Are You Deceived?
This world, lives day by day, under the great deception or lies of Satan. The only way this deception can be broken is by people submitting, individually, to God’s will and purposes for their lives. If people are willing to recognise that they are sinners, in need of salvation and are willing to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and ask for His forgiveness, then the snare of sin can be broken. Salvation brings forgiveness and only the precious blood, shed by Jesus, on the Cross of Calvary, is sufficient for anyone to obtain forgiveness of sins and their eternal salvation.

There Is Only One Way to Heaven
Many people, from many walks of life, throughout nearly two thousand years, have claimed that they were going to Heaven. The big deception is that Satan has deceived people into believing that they were going to Heaven by whatever means, or leader, or religious organisation, they decided or accepted as their proposed way to Heaven. However, God’s Word is very specific. It tells us in Acts chapter 4 verse 12 that there is no other name through which man can be saved except through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This is the only name, under Heaven, whereby man can be saved.

The Great Problem
One of the great problems for all mankind is the great deception that Satan has woven into man’s thinking. Man, himself , has cooperated to a large degree with Satan. Mankind has wrongly believed that they can be their own saviour. Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 and 14 tells us to “ enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” According to this verse, the majority of mankind has not gone to Heaven but to Hell, as their final destination.

Man's Heart Is Deceitful
Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9 tells us that the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. By itself ,it is incurably sick. Only Jesus and His shed blood can destroy the effects of sin, in a person’s life. They must recognise that they are sinners requiring a saviour. Only Jesus, is their appointed redeemer to the honour and glory of the Father.

Pride Is the Root Problem
Man is a very proud creature and usually believes that he or she is good enough to go to Heaven without outside redemption. They strive to live a moral life even helping their fellow man in many situations. They have even gone to church regularly and performed many civic functions and services and given money to church and charitable projects and have been willing to give liberally to organisations that benefit people and even work to help others in his or her community. They even help out in foreign countries. They do consider their works to be righteous or at least worthy of brownie points in their endeavour to reach the eternal heavenly goal. However, all our attempts at our own righteousness are as filthy rags in God’s sight
God Is Holy and Righteous.
Isaiah proclaimed this to an unrepentant Israel, in Isaiah chapter 50 verse 6.The God of the Universe is a Holy and Righteous God and no amount of even selfless acts by mankind ,will ever equate to the standard of righteousness required by God to enter His presence for eternity.

We Are to Be Holy, Also
In Isaiah chapter 6 verse 3 we read that God is holy, holy, holy. There is no unrighteousness in Him. In 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 16 we are told to be holy as He is holy. How can we be holy like God? We can be by being washed in His shed blood so that our sins are taken away and by desiring to live a holy life with commitment to God and His ways and thereby being a blessing to all our brothers and sisters in Christ. They also can be a great blessing to those that deny the Lord or as yet have not received Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour.

<![CDATA[God's Wonderful Love -Part 2]]>Mon, 03 May 2021 02:55:15 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-wonderful-love-part-2Picture
Only God's Love Can Keep God's Laws
From John chapter 14 verse 15 we read how important it is to keep God's commandments. God's commandments embrace everything that is righteous and holy. We are to love the Lord with all our heart, our mind and our strength We are to be willing to do whatever the Lord commands us to do . We are to love other people. It is important not to hurt people in word or deed. It is important not to belittle other people. We should also care for their needs. Never should we tell lies about them or in any manner, steal from them. Never should we desire to pay them back for evil words or actions that they do against us.
God's Love Must Be a Continual Flow
Romans chapter 5 verse 5 informs us that we have a continual flow of God's love available to us. God's love has been poured out upon us, through the Holy Spirit. When we think that we should say or do something in payback to others, the love of God constrains our emotional impulses. If we are obedient to the Holy Spirit and know what God says in His word, we won't go ahead and stir up strife, towards other people. This is particularly important in family relationships, in work place activities and very much towards members of the body of Christ. We must always obey the yearnings of the Holy Spirit, and not go ahead maliciously, to do our own things of the flesh and thereby cause strife.
Give Without Expecting a Return
Romans chapter 12 verses 9 and 10 tells us that we are to love others, not because of what we can gain from our relationship, but rather what we can give. We are to abhor all kinds of evil and welcome and desire all that is good. Always have kind affections for each other. Love others with a brotherly or sisterly love. Give honour or preferential treatment to each other.
Love Must Not Be Puffed Up
1 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 1b shows us that if we have a great deal of knowledge and we parade it in front of others, to show our supposed intellect, our personal being becomes puffed up. Those who truly love, only use their knowledge to help others and help build up their understanding.
Love Never Fails
In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 8 we read that love never fails. Love always attracts the best in other people, as well as in ourselves. Even great prophecies will fail. Speaking in tongues will one day cease, as its purpose to edify, will be finished. Even all the marvellous knowledge of modern technology and medical science will also be finished superseded by the wonderful everlasting knowledge of God.
The Greatest Gift
1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13 informs us that only three great gifts of God, will last. They are faith, hope and love. By far the greatest of these is love. This is the wonderful love of God which was demonstrated when Jesus went to the Cross. God, Himself, died and shed His precious blood for the redemption of mankind and thus gave the opportunity for everyone to be able to enjoy the God kind of life and love for eternity.
Our Love Is Established Through Christ
How can we be established in God's great love? Ephesians chapter 3 verse 17 gives us the answer. Christ is able, through the Holy Spirit, to dwell in our regenerated spirit, or inner person. You know His love in you because it is rooted and grounded in you. In order to build up your inner person and your soul, we must spend time daily in God's word, reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word, to all aspects of your life.
We Must Love Others As Ourselves
Ephesians chapter 5 verse 25 tells us that in the marriage relationship, husbands are to love their wives, in the same way that Christ loves the church. Both partners must be willing to love each other and husbands are to make a whole hearted effort, to sustain the relationship, being the stronger vessel.
Faith Works By Love
Galatians chapter 5 verse 6 informs us that even our faith in God and for life itself, will only work by love. The more you love the greater the effort you will be enabled to make in your walk by faith.
We Overcome Through God's Love
God's commandments are not burdensome. One of the reasons is that being obedient to God's laws, make the obstacles of life so more easier to navigate. We read about this in 1 John chapter 5 verse 3. God's love is demonstrated to a sick and dying world, as you pursue your love walk in every aspect of your life.
Be Compassionate To the Needy
1 John chapter 3 verse 17 tells us to be compassionate and loving to those in need. If you see a fellow Christian or even another human being in need, it is your responsibility to try and help them, if you can. This may be in finance or the wherewithal to help them. If you personally don't have the ability to help, then direct them to your church or a charitable organisation that can help them. If you don't make an effort, how can the love of God be shown to others? We must always make an effort to help, particularly as the Holy Spirit prompts us.
God's Children Must Walk In Love
The Christian life must be founded on faith, that works through God's love. The love of God is that which enables us, to become children of God. We must pursue His love in all our circumstances of life. In doing so we will put to flight the wickedness of the flesh, the world and the devil. Christians must be obedient lovers, just as God is the great lover of mankind, Keep on walking in God's love for you are an inheritor of eternal life and love!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[God's Wonderful Love -Part 1]]>Thu, 29 Apr 2021 03:17:11 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-wonderful-love-part-1Picture
We Are Inheritors
All those who love the Lord have His love spread abroad by the Holy Spirit, in their hearts or inner persons. This love is for the twofold purpose of worshipping God in sincerity and truth, as well as having the God given ability to love other people, of any racial or ethnic background. This love seeks the best in others and does not hold any grudges against fellow human beings. This love enables God's children, to walk by faith, in God's word and to instantly forgive others their wicked and intended deeds or mistakes. It is the love of God which surpasses all earthly understandings. This kind of love can only emanate from Jesus, by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for the honour and glory of the Father.
God's Love Is Full of His Goodness
Psalm 63 verse 3 tells us of the outworking of God's love to His children and the opportunity for all humanity. His loving kindness is better than life. His great love and protection for all His children who will heed His voice, is manifest every day, in His mighty provision for them. It is also manifest in His great healing power and in His goodness. Particularly, is His loving kindness manifest, to all who will believe His word and live by faith, in obedience to His will and purposes. All who make the effort to read his word, the Bible and meditate on its wise counsel and confess His word over their circumstances, experience His great love towards them.
God's True Love
We learn about an important fact of love, in Proverbs chapter 10 verse 12. Evil thoughts, divisive words and malicious acts are all forms of hatred, towards other people. However true love, God's love, covers a multitude, in fact, all kinds of sins. When we repent and ask for God's forgiveness, we set the love of God free in our spirits and then our souls, to all our family and relatives; other fellow Christians and everyone that we meet.
King Solomon's Romance
In Song of Solomon chapter 2 verse 4, we learn about the beautiful romance between the Shulamite and her beloved, King Solomon. In this instance, the Shulamite, is talking to all the daughters of Jerusalem. Solomon, the great lover, has brought his beloved to the banqueting house. His banner, over his beloved, is love. It is a description of God and in particular our Lord Jesus and His great love for His children and His bride, the church.
We Show God's Love To Other People
We learn about our duty, as the body of Christ, regarding our relationship with other people, from Matthew chapter 5 verses 43 and 44. In earlier times, in the Old Testament, it had been stated that we were to love our neighbour, or those whom we liked and hate our enemies. However, Jesus turned this idea on its head. God's children, the church, are to love their enemies as well. We also are to bless those who curse us and are vindictive towards us. We are to do good to all who wrongfully treat us and intercede, in prayer before God's throne, for all who hate us and persecute us. The more we do so, the more we will see the enemy defeated, as well as the naughty antics of our own flesh and the corrupt activity of the world.
Only Two Laws to Keep
Mark chapter 12 verses 30 and 31 informs us concerning the two laws that all true Christians must keep. The first commandment or law, is to love the lord your God with all your heart; your inner person or spirit; with all your soul; that is your will, or point of direction for your soul or spirit your mind or intellect and your emotions or feelings and with all the strength and the power of your body. The second commandment is to love your neighbour, that is your family; your relatives; your friends or even your acquaintances. You are to love them as much as you love yourself. Jesus said that there are no greater commandments than these two. You allow your spirit to direct your will, to enable you, to love the most downcast beggar along with the proudest ruler.
We Must Love Our Enemies
From Luke chapter 6 verses 27 to 36 we read how far reaching, our love walk needs to be. It is no where good enough just to love those who love us. As Christians, we are to love our enemies, as well. Not only love them in word, but also love them by providing for them and doing good deeds, unto them. We are to bless those who actively curse us in word and in deed. Those who are spiteful to us and desire to do harm to us, we are to actively love.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[Keep Your Healing]]>Mon, 26 Apr 2021 04:13:22 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/keep-your-healingPicture
Healing Is Most Important
Healing of spirit, soul and body is of upmost importance to all human beings. How often have we seen, either in person or on a television screen, mass healing meetings by televangelists, of many people being saved or healed. At times we have witnessed healing taking place, in our small local church and even in our homes. Healing is still fairly prevalent in some Pentecostal and faith- filled churches. The important question arises; how long do these people keep their healing? Is it for the full time of life's journey or does it last for only a few years or even months or weeks or perhaps, only a few days? Like most issues regarding healing; even if you are in a natural state, you have to live a healthy, lifestyle to maintain your healing. This means cleanliness, nourishing food and exercise.
God Is Our True Healer
We know from psalm 103 verse 3, that God not only forgives us our sins, but also heals us from our diseases. God is truly the healer of all who are willing to believe, in Him and His word.
Healing Is Our Born Again Right
In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 we learn that by the stripes or the blows that cut into Jesus' back, we are healed. Our healing is part of the Lord's salvation package, for all who truly believe.
Turn to the Lord
All of God's children can be forgiven, healed. and restored However, repentance is a vital aspect of our restoration. This we read in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14. We must be willing to pray and call upon His name. We must humble ourselves and seek His face. We must turn from our own wicked ways. If we do so, God will hear from Heaven and will forgive our sins, Not only will we be healed but also others who do so, will be healed..
It Is God's Will to Heal You
Is it God's will to heal me? The answer is found in Matthew chapter 4 verse 23. First of all, Jesus taught the people and preached the gospel of the Kingdom to them. Then He healed them of all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. This same work needs to be faithfully carried out by the body of Christ, in the very age in which we live. God certainly desires to heal or else Jesus would have been working against God's will and purposes.
Disciples Were Sent to Heal
We read in Matthew chapter 10 verses 7 and 8 that Jesus' disciples were sent out to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons so that the people would be free, indeed. All church leaders should tell their congregations that the Kingdom of heaven, is already at hand, this very day.
You Can Strengthen or Lose Your Healing
According to Romans chapter 10 verse 17 we are told that faith comes by hearing and hearing, over and over again, the word of God. Our faith rises as we daily, read the word, confess the word and apply the word to all our circumstances. As we pay attention to what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit or our inner voice, our spirit then tells our mind, will, and our body to be obedient to God's will and purposes. As a result our faith increases and so does our bodily health. Just because you were healed in a wonderful way, weeks or months ago, you must also maintain your healing by faith, daily, on God's word, If not you can gradually lose your healing and soon be back on your medicines. Perhaps you will be much worse than before, or even be faced with many other healing problems, down the line. You will not lose your healing, if you are diligent and listen and are obedient to the Holy Spirit and are consistent with your reading and application of God's word to your health and other circumstances.
You Must Live By Faith
2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7 informs all Christians that we are to live by faith and not by our sight or circumstances. Take your eyes off your situations and problems and put them squarely on the Lord and His word, as a consistent practice. Then you will be able to maintain your healing; spirit, soul and body.
Keep Maintaining Your Health
Your first task in life, is to keep praising and worshipping the Lord. You are to read, meditate and confess His word, each day. Always keep praying and interceding for others and as you pray for your family and friends, before God's throne, and obey the Holy Spirit's directions, you will surely keep your healing. There will be an increase in your spiritual and natural abilities as a result. You will have divine victory each day and be able to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Remember, it is truly God's will for you to walk in His divine healing and have good health but you must also do your part, in obedience to God's word and His directions, for your life. Place your life securely under the cleansing power of Christ's blood and live in His resurrection power. His resurrection and healing power will become stronger in you, as you abide in Jesus Christ, your Lord and Saviour. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[The Kingdom of God -Part 2]]>Thu, 22 Apr 2021 02:57:39 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-kingdom-of-god-part-2Picture
True Citizens of the Kingdom
From Luke chapter 9 verse 62 we learn about a very important characteristic of those who inherit the Kingdom of God. They learn the word and keep on doing what the word says. They read the word, meditate on the word, confess the word and apply the word to all their daily situations and circumstances. They don't stop doing God's will and purposes when things get difficult, but keep on going forward in God's victory. They don't look back at previous failures or at the mistakes of others, but rather keep pressing forwards by faith, that keeps coming daily from God's word, the Bible. They keep praising and worshipping the Lord and have determined to allow the Holy Spirit, to give them overcoming power, every day.
It Is An Everlasting Kingdom
The Kingdom of God is a mighty, everlasting Kingdom. Romans chapter 14 verses 17 and 18 tells us what the Kingdom is not and what it is really all about. The Kingdom of God does not consist of eating and drinking. It is not modelled on the aspects of an earthly kingdom. It is a Kingdom of righteousness where there are no lies or deceit. It is a Kingdom of great peace. All the battles are over for Satan and his demons are bound and every one can live and dwell, in perfect safety. It is also a Kingdom of wonderful joy, where everyone is full of the goodness of God and where the Holy Spirit flows through all of its citizens, in a fullness experienced forever and rarely, experienced on planet earth. This Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom where the flesh is dead and where the things of a Holy God, prevail.
No Unrighteous People in the Kingdom.
A very stern warning is given to all who are unredeemed. In 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 to 11. Every unrighteous person will not inherit the Kingdom of God. People must not be deceived about this. The list of unbelievers is almost endless. No adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, covetous persons, extortioners or drunkards will inherit the Kingdom of God. All who remain unrighteous will perish from God's influence and receive damnation in hell. Many Christians were like this before they repented and sought God's forgiveness for their sins. All who are washed by the blood of the Lamb and the water of God's word, become sanctified or made holy. They are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God.
Get Rid of Your Fleshly Works
Galatians chapter 5 verses 19 to 21 confirms that all who continue in the works of the flesh, will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Folks you can't just keep doing your own evil thing and get away with it! The works of the flesh include adultery, fornication, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, as well as becoming contentious and jealous. It also includes outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, believing wicked heresies, being envious, having murderous thoughts, speech and actions and being full of revelry and drunkenness, among other sins. Those people who do these things and don't repent, will be excluded from God's eternal Kingdom and from the eternal life of God's love, peace, righteousness and joy.
We Have Been Delivered From Satan's Kingdom.
All those who love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and have repented of their sins, are able to gain entrance to God's Kingdom. We are told about this in Colossians chapter 1 verses 13 and 14. The Lord has delivered us from the power of darkness, which is Satan's kingdom and has transferred us into the Kingdom of God's dear Son, Jesus Christ. We have been redeemed by acceptance of God's gracious gift of sins forgiven and eternal life, as a result of Christ's shed blood on the Cross of Calvary.
God's Kingdom Conquers All Other Kingdoms
This most wonderful fact is given to us, in Revelation chapter 11 verse 15. At the end of time, all the kingdoms of the earth, whether political, financial, or even false religions, will be conquered by the Kingdom of God, and His dear Son. They will become God's kingdoms as Satan is deprived of all his earthly influence and power and thrown into the Lake of Fire, with all his demons. The Kingdom of God will have no equal and will reign forever in God's power. Unfortunately, those who ignored God's righteous call of repentance and forgiveness will also be thrown into the Lake of Fire forever, as well as the Devil and his angels. Those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, while on earth, will remain with God, victoriously, throughout eternity.
We Are Righteous Citizens of God's Kingdom.
All God's children are released from eternal damnation as soon as they repent and have their sins forgiven. They, at that point become righteous citizens of the Kingdom of God. If you are one of those blessed people, then keep on worshipping and praising the Lord. Keep on reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word to all your situations and circumstances in life. Keep praying and bringing your petitions and intercessions before God's Throne, in Jesus name. Complete victory is yours right now and for all who are children of God, for these are the true citizens of the Kingdom of God.

