of Satan, the devil. The people were made free in spirit, soul and body.
The Love of God
We read and learn about the real love of God from 1 John chapter 3 verses 14 to 16. As God's children we know that we have passed from death to life because we love our fellow Christian. If we don't love those whom we see and know how can we love God who as yet, we have not seen? If we don't love with the God kind of love we remain, like most people in the world, in spiritual death. If we don't love others as God loves us we become spiritual murderers. No one who retains hatred and wrong intentions towards others, has eternal life abiding in them. Each Christian, as they listen to the Holy Spirit and pursue learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to their life and circumstances can remain in a state of hatred towards others. Daily, we are learning about God's precious love for us, and His willingness to lay down His life for all humanity. We likewise must also, learn to put others before ourselves. In doing so we become willing to lay or put down our life in deference to other people.
Be Filled with Compassion
Jesus was moved with compassion and pity for the crowd. This we read from Matthew chapter 9 verse 36. Why was this so? These people were dispirited and distressed. Many people, today, also require compassionate help in dire circumstances. Leaders of churches and all in authority over Christian groups and organisations, must show those in need, the same compassion that Jesus showed. This same compassion is necessary to flow between every born again child of God. As we do so the world will then know that we really are the children of our loving God. Compassion ,working by faith , moves God to action.
Overcomers of the World and Satan
Every Christian ,who truly loves God, is an overcomer of the flesh, the world and the devil. In Christ we have overcome the wickedness that opposes God and His will and purposes. We read about this in 1 John chapter 5 verses 4 and 5. Every born again believer is victorious. If they consistently obey the Holy Spirit and diligently read, confess and apply God's word, daily, they will be victorious. Victory is guaranteed to all those who are obedient. They become conquerors, through consistent faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, as well as the diligent application of the revelation knowledge contained in His word, the Holy Bible. Teach and preach that everyone, who is a genuine believer, can become a wonderful overcomer.
The Cleansing Power of Christ's Blood
If Christians, at any time, think, say or do something which is against God and His law of love, they are to quickly repent of these things. They claim the cleansing power of His shed blood that it does completely wash away the effects, including the guilt and shame of their sin. This we learn when we read 1 John 1 verse 7. We must always keep on walking, in the light of God's word, the Holy Bible. Every Christian can continue living in beautiful fellowship with one another if they earnestly desire the power of Christ's blood, to avail on their behalf. The blood of Jesus Christ is well able to cleanse away the effects of all our sin no matter what we have done or how bad we have been.
Our Better Covenant
We learn from Hebrews chapter 8 verses 6 and 13 that our New Testament covenant with God, is far better, for our eternal redemption, than the Old Testament covenant that God had made with Israel of old. It is far better than the Levitical covenant that God had made with Israel through Moses. Why is this so? It is so because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the mediator. God, Himself, is the arbiter of the new and better covenant between God the Father and mankind. This covenant unites man with God the Father, through Jesus Christ, God's Son. It has been enacted or carried out and indeed has its foundation, resting upon better promises. When God speaks of a new covenant He makes the first one, obsolete. That which was becoming obsolete has now been completely replaced by the new covenant. As a covenant it has been annulled and now is mainly used as a record of God's mighty dealings and faithfulness, with mankind, through the nation of Israel, of old. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

<![CDATA[Healed Spirit, Soul and Body -November 27th 2023]]>Mon, 27 Nov 2023 03:34:30 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/healed-spirit-soul-and-body-november-27th-2023Picture
Praise God for His Healing Power
We read in Psalm 103 verses 2 to 4 that we should always praise the Lord lovingly, for all His daily blessings upon us. He pardons us from all our sins so that we do not have to fret or fume about wrong thoughts, speech or actions from our present or even our past situations or circumstances. We are completely healed because He heals our spirit, our soul and our body. It is a simple but remarkable result of our repentance and His forgiveness that allows His mercy and compassion to flow to us. All our diseases, physical or mental, can be healed. This means not just some but all. Our very life is redeemed from lack and disease and from eternal damnation in hell.
Jesus Has Done It for Us
From Isaiah chapter 53 verses 4 and 5 we learn that we need not grieve about any circumstance that comes our way in life. Our children may be rebelling; family relationships can be fractured; finances may be down; health can be poor. So what! Jesus' death and resurrection and forgiveness, through His shed blood, has covered it all and given each member of the body of Christ, His resurrection power to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. The Lord was crushed for our wickedness. He took our place and the punishment that our sin required so that with His stripes and wounds we are healed spirit, soul and body. We are free and we can remain that way, forevermore.
Go With His Message
As His born again blood bought children we must preach and teach His message, not our own. Our task is to show others God's plan of redemption and His method of healing. From Matthew chapter 10 verses 7 to 15 we learn about the Lord's method and ways of ordaining His chosen messengers. His message was that the kingdom of heaven was then available then and is just as much, today. No one knows how long they will live upon planet earth. Get ready, now. Another time may be too late! Our job is to tell others, even other Christians, that Jesus Christ heals their mind, their emotions, their body, indeed every part of their being. Every disease can be healed. Often people are oppressed by demons and if they are non Christians, they can even be possessed. In the name of Jesus bind up the oppression of demons and cast out, in Jesus' name, their possession of people, as required. Don't be worried but let the Lord provide for you out of His abundant resources. Whereever you go stay with believers who are willing to aid God's work. Pray a blessing of peace on all who receive God's word. However, those who are not willing to receive you and God's message of repentance and forgiveness of sins, shake off the dust of your feet against them. This is a reminder of their rejection of God's truth and righteousness. Those who have heard and do not want to believe will find it will be more favourable, in the days of God's judgement, for Sodom and Gomorrah, than for them.
The Broken Hearted Are Healed
Most people in the world and sad to say, some in God's body, the church, are broken hearted. They are broken in their heart or spirit by what people have said or done to them. Often very demeaning personal situations and the result of poor health and their involvement in tragic accidents and the consequent loss of a loved one, has enabled these broken situations to occur. The Lord can heal all who are broken hearted. We read about God's healing power from Psalm 147 verse 3. Jesus is well able to heal everyone from being dispirited or downcast and also bind up the wounds of the past or current circumstances. Healing demands that a person forgives other people who have been involved in hurting them. Wonderful spiritual medicine is available, to all who are willing to believe. They must be daily willing to learn, read, meditate or think upon, confess and apply God's word to their circumstances, whatever they may be. Begin taking and keep on taking your spiritual medicine and you will experience God's healing hand changing your situations and healing your spirit, soul and body.
Peter's Ministry to Aeneas
Aeneas had been bed ridden for eight years. We read about the apostle Peter's ministry to him in Acts chapter 9 verses 33 to 35. Peter simply said to Aeneas that Jesus, the Christ, has healed you. In reality this is what Jesus is saying to all who are sick and bed ridden or anxious or depressed, this very day. It wasn't Peter, the apostle, who healed Aeneas but it was Jesus, the Son of God. He is the One who heals people, this very day. Jesus heals through all His faithful messengers who believe in His word and power right now, in 2023. What did Aeneas do? He used the faith God had given him to believe that what was preached to him by Peter, was true. Aeneas got up, immediately, in obedience, rolled up his bed and went forth a healed and blessed disciple of Jesus Christ, of Nazareth. All in Lydda, who witnessed the miracle , turned their hearts to the Lord. Healing was Jesus' and should be our greatest proof of the wonderful salvation and healing that comes from faith in His name.
Jesus Heals Spirit, Soul and Body
When reading and meditating upon God's word as recorded in Psalm 103 verses 2 and 3 we learn that the Lord's healing is absolutely complete. Every part of our being can be healed; spirit, soul and body. As we praise the Lord we become enthusiastic and thankful for His mighty blessings upon us. When we repent of our sins He not only forgives us but also heals all our diseases, even the so called, incurable ones. Even more He redeems our lives from hell and eternal damnation and lavishes upon us His loving kindness and tender mercies. He also satisfies our earthly lives with good things. The most blessed being our redemption from all our wickedness. He has made us inheritors of His eternal life.
Sanctified Children of God
We read in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 that our God of peace is constantly sanctifying us, that is making us more holy, so that we can be more like Him. As we read and apply God's word and listen to and obey the Holy Spirit we are being changed, by Him, from glory to glory. Each day he is separating us from the profane things of the flesh, the world and the devil. He is making us a consecrated people in our thoughts, in our speech and in our actions. Our whole spirit, soul and body is being set apart to do His will and purposes. This is so we can become complete and blameless, in Him, when He comes to take us home to glory, in heaven. This has been, so far, for most Christians, one or two believers at a time. However, one day, at the conclusion at this age of mankind, He will come and take home the whole of the remaining church. The church is the real body of all true believers. Keep looking upward for His mighty return for all His born again children. In the meantime remain believing in Him and His word and being lavished with His wonderful blessings. Above all believe that His power, that is delivered to you through the work of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Holy Bible, is real and alive in you. You are, without doubt, as you keep believing, healed in your spirit, your soul and your body! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Keep On being Filled - November 23rd 2023]]>Thu, 23 Nov 2023 03:30:43 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/keep-on-being-filled-november-23rd-2023Picture
Quenching Spiritual Thirst
The human body requires consistent drinking of water if it is to remain healthy. The brain needs consistent thinking through and gaining solutions to every day problems to remain highly functional. The spirit of a person also requires stimulation in order for a person's interest to be fostered by listening to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. When the spirit of a person is reborn from above it is filled with the wonder of the Holy Spirit. To keep charged with the desire to fulfil God's will and purposes it very much needs a constant infilling of the anointing and empowering of God, based on His word.
The Infilling of the Holy Spirit
On the day of Pentecost, fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, His disciples and those believers, gathered in the upper room at Jerusalem, were filled with the Holy Spirit. We read about this amazing event from Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 4. Suddenly, there came a sound, from heaven, as of a rushing violent wind that filled all the house where they were sitting. There appeared tongues as of fire resting upon each person, as they received the Holy Spirit. The whole beings of these people were filled and they all began speaking in different tongues or languages. They were given this ability to speak in unknown languages, through the unction of the Holy Spirit.
Joel's Prophecy
In the Old Testament in Joel chapter 2 verses 29 to 30 there is a great promise of the Holy Spirit, coming upon God's people. The Holy Spirit will be poured out and would become available to all mankind; that is, all who were willing to believe and receive. The young men and women would prophesy. The old men would have dreams and the young men would see visions. Even servants, both male and female, would have the Holy Spirit poured out upon their recreated spirits.
Paul Is Baptised for Ministry
We read about the apostle Paul, after his vision on the road to Damascus, being filled with the Holy Spirit. This is recorded in Acts chapter 9 verses 17 and 18. Ananias, a servant of the Lord, entered the house where Paul was residing on Straight Street, Damascus. Ananias laid his hands on Paul and told him that the Lord Jesus, who had appeared to Paul, had now sent him to heal his physical blindness. He also was sent so that Paul would be filled with the Holy Spirit. This empowerment was to be given to Paul so that he could teach about Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to both Jews and Gentiles.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit for All believers
We find in Acts chapter 19 verses 1 to 7 that all believers need to be baptised with the Holy Spirit. There is really only one Lord, one faith and one baptism for all believers. Paul travelled from Corinth to Ephesus. There he found people who had believed in Jesus Christ, as their Messiah or Lord and Saviour, but did not know about the need for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This unfortunate situation often occurs in many groups of believers around the world, even to this very day. These people had been baptised by immersion, by John the Baptist, but did not know about being infilled by the Holy Spirit. They had believed and repented but, as yet, were not anointed for God's service. Paul now baptised them again in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He then laid hands on them so that they might receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came upon them and then they began speaking in unknown tongues and prophesying. All together there were twelve men who were then baptised into the body of Christ, the real church, by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit Is in All Believers.
We read in John chapter 14 verses 16 and17 that the Holy Spirit is continually in them and abiding with all believers. He is the Spirit of Truth and has the amazing characteristics of being our Teacher, Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener and Stand By. He lives in and resides with His children, forever. The world, all those who are not born again, including a majority of so called Christians, are not indwelt by the Holy Spirit. All these people, even so called Christians, are not really part of the body of Christ, the Church. Unfortunately they do not know Him nor understand His word. However, His blood bought born again Christians, know Him. They desire constant renewing of the Holy Spirit's power in their lives, day by day. The Holy Spirit magnifies the Lord Jesus and gives each true Christian His anointing, for the empowerment they require for their daily lives.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us Life
The Holy Spirit of God gives us our real spiritual life. We read about this vital information from 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 6. All believers are qualified by the Holy Spirit, to be ministers or spiritual exponents of God's new covenant with mankind contained in the New Testament. We are empowered to inform other people about their need for salvation in Jesus Christ. It is not just an explanation of the written code but it is according to the Holy Spirit's revelation of God's word. The depth and depravity of sin and the necessity of obeying God's word and purposes, is revealed. As we give heed to the Holy Spirit, on a daily basis, the things of God are revealed to our spirit and then by our spirit to our mind.
Keep Sowing to the Spirit.
All who earnestly desire to obey God and fulfil what the Holy Spirit tells them to do will learn to sow things of eternal value into their daily circumstances. This we learn from Galatians chapter 6 verse 8. If we indulge in a major way into the things of the flesh, the world and the devil then we are sowing corruption and deceit into our lives. This is a life that is founded upon sinful and worldly impulses and disgraces. Eventually, the end is ruin and destruction in our earthly life and finally damnation and eternal existence in hell. If we sow into the things of the spirit we gain forgiveness of our sins including God's wonderful blessings and above all, eternal life in heaven with Him. Keep on, daily, listening and obeying the Holy Spirit and learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word so that we are enabled to overcome in our current and future situations.
Be Continually Filled with God's Spirit
We learn from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 23 and 24 how important it is for every born again Christian, to be continuously refilled, each day, with the anointing and the knowledge of the Holy Spirit. Every morning, early in the day, it is so important for your spirit and then your mind to be renewed by the Holy Spirit. An infilling of God's will and purposes are so vital to living a vibrant Christian life. Each day our very being requires a renewed fresh, untarnished attitude to everything that we think or say or do. Eventually we keep putting on the new self free from the effects of the previous day. We are living with a renewed and empowered spirit and mind. Christians are created to live a god like life and are able to do so because the nature of God lives in them. We walk in righteousness and the holiness of God's truth and not the deceptions and lies of the world around us. We are to live with an attitude of thankfulness that expresses our gratitude for our eternal salvation.
The Effectiveness of God's Word
Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 demonstrates, to us, the complete effectiveness of God's word for our whole being. The word of God, the Holy Bible, through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, is a living word of God's righteousness and truth. It is full of God's power, well able to energise our flagging spirit. It is more effective than a doctor's scalpel and even sharper in separating and penetrating our spirit and soul. Even the deeper parts of our nature; our whole being; are laid bare. It is able to reveal, expose, and judge our innermost thoughts and intentions. Every day and every moment it reveals where we are really at in our life and what we need to do to fulfil God's will and purposes. Keep on obeying the Holy Spirit. Keep on desiring a new infilling of the Holy Spirit. Always stay firmly founded on the Holy Bible, the living word of God!
