Listening to music carefully is vital if you are ever going to truly appreciate the unique rhythms and harmonies that make up the colourful sound palette that is collectively called music. Listening is a crucial part of our daily life. If we listen carefully to instructions concerning whatever has to be done then we are guaranteeing at least some amount of success in our lives. Should we not understand or appreciate the totality of the instructions then it is important that we ask questions about the problem concerned. When we ask the questions, even if we have to ask them many times, it is so important that we listen carefully to the answers and so interpret them correctly. As it is with music and every day problems that arise so it is most important with matters of the spirit.
We cannot just listen to preachers, spiritual leaders, our family and friends and just assume what all they say about spiritual matters are correct. We must always refer and base our understanding, rather than just our own opinions, on the eternal Word of God, known as the Bible; this word simply means the book .
What God has said in His Word in the Old Testament and particularly, in the New Testament, must be taken on board by our minds and spirit. The Holy Spirit must be given free rein to interpret the scriptures for us. The scriptures are not for private interpretation but as the Holy Spirit reveals the will of God for our lives.
Following on from reading and meditating on God's Word it is absolutely essential that you listen carefully to what the Holy Spirit tells you to do. then you must be obedient and apply the wisdom and knowledge given and put it in to direct action in your own life. Furthermore you will bring honour and glory to the Father and be a wonderful help and blessing to your own family and friends with whom you come in contact. A suggestion for increased help in this regard would be to commence in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Well that is it for now folks! Keep on listening and enjoying both the music and God's Word

Are you a New Creation?
All those people who have willingly repented and have not just gone through some church formula but have asked the Lord for forgiveness of their sins have been recreated spiritually as new creations in Christ. The former things have passed away for these people and their old former fallen nature has been crucified with Christ and they have been given a new nature. No longer do they live according to the ways of the world, the flesh and the devil. Their whole nature is changed and Christ in them, through His resurrection power, and the indwelling presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit, has given them the hope of glory and the assurance through obedience to God's will and purposes; the gift of eternal life. No longer are they natural creations destined for hell but are now recreated spirits that have been given entry to the Kingdom of God for eternity.
When Jesus came to earth to give salvation to mankind we read in John chapter 1 verses 11 to 13 that some people received His wonderful gospel of forgiveness and reconciliation but many didn't. He came to Israel and there were many wonderful new creations that were born again through the Spirit of God but the bulk of the people, unfortunately, did not receive the Lord. However as many as did receive Him Jesus gave them the right or authority to become children of God; to as many as believed in Him. They were not born of the flesh or by man's ability or will power but were born again by the Spirit of God. All of creation now had the opportunity to be delivered from the bondage of corruption and enjoy the glorious liberty available to all who become children of God.
Anyone, who has repented of their sins and has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, have now become a new creation. You are different from all who are unsaved. You are now a child of the living God. As a new creation old desires and passions have passed away. All your thoughts and goals have become new because you are a new creation in Christ. You are more than just a plain old Christian because you are now a child of God. We read about this in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17