<![CDATA[The Kingdom of God -Part 1]]>Mon, 19 Apr 2021 05:57:39 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-kingdom-of-god-part-1Picture
The Earthly Kingdom of God
All who are born again Christians are already living in the earthly portion of the Kingdom of God. Those who willingly hand over control of their lives to Jesus and repent of their sins, have now become citizens of the Kingdom of God. They are, through Jesus' shed blood on the Cross of Calvary, able to inherit God's wonderful riches, through His free gift of grace, His eternal blessings, forever. It is possible to backslide for a season and even make your faith walk almost, a complete shipwreck. However, there is always a way back through repentance and then being obedient to God's will and purposes, for your life.
Daniel's Prophecy of God's Kingdom
In Daniel chapter 2 verses 43 and 44 in the Old Testament, the prophet Daniel, prophesies of the beginning of the Kingdom of God upon earth, during the time of the Roman Empire. This Empire was like many earthly kingdoms, iron mixed with clay. This is an extraordinarily poor combination of strength of military arms and worldly wisdom. There is no way that true strength can mix with the futility of the world, and be successful. God the Father Himself, has set up His kingdom which will never be destroyed. Christians are citizens of this everlasting kingdom. This kingdom is empowered by the Holy Spirit of God and His word and will never be left in the hands of mankind or Satan, to be destroyed and broken in pieces.
John the Baptist Was the Forerunner
We read in Matthew chapter 3 verses 1 to 6 about John the Baptist, the forerunner of our Lord Jesus Christ. He went out to the wilderness of Judea, preaching to those who would hear, that they were to repent of their sins, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. This event was prophesied by the Prophet Isaiah, more than 700 years previously. John was to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. He was humbly clothed in a skin of camel's hair and a leathern belt. His food consisted of locusts and wild honey. All the people from Judea and Jerusalem went out to hear his message of repentance. They confessed their sins and were baptised by John in the Jordan River near Bethabara. All who repent and confess their sins are washed in the blood of the Lamb and at their repentance and forgiveness, have become citizens of the Kingdom of God.
Gateway to the Kingdom
We learn in Matthew chapter 4 verse 17 that the King of Glory, Jesus, Himself, is now preaching and teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus emphasises that the gateway is repentance and eternal forgiveness is given, by Him, to all who believe and obey. There is really only one key to the entrance, to the Kingdom of God. It is repentance and nothing less. Our God, our Redeemer, is a holy God. Nothing but full surrender to His will and purposes will do. You must never be half hearted about your confession and walk of faith. It must be all or it amounts to nothing. In life, we have a battle to win over the world, the flesh and the devil. Our freedom was made complete on the Cross of Calvary and our full assurance of eternal salvation and life is completed in our obedience to God.
Jesus Preached About the Kingdom of God
The location emphasis on preaching about the Kingdom of God, has now shifted to northern Israel and in particular, the region of Galilee. We read about this in Mark chapter 1 verses 14 and 15. Jesus is now preaching about the Kingdom of God, because Herod has put John the Baptist in prison. The time for the beginning of the Kingdom of God, was now being fulfilled in Jesus' ministry. The people were instructed to repent and believe in the gospel. This same statement must be preached in the churches of our city, state and nation, this very day. God's message regarding His Kingdom and repentance must be the same message, preached in Israel nearly 2000 years ago. The Kingdom of God is everlasting. The key to citizenship in that Kingdom, is repentance. The blessings and benefits of this Kingdom are immeasurable and enable a person to become a child of God and live in His presence in everlasting love, joy and peace, forever.
The Blessings of God's Kingdom
Mark chapter 12 verses 32 to 34 informs us of the wonderful blessings, that are ours, in the Kingdom of God. All those people who love the Lord with all their soul and with all their strength and love their neighbours as themselves, have become the true citizens of the Kingdom of God. Love is the fulfilling of God's laws and is far greater than all our good practices and diligent work efforts. Jesus had just been talking to a scribe, who had answered Jesus' question about the fulfilment of God's laws. All of God's laws are fulfilled in our love for God and other people. Jesus told the man that he, at that stage, in his answer to the Lord's question, was not far from the Kingdom of God. All Christians must also be lovers of God, of other people and particularly, fellow Christians. They also must love truth and all that is just and noble. Those who repent and practise these things, are truly citizens of the Kingdom of God.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Must Forgive- Part 2]]>Thu, 15 Apr 2021 04:59:19 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-must-forgive-part-2Picture
Freedom Comes to Those Who Forgive
Always forgive others their sins or mistakes against you. John chapter 20 verse 23 tells us about unforgiveness towards other people. If we forgive the sins of those that sin against us, then both us and they are free from the shame of those sins. If we don't forgive people their sins or mistakes, those sins remain unforgiven and often cause us to have a separation point of guilt. It is so important to forgive others. We certainly obtain our freedom in the situation concerned and hopefully they will also appreciate the wonderful condition, of sins forgiven.
Don't Try to Payback Others
Ephesians chapter 4 verse 32 informs us that we are to be tender hearted and forgiving towards each other. If someone tries to upstage us or put us down we are not to try and outsmart them but to be patient with them and pray for them. If they are our fellow Christian brother or sister, in the Lord, it is imperative. The major reason we are to do this is to be like Christ. After all we are all made in the image of God. We are commanded to forgive just as God, in Christ, has forgiven us. Forgiveness is akin to love and we are to make a big effort to love every person that we meet.
Forgiveness Requires Helping Others
Colossians chapter 3 verse 13 tells us not only to forgive but also to bear with one another. We are to be willing to help others at all times, but particularly in their times of grief and distress. Sometimes this will require us to get in and physically assist them. We are also to try and help the other person to see things, like we do. This may mean, on our part, that we change our attitude also, to see where they are coming from. We make this effort because the Lord made His amazing sacrifice, on the Cross for us. He not only forgave us our sins but also adopted us as His children. The Lord also helps us constantly, in our daily circumstances. Above all He has given us eternal life. Jesus will always be willing to help us to forgive others and to even forgive ourselves for our sinful acts, wrong attitudes and even our mistakes.
God Will Never Remember Your Sins, If You Repent
What a wonderful fact we learn about in Hebrews chapter 10 verses 17 and 18. Jesus has not only forgiven us but He will also never remind us of our lawless deeds or sins, anymore. We have absolute freedom in Christ. Jesus' sacrifice was the final offering for sins, for all mankind, for evermore. Just as Jesus forgave us our sins and no longer remembers them, we must also forgive others their lawless deeds and sins against us or our family. Not only must we forgive, but as much as is humanly possible, never remind them of their sins and mistakes but forgive and forget them and put them under the blood shed by Jesus on the Cross, on our behalf and theirs.
We Must Seek Forgiveness and Repent
If we sin after becoming a Christian, what do we do about it? 1 John chapter 1 verse 9 gives us the perfect answer. First thing to do is to confess our sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Jesus always forgives those who repent, because He is a just and holy God, who understands our human frame. Jesus, then will cleanse us from all our unrighteousness, every time that we sin, if we are truly sorry. He knows our heart attitude. Never be afraid to repent and also, if possible, tell other people that you are sorry for what you thought, said or did to them. Forgiveness is possible, in the Lord, for every sin or mistake.
Keep Forgiving and Forgetting
God has forgiven us so we must also be willing to forgive and even forget. What a difference this would make, if only this was practised more often and sincerely, in the Christian world.! It would surely make many people sit up and take notice of God's gracious claims, upon their lives. Those who spend time praying for others, as well as reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all their life circumstances, as well as worshipping and praising the Lord, are well placed to become great forgivers. They truly are learning to appreciate God's great forgiveness for all their sins and wrong attitudes. Forgiveness and love must be the hallmarks of every blood bought, born again, child of God. Their are no real excuses for a child of God to behave, otherwise. Don't ever give Satan, the world or the flesh any platform, to hurt you through unforgiveness. Always forgive! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Must Forgive - Part 1]]>Mon, 12 Apr 2021 05:05:09 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-must-forgive-part-1Picture
Christians Must Be Forgiving
Christians must be a forgiving people. Christ, their Lord and Saviour, has forgiven each one of us, all our sins and iniquities. He forgave us our wrong thoughts and intentions, our wrong words and our wrong actions. As His blood bought children, we are to forgive other people, not only their intended wrong actions and speech, but also their mistakes. Christ's love is daily shown to the world through the kind words and actions of His children. Particularly important, in all aspects of our life, is our willingness to forgive and not only forgive but like Jesus, put aside the cruel and wicked speech and actions of those who do not know God. We must also forgive members of our own family; our friends and relatives; workmates, as well as our fellow church members.
God's People Must Be Humble
In 2 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 14 we read about God's requirements for His people. God requires His people to be humble before Him. It is important, particularly, in these days of rabid and violent satanic activity that people pray to the Lord, on a regular and consistent basis. Furthermore, they are to seek the Lord in all their circumstances and turn away from all their evil and ungodly ways. If they do so, God will hear from heaven, because His people are now serious about doing His will and purposes in their lives. The wonderful result of seeking God's face, in earnest prayer, is that He will forgive their sins and then will be able to heal their land. God's people are often the hindrance to His will being performed. This means healing in our souls, in our family relationships, in our health, in our finances and even witnessing a change in the laws and prosperity of the city or country in which we live.
We Must Not Cover Up Our Sins
We are to confess and turn away from our sins. Proverbs chapter 28 verse 13 informs us what to do. If you cover up sins, so that others do not know about them and keep continuing in them, you will have no freedom or real success in life. Those who repent and confess their sins to the Lord and do not continue in them, will be forgiven and obtain, through God's mercy, God's gracious pardon. The sins of God's children must be repented of, before God is able to heal their circumstances and heal them and others involved.
When We Forgive Others, God Forgives Us