<![CDATA[Don't Be Stubborn! - October 27th 2023]]>Fri, 27 Oct 2023 04:13:16 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/dont-be-stubborn-october-27th-2023Picture
Pharaoh Was Stubborn
A stubborn attitude towards God and His word, the Holy Bible, is a very dangerous stand to take. Those who keep pursuing this rebellious pathway and never repent, become like Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. We read from Exodus chapter 13 verse 15 that Pharaoh the king of Egypt, became stubborn and would not let the children of Israel, leave the land of Goshen. God allowed all the first born males of man and beast, in Egypt, to be killed. God had told Pharaoh through Moses, to let His people go. Pharaoh, however, hardened his heart and would not let God's people go. The result for Egypt was disastrous. Every person who is not born again must realise their own disastrous position, today. It is imperative that everyone repents of their sin and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and are thereby able to inherit eternal life. Everyone who is stubborn and won't repent, will be damned and go to eternal hell. Always remember the real you, your spirit, lives forever. The choice is yours. Your final destination is either heaven or hell.
Israel Was Stubborn
We read in Judges chapter 2 verses 19 to 21 that Israel was disobedient to God. God set judges in the land of Israel to guide and deliver the people from their enemies. When a judge died there was often a period of time before the next judge was appointed, to take their place. During this period the people reverted to their old ways. They acted more corruptly than previous generations and worshipped false gods instead of the one true God, Yahweh. They behaved so badly that they stirred up the anger of the Lord. They kept on disobeying God and continued in their own stubborn ways. The Israelites transgressed against God and broke their covenant with Him. God promised not to drive out their enemies before them because of their wickedness. As a nation they stubbornly opposed God and His law.
Saul Was a Stubborn King
King Saul was a rebellious and stubborn king of Israel. We learn about his rejection of God and his word in 1 Samuel chapter 15 verses 22 and 23. The people of Israel sacrificed animals to God to fulfil the provisions of the law but they were disobedient, as was their king. They rebelled and did not do what God desired. Their behaviour was likened to witchcraft. Witchcraft means that they were twisted in their beliefs just like many people, even some Christians, are today. These people under the leadership of King Saul, had rejected what Samuel and other godly people had shown them, was God's truth. Therefore, because of his ungodly behaviour, Saul was rejected by God. After a forty year reign he was replaced by King David, a man after God's own heart.
Don't Remain Stubborn
Even if you are stubborn and most people are, at some time in their life, if you repent from your heart, God will forgive you. Unfortunately, the Israelites of old would not listen to God and change their way of life. We read about Israel's stubbornness in Psalm 81 verses 11 and 12. God's people would not listen to His prophets. Why was this so? The same reason, that people who are unrepentant, follow, this very day. They reject God's way and walk after the counsels of their own minds and those of other people, rather than the ways of God's wisdom. Many people are often too proud to say they were wrong and then to be willing to change and follow God's ways. In order to follow God's ways you need to daily learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, the Holy Bible, to all your circumstances.
Hard Hearts Will Not Listen
Zechariah chapter 7 verses 9 to12 records further details concerning Israel's continued stubbornness. They had forgotten true justice. Many showed little compassion and mercy to their fellow brothers and sisters. There was active oppression against widows and the fatherless. They were also against helping others and were also against those who were aliens and against those who helped their own poor. These people would not listen to God's messengers, His prophets. They shrugged their shoulders in defiance of God's word and stopped their ears so they could not hear. The world, their flesh and particularly Satan and his demons were setting the nation up, for a disastrous downfall. Disobedience to God and an unwillingness to obey His will and purposes will set anyone up for disaster. The Holy Spirit spoke through the lips of God's prophets then, as He also does through His godly leaders, today. Setting their hearts like flint, they opposed God and His word and eventually lost their whole country.
Stubborn and Stiff Necked
We learn from Acts chapter 7 verses 51 and 52 that those who reject God and His word end up in big trouble. Only those who repent of their sins will find forgiveness and eternal life. Paul, here, reiterated the plight of his own people. They still kept on resisting the Holy Spirit's pleading with them, to change. We likewise must not be stubborn in spirit and in our mind in resisting the Lord's pleas for us to change. Like their ancestors they kept on resisting God's will and kept persecuting the very ones who were trying to help them. Many times they killed God's messengers even as they finally killed the Just One, Jesus Christ. All who deliberately go against the will and purposes of God become betrayers and murderers of His love, His righteousness and His truth.
Stubbornness and Blindness
Disobedient people have only themselves to blame. They are the only person responsible for taking themselves to damnation in hell. The only One who can give them forgiveness and eternal life is Jesus Christ, the only Son of God. We read about mans' hardness of heart called his spirit or inner person, from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 17 and 18. It is so important not to keep on walking in the futility of our mind or in the ways of our flesh, the world around us and the foolishness of the devil. All who do live in the realm of darkness are blinded because of the ignorance of their hearts. Don't keep on the same path of blindness but repent of your evil ways and gain entry into God's Kingdom of Light. No matter what is your problem, don't be stubborn but be willing to change.
Resisting the Truth
The time of rejecting God's truth has already come for many people. We read about this from 2 Timothy chapter 4 verses 3 and 4. These people will reject the truth of God's word and will endeavour to pursue a Christianity of their own desires and will and not according to the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. They have itching ears and will only attend churches that basically follow the lies of the flesh and the current world circumstances. Teachers of the word who either don't know or only know incorrectly and then only for material benefit and financial gain, will be their mentors. Their attention will be concentrated on listening to fables and fascinating stories. Often this will deliberately veer away from the truth of God's word. If they repent from their useless understanding they will be rescued from their wanton backsliding. Many will forsake God's ways and their end will be disastrous. They can change and then follow God's righteous path but most, because of their stubborn hearts or spirits, will never return to the truth. We must pray for a softening of their spirit and understanding and their attitudes before it is too late. Keep to the narrow way of God's truth and His righteousness and eternal life will be your destiny!

<![CDATA[Clothed in His Righteousness - October 21- 2023]]>Sat, 21 Oct 2023 04:10:21 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/clothed-in-his-righteousness-october-21-2023Picture
You Are a Saint
Every born again Christian is an eternal saint of the Lord. A saint is a human being that has been saved and has been sorry for their sins and has repented of them. God has forgiven them and their sins have been washed away through Christ's blood shed on the Cross, at Calvary. As a result the Holy Spirit has renewed their spirit or inner person and in the name of Jesus Christ and to the honour and glory of the Father, they have been granted everlasting life, from that time onwards. Throughout their life on earth they may make serious mistakes or have even wilfully sinned but whenever they repent they are restored to full fellowship rights, with the Father because of Jesus' sacrifice, on their behalf. It is important that every Christian truly repents of their sins and endeavours to live a sanctified life and not to keep on, habitually sinning, as a way of life.
Righteousness Gives Us Life
We are delivered from eternal death or separation from God and His goodness. This we learn from Proverbs chapter 10 verse 2. Many people are investing their lives in making millions of dollars, sometimes ethically and legally but oftentimes, under the table and deceitfully making big money to secure their future. This is in order to live and possess or desire this kind of life. This is the trademark of the 20th and 21st centuries. However, wickedness ultimately ends in disaster on earth and without repentance, results in damnation in hell. Righteousness is a Christian's right standing with God. By allowing God to direct you and provide for you and your life, you are laying a foundation for eternal life. It is mandatory that every Christian must obey the Holy Spirit's directions as well as consistently learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to all their current and future circumstances. In so doing they inherit righteousness through Christ and are consistently maintaining a life's journey from spiritual death to everlasting life.
Righteous People Are Bold
In Proverbs chapter 28 verse 1 we read that the wicked are very fearful of whatever new pandemic or warfare the enemy can promote. Why is this so? Those who trust in the Lord and believe His word and obey the Holy Spirit's directions, they have God's favour and His truth working in them. Those who are not being led by the Holy Spirit will be full of doubt and unbelief. As a result, Satan and his demons will play havoc with their mind and their emotions. Everyone must keep building up their spirit on the word of God. They only become strong in the Lord and His might as they do so and are enabled to overcome fear and depression. Doing this will enable you to know your God and to know you have God's victory in your life and that you can overcome your flesh, the world around you and the unseen demonic host.
Jesus Calls for Sinners
In Matthew chapter 9 verse 13 we learn that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees concerning their spiritual condition. They were self righteous and really needed to learn about God's mercy to all sinners, particularly to those who knew they were sinners. The Pharisees did not understand God's laws or deliberately flouted them. Jesus did not come to call to repentance the self proclaimed righteous who see no need to change or repent but He did come for those who knew they were sinners. These people recognised that their sin required forgiveness. No matter how many sins you have committed in your life or how badly they are rated, if you repent, they will be forgiven you and you will inherit eternal life. In God's sight, your sins are now under Christ's blood, and your spirit, your real person, is now justified and made righteous.
Righteousness Brings Peace
We read about the wonderful effect of being clothed in His righteousness from Isaiah chapter 32 verse 17. Righteousness brings the fulfilling result of peace. It also quietens our spirit and therefore quietens our mind, will and emotions. No longer will our personality be constantly wavering and unsettled. We will enjoy the confidence of knowing the security of living in Christ and having His righteousness, forever.
Knowing God Reveals Righteousness
Jeremiah chapter 9 verses 23 and 24 implores us not to be proud or boastful about the understanding of our life. Those who are truly strong in the Lord will only boast of the righteousness that can only be found in the Lord. The rich man is not to boast in his temporal satisfactions and the abundance of his wealth. However, we are to boast in the righteousness of God and His ways. Christians must honour God for who He is, without doubt. He is our eternal provider. The Lord practises loving kindness, justice and righteousness. These are the attributes that God delights in.
The Lord Is Our Righteousness
Judah and Israel, who willingly served the Lord, will have a new name. They also will be saved and dwell in safety. This we learn when reading Jeremiah chapter 23 verse 6. These are those that believe and are born again, through Christ's shed blood. These folk are all clothed in God's righteousness. They will honour their new name which will be the Lord Our Righteousness.
Abraham's Right Standing with God
Paul tells us about Abraham's faith in God, being credited to him for righteousness or right standing with God. These facts are recorded in Romans chapter 4 verses 17 to 24. The Lord promised Abraham – who had no heir at this time – that he would be the father of many nations. God gives life to all, who are spiritually dead, when they are willing to walk by faith and believe, what He has promised them, in His word. From hope to believing hope Abraham believed God that he, indeed, would become the father of many nations and have generations of countless descendants. When he considered his age and the weakness of his body, as good as dead – for he was a hundred years old – also that his wife, Sarah, was barren he kept on believing. He believed concerning His promise of a son. He grew even stronger in faith, giving glory to God. He was convinced that God was well able to do, what He had promised him. God's children must keep on walking by faith, in God's word, fully believing and trusting that God will do what He has promised them, in His word. The crediting of faith for righteousness was not only credited to Abraham but also his children, down through the ages. These people have been and are still believing that God's promises are true and amen. All who are faithful are clothed with the righteousness of their God.

Christ Makes Us Acceptable
We are told in 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 30 and 31, that through Christ Jesus, we are made acceptable to the Father. It is from God the Father, through Jesus Christ, His son, that we have become righteous. We are also sanctified or made holy by obeying the Holy Spirit as we read and apply God's word to our daily lives. Christians are set apart, from the rest of humanity, by living a diligent life of faith in and through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We have been ransomed and made righteous and have full redemption, in Him, from the penalty of sin. Our boasting of our salvation and the gift of eternal life must never be on ourselves. Each born again believer must only boast in the Lord and all the glory must go to the Father through our acceptance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, for us, alone.
Jesus Was Made Sin, for Us
From 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21 we learn that Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, was made sin for us so that we could be made righteous in Him. Our spirit has inherited, through acceptance of His sacrifice for sins, on our behalf and subsequently, as a result of faith in Him and His word, the Holy Bible, we have been forgiven and redeemed for everlasting life. Each born again Christian has been placed in a right relationship with the Father, through Christ Jesus, alone. God the father, who is full of loving kindness, has clothed us with His righteousness! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[stand in the Gap - October 14th 2023]]>Sat, 14 Oct 2023 04:08:30 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/stand-in-the-gap-october-14th-2023Picture
Intercessory Prayer
When we board a train in London or Perth, and most likely other cities as well an announcement is made to mind the gap. For all mature Christians it is very important that they are involved in intercessory prayer. What do you mean? I mean prayer where the Holy Spirit lays a burden upon your spirit to intercede on behalf of another person or situation, that you may know about. It may be for a marriage partner or a child or children in your family. This burden could be also for another family, for a church, for a work mate or even for the government or your own city or country. You will have a deep groaning in your spirit to pray unceasingly for the person or situation involved. A burden from the Lord will keep you standing in the gap, in intercessory prayer, until the victory is won.
Intercessory Victory
To get an understanding of mighty intercession we turn to Isaiah chapter 53 verse 12. Here we learn about the prophecy of Jesus pouring out His divine soul on behalf of the sins and transgressions, of all mankind. He, who was sinless, became numbered with the transgressors and then made intercession for them. He was not only crucified physically but also His whole being was poured out, in obedience, to His Father's will and purposes; the eternal salvation upon all, who were willing to believe and receive His mighty intercession on their behalf. We must follow suit and do what the Father requires, in intercession, for others while here on earth.
Stand on the Word
When interceding for others for salvation or for any specific needs, always base your prayers on the word of God, the Holy Bible. A valuable verse for intercessory prayer is found in Psalm 119 verse 11. God's word hidden in our heart, nourishes our spirit and enables us to be established in God's wisdom and His ways. The word gives us a willingness to pray according to the directions of the Holy Spirit. Each day we become more able and established to use God's word to bring greater comfort and understanding as we pray. In learning the word, meditating upon it, confessing and applying the word our prayers become more effective in breaking Satan's and the demonic strongholds, over individual lives and situations.
Having Faith to Believe
The faith of a Christian increases exponentially when it is based on God's word. We learn about this from reading Romans chapter 10 verse 17. Every day, keep repeating and concentrating upon the word of faith which will empower you to be stronger in God's word and to be more ready and armed to stand in the gap. Faith in God's word doesn't just come from overcoming adverse circumstances or from even seeing miracles occur but it comes from knowing God's word and using it to give you greater resurrection power, in Christ Jesus. Standing on the veracity of God's word makes you far more able to want to keep believing and to keep standing, despite the circumstances and see God's will and purposes come to full fruition.
God Seeks Those Who Will Stand
In the Old Testament we read about a great tragedy involving the Israelites. We are informed of this tragedy in Ezekiel chapter 22 verse 30. The Lord searched for a man to stand in the gap for the nation of Israel but there was no one willing to do so. This person was to stand in the gap between the broken walls of Jerusalem. We are often requested, by the Holy Spirit, to stand in the gaps of other people's lives, which have been broken down by family disagreements or grief or by drink or drugs, even by loneliness or a backsliding from a knowledge of God's blessings upon them. As the Holy Spirit directs let us be willing to stand in the gap and see broken lives restored, often for eternity.
