Life Is Hard for Unbelievers
Those who do not know Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and Saviour, find, even in their teens, that day to day living can be very difficult and hard. We can learn this important truth from reading Proverbs chapter 13 verse 15. If you don't believe there is a God, who cares about you, then you can find that life is indeed difficult and also have no real meaning for you. Those that believe that there is a God, who cares about them and then give their life to Him, by accepting Jesus Christ, as their own personal Lord and Saviour, find that when they do so that life has great meaning and purpose. They gain favour with God because they learn to listen to Him, through their spirit and progressively begin to know how to handle any life situations that comes their way.
Living by Faith
If we give our life to Jesus Christ and have repented of our sins then our spirit is recreated by the Holy Spirit to become like God's perfect Spirit. Before God we are now made just, which means that our spirit is righteous and in right standing before God. This we read from Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4. People who reject Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour, are proud and they remain sinful, as all unsaved mankind, before God's holy throne, in heaven. God's children who have received Jesus Christ are then born again and are given a new god-like nature. They are then enabled to live by faith, believing God's word, the Holy Bible and then keep learning to please God and are able to live in His amazing blessings.
Don't Be Worried or Anxious
No Christian should live a life full of worry or anxiety. The end product of this life is not faith but unbelief. We are to believe, by faith, in His word, that God will provide and He surely will do so. We read about this very important information from Matthew chapter 6 verses 25 to 34. You are not to be concerned about what you will eat or drink or about the clothes you will wear or even about the place where you will live. God feeds the birds of the air even though they don't sow any seed nor put away food for a rainy day. Remember, you are worth far more than any of God's lower creation. Likewise, don't worry about how long you will live nor about any other need at all. Most importantly don't be perpetually unsure about His provision for your further needs. Those that don't know God as their heavenly Father, are always continuously worried about almost everything, in their life. What we must do is seek first the kingdom of God which is His kingdom of righteousness, joy and peace. Every day can be full of earthly woes but you are only to be concerned for your life needs, for today. Always keep on living one day at a time!
Such Great Faith
We learn about the great faith of a Roman centurion from Matthew chapter 8 verses 5 to 10 and verse 13. This man came to Jesus, on behalf of His servant, who was paralysed with tormenting pain. Jesus told the centurion that He would come and heal his servant. The centurion told Jesus that he was too unworthy to have Jesus come to his home. His faith then compelled him to say to Jesus, to just say the word of healing and his servant would be healed. This centurion was a soldier of rank commanding a unit of one hundred men. When he wanted them to go and they went or to come and they would come. To his slave he said do it and he did it. Jesus was amazed at the man's faith in him. Jesus had not found such great faith, among anyone else, in the whole of Israel. Jesus then told the centurion that his faith was now fulfilled and when he got home he found his servant had been healed in that very same hour.
They Didn't Believe
We read about an amazing story of lack of belief from Matthew chapter 13 verses 54 to 58. Jesus came to His home town of Nazareth and preached in their synagogue. These same people of Nazareth, had heard about His amazing authority and power and the miracles of healing that he had performed. However, they also commented that they had previously known His mother, Mary as well as His natural brothers and sisters. Unfortunately, they belittled who He was by not regarding Him as a prophet and certainly not as the Messiah but only as a carpenter's son! These people knew He possessed great wisdom and power but they became offended by thinking about His former lowly status. Jesus replied to their comments that a prophet has honour elsewhere but not among his own town and and his own family. The result of this attitude was that they did not believe in Him and Jesus in Nazareth could not perform any mighty miracles there but only healed a few sick people of minor complaints. Such was the power of unbelief in the eyes of those in Nazareth and can be so in many other places, in the world, today!
The Importance of Believing
Jesus taught Thomas, the apostle, often referred to as the Doubter, how important it is to believe. This we learn from John chapter 20 verses 26 to 29. Jesus came to the house where the disciples were gathered together and Thomas was with them. Thomas had not seen Jesus earlier and had not believed when the other apostles told them they had seen Jesus and that He was risen from the dead. Jesus now invited Thomas to put his finger into the Lord's pierced side. Thomas then said to Jesus: “My Lord and my God!” Thomas saw and felt the Lord's wounds before he was willing to believe in Jesus' resurrection. Jesus replied to Thomas and to all those who have not seen but have believed, over the past two thousand years, that they are truly blessed because of their belief!
Do God's Will- Not Your Own
In Romans chapter 10 verse 3 we read about mankind's deliberate disobedience to carry out God's will and purposes for them. People have tried to establish their own righteousness by performing what they call their own good works. They were aware of God's righteousness but tried to establish their own righteousness in accord to their own, often, evil desires. God's righteousness can only be established through the revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible and being obedient, through faith and doing God's righteous works as the Holy Spirit leads them.
Pay Attention to God's Word
In Romans chapter 10 verse 16 we read that we must pay attention to God's salvation of repentance and acceptance that can only be found in His word and His purposes. This is the only way that we can be saved and inherit His eternal life. Many people do not receive and believe His word, for their own salvation. Isaiah prophesied this damning report, of God's people, over seven hundred years before Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died, was buried and rose again to save all of mankind who believed in Jesus' sacrifice. These are those whom God granted eternal redemption! Always believe God's word and your faith will enable you to inherit salvation and eternal life, through Jesus Christ, alone! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:
I am a child of God. I am a believer and not a doubter. I live by faith each day, obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge of God's word. I am cleansed and washed by the blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, by Jesus Christ and the water of God's word. I have repented and am forgiven of all my sins and I have inherited eternal life. Praise the name of the Lord, forevermore!”

The Promise of Our Spiritual Helper
The role of the Holy Spirit, as our Helper, was promised to God's children by His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, in John chapter 14 verses 16 and 17. The Lord asked His Father to send the Holy Spirit also known as the Paraclete, to help His children, living on earth. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, had the divine attributes of being mankind's Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener and Standby, forever. Every non believer no matter their religious background, do not know the Holy Spirit, because only born again children of God, can know the work of the Holy Spirit. All non believers do not understand and therefore cannot receive help from the Holy Spirit. However, the Holy Spirit remains active in the lives of all who believe in His mighty power and works.
Gifts and Manifestations of the Holy Spirit
Diligent believers read about the various gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit, given to God's born again people. These gifts are given as the Holy Spirit wills. We are informed about these wonderful administrations in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 4 to 11. These gifts or special abilities of God's grace and the extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit, operate in believers and empower them for God's work. It is God, alone, who gives these gifts to born again Christians. There are those Christians who speak a word of wisdom giving forth an understanding of God's wisdom in a specific situation and there are those who are gifted with the word of knowledge, who foretell the specific details and His desires in a specific situation. Another born again person is given a special gift of faith to believe for miraculous happenings, often in the realm of healing, which is often aligned with the gift of miracles whereby amazing circumstances, occur. There are also those who speak out of the need for change or even foretell future events about to happen. Importantly, there is the gift of discerning of spirits, which is the ability to know the truth of sound biblical teaching as distinct from man-made deceptive beliefs. Finally, there is the most prevalent gift, among believers, of speaking in heavenly or unknown tongues and this can often be accompanied by the gift of the interpretation of heavenly or unknown tongues, in their local language. This is important for the edification of the church. All these gifts are given to believers to profit themselves and other Christians and are distributed to each individual Christian, as determined by the Holy Spirit.
Apostasy of the Church
In 1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 1 and 2 we learn about the latter modern day apostasy of the church. Many who once lived like Christians, in many Christian churches, will turn away from the faith that was taught to them, from God's word, the Holy Bible. Satan and his seductive demonic spirits will turn people away from the knowledge of God's truth. They will start to believe the hypocritical words of liars who teach the doctrines of devils. These people will succumb to seared consciences and will be seared with the branding iron of Satan's lies and half truths. These false pastors will teach according to the world's fallen religious system. Believers who once knew the truth will no longer be capable of correct spiritual or proper ethical understanding.
God's Grace Resists the Proud
We learn from James chapter 4 verses 5 and 6 that the unrecreated human spirit lusts with envy. Without the human spirit, being recreated like God, by the Holy Spirit, it constantly wants more of self and the things of the world and is never satisfied. In a nutshell, because the old spirit of mankind does not respond to nor can obey God, it is never fulfilled. God's children however, keep on receiving more of God's great grace, through the Holy Spirit and God's word. God's children are enabled to defy the power of sin and therefore live an obedient life, through faith in God and His word, the Holy Bible. God resists all the plans and desires of the proud and haughty. So much so that what they plan to do never comes to full fruition. All who give their lives to the Lord become humble realising that they are completely insufficient in themselves – these are the saved ones who turn away from their own self – righteousness.
Listen to the Holy Spirit
Everyone, who is willing to listen to and obey the Holy Spirit, will receive God's righteous blessings and rewards. We learn how important it is to listen to the Holy Spirit from Revelation chapter 2 verse 7. If we are truly willing to listen to and heed or obey the voice of the Holy Spirit, we will be overcomers. Not only was the Holy Spirit talking to the seven churches in the Roman province of Asia, but also to all church leaders and the individual members of the body of Christ, in those churches, of old and also to those Christians throughout the past twenty centuries. He is speaking to those who hear and obey His voice, this very day! Those who belong to the true body of Christ, His church, will be given the privilege of eating the fruit of the tree, which is in the Paradise of God. They are the real partakers of His eternal life and His eternal blessings! Keep on listening and heeding His will and purposes for your own life: This is your eternal life, forevermore!

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Corrupt Mankind Rejects God
From Genesis chapter 6 verse 3 we read the corruption of mankind and their disobedience had already caused people to walk in their own way instead of accepting God's ways. The Holy Spirit would no longer strive and remain with man's spirit forever. Every soul and body of mankind was now given over to all types of evil, sensual and demonic appetites. This destruction occurred because of people's own wilful behaviour. It was and already is being carried out by Satan and his demonic hordes and the wilful compliance of man's deliberate disobedience. Instead of being able to live forever, mankind's lifespan was now limited to 120 years.
The Lord Contacts Our Spirit
Man's inner person, his spirit, with the voice of his conscience, is the only part of man's being that is able to be contacted, by the Holy Spirit. This we learn from Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27. Our spirit acts like a lamp, revealing who God is, to our soul – our mind, will and emotions. Not only does the Holy Spirit reveal to our spirit, God's plans and purposes for our life, but God also examines and reveals, to our spirit, how to live and bring about His will in our own life. He also shows us what and how to do that which is required and also what not to do and what changes are to be made in our life. When we finally obey the directions of the Holy Spirit we will not go astray. When we do not obey and then go and do the opposite disastrous consequences can occur in our life.
Our Spirit Can Be Strong – But Our Flesh?
Always we must be willing to follow the Holy Spirit's directions if we are going to live a victorious, Christian life. It is so important to follow God's advice found in Mark chapter 14 verse 38. Keep on actively watching and praying so that you know you are carrying out God's will and purposes for your life. Resist every temptation that Satan and his demons, your own flesh and the world around you, try to bring to bear upon your godly standards of living. Your spirit was recreated, by the Holy Spirit, when you first acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and you repented of your sins and your spirit became a new creation, in the likeness of God. Your spirit then desired to do what the word of God, the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit, directed you to do. However, your flesh can be woefully weak, by comparison and you must consistently keep renewing your whole being. By daily learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all your situations and circumstances, this will happen.
God Is a Spirit
John chapter 4 verse 24 decidedly informs us that our God the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit – the perfect Holy Trinity – is the Spirit Being, the source of all life. The Trinity is invisible to mankind with the exception when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, in fleshly form and lived, then died, then rose again, for the sins of mankind, almost 2,000 years ago. He then ascended back to His Father, in heaven, then resumed His full Godly status in glory. Everyone who worships Jesus Christ, as their own risen Lord and Saviour, must worship through their recreated spirit. This enables the born again person to understand and live in God's truth, forever, as His born again child.
The Spirit Gives Life
We read about the absolute importance of eternal life from John chapter 6 verse 63. The Holy Spirit gives our spirit the likeness of God's eternal life. Our flesh – our soul and body – are constantly at war against our spirit. Only the word of God, that which was also spoken by Jesus Christ and is revealed in the New Testament, by the Holy Spirit can give eternal life to our spirit. Man's ideas and words by themselves, are absolutely useless in giving eternal life, to our eternal being.
Be Led by the Holy Spirit
Every person who has acknowledged Jesus Christ, as the Son of God and have repented of their sins, are then baptised, by the Holy Spirit, as a believer, into the body of Christ. They have then become a child of God. This we learn from reading Romans chapter 8 verses 14 to 16. Every Christian must allow the Holy Spirit to lead them so that they will know God's truth, for their own lives. We no longer have a spirit of slavery nor do we remain in Satan's kingdom of darkness. We have been recreated by the Holy Spirit and have been adopted as one of God's children. This allows us to be full of joy and call our Father, by the Aramaic name of Abba, meaning our Father. The Holy Spirit affirms, with our spirit, that we are now a true child of God. Always keep on receiving God's truth from the Holy Bible and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit to your own inner person or spirit and then you won't live in error and deception! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Jesus Eats with Sinners
We read about Jesus eating with sinners from Mark chapter 2 verses 16 and 17. The Pharisees, the Jewish religious leaders, found that Jesus did not hesitate to eat with the sinners of ancient Israel. These leaders regarded anyone who did not observe their false understanding, of the Mosaic laws, as well as all tax collectors, were very much evil sinners. Why does Jesus eat and drink with those who do not pay attention to God's laws they queried? Jesus replied that only those who regarded themselves as sinners, needed a doctor or healer, to make them well again. Self righteous people had no need, they believed, to seek godly help. Furthermore Jesus then told the Pharisees, as He tells everyone today, through His word, the Holy Bible, that He did not come to save all those who already regarded themselves as good enough. Rather, He came down to earth for those who recognised that they were sinners and sought after someone to save them. Jesus, alone, is the eternal Saviour of all who are willing to believe in Him!