The Lord's prayer gives us wonderful information on forgiveness. This is found in Matthew chapter 6 verses 12, 14 and 15. We must ask the Lord to forgive us our debts or what we owe to Him and other people. This may be financial but it will include a lack of love for others, or a lack of diligence, or a lack of deeming others better than ourselves. We must also be willing to forgive others when they default on payments or agreements or have a hostile or unforgiving attitude. The most crucial aspect of our wanting to forgive, is that when we willingly forgive others, their sins and mistakes towards us, then our Father in heaven, is able to forgive us our sins or debts. If we don't forgive, it is a very serious matter. How often have we heard people say, that they will never forgive someone, for what they have done to them. We cannot afford to be like that! The Bible tells us that if we don't forgive others, from our heart, then our Father will not forgive us our sins towards Him. If we carry this attitude of unforgiveness, throughout our lives, then our eternal destination is no longer heaven but eternal damnation in hell. Every Christian must be like their Father in heaven and be willing to forgive others, just as He has forgiven us.
Before Praying Always Forgive
Mark chapter 11 verse 25 gives us and important point, for our prayers. When we are praying, wherever we are, if we have anything against someone else, we are to forgive them. Then we are able to pray in spiritual freedom. We also learn that, if we do so, we will have our prayers heard and answered, by our Father in heaven. Many prayer answers are hindered by lack of forgiveness, on the part of those who are praying.
Those Who Are Forgiven Much Are Very Grateful
Some people appear to have so much more freedom, in their Christian walk. We read about the woman, with the alabaster box of fragrant oil, who was a sinner, in Luke chapter 7. In verse 47 we learn why she was so grateful, for Jesus' forgiveness of her sins. The relief to her soul was so great. Jesus told Simon, the Pharisee, that she was so grateful to be forgiven and so are all those sinners who have repented and know they are now, forgiven. Those who are forgiven little are not as thankful as those who are forgiven much. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being -Part 4]]>Thu, 08 Apr 2021 04:27:28 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-4Picture
We Are All Spirit Beings
Every person is a spirit being. The major difference is if you are born again and have a regenerated spirit or whether you remain in sin as an unregenerate spirit. The regenerated spirit is heaven bound, with sins forgiven, while the unregenerate spirit is hell bound, with sins unforgiven.
We Are Convicted by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is always convicting our spirit and desiring our spirit, to walk in God's ways. James chapter 4 verses 5 to 8 tells us of the yearning of the Holy Spirit in us. Pride is often the reason we don't achieve what God has planned for our lives. We try to do things our way and it doesn't work for us or else it is just a great flop. God will always resist the proud but He will give grace to those who are humble and willing to do things His way. Always submit to God and do His work in His way. In so doing you will also resist the devil and His ways. Satan will have to flee from you, for He recognises God's resurrection power and authority being made available in your life. This is because of your obedience to God's will and purposes. If we are willing to draw near to God, He will then dray near to us. He will cleanse us through His shed blood and purify our spirits.
We Are God Like Beings.
Every human being is created in the image of God as a spirit being. Why? Well God, our Creator, is also a spirit being. This we learn from John chapter 4 verse 24. God is a spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and truth. What an important understanding, is taught through these words. Everyone who truly desires to worship God, must worship Him through their inner person or spirit. It is only your spirit which is able to connect with the Holy Spirit. Our minds may have marvellous intentions but they can never worship God, in spirit and truth. Our inner person or spirit alone, can truly worship God.
Resurrected As Heavenly Beings
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 42 to 49. We are instructed as to how we are resurrected from merely living as an earthly being to being translated into a heavenly being. Your earthly being is first of all fallen and sinful, but in Christ, we are raised in glory and made alive. Our earthly being is weak and foolish, but in Christ's resurrected power is raised in strength and glory. We are at first a natural being, but through Christ, we become a spiritual, heavenly body. All who remain in an unregenerate state, bear the image or being of the earthly. Those who are born again bear the image of the heavenly, which is Christ. In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 50 we learn that flesh and blood or our unregenerate state, cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
God Resists Proud People
God resists the proud and His grace abides upon all who submit themselves to the Lord. We read about this in 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 5 to 9. We must also learn to submit ourselves, one to another. It is imperative that we all humble ourselves before God's mighty hand. This allows God to exalt us, at His appointed time. We must cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us. At all times we must be vigilant and sober, because our adversary, the devil, goes about like a roaring lion. I repeat, he acts like a roaring lion. He seeks those whom he may devour. We must resist him and he must flee. How do we do this? We do this by walking by faith in God's word and by listening and applying the Holy Spirit's directions and by steadfastly proclaiming God's victory in our lives, in every situation. Remember, Satan only appears to be a roaring lion. He is no threat to a genuine believer.
Our Wonderful Victory in Jesus
1 John chapter 4 verse 4 informs us of our wonderful victory. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are both giving us their victory. Our spirit connects with God the Holy Spirit. God in us, has enabled us to overcome Satan and all his diabolic schemes in our life because greater is God in us than Satan operating in the world. We have God's victory over Satan, continually available to us, right now, so that we can always overcome. After all we have been raised with Christ and are seated in heavenly places, with Him, far above Satan's power.
Our Wonderful Conclusion
Always, every day, give your spirit as well as your body, three square meals of God's word so that you can truly walk by faith and overcome every plot of the flesh, the world and the devil. Remember you are, above all else, a regenerated spiritual being where your spirit is supreme to every aspect of your soul and your body. You are no longer just a doubt filled, unregenerate spirit being, but an overcoming regenerated spirit being, no longer destined for damnation but for everlasting life. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being - Part 3]]>Mon, 05 Apr 2021 03:13:24 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-3Picture
Speaking In Tongues
Speaking in tongues is a vital aspect of our Christian walk. Often we are not sure of God's will and purposes in any given situation. Praying in tongues can enable our spirit to have divine wisdom and understanding. We are not just conversing with ourselves or other people, but with the Holy Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians chapter 14 verse 2 informs us that ordinary human understanding is not possible when we speak in unknown spiritual or heavenly tongues, because in reality, in the spirit, we are speaking great mysteries in which God Himself is involved.
Pray in the Spirit and in Your Mind
Application of the gift of speaking in tongues is so important. We read about this in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 verses 13 to 19. To be of the greatest blessing, it is important that we desire to interpret the meaning of the tongues, particularly in the church situation. If there is no interpretation then the understanding or our mind does not have knowledge of what we pray. To be effective we must not only pray with our tongues but also with our mind or understanding. We can sing in the spirit but we also need to interpret with our understanding. Those who have no interpretation of the tongues, do not understand what is being prayed so they cannot even know when to approve of it, by saying: amen. Paul spoke in tongues more than everyone else of his time. In the church he would rather speak five words in his native tongue, so that he could teach others God's ways, rather than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue without interpretation.
God Will Preserve Our Whole Spirit, Soul and Body
1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 tells us how important our tripartite human being really is. The God of peace will Himself, sanctify or set us apart, completely. The Lord will preserve our whole being; spirit, soul and body. He alone, will keep us blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, when our earthly task is finished. The Holy Spirit will enlighten our regenerated spirit. We must also do our part by daily reading, meditating, confessing His word and the revelation to our spirit, by the Holy Spirit, of what is required on our part. In this way we will always be able to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.
Satan Is Our Greatest Enemy
In these often treacherous, last days, we must be vigilant in our spiritual awareness of Satan and his demonic hordes and their evil schemes. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 1 and 2 gives us a timely warning, by the Spirit of God, of the evil plans of the devil. Many preachers will not teach righteousness, from God's word, but their own fleshly, off the track, understandings. Many people and even Christians, will leave the ways of faith in God's word. They will listen, not to the Holy Spirit, with their spirit, but will listen to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. These people, of whom are and will be so called Christian leaders, speak lies in hypocrisy. Their own conscience or spirit will be allowed by themselves, to become seared, as with a hot iron and no longer believe God's truth. They will even forbid some people to marry and command people not to eat certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving, by all those who know God's truth.
God's Word Divides Spirit From Soul
God's word is living and powerful. This we read about and learn from Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12. The Lord's word is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of even soul and spirit and of joints and marrow. It is well able to divide our spirit from our soul and even our soul from our body. God's word also is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of our spirit. We must listen to and be obedient to what our spirit tells our mind, will and emotions, what to do. In so doing we will be able to understand and overcome the traps and snares of Satan, the evil one.
God's Covenant With His Children
This is such a wonderful thing that God has a holy covenant with His children. We read about this in Hebrews chapter 10 verses 16 and 17. The Lord has put His laws into our hearts which is our inner person. These laws are in the heart of every born again believer.. He also writes them upon our minds as we listen to and read His word. The laws of our loving God, we are to obey with all our heart and with all our mind and with all our strength, as well as loving our neighbours or fellow humans as ourselves. This understanding must become supreme in our life. Then comes a most remarkable fact for all born again Christians to remember deep in their spirits and appropriate to their minds. All our sins and lawless deeds He will blot out and the Lord remember them no more forever. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are a Spirit Being -Part 2]]>Thu, 01 Apr 2021 04:41:02 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-2Picture