Our Overcoming Victory
There are times when we have to stand steadfast in the gaps in our own lives when the devil attacks our weaknesses and tries to undermine our faith in God and particularly, in God's word, the Holy Bible. However, all who are born of God, are able to obtain His wonderful victory. This marvellous news is revealed to our spirit from 1 John chapter 5 verse 4. Our victory is in overcoming our own fleshly desires and the lust of the world and the lies of the devil. How do we obtain this wonderful victory? It is obtained through consistent faith in Jesus and the power of His word, anointed and revealed to us, by the Holy Spirit.
Overcome Evil with Good
We often, as Christians, are assailed with evil. We do know who is the progenitor of all evil and deceit. It is always Satan and demons trying to work through ourselves or other people. We learn about an extremely important piece of overcoming power, as we willingly stand, in the gap, for good against evil. This important word we learn when reading Romans chapter 12 verse 21. We must not be overcome and conquered by evil but we are able to overcome evil with good. This includes good thoughts, good speech and good actions. When Satan puts evil thoughts in our mind about previous misdeeds we must reject them because we have repented of them and they have been washed away by Jesus' precious blood. Even more important is that these wrongs have been already forgotten by God. When we are slandered by lies and bad language we are to ignore it and in God's power, we stand in the gap by praying for our enemies. Evil actions against us we forgive and do not try to repay them in kind but rather we speak words of love and particularly words and actions that the word of God and the Holy Spirit, enable us to say and do. Our lives must be full of God's love so that we don't give the devil a place to cripple our spiritual life and that of other people, particularly fellow Christians.
Stand in the Gap for Healing
It is so important to stand in the gap for healing. We are to follow Jesus and be diligent in the use of God's healing power, given to all who truly believe. This healing is for ourselves, our marriage partner, our children and grandchildren, our workmates, our friends, those who attend our church, neighbours and whoever needs God's healing power in their lives. 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24 tells us that we have been delivered from the penalty of our sins and the power of sin and also granted His righteousness because of the stripes laid upon Him; this means we are healed. Healing from all kinds of diseases and accidents can take time, often many months or even years. We must be in agreement, with those who are afflicted, based on God's word. As born again Christians we intercede and believe that those being prayed for are being healed. To keep praying through we must realise, that like Jesus, we have been anointed by the Holy Spirit with God's healing power, to heal the sick.
Stand in the Gap for Finances
Stand in the gap for God's sufficient finances and provision. God's word informs us in Philippians chapter 4 verse 19, that God will supply all our needs according to His endless riches in heaven. You might be without a job or preferred type of work but know that your God will supply your need. There could well be a need for finances, even urgently. I well remember when I was much younger and with a wife and a burgeoning young family that I needed finance for my then current needs. The following Sunday, at the end of the service, someone handed me an envelope which I opened when we got home. It contained five hundred dollars or the equivalent of about two thousand dollars in today's currency. This met our needs and although we were still really short we kept praying and kept putting money into our church. In one of our direst financial moments, God supplied our needs. Always ask the Lord for His abundant provision. He will answer if we are willing to believe and importantly to be obedient to what He tells you to do. Whatever your financial needs ask the Lord for help and be obedient to follow through in whatever He tells you to do. You will get out of your financial mess and often very quickly, if you obey.
Bind Up Satan's Power
In Acts chapter 10 verse 38 we learn that many people have their lives bound up and blinded by the deceits of Satan. We are to stand steadfast in the resurrection power of the lord so that people can be delivered from Satanic oppression. This is often the basis for mental illnesses and deceptive understandings. We can stand in the gap for people to know, that through God's word, they can be set free. What a difference comes into the lives of those who accept Christ's pardon for their sins! Wherever we live we meet those who are slaves of the devil and live in bondage, in the kingdom of darkness. Keep praying earnestly, as the word of God and the Holy Spirit, give your spirit divine wisdom, as to a person's spiritual condition. Don't give up but keep on interceding until the Holy Spirit shows your spirit, that the battle is won! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Hold Tight to God's Word - October 9th 2023]]>Mon, 09 Oct 2023 03:46:34 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/hold-tight-to-gods-word-october-9th-2023Picture
Hold Fast to God's Word of Life
As you mature in your Christian walk you will have probably listened to, at least hundreds of sermons with many glimpses of sound biblical teaching and wisdom. At times in your life, you may not receive as much knowledge as you desire or need. It is essential that you don't lose track of where you are, spiritually. Keep listening to your spirit or inner person. The Holy Spirit will convict you of where you are at and will bring back to your spirit who will then inform your mind, concerning those things from God's word which are pertinent to your current spiritual situation. Hold on and grasp with both hands the eternal values that will guide you, right now.
Hold On to Your Healing
We have learnt or we are learning to keep repeating over and over, the importance of God's healing verses, such as Isaiah 53 verse 5. As part of His resurrection blessings, for mankind, Jesus included spiritual, mental, emotional and physical healing. The Lord was wounded for our transgressions. His whole being was crushed with the burden of all our wickedness – our sins, our iniquities and our intended wrongdoings. The required punishment, so that we could be restored and have renewed fellowship with the Father, fell upon Jesus at the Cross. With the stripes – the whipping, the nails thrust through His feet and hands and the Roman spear thrust through his side – we were totally and eternally healed. Hold on to God's healing power, in your life, by constantly building up your spirit and therefore your whole being through God's word, the Holy Bible.
Be a True Lover
We learn, by reading Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5, how to truly love by receiving our love from the source of all true love. We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart. Our heart is our recreated spirit. We must also learn to love God with all our mind. We constantly make our thoughts and understanding to be centred on Him. This also includes our will and our emotions which are part of our soul. Furthermore we learn to love God with all our strength. This means our body and what we do with it. It also includes our intentions and our obedience to God's will and purposes for our life. In order to do this we must first of all become true lovers of God and His ways. Only those who have God as their source have a pure fountain from which to love God, themselves, and other people. They are also able to appreciate what is righteous and that which is beautiful and lovely, in God's creation.
God Is Your Provider
When we read Genesis chapter 22 verse 8 we learn how wonderfully God provides for all those who trust in Him. Abraham and his son, of promise, Isaac, had arrived at Mount Moriah, to make a sacrifice. They were to offer a lamb as the chosen sacrifice. Abraham believed that God would provide a lamb for the burnt offering. Abraham then went ahead and built an altar. With no lamb in sight he placed his son, upon the altar. It is important to realise that he was fully prepared and willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac, to God. He went ahead in faith, believing for God's provision. God then provided a sacrifice; a ram caught in a nearby thicket of bushes. Just as God provided Abraham with a sacrifice, He also provided for all of Abraham's needs. We must put all our faith in God on our own altar of life. God will always provide for His own who trust in His provision, for them. Keep holding on to God and His word through the faith He has given you!
His Authority Is Our Commission
God has given us His great commission, through His authority in Jesus Christ. We learn of this great commission for God's body, the church and each individual member of the body, from Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20. The great commission tells us to go and make disciples of all nations. We are to go and help others to know about the Lord and to believe in Him and then learn to obey His words from His word, the Holy Bible. For all who are willing to believe the word we are to baptise or immerse in water, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Baptism symbolises death to our self and our old deceitful ways. We, who believe, become His children and have been resurrected with Him unto everlasting life. Always we are to be ready to witness to others, whether it is in your home, your church, the marketplace or wherever the Holy Spirit leads you and offers you opportunities to do so. Hold forth the light of the kingdom of Heaven to all who will listen to God's message.
Keep Living by Faith
Our earthly life must be a walk of faith. This means trusting in the Lord and His word and the directions of the Holy Spirit. Our foundation for life comes through reading 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7. Each day we must walk by faith in God and His word. We can achieve this by spending time in fellowship with Him, praying diligently, listening to the Holy Spirit and by consistently learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all our daily situations. Walking by faith is so very important for all of God's born again, blood bought children.
Always Walk in Forgiveness!
Everyone and particularly every Christian, must learn how to forgive other people, as well as to forgive themselves. Our Father in heaven, is the great source of mankind's forgiveness. Colossians chapter 3 verse 13 shows us the importance of forgiveness. We are to willingly and graciously forgive other people their mistakes and even their wilful lies and hurts against us. No matter what the complaint or situation, we must forgive. Why is this so? The major reason is that Christ has forgiven us of all our sins and we are to do the same. If we are not willing to forgive we place our life and other peoples lives, in jeopardy. Satan will seize upon every unforgiven word or action and bring great hurt to our life and to those of other people. It is absolutely mandatory that we are willing to forgive others as well as ourselves so that we can bring honour to the Lord and that His blessings to ourselves and others, will flow as we do so. Unforgiveness is a major source of mental and physical sickness and of personal defeat in a person's life.
Don't be Fearful
Fear should never be a lingering part of any Christian's life. What an important fact we learn from 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7! Because we are new creations God has not given us nor allowed us to be intimidated, by a spirit of fear. Fear is the centrepiece of the kingdom of darkness, which is Satan's realm. We have been transferred, after repenting of our sins, into the kingdom of light, which is the kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Christians do not have fear of economic woes, rampant pandemic illnesses nor a fear of anything at all. They do not need to have a fear of any situation of life, providing they put their whole trust in the Lord. They have inherited a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind. Remember, no Christian should be upset by a spirit of fear.
Never Neglect Your Salvation
Stay out of or abandon every deceitful practice of the flesh, the world and the devil. In order to do so we must never neglect the wonderful understanding of our eternal salvation. This is very important information revealed to us from Hebrews chapter 2 verse 3. Always hold on tightly to the knowledge that you are a real born again child of God. Our marvellous salvation, took each of us, who are born again Christians, from the darkest slavery, to the freedom of Christ's eternal light. This is for all who are and were prepared to believe. It was first spoken about by the Lord, Himself and was then confirmed by all who heard Him. This inextinguishable light has been handed down through almost twenty centuries by faithful apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers as well as millions of faithful workers. The torch has been carried through a world of great terror and darkness to this present age, in which we live, today. Thank God for His incredible faithfulness to mankind! So much has He loved His beautiful blood bought, born again family and will keep on loving them, now and for evermore!

<![CDATA[It Is Already Finished -September 30th 2023]]>Sat, 30 Sep 2023 04:03:46 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/it-is-already-finished-september-30th-2023Picture
You Can Be Free!
What is already finished ? Satan's complete domination over most of mankind lasted for about four thousand years. His power and the power of his marauding host of demons was brought to a crushing end about April, 30AD. For the past two thousand years man has been able to live in overcoming freedom, from Satan's deceitful lies and violent treachery. We learn about the destruction of Satan's power and the victory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, from Colossians chapter 2 verse 15. The real problem that man is faced with is that they either don't know they are completely free or they only embrace part of God's freedom for them or even, much worse, they completely reject His wonderful deliverance.
Our Freedom

The Lord had compassion on His creation when we were still dead in our sins and lived according to our sinful nature. This is the reality revealed to us from Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 and 14. Our spirit had, as yet, not been renewed through the transformation of our spirit. The legal demands of the Old Testament laws were hostile to us. Jesus Christ, when He died and rose again, took the burden of our sins upon Himself. All who believed and repented of their sins were then legally made sons and daughters of God and were given the supreme gift of eternal life and His blessings. These demands of the law were then nailed to the Cross at Calvary and had no more binding power, before the heavenly court of God's Throne, because of Christ's resurrection. We were now able to be eternally free from the very time we accepted Jesus as our own personal Lord and Saviour.
The Reality of What Jesus Did
What Jesus did for us is explained in Colossians chapter 2 verse 15. Jesus disarmed all the evil satanic rulers and authorities who had been oppressing mankind. They did this though hatred towards each other; through various sicknesses and diseases and through many kinds of warfare. These wickedness's caused multiple deaths to many people. Jesus rose triumphantly from the grave and disarmed their supernatural powers which had operated against mankind, since the great fall into sin, by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Jesus displayed His power, furthermore, through His apostles and through every born again Christian who believed in Him and His word. To these people Satan's power and wicked deeds became captive. They were and are very much being destroyed or minimised, this very day, through God's faithful believers. Jesus' victory over the flesh, the world and the devil is very evident around the world in every nation and ethnic group. His victory is eternally finished!
Jesus Completed the Task
Jesus, as He hung on the Cross, came to the very end of His former earthly existence. He told all those who were surrounding the base of the Cross that His task of sin bearer and deliverer of mankind, was now complete. The incomprehensible burden of all the sins of those who had lived, were living and would live on the earth, was now finished. We read this absolutely marvellous statement from John chapter 19 verse 30. Nothing was to be added to His resurrection nor taken away from it. All anyone had to do from now on was to accept His divine salvation for the complete renewal of their life. This was a renewed spirit, together with forgiveness of all sins; eternal life and God's blessings over a person's soul and body including healing and His provision for all the needs of oneself and their family.
God's Life in Us
The real life of God, the Creator of the universe, indwells His people. This we learn from Romans chapter 8 verse 11. You and all of God's children were raised from spiritual death were raised with Christ, when He was raised. As Jesus was raised by the Holy Spirit, so were all of His children. That is those who would accept Jesus Christ as their eternal Lord and Saviour. Our spirit was made new in Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit. Our old carnal or fleshly nature was now the same as God's nature. Our whole being is being made undefiled, pure and holy, as He is holy. Over time we have to renew the soul – our mind, our will and our emotions – by consistently learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, the Holy Bible, to our circumstances, in our earthly life. This needs to be on a regular daily basis. By doing so our whole being will become like the Lord's and instead of having the desires of the world, we will have desires for His truth and righteousness. Our body and its greater health and longevity will be greatly enhanced and blessed. Always enjoy eating and drinking good things rather than having unhealthy habits that can destroy the body and the mind.
How to Qualify and Win
In 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verses 18 to 27 we are told how to run our life in Christ, so as to win the eternal prize. Everyone is given an equal chance to win and to finish the race when the starting gun of life, fires. The race of life is from the earthly cradle to the earthly grave. So many people have begun life's race with the best of intentions. However, so many of those who began the race had decided to try to win according to their own rules instead of the rules set down by God the Father. These rules are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit through God's word, the Holy Bible. Our Lord Jesus has made provision for millions of winners in the eternal race. Unfortunately, so few complete the race as winners, according to God's word, the Holy Bible. In order to win this race we must exercise our spiritual muscles every day and be disciplined in our attitudes and efforts. Prayer is a vital component in winning this race. All who wish to win the race must be diligent in reading the word of God. They must always be obedient and follow the directions and revelations of the Holy Spirit that confirm God's word. Athletes, running in and earthly competition, run to gain a perishable crown but we are running to win that which is an everlasting prize.
We Are Complete in Him
We learn from reading Colossians chapter 3 verse 10 how to run and finish our race in Him. Nothing besides our diligence and obedience need be added to win. We only achieve true spiritual stature and maturity as we are willing to love and be full of His joy, peace, truth and righteousness. We must learn to daily abide in the Lord. He is the head of the church and together with the body of believers, we are to rule and reign with Him. He, alone, rules over every angelic and earthly power. We are enabled to reign with Him in His mighty glory. Always thank God for the wonderful gifts He has bestowed on you. They are given to glorify the Father in Jesus' name and to be used to bless other people. It is also important to admire God's gifts to other people but never try to emulate them! You won't really be able to! God's gifts to you and other people are finished products. Using them brings a marvellous result to our earthly life!