The Self Righteous Miss Out!
Jesus did not come to call or to save those who proclaimed that they were self righteous; that did not regard themselves as sinners and therefore had no need to repent. This we read about in Luke chapter 5 verses 23 to 26. Jesus came to save those who knew they needed a Saviour. These are those people who were willing to acknowledge and also repent of their sins. These were the ones who realised their lifestyle as decadent and disgraceful and were willing to change. These people were willing to think and do things, pertaining to God's righteousness. They were also willing to receive God's word and to listen to the Holy Spirit and were willing to change and follow in God's ways.
Heaven Rejoices Over the Saved
We learn about the wonderful rejoicing, in heaven, of the one lost sheep that was saved. We read about this in Luke chapter 15 verses 1 to 7. The tax collectors for the Roman Empire and the despised non observant Jews were coming to listen to and receive Jesus' message of repentance from sin. The Pharisees, the religious leaders of old Israel, were complaining about these people. They considered themselves to be righteous enough and didn't need the Lord's gift of saving grace. Jesus told His listeners, in the parable, about the shepherd who had one hundred sheep and then one of them became lost. He then left the saved ninety nine and then went to find the one that was lost. When He found the lost one He took it back to the fold, rejoicing. Then he gathered His friends and neighbours together and they all rejoiced over the lost one that had now been found. Jesus told His listeners that there was more rejoicing in heaven, over the one lost sheep, than over the ninety nine who were already saved!
The Converted Jailer
Paul and Silas had been put in chains and in stocks, in jail. At about midnight they began praising the Lord. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake and all the prison doors were opened and the prisoners' chains, fell off. This was no ordinary earthquake but rather a miracle intervention of God. The jailer thought that the prisoners had escaped and as a result, he was about to take his own life. Paul stopped him from doing so. The jailer then came and fell down before Paul and asked him what he needed to do to be saved. This we read from Acts chapter 16 verses 23 to 31. Paul told the jailer to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and he would be saved. The jailer then washed Paul and Silas's wounds and both the jailer and his family accepted Jesus Christ and were then baptised into the body of Christ and became God's children.
Christ Died to Save Sinners
How wonderful is God's love to all of mankind! This we read about in Romans 5 verses 8 and 9. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, died on the Cross to save sinners from eternal damnation, in hell. This happened to all those who were in a fallen, sinful state, so great was the great redeeming love and grace for fallen mankind! We all, who believe, were made alive in Him, through His shed blood on Calvary's Cross and redeemed, to become His children, for all eternity.
Saved by His Grace
We read about God's amazing gift of grace, to all of mankind, in Ephesians chapter 2 verses 7 to 9. His riches towards us, are made known through His immeasurable kindness and our redemption in Jesus Christ. This grace is God's unsurpassed favour and kindness. For our sins we deserved to go forever, to hell but all those who willingly believe His word are saved from His final judgement and right now have been given eternal life. These are those who truly repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour. These are the ones, who walk life's pathway, through faith, in the Lord and His word, the Holy Bible. Born again Christians realise that it is not just of their own doing but it is because of the undeserved gracious gift of God's grace. It is not a result of their own works.
Jesus Only Saves Sinners
We learn that Christians can only be saved, by faith, in Jesus Christ: This is according to 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 15. God's faithfulness to sinners, is revealed in one amazing statement. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners; not those who are self righteous. Paul, the great missionary apostle, counted himself as the foremost of sinners. We must truly also regard ourselves as being amongst the greatest of sinners. All who truly know that they are sinners, will always be saved, when they repent of their sins and truly mean it!

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[No More Curse - Blog 414- August10th 2026]]>Mon, 10 Aug 2026 03:12:53 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/no-more-curse-blog-414-august10th-2026Picture
What Is the Curse?
We read in Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 15 that if Israel, God's chosen people of old, did not listen to and obey the requirements of God's laws, given to Moses, that they then would become a cursed people. All their daily activities, no matter there earthly location, would be cursed. To be cursed means that an individual person, a group of people or a nation, would no longer be blessed by God but rather their efforts would be allowed to become failures and disasters. This was because Satan and his kingdom of darkness would prevail over their lives and their families instead of God's great blessings of compassion and righteousness.
Crime Was Punished by Hanging or by Crucifixion
The ancient Roman Empire punished very evil behaviour, usually against the state, by crucifixion. We learn from Deuteronomy chapter 21 verses 22 and 23 that God had commanded His people that had committed sins, usually against God's laws, they would become liable to death by hanging. This was carried out by the method of hanging the miscreant, from a tree, as a public example. However, before night time arrived, they were compelled to take the body down on the same day. They would not leave the body hanging on the tree for this would allow Satan to curse the land and the people's inheritance.
The Role of the Messiah and His People
Every born again Christian has an amazing spiritual mission, in their lifetime. This mission was prophesied by Isaiah the prophet, who lived in ancient Israel, more than 700 years before Jesus Christ, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem. He was born the true Messiah for all people and was miraculously born through God, of Mary's womb, in Bethlehem. We read about this wonderful message from Isaiah chapter 61 verses 1 and 2. The Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus Christ and was upon the spirit of every person, whose inner person or spirit, is recreated, from above, by the Holy Spirit. Jesus and all His true followers are anointed to preach the good news of salvation, to all who were poor in spirit. This was to all who would willingly believe God's word and repent of their sins. Jesus and His followers were to announce release – pardon and forgiveness – to all who were trapped in Satan's kingdom of darkness. These people would receive release from spiritual blindness and would be enabled to understand the truth of God's word, the Holy Bible. Everyone who was or is oppressed – downtrodden and crushed – by the results of Satan's deceits, in their lives, would be set free. They would know and accept the favourable time of God's salvation, for them and other people. How much more greater release has been made available to all people over the past 150 years, through mechanical and electronic devices.
Christ Has Redeemed Us!
We read and learn about God's marvellous redemption for everyone, anywhere, from Galatians chapter 3 verses 12 to 14. The law of Moses no longer applies to anyone, particularly born again Christians since Jesus rose from the dead. All those who were willing to believe also received His marvellous gift for their own salvation. The law told people where they were wrong but it never had the power to save them from sin. Our salvation relies, alone, upon Jesus and His shed blood and his death, burial and resurrection upon the Cross, at Calvary! Rather, the Lord Jesus Christ purchased our complete salvation including redemption through His healing of our soul and body. We are redeemed from the curse of the law and its condemnation of mankind. Jesus Christ took the curse of the law, upon Himself. He became cursed for us when He was crucified on the hill, at Calvary/Golgotha. Furthermore , the spiritual and material blessings became the prized possession of all those who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ and become God's chosen children, for all eternity!
Our Shepherd's Blessings
The mighty and marvellous blessings of Jesus Christ, the Great Shepherd, for all those who are in the born again church of God are outlined for us to read and accept in that marvellous passage of scripture, Psalm 23. Because Jesus is our own shepherd He will always provide for our needs, the things that are so important for our daily living. We will never want if we willingly allow our Good Shepherd to provide us with all that we need. The Lord allows us to rest in pleasant places and be at peace in quiet and refreshing circumstances. Our souls are restored, in Him and He leads us in His righteous ways for He is our Holy God. There are times when we walk through a sunless valley where there is a shadow of the world's death, through poverty and sickness, all around us. However, we are guaranteed, as he leads us, that we will fear no evil. He walks with us and His rod protects us and His staff guides and comforts us. Our Shepherd prepares His mighty table of plenty despite being surrounded by Satan and his demons and the evil activities of this world. We can enjoy His life, in us, in the very presence of our enemies. We are anointed with the oil of the Holy Spirit and the revelation knowledge that comes from the Holy Bible. God's blessings keep flowing over us. in abundance. Because of the mercy of the Lord His goodness and unfailing love and compassion shall follow us all the days of our life. We will dwell in His presence, forever and enjoy eternal life!
You Have God's Freedom Now
Every born again Christian has been and is now released from the curse according to Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. You as one of God's children, are truly free from the power of sin and Satan's deception for evermore! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Your Spirit Is Alive
We thankfully read that our spirit, has been made alive. It has been recreated by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God. We are informed about this from Romans chapter 8 verses 10 and 11. Sin still has access to your flesh – your soul, your mind your will and your emotions, as well as your body. However, your spirit or your inner person, the real you, is no longer bound by sin. Our spirit is truly alive because of His righteousness, living in us. The Holy Spirit has raised our spirit from the dead, when our spirit was raised, together, with the Lord. Our mortal being could now know life in resurrection power because of God's Spirit who now lives, in us.
The Flesh Dies
Our flesh consisting of our soul and our body – our outer garment or body – dies a natural death and when we are resurrected, in our heavenly state, in the future, we then receive our new, resurrected eternal body. We read about the death of our old nature, our former spirit, from Romans chapter 8 verses 12 and 13. We are responsible for killing off our soulish impulses and desires which can keep operating in our soul and in our body. Reason must not keep ruling our soul nor our feelings keep our body or tent, captive. This is the part of our being where Satan, the world around us and our own flesh, try constantly to keep us as slaves of unrighteousness. If we keep on living and obeying the deceptive impulses of the soul and the body we will eternally perish, in hell.
Living Forever
Born again Christians must continually be willing to put to death the lusts of the flesh; that is their soul and body, their old way of living. According to Romans chapter 8 verse 13 we must make it our constant way of living if we are truly going to live in eternity. How we live in our thoughts, our speech and our actions, really matters. We must make a real spiritual effort to live according to God's word, the Holy Bible, otherwise we will live a lower level of Christian endeavour. Those born again believers who make a quality decision, to learn the word, regularly and to read the word, confess, meditate upon and apply God's word, to all their own personal circumstances, will obtain victory over their own flesh, the world around them as well as the devil and his demonic cohorts.
Let the Holy Spirit Lead You
According to Romans chapter 8 verses 14 to 16 it is imperative that born again children of God are led by the Holy Spirit. There is no other way that you can have victory, in your life! No longer do we live in Satan's kingdom of darkness, deceit and fear. His children have now become adopted into God's kingdom of light. God's children are no longer fearful of death and his wrath and judgement but live as His sons and daughters full of His righteousness, joy and peace. He is now their own “Abba” or Father. The Holy Spirit confirms our new status and our own inner person or spirit assures us, that we are indeed, children of God.
True Heirs of God
All true believers are the true inheritors of God's righteousness, peace, joy and of His eternal life! We are all fellow heirs with Jesus Christ, sharing in His everlasting inheritance and in His eternal blessings. This we read from Romans chapter 8 verse 17. While we live on earth we will face times of suffering and tribulation but at the same time, we are also partakers of His eternal glory. However, the sufferings of this present life are not to be compared with the glory that we can, in part, in our experience, now, nor with abounding glory of eternal life, in Him. We can have a glimpse revealed, to us, by the Holy Spirit, to our own spirit, even while on earth.
Feed Your Body God's Word
Often we feel there is a great disconnect between our body as compared with our spirit person! This is very often the case but this need not continue as so. Romans chapter 12 verse 1 tells us how to. Through God's great mercy towards us we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice which is our logical and intelligent act of worship. Remember, our bodies are no longer our own but belong to God. We are to confess God's word for healing and physical maintenance over every part of our body. God has sent us His word, the Holy Bible, to deliver and heal our body.
Heal Your Soul
Our soul consists of our mind, will and emotions. We are informed how to spiritually heal our soul in Romans chapter 12 verse 2. Don' t be conformed to this world, in your lifestyle. Abhor – that means don't listen to immoral jokes or gossip. Don't watch violent or immoral movies; full stop. Don't associate with so called friends or associates that talk nonsense or are involved in deceitful practices or deny the reality of God and His creation. Choose your friends, carefully and wisely. Too much contact with worldly practices and ideas can undermine your faith and lead you into troubled waters, even disasters. Christians must be progressively changed from glory to glory. This can only happen through the power of God working consistently through the voice of the Holy Spirit and by revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible. Our minds need a complete renewal from the old nature we inherited from Satan's world of darkness. We are to learn and practise godly values and think clearly with ethical attitudes. Constantly we are learning to carry out and prove God's perfect will for our life. This is His plan and purpose for each of us.