Paul' Spirit Convicted Him of Man's Idolatry
Acts 17 verses 16 and 17 informs us about Paul waiting for Timothy and Silas in Athens. While he was waiting, Paul's spirit provoked him concerning the idolatry of the city. Often our spirit will also show us the truth of a given situation, so that we can act in accordance with God's will and purposes. Paul reasoned with both Jews and Gentiles in the synagogue in Athens. These were worshippers, who did not know what they worshipped. Paul also daily contacted people, with the gospel, in the market places. We also need to allow our spirit to show us how to witness to people at work, in the shopping mall or even at the park or while we are walking along the footpath or pavement. They may even be willing to take and read a track, outlining the glorious gospel of repentance. Always listen to your spirit, as the Holy Spirit prompts your spirit. Never barge into the deal, without a quickening of your spirit. However, be obedient and ask the Lord how and where and when, to reach out to others.
The Holy Spirit Regenerates Our Spirit
Romans chapter 5 verse 5 tells us how we learn to love our God. When we become born again, the Holy Spirit regenerates our inner person or spirit. As a result we once more are able to become like God and become one of His children. We now can worship God in spirit and in truth. Because God is love, we also become God-like in our spirit. The love of God has now been poured out, in our hearts or spirits, by the Holy Spirit indwelling us. It is the most wonderful gift of not only being able to love God but also to love our neighbours, our friends and relatives, those in the workplace, those at church and everyone we know and meet. It is God's wonderful love that regenerates our spirit and sustains us through all of life's circumstances. We are now the love children of God
God's Spirit Raised Jesus From the Dead
Romans chapter 8 verse 11 shows us how we are empowered by the Lord. The very Spirit of God the Father, that raised Jesus from the dead ,also raised us from the dead ,in Christ. This made it possible for all of mankind to have the opportunity, if they were willing to repent, to have their sins forgiven and be given through God's grace, the gift of eternal life. This revelation understanding, from God's word informs us that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and anoints and enables us, to live like God. This is God's own life living in our mortal or death prone, human bodies. God's own spirit lives in us and gives our spirit the life of God that then flows, as well to our soul and body. We are absolutely heaven-scented vessels being made ready for the Master's use, each and every day.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us a Regenerated Spirit
How do we truly know that we are God's children? We learn about this from Romans chapter 8 verses 15 to 17.God has taken the spirit of bondage and fear, from all His blood bought children and given them the spirit of adoption. Because His children have a new spirit within them, the Holy Spirit acknowledges God the Father, entitled in Aramaic, Abba; as their true Father, for eternity. Because we now are God's children, we have also become heirs of all God's goodness and joint heirs with His Son, Jesus Christ, forever. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirt, that we are indeed, the children of God. Those who are truly born again, have no doubt in their spirt, that God is their heavenly Father.
Always Follow Your Inner Witness
All God's children have the inner witness of their spirit, that they are God's children. When their life on earth is complete, they know that their spirit, the real person, goes straight to heaven to live with their Father, for evermore. In the meantime, while on earth, every true Christian needs to listen to their spirit, who alone is in contact with God's Spirit, regarding how they are to live and what God has created them to do. Obedience to the Holy Spirit is essential for a successful Christian life.
Daily Spend Time With the Lord
You need to daily spend time with the Lord, worshipping Him and praising His Holy name, as well as praying as the Holy Spirit directs you. Most importantly you need to spend time, even two or three times a day, reading God's word, meditating upon God's word and confessing and applying God's Word to all your different life situations and circumstances. Each day you will grow in faith and in trust of God's ways and purposes. No one can grow spiritually, except by constant diligent application, of God's word, to their lives. In this way, a Christian will overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. A Christian has a regenerated spirit and must learn to walk by faith based on God's word. Your soul and body must obediently follow the lead of your spirit person. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are A Spirit Being -Part 1]]>Mon, 29 Mar 2021 04:38:23 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-a-spirit-being-part-1Picture
Every Person Is Tripartite
Every human being has been created by God. Each person has a spirit, a soul and a body. The spirit is our inner person which we cannot see. It is often referred to as our conscience. That is the part of man that connects us, with God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, living in us. It is your real person, that will live forever. Our second part, that is partly observable through our eyes, is called our soul and consists of our will, our mind or intellect and our emotions or feelings. Our third part is the body or tent we live in. When we give our lives to the Lord, our spirit becomes regenerated according to the likeness of God. We are to renew our minds or our soul with the word of God, the Bible, and command our body to follow our spirit and our soul.
Our Inner Spirit Contacts God
How do we, our inner voice or our spirit, our real person, contact God? We learn this vital secret from Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27. Here we read that the spirit of man is the candle or lamp of the Lord. The Holy Spirit connects with our spirit and searches all the inner depths of our heart or spirit. When we need to seek the Lord, our mind or intellect reads the word of God but our spirit receives revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit into the inner depths of God's wisdom. Don't try to plumb the things of the spirit, with your mind. It just won't work. It is our inner person, the real you, who receives revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit, for God's will and purposes for your life.
God Informs Israel of a New Heart
In Ezekiel chapter 18 verse 31 the Lord informs Israel of a new heart or spirit. They were to turn from their rebellion against the Lord and their consequent iniquities. They had transgressed God's laws and gone their own way, just like many of God's children and their churches, are doing, today. The children of Israel were instructed by God to get themselves a new heart and a new way. They were to turn back to God and obey His commandments. The Lord did not want His people to destroy themselves and die, particularly spiritually. God has a great heart for His people. He longs for them to turn to Him so that they will not destroy themselves.
A Spirit Does Not Have Flesh and Bones
Luke chapter 24 verse 39, tells us that Jesus, when He had risen from the dead, was still in His fleshly body. He told His disciples to examine His body. A spirit does not have flesh and bones. The disciples, after examining Jesus body, knew it was the Lord. Our spirit lives in a body but is not flesh and bones. However, our real person, lives in our body of flesh called a tent or a covering.
Our Spirit Worships God
John chapter 4 verse 24 is very clear concerning how we are to worship God. In fact, there is no other way a person can worship God, except through their spirit or inner person. Why is this so? It is because God, Himself, is a Spirit. The Holy Spirit contacts our minds through our inner spirit. We worship God only through our spirit person and not our intellect. To try to worship God only through our mind, will or emotions is not true worship, but is only an emotional feeling or experience. We are spirit beings in reality and only spirit beings can truly contact God.
The Holy Spirit Is Our Comforter
John chapter 14 verses 16 and 17 talks about our relationship with the Holy Spirit or our comforter. At this point Jesus was about to leave His disciples on earth. He was now praying to His Father in heaven, to ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to empower and comfort God's people. The Holy Spirit is the One who is able to bring God's truth to people's spirits so that they can work and live in His truth. The Holy Spirit lives in every born again believer and gives wisdom to their regenerated spirit. He is in each one and abides in them and is able to comfort and direct each of His children. We know the Holy Spirit lives in us, as well as Jesus, but the world cannot receive directions from the Holy Spirit because they neither see Him nor know about Him.
The Holy Spirit Is Our Helper
Furthermore, we learn more about the Holy Spirit, in John chapter 14 verse 26. The Holy Spirit is our daily helper. Often we don't know what to do or where to go for help. All Christians have the wonderful comfort and help of the Holy Spirit, at their disposal. This is where they should always go, yes always go for help. Go to God's throne and ask the Holy Spirit for His perfect understanding. Listen very carefully, for He will always show you what to do. He is also our teacher. He shows God's children the things they need to learn and to do. He also gives us revelation knowledge of the meaning of God's word and how we are to apply God's wisdom in our daily life situations. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.!