Our Goal Is Complete in Him
What a wonderful completion is ours! We finish the race in His victory. This we read from 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 7. Paul had fought the good fight of faith. It is a worthy and noble fight. Paul was now near the end of his earthly ministry. He had helped with the aid of his fellow labourers and above all the Holy Spirit, to write and to spread the New Testament word of God, well beyond the borders of Israel. It was now being taught and preached throughout the Middle East and the southern parts of Europe such as Macedonia, Greece and Italy. It had also been promoted through parts of northern Africa and much of the Roman Empire. As a spirit filled apostle of God he had helped others to keep hold of their new faith in Jesus Christ. This was the new way of life which has now enabled hundreds of millions of people, over the past two thousand years, to live free of Satan's bondage. The power of God's word, working in them, enables them to overcome sickness and disease and fear and deceitful spiritual and physical oppression. Many people have echoed Paul's proclamation of having overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. They have been freed and are being made free and are inheriting God's mercy and blessings, through faith in God's word, the Holy Bible. Our earthly life has now been secured through faith in Jesus Christ. Our earthly slavery to Satan and demonic oppression has been overcome in Christ! It is already finished. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[All Things Are Possible - September 23rd 2023]]>Sat, 23 Sep 2023 04:03:25 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/all-things-are-possible-september-23rd-2023Picture
A Full and Complete Sacrifice
We read from John chapter 19 verse 30 that Jesus made a full and complete sacrifice on behalf of mankind. It was finished! What was finished? His full and complete sacrifice the complete and eternal salvation of man, from sin, for all who were willing to believe. Jesus then gave up His spirit into the hands of His Father. His reason for coming to earth was now complete. From then on man was able to repent from his sins and be saved and to be rewarded, through God's grace and unmerited favour. This reward was beyond man's understanding; the free gift of eternal life. Man could not and should not try to add to and take away from the mighty work of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
God Created Everything
We read in Jeremiah chapter 32 verse 17 that God created everything in heaven and upon the earth. It was by His great power and His outstretched arm that He brought all creation into existence. God Almighty is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They together are the blessed Trinity or three in One. There never has been and there is nothing currently nor will there ever be, anything too marvellous or too difficult, for God to do. Our great and wonderful God takes care of all of His creation and is well able to do so and is able to provide for you and I and our needs and for all who call upon His name. Keep trusting Him for He is willing to do for each one of us what He has promised to do in His word, the Holy Bible.
Don't Be Faithless
By reading Matthew chapter 17 verse 20 we learn that many Christians even ourselves at times, miss out on God's fulfilment in their life. This is primarily due to a lack of faith in Him and His word. What was the major problem with the apostles of Jesus? This is the same problem that can afflict every born again Christian, today. His disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out the demon, that was afflicting this boy with seizures or a type of epilepsy. The real problem was a lack of real faith and in a lack of confidence in the power of God, to do so on their behalf. Jesus told them that if they only had faith the size of a very small mustard seed, they would be able to say to any mountain of unbelief in their life, or in agreement with other people's lives to move and it would have to do so. Everything, that is in accordance with God's will and purposes, can be done. It is not impossible with God even if it is impossible with people. We must always ask God, first knowing that His answer, makes all things in our life, possible. Always be faithful and believe His word.
God's Faith Makes It Possible
All of those who are Christians, have plans and desires, where they are seeking God for His empowering intervention, in their lives. Sometimes they are beyond our understanding or capacity to achieve. We read with great joy that if our assurance of God's power is founded on faith and God and His word and we keep believing, the thing that we ask for will happen. The important aspect of our faith is not to doubt in our inner being, our heart. This assurance is confirmed in Mark chapter 11 verses 22 to 24. By daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to any circumstance in our life, the faith that comes through God's word, the Holy Bible, will enable us to witness mighty miracles, happening. We must truly believe, that what we have confessed, from God's word, will come to pass. To do so we must believe, without doubt, in the unlimited power of God to achieve not only what we ask for but that it is in fully in line with God's plans for us. Whatever things we ask in prayer, believing, we can be confident that it will come to pass. It may take more time than we would like but it will happen. Don't waver but always believe that what God knows is best for your life, will come to pass.
No Longer a Poor Old Sinner
Romans chapter 10 verses 10 and 11 informs us that we have been made righteous as Jesus is righteous. This happens when we believe in Christ as our own personal Saviour. No longer are we poor old sinners headed for hell and eternal damnation but we are now children of the Creator God of the entire universe. Once we lived in the darkness of Satan's kingdom but now we live in the light of the kingdom of heaven. We are not only freed but forgiven even of our guilt and remembrance by God, that our sins never occurred. We are free and willing to confess our faith in the Lordship of Christ and His saving grace. Daily, we are confirming our salvation and righteousness, in Him. Our new station in life, our own eternal righteousness, has been made possible through Christ's shed blood. We have and continue to believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and trust in Him and His word. As a born again child of God our trust in Him will never be disappointed.
My Trust and Confidence
My trust and confidence in Jesus is solely founded on His word, that it will never fail. My life has now become a life where all things that are true and righteous, are possible. This we read from 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 12. We have now become overcomers of the world, the flesh and the devil. What was impossible has now become possible. Christians are no longer ashamed because they are acquainted with and know their God. All who trust in God and His overwhelming grace have perfect confidence in His ability to protect and keep them throughout their life. This is in all situations and circumstances, until He comes for them. Jesus Christ is the first and perfect resurrection of the church, His body of all born again believers.
Do As the Lord Commands
In Acts chapter 8 verses 5 to 8, we read about Phillip, the evangelist. He went to a city of Samaria and began proclaiming that salvation was through Jesus Christ, the real Messiah. Phillip taught the people that there was repentance and salvation in no other name. Many people paid close attention to what was being taught. They not only heard his message but they also witnessed the mighty signs and wonders, that God wrought through Phillip. These miracles validated the message that Phillip taught. Unclean spirits or demons shouted loudly but were driven out of those who were possessed. Great healings of physical bodies were also taking place and many were healed of paralysis and lameness. As a result, there was great rejoicing in Samaria, in the miracles, that God had wrought. Be faithful and always carry out what God has commanded you to do!
Your Faith Is So Important
When we read Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 we learn how very important our faith is when we sincerely believe in seeing the impossible become possible. His wonderful faith is operating in our own life situations and circumstances. No one can really please God unless they are willing to believe what God has said in His word, the Holy Bible. They must be willing, in His strength, to carry out what He tells them to do. All who come to God must believe that He is the real God who created the universe and that He always desires to help everyone, who is willing to believe in Him, this very day. We must also believe that God is willing to help everyone, who earnestly and diligently seek Him. As they are willing to be obedient to follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit, they will see the impossible become possible. It is always a matter of willingness to believe in Him and what He has said. In doing so you will indeed overcome the effects of the world, the flesh and the devil.
Trust in Him, Alone
Trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, is the only guaranteed and sure way for you to become a redeemed child of God and become an inheritor of eternal life and all of His amazing blessings. There is no other safe haven in any area of life but faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and His word, the Holy Bible. All those who have and will repent of their sins and give their lives to the Lord have a secure and sure foundation for both now and for all eternity! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[No More an Old Creation-September 19th 2023]]>Tue, 19 Sep 2023 02:08:29 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/no-more-an-old-creation-september-19th-2023Picture
Change from Old to New
Everyone who surrenders their life to the Lord, by repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, becomes at that very moment, a new creation. Each one becomes a child of the living and holy God. At that point they are changed from glory to glory. Their real person, their inner spirit, is created a new person. No longer do they have a corrupted spirit unable to discern spiritual good from evil. No longer are they treading the slippery slope to hell and eternal damnation. They have already inherited eternal life and have been granted God's richest blessings, for evermore. Their whole future life has changed!
Created in the Likeness of God
God's word, the Holy Bible, informs us in Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 that we were created in the image or likeness of God. We were created both male and female in God's likeness. Adam and Eve, when first created, were perfect with God's nature and as well they were given incredible intelligence and perfect physical features and structure. Adam was able to name and describe the characteristics of every creature that God had created and brought to his attention. They were perfect in the Garden of Eden until Satan deceived Eve and Adam complied with her sin. From then on sin entered the entire created world. From then on a gradual creeping corruption, of what God had created, began to occur. The full redemption of creation only occurred since Jesus died and rose again. At that point and from then on all who believed and accepted Jesus' pardon for their sins have had their inner person or spirit recreated. At that moment of time, they could once again converse with God and inherit His eternal life.
Come to the Lord in Your Youth
Ecclesiastes chapter 12 verse 1 exhorts us to thoughtfully come back to the Lord, while we are young and not so full of the thoughts and desires of the world, the flesh and the devil. When you do accept Jesus you become a child of God and you do not remain your own master any more. Before evil habits or ideas fully develop and take hold of your life, remember your Creator. It is He who truly loves you and has created you for greater things than just useless earthly pleasures. After you get older and fleshly pursuits become dim, you will be glad that you delighted yourself in the Lord. He, alone and all He stands for, became the sole intention of your life.
Privileged to Be a New Creation
We learn about the great privilege granted to each Christian who becomes a child of God. This is recorded in John chapter 1 verses 12 and 13. Those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are given this eternal privilege. Their new birth or new creation did not occur through natural human conception. Nor was it through the will of our mind or flesh; it was also not through an impulsive thought. However, it was and is through the divine for-knowledge and supernatural purpose of God. Our everlasting new creation became a reality, when Jesus Christ rose, triumphantly alive, from the grave. We also, at that moment, arose with Him to supernaturally live with and in Him for evermore.
Who Is a New Creation?
Everyone in whom the Lord Jesus Christ lives, is without doubt, a new creation. This we read and know, in our spirit, is the reality revealed to us, from Romans chapter 8 verses 14 and 16. Christians must allow themselves to be willingly lead, by the Spirit of God. After all they are God's children and need to learn to trust and obey Him, as their Father. He will always lead them in His righteous path which is always the very best for them to follow. The Holy Spirit declares that all those who are born again from above, are his children. He confirms this to our spirit so that we know, without doubt, that we are indeed His children. Everyone that believes that God is their spiritual Father, are His true children. We are to constantly listen to and follow the Holy Spirit's leading in our lives, because Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.
Transformed from Above
Every child of God, His new creations, have been renewed and transformed from above. We read about this in Galatians chapter 3 verses 26 and 27. We are spiritually transformed and progressively sanctified, as children of God. Christians are set apart for His will and purposes and are granted full rights and privileges, through faith in His word. This faith develops, in obedience, in and through Jesus Christ. When we believed we were baptised, by the Holy Spirit, into Christ's body, the church. Everyone who is a blood bought child of God, has and is acquiring Christ's characteristics and values.
Renewed by God
All those who sincerely love the Lord have become and are becoming His masterful work of art. Our spirit is not in our decadent former state, nor is our mind but we are recreated in the likeness of Jesus Christ. We read about this in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10. We are, in Him, being made ready to carry out His good works. These works God has prepared before us to do. These are His very good and perfect works. In walking in His ways we can live a life of righteousness and truth, even while living in our humanity, upon earth. These works are already prepared for us as we are obedient to His will and purposes.
New Creations in Christ
You are to be full of joy, peace and righteousness. Every day must be a new day in Him. Get ready to spring out of bed and as your feet touch the floor, begin praising his holy name. First thing to remember is that you were created for good works in Him. No longer does the past linger over you but your past as well as Satan and his demons, are no longer able to dominate you. According to 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 we are indeed, new creations in Christ. The old things of deceit, moral decay and violence, are now gone. They have been washed away through Christ's precious blood. You have passed from Satan's realm of disease and death into God's kingdom of healing and righteousness. All things have now become new. Always listen carefully and obey the Holy Spirit and daily learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all your situations and circumstances.
Deeper Revelation of Who We Are
By reading I John chapter 3 verse 2 we begin to realise what an incredible future belongs to all who are born again of the Holy Spirit of God. At this moment you are a child of God if you have truly repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Your spirit is totally recreated in the likeness of God. However, you do have the responsibility of personally renewing your soul which includes your mind, will and emotions as well as carefully looking after your body. Remember, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and anything that can degrade your body such as eating poor kinds of food as well as overeating, drinking alcoholic drinks and taking drugs, that are not for health reasons, is an abomination to God. We do know that when He comes for His bride, the church, that we will also be like Him. We will see Jesus in all His glory coming for His gloriously redeemed, resurrected church. Keep looking up and believing in and carrying out His instructions, as required by His word, the Holy Bible. The world circumstances that surround us, reveal and confirm to all who are waiting for His return, that His coming is drawing nigh, even at the door!

<![CDATA[Our Weapons Are Not Carnal - Sept 9th 2023]]>Sat, 09 Sep 2023 04:47:26 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/our-weapons-are-not-carnal-sept-9th-2023Picture
Choose Your Weapons, Carefully
Know that everyone, Christian or otherwise, is in a spiritual battle. Whether you have victory or not, depends on whether you are in Christ. It is a battle in which Satan, the devil, is trying to destroy God's creation through vain thoughts, lies, deceptive words and evil actions. Satan hates God and His creation. One time he wanted to be God but there is only one true, eternal, Almighty God. In our battle, as God's children, we must only choose God given weapons. Man's earthly weapons, even those of sophisticated modern warfare, are all useless in winning our spiritual battle. Our weapons are mighty in destroying Satan's strongholds in our life, our family, our church, our government and our country. God given weapons are always spiritual and never carnal so that we can be truly victorious and not defeated.
The Weapons of Praise and Worship
Possibly, the greatest weapon of our warfare against Satan and his demons, is praise and worship. It has extraordinary power in bringing down the enemy strongholds. We learn of its great effectiveness from 2 Chronicles 20 verses 21 and 22. A great multitude of Ammonites, Moabites and Edomites were gathered against King Jehoshaphat to destroy his army and the city of Jerusalem. A victory, using man made weapons was impossible. Jehoshaphat sought the Lord's help through His prophets. The people got up early and after the King consulted with the people, he appointed singers to go before the army, praising the Lord. In their worship they gave thanks to God for His mercy and lovingkindness. When they began singing and praising, the Lord sent ambushments against their enemies. The Ammonites and Moabites suspected betrayal by the Edomites so they rose up and destroyed the Edomites. They furthermore then destroyed all of the multitude that remained. There was such a rout of the enemy that King Jehoshaphat and his people were not able to carry away all the valuable things the enemy left behind, so great was the spoil. The Lord had given His people complete victory as they called upon His name. As God's people Christians, must always seek God for His help, when destroying the enemies plots.
God's Word in His Prophet
Almighty God placed His word upon the lips of the prophet Jeremiah. This we learn from Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 9 and 10. The Lord appointed Jeremiah to speak to the nations and kingdoms of the world and to all those that would listen to God's word over the intervening two thousand five hundred years. Jeremiah had been appointed by God as His spokesman, to uproot and break down, to destroy and overthrow and to build and to plant nations and kingdoms. God is always in control and speaks through His chosen prophets of old and His appointed New Testament apostles.