You Are Tripartite
Always remember you are a tripartite being – spirit, soul and body. We read about this vital information from 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23. Only your spirit has been recreated, in the likeness of God, while you live on planet earth. It is truly your own responsibility to keep on encouraging and endowing your soul and body with consistent daily use of learning and reading God's word and listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit's instructions. You must keep working on it, everyday. Diligent Christians will always be victorious through Christ! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Fear of the Lord-Blog 412-July 27th 2026]]>Mon, 27 Jul 2026 02:56:19 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-fear-of-the-lord-blog-412-july-27th-2026Picture

Honouring God
Psalm 19 verse 9 informs us that those who love the Lord will fear Him, forever. What does this really mean? It means that because we are willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and obey God's instructions, we will exhort and worship the Lord without ending and forever. We will also live in His holy presence, forever. Christians must be thankful to Him for His goodness and we know it will last throughout eternity. Why? It is because the Lord's plans and purposes have now become the centre point and goal of our own lives. No more will we just do our own thing, nor will we worship or follow the pagan ways of our own flesh, the foolish world around us and the deceitful plots of the devil.
My Great Protection
Our pathway is sure because we constantly live in the light of His word and our own salvation. This we read from Psalm 27 verse 1. Those who fear God have no fear of circumstances, other people or the situations in the world around them. Why not? Because we are constantly learning, reading and meditating upon God's word, contained in the Holy Bible. Not only that but we practically confess and apply God's word to our lifestyle and situations and listen and obey the directions that the Holy Spirit gives to our own spirit. Our lifestyle is in God's hands and He is our refuge and fortress. We know our life is secure in Christ and rather than dreading other people and situations, the devil and his demons and their evil. However, people are very much afraid of God's mighty power, in us.
Wise People Fear God
How important to learn how to become wise! This we learn from Psalm 111 verse 10. The prerequisite for all sound godly wisdom is to have a reverent fear of the Lord. The wisdom of God can only come through obedience to His word, the Holy Bible as well as consistently being willing to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Thereby, we must carry out His directions for our life. If we willingly do so we will not pay any attention to the things of the flesh, the world and the devil. We will have a wonderful understanding of all things which pertain to godliness and righteousness. Those who do so will be people who have a teachable spirit and soul. These people are God's children who are learning to become like God and His ways because they have a great respect and honour for the Lord.
Get Your Prayers Heard
God's people, who are born again believers, speak with reverential fear to God and treat other believers with loving kindness. This we read from Malachi chapter 3 verse 16. The Lord pays attention to the prayers of His children. He has a book of remembrance written, before Him, for all who fear the Lord and honour His holy name. These are those who esteem His wonderful works upon earth and His mighty works in their own lives and upon other people, as well as their observations of creation and the heavens above. The Lord answers the prayers of all His children who diligently obey Him and seek to honour His name and His works and give Him the complete glory.
Only Fear God
Only fear God and you will not be, nor remain, fearful in all your life situations. We read this important direction from Luke chapter 12 verses 4 and 5. Do not fear those who can kill the body. However, you are to be truly afraid of Almighty God, who after He has killed, has authority to cast you into eternal damnation, in hell. Jesus Christ is the only way for forgiveness of your sins and eternal life!
His Fear Brings Great Peace
The true reverential fear of the Lord to the heart of the believer brings great peace, to the heart of the believer. What a paradox ;but how true it is! This statement is confirmed, to our spirits, when we read Acts chapter 9 verse 31. The early church, in Galilee and Samaria, enjoyed great peace, for they were being built up in wisdom, virtue and peace. They now practised living daily in the fear of the Lord. The church of believers, experienced comfort and encouragement through the Holy Spirit. As a result of God's fear there was great peace and freedom in their lives. Many people were added to the church and they also had remarkable freedom from persecution.
No Fear of Authority
God, as the only Creator of the world and all that is in it, has complete authority over every situation that man allows Him to have, in his own life. For the present and shortly into the future, we learn from 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 4 that Satan, also known as the devil, is the current ruler of this world and over all who will not obey God and His word, the Holy Bible. For we learn that Satan only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Those who fear God, our Lord and give Him the glory,( the honour and respect due to Him) are also able to give respect to presidents and rulers of the land; state governments; the boss at work; the police force; their school teachers and most importantly, their own parents. This is because of the authority that God has given. They also learn to respect older folk. for their performance in life. Always give honour to others but never be fearful!
No Fear In Christ
God never gives His obedient children a spirit of fear, timidity or cowardice. Fear, apart from honouring and obeying God, only comes from Satan. The Holy Spirit has given His children a spirit of power, of love and a sound mind. This we read from 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. We are enabled to live disciplined lives and to be calm and loving and have a well balanced mind, full of self control. Never be fearful but always be seeking to honour the Lord and His word, the Holy Bible. Keep on obeying the directions of the Holy Spirit for your own life circumstances! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Greatest Miracle - Blog 411 - July 20th 2026]]>Mon, 20 Jul 2026 03:24:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-greatest-miracle-blog-411-july-20th-2026Picture
Creation of Mankind
People learn about the greatest miracle, performed by God, when reading Genesis chapter 1 verse 27, from the very first chapter of God's word, the Holy Bible. In order to have a family, like Himself, God created man in His own image or likeness. Both male and female were created in His likeness. Man was created first of the dust of the earth and God called the first man, Adam. Later woman was created from one of his ribs and she was called Eve and she was the first mother of every human being. Eve was also created so that man could have an earthly companion. We read that she became the mother of Cain and Abel, the first babies.
The Fall of Mankind
Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, located in what is now regarded as southern Iraq. They soon became acquainted with Satan, the devil, who was the deceiver of all who are not born again believers. Satan was the fallen archangel who hated God and lied to both Adam and Eve. God had told Adam and Eve that they could eat the fruit of the trees of the Garden of Eden but they were commanded not to eat from the tree in the middle of the Garden. This was the tree of good and evil. If they did so they would die. This we read from Genesis chapter 3 verse 3. Eve was deceived by Satan but Adam disobeyed God by listening to Satan and therefore they ate of the tree. Satan told them that they would now be like God knowing both good and evil. He continued his lie by saying they would not die. Eve was beguiled by Satan and ate the fruit. Adam also ate of the fruit but in so doing he knew he was disobeying God. As a result, of their disobedience, the fall of man's innocent nature occurred and they lost their God like image which had become corrupted.
Mankind Worships the Creature
Over the past six thousand years man has been under the bondage, of Satan's rule, living in the Kingdom of Darkness. Most people now worship and praise themselves or many objects of God's creation. This we learn from Romans chapter 1 verse 25. Most of mankind has chosen to exchange the truth of the worship of God for Satan's lies and slavery. Most now worship creation rather than the Creator. They wilfully serve themselves and the creation around them, rather than God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the blessed Trinity. Most people carry out and live deceitful lives because their nature or inner being is sinful; until it is recreated by the Holy Spirit. This happens when they repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. When they do so they then become God's true children, forevermore!
Christians Are New Creations
How wonderful to know that all born again Christians are new creations! This we learn from 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17. When we become born again we are grafted into Christ's body, the true church, as His child. We have become new creatures, reborn from above, by the Holy Spirit. Our old evil lifestyle, with its deceits and passions, has passed away and we have become new creations, able to live, forever with God, in heaven. Our spirit is completely recreated and our desires and understanding have become new and is just like God, Himself. True Christians no longer lust after the things of the world but worship and seek to obey God's will and purposes in their lives.
We Must Live As New Creations
Becoming a new creation is an absolute necessity for a person who has inherited eternal life. There is no other way to get to heaven and become a true child of God. This we learn by reading Galatians chapter 6 verse 15. Circumcision was very important to the Jews, living under the Old Testament law of Moses. However, circumcision was not at all required under the perfect law of Jesus Christ. It is no longer required that people are circumcised physically, but rather Christian circumcision is a circumcision of our heart, our spirit being: We are recreated, by the Holy Spirit. Those who are children of God, have undergone a spiritual transformation. They are forever, new creations in Christ, with a completely renewed spiritual nature and way of life.
God's New Creation Is Heavenly
Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 informs us that we are now God's recreated work, as a new creation, in Christ. His children are a master work of God's craftsmanship. They are reborn from above as spirit recreations in Christ Jesus. Christians are prepared to carry out God's good works enabled by the Holy Spirit and by the word of God. These mighty works have been prepared beforehand that they should walk in them. In doing so they live out God's good life in them and walk in the pathways He has prearranged for them. His children are now able to do His good will and His purposes for their life.
Put Off the Old and Put On the New Nature.
We are now born again recreated persons according to Ephesians chapter 4 verses 22 to 24. We are to renew our old sinful soul and our body by studying, learning, confessing and applying God's word to our life. This we read from Romans chapter 12 verses 1 and 2. Children of God are to put off their old sinful, natural way of life and renew their soul and body with the word of God, the Holy Bible. They must disregard their former nature, that was controlled by their own flesh, the world around them and by Satan's evil practices. Christians are no longer to live according to the corruption and deceit of their old former nature. They are to be continually renewed and empowered by the word of God following the directions of the Holy Spirit. Keep on being full of God's ways and endeavour to live an untarnished spiritual, mental and physical lifestyle. Always put on the new self, recreated, in Christ's image. Live in His righteous and holy life. Show the Lord that you are eternally grateful, through praise and worship, for His gift of sins forgiven and being able to live in His eternal light. Hallelujah! Praise the lord!

The Promise of the Holy Spirit
We read and learn of God's wonderful promise of the empowerment by the Holy Spirit, in our life, from both Luke chapter 24 verse 49 and John chapter 14 verse 26. The apostles of Jesus were to remain in Jerusalem until they were fully equipped with the Holy Spirit's power from heaven. Their Helper, the Holy Spirit, would be their Comforter, Counsellor, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener and Standby. The Father would send the Holy Spirit, as Christ's representative and He would act on the Lord's behalf. He would teach every Christian everything they needed to know as long as they were willing to allow Him to do so. He would also bring everything to their remembrance.
The Promise of the Resurrection
In John chapter 11 verses 23 to 27 Jesus informed Martha that her brother, Lazarus, would rise from the dead. Martha replied that she already knew he would rise to resurrection life when the resurrection on the Last Day, took place. Jesus replied to her that He, Jesus, was the only true resurrection and life. Everyone who trusted in Jesus would be able to live in the Lord's resurrection power, even though they ceased to live, in their natural body, on earth. In reality, their spirit, their real person, would truly live forever. Martha then believed that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, was the true Messiah, the Son of God. He was the anointed One that all His born again children, had waited for.
The Promise Becomes the Reality
Fifty days after Christ's resurrection and then His ascension, from the Mount of Olives, back to His Father, in heaven, the glorious promise became a reality, for all born again Christians. We read about the reality, the Day of Pentecost, from Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 8. Suddenly, from the heaven above, came the sound of the rushing mighty wind of the Holy Spirit. Then tongues like fire came upon all those present and the Holy Spirit gave them the power to speak in various known languages. Everyone present heard others speaking in the language of the native tongue of those present at the gathering. All were amazed at the marvellous event from God.
The Power of the Holy Spirit
Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit receive God's anointing or power to be able to carry out God's will and purposes, for their own life. Those that are filled will be able, not only to desire to be God's witnesses where they live but to also do so in any situation and in any place, He tells them to go. This we read from Acts chapter 1 verse 8. Always seek to remain anointed by getting a new infill of the Holy Spirit, everyday, so that you are well able to carry out His plans and purposes, in His way. Don't fall for Satan's schemes and try to carry out God's almighty plans, in your own puny strength!
Free from the Power of Sin
Every Christian, because of Christ's sacrifice, on the Cross, at Calvary, is now free, not only from the power of sin but also from their old sin nature. This we read from Romans chapter 6 verses 5 to 9. We have been resurrected from spiritual death and have become one, with the Lord, as His eternal child. Christians are now able to share in His resurrection with Him. Our old natural, fallen nature was nailed to the Cross and we no longer live as slaves of Satan and our own sinful nature. The inner nature of all who have died to sin, were resurrected with Christ and will live with Christ, for eternity.
The Order of the Resurrection
We read and learn about the order of the resurrection from 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 22 to 24. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified for the sins and the sinful nature of every human who has ever lived. Jesus then visited hell and then rose again, as the first fruits of the resurrection. He was resurrected with an incorruptible, immortal body. The Lord foreshadowed the resurrection of all who were to become born again children of God. Mankind fell from God's grace, through Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden and thereby inherited a sin nature. However, the Son of God, as a man, died on the Cross and then rose again as an immortal being. Everyone died because of Adam's sin but everyone, who gave their life to Christ, were enabled to remain alive in Christ by the Holy Spirit. One day everyone who trusts in the Lord, will also inherit their own, resurrected body.
You Are a Resurrected Being
Every Christian, when they were born again, after repenting of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, received a new, recreated spirit, in the likeness of God. This we read according to Ephesians chapter 2 verse 6. Each of us were raised together, with Him and are now spiritually seated together with Him, in heavenly places. As a result we are now enabled to live a new, resurrected life. This was a life of righteousness with a wonderful basis, of living by faith. We experience this new life through a genuine fellowship with Jesus Christ and His righteousness. All who were born again were now able to live in Him and experience the mighty wonders of His life through obedience to the Holy Spirit. Moreover, they daily spend time learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all their life circumstances. The power of His resurrection is now active in their life and they also share in His suffering. We are continually being conformed, in our inner person to be made like Him, with His likeness. All of God's chosen children have been raised from the deadness of natural life that they once lived. It is more than just possible for His born again children to live in His reality of resurrection life! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Leave the Flesh Behind!