<![CDATA[Your Wonderful Authority In Christ -Part 2]]>Fri, 26 Mar 2021 04:44:54 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-wonderful-authority-in-christ-part-2Picture

God's Power Enables People to Be Born Again
We must never be ashamed of God and His Word. This is important information we read in Romans chapter 1 verses 16 and 17. Why should we never be ashamed? Firstly, we are God's children. Secondly, the gospel contains the power of God which enables everyone who receives it and believes it, to be born again. The message of God's gracious gift of redemption, was first given to the Jews and shortly afterwards, to the Gentiles. It is through the gospel of redemption that God's love and forgiveness is revealed to mankind. It is revealed through revelation after revelation, of God's great faithfulness. This enables us to learn and grow in faith by partaking of God's word and confessing it, on a daily basis.
The Church Is to Demonstrate God's Authority.
1 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 18 to 20 informs us of how the church is to demonstrate Christ's authority and power. Unfortunately, some of the people in the church, at Corinth, were puffed up with pride at what they knew. Their actions did not correspond to their words. This happens in many churches, today. Paul was coming to Corinth to check out the proud ones and to see where they were regarding the power of God, at work, in their lives. It is so important to realise that the church should be a powerful place of healing and worship. After all many churches are filled with born again people, who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. Why are churches often so powerless, when God, Himself, is the very source of His people? He is in them to teach and provide for them and enable them to reach out to other people, in His love. Some may speak in tongues and even have words of wisdom and knowledge. However, many live haughty and even disobedient lifestyles and are ignoring the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Many pastors are often lazy or neglectful, in carrying out their spiritual duties. God's kingdom is not just in pretentious words or flowery sermons or well decorated churches, but rather, it is and must continue to be, a place of God's power, able to save the wicked to the uttermost.
The Holy Spirit Gives Us Revelation Knowledge
As we spend time with the Lord and His word the Bible, the Holy Spirit will give us greater wisdom and revelation knowledge. This is revealed to us in Ephesians chapter 1 verses 17 to 20. We will be enabled to understand wonderful things that no one, by just using their natural intellect, can know. This is revelation knowledge from God the Father, in Jesus name. We now are able to understand, not only for our own life, but also for family members and relatives that we reach out to, by faith, both in the church and in the community. We now know the hope of our eternal calling in Christ. We are now becoming fully aware of the incredible riches of His glory and our wonderful inheritance, along with all those who are His saints. Now we are learning about the mighty greatness of His power, which is available to us, to carry out God's work. We are well able to be victorious in all our earthly circumstances and are empowered to bind up Satan's plans and command him to flee. He must obey our authority in Christ. After all Satan and his demonic forces are now banished to the air and planet Earth. We have been given our authority by God and are seated in heavenly places, with the Lord, at the right hand of God the Father, with Jesus.
Remember Your Authority In Christ
Remember, your earthly battle is not with flesh and blood but with Satan and his demonic hordes. Keep using your authority, based on the word of God. This foundation is found in Ephesians chapter 6 and obedience to the Holy Spirit. In this way we will defeat him every time. It is a daily battle won by diligently reading, meditating, and applying God's word to all your situations in life. In this way you constantly demonstrate to the enemy and to other people, the authority and power that God has given you and every born again Christian, over the flesh, the world and the devil. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Your Wonderful Authority In Christ -Part 1]]>Mon, 22 Mar 2021 05:01:53 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-wonderful-authority-in-christ-part-1Picture
We Are Endowed With God's Power
Every child of God has been endowed with power from on high through their Lord Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This authority is to be exercised by all who love God and walk in His truth. God, Himself, anoints and empowers His born again children with His measure of His authority and power. This authority is to be used to help all those in need and to show forth His love to a dying world. It is a power that is to be used through His provision and healing for the benefit of all. It must be used against all the wickedness of the flesh, the world and the devil. This power must be used to show God's great compassion and goodness and His might.
God Pours Out His Spirit
Joel chapter 2 verses 28 and 29 prophesied that God would pour out His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, upon all flesh and that His sons and daughters would also prophesy. God would pour out His Spirit, the very being and power of almighty God, upon His people. Old men have had and will have dreams or understanding and young men shall see visions of God's glory. All that call upon the name of the Lord, both men and women, would receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Yokes would be broken over their life's situations, their families and the lives of other people, as a result of the outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord.
God's Work Must Be Done In His Power
Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6 informs us that the Word of the Lord was given to Zerubbabel. He returned with the main party, when they came back, from Judah's captivity in Babylon. His main work was to lay the foundations of the new temple in Jerusalem. Zerubbabel received a mighty vision from the Lord. There was tremendous mounting opposition against God's work, in rebuilding Jerusalem and the temple. He was told that the work of the Lord was not by man's power but by the Spirit of the Lord. All the problems of doubt and unbelief; and pressure by those against God, to stop the work; appeared as great mountains of hindrance. These mountains would be broken down before Zerubbabel's faith, in God. As a result they would now appear only as a plain to be walked upon. The victory of this work would be brought forth through grace; God's great grace. This is the same great grace that enables God's children, to be born again, by His Spirit, through the centuries. His overcoming power, in them, has become their great overcoming victory, throughout all the storms of earthly life. This has resulted in His victory of eternal life for all His children.
Jesus Has All Authority
Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20 tells us about the almighty authority of Jesus given to Him, by the Father. Jesus has all authority both in heaven and in earth. We are commanded by the Lord, according to the spiritual gifting He has given each one of us, to make disciples or followers of Jesus, in every nation. They are to be baptised or immersed in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They need to be taught, from God's Word, that the Lord commands us to teach His new creations. It must also be impressed upon them the necessity of continuing in the ways of the Lord and His Word. We, as well as all new recruits, for the Kingdom of God, must realise Christ's authority and His provision for all saints, at all times.
We Are Anointed for the Gospel's Sake
In Mark chapter 16 verses 16 to 18 Jesus reiterates how important is the salvation call upon all His born again children. We are to tell the good news or gospel of God's redemptive power to all those that we are appointed to reach, in our little or big corner of the world. Those who are willing to believe and are baptised will be saved. Those who do not believe will be condemned to everlasting damnation in hell. To show God's power to an unbelieving world, signs or even miracles, will follow those who believe. Signs, include casting our demons and freeing people from satanic domination and oppression in their lives. They will also speak in new tongues that are quite distinct from known human languages. These people will not be afraid of serpents and if they are caused to drink poison, at the hands of wicked people, it will not hurt them; for their trust is in God. They will have wonderful healing power given to them by God to heal all who are sick and believe and they will recover.
God Lives and His Power Resides In Us
Jesus sent out seventy of His disciples with His anointing and authority. We read about this in Luke chapter 10 verses 18 to 20 . After their mission was over, they returned with joy to the Lord stating that even the demons were subject to them. Jesus told them that He had seen Satan fall like lightening from heaven. Jesus had given these people His authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, alias demons and demonic power. These were the demonic forces that bound up people's spirits and minds. He had given them authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing would hurt them. We must remember that with God living in us, we have been given His power and authority over all the works of the enemy. These demonic spirits are subject to God's authority. Jesus told them however, that both they and us should even more rejoice because our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life, in heaven, for eternity. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Good Shepherd -Part 1]]>Thu, 18 Mar 2021 05:04:08 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-good-shepherd-part-1Picture
Jesus Truly Cares
The Good Shepherd is Jesus. He Is the only One who truly cares for the flock whom He purchased with His own shed blood on Calvary. Jesus always searches for any lost lambs that are going astray. He is the One who is able to bring them back to His fold of righteousness. Jesus created you and knows all about you. All those who have given their lives to the Lord, are His children. These are the sheep that God the Father knew were His own sheep since the foundation of the world. They are the ones that the Father has given into the hands of the Lord, for eternal safe keeping. They are the true sheep of the Good Shepherd.
David Was Israel's Shepherd.
The Lord had been very disappointed with Saul's rebellion and disobedience. He know had chosen a new king, David. This we read about in 2 Samuel chapter 5 verse 2. David had been the one who had led Israel into battle and brought them triumphantly, home. The Lord now replaced Saul with David as king. He was to be the shepherd as well as the ruler over Israel. A shepherd cares for his flock of sheep. The pastor of a church group should not only lead the church but take precious care of all its members. Particularly, must he love them and help those that are struggling. He should know about and be responsible for all the regular participants of his church. The pastor or shepherd should be there for the flock's benefit and not there own. They should care for the sheep just as Jesus, the Good Shepherd, cares for all those who are His.
The Lord Is My Shepherd
Probably the best known and most loved, of David's psalms, is Psalm 23. In verses 1 to 3 we find such comforting words for our Christian walk. Because Jesus is my shepherd, if I trust in Him completely, I shall not want. He makes me live and work in pleasant places and supplies all my needs, without stress or upset. Through His Word and my obedience to the Holy Spirit, He restores my soul. Through His Word, He leads me in paths of righteousness. These are His paths of love, joy and peace. He does these things for me, because of His great love, so that the Father may be glorified through His Son, Jesus.
The Lord Will Feed His Flock
From Isaiah chapter 40 verse 11 we read that the Lord will feed His flock, His blood bought children, both spiritually and materially. All the young lambs, who know very little about life, He gathers up in His arms and carries them in His bosom. He loves all who trust in Him and His ways particularly those who may be struggling and require His comforting arms. He carries them close to His bosom or heart. Jesus gently leads the young Christians and those who are young in the faith. The Lord enables them to cope with their Christian walk, as well as all their everyday circumstances.
Shepherds Must Not Neglect Their Flock
In Ezekiel chapter 34 verses 2 to 17 we read of God's great displeasure against the shepherds or spiritual overseers of the children of Israel. Ezekiel was instructed to prophecy against the self seeking shepherds. They fed themselves before they fed the flock. These shepherds did not instruct, nor warn, nor look after the needs of God's people. Physically they ate the finest meat. Spiritually they did not teach them God's will and purposes. They did not care for the weak nor cared about healing the sick. People were not helped in their time of need nor was there any interest in those who were going astray. They still took their tithes and offerings without giving their flock their due spiritual return. Of course, as it happens, with all those type of shepherds, the sheep were scattered and became fodder for unspiritual predators. They wandered far away, for no one cared for them. There was no real shepherd and many a church is in the same position, today. The shepherds often feed themselves with fat incomes and live in great comfort. The Lord is against these shepherds and will require His flock from their hands. The Lord will deliver His flock and as the real Good Shepherd, He will feed them and care for them. He will seek His own, wherever they have been scattered. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[His Perfect Peace -Part 2]]>Mon, 15 Mar 2021 04:43:19 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/his-perfect-peace-part-2Picture
God's Love Brings Peace and Long Life
Those who don't forget to fulfil God's perfect law of love; that is loving God with all their heart, mind and strength and loving their neighbour as themselves, will have His perfect peace. We read about God's promise to those who don't forget God's laws in Proverbs chapter 3 verse 1 and 2. From these verses, in Proverbs, also comes a wonderful promise that God will grant long life to those who obey Him and peace, the peace of God, will be added to their life. In Proverbs chapter 3 verse 17 we learn that these ways of peace are pleasant ways to live for they are God's ways and not our own.
Peace Without God Is Impossible
We read in Isaiah chapter 57 verses 20 and 21 that the wicked or unrepentant are like the troubled sea because they cannot rest. God says there is no peace for the wicked. No one, I mean no one, can have peace with God by themselves. True peace is only available to those who are blood bought, sin's forgiven, children of God. We read about this in Romans chapter 5 verse 1. These people have been justified by faith, through Christ's shed blood. As a result they have peace, with God, through their Lord Jesus Christ. We must desire peace in our life to obtain His real lasting peace. Don't ever try to make your own peace, without God; because it just won't work.
Peace Is the Umpire of Life
Remember, peace is your daily umpire. If you are not sure whether you should do something ask the Holy Spirit. Check with your inner voice and then let your inner voice tell your mind the answer. If you have no peace and your mind, will and emotions are like a sieve; or like wildly tossed waves; then forget it. You have not heard the Holy Spirit but rather you are listening to the flesh. However, if you do have peace, then be obedient to do what your spirit tells you to do. We often refer to our inner voice as out conscience.
Peace Is Found in the Kingdom of God
Romans chapter 14 verses 17 and 18 informs us about the Kingdom of God and how you can know when you are living in this kingdom. First of all it does not consist of eating and drinking nor of any of the other activities of the flesh. It certainly does consist of righteousness, which is God's perfect wholeness and it also consists of peace, which is a complete abiding, without strife, in God's will and purposes. To this is added untold joy, such as those outside of Christ, cannot enjoy nor even appreciate These are the real things that we are to pursue in life. In so doing we will be able to bless and build up other people, as well as ourselves and live a life of great peace. This peace is enabled by the Holy Spirit, living in us, and to a diligent commitment to live according to God's Word, every day.
Christ's Blood Gives Us Peace
Ephesians chapter 2 verses 14 and 15 informs us how blessed we really are to be God's children. We have been brought near to God the Father, by Christ's shed blood. Jesus Christ, Himself, is our peace and has made all who believe in Him, for their redemption, one body of believers. He has broken down the wall of separation for all who believe and recognise Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. In His flesh He has abolished the enmity that was contained in the law of commandments. He has recreated each believer, a completely new person, with a regenerated inner person or spirit. By doing so the Lord has recreated His people and bestowed upon them His perfect peace.
Never Be Anxious or Upset
Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 and 7 tells us to be anxious for nothing. In all our prayers and supplications to the Lord we are to give thanksgiving to Him for His marvellous provision for us. Above all we are to be thankful for forgiveness of our sins and His provision of eternal life. As we acknowledge His goodness, the peace of God floods our very being. We will have His peace which surpasses all human understanding. This peace will guard our heart or inner person as well as our mind, our will and our emotions. We will have our full security in Him.
Complete Peace Is in Christ
Romans chapter 15 verse 33 tells us why a Christian can be filled with God's peace. It is because God, Himself, is the God of peace. How wonderful is it that Christians can be just like their Father and Lord who, as the God of peace, is their very own peace! Jesus is our complete sufficiency and therefore our complete peace is in Him. We must be diligent in our relationship with the Lord through reading His Word and being obedient to the directions of the Holy Spirit. The winds of change, are often very boisterous winds and they will be trying to rock your boat from outside. However, inside will be the perfect calm of His quietness and peace, forever. Be obedient and it will happen. Be constant and diligent in your Christian endeavour. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Good Shepherd -Part 2]]>Thu, 11 Mar 2021 04:58:19 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-good-shepherd-part-2Picture