God's Church Has His Authority
We learn from reading Matthew chapter 16 verses 18 and 19 that God has given His born again, spirit filled believers, His very own church, authority over improper and unlawful acts on earth. God's church is Christ's body and Jesus is the head. Every satanic and devilish power has no real authority over the true body of believers. Believers have the authority to overcome the gates of hell through their covenant with the Lord and His precious blood. Because we have the keys to the kingdom of heaven we are able to bind, on earth and forbid unlawful acts, through our prayers and obedience, to God's will and purposes. When they are bound on earth they will then be bound in heaven. Similarly, whatever we loose on earth, of God's truth and righteousness has already been loosed in heaven.
Bringing Down Strongholds
We can and must use the word of God, effectively We are authorised to bring down Satan's strongholds over ourselves, our family and relatives, our friends, our church and our city and nation. The destruction of evil strongholds is important according to 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verses 3 to 6. These strongholds are many and can include any of the following: lack of love towards God and each other; not obeying the Holy Spirit and the word of God; not repenting and being sorry for former and current sins; being greedy and wanting more than you need; not providing sufficiently for your family or God's work; being too proud of yourself and your family achievements; the list goes on. If we are truly honest with ourselves the list could be almost endless. However you must listen to the Holy Spirit and then you will know what are the most important strongholds in your life. Strongholds are the result of knowingly or unknowingly, yielding to the flesh, the world and the devil. We are human and we live as such on this earth. Remember, however the Holy Spirit lives within us. Never try to use fleshly or carnal means to achieve spiritual victories. It just won't work but it will end up in repetitive defeats.
Who Is Your Enemy?
We learn that our real enemy is not people but Satan and demonic hosts. This is recorded in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12. Our battle is not against other people, even though Satan does his best to deceive us into thinking it is. The real and continuing battle, while we live on earth, is against the rulers and powers of world forces, on earth and in the heavenlies. It is also against the spiritual darkness that envelopes everyone that is not born of the Spirit of God and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. This is a battle that persists not only on earth but also against wicked spirits in the heavenly places.
Our Valid Spiritual Weapons
We have a wonderful arsenal of spiritual weaponry at our disposal. I have already mentioned praise and worship. In Ephesians chapter 6 verses 13 to 18 we read about a number of spiritual weapons, with military comparisons that make up our powerful armoury. It is so important that we stand firm and immovable against all the onslaughts of demonic forces. We are to hold our ground through the word of God, the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit, as we daily learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all our circumstances. We must stand in personal integrity and wear the belt of truth. Over our spirit we wear the breastplate of righteousness. Our feet are covered by the gospel of peace. This is when we pour oil on disputes and all manner of superficial arguments. We are always ready to tell people the good news of their salvation. Above our body we lift up the shield of faith, which is able to quench all of the enemies' fiery darts of bad thoughts, evil words and vicious actions. Upon our head we are armed with the helmet of salvation. In our hands we skilfully wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the holy word of God. We must always be involved in all kinds of prayer. Intercede for others, particularly family, friends and country. If you use your weapons, wisely, you are guaranteed by God to have consistent victory over your enemies.
Persistent Prayer
From Colossians chapter 4 verses 2 and 3 we are encouraged to be consistent and devoted to our prayer life. We are to be focused on what the Lord reveals as important. Our prayers must include our thanks for God's amazing provision in our daily circumstances. Pray that God will open wide His doors of opportunity for planting seeds of righteousness and salvation for some and spiritual growth for others. Our task is, through Christ's anointing, to open the prison doors for those who are lost. Our prayers also are to encourage a deeper spiritual growth for those who need to mature into a greater depth of faith.
Fight the Good Fight
There is only one great battle every Christian must win. This is the fight of faith according to 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 18. Always call upon the Lord for your strength. Have absolute faith and trust in Him and His word. We must be obedient to the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible. In doing so we are well able to fight the good fight of faith and keep fighting on to overcoming victory. Furthermore, false teaching or false teachers will not be able to keep deceiving you or other people. As you listen carefully and are obedient to God you will know His truth and it is the truth of God's word that makes you free. God's word is not just someone's opinion but is based on the integrity of who God is.
Punish All Disobedience
We read in 1 John chapter 5 verse 4 that everyone who is a child of God overcomes the world as well as their own flesh and the deceits of Satan. Christians gain this victory through faith in God's word. We learn to punish all disobedience in our own lives so that we can live a life of eternal victory through Jesus Christ. Firstly, get rid of the strongholds in your own life. Then you will be able to use the weapons of God, effectively, to bring down strongholds wherever, the Holy Spirit, leads you. You, actually, become an eternal stronghold destroyer! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[God's Compassion and Mercy - September 4th 2023]]>Mon, 04 Sep 2023 04:01:51 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-compassion-and-mercy-september-4th-2023Picture
The Loving Kindness of God
Our loving God is all powerful, all knowing and able to be everywhere, at the same time. This means He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Yet He is absolutely full of loving kindness, mercy and compassion, to all who call upon His name. It is only because of His great grace, demonstrated through His great love, that He desires to help people, in their plight, while they live on earth. God is able to keep and save us to the uttermost. He is also well able to help us solve all our problems and to guide all who trust in Him. However, they must be willing to acknowledge Him as the Lord and Saviour of their lives and be willing to repent of their sins, against Him and His ways.
Always Call Upon the Lord
It is so important for us to always ask the Lord what to do. This we learn from Isaiah chapter 55 verse 7. The wicked are to leave their wicked ways and the unrighteous their evil thoughts. When they are willing to return to the Lord, His great mercy and compassion will come upon them. He will abundantly pardon them of all their iniquities. His merciful peace and love will become part of their daily lives.
Inherit His Loving Kindness
We learn, as we read from 2 Chronicles chapter 16 verse 34, that our heavenly Father, is truly, a very good God. It is so important that we always thank Him for being so kind and loving to us and to always be willing to call upon Him. The Lord will always bless us and provide what we need. His remarkable loving kindness to His creation, is never ending. He will always help us as we reach out to Him. Continually we inherit the best possible blessings that the Lord, who knows everything, can and will provide for us. To become full inheritors of His daily blessings, it is so important that we also have daily constant fellowship with Him. We need to learn, read, meditate, confess and apply His word to our current circumstances. We also need to listen to and obey the directions of the Holy Spirit. In doing so we become fortresses of His faith in us and well able to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil.
God Is Our Source of Mercy
From Psalm 78 verse 38 we learn that our wonderful Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the true source of all mercy, compassion and loving kindness. So many times the Lord forgave the iniquity of the people of Israel. His wonderful loving kindness and mercy prevented Him from destroying His chosen people of old, in spite of their great wickedness. Because of His responsive love and compassion for His people, He constrained His anger and wrath, towards them. For all of the evil and wickedness of people on earth, today, He still constrains His righteous anger, against His creation.
His Enduring Mercy and Compassion
With wonder and enjoyment we read of God's great compassion and mercy from Psalm 136 verse 1. His children are to constantly give thanks that their God is so good. Because of His goodness and holiness we can rejoice in His graciousness and compassion to all His blood bought born again children. The most amazing fact for all, who are true worshippers of God, will be their everlasting delight in His absolute compassion and mercy.
Belief in God's Goodness
All who genuinely love the Lord are able to rejoice in God's extraordinary grace and provision. This we learn about from Lamentations chapter 3 verse 22. His tender mercies never fail. Think about the time when your health condition was so poor you thought you might die. The Lord then healed you and delivered you. Remember, when your finances were so far in the red that you almost gave up on your life. However, the Lord not only delivered you like Job of old, but has also forgiven you and provided for you, more than you had before. Therefore in dire circumstances of health, finances, personal relationships and even many other circumstances you are well able to rejoice in the loving kindness of your God. He always has far more for you and your family than you could ever imagine or understand, Always be obedient to Him and His word. Right now, call upon His mercy and goodness and He will provide more than enough for your current situation.
Be Kind to One Another
How are we to be like the Lord and encourage other fellow believers, to do the same? In reading Zechariah chapter 7 verse 9, we have our answer. We are to dispense and give out to others true justice not only of the law of the land but rather through the word of God, the Holy Bible. We must never oppress other people either in word or deed. Rather give to them out of your abundance or even your sufficiency. The Lord will provide for you and your family Send forth His love and compassion to all whom you know. This is to your own family, to your relatives, to your friends, to your neighbours, to your workmates and to whomever and wherever the Holy Spirit directs you to give out of His marvellous abundance that He has provided for you.
Jesus Is the True Shepherd
Jesus is the true shepherd of His sheep. His sheep are His chosen children. This we read in Mark chapter 6 verse 34. Jesus came ashore from the Sea of Galilee and He saw a large crowd of people, waiting there to hear Him speak. He was moved with great compassion for them. They were like wandering sheep having no shepherd to care for them. So many people, even those who are poorly taught Christians, are just like those people of Galilee. Some may have prospered materially, but their need of the saving grace of God, was and still is, very great. These people lacked spiritual guidance so Jesus taught them about the way of eternal life. Some of them required physical and mental healing and others needed to be taught about repentance and turn from their evil ways. Instead of just wandering through life they needed to learn how to have God's goals become part of their earthly way of living. They needed forgiveness from God and to forgive themselves in their own lives. It is important that they learn to receive God's forgiveness, so that they could more easily forgive others. God's way was to become paramount, rather than merely living a life of existence from day to day.

Inherit the Fruits of the Spirit
God's children must learn about and consistently practice the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Each day they must endeavour to be more like their Lord, No one can do it in their own strength and ability but you can do it by obeying the Holy Spirit and being diligent in learning and reading God's word, the Holy Bible every day. We learn about the fruits of the spirit from Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 and 23. These fruits are able to produce the righteous fruit of good thoughts, good speech and good actions in their lives. Each day keep on producing the fruit of God's love which includes a wonderful desire to obey God and His word. We are also enabled to have unselfish concern for the needs of other people – family, relatives, friends, neighbours, Christian workers – whomever and wherever the Lord leads us. It is wonderful to see other Christians full of joy. This is God's joy that doesn't stop when all around becomes hard going. Another fruit is patience; yes, we often have to wait for wonderful things to happen. However, the God given ability to wait undisturbed is so more important than the actual waiting time. We must all learn to be people who are kind to others. In order to be good we must earnestly desire not to try to act as if we were God but try to be like God and follow His ways. We must repent and be really sorry when we miss the mark! Faith is so important. All those children of God, who are faithful to God, will inherit eternal life. On earth they must also be faithful towards others, using their talents wisely and pursuing the things God has called them to do. Being gentle is very important. How often we lack a gentle attitude towards younger people or the elderly and often those in poorer circumstances than ours. Always keep your mind, will and emotions under the control of your spirit which includes your thoughts and speech and your body. If you do these things regularly, you will never fail. No righteous law of God will ever be against you.
Merciful People Receive God's Blessings
We can be confident of God's blessings when we obey God's merciful ways. This we learn from Hebrews chapter 4 verse 16. Every child of God has the privilege of coming before the throne of our eternal God. We can approach Him through His gracious favour upon us. As His child, we come in His confidence and without fear. Fear belongs to Satan's kingdom of darkness. At His throne we receive abundant mercy for every situation and circumstance in our life. Often we fail but when we repent, He will always forgive us and restore our fellowship in Him. This enables His outcomes for our life to always be favourable ones. We can and we must always call upon His great grace, in time of need. The most beneficial deliverance will come our way. God's way is always perfect and His timing brings wonderful blessings, just when it is required. Always trust in the goodness of God for His mercy and compassion, through His great love. This is renewed towards us, every morning. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Our God Is Love -August 28th 2023]]>Mon, 28 Aug 2023 03:52:58 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/our-god-is-love-august-28th-2023Picture
God Is Love
Our God, the Creator of the universe, is a God of immense love. He is the originator of all true compassionate, saving and caring love. Without Him, there is no real deep love in this world of darkness. Christians can only love because the love of God dwells in their spirit, through Him. Most of the original compassionate organisations of the world were founded upon the love of God flowing through merciful and loving Christians. This includes church and charitable organisations, hospitals and educational institutions such as universities and schools. It also included care for sick and elderly and also reached into the halls of government with the result of the emancipation of slaves and increasing care for those who were impoverished in society. Our God, the one of the Holy Bible, is a God of wonderful love.
Christ Died to Save Mankind.
The Lord Jesus Christ, in obedience to His Father God, shed His precious blood on the Cross of Calvary, to redeem every person who has ever lived. They were redeemed from their sins as well as their guilt and shame. We read with joy this proclamation from John chapter 3 verse 16. God loved His creation so much that He desired that every person become part of His eternal family. He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son into the world to tell mankind about His great love and then went to die on the Cross of Calvary. It was here, near Jerusalem, that He died and rose again and cleansed their sins away with His precious blood. He also told them that He would forget their sins entirely, if they would repent and accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. Everyone who is willing to believe in God and His word, the Holy Bible, would never die, spiritually, but would have everlasting life.
God Hates Sin
God is always opposed to sin and its effects upon His creation. This we learn from 1 John chapter 2 verses 15 to 17. As Christians and His born again children, we also oppose sin in our own lives and in the world, in general. We are instructed not to love the sinful selfish interests that destroy the people of the world. Many of the things that mankind participates in, blinded by Satan and even their own flesh, are deceitful, foolish and destructive. If we put the things in our own lives or the desires of the world before our love for God, then the true love for God the Father and His ways, does not abide in our spirit. Following after the things of this world including unbridled lust and craving for the flesh as well as our eyes seeking after worldly desires and the boastful pride of being better than other people, then we are in trouble. If we have boastful confidence in our wealth, abilities and our own resources, then we are not trusting our Father for His riches but are trusting in the world's or our resources. The things of the world do not last. Remember, the world that our ancestors enjoyed, has already passed away and in like manner so will ours. Only those people who do the will of our Father God and fulfil His purposes, are guaranteed eternal life.
Haters Are Not of God
These people, who work hatred towards other people, are either deceived or are false Christians. We read about them in 1 John chapter 2 verses 9 to 11. All those who habitually work against or hate other people and particularly their Christian brothers, live in spiritual darkness and don't have God's life in them. Satan, the world and their own flesh has blinded their spiritual eyes. Christians who live in the light of God's word must love other people. They also must love righteousness and truth and stay away from belittling other people and being involved in sinful ideas and plans.
The God Quality of Love
We learn about the pure and undiluted love of God from 1 John chapter 3 verses 1 and 2. Every child of God must become acquainted with the extraordinary depth of the God kind of love. Unfortunately, the world does not know this kind of love. Really, the world's kind of love, is only skin deep. To know God's kind of love Christians need to be consistently praising the Lord and listening to the Holy Spirit, revealing the truths from God's word, the Holy Bible. Every day try to learn a verse by heart and always read, meditate upon, confess and apply the word of God, to your daily situations. Learn to confess the actual word that you have learnt or have read to every circumstance that comes your way.