Perhaps, indeed very much so, we must leave behind, in our Christian walk, the passions, lusts, violence and depravity of our own wilful flesh. We must learn to become sanctified servants of the Lord! Romans chapter 8 verse 11 informs us that the born again Christian must be a spiritual person. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, dwells in you who are His children. As we have been raised and given new life, by the Holy Spirit recreating our spirit in the likeness of God, we are enabled to live, as spiritual persons, on earth and throughout eternity. Our life has been recreated to live, in Christ, as spiritual beings.
The Natural Person
We learn about the spiritual condition of all those who have not had their spirits recreated, in the likeness of God, from 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14. These people cannot know God because their spiritual understanding remains in darkness. The things of God remain and are foolishness to them because only those who read and meditate upon and confess God's word, the Holy Bible and seek and obey the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, can truly know the things of God. Everyone who will live in God's presence, in heaven, must be born again by the Holy Spirit.
The Carnal Christian
Living a life of carnality, is the name of the game, for every unbeliever. Unfortunately, many, even the majority of Christians, live a two phased life, made up partly of a spiritual walk and mainly of a carnal spiritual lifestyle. They have accepted Jesus Christ as being the way to heaven and are living like many believing Christians, even attending church on a regular basis, but have not left behind the things of the world. We read about the carnal mind from Romans chapter 8 verses 7 and 8. The condition of the carnal soul or the mind is earthly and devilish because it is really in conflict with the things of God. It rebels and does not want to obey God's laws. In fact, because of this rebellion, against God, it can never obey God, unless retrained through the word of God. Christians who keep living in the flesh, make themselves incapable of obeying or pleasing God.
We Must Have a Born Again Spirit
To be a real Christian, a child of God and part of the body of Christ, we must be able to understand the things of God; we must be born again. In Romans chapter 8 verses 9 and 10 we learn how essential it is, for a born again Christian, to live as a spiritual being. We must not indulge with things of the flesh but rather obey the things of God's Spirit. The Spirit of God constantly dwells, in the spirit of all believers. If a person does not know that they have the Spirit of God living in them, then they cannot be true sons and daughters of God. However, those who are born again will have God's Spirit living in them, so that they can faithfully carry out the plans and purposes of God. We must crucify the flesh so that our souls and bodies are no longer leading our lives but rather the Spirit of God has already given us God's righteousness and we are full of His life, in us.
Man's Vile Degradation
We read about the sorrowful account of humanity's corruption, not long after the fall, in the Garden of Eden. Satan had beguiled Adam and Eve to lose their earthly sovereignty over God's creation. Eve was deceitfully beguiled by Satan but Adam disobeyed God and lost his ruling power so that Satan became the deceitful ruler of the universe, excluding heaven. After centuries of corruption God looked down upon His handiwork and viewed the absolute degradation, of the beautiful world, He had created. We read about this terrible event from Genesis chapter 6 verse 5. This was corruption that God Almighty saw had completely destroyed the world that He had created. All of mankind, with the exception of Noah, his wife and their three sons, Shem, Ham and Japtheth and their wives were the only eight righteous persons that could be saved. All the rest of mankind would perish in the great Flood that covered all the earth. Noah and his family were saved by obediently building a large ship called the ark. Today, Jesus Christ is the sole ark, for all mankind, so that they can be saved from God's wrath to come!
Living in God's Light
We learn that all those who willingly follow God's ways are enabled to live as citizens of heaven, while on earth. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 2 informs us of this wonderful fact. Those who are spiritual are well able to judge all things both spiritually and materially as they listen to and obey the Holy Spirit. Non believers can never correctly judge the believing ones, in God, because their minds are darkened by Satan. Only those who learn and apply God's word and listen to and obey the directions of the Holy Spirit, can truly know God's understanding of the situation concerned. No one has the ability to instruct God, in anything, because God is the true creator of all that exists. The most remarkable fact is that born again Christians can live and learn about life according to God's will and purposes. Because their spirit has been recreated by the Holy Spirit they have also been gifted with and have inherited the likeness of the mind of the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the Son of God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Body Must Obey the Head- Blog 408- June 29th 2026]]>Mon, 29 Jun 2026 02:50:53 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-body-must-obey-the-head-blog-408-june-29th-2026Picture
The Head of the Church
The head or the spiritual director and authority of the body of born again believers -the church – is the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. He, alone, does and must direct all of the teaching and activities of His believers, no matter what their earthly denomination, is. If He is not allowed to do so then there is great strife, deceit and foolishness in the body. We read about the true leader or the real head of God's church from Colossians chapter 1 verses 17 and 18. Jesus is and must be allowed to be the supreme leader of every Christian church and of every born again believer. One day, every person, who has ever lived, will have to bow down and acknowledge Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as the Lord of all creation.
Our Body Belongs to the Lord
We read from 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 13 to 14, that our home, our body that we live in, belongs to the Lord. Jesus was raised from the dead by His Father and we are also raised together, with Him – the head and the body – as one. Our bodies are members of Christ and therefore they are not to be misused, in any form of immorality nor joined to an unbeliever, in any form of business or social malpractice. In Genesis chapter 2 verse 24, when speaking of the union of man and woman in marriage, as husband and wife, the two of them are joined together as one body. Never should a born again Christian be joined together, with an unbeliever, in a bodily or any other form of union. An unbeliever can never be one with a believer in spiritual or physical form, if they continue to remain an unbeliever. This would certainly only be a fake spiritual union!
Many Members with Many Functions
According to Romans chapter 12 verses 4 to 8 the body of Christ is composed, with many individual members, all, with many distinct functions. Each member is granted different spiritual and physical gifts in order to carry out the mighty work of the Holy Spirit. One believer may have a new prophetic message, from God, to encourage fellow believers. Others serve in spiritual and natural ways and others are given spiritual revelation knowledge in order to teach their fellow believers. There are also those, like Barnabas of old, who encourage fellow believers and those who are financially endowed and are therefore able to give generously to the work of spreading the gospel. There are those who lead diligently and there are those who show others mercy with cheerfulness.
God's Gifted Position for You
We read with great wonder, the appointments by the Lord, the various ministries which the Holy Spirit alots to every member of the church, in the Holy Spirit's order, from 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 27 to 31. Every born again Christian is given their own special gift or gifts by the Holy Spirit. Always use and truly appreciate the wonderful gifts that you have been endowed with. We learn that the five fold ministry gifts consist of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. There are those also who have been given gifts of healings, helpers, administrators and those who are able to speak out words of encouragement and prophetic utterances. Not all born again Christians have gifts in the categories mentioned above. However, they are gifted through the Holy Spirit, to carry out God's will and purposes in their own life and to help other people to know the Lord. Not all Christians have gifts of healings. Not all speak in unknown or heavenly tongues and not all are miracle workers. Always desire to use the best gifts, that is those with which you have been specifically gifted. Every Christian must practise the most wonderful gift of all – the sharing of God's love towards other people.
In Him We Are Complete
The church, the true body of believers made up from each individual member, is made complete, in the fullness of the deity of the Godhead- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This very important information we learn from reading Colossians chapter 2 verses 9 and 10. The whole being of Christ, as the head and the body, as the church of born again believers, is complete and should never act separately, but always together, as one spiritual unit. As we abide, in Christ, by reading His word, meditating upon its words, confessing and applying appropriate verses, to our current circumstances, we become victorious, in Him. We are well able to overcome all the deceits and foolishness of our own flesh, the world around us and the schemes and trickery of Satan and his demonic cohorts.
Follow Your Head
It is so important that we follow the lead of the Holy Spirit. This we learn and then allow ourselves to obey, as a command, from Romans chapter 8 verse 14. Here we learn of this very important fact. Our soul – our mind, will and emotions, must never keep on following our fleshly thoughts which will only lead to useless speech and futile acts. Our task is to be obedient to our head, the Lord Jesus Christ and follow obediently in His footsteps. Don't try to make your own way through life but live in His resurrection power. Then while walking your earthly pilgrimage you will live in His resurrection power and obtain overcoming victory, in your life, through Him, alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful overcoming power, this very day, as you obey your head! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[God's Compassion and Mercy - Part 2 - Blog 170-June 22nd 2026]]>Mon, 22 Jun 2026 02:40:29 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-compassion-and-mercy-part-2-blog-170-june-22nd-2026Picture
The Compassionate Heart of Jesus
Jesus and His compassionate heart is further recorded in Matthew chapter 15 verse 32. The multitude had come to Jesus for healing. What marvellous miracles were occurring from the hands of Jesus. The dumb spoke; the maimed were made whole; the lame walked and the blind could now see. Jesus had compassion on their daily needs; in this case, their hunger. These people had been listening to Jesus but had not eaten for three days. He did not send them away hungry lest they became faint on the way home. His compassion became very practical and He fed them from God's miracle provision of seven loaves and a few little fish. How much true food for salvation and for healing needs to be fed to a hungry church congregation, today. Jesus can miraculously feed his flock, through revelation knowledge, from His mighty storehouse, the word of God.
We Must Practise Mercy
God shows His people, through His word, the Holy Bible, what He desires of them. We learn this from Micah chapter 6 verse 8. God has shown His people what is good and what God desires them to do and how they are to live. They are to be people who love justice and practise it in their daily lives and pray that the laws of the land reflect the heart of God's people. They must love mercy and practise mercy and care for others as well as themselves. God's people are also willing to walk, humbly, before God and accept His word as the foundation for their lives.
God's Mercy Frees from Satan's grip
In Mark chapter 5 verse 19 we read about the great compassion that Jesus showed to the demoniac. This man had been delivered, by Jesus, from his demon possession. He had once lived as a mad man and as a result was dwelling among the tombs. The demons, in him, were so powerful that no one could even bind him with chains. So much of the world is bound in even greater spiritual bondage, which only Jesus can break and then give them God's freedom.
Paul Is Changed by God's Compassion
Paul, the Apostle, persecuted the early church. He was a devout Pharisee until Jesus spoke to him, on the road to Damascus. He was incredibly changed from that time onwards. Paul had tried to destroy the church, through blind ignorance of who Jesus is. He had been immediately changed because he had seen the Light of the World. This we read about in 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 13. He had obtained God's mercy and forgiveness because he had carried out his wrong deeds in unbelief. At that very moment he was now set free. Everyone who comes to the Lord for forgiveness and for healing will receive God's mercy and also will be set free.
God's Mercy Is Abundant Forever
1 Peter chapter 1 verse 4 informs us of God the Father's great and abundant mercy to us, through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. His great grace was revealed, to us, through Jesus' death on the Cross and His subsequent resurrection. He has begotten His children to an everlasting hope of eternal life. This gracious invitation, based on God's untold mercy and grace, is available, to all who are willing to believe.
God's Mercy Is Revealed Through His Truth
We read in Psalm 85 verse 10a that God's mercy and truth have met together. God's children are to readily desire what God desires. We must be full of His love and compassion so that we will be merciful and desire to know His truth in all things.
God's Children Must Be Merciful and Compassionate
All God's children must be full of compassion and mercy. The source of His compassion and His mercy, for His children, is God's word, the Holy Bible. If we diligently read and apply His word and obey the directions of the Holy Spirit, we will become compassionate and merciful people. Each day, meditate on His word and confess and apply God's word to all your life's circumstances. In this way you will also defeat and overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. You will be a victorious Christian! Your desire will be to praise and worship the Lord on a constant basis, as well as reaching out willingly, to the needs of those around you. Continue being obedient to God's will and purposes and remain full of His compassion and mercy. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[God's Compassion and Mercy -Part 1 -blog 170 - June 15th 2026]]>Mon, 15 Jun 2026 02:41:00 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/gods-compassion-and-mercy-part-1-blog-170-june-15th-2026Picture
We Must Be Like Jesus
Our Lord Jesus Christ is a compassionate God and full of gracious mercy. He has compassion or pity on those who have given their life to Him and even now on those who haven't. If it were not so Satan, as the god of this world, would have already destroyed all of mankind. Jesus and His word, the Holy Bible, together with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, stands in the way of Satan's deceitful plans. God's mercy is everlasting upon all those who hear His voice and are willing to ask for forgiveness of their sins and be washed clean in his precious blood. These people obtain His compassion and mercy, not only for this earthly life, but for eternal life in the next. All may obtain His compassion and mercy, now, but only those who accept His gracious gift of forgiveness and eternal life, will do so, forever.
Our God Is a Merciful God
We read in Exodus chapter 20 verse 6 that our God is a God of great mercy as opposed to the god of this world, Satan. Satan only comes to steal from, kill and destroy mankind. God the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ, shows His great mercy, to thousands upon thousands of people, throughout the world, every day. His mercy is always upon those who love Him and keep His commandments. His two great commandments are to love Him and to love other people. We are able to grow in His love and walk by faith as every day we read, meditate upon, confess and apply His word to every situation we confront in life.
God's Mercy Is Long Suffering
Further aspects of God's great mercy are revealed in Numbers chapter 14 verses 18 and 19. Jesus was sent to pardon the iniquities or sins of His people. God is long suffering and His mercy is abundant. He is merciful to all who will repent and ask Him for forgiveness. However, He will not be merciful to those who wilfully continue in sin and reject His gracious gift of forgiveness. All that turn to the Lord are forgiven and obtain His eternal mercy.