Jesus Cares for the Lost Sheep
Perhaps the most important aspect of the Good Shepherd is revealed in the parable that Jesus uses in Luke chapter 15 verses 4 to 8. This is the well known parable of the lost sheep. The Lord is always looking out for those who are lost. He desires to lead them back to their heavenly home. A shepherd had one hundred sheep. This would be a small to medium sized church congregation. He loses one of them so immediately he goes searching for the lost sheep. This sheep is lost in the wilderness of sin, doubt, unbelief and sceptism. He sends a please come back card. The church sends out an invitational email. The pastor tries to secure a home visit. He hunts until he finds the lost soul. When they return the lost sheep is borne on the shoulders of the prayers of the congregation. There is great rejoicing for the lost one, has been found. In heaven itself, there is even more joy over one sinner or backslider who returns to the Lord than over the ninety nine who are safely in the sheepfold. The lost one is now secure in the love of the Lord, the Good Shepherd and is reconciled with their fellow believers.
The Good Shepherd Gives His Life For the Sheep
John chapter 10 verses 11 to 16 informs us that Jesus is the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep, His blood bought children. He gave His life for all of mankind. All the good shepherds, who have been appointed by God over their church flocks, always take special care to teach God's Word and to care for all those entrusted to their oversight. Someone, who is only hired by a vote of the people or a church council or denominational board does not necessarily have a real heart for God's people. They often are what the Bible calls hirelings. They may be very talented speakers with bright and colourful personalities, but they do not have a real heart or anointing for God's Word or for God's people. It is basically only a refined job or position, like any other occupation. Sadly, money and religious influences are often the motives for being a pastor. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, loves and knows His people and they know Him. Hirelings flee when the going gets tough and leave the sheep to fend for themselves or even become scattered. Jesus laid down His life for His sheep. Jesus had another fold beside the Jews. They were the Gentiles: all who are truly His will hear His voice . He will and has joined His two flocks together as one flock, under the leadership of one Shepherd, forever. All ministry positions must be appointed and anointed by God.
All True Pastors Need To Be Good Shepherds
Acts chapter 20 verses 28 and 29. First of all they need to be careful what they understand the Holy Spirit is revealing to them from God's Word. This information must be carefully relayed from their inner voice to their minds before thy can accurately teach God's will and purposes to their flock. All real pastors must be appointed and anointed by the Holy Spirit. What is their task? It is to spiritually feed their flock God's Word as overseers or shepherds. They are to care for them and also correct the individual members of the flock as God gives them understanding and not through fleshly ideas of their own. These ideas can be man's ideas involving the world and even the devil. Their flock must be taught to daily spend time with the Lord and His Word. The flocks must be taught to continually worship and praise the Lord, daily, apart from church services and organised prayer meetings. All blood bought Christians must be taught to grow in faith, based on God's Word. Pastors are to be guides not overlords.
Shepherds Should Love Their Flocks
1 Peter chapter 5 verses 1 to 5 exhorts true shepherds or pastors to care for all of God's flock. They are overseers who should look after God's children because they desire to rather than they have to. They should do it eagerly and not just for a paycheck or having an attitude of merely making a living out of God's people. Their heart attitude must be to serve the Lord in righteousness and to see God's flock growing in His grace, into spiritual maturity ,well able to please the Lord and destroy the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. Shepherds or pastors are not to be lords over their flock but gentle leaders of God's truth. They are to be examples of God's love, joy, peace and particularly, God's patience. When the Chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ, appears they will receive a crown of glory which lasts for evermore.
Parents need to shepherd their children in the home, bringing them up in the love and admonition of the Lord. Christian teachers in church situations or if possible, in every day school instructions need to care for the children in their class as under shepherds of the Lord. To be a good shepherd in any situation, Christians must carefully follow the example of the Good Shepherd our Lord Jesus. Follow the pattern He has set for us in His Word, the Bible and always be willing to change as required, to be more like Jesus. Hallelujah! Praise The Lord!