Our God of Love
How great is our God of love according to 1 John chapter 3 verses 11 to 16 and verse 23. Our love must be the same as God's love. We must seek the very best for others rather than just ourselves. God's children must not be like Cain, who followed Satan's ways and murdered His brother, Abel. Because we live according to God's ways, the world at large, does not understand us and even hates us. All who are born again children of God have passed from eternal damnation and death into eternal salvation and life. Those who do not repent of their sins remain in spiritual death. Everyone who willingly works against other people is, in their heart, a murderer. No one who pursues this way of life can obtain eternal life. We understand this true essence of God's love that because the Lord laid down His life for others, we must also be willing to do the same and put others before ourselves. If we have sufficient of the world's goods we need to provide, where we can, the needs of other people. Our actions will reveal our real love for God in sincere practical ways of love rather than in just in what we speak. It is so important to do as God commands His children, that they live by faith in His word and keep loving others, unselfishly and seek the best for them.
God First Loved Us
We learn about God's great enduring love for mankind, in 1 John chapter 4 verse 7 to 11. Everyone who loves others has God's great love abiding in them. Those who don't really love God; their love is only a form of lip service. God is the originator of all real love. Without His love in our spirit and likewise your soul, you cannot really love others nor even yourself, as you should. God sent Jesus to take our place and redeem us from our sinful nature and reward us with His eternal love and His eternal life. He loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. Jesus became the sacrifice for our sins, taking our just punishment upon Himself, for all of mankind. This was for all who had lived, are living and will live on planet Earth.
Love Casts Out Fear
Many older Christians have experienced God's love, in their lives, over a number of decades. They believe the love God has for them and know how real His love and provision really is. After reading 1 John chapter 4 verses 16 to 21 we have come to realise the goodness of God's love. When we spend time with Him in consistent daily fellowship, our relationship with Him becomes more perfected. One of the most remarkable qualities of love is that those who were once fearful are well able to overcome fear because as their love is perfected, it is empowered to cast our fear. Fear involves expectation of divine punishment. Each day we must pray and praise the Lord and make God, alone, the number one in our life. We must be willing to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word. Doing so we become well able to overcome the fear filled lies of the flesh, the world and the devil. If we don't love our fellow Christians, we lie. If we don't love our family and other people, we lie and God's love is not in us. We have God's wonderful commandment to love each other. Should we consistently fail to do so then the true love of God is not in us. Let us obey God's commandment and truly love with God's love in every situation.

<![CDATA[God's Law Is Love - august 21st 2023]]>Mon, 21 Aug 2023 04:32:57 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-law-is-love-august-21st-2023Picture
Our God is Love
The God whom all Christians serve, is above all, a God of love. He cannot be anything else because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are together, the great source of all pure love. Our Lord desires, above all else, that His born again children walk in love, towards Himself and towards each other. All who truly love are born again of the Spirit of God. Our very thoughts and our attitudes, as well as our speech and our actions, must be founded on the love of God. No other kind of love will be able to successfully see us through our earthly journey.
God Commands Love
We read from Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5 that God commands that His children must love Him. Our Father God is the absolute and only real God of the universe. He, alone, must be treated with ultimate honour and respect. Christians must love the Lord with all their heart- their very own spirit- with all their soul and with all their strength. It is important to love God not just for His blessings and provisions for us but more importantly, for who He really is. He is the Creator and sole sustainer of the whole universe and of all forms of life.
Love Overcomes Hatred
We know that the world around us is full of hatred and strife. This we learn when reading Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12. Hatred and warfare abound between opposing countries. Feuding occurs over even the most trivial things and often happens between individuals in sport, in the workplace and frequently between family members. We somehow always have to be better than other people. Or do we? We learn from God's word, the Holy Bible, that God's love enables us to overcome evil thoughts, nasty talk and wicked actions. Instead of stirring up strife love covers all kinds of sin. The love I am talking about is not just plain old human love, which can change with circumstances, but the eternal perfect love of God, which is available to all who are God's children. To be a member of God's family a person must genuinely repent and be sorry for their sins and accept their own responsibility for them and then allow Jesus Christ to become their Lord and Saviour. Their eternal life is secured through His precious blood, shed for them, on the Cross of Calvary.
God Covers Us With His Love
Everyone who loves God is covered from the attacks of the flesh, the world and the devil, when they obey His word. We read about His banner of love, over us, from Song of Solomon chapter 2 verse 4. When we are in God's banqueting house we are provided with all of God's great blessings and protection for our lives. His provision for all His children is absolutely amazing. He can and will provide for us, as we allow Him to do so. Jesus constantly pilots our life's ship through and past all the shoals and reefs that abound to bring havoc to our life. He, in us, successfully overcomes the flesh, the world and the devil through His great love for us. We are covered by His eternal banner of love. Listen carefully to the Holy Spirit, telling our spirit, the right way to go. His message will be confirmed in our life as we consistently learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to our life's situations.
Love Unselfishly
We learn about the importance of being unselfish when we truly learn to love others. This fact is revealed to us in Matthew chapter 5 verse 44. Unselfish love must endeavour to reach out to others and seek out the best or higher good for them. This does not just include members of our own family or relatives but also other Christians and particularly our enemies. One of the most effective ways of loving others is to pray for them, interceding on their behalf. When the Holy Spirit gives us specific ways of helping other people it is vital that we obey.
Prove Your Love
To be real lovers of God we can prove our true allegiance by keeping His commandments. To be able to truly love God we must always keep His commandments. When we read John chapter 14 verse 15 we learn that obeying God's instructions, as revealed by the Holy Spirit from His word, the Bible, is absolutely vital and essential. If we don't abide and keep obeying His word then our love for the Lord is faulty and is without a secure foundation. Our love for God must include our obedience to His will and purposes, for our life.
Love As God Loves
From John chapter 15 verses 12 to 14 we learn that we need to love others with the same love that He loves us. We are to lay down our lives for others. This does not always mean that we have to physically lay down our lives for other people. To lay our lives down spiritually can be much harder. It may not be just for a year or two. Often it can be for a lifetime of endeavour, helping others in their needs or giving our services and even our finances to aid , others. It can be making ourselves of far less importance so that family, relatives or friends or other Christians, can be successful in what God has called them to do. In our love for them we become their supporters, in Christ.
Love Requires Gratitude
To be full of gratitude is essential when loving God and other people. This we learn from 1 Corinthians chapter 8 verses 1 to 3. Knowledge is very important but if used improperly it can cause people to be arrogant. Love builds up others and encourages wisdom to grow. When we love the Holy Spirit enables us to not only know about something but to also understand why it is so. Those people who love God and are filled with His love and have reverence towards Him are also obedient and grateful towards Him. They learn to realise how wonderful His love is and also learn that we are loved by Him and that we have become His very own child.
Love always Wins
How wonderful it is to learn that those who love, always win! We learn this from reading the great love chapter and in particular 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 8. Why is this so? We are told that love never fails or ends. All Christians can always have a love relationship with God, through Jesus. Many prophecies have already been fulfilled but one day, they will all cease. Speaking in angelic tongues and their interpretation, will one day, cease. Even the gift of specialised knowledge and understanding will also pass away, love will remain.
Only Love Is the Greatest Grace
The greatest of all God's graces is love. We learn this from reading 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13. There are three major graces that God gives to the human race. They are faith through His word and His promises; hope in our eternal future in Christ and love, the greatest grace of all. This is unselfish love that grows and matures through a knowledge of God's great love towards us. Every Christian, indeed every person, needs to learn how to love God and through His love, learn to love other people. This is only possible through listening to the Holy Spirit and diligently learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all your circumstances.
The Supreme Ability of Love
The wonderful love of God is revealed to us in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verses 14 and 15. When we allow God's love to flow through us it is well able to control our lives and to willingly compel us to do His will. We know from God's word, the Holy Bible, that Jesus Christ, died for all, on the Cross of Calvary. Those who truly believe, died with Him, that is their old sinful, Adamic nature, died. When He rose again, all believers rose with Him, to eternal life. This eternal life was granted to them as soon as they repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. At this point they were granted eternal life by God the Father and became one of His children. The love of God was so supreme that when He died and rose again so did all those who believed. They did also gain eternal life and became a child of God, forever. Everyone should no longer live just selfishly for themselves but they also should live unto God and for other people. How wonderful is the everlasting love of God for all His created humanity! How can we ever deny the mighty love of God? It is for all who have called upon the name of Jesus Christ and will do so this very day. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Many Are Called - August 16th 2023]]>Wed, 16 Aug 2023 02:50:35 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/many-are-called-august-16th-2023Picture
Jesus Died for All
John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17 informs us that Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, for the whole world. Why was this so? It was because God loved all of mankind, whom He created and did not want any to perish. Everyone remains a condemned sinner until they repent of their sins and become born again children of God. All that believe on Him and His word, then gain eternal life. Jesus didn't come to the earth to condemn the world but rather, that all might be saved. He desired that everyone would become part of His eternal family. Unfortunately, the majority of people, have rejected the call of the Holy Spirit, to repent of their sins. This means that they keep living under the dark cloud of God's anger and not the blessings of His forgiveness.
Few Find God's Way
We read, with great dismay, that few people walk on God's true paths of righteousness. These sobering facts become very explicit, when we read Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 and 14. Every born again believer, must enter the pathway of real life, through a very narrow entrance. That entrance is available to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They must be willing to believe God's word, the Bible, is absolutely true. They also must be willing to repent of their sins and begin learning, reading, confessing and applying God's words to their own personal situations. As they keep following God's ways they begin to experience eternal life, as a child of God. The alternative pathway is broad and easy to travel on but it is very deceptive and leads to destruction and eternal loss. God's way is narrow in spiritual scope and often difficult to travel on because of the deceptions and lies of the flesh, the world and the devil. However, it leads to everlasting joy and freedom. We must be diligent in prayer and obey the Holy Spirit's directions which are always in line with God's word. Only a few people keep earnestly travelling along God's eternal way and obtain the wonderful blessings of eternal life.
Put God and Others First
The verse, Matthew chapter 19 verse 30, at first sight, appears to be very unusual to understand. The majority of people quite easily embrace being number one in this world, but ultimately they will be considered by God, to be last in the world to come. This does not mean that every king or president or governor or CEO of a corporation will miss out on eternal life. However, it does mean that everyone who promotes themselves and the things of this world above the things of God and His ways and also the needs of fellow people, are on the wrong track. Many in Israel of old did not obey God's word just as many in the world today, do the same thing. Those who love the Lord and His word will become the citizens of the heavenly Jerusalem while those, who deliberately follow their own ways, will be last, with hell as their final destination.
Disobedient Christians Won't Make It
We read about those people, who were disobedient to God's word, from Luke chapter 13 verses 24 to 30. This startling assessment was made to the people of Israel but earnestly can be applied to any Christian who has ever lived, in including many who call themselves Christians, to this very day. It is so important for everyone who desires to have eternal life and live forever in the presence of God, to always follow God's ways instead of their own. Once the entry, through the narrow gate is closed, it will then, for them, be too late. At the moment it is still open to all who will repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Some people will put off being saved for too long. The Father of all will close the door forever and those who fail to repent, will be locked out. God knew before He created this world that many would fail to repent. He told them, because of their refusal, that He never knew them, as His own children. They will then try to plead their case, based on what they did and not on what the Lord asked them to do. The Lord called these disobedient people, workers of iniquity.
Walk According to God's Calling
We read about our God given calling, as His children, from Ephesians chapter 4 verses 1 to 3. Christians must live as bond servants of Christ's righteousness. This calling is a worthy one, full of His light, His truth and His righteousness. We need to be humble before the Lord, before His people and before those who are our friends and neighbours. We must bare with others, including their faults and shortcomings, with God's love. Always, we endeavour to keep the unity of the Holy Spirit, in a bond of peace. Our task is to love the body of Christ, the church and to reach out to all those who are, as yet, unsaved.
God Has Called Everyone
The Holy Spirit convicts everyone of sin, righteousness and judgement. This we read about in John chapter 16 verses 8 to 11. Firstly, people are convicted of having a sin nature that must be changed through the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the Bible. Secondly, they are convicted about the necessity of living in God's righteous ways to live with a determined resolution in personal integrity, with no deceit or lying. Thirdly, that all unrighteousness, including the ruler of this world, Satan and the lives of all who do not repent, will be judged and condemned and finally removed from God's presence, in hell. All of mankind will be either condemned or exonerated according to whether they have genuinely repented and fully accepted Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour.
We Have a Holy Calling
The Bible informs us in 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 9, that we have a holy calling, in the lord. This calling leads us, through the Holy Spirit, into a consecrated lifestyle. Our calling must reflect a genuine desire to be like Christ and walk in His ways. We cannot be made holy through our own works but through our willingness and obedience to serve Him, through His righteous ways. Christians can do nothing to earn or deserve His chosen calling. It is all through His amazing grace bestowed upon all who earnestly believe and obey his word.
Some Are Chosen
What an honour it is to be chosen to be called a child of God and a joint heir of Jesus Christ. Everyone, at one time in their life, are called to follow the Lord. Only those who listen and obediently hear and repent of their sins are chosen to be His children. The nature of God's chosen children is explained in 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9. We are chosen to be a special race of eternal followers of God and then we are set apart from the rest of humanity. As a result, we become a royal priesthood unto our great High Priest, Jesus Christ, the Righteous. From the time we were born again we became God's special people. All who accept the Lord's mighty sacrifice, on the Cross of Calvary, also receive His pardon of their sins and the great abundance of His wonderful mercy. This pardon and mercy is available to all mankind but only those who repent and accept His marvellous invitation, can obtain eternal mercy and blessings upon their lives.
All Can Be Chosen
God, who knows everything, has and is calling everyone, through the Holy Spirit, to become part of His great family. His family embraces thousands of people from every nation, racial group and tongue, on earth. He knew, before the beginning of time, who would accept Him. Those who willingly did so, have become His chosen people. There are many who have accepted His invitation, there are also many who are doing so, right now and others who will do so, in the near future. If you do not accept His gracious invitation, you are not one of His chosen ones, at the moment. I earnestly invite you to become one of His chosen ones, right now! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Control Your Thoughts and Tongue- Part 2 - August 8th 2023]]>Tue, 08 Aug 2023 02:55:41 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/control-your-thoughts-and-tongue-part-2-august-8th-2023Picture
The Importance of God's word
We learn of the supreme importance of God's word from Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12. God's word is living and powerful. It is the very basis for information that we need for our lives. The Holy Bible is not just any old book but it contains the instructions from God, Himself, regarding how to conduct and live our lives according to God's wonderful plan of creation. It is ignored by most people but it contains the very reality of how those who are born again, children of God, are to live their lives. The very nature of the Bible enables us to sharply cut away all the foolishness and deceit of the flesh, the world and the devil. It is well able to divide our being and supply the separate needs of our spirit, our soul and our body. With godly wisdom, its pages show us great discernment and wisdom, empowering us to know what needs to be done and how it is to be done. Our very thoughts and motives are revealed by its truths so that we can live according to God's will and purposes and not our own.