Give Thanks for His Goodness
Psalm 136 verse 1 encourages God's people to always give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. Why should we praise the Lord? Because He is our God and His mercy endures every day, every week, every month, every year and forever. Early in the day, when you first arise, start praising the Lord for His goodness and His mercy for the new day that lies ahead.
God's Justice Brings Compassion and Mercy
The prophet, Zechariah, was given a powerful message, from the Lord, concerning God's mercy and compassion in Zechariah chapter 7 verses 8 to 10. The Lord is telling His people to carry out God's justice and to show mercy and compassion to all their family members, relatives and to all the people that they know. Those who were downtrodden and oppressed were to be helped by those who were more fortunate. This particularly included the widows and the orphans as well as those who were not socially or ethnically part of their local group. All who were poor were to be given assistance. This could include help with food or rent or even with mortgages or recurring payments. No one was to plan to do evil against another person. We are all called to physically help and to pray and intercede for those who are downcast by circumstances or by society. Jesus blesses those and sustains those who are willing to help the oppressed.
Merciful People Are Greatly Blessed
As part of the Beatitudes in Matthew chapter 5 verse 7 we read about those who are merciful. All who are merciful are greatly blessed by the Lord for they shall obtain His mercy. To be merciful and full of compassion is to be like the Lord. We are to consider others before ourselves. We are to put ourselves in their shoes and realise that they are needy people just like we were once, ourselves.
God's Heart Is Full of Compassion
The heart of the Lord or His Spirit, is revealed in Matthew chapter 9 verses 36 to 38. When Jesus saw the multitude His heart was filled with compassion. They were weary and scattered. Everyone was tired out by the circumstances of life and they were like sheep who had no direction and like sheep without a leader. Unfortunately, many church congregations are spiritually scattered and as a result they are also physically scattered. Why does this happen? It is because they are not being spiritually fed from God's word. The harvest of lost souls was great then and it is even greater, today. It was and still is a great harvest but there are few pastors or leaders to help them. We are to pray to the Lord of the Harvest Jesus Christ, Himself, that He will send His chosen labourers into His harvest. Pray, diligently, that one of God's chosen labourers will reach out to your lost son or daughter or to others that you know, need God's help. According to God's will and purposes all God's children are to be labourers in God's great harvest.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[Why People Go to Hell - Blog 407 - June 8th 2026]]>Mon, 08 Jun 2026 02:25:10 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/why-people-go-to-hell-blog-407-june-8th-2026Picture
Many Reasons Are Given
There are many suppositions of why people go to hell. Included are reasons such as – they are not chosen by God. Unfortunately, they have committed just too many sins. These people also forgot to repent of their sins. Many times they forgot to read or even ignored the instructions to read God's word, the Holy Bible. Perhaps they have committed the unforgivable sin. They were never regular church attenders. Some of them have even gambled the family's money away. Their children went hungry because they drank too much strong drink or got high on drugs just once too often. Faulty thinking makes the list grow even longer. Most of those things quoted above are not good but they are not the real reason, why!
Always Follow the Holy Spirit
How important it is to listen to the Holy Spirit and follow His instructions. In order to stay on God's pathway, to eternal life, it is absolutely mandatory to do so. This we learn from Romans chapter 8 verse 14. We must allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit. This will save us making gross and deceitful decisions. As we obey we also demonstrate to our spirit and to those around us, that we are truly children of God. Furthermore, we read from Romans chapter 8 verse 16, that as we are willing to obey God the Holy Spirit testifies and confirms, to our spirit, the assurance that those who truly believe are His blood bought children.
Jesus Died for Everyone
We read and learn from John chapter 3 verse 16 that God so highly prized His creation of mankind, that God the Father gave His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as His sacrifice, on the Cross at Calvary, for their eternal redemption. Everyone, no matter who is willing to believe and accepts Christ's gracious gift of salvation, can be saved, for all eternity. As believers trust in Him they will never die but will abide, in Him, for eternity. John chapter 3 verse 17 informs us why Jesus came down to earth. He was not sent into the world to condemn and to judge the world but to save all who would truly accept and trust in His saving grace. His final and real task was to save everyone that believes in Him, from eternal damnation, in hell.
The Disaster of Rejection
From John chapter 3 verse 18 we learn of the foolishness of rejecting Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Saviour. At the moment of final rejection, they are then judged unworthy to receive eternal life. These people then become damned and are cut off from God's eternal blessings and remain in their sins, hell bound. They refuse to believe on the name of the only true redeemer of mankind – Jesus Christ, the Righteous Son of God. John chapter 3 verse 19 informs us that the reason for their indictment is that they have rejected the Light of God, Jesus Christ. Why did they do so? These people who are, unfortunately, by far the greatest majority of the world's people, loved darkness; they loved practising sin because their spirits remained in darkness and they were driven to perpetuating their evil deeds. They were far too proud to submit their lives to Jesus Christ and accept His sacrifice and pardon for their sinful life.
Why They Go to Hell
People who miss out and eventually will go to hell reject the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge, to their own spirit, of who Jesus really is. He is the only begotten Son of God, and the only Lord and Saviour of mankind. This we learn from Luke chapter 10 verse 16. Their own will cuts themselves off from eternal salvation. Those who reject Christ also reject God the Father, in heaven. Even if they have committed many heinous crimes against humanity or lived grossly immoral lives or stolen billions of dollars or thought and said highly improper things against God and other people – if they are willing to repent of their sins and accept their salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, they will not be damned. Everyone, who goes to hell, goes there because they willingly reject God's gracious gift of salvation and eternal life. That's the only reason they will go to hell! They loved darkness and evil rather than God's light and righteousness.
Accept Jesus Christ, Today!
This is the day of salvation, according to 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 2. Right now is the acceptable time; this very day is the day of salvation. Don't miss out! Today accept your salvation package for your complete forgiveness and healing. Accept Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Saviour. Repent of your sins and have your spirit recreated by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God and you will become a son or a daughter of God. You will be rescued from the jaws of hell and obtain eternal life, in heaven, with God and his everlasting blessings! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Never Be Too Late
One of my two lovely daughters used to often say to me that although she was tardy, in getting to the airport, she never missed a flight! When she told me this I advised her to be very careful, in the future. One day, later on, my wife and I were staying in her home when she had to catch a flight to Perth. When she left for the airport she seemed to be too late, to board. Unfortunately, it was no surprise when, a little while later, she arrived back at her home, quite downcast. She had missed her plane! It is so important, that everyone, that wants to go to heaven but unfortunately puts off repenting of their sins. They can end up being, just too late, to repent!
You Must Be Born Again
One night, a Jewish leader named Nicodemus, came to Jesus and asked Him how a person could enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We read about his inquiry from John chapter 3 verses 1 to 7. Nicodemus recognised that Jesus had been sent by God because no one could do the mighty works that Jesus did, unless they had been sent by God. Jesus replied to Nicodemus and told him that no one could enter heaven unless they were spiritually reborn, from above, by the Holy Spirit. Nicodemus did not really understand and questioned how anyone could be reborn from their mother's womb. Jesus replied that unless a person was born again of water and the Holy Spirit, they could not enter the Kingdom of God. To be reborn was not merely a physical transformation. This new creation required a spiritual reformation, by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God.
Empowered Christians
It is important to be baptised by the Holy Spirit, for empowerment, with evidence of speaking in tongues. We learn about twelve Ephesian Christians who had been born again under John the Baptist's ministry but had never been baptised by the Holy Spirit, in Acts chapter 19 verses 2 to 7. Paul subsequently baptised these twelve men in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then he laid his hands on them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues and to prophesy. When people speak in an unknown language they usually speak to God but can be enabled to speak in a human language, unknown to them. Speaking in tongues and prophesying are hallmarks of empowered Christians.
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
We read about the parable of the ten virgins from Matthew chapter 25 verses 1 to 7. In the earthly kingdom of heaven there were five foolish virgins and five wise. The five foolish virgins have most likely church membership and even performed valuable chores in the church assembly, but they were thoughtless, silly and careless in their relationship with the Lord and His word, the Holy Bible. The five wise virgins were far - sighted, practical and sensible and had a regular fellowship with the Lord and His word. The foolish virgins had lamps but they did not keep on renewing their oil by learning, reading, confessing and applying God's word, to their daily lives and they did not listen to nor obey the Holy Spirit. The five wise virgins kept on learning and meditating upon God's word and the instructions of the Holy Spirit. This all took some time and the Bridegroom delayed his coming or return for His church and soon they all fell asleep. At midnight, there was a shout and the Bridegroom came. The unwise virgins had neglected the word of God and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. However, the five wise virgins had continually fed their spirits, with the word of God and were ready to meet the Bridegroom, when He came.
Foolish Churchgoers Can Miss Out
The greatest tragedy befell the five unwise virgins! They missed out on inheriting eternal life. In Matthew chapter 25 verses 8 to 12 we read that the foolish virgins wanted the wise virgins to give them some of their oil but the wise virgins advised them to go and buy their own oil because the wise virgins did not have sufficient oil for their own lamps, as well as those of the five foolish virgins. We must all be filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit. Someone else's oil is not sufficient for us to gain eternal life. Therefore the five unwise virgins missed out because they were not spiritually prepared, for Christ's return. Later on the Bridegroom closed the eternal door upon the five foolish virgins. They had missed out on what God had planned for them and were locked out of eternal life, forever. Even worse when the five foolish virgins complained the Bridegroom told them that He had never known them.
Why Do People Miss Out?
We learn from Matthew chapter 25 verses 12 and 13 that many church attendees, including church members, are in danger of missing out on going to heaven and eternal life. They have never really bothered to repent of their sins nor have accepted Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour. As a result, their spirits, were never recreated by the Holy Spirit. They were church goers mainly because of friends or family and never really became true members of the body of Christ, as God's own eternal children. The Lord told the five foolish virgins that He didn't know them, as His own, because they had no relationship or fellowship with Him. We, ourselves, must always be ready, whether young or old, whether the Lord comes for us individually or in the final rapture of the church, at the end of the age! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Satan's Dwelling Place
Everything and every person that lives in darkness of spirit, soul or body and remains there, certainly lives in Satan's kingdom of darkness. This is an environment of violence and unrest, great lack and destitution. It is a place of fear and danger, of underdevelopment of real faith, a place of mistrust and anger and of spiritual despair – in short it is a life where people live in endless hopelessness. All, who are not born again Christians, dwell in this deceitful and foolish environment.
How Does Hope Arise?
There must be a way out of this ever decaying mess! Thank God, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, has made a bountiful way out. It all began and remains, as a way of faith, throughout all eternity. This began when the Lord died, was buried and rose again forevermore. To those who believe, He gave them all, in Him, eternal life with their sins, forgiven. We read in Isaiah chapter 9 verse 2 that all those who once lived in the darkness of Satan's kingdom, saw and accepted this great light. This enabled mankind to escape from their despair and inherit eternal hope, glory and life. Those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour are immediately transferred, spiritually, into God's eternal kingdom of light.
Don't Be Spiritually Blind!
From Matthew chapter 6 verses 23 and 24 we learn that the darkness in our life can come through a lack of knowing God's word and listening to the Holy Spirit. This can cause us to have spiritual blindness or lack of true understanding of God's plans and purposes. It is the light of God's word, in our inner person or spirit that enables us to overcome Satan's darkness in our lives. Christians must not try to serve Christ and at the same time, be influenced by the lies and deceits of the world, the flesh and the devil. Nothing, in our lives, must be more highly valued than God and His word and His plans for our life. Always live and walk in the Spirit of God.
No Longer in the Dark Kingdom
All born again Christians soon realise that they no longer dwell, even while on earth, in Satan's kingdom of darkness. When they accept Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, have repented of their sins and know they have been forgiven, also know they are not members of the kingdom of darkness, anymore. Their inner person or spirit has been recreated, by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God's Spirit. We read about our transfer from the kingdom of Satan's darkness into God's kingdom of light, in Colossians chapter 1 verses 13 and 14. All born again Christians, are now to live as redeemed children of God.
Only Serve God
We learn by reading Matthew chapter 6 verse 24 that we cannot serve or love two masters; one of which is good and the other is evil. As God's true children we must only love and serve our true master, the Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot serve our flesh, the world around us or the devil. Our lives must now be directed by God's word, the Holy Bible and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In this way we can fulfil God's plan for our life and bring honour and glory to the Father in Jesus' name.
Foolish Understanding of Unbelievers
By reading Ephesians chapter 4 verses 17 and 18 we learn that those who are not born again, children of God, have their reasoning or understanding darkened, by the plots and trickery of Satan. The Gentiles or unbelievers live in absolute futility doing what they were not created to do. They act foolishly and their spirits and souls lack reality. Their reasoning is clouded because they have alienated themselves from the truth of God's word. Unbelievers are wilfully ignorant and blinded to the things of God. Their spirits have remained immature and hardened. All unbelievers live in Satan's realm of darkness.