<![CDATA[His Perfect Peace --Part 1]]>Mon, 08 Mar 2021 03:31:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/his-perfect-peace-part-1Picture
Perfect Wholeness in Christ
God's perfect peace or wholeness in Christ, is a Christians' most wonderful inheritance. You can have peace in your inner person and even in your own personal circumstances, while the world is raging in violence and madness, outside. Peace does not mean there are no temptations or trials. It does not mean there are no obstacles to overcome, but it does mean you have perfect confidence, in God and His Word and His ability. He keeps each individual person in His will and purposes, when the world, the flesh and the devil is trying to destroy God's perfect will in your life. To be able to have God's perfect peace, keep your mind, your will and your emotions firmly founded on the will of God. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit through your inner voice or person. This provides for wholeness to your spirit, soul and body.
God Provides His Peace for His children
In Numbers chapter 6 verse 26 we read that God's countenance or presence is upon all who desire Him. The result of this is that God provides His perfect peace to each of his children's every day circumstances. First thing in the morning spend time reading His Word and bring your supplications and petitions before His throne. Keep thinking about and meditating upon His Word. Confess appropriate verses over each need or situation. Don't stop with just one reading or meditation or confession but be diligent in your prayer application each and every day. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. Be obedient to God's will and purposes and His complete peace will flood your very being.
Let the Lord Give You sleep
Instead of counting sheep to get to sleep, relax and allow the Lord to take you gently into slumber land. We read about this in Psalm 4 verse 8. Here we read that the Lord will help you when you lie down to sleep. His way is a way of peace. We learn that as we close our eyes we begin to dwell in His perfect safety free from fear. Psalm 4 verse 8 is a wonderful verse to repeat to yourself or pray over young children, when they find it hard to settle down. God will give His angels charge over you and your family and you can safely lie down in His peaceful arms.
Obedience Brings His Perfect Peace
Isaiah chapter 26 verse 3 is a wonderful summary of God's peace. Those who are willing to obey the Lord and walk in His ways are kept by the Lord in God's perfect peace. Their whole being is founded on God and His Word. This person has learnt to trust in the Lord and listen carefully to the Holy Spirit. All the Christians, that are truly God's children, must spend time every day, with Jesus their Lord and Saviour. They bring their petitions and intercessions before God's throne. Constantly, at least once or twice a day, they renew their spiritual strength by reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's Word to their situations in life. This is where their strength comes from. It is also where their inner peace is established. Everything else in life becomes second to their time with the Lord. These people are inheriting God's perfect peace.
God Gives Us Peaceful Speech
For all those that love the Lord, God has already given them the things to say. God has created the fruit of their lips, so that they will produce goodness in what they say. Isaiah chapter 57 verse 19 gives us a vivid description of that fruit. It is a message of peace and even more peace to all those who are far away from the Kingdom of God. It is especially, also, for those who hear His voice and speak His peace to all those they meet. How wonderful is the fruit of peace! God will heal and preserve all those who tell forth His peace and also to those who accept His peace. Further along in Isaiah chapter 57 verse 21 we read that for those who do not receive God's abundant reconciliation and his peace; there is no peace. For all the wicked or twisted souls, there is constant turmoil. Because these people do not receive God's gracious gift of salvation and peace, there remains only hell and eternal damnation and they live in fear while here on earth.
Only Christians Can Have Peace.
John chapter 16 verse 33 informs us that if we follow the Holy Spirit's directions and what God's Word instructs us to do, we will have peace. It is only in this world of sin that those who are in Jesus, will have peace. In the world everyone can suffer some type of tribulation, whether personally or in their family. This world in indeed a sinful place that is dominated by Satan over all those who are not born again Christians. However, Christians must always be of good cheer! Those in Christ have overcome the world, therefore they can have, in Him, a life of perfect peace.
Jesus Calms the Storms of Life
Mark chapter 4 verses 37 to 39 tells us of a storm on the Lake of Galilee, that threatened the very lives of the disciples. They awoke Jesus and asked Him if He cared that they might perish.. Jesus calmed the storm with the command ''Peace be still.” The wind and the waves obeyed Him. He will also do the same for us when life's storms come upon us. We must also learn to have the faith, that Jesus has and still the storms in His name. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[You Are Responsible - Part 2]]>Thu, 04 Mar 2021 04:21:18 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-responsible-part-2Picture
Developing in Maturity
Romans chapter 5 verses 1 to 5 gives us an excellent understanding as to how our life is able to develop in Christian maturity. First of all, we have been justified or made righteous in Christ. Now we are forgiven and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. From now on we can be helped by the Lord to live in God's grace. We have become rejoicing people. As a result we learn to glory in tribulations and persevere in righteousness when things are heavy going. Doing so enables us to grow in character; more like Christ. We now have far greater hope and faith that God both now and in the future will put us over the hill to His triumphant victory in life. We embrace God's great love which is spread abroad in our heart or inner person, by the Holy Spirit. The Lord has now enabled us to become far more responsible in our lives, than what we once were. We are now taking upon us, not only for ourselves but also for the benefit of others; the lifestyle and empowerment of Christ.
We Must Humble Ourselves
1 Peter chapter 5 verses 6 to 9 enjoins us to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. It is so important that we are willing to humble ourselves, rather than God allowing circumstances and situations and even other people ,to humble us. Shame will come to those who sooner or later, refuse to humble themselves. Humbling, by no means, is grovelling but accepting God's will and purposes for our lives. We also learn to deem others better than ourselves. It is imperative that we cast all our cares, or fears upon the Lord. We are to be sober or self controlled. To be responsible, it is vital to be vigilant and prepared for all of Satan's attacks. Think only good thoughts and be careful of your speech and actions. Quickly repent when you realise you have made a mistake. Always remember, Satan is walking around trying to cause some harm, doubt or unbelief in God's children. He isn't able to be a real lion to blood bought children because God is in us. However, he tries to convince us of his evil power through circumstances. What do you and I do? It is really very simple. We must use the Word of God in our thoughts; our talk and our actions. In doing so we resist the devil because the devil has to recognise God's authority in us and our ability and willingness, to walk in that authority. What will he do? He MUST flee! These thoughts and circumstances of fear, doubt and unbelief, are common to all God's children throughout the world. To be responsible overcomers in Christ, we must be strong in the faith through the armour that God has given to us in His Word.
Never Forsake God's Word
Hebrews chapter 2 verses 1 to 3 informs us how important it is that we pay attention to the things we have heard and learnt. If we don't, we can easily drift away, from the soundness of God's Word. The Lord's Word is always steadfast and true and we must be willing to heed it and apply His Word to our lives on a daily basis. Transgressions and disobedience always receive a just reward. If we neglect God's Word and neglect listening and being obedient to the Holy Spirit. We are on a downward spiral leading to rejection of the gift of salvation if we continue doing so. God's Word was spoken to us by the Lord and then by those apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers who were and are faithful to His Word.
Make Each Day Your Personal Responsibility
Philippians chapter 2 verse 12c tells us that each day it is our personal responsibility, to work out, under the guidance of God's Word and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit, the continuing path of our personal salvation. We can and must be diligent in our application to reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's Word to our daily lives. Always be careful to listen to the Holy Spirit and obey His instructions. We must be diligent in our prayer life and taking communion with the Lord and with other people. Every day our lives must be lived praising the Father Son and Holy Spirit and thanking God for His marvellous provision for us, our families, our church, our government and our country and all who we know. Always let your inner person or spirit determine your attitudes. Don't let the mind dictate your feelings but make your whole being subject to your spirit. Being a responsible Christian is an absolute foundation of a well rounded, mature Christian life.
Repent and Forgive
Ephesians chapter 4 verses 26 and 27 tells us not to sin. We must not lie or be deceitful. We must not lose our temper but be self controlled. We must repent and forgive others and ourselves of any wrong words or actions that we have made that day. In our thoughts, speech or deeds we must not give the devil an opportunity to steal our peace or joy or our health or any of our finances or blind our understanding to reality. We will think only godly thoughts based on God's Word as well as speaking out God's Word as our one truthful foundation. We will do acts of kindness and goodness. In all our goals we must seek to glorify the Father in Jesus name. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
John Macdonald is a minister of the Word of God teaching through podcasts and blogs to an international audience. <![CDATA[You Are Responsible - Part 1]]>Mon, 01 Mar 2021 04:14:47 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-responsible-part-1Picture
: We All Must Be Responsible
Today many young people are being raised in an environment where personal responsibility for their own actions, is no longer a major priority. People very quickly blame members of their own family, their teachers and often their pastors and certainly government leaders for their woes. Each person on planer earth, is responsible, as far as their health and maturity allows, for their own actions. Before God's throne everyone, one day, will be asked; 'What did you do with my Son, Jesus, and His gracious invitation of repentance; forgiveness of sin and eternal life'. All Those who are blood bought children of God should lead the way in demonstrating responsibility for their actions. For Christians, the words responsible and responsibility could well be replaced by obey or obedience. To be truly responsible, you must be truly obedient to God and His Word. Nothing else will bring you victory.
Obedience Is An Important Key To Victory
Obedience to God, enables us to be responsible towards other people. We learn about this from 1 Samuel chapter 15 verses 22 and 23. Samuel told Saul that the Lord had far greater delight in people, obeying Him, rather than all the sacrifices of rams, that the King and the people made. For all of us obedience is far better than sacrifice. The root of disobedience is rebellion. Samuel, speaking from the Lord, regarded the fruit of disobedience, called rebellion, as just as bad as witchcraft. Witchcraft is when the truth becomes twisted to suit our own or often Satan's purposes. Being stubborn cuts people out of God's blessings, for their lives. They become proud and do their own thing and end up being idolatrous or worshipping themselves or their own ideas. Like Saul of old, if people keep rejecting God's will and purposes for their life; then God rejects them. Their destiny then becomes hell and damnation instead of heaven and everlasting life.
It Is Imperative To Obey God
In Acts chapter 4 verses 18 and 19 we read about the Sadducees and Annas the high priest, who were greatly upset that Peter and John had healed a lame man, at the temple; on the Sabbath. These were two uneducated fishermen who by the power of God, in the name of Jesus, had healed this man. They had them locked up and then questioned them. After severely beating them they then commanded them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus. The apostles answered them that they must listen to and obey God rather than men. They had to speak about the mighty things they had seen and heard. So must we obey God and become responsible for telling others about God's gracious provisions, for His people. Those people at that time, then glorified God when they witnessed God's great healing and saving grace.
Put off the Old and Put On the New
Colossians chapter 3 verses 8 to 11 informs us that we are to put off and get rid of all the things, that were part of our former life of unrighteousness. We are not to be people of anger or wrath. We must not have poor thinking followed by bad speech and then by doing malicious deeds as a result. Christians, must not use God's name in vain, nor think upon or speak or be involved in immoral actions. It is essential that we do not lie to one another and certainly not to gain advantage over others. Remember, all deliberate liars, without repentance, go to hell.
Renewed In the Knowledge of God
Colossians chapter 3 verses 10 and 12 to 15 tells us how God desires us to be responsible. First of all we must be willing to put on the new man or person. This person has a regenerated spirit renewed in the knowledge of God according to God and His Word. We have been elected for eternal life by the Father. We are to put on tender mercies. All Christians must have a heart for other people and their needs. Always be kind to other people as much as you are able to do so. No matter what position you have in life, whether considered important or relatively unimportant, by others, it is vital that all of us carry out what is required of us in a meek and not a pompous manner. Those who love the Lord must be humble and meek in God's power and anointing. As a soldier of the Lord, we must be long suffering with other people. At all times we must be willing to bear other people's burdens as the Lord shows us. It is vital to be forgiving; if we ever want to truly love other people. As God's children, we must be responsible to live like Jesus. Every complaint or problem needs to be sorted out before the Lord. God's forgiveness and the Holy Spirit's wisdom, enabled by God's Word, becomes the arbiter and the final solution for whatever problem comes our way. Hallelujah ! Praise the Lord !

<![CDATA[You Are His Temple- part 2]]>Thu, 25 Feb 2021 04:15:36 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/you-are-his-temple-part-2Picture
We Belong to Jesus
Each born again person is God's Property. You and I are to be separate from the world. Important information is contained in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 14 to 18. We are not to be in spiritual agreement with unbelievers and certainly not to marry unbelievers. You are a righteous, blood bought child of God who must never agree with the sinful deeds of unbelievers. There can be no spiritual fellowship between light and darkness. There can be no accord between Christ and His children and between the Devil, called Belial and his demons and those who practise evil. A believer can have no real spiritual part with an unbeliever. There can be no agreement between the temple of God and idols. After all you are the temple of the living God. God indwells us and lives among all those who love the Lord. You and I are God's children. We must be separate and come out from the flesh, the world and the devil. We are not to even touch or have any part with that which is abominable or unclean and is directly against God and His Word. God is our Father through Jesus Christ for eternity. We are His sons and daughters. If you made a mistake, early in life, by marrying an unbeliever, or you turned to the Lord after you were married, always ask the Holy Spirit for His wisdom, how to reach out to an unbelieving partner.
You Are God's Temple
Ephesians chapter 2 verses 19 to 22 tells us that we are no longer strangers or foreigners but we are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. God's Word has been released to us through the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles of the New Testament. Jesus Christ, Himself, is the chief cornerstone from which all of God's Word and His work is founded. This whole building of the Lord, of which we are a part, is being fitted together by the lord as a holy temple for the Lord. All those who are born again are also being built together for a dwelling place of God by the Holy Spirit. Each day, as we spend time praising the lord, praying and speaking in tongues, our temple, as part of God's holy temple, is being built. It is further enhanced and sustained by our reading God's Word, meditating on God's Word and confessing and applying God's Word to all those daily situations that arise in our lives. Above all ,each brick of the church is being put in place, as we diligently obey the Lord and carry out His will and purposes to the honour and glory of the Father in Jesus' name. We constantly believe God and seek to please Him and thereby increase in our walk of faith; overcoming all the obstacles of sight; as we move forward to victory.
Your Temple is Sanctified By the Holy Spirit and the Word
We are sanctified by our mighty God of peace. He is our only complete hope. We read about this in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23. Our whole temple-spirit, soul and body- is to be preserved blameless, until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to make sure our temple, which is indwelt by God, Himself, is kept holy on a daily basis, by the Spirit of God and the Word of God. Those Christians who are not obedient or live a careless life of ease in Zion, will be brought into line by the Lord, so that they escape the tragedy of losing out on eternal life. Listen to your spirit or conscience, as the Holy Spirit provides you with God's holy and determining will and purposes for your life. Always be willing to listen to the Lord and do what you are told to do. It will always save you from jeopardy and even tragedy. Even your very own life and the lives of your family, will be enabled to live peacefully instead of living through endless upsets and defeats. You are a living, vibrant temple of the holy Spirit of God. Live according to God's righteousness and His truth; and freedom will be yours for evermore. Keep daily building and allowing the Lord to cleanse your temple. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