God Gives Us His Wisdom
It is important that we meditate upon James chapter 1 verses 5 to 8. There are so many times in life when we need direct access to God's wisdom. Always seek your wisdom from the Lord who is the true fount of all wisdom and knowledge. If we ask Him He is always willing to show us the right way to go. It is so important that when we ask that we don't doubt the Holy Spirit's reply. When we doubt we become like the billowing surge of a wave, tossed about by the wind. Those who do not listen carefully and apply God's wisdom correctly to the situation or even deny God's wisdom, will not be able to receive anything worthwhile from God. This results in us becoming double minded and unstable and restless in everything that we think, say, feel or decide to do. It is most important that we are willing to obey the Holy Spirit's directions in line, with the revelation knowledge of God's word.
Use Your Tongue, Wisely
Each person needs to be diligent and careful, when they speak. This understanding becomes plain to us when we read James chapter 3 verses 2 to 10. Every person and even every Christian, can stumble on life's way and therefore, commit sin. The wonderful difference between believers and non believers is that believers are able to repent unto the Lord because they are also willing to do so. Unfortunately, unbelievers have no one to repent to or they are not aware that they are able to repent before the Lord. Repentance enables forgiveness to occur so that our sins are washed away by Christ's shed blood and so wonderfully are not remembered anymore by God. A fully mature Christian is able, but not by himself, but only through Jesus Christ and His word, the Holy Bible, to bridle or keep in check, their tongue. With constant practice and obedience Christians are able to reign in their whole soul and body because their redeemed spirit is allowed to take control of a person's entire being. Their renewed spirit is able to tame human faults and weaknesses. Riders of horses put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey the desires and impulses of their riders. Large ships, which can be affected by strong winds and waves, are turned about with a small rudder, by those in charge. The tongue is only a small part of the body but how powerful it is! Wrong words can be like the small spark that sets alight a devouring forest fire. Our tongues can contaminate our whole character and personality and set on fire the very course of our life, for good or for evil. All of nature has been able to be tamed by the human race. However, no person, by themselves, can tame the human tongue. It can be used to bless God or be full of deadly poison to curse other people. Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. Remember, everyone, whether good or evil, has been made in the likeness of God. We have a spiritual obligation to speak, as Christians, in a manner that reflects our fellowship with God and a profound respect for His will and purposes.
It Is Your Decision
Every person needs to make a quality decision as to what they think, what they speak and what they do, before it is too late. Choose to use your life to bless God and mankind rather than just keep on doing your old unsatisfactory thing. It is essential you choose God's way rather than your own. If you make a godly choice, your thoughts and your speech will also then become the goodness of your actions for all eternity. Your eternal location must be secure in Jesus Christ and His word and in no other way. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Made in God's Image
Every person is made in the likeness of God. I am particularly referring to their spirit or inner person, the real you. Man is like God in that he can communicate with God and with other people in a spoken language, utilising his tongue. This makes man unique and without parallel on earth. How we think is often how we speak and sometimes how we act or react. We can communicate with our Creator using an angelic language or as many people do, in the common vernacular or dialect where they were born or now live. Being able to communicate, so as to be understood, with God or with each others, is a marvellous gift. Most other created creatures can communicate with another of the same species but not with God.
We Are What We Think
Important facts are revealed to us from Proverbs chapter 23 verse 7. As we think in our minds or our spirits is often the way we speak, accordingly, because our thoughts largely determine what we say and often what we do. If we are willing to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling our spirit, then our whole being, including our mind, will and emotions, will obey what the Holy Spirit is telling us, through our spirit. This will also make us more responsive to God's will and purposes and more readily able to become the obedient child of God, that we were created to be.
Listen to the Holy Spirit
The word of God, the Holy Bible, is your sure foundation in life, but it is the Holy Spirit who reveals what the Lord desires to say to you. In so doing you can accurately speak forth God's plans for you and sometimes for others. We read about this from Matthew chapter 10 verses 18 and 19. Those who have been persecuted by Satan, for their faith in God's word, are often brought before demonically controlled courts of man made justice. However, by listening to the Holy Spirit and obeying Him they do become powerful witnesses of God's saving grace. When Christians are asked to give a defence of their faith through God's word, whether to any group of believers or unbelievers, they do not have to think in advance about what they will have to say. What do they have to do? When the time arises they must be absolutely obedient to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and then listen carefully to what God is telling them to say. These words will be so more righteous and emphatic and convict the hearts of those who are listening. These words will accurately reveal God's will and purposes to all who hear what you have to say.
God's Word Accomplishes His will
From Isaiah chapter 55 verse 11 we learn of the remarkable effect of God's word upon the efforts of mankind. The saving of tens of thousands of souls and the entire changes of government structures and cultural desires have been achieved by the accurate preaching of God's word. Cannibals have become saints, governmental corruption has been changed to diligent and honest practices and churches have moved forward from lifeless organisations to powerful ministries of God's word. Those who are daily willing to learn, read, meditate, confess and apply God's word have been mightily used by the spirit of God, to convict sinners to become mighty overcomers of the flesh, the world and the devil.
Be Careful What You Say
What we say and how we say it is so important in the development of our personal spiritual maturity as well as the godliness of the people we speak to We must always be aware of their spiritual needs and their background and the circumstances in which they live. We learn about this from Matthew chapter 12 verses 36 and 37. Don't speak out useless and careless words. What we say is a very accurate barometer of our own real spiritual condition. Those who reject Jesus Christ and His redemptive plan of salvation and even eternal life will be condemned and sentenced on the Judgement Day of the Lord. If we repent and turn from our wicked ways our sins will be cleansed away by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. At that very moment we become born again eternal children of God. His everlasting life and His wonderful blessings for evermore, now become part of our lifestyle. Truly we have on that day of our repentance, escaped the clutches of the deceit of the world, our own flesh and Satan and his demonic hordes. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Why Mankind Is Blinded?
We read about the blindness, spiritually and the darkness of peoples' understanding and why it is so from 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 4. Satan and his demons, the perpetrators of spiritual darkness are the fallen spirits that man has to deal with, here on earth. Because Adam gave his God given authority of dominion, to Satan, through Satan's deceptive words, sin and death came upon God's creation. Ever since the demonic host, through warfare, pandemics and natural and man made disasters, have ruled most of mankind. As a result, we all live in a corrupted, fallen world. The world of people lives in this spiritual blindness and Satan is able to control the lives of all who do not believe in the word of God and the cleansing power of Christ's blood, that is available to them through the illuminating gospel of the New Testament. Jesus, alone, is the true and only real Lord and Saviour in this world of darkness and sin. Only by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Saviour can people escape the clutches of Satan, the god of this wicked and sinful world.
The Foolish Wisdom of the World

God knows our very thoughts and hears our foolish words and sees our deceptive actions. This we learn when reading 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 18 to 20. Very often the most deceived person in the world is oneself. We often believe that we, alone, are the wisest person, in the world. The world might think so, for awhile, but Christians must wake up to the true, godly wisdom of the Lord. In order to do so we need to become like a fool and drop our worldly pretensions to wisdom and realise that only the Holy Spirit and the word of God, can give us real wisdom. The wisdom of this world and its leaders borders on rank stupidity. God catches the wise and crafty people, in His infinite wisdom, in their own nets of deceit. He knows that their thoughts and their plans are nothing but enduring endless foolishness.
Always Walk in Righteousness
Always be willing to walk in God's righteousness, as revealed by the Holy Spirit, from God's word, the Bible. Our consciences are awakened to this fact when we read Ephesians chapter 5 verses 6 to 8. Don't be deceived by empty words and useless arguments that encourage immature Christians to sin. Those who are not born again habitually sin through their thoughts, motives, bad conversation and their foolish and violent deeds. Unless they repent, they remain forever under the wrath of God and they become damned and their punishment is everlasting torment in hell. Don't even associate or be involved in their rebellion against God. Children of God once lived in the same darkness but are now, children of Light. The result of walking in the Light consists of goodness, righteousness and truth, forever.
Live Repentant Lives
When Christians make mistakes or even lie, they must repent as soon as possible, even right away and get back into close fellowship with the Lord. We learn about this from 1 John chapter 5 verses 18 and 19. Every true born again Christian should not habitually sin but be willing to live sanctified lives unto and through the Lord. It is essential that they live according to God's word and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. This is their comfort and protection from all the fiery darts of evil and Satan, as a result, is not able to destroy them. We know that the whole world, who do not love and serve Jesus Christ, live constantly under the power and direction of Satan and his demons. These powers are full of wickedness and openly oppose God and His will and purposes. We must always be aware of what is good, which is of God and that which is evil, which is of the devil. Flee all known deceits and wickedness and you will be protected by the goodness and grace which can only come from our Almighty God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

People Are Deceived
According to God's word, the Bible, most people in the world live under the deception of the fallen angel, Satan, commonly known as the devil. The world is full of lies and deception because Satan is the god of this world and at this moment, not our gracious Father in Heaven. Satan rules directly through demons or compliant world leaders, who are also often deceived by the devil. These people or organisations are usually in controlling positions of large corporations and financial institutions. Their influence or evil control is felt or even mastered in governments and extend into the fields of education, medicine as well as societies and media promoting deceptive information. This deception occurs even to the top rungs of so called Christian churches and schools. Through all kinds of worldly controls, the bulk of people are constantly deceived, from generation to generation.
Turn Away From Evil
Important instructions concerning the way everyone should live their lives, is found in Proverbs chapter 3 verse 7. No one should be so conceited as to think they can live their life in any way that they desire to live. Wise people, who are born again Christians, should always be willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and daily consult God's word, the Bible. By learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word they will be enabled to escape the snares and deceptions of the flesh, the world and the devil. Every blood bought child of God must obey the Lord. They must fear the consequences of not doing so and turn completely away from all kinds of evil.
Mankind Is Deceitful
The inner heart or spirit of man must be cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ and renewed by the Holy Spirit to escape the evil and deceptions of our own lives and of the world. Otherwise, according to the word of God, every person's spirit or the real you, remains unregenerate and evil. This we read from Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9. Without a regeneration of one's spirit every person's spirit is deceitful and extremely sick or warped. People do not even fully know what they really understand nor even the motives of why they think the way they do. Sin in their spirits and minds hides the real motives of who they are and why they do what they do.
Wilfully Blinded
By reading John chapter 8 verse 44 we learn about the Pharisees of Jesus' day who were wilfully blinded by Satan. Jesus told them, plainly, that they were of their father, the devil. These men, like many people today, willed to practice his lies and deceitful ways. People with unregenerate spirits, are full of hatred and deceit. Satan is a murderer of mankind. He willingly starts wars to kill people and sends sickness to our bodies and promotes accidents to happen. He really comes only to steal, kill and destroy God's creation. He hates the truth and promotes lies and deceptions because there is no truth in him. When he speaks he deceives, through those who have denied the truths, contained in God's word. Satan is a liar and always speaks lies and half truths. Those who follow him and reject God's ways, do the same thing.
Unbelievers Reject God's Truth
All who reject God's word and keep refusing to repent, are those who continue in their own ways of unbelief and eventually become damned to eternal life. We read about unbelievers from 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14. Mankind at some time in their lives considers the amazing stars above, the mighty mountains, the rolling oceans and the incredible diversity of nature. However, because of his darkened spirit and mind, he tries to explain away God's creation by crude misunderstandings of evolution. The revelations of God's glory can not be correctly appropriated by an unregenerate spirit and a darkened mind. The things of God can only be correctly discerned by a renewed spirit and mind. Everyone who does not know God, as the true Creator of the universe, is spiritually blinded and is incapable of making spiritually correct judgements.
Believers Accept God's Truth
In 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 15 we begin to realise the tremendous difference spiritually, between those who are born again and those who are not. The truly mature Christian judges everything through the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit and not just through the carnal knowledge of mankind. However, the natural spirit and mind of man, has no real understanding of the nature of God nor of those who are born again, through the Holy Spirit of God. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

God's Children Are Predestined
We read about being predestined, as God's children, from Romans chapter 8 verses 28 to30. God, who knows everything, also foreknew who would choose Him to be their Lord and Saviour. His plan works together for good for all those who truly love Him. He first loved His children and because of this His children love Him. God predestined, before the world began, those who loved Him, as His children. They would be conformed to the image of Jesus, His Son. When they repented of their sins, they were sanctified by Him and Jesus became the firstborn among His myriad sons and daughters. Those who He predestined He also called to carry out His will and purposes on the earth. They became justified through His shed blood and they became free from the burden and guilt of their sins. He furthermore justified them and then glorified them and then raised them up to sit in heavenly places, with Him.
Adopted As God's Children
God's children were elected by God, as His own, before the foundation of this world. God has the foreknowledge of everything that exists and that He has created. He knew before this world was created all those people who would willingly love Him and give their lives to Him. They were the ones who were willing to carry out His will and purposes and not pursue their own. We read about God's foreknowledge of His people from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 4 and 5. He choose us in His love, as His very own. We were to be set apart and consecrated to Himself, as His own family. The Lord lovingly planned for us to be adopted from the human race, through Jesus Christ, His beloved Son, according to the pleasure of His will. Jesus died on the Cross for everyone of His creation, then rose triumphantly for all those who would believe.
Chosen for His Salvation
God chose His children, all those who were willing to believe on His word, for salvation, before He founded the world. We learn about this when reading 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 13. We, as His grateful children, are to continually give thanks to Him, for who He is and His majestic grace towards us. In order to become His children we repented of our sins and thenceforth were sanctified and made holy by the Holy Spirit, to do God's will and purposes. Through obedience and faith in God's word we were set apart and walked on the pathway that leads to spiritual maturity and eternal life.
A Warning to the Saved
What a wonderful privilege it is to be a child of God, saved for eternal life! However, there is a very strong warning for all believers, in Hebrews chapter 3 verse 12. All God's children need to be aware and take note that there must not be in anyone of us, an unbelieving heart and attitude, towards God and His word. We must trust, obey and rely on the Lord and His faithfulness to us, so that we do not turn away from Him. Everyone of us must not be like the children of Israel – all of those over twenty years of age – who refused to faithfully follow the Lord – accept for Joshua and Caleb and therefore they all perished in the wilderness.
We Are a Chosen People
Those who are obedient and continue in God's ways, are those who have chosen righteousness and truth and have not been led astray by the flesh, the world and the devil. We read about this from 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9. Each day, they have chosen to pray and spend time in fellowship with the Lord and as well as consistently reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, to all their current circumstances. They have pursued righteousness and have already become God's chosen people. These people are special and are a royal priesthood and are God's own consecrated possession. They are willing to proclaim God's wonderful deeds, virtues and perfections. After all He is their true God who has called them out of satanic darkness into His marvellous light. Those who were often nobodies in the world have now become His chosen sons and daughters, through God's gracious gift of mercy. All who don't receive God's mercy remain under the black cloud of His eternal wrath.