God's People Are Special
All of God's children are special because they were chosen or elected before time began, by God the Father. They are saved and redeemed by God's Son, Jesus Christ and their spirits are recreated by God the Holy Spirit, to do God's works for eternity. This we learn from 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9 and 10. Christians are a chosen race of people. They are a royal priesthood; they are a consecrated nation, unto the Lord. The Hebrews or Jews, as a race of people, failed to inherit God's promises but everyone who is born again, of the Spirit of God, has been enabled to inherit His eternal promises. Christians live on earth to proclaim God's excellent deeds, virtues and perfections to all of mankind and particularly among His chosen elected people. Once, in time past, every born again Christian did not belong to God's kingdom. However, they all have accepted His wonderful gift of grace and have forever been transferred from Satan's kingdom of darkness to God's eternal kingdom of light. Before we were born again we had not received God's great mercy and compassion but now we are the receivers of His unbounded grace, mercy and His love, forevermore. Praise the Lord for His wonderful goodness to His chosen people, who have received His gracious gift of redemption! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[The Lord Is My Strength-Blog 169- May 18th 2026]]>Mon, 18 May 2026 02:38:53 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/the-lord-is-my-strength-blog-169-may-18th-2026Picture
Be Empowered With His Strength
For every born again Christian, Jesus Christ Must be the strength of their life, otherwise much of their life is a dismal failure. Only in Christ and His strength can we depend. In any kind of trouble the Lord is our fortress. In any kind of distress the Lord is our comfort. In any kind of need the Lord is our provider. If we constantly wait upon the Lord and are obedient to Him, His strength becomes our strength and our battle becomes His battle. In doing this we are assured of overcoming victory in Him. Don't try to win in your own strength but claim His strength as your own.
God's Strength Is Our Protection
We read about God's strength in 2 Samuel chapter 22 verse 3. My full Strength is in God, alone. I must trust Him fully in every situation or circumstance. His shield of my faith, in Him, protects me from all harm and danger. He is the stronghold from where my strength comes from. The Lord is also my refuge, to whom I must fly, when the storms of life come against me. It might be in finances or in health or in family relationships or in an overwhelming feeling of doubt or unbelief. The Lord upholds me and saves me from every outward storm or inward upset. Whatever violence the flesh, the world and particularly the devil, tries to throw my way, I will, in Christ, be victorious.
God's Wisdom and Strength
In Job chapter 12 verse 13 we read that, in God, there is both wisdom and strength. To be full of God's strength we need wisdom for how to plan our day and not to waste time. God strengthens our spirit whereby we are enabled to have a strong soul – will, mind and emotions. The Lord gives us wisdom concerning the best way to do our daily activities to the honour and glory of His holy name and to keep us safe and free from harm. His marvellous counsel, on how to deal with every situation that comes upon us, gives each Christian greater understanding. In every circumstance His strength gives us His ability to think, speak and do what is righteous and holy.
Our Strength and Prosperity in God
Job chapter 9 verse 4 informs us that God is wise, in His heart, His very being. It is in our spirit where we must begin to be strong and wise. This means our inner being or spirit must be in tune with God's word and the Holy Spirit. It must be a daily practice based upon reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word, according to His wisdom and knowledge. A Christian's spirit is recreated to be prosperous in all aspects of their life: spiritual, material and physical. Our life must be constantly feeding upon the knowledge of God with His strength and wisdom, upholding us, in all of life's circumstances. God's strength makes us prosperous against all the onslaughts of the flesh, the world and the devil. Not to do things God's ways leads us into foolishness and trouble.
God's Strength Is Available to Every Born Again Believer
God is willing to be strong on behalf of all who are willing to believe His word. We read about this from Job chapter 36 verse 5. Although God is almighty and powerful, over all His creation, yet He despises no one, even the weakest of human beings from the cradle to the very aged person. He is very mighty in His understanding and He is able to instruct, help and protect us, if we are willing, to let Him do so.
The Lord Is My Strength
Psalm 28 verses 7 and 8 tells us of our need to trust in Him and His strength Without Him we have no real strength against the onslaughts of our own flesh, the world and the devil. The Lord is both our strength and our shield. If our spirit listens to and obeys the Holy Spirit we are helped and our spirit rejoices. I will personally sing melodies of praise to His holy name. The Lord is the saving refuge for His anointed children from all doubt, unbelief, fear and deceit, that often surrounds each of us in this spiritually, mentally and physically, fallen world.
His Strength Gives Deliverance
We learn more about God's strength from Psalm 18 verses 1 and 2. The more we praise and worship the Lord and the greater our fellowship with Him the more we will love Him and the strength He provides for our life. The Lord is my rock and my sure foundation for every aspect of my life. He is my fortress in which I am safe from the fiery darts of the enemy, Satan. God's word is both my foundation and my protection. As well, His word gives deliverance to my spirit, soul and body. Jesus is my strength and in Him I trust. He is my shield or protection. His powerful weapons destroy the darkness of this world and enables me to inherit His salvation. The word of God and the Holy Spirit become our complete stronghold.
Wait On the Lord and His Strength
Don't rush headlong with your life. Don't emulate the often useless pursuits of the flesh and the world. We must learn to follow the advice given to those who read and meditate upon Psalm 27 verse 14. We must wait upon the Lord and listen to the Holy Spirit and truly believe what we read in God's word. There are times we must be patient and wait on the Lord's timing. His strength is always available to those who are willing to do things His way. As we wait our hearts and minds are strengthened and we become courageous persons, fulfilling His mighty plans. This must be God's way and not Satan's way or the false ideas often proposed by the world church. These are those who pretend to be following Christ, they must be avoided at all costs. They are in reality, unbelievers, doing things their own way!
Being Strengthened by the Lord
Our Lord Jesus is always able and willing to strengthen His people. We read about this in Psalm 84 verse 7. Everyone who loves the Lord and reads, meditates upon, confesses and applies God's word to their daily situations can be constantly strengthened by the Lord. The Holy Spirit, also, will tell your spirit, what is the right thing to do as every given life circumstance, occurs. All who are in Zion, or a part of God's holy citadel of truth and righteousness, go from strength to strength. They look back in amazement at the wonderful strength and protection he has given them, over many years.
God's Strength Is Our Strength
At times everyone can be weak; sometimes in the spirit or the mind or the will or the emotions and often in the body. God is never weak. He is strong in everything, all the time, because He, alone, is holy and perfect. We read in Isaiah chapter 40 verse 29 that God empowers the weak as they are willing to turn to Him. Those that are very weak, He gives them strength. This can be healing for the body, the soul or the spirit, it matters not at all. He increases the strength of those that trust in Him
God's Strength Gets the Job Done
We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 that God's strength is fully sufficient for every need we shall ever have. Paul gladly boasted in his infirmities. God's strength is perfectly shown to us and others because of His abiding presence in our lives. If we allow God's strength to help us then God, the Father, is glorified and we are made abundantly able to do everything that the Lord requires of us. Often we have brick walls that only God can break down. Particularly, does this occur in relationships between people and often in solutions to long standing health problems, in our life or in those of other people. The Lord and His strength, alone, is well able to enable us to triumph, over the most confronting circumstances.
The Lord's Overcoming Strength
Our strength is able to overcome using the armour of the Lord. We learn about this from Ephesians chapter 6 verses 10 to 18. How must all Christians become strong? We overcome through the power of the Lord. There is no other spiritually legitimate, way. To do so we must be fully armed with the whole armour of God. In Him, we can completely overcome and stand fast against the iniquitous schemes of the devil and his demonic hordes. Our battle is not just an earthly one as many Christians and most non believers, think. But we wrestle or fight against the principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness of this age. These forces set themselves up deliberately against God and His goodness and promote evil. No one can withstand the evil of our adversary without taking up the whole armour of God. We do all in Christ that we can do and keep standing fast, in the evil day. We must always wear the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. Our feet need to be shod with the gospel of peace wherein we witness about the Lord to others, even in our old age. The most important weapon that we have is the shield of faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit. This is God's holy word, the Bible.
Use the Word of God
In Colossians chapter 1 verse 11 we read we are strengthened with all of His might through the Holy Spirit and His word. No Christian ever has to battle through life by themselves. God is always and willing to help His children. To be very effective in using this weapon, the Holy Bible, it must be frequently read, meditated upon, confessed and applied on a daily basis. With this weapon we are able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. Upon our head we wear the helmet of salvation and in our hands is our offensive weapon, the sword of the Holy Spirit, which is the word of God. We must always keep praying and interceding for our family and friends. Always be watchful and persevere in our supplications to God and never give up. In doing so, the mighty strength of God is always freely available to us.
Strengthened by His Spirit
Always be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might according to Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10. God's strength is forever. We have no need to fear in any situation. Keep your eyes fixed on the Lord and His word and not on the circumstances around you. Above all, keep worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only true Saviour and Redeemer, of all mankind. These are those who are willing to believe. These are the ones who have accepted His gracious gift of forgiveness of sins through their willingness to repent and then become endowed with His wonderful gift of eternal life, provided through His blood shed on the Cross at Calvary.

<![CDATA[Your Confession - Blog 404 - May 11th 2026]]>Mon, 11 May 2026 02:00:50 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/your-confession-blog-404-may-11th-2026Picture
We Confess Jesus
Every born again Christian must consistently confess Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their personal Lord and Saviour. Christianity is rightly called the great confession. Everyone, everywhere, confesses or speaks out words of their nationality, their family name, their religious beliefs or their location and address of where they live. People who say they don't confess anything about themselves or their identity don't seem to realise when they are asked to speak out or write down who they are that they are really confessing this information according to the relevant question. Confession is really admitting the truth concerning any facet of your life.
Our Christian Confession
According to Romans chapter 10 verse 9 when a Christian acknowledges Jesus Christ, with the words of their mouth, they are really confessing their own salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. This was shed on their behalf, on the Cross of Calvary. They believe in their heart or their inner person, that they have been saved from their sins to live with Christ, for eternity. Romans chapter 10 verse 10 then informs them that those who truly believe, in their recreated spirit or inner person, are also justified and given righteous standing before God's throne, in heaven. As a child of God they are now willing to confess the lordship of Jesus Christ before anyone who will accept the righteous words of their mouth. They are a child of God and therefore are no longer poor old sinners destined for hell. Consistently, they are new creations recreated in the likeness of God's Spirit, destined for heaven and for everlasting life.
Everyone Will Have to Acknowledge Jesus
When we read and ponder Romans chapter 14 verse 11 we realise that one day in the future, every person that has been created by God and has never been willing, while on earth, to accept the sovereignty of Jesus Christ, as Lord of all, will have to do so. Every person, from every language, ethnic background or religious belief, will have to bow down before Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord. Much better to do it while alive on planet earth and so inherit eternal life. One day they will still have to acknowledge Jesus as Lord but then they will be assigned to eternal hell in the flames of fire!
Jesus Is Our High Priest
Hebrews chapter 3 verse 1 informs us that all born again Christians share in our wonderful calling of serving the Lord. We acknowledge Jesus Christ as our wonderful High Priest and also as the Apostle or heavenly messenger of our faith. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour, who intercedes for us, before God's throne. We have this honour from the day that we first believed and repented of our sins and accepted Him as our eternal Lord and Saviour. We were then willing to confess Him in our home, before family and friends, in our church fellowship and on many occasions before our work mates or the whole world, at large. This happens as the Lord grants the opportunity for us to do so.
Hold Fast Your Confession
We must always hold fast or hang on to our wonderful confession of Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Saviour. We are informed of this when reading Hebrews chapter 4 verse 14. Being a pilgrim, on our earthly journey, may often be a very long time, even as long as seventy years or more. For many born again Christians it can be a much shorter period, even far less than twenty years. Whatever time the pilgrimage takes it is always beset with doubts and fears and all kinds of tribulations and trials. At all times we must base our lives on the confession of God's word, the Holy Bible and be directed by the Holy Spirit. In doing so we are strengthened on our pathway, and made able to follow our great High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord has already gone before us to our heavenly destiny. In holding fast to Him and through tenacious trust in who He is, we also will be able to overcome in life and attain our everlasting abode, in Christ.
Confess Your Sins
Christians should never make a practice of sinning but from time to time believers will think, say or do something that the Holy Spirit convicts their own spirit of whatever they have done, is wrong and it is sin. This sin needs to be repented of. When this occurs we learn from 1 John chapter 1 verse 9 that we are to acknowledge, repent and confess our sins to Jesus, our Advocate, before God's throne, in heaven. When we do so the Lord is faithful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us, continually, through His precious blood, from all forms of unrighteousness. We are then fully restored from any broken fellowship and are well able to continue doing His will and purposes, in our life.
Always Abide in Him
Those Christians who keep on abiding in Christ, on a daily basis, must consistently confess God's word over all of their life's circumstances. It must be a continuous happening. Always read a portion of the word, in the early morning before the days events begin occurring as well as just before settling down to sleep at night. Read the word, learn the word, confess and apply the word of God, in your prayers and quiet times and at appropriate moments before other people. This constant reminder to your spirit, is essential so that you remind your spirit and even other people where your real strength lies. It must always be grounded in the truth of the Lord and His amazing, life giving word! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Repeat Daily:

<![CDATA[Beware of Wolves - Blog 403- May 4th 2026]]>Mon, 04 May 2026 02:31:47 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/beware-of-wolves-blog-403-may-4th-2026Picture
Beware of False Teachers
The body of Christ, the true church of God, has been infiltrated and harassed throughout nearly twenty centuries, by false teachers claiming to have a new understanding of God's word. This so called revelation knowledge not only rejects major portions of scripture, particularly of the New Testament, but also twists and turns the meanings that were given by the Lord and the apostles. These ministers of false teaching often have a valid theological or university training accompanied by an impressive array of educational qualifications. They dress, speak and perform with a form of gentleness and glibness that can blind the reality of many, particularly younger converts, of the falsity of their teaching. Inwardly, according to Jesus' teaching, they are really like ravening wolves who are sent by Satan and other false leaders, to trap the genuine body of Christ. This we read and learn from Matthew chapter 7 verse 15.