The Christian Temple
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Every born again blood bought Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Each one of us, who truly loves Jesus, is a true temple of God on earth. The physical temple of God in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman general and later emperor Titus, in 70 AD. Ever since Jesus rose from the dead, all His children onwards from Pentecost, have been indwelt by the Holy Spirt. They have become, since their repentance, God's temples on earth. God requires that His temples are to be pure and holy and being used in obedience for His will and purposes.
The Place of God's Sanctuary
In Ezekiel chapter 37 verses 26 to 28 we read that God has made an everlasting covenant of peace with His people. The Lord has established and will continuously greatly increase His people. He has set His sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. He has placed the Holy Spirit in His people and has given them His Word so that they can know God and His ways and be obedient to Him. As God indwells His people He becomes their God and they are His peculiar people. Other people will see that God is with His people when His people obey His commandment of love and live a holy life of godly service.
The Temple Was Destroyed and Then Rebuilt
Jesus made and amazing statement in John chapter 2 verse 19 that if the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed Jesus would raise it up again in three days. The people could not believe the Lord's statement. Herod's Temple had taken forty six years to enlarge and rebuild and how could Jesus rebuild it in three days? The Jews sought a sign from Jesus as to who He was. However, Jesus was not speaking of rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem, but was speaking of His own resurrection and those people who would be resurrected and gain eternal life in His name.
Resurrected Temples of God
According to 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16 to 21 all Christians are to have a wake up call of who they are in Christ. There is no need for any new physical temple in Jerusalem or anywhere else. Those people who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, have already become the temple of God's presence on earth. After all, wherever God dwells, whether in Heaven or upon the Earth, is where the Holy Spirit, dwells or lives. There are millions of God's spiritual temples on earth today. We must be careful dear brothers and sisters, not to defile our holy temple of God. We must repent quickly, if we do so. Don't think filthy thoughts or speak cursing language or use your body to carry out evil deeds nor live sexually immoral or deviant lifestyles. If you keep doing so then God will allow your temple to be destroyed by disease or accident or other blemishes or incidents. If you repent then you are forgiven and your mind, will, emotions or fleshly acts will be cleansed and made whole again by the Blood of the Lord and His Word. Remember, you are the temple of God, in whom dwells the Holy Spirit. Those who think they are wise in themselves need to realise that without a regenerated spirit and a renewed mind, they are but fools. The wisdom of the world, the flesh and the devil is foolishness with God. The thoughts of the world only lead to futility. Let no person boast in others or themselves but only in the wisdom of the Living God. He is manifested through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to the honour and glory of God the Father.
Our Temples Belong To God
We learn in 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 19 and 20 how important the Lord regards the use of our body or the tent we live in. Our very being; spirit soul and body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit talks to and instructs our regenerated or born again inner person or spirit. This is how we receive the wisdom of God and how He desires us to live to the honour and glory of the Father, in Jesus name. As a result, we are no longer our own person, just doing what we desire, but we are to live according to the mind of Christ and His Word, the Bible. We have been bought at great price, out of slavery to the world, the flesh and the devil by the Blood of God Himself, shed on our behalf at Calvary. Always we must seek to glorify God in our spirit and in our soul and body. We are now God's property over which neither ourselves, nor the world and particularly Satan, has any more dominion. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[His Righteousness Alone -part 2]]>Thu, 18 Feb 2021 05:15:14 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/his-righteousness-alone-part-2Picture
Our Gift of Righteousness in Jesus
In Romans chapter 5 verses 17 to 21 we learn that God has given His born again children the gift of righteousness in Jesus. Adam's trespass enabled sin to reign in the lives of all people. Everyone was born in sin. Death reigned from Adam to the time God gave His laws to Moses on Mount Sinai. However, those who receive God's great grace of sins forgiven and forgotten, are enabled to live a life of sinless eternal life for evermore. Those who do so receive the gift of God's righteousness and are able to reign in life through Jesus Christ. One man's sin, Adam's sin, caused condemnation to all people. Nevertheless, one man's righteous act, that was Jesus on the Cross, enabled all people to have the opportunity to live a justified and resurrected life. By one man's disobedience many were made sinners, also by the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and His obedience to the Father, many people were enabled to be made righteous in Him. The law was brought in so that sin could be recognised as sin. However, where sin abounded, the grace of God abounded much more. Sin reigned through eternal death but then grace reigned through righteousness to eternal life in Christ Jesus.
We Become Slaves to Whoever We Obey
Furthermore we read in Romans chapter 6 verses 16 to 19 that whoever we obey we become their slaves. If we sin we follow the downward path of death. If we are obedient, we follow and live in God's righteousness which is full of His forgiveness, love and eternal life. Once we were without doubt slaves of sin following our own ways and walking in the ways of the flesh, the world and the devil. Now that we have been set free from sin, through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, we are now children of Jesus and inheritors of God's righteousness. Our flesh is weak but we must always repent of our sins and forgive others of their sins towards us. We were once those who were in bondage as slaves to filth, violence and degradation. Our behaviour led us deep into acts of unrighteousness. Now we can live a life of daily holiness as we read, meditate upon, confess, and apply God's Word to our lives and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and understanding in all aspects of our lives.
We Overcome in His Righteousness
As we go about our daily life we must not just live in slumber land but remember that we have a day by day battle with Satan and his unrighteousness. However, thank God, we can always overcome his evil plots and deceits by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and by the Word of our testimony which enables us to always be secure in Him. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 34 tells us to always awake to righteousness. When we desire to always walk in God's ways, we will not desire to sin. Unfortunately, many forget at times that they are to live as God's children. Many Christians have limited knowledge of God and His Word. Unbelievers have not had their spirit regenerated and neither know and in most cases, don't even care.
Put Off the Old and Put On the New
Colossians chapter 2 verses 22 to 24 demands that we put off the old person and their old ways. This persona, is directed through the will, the mind and the emotions, is very wicked. It is full of corruption and lies and all kinds of lusts and must be renewed. When we give our life to the Lord then our inner person or spirit, the real you, is regenerated and the Holy Spirit comes to abide in us and we inherit the gift of eternal life. However, we must constantly be renewing our mind or soul and bringing it in line with our regenerated spirit. We must learn to grow in faith and not place our trust in the flesh. This can be accomplished by our spending time with the Lord and His Word. This is how we put on the new person in Christ in true righteousness and holiness. Forget your self righteousness. It is nothing but an unholy mess! Daniel chapter 9 verse 14b informs us that despite Israel's iniquity and lack of obedience, the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that He does.
This is your God and my God, the Lord Jesus Christ. He, alone is the righteous One!
Our Righteousness Is Entirely in Christ.
Our entire righteousness is in Christ alone, who abides constantly through the Holy Spirit in the heart or spirit of every believer. Every day read God's Word and listen attentively to what the Holy Spirit has to tell you. Always be obedient to what the Lord tells you to do. Learn to pray, directly, for your healing and life's solutions to the Father, in Jesus name. Don't be too dependant on other people, although you certainly can learn much from those who are more mature spiritually, than yourself. Learn to intercede for your family and for other people. Remember you are a righteous person complete in His righteousness, alone. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Right Standing Before God
We can, as God's children, reign in life in God's righteousness, alone. There is no other way to have right standing before our loving Father in heaven, other than through the righteousness which is imputed to us through our risen Lord Jesus Christ. Only the righteous will live with God throughout eternity. If you have asked for forgiveness of your sins and have been washed in Christ's Blood you are redeemed and therefore righteous because you now partake of God's righteousness in Christ. Therefore you are able to reign in life in God's righteousness, alone.
We Must Not Be Deceived
Proverbs chapter 10 verse 2 informs us that the treasures of wickedness profit nothing. What are treasures of wickedness? They are ill gotten gains and things obtained by lies and false representations. Many things in life appear to be good but are so often just facades that deceive by imagination and false concepts. Their pathway, if not repented of, lead to eternal spiritual death. However, the righteousness of God, not our own supposed self righteousness, leads to life; eternal life.
God's Work Is Righteous
God's work is honourable and glorious .God's work gives people righteous enjoyment and satisfaction. We read about this in Psalm 113 verse 3. How mighty are the mountains and valleys He has created, as well as the light from the sun and the creation of our natural environments! How much more is His marvellous righteousness in recreating the human spirit to be like God and for that person to be freed from the devils' kingdom of darkness!
Sin Is A Reproach
We are provided with important information when we read Proverbs 14 verse 34. Those nations that enact godly laws and provide help for their citizens have God's righteousness involved in their governments. God's righteousness ,in His recreated Blood bought children, exalts a nation. These are nations where many people know their God. Sin is any nation is a reproach to God and His creation. The more people in a nation who are willing to worship God and be obedient to His Word, the Bible and walk in His ways, the more righteous that nation will be.
God's Power Brings Salvation
Jesus is the only righteous One. We read in Isaiah chapter 59 verses 16 and 17 of God's righteousness. The Lord saw that there was no intercessor for mankind's iniquity. Therefore God's own power and righteousness brought salvation. His own righteousness sustained Him for He alone is righteous . He wore the mighty armour of His own salvation, as a breastplate. His helmet of salvation was upon His head. He then clothed Himself in righteous garments of vengeance, and also clothed Himself with His own zeal. Jesus brought God's righteousness to earth and made it available to all who were willing to obey.
Nebuchadnezzar Was Advised To Be Righteous
In Daniel chapter 4 verse 27 we find that Daniel had interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dream. After the interpretation, Daniel advised the King to break off his sins and seek to be righteous. In particular, he was to show mercy to the poor, in the kingdom of Babylon. If he did so God might show mercy to him by lengthening the period of prosperity in his reign. We also must follow the Lord and show God's love and mercy to the poor and those needing spiritual and material help. As Christians, we must learn to live a righteous life towards all those we meet.
Spiritual Realm Must Dominate the Natural
Although we live in a natural world we are to allow the spiritual realm of the Lord to dominate our thoughts; our words and our actions. Matthew chapter 6 verses 31 to 34 gives us an important insight. We are not to worry about our daily circumstances; what we shall eat or drink or wear. God will provide for all our needs. Non believers spend most of their waking time being concerned with their natural needs. Our heavenly Father knows what we have need of better than we do. What must be the priority of Christians? We are to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and God will supply every need. We are not to worry about today or particularly, the future. Tomorrow will come soon enough for us to be concerned with. Today is all we need to be concerned about. God knows what is best for today and also for tomorrow.

<![CDATA[Set Apart By The Blood -part 2]]>Wed, 10 Feb 2021 02:44:31 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/set-apart-by-the-blood-part-2Picture
Jesus Enabled Man To Be Reconciled to God
Jesus' mighty ministry was one of reconciliation. The Lord came to earth to reconcile all of mankind unto Himself. He has and will reconcile all who have been and are willing to accept His gracious gift of salvation. Colossians chapter 1 verse 29 tells us that all who are forgiven through Him and are reconciled by Him and only by Him; these are things on earth or in heaven. This reconciliation was purchased through His shed Blood on the Cross of Calvary. His reconciliation has brought peace to all who believe.
Jesus Blood Ratified the New Covenant
Hebrews chapter 9 verses 11 to 14 informs us that Christ came as high priest of the better things to come through the New Covenant ratified in His Blood. This new tabernacle of worship was not made with human hands and was therefore not part of the old creation or old covenant. No longer were the blood of goats and calves necessary but Jesus entered the most Holy Place with His own Blood and made a once and for all eternal redemption for all those who accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour. Under the Old Testament the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer was sprinkled over all that was unclean. At that time, this covering was sufficient for purifying the flesh. However, we learn from the Word, how much more shall the Blood of Christ, by way of the Holy Spirit, offered through Christ Himself, without blemish, cleanse your consciousness and thoughts from dead works, to serve the living God. With a regenerated spirit, those who are born again, have been given the ability to cease from their own works and embrace the perfection that is found alone, in Christ, to the honour and glory of the Father.
Love and Forgiveness
As Christians we must live in the light of God's Word daily. This means we walk in love towards other people and particularly those who are our brothers and sisters in the Lord. When we think, say or do wrong things, we are able to repent and be forgiven.
The Blood Restores Fellowship
1 John chapter 1 verse 7 tells us that if we have any form of broken fellowship in our life then the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses all those who seek forgiveness, from all sin. Always repent and forgive quickly so that any iniquity doesn't keep on spoiling your walk of faith with the Lord and fellow believers.
We Are Cleansed By the Blood
How wonderful that the love of Christ is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit! Revelation chapter 1 verse 5 informs us that Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. This happened when He rose triumphantly from the grave and took Satan and his demons captive. He then became the ruler over the kings and rulers of the earth. What is SO important is that Jesus loved us and His precious Blood has cleansed us from all our sins, our guilt and shame, forever and given us His freedom and eternal life.
We Also Have Overcome Satan
Revelation chapter 12 verse 11 proclaims that we, His Blood bought redeemed children, have overcome Satan and his demons and all their deceitful trickery and evil plans. God's children have overcome the flesh, the world and the devil by the Blood of the Lamb, our Lord Jesus and the word of our testimony, of God's goodness through His Word. We are not to love our lives above Jesus and what He has created us to do. If this should mean physical death, so be it. God and His will and purposes must be our chief reason for living both now on earth and will be throughout eternity.
We Are Set Apart Daily, By His Blood
Jesus sanctified and sanctifies right now His chosen people with His own Blood which He shed outside the gate of Jerusalem. Right now, only those who are cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, are set apart for His eternal glory. How important it is every day, that we sanctify and make our allegiance to Jesus sure! Let the Holy Spirit give you your confidence, your instruction and empowering for the new day ahead. As you read, meditate, confess and apply God's Word your faith level rises so that you become victorious over all the circumstances you encounter during your new day. Remember, you are set apart from the world, the flesh and the devil by the shed Blood of your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. for the honour and glory of the Father. It is Christ's Blood alone, that enables you to be righteous and worthy and forgiven before God the Father. Our mission, like Jesus, is to reconcile those we know unto the Lord. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