Choose to Be Diligent
Every born again believer must be a diligent worker, particularly when carrying out God's plans. Their attitude and behaviour must reflect their real relationship with their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Such important facts are learnt from reading 2 Peter chapter 1 verse 10. We are to develop God's given virtues of love, joy, peace, truth and righteousness. As we continue to do His will and purposes, we will not stumble in His chosen pathway for us. Furthermore, we will be empowered by the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible. This enables many righteous pilgrims to escape the useless snares, of a sinful life. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Choose Your Destiny
Our wonderful Lord has given everyone the opportunity of making their personal choice to choose their eternal location. We are told to choose God, the Creator, of all mankind and the entire universe. However, you are also able to choose your own way which leads to destruction and damnation in an eternal hell. If you willingly choose God you choose forgiveness of your sins and eternal life in heaven. Our own choice leads us into everlasting bondage and slavery to Satan. Doing things God's way gives us freedom, love, joy, peace and righteousness now and forevermore. Our eternal choice is made through our will. God knows all things and has known, from the beginning of creation, those who will choose Him and His ways. Those people that choose God, are elected as the children of God.
Don't Make the Wrong Decision
Right near the beginning of God's word, the Bible, we read about a decision which changed the future pattern, for all humanity. We read about this catastrophic event from Genesis chapter 3 verses 1 to 7. Satan, in the guise of a serpent, met Eve in the Garden of Eden. He had been the chief or archangel, who had rebelled against God's authority and was now cast out of the presence of God, in heaven, with one third of the fallen angels, who had also rebelled against God's authority. Satan was a liar and a deceiver, who was now deceiving Eve about the validity of God's authority. Eve told Satan that God had told them that Adam, her husband and herself could eat of all the fruit of all the trees in the garden, except the tree in the middle of the garden. This tree was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Satan beguiled Eve about the fruit from the tree and told her that if she ate the fruit from the tree, she would have wisdom like God. This would give her the knowledge of both good and evil. She then ate the fruit and gave some to Adam. Then they both knew and became aware of both good and evil. By doing so they had disobeyed God and then realised that they were naked. Afterwards they fastened leaves together in order to cover the knowledge of their nakedness. Sin had now entered the world so that God's beautiful creation, particularly mankind, had become corrupted and defiled. This seed of corruption has been passed on from generation to generation. All of creation now has a sinful nature and must be redeemed to be able to share fellowship with God.
No Excuses
God told Moses to tell His people that they had to choose which path to walk in life. We read about this in Deuteronomy chapter 30 verses 15 to 17. The choice was between life and prosperity or between death and evil. In choosing life people choose God's ways. If they kept God's commandments to love the Lord their God, they choose life but they had the alternative to disobey God. If they disobeyed they would perish and be destroyed, by walking in their own ways. When we walk in our own ways, we become like Eve, deceived. Furthermore we become rebellious to God's righteous ways. God's ways always lead to eternal life and His blessings. Our ways always lead to hell and eternal death or separation from God's goodness. Choosing our ways causes us to be damned.
Doing God's Will
We learn about Jesus being obedient to His Father's will when we read Luke chapter 22 verse 42. Jesus was about to face the greatest ordeal that has ever faced anyone, in the entire universe. He who was sinless, was about to die on the Cross of Calvary, which was just outside the walls of the old city of Jerusalem. He died for the sins of everyone who had ever lived on the earth, since sin came into the world, in the Garden of Eden. Jesus, the Son of God, was almost overwhelmed by the task that had been set before Him - the salvation of all who were willing to believe. Jesus was willing to obey His Father and from then on our complete redemption, became a reality. Because the Lord was willing to obey His Father, every born again believer should also be willing to do the same, as their Lord. Doing the Father's will and following His plans for our life, should be the goal of each and everyone of God's children. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Never Be Anxious
We learn, when reading Philippians chapter 4 verse 6, never to be anxious about anything, at all. What can we do if we can't worry? We can do in everything and in every circumstance and situation we face in life; offer our prayers and petitions to God, with thanksgiving. This must always be a continuous process in our life, believing that God will answer us and supply our need. Never keep on worrying or being anxious but simply believe His word and act upon it. Nothing that comes into your life will surprise God. Always God has the perfect solution for all of our needs. Just keep on walking in faith, His faith, for He is always trustworthy and true to His word.
All Fear Must Flee
We learn when reading 2 timothy 1 verse 7, why Christians should never fear. God has renewed our heart or spirit so that we should never keep experiencing timidity, cowardice or fear. Our renewed spirit, through the Holy Spirit, is a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Our very being is established upon a thorough understanding of who God is and the power of His word. The complete renewal of our spirit allows us to be calm and well balanced and to maintain a godly approach to all our circumstances. Satan's power over us is broken off and at our command, he must flee and he will flee, in disarray. There is nothing that is too hard for the Lord, His power working in us, enables us to be complete overcomers, as long as we abide in Him.
Don't Fear; You Will Make It!
The Hebrews of old, as a nation, did not make it into the promised land of Canaan. Why did this happen? It was because they did not really believe God's word, spoken through His prophet and servant, Moses. From these circumstances, Christians must learn, a valuable lesson and must be obedient to the Holy Spirit, as He directs them. The Lord has long ago, entered into His rest. We also must be willing to enter into our own rest, in Him. What God has given us to do, complete the task with all the zeal and might that God has given us. Don't try to do what other Christians have been given to do. Always seek God's will and purposes for your life and then in His strength, put it into action through His faith. You will then assuredly, enter your appointed rest, fearless and contented. If you are not at ease or overburdened, then you are probably doing the wrong thing or applying your strength and wisdom in the wrong way. You will have no fear and you will reach His goal for you, if you keep fully trusting in Him. Keep on being obedient to His plans and goals for you.
Love Casts Out Fear
In the perfect love of God there is no room for fear. We read about this perfect love from 1 John chapter 4 verse 18. Perfect, fully developed mature love, casts out fear. This God kind of love knows no fear. Fear and its lingering cousin, anxiety, expects punishment because of the expectation that guilt or doubt brings, for wrong doing. We must experience and understand deliverance for every sin burden that we encounter. Those who believe in God's judgement for sin and have not repented of their sins, are always full of guilt, doubt and shame. They cannot love God, or other people or even themselves, in the same way as a repentant child of God is able to. If you are truly a born again child of God you will be able to love unconditionally, because of God's life and love residing in you. Remember, that God , in His very being, is a God of love and His children have also become children of His love. If you are willing to love as God loves then fear, in your life, is a banished foe! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

No Fear
No blood bought born again Christian need ever have a spirit of fear nor a fretful mind. Read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all your daily circumstances. Keep praying and listening to the Holy Spirit's directions, for your life. Above all keep your eyes fastened on the Lord and do not be distracted away from God's plans and purposes for your life. Each day, keep walking and living according to God's will and goals that He alone has set before you. Always be obedient to the word the Lord has taught you. Always praise and rejoice, in the Lord and anxiety and fear will have to leave.
The Fear of the Lord
We learn and find out about the only fear or awesome respect we should have from Psalm 19 verse 9. The fear of the Lord is a wholesome, righteous fear. This is a fearful respect for a loving God and lasts forever. God's judgements are so perfect, so full of His truth and righteousness, we can always respect them. They are always in place for our protection and good. Never should we disrespect nor disagree with His judgements but rather obey them.
The Fear of People
Often we can be afraid to talk about things that we earnestly believe, from God's word, in front of unbelievers. This can be a trap or snare that we must avoid, at all costs. We read about this in Proverbs chapter 29 verse 25. We must never be afraid of mankind and what they can do. Our trust must be wholly in the Lord. Those who put their trust and confidence in the Lord, will always be safe and come out victorious in Him.
Don't Fear Daily Circumstances
Many times our greatest fears are about how we will get through, our daily circumstances. It maybe stress about how we are to make our mortgage payments or pay our power bill or monthly car instalments. It could also be about the possibility of catching the latest virus or being able to sleep at night or what we need to say to our friends or relatives. Matthew chapter 6 verse 25 gives us the answers. Don't be worried or always anxious about your life. Don't worry about what you need to eat or drink or what you will wear. Your life is much more than food and clothes and other living necessities. Give up worrying and diligently, each day and read, learn, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word, to all your daily situations. Become a doer of the word of God rather than just a listener in church. Then you will be truly victorious over fear, in everything you do!
Fear Only God's Power
It is so important not to be afraid of mankind or any of their threats. Having said that we must live a godly life. We read about God's awesome power in Matthew chapter 10 verse 28. Man can only kill the body but God can and will destroy man's soul- their mind, will and emotions and body- if they repeatedly keep disobeying Him. He will send their spirit to damnation in hell, if they ignore Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross and refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Every Christian, when they leave this earth, through some form of death, goes immediately to heaven, to be with their Lord and Saviour, forever. While we live on earth we must always fear what the Almighty can do.
God's Adopted Children
No true Christian, who remains so, need ever be afraid. All who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, become the adopted sons and daughters of God their Father. This we read in Romans chapter 8 verse 15. We no longer have a spirit of slavery to Satan and his darkness, including the fear of death. This kind of fear only leads to damnation in hell. As adopted children of God after our genuine repentance, we become free from the slavery of sin. We are sons and daughters and we are able to call upon our Father, in heaven. The Holy Spirit makes or births all who call upon the name of Jesus, God's children. We are to be at perfect peace with God and cast all our fear upon Him. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Binding and Loosing
We learn about binding and loosing from Matthew chapter 18 verses 18 and 19. Whatever we bind and forbid on earth has already been bound or forbidden in heaven. If any two believers agree with one mind about anything that they ask, within the will of God, it will be done for them by their Father in heaven. We cannot overcome Satanic oppression or possession of any person, who desires to continue in that state, but we can and must defeat Satan in the arena of faith. This means wherever unforgiveness prevails in our lives or in our family or in the lives of anyone else, who is not willing to agree with us, we are unable to do so. All unforgiveness or long term grief is an affliction of Satan and/or demons.
Believe That You Are Forgiven
John chapter 20 verse 23 informs us that everyone must believe, through Jesus and His shed blood, that their sins are forgiven them. It is an essential faith step on their behalf. If the sins of anyone against themselves or any other person are retained, those sins remain unforgiven. How essential it is that we are all willing to forgive the sins of others as well as our own sins. After all, your very nature has been changed to that of a purified child of God. You must allow your new recreated spirit to take control of every circumstance of your life. This very much includes your mind, will and emotions and even your bodies, agreeing with your spirit, in line with the Holy Spirit's will and purposes for you.
Willingly Forgive Others
Every Christian must learn to willingly and quickly forgive others the mistakes, hurts and even lies of other people. This is so important in the body of Christ. Don't give Satan or the flesh the opportunity to make you fall over, in your Christian faith. This is powerful information we learn when we read Colossians chapter 3 verses 13 to 15. We are to be gracious and kind when forgiving others even their intended misdemeanours against us. We must forgive as the Lord always forgives us, when we repent. All of us must be wrapped in unselfish love for one another! It is essential that we live each day, in the bond of unity and peace. These aspects of our lives must control, from our heart or spirit and settle all disputes, as they arise. A wonderful peace occurs when we forgive one another. Each of us must always be thankful to God for His wonderful goodness in giving us the opportunity to repent.
Always Admit Your Sin
From 1 John chapter 1 verses 9 and 10 we learn that everyone who repents has come to a point in their life where they are freely willing to admit that they have sinned against God and His word as well as against other people. Only people who are willing to admit that they are sinners, can be saved. If we don't admit our sins we become liars and the truth is not in our spirits or our minds. If we admit we are sinners and are willing to confess our sins to the Lord we will be saved. God, from His throne in heaven, will forgive us our sins because of what Jesus has done, on our behalf. He will continually cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins. This is everything which is not in conformity with His will and purposes.
Forgiveness Is Absolutely Important
When meditating on the meanings of the Lord's prayer, we come upon Matthew chapter 6 verse 12. As Christians we are very desirous of the Lord forgiving us our sins and deceits. We also realise that we must forgive sins against us both in speech and actions. Each time we forgive and are willing to forget we become more willing to let go both of the wrong done and our resentment of it. As true born again believers each Christian must keep developing into greater spiritual maturity
God Forgives and Forgets
It is so satisfying to read about God not only forgiving but also forgetting that our sins and lawless deeds ever existed. This we learn from Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12. All our reckless and deceitful sins the Lord willingly forgives us. That is so amazing! He not only forgives His born again, blood washed children their sins but He also forgets that they ever existed. The hand writing of the law as well as the breaking of His law of love, is forever forgiven and forgotten. In the same way we must be willing to do the same with our sins, against other people, as well as against ourselves! When we do willingly forgive and forget we become more like our Creator! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

You Must Learn to Forgive
Each born again blood bought child of God must always learn to forgive each other, whether family members, relatives, other Christians and particularly, those who are not saved. They must be willing to forgive intended nasties of speech and/or actions, as well as outright mistakes or even a lack of understanding, by other people. God the Father, through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, has totally forgiven every person, who has ever lived or is living or will live, on planet earth. It is open to each individual person to willingly receive God's great pardon of forgiveness for themselves. Today is the time to forgive, not later on, it may be too late.
Turn to the Lord for His Forgiveness
Ancient Israel had turned away from God but His wonderful forgiveness was always available, to all who were willing to forsake their sins. We read about this wonderful forgiveness in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14. God's people in Israel were the Hebrews or Jews but today they are all His born again children, everywhere. If God's children will only turn away, from going their own ways and seek Him through prayer, He will answer their petitions, in His righteousness. They must acknowledge that they have been doing their own futile things and turn back to His ways, as revealed by the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Bible. God will hear and answer them and He will then heal and cleanse their iniquities of their family, their city and their land. The Lord will forgive His children their sins and restore them to His full blessings and His rewards.
God Will Forgive and Forget
We learn of God's great redemption, for those who believe when we read Jeremiah chapter 31 verse 34. All of God's children, from the least in position and understanding to all those in the greatest positions and greatest understanding, will know who the Lord their God is. They will worship Him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. How is this so? These believers will have given their lives to Jesus and have begun to have personal, daily fellowship with Him. Their sins are forgiven them and their former way of living is remembered no more.
We Must Also Forgive
In Matthew chapter 6 verses 14 and 15 we learn of the absolute necessity of our willingness to forgive other people their mistakes and deceits and even their outright wilful sins against us. We must be readily and also quickly be willing to do so. At this point our Father in heaven, immediately, forgives us our sins and our iniquities. After all God has changed our very real inner person, our spirit, from having a corrupt and evil nature to a perfect God consecrated, one. However, if we are unwilling to forgive others their sins against us, this means that all our hurt and anger, that interferes with our relationship with God in heaven and our lack of His help, will keep prevailing. Our Father will not be able to forgive us our trespasses and sins because of our wilfulness in not forgiving others. We must forgive others every lie and hurt against us, that we know about. If we don't we will lose our entry into God's heavenly kingdom, as a result. No forgiveness means damnation in hell rather than everlasting life.
Keep On Forgiving
Forgiveness of others, by all Christians, must be an ongoing procedure, throughout our earthly life. We read about the importance of forgiveness from Mark chapter 11 verses 25 and 26. When we pray we must never have anything against any other person. We must forgive them, whatever issue or case or charge we have against them. Let it go! This opens the way, for God your Father in heaven, to be able to forgive your sins and transgressions. These sins are not only against God but also against any other person, we have offended. Again we have the stern warning from God's word, the Bible, that if we purposely don't forgive others then neither will our Father in heaven, forgive us our sins, mistakes and careless words and actions against other people. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