How to Know a False Teacher
False teachers will try to convince you through clever rhetoric and by referring to the teachings of other false teachers. Their focus is primarily to beguile you and to turn you from the truth only found in God's word, the Holy Bible. Many of their doctrines are based on man made ideas and propositions and focus on themselves with interesting stories of worldly value accompanied by palatable jokes. We are informed about them in. We are informed about this in Luke 6 verses 43 to 45.The fruit of their teaching bears out who they really are! They produce corrupt spiritual results amongst God's people, particularly those who are younger or ill taught. These people are really false spiritual teachers who can only produce bad fruit. Good spiritual teachers are like good fruit trees who produce tasty, nourishing produce that which is from God's word, the Holy Bible. They teach from a secure foundation so that their listeners and students can bring forth a sound spiritual foundation for their life.
The Hireling Scatters or Leaves the Flock.
Every person appointed to a position in the five fold ministry – apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher – must be appointed by God, in heaven. If they are only appointed by church leadership or by a denominational organisation without a divine confirmation of their appointment, they will, in fact, be only a hireling – someone merely hired to do the job. We read about the status of the hireling from John chapter 10 verse 12. Basically, hirelings only work because they have a recognised position by mankind and for their wages or salary. Those who are appointed by the Lord are often not fully recognised and many times depend upon the Lord for their daily living expenses. When hard times come, through lack of sufficient funds and from outside persecution, the hireling quickly resigns and leaves the congregation to their own resources. At this point, the wolf representing the flesh of the adherents, the world around them and the deceits of Satan, comes in and decimates or scatters the flock. The true shepherd, appointed by God, will stay with the flock and guide the congregation through whatever difficult circumstances come their way.
Jesus Warned the Seventy
Jesus Christ sent seventy disciples out to witness about the coming kingdom of God. This we read about from Luke chapter 10 verses 3 to 12. He warned them that they were to listen to Him or they would be lambs ready to be taken by wolves. They were not to carry a money bag or extra clothes nor extra provisions. His disciples were not to be waylaid and wherever they travelled they were to pronounce peace upon all the houses that would accept them. They were to stay in those homes and eat their meals. Then they were to preach that the kingdom of God had come to them. For those who would not accept they were to wipe off the dust from their sandals as a witness that they had rejected them. In the day of judgement it would be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah, than for them. Christians can often feel, in this world, that they are like lambs among wolves, those who are not willing to accept God's gracious gift of salvation.
Paul's Warning to the Church
The apostle Paul forewarned the body of believers, in Ephesus, about false teachers who would come into their assembly or even rise up from their own ranks. This warning was given to the believers in Acts chapter 20 verses 28 and 29. Paul knew, that after he was gone, the church was to be on their guard, against false teachers and their deceitful, ravenous lies. They would act in a false gentle way but they were, in reality, wolves, directed by Satan and most likely, even false brethren. They would rise up, decimate and scatter the flock of believers. Their focus was to draw followers after themselves just like false teachers do so, in many churches, today! Real Christians are born again believers whose lives are founded on the Holy Spirit's revelation of the word of God, the Holy Bible. These people will not be led astray by those who are false teachers or antichrists. Thank God, your strong fortress will be the truth and righteousness of God's word as it is demonstrated in every part of your life! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Keep Your Healing - Blog 407-April 27th 2026]]>Mon, 27 Apr 2026 01:25:05 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/keep-your-healing-blog-168-april-27th-2026Picture
Healing Is Most Important
Healing of spirit, soul and body is of upmost importance to all human beings. How often have we seen, either in person or on a television screen, mass healing meetings by televangelists, of many people being saved or healed. At times we have witnessed healing taking place, in our small local church and even in our homes. Healing is still fairly prevalent in some Pentecostal and faith- filled churches. The important question arises; how long do these people keep their healing? Is it for the full time of life's journey or does it last for only a few years or even months or weeks or perhaps, only a few days? Like most issues regarding healing, even if you are in a natural state, you have to live a healthy, lifestyle to maintain your healing. This means cleanliness, nourishing food and exercise.
God Is Our True Healer
We know from Psalm 103 verse 3, that God not only forgives us our sins, but also heals us from our diseases. God is truly the healer of all who are willing to believe, in Him and His word.
Healing Is Our Born Again Right
In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 we learn that by the stripes or the blows that cut into Jesus' back, we are healed. Our healing is part of the Lord's salvation package, for all who truly believe.
Turn to the Lord
All of God's children can be forgiven, healed and restored. However, repentance is a vital aspect of our restoration. This we read in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14. We must be willing to pray and call upon His name. We must humble ourselves and seek His face. We must turn from our own wicked ways. If we do so, God will hear from Heaven and will forgive our sins, Not only will we be healed but also others who do so, will be healed..
It Is God's Will to Heal You
Is it God's will to heal me? The answer is found in Matthew chapter 4 verse 23. First of all, Jesus taught the people and preached the gospel of the Kingdom to them. Then He healed them of all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. This same work needs to be faithfully carried out by the body of Christ, in the very age in which we live. God certainly desires to heal or else Jesus would have been working against God's will and purposes.
Disciples Were Sent to Heal
We read in Matthew chapter 10 verses 7 and 8 that Jesus' disciples were sent out to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons so that the people would be free, indeed. All church leaders should tell their congregations that the Kingdom of heaven, is already at hand, this very day.
You Can Strengthen or Lose Your Healing
According to Romans chapter 10 verse 17 we are told that faith comes by hearing and hearing, over and over again, the word of God. Our faith rises as we daily, read the word, confess the word and apply the word to all our circumstances. As we pay attention to what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit or our inner voice, our spirit then tells our mind, will and our body to be obedient to God's will and purposes. As a result, our faith increases and so does our bodily health. Just because you were healed in a wonderful way, weeks or months ago, you must also maintain your healing, by faith, daily, on God's word, If not you can gradually lose your healing and soon be back on your medicines. Perhaps you will be much worse than before or even be faced with many other healing problems, down the line. You will not lose your healing, if you are diligent and listen and are obedient to the Holy Spirit and are consistent with your reading and application of God's word to your health and other circumstances.
You Must Live By Faith
2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7 informs all Christians that we are to live by faith and not by our sight or circumstances. Take your eyes off your situations and problems and put them squarely on the Lord and His word, as a consistent practice. Then you will be able to maintain your healing; spirit, soul and body.
Keep Maintaining Your Health
Your first task in life, is to keep praising and worshipping the Lord. You are to read, meditate and confess His word, each day. Always keep praying and interceding for others and as you pray for your family and friends, before God's throne and obey the Holy Spirit's directions, you will surely keep your healing. There will be an increase in your spiritual and natural abilities as a result. You will have divine victory each day and be able to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. Remember, it is truly God's will for you to walk in His divine healing and have good health but you must also do your part, in obedience to God's word and His directions, for your life. Place your life securely under the cleansing power of Christ's blood and live in His resurrection power. His resurrection and healing power will become stronger in you, as you abide in Jesus Christ, your Lord and Saviour.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Come Lord Jesus! - Blog 402 - April 20th 2026]]>Mon, 20 Apr 2026 02:34:32 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/come-lord-jesus-blog-402-april-20th-2026Picture
Why Hasn't Jesus Returned?
It is almost 2,000 years since Jesus said he would return for His body of believers, His church. Why hasn't He come back? We learn the reason why when we read the real answer written, for our understanding, in James chapter 5 verses 7 and 8. It is important that we keep working in our portion of the Kingdom of God and patiently wait for His return. Christians must wait expectantly, just like the farmer waiting for the harvest of His crop. The Lord patiently awaits the heavenly harvest not willing that anyone, who can be saved, will miss out being saved. However, we have God's promise of His near return. Huge numbers of born again Christians have gone to be with the Lord over the past 2,000 years. Many will shortly experience the wonder of His soon coming return, when He raptures and takes home His church to heaven!
Those Who Enter Heaven
In life's journey, upon planet earth, there are two paths that a person can follow. We learn about these two pathways from Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 and 14. Christians are only able to enter heaven through the path that leads from the narrow gate. This entry point is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who shed His blood on the Cross at Calvary, for all, who are willing to believe and accept Him as their own personal Lord and Saviour. They must obediently follow Him on a narrow and difficult pathway that at first includes repentance from their sins and then having their spirit recreated by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These folk willingly accept God's word, the Holy Bible, as their guide book for life and follow its instructions. Everyone else, who are not born again Christians, follow the broad way that often looks and feels great but only leads to hell and eternal destruction. It is broad and easier to travel on but leads not to heaven but to eternal loss, in hell.
How to Stay on the Narrow Way
People who desire to reach heaven must constantly avoid the pitfalls, of the flesh, the world and the devil. 1 Thessalonians 5 verses 15 to 18 inform us of the important issues that enable God's children to keep travelling on the narrow way. Firstly, we must never repay other people with any evil thoughts, speech or actions for things they have done to us, even intentionally. We must always be willing to forgive people their unrighteous acts towards us. Secondly, we must keep on rejoicing in the Lord and delight ourselves by believing faithfully in God and His word. Thirdly, we must be persistent, in our prayer life, praying for others, particularly other Christians and the breaking off of satanic and demonic power, in all our earthly circumstances.
Circumstances Before Christ's Second Coming
We learn from the Lord Himself, of the horrendous situations that will indicate, to His children, that which will occur prior to His second coming. This we learn from Matthew chapter 24 verses 4 to 14. Many will come as false Messiahs proclaiming that their ideas are God's ways. There will be a continuous line of warfare and battles with increasing intensity and even worldwide destruction. There will be greater disturbances and chaos, as a result of famines and earthquakes. These happenings are all signs of a time of unprecedented anguish and trouble. Those who follow Christ will be persecuted for their faith even unto physical death. As a result, many Christians will fall away and reject their former loyalty to Christ. False apostles and prophets will arise leading some believers and many unbelievers into eternal perdition. All around us, lawlessness will abound and both God's and man made laws will be consistently forsaken and rejected. However, all true born again Christians will be able, in Christ, to overcome and endure to the end. The good news or gospel of God's saving grace, through Jesus Christ, will be preached throughout the entire world. When the gospel has been taught to all tribes and nations, then the end of this era, will come!
Come, Lord Jesus!
Those who are God's children will keep looking upwards for His soon coming return. This we read and learn from Revelation chapter 22 verses 20 and 21. Jesus said He was coming quickly, as soon as all who can be saved, will be saved. The last 150 years will surely convince our spirits and souls that the Lord is coming quickly with His born again saints to meet all who are God's born again children, who are now living upon planet earth. Come Lord Jesus!
You Are Forgiven
Every person alive on planet Earth, this very day, who repents and is genuinely sorry for their sins and is willing to accept Jesus Christ of Nazareth as their own Lord and Saviour, is then forgiven of all their sins. This we learn from Psalm 103 verses 2 to 4. Their spirit, their inner person, is then recreated by the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of God and becomes a new creation. They are a child of God and their destiny is eternal life, in heaven, forever. Their sins are blotted out and remembered no more, by God.
Your Sins Are Forgotten
We learn from Jeremiah chapter 31 verses 32 to 34 that God has made a new covenant with His people and will never more remember their sins because He has forgiven and has forgotten them! How important is it that we also forgive and forget when people sin against us! Our Father God will reveal to the spirits of God's redeemed children, who Jesus Christ truly is. From the very least of God's children to the most mature spiritual people they all will know who Jesus really is. Jesus has become and will remain, as they remain faithful, to their wonderful Lord and Saviour.
He Died to Redeem Everyone
Born again children of God read, with great joy, that Jesus didn't come into the world to condemn people of their sins but rather to save them from their sins. We read about this valuable information from John chapter 3 verse 16. Whoever believes and trusts in Him, as their own Lord and Saviour, will be forgiven and saved, forever, in Him and will inherit His eternal life. They will live forever and never perish.
Only Unbelievers Perish
The eternal destination of those who are not willing to believe is hell and eternal spiritual destruction. We learn about the eternal damnation of the wicked in John chapter 3 verse 19. The basis for their eternal spiritual destruction is that when the Light of God and freedom from Satan's lies and deceit came into the world, they were not willing to believe and accept Jesus Christ's death on the Cross, for themselves. His subsequent resurrection became payment for all their evil deeds. How could this be so? These people, who appear to be, by far the greater proportion of mankind, have rejected the Light of God's gospel because they delighted in sin and their own evil deeds.
Sinners Set Free
We further learn about mankind being set free from the burden of their sins, in Colossians chapter 2 verses 13 and 14. It was when we were dead in our sins and then repented, we were set free. As we were living in sin, as most of the world continues to do so we were made alive, in Christ and were freely forgiven of all our sins. In the eyes of God the Father the sins, of all mankind, were paid for by the blood shed by Jesus Christ, on the Cross at Calvary. The certificate of each person's debt, to God, was cancelled out, by Christ's death and resurrection. This certificate of eternal damnation was nailed to Christ's Cross and all now and in the future and down through the ages, who have believed God and His word, are eternally set free.
Believers Are Heaven Bound
Every person who is alive, today, no matter where they live, who believes that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for their sins and have repented of them and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is heaven bound. Hebrews chapter 10 verses 17 and 18 tells us that we have a covenant with God and that His laws are imprinted on our heart, our spirit, our inner real person. As a result, all our sins of deceitful thoughts and evil words and our lawless acts, God no longer remembers them or holds them against us. How blessed are all those who believe in Jesus Christ and the truth of His word, the Holy Bible! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Live Securely
We read that God's children can live securely in the knowledge and safety of God's word, the Holy Bible. This we learn from Proverbs chapter 1 verse 33. Those who are obedient to God's will and purposes will have confident trust in Him and will also be at ease even during troublesome times. They will not have fear of Satan's deceptions, nor fleshly desires, nor the dread of evil, from the surrounding worldly activities. Their peace and safety will be in their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who is well able to keep them, in His hands.
Pay Attention to God's Word
Christians, learn how important it is to learn, read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to their own lives on a consistent, daily basis. This we learn from Proverbs chapter 4 verses 20 to 23. The most sensible time to do this is early in the morning before the day's activities come upon us. Then whenever, possible during the day and importantly before settling down to sleep, particularly at night time. In this passage a father is telling his son about the importance of paying attention to God's word and to keep his spiritual ears, in his inner person, open to the truth and guidance that is in God's word. Always listen to God's word and don't let it escape from your understanding. According to the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit, these words must be foremost in the centre of your spirit. God's word gives each born again person, the essential knowledge of living a godly life. They are the reality of life and they also provide us with our healing, in spirit, soul and body. Always listen carefully to the words that the Holy Spirit gives your spirit. Every day, obey God's words, diligently. God's word comes to your spirit and then from your spirit to your mind, will, emotions and your body. From your whole being will come forth living water, for your eternal life, in Christ.
Those Who Refuse to Listen
What a dreadful end result is the case for all who will not willingly receive and listen to God's word. These people, unfortunately, become lost souls, forever. According to Isaiah chapter 6 verses 9 and 10 it is their own fault and not God's. Isaiah, the prophet, who lived more than seven hundred years before the birth of the Lord, in Bethlehem, foretold that the nation of Israel were a stubborn people. They would not listen to the word of Isaiah, which is really God's word to His people. Many Gentiles and most Jews of the twenty first century, who will not listen to and accept God's word for their own lives, are also stubborn and rebellious people. So many people in many places of religious worship and through the electronic media are listening with their outer ears but do not understand with their inner spiritual ears the things pertaining to God and His word. They even keep looking and seeing many marvellous works of God and very often witness miraculous healings but do not give God the thanks or glory. Their very spirits are insensitive to God. Their senses are dull and dim and they refuse to believe. If they really looked and saw the marvellous creation around them and were willing to heed then they would know that there is a God. They often listen to the wonderful sounds of creation and particularly His music and our ability to converse with one another. If they did so they would then return to God and be healed in their spirit, soul and body but most refuse to do so.
Deaf Spiritual Ears
The unbelieving Jews, in Jesus' time, kept on misunderstanding what Jesus said. They were spiritually unable, like most of the world, today, to understand who Jesus really is, the Creator and Sustainer, of all life. This we learn from John chapter 8 verses 43 and 44. Jesus told the religious leaders that they were of their father the devil. Even today they remain under the bondage of Satan's lies and deceit and really they did not understand the truth or even want to understand the truth. These people, today, still cannot understand the truth. All those who do so remain the same as their predecessors, living their lives in the kingdom of darkness and are still willing to live lives of deceit and corruption. Satan was and is still a murderer of people and of the truth of who God really is. There is no truth in Satan and like his children, he speaks lies because it is natural to him and is, unfortunately, the same with his children.
Listening to the Holy Spirit
Born again people are the only people, on the face of planet earth, who are able to follow the directions of the Holy Spirit. This we learn from Romans chapter 8 verses 14 to 16. Those who willingly allow themselves to be led by the Holy Spirit, are the true children of God. They are not slaves of Satan, living in the bondage of fear and unbelief. God's judgement comes upon the deeds of the evil doers, however God's children have already received the spirit of adoption. Joyfully, in Christ, they call out to God as “Abba !”, their Father. All those who believe in God and His word and are faithfully practising His truths, are confirmed, by God, through His word, as His eternal children.
Always Receive God's Word
Every person, who is a born again Christian, must be willing to receive God's word, as His everlasting truth. According to 2 Timothy chapter 4 verses 3 and 4 this is imperative, in these latter days of God's salvation! As Paul wrote to Timothy, there would come a time when people would reject the sound teaching of God's word. We can see that this is happening in many churches, this very day. This warning has taken full hold of their congregations and parent organisations. So much of the accurate teaching of God's word is now rejected by many so called bible teachers and pastors, who are teaching many so called lukewarm Christians. These people only want to please their congregations with feel-good messages that lack much of the basic principles of God's word. Many pastors earn good salaries by preaching only what many people want to hear. This can leave their congregations weak and helpless against the depredations of Satan and the world. Unfortunately people are turning their ears away from God's truth and ignoring the voice of the Holy Spirit and the word of God. As a result, people wander off believing myths and man made ideas. Please, go to a church that teaches the truth of God's word so that you can grow spiritually and overcome the lies and deceits of the flesh, the world and the devil. God bless you mightily, as you are able and willing to do so! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Release God's People!
Even though many hundreds of millions of people have heard the gospel, during the past two thousand years and have repented and have been saved, there are many more millions of people in the world, today, who still receive and accept the gospel of salvation and eternal life. We read from Exodus chapter 5 verse 1 that God commanded Moses to tell Pharaoh to let God's people, the Hebrews, to go free from their captivity in Egypt, three thousand five hundred years ago. There are many people, who are under spiritual bondage, this very day, who are seeking freedom and release from their slavery to sin. Those who are already God's children are the ones who are chosen by God, to witness to these lost children, whether singly or in groups or in great numbers. Only the salvation hope of Jesus Christ can release those who are willing to accept the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit, that enables them to have eternal release and freedom from sin.
The Unsaved
We learn from the parable of the sower, in Matthew chapter 13 verses 19 to 23, that the great harvest of lost souls are those still living in Satan's kingdom, as part of his world wide field. God's word, the Holy Bible and its message of salvation, through Jesus Christ, is the only way that people can be saved. The children of God's kingdom are the only ones that have the good seed of salvation, living in them. We, as God's reconciling liberators, are the only ones that can release the unsaved. The unsaved who will be saved are those who will accept and believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their own personal Lord and Saviour.
You Are to Go!
If you are truly a born again Christian, forgiven of your sins, and washed in His precious blood, you are a chosen one, by the Lord, to bring redemption to your part of the lost world. The Lord commands His children to do so in both Matthew chapter 28 verse 19 and Mark chapter 16 verse 15. This may be to go to a brother or sister or a relative, to a friend, to someone seeking salvation in your church. It can also include a neighbour or a workmate, someone in a social or church group or to anyone, worldwide, who needs to be born again. We must always respond to the Holy Spirit's instructions, to go and reconcile those, in any situation, who are needing to be saved.
Anointed by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit anoints and empowers all who are willing to go and carry out God's redemptive purposes. We learn about God's anointing, upon His children, from Luke chapter 4 verse 18. It is the Holy Spirit who anoints God's born again children and empowers them to do God's work and to fulfil His plans and purposes. We must preach the gospel which is able to save man's spirit, for eternal life. The word of God, the Holy Bible, through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, is well able to set the captives free from Satan's power. He enables them to have a new life in Christ. Those who are blind to who Jesus Christ really is are now well able to see and live in His truth. God's wonderful anointing sets the oppressed and downtrodden souls free, from their bondage.
He Is the Lord and Saviour of All
The marvellous freedom for mankind's future is revealed in John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17. The Father so loved and highly prized His created beings, in the form of mankind, that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, down to earth, to purchase their redemption through shedding His own blood, on the Cross, at Calvary. This was for the lives of every human being that has ever lived. Whoever believes on Him, will never perish but gain eternal life. Jesus, did not come into the world to condemn the world to final judgement in Hell, but rather to save all who were willing to believe on His name. It is only those, who believe in Him and trust in Him, that will be saved! Those who don't believe will die and then be judged and will be damned forever, in Hell.
Preach and Teach God's Word
2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 2 informs us of the urgency to preach God's word to all who are willing to listen and to believe. The time to do so, for each succeeding generation, is right now! This is so that people can be saved from eternal damnation. It is a necessity, whether the opportunity is obvious or whether it is not as obvious. Every born again believer is to make it their responsibility to reach out with the word of life, to all who are lost! Teach the doctrine of salvation to all who are willing to hear. No one should ever be in doubt concerning that which God's word has to say. We are to warn those who are living dangerously, even precarious Christian lives, that they must change their ways and live according to God's will and purposes. They must not live according to the precepts of the flesh, the world and the devil. This is not a cake walk but a responsibility for every born again Christian, to do so!
The World Is Passing Away
We learn from 1 John chapter 2 verses 15 to 17 that this sinful world, that we live in, is transient – that it is passing away. We are not to love the world of sin because it opposes our loving God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If we actively involve ourselves, as Christians, in the evil and darkness of Satan's kingdom, then we also do not really love the Father. When we are trusting in all the lust and sensual craving of the world and the flesh, the longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of confidence, in our own resources, then we are not trusting in the Lord, as our provider and sustainer. Satan's world of deceptive ideas and foolish fads is passing away. Its lustful nature is not from our God. However, the kingdom of God and the fulfilment of His will and purposes, will last forever. Thanks be to our wonderful Lord and Saviour and His eternal life and purposes as revealed in His children, forevermore! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

<![CDATA[Crucify the Flesh - Part 2 - Blog 140 - March 23rd 2026]]>Mon, 23 Mar 2026 02:10:23 GMThttps://newapostlesvoice.com/blog/crucify-the-flesh-part-2-blog-140-march-23rd-2026Picture
We Must Acknowledge That We Are Sinners
We must acknowledge that we are sinners and are in need of God's forgiveness. When we do this we become crucified with Christ, because we are now His child. No longer should we or even dare live the life we once lived. Our old man, our inner person, has been crucified with Christ. It is now Christ who lives in us. God Almighty, through the Holy Spirit, lives in and contacts us through our inner person, our recreated spirit. The life I now live is by faith, in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. This we learn from Galatians chapter 2 verse 20.
Christians Must Not Have Fellowship with the World's Ways
We learn how important it is that God's children should not have fellowship with other Christians, who deliberately live in immorality, as their choice of lifestyle. This information is taught to us from James chapter 4 verse 4. Fellowship with the world and its ways, causes us to have enmity with God. It can enable God's own children to become adulterated, by the world. Those who want to join or even condone their evil behaviour, become friends with the world. Pursuing such a course, will ultimately, make you, an enemy with God. Born again Christians are in the world but must not be part of the world's system or practices to deceive but rather they are to reach out to the lost with the love, compassion and saving grace of Jesus.
Jesus Was Crucified to Obtain Our Righteousness
Jesus bore our sins and took our place on the Cross of Calvary. This we read in 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24. The Lord enables us to die to sins that we might live, through Christ, with the righteousness He purchased, for us, on the Cross. With the salvation package of forgiveness came the healing of our spirit, as well as our soul and body. We must believe we can receive full healing from the Lord, in every area of our life. He was crucified for us that we might gain and live eternal life. Likewise, we must also renew our minds, on the word of God, the Holy Bible, as well as being willing to crucify the lusts and passions of the flesh.
Leave the Things of the World Behind
Wonderful blessings and also warnings are learned by us, from 1 John chapter 2 verses 15 to 17. We are exhorted not to love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone does love the world and makes it number one they demonstrate that they don't really love the Father. All that is in the world, consisting of the lust of the flesh such as sexual passions and perversions; the lust of the eyes, in which we become greedy for more than we need and the pride of life; thinking we are better than others and always desiring greater wealth and position, in life, does not carry out the will of the Father. All of this is of the world. However, this world is passing away as well as its lust. Those who do the will of the Father have crucified the world, the flesh and the devil in their own lives and God's will abides in them.
Those Who Crucify the Flesh Are Obedient People
To truly crucify the flesh we must be willing to be obedient to God's will and purposes for our life. We put God's will and desires first and uppermost. Just as Jesus obeyed the Father, by giving up His heavenly glory and going to the Cross, we must also be, in our desire to follow the Lord and bring honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. Crucifying that which is not of God may be painful for the moment but it brings rich rewards of God's forgiveness and eternal life and a joy that no one can take away. Remember, you are not your own but you have been bought with a price; the price of Christ's shed blood and His death on the Cross. Keep on walking in the way of the Cross and His resurrection power through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, through faith, in God's word. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
